That today as proposing hiking taxes on the rich to pay for a richer Social Security benefits for the far from rich. While former senator graham said warrens policies could sink the economy, he is here and used and where the Democratic Candidates will be meeting tonight. Hillary. Neil former Vice President joe biden will be right in the middle tonight between senator Elizabeth Warren and senator bernie sanders, both who have a lot of expensive ideas. Sanders pleaded today a clip from his Campaign Podcast that essentially brags he would develop ten times more resources then biden would to solve Climate Change through his Climate Change plan. Warren is out with her own plan today directing Social Security. The outcome of course comes with a new way to pay for it. Warrens plan promises people who get Social Security benefits 200 more every month, and it is paid for by essentially a tax on the top 2 . High earning families will contribute over 14 of their net Investment Income to Social Security to pay for this plan. And those progressive price tags from secretary Steven Mnuchin who today said, these new taxes could be big trouble for the economy. I think if you listen to the Elizabeth Warren plan, you know, it is 100 recession. If not worse. This is the first time warren will face off against the front runner joe biden on the debate stage but before biden heads to Texas Southern university, hes out with a new campaign ads reminding everyone that he was president Barack ObamasVice President. Step back and Say Something we dont often say as partners as the nation. Barack obama is an extraordinary man. Sanders is also ramping up the pressure on biden by targeting the oil and gas industry on twitter ahead of the debate tonight. Obviously, texas the number one producer of oil and gas in the country. Sanders wants to band fracking and so does senator Kamala Harris but biden has not gone that far. Also the other two texans on the stage Julian Castro and beto orourke also have not supported a total fracking band. Neil. Neil flawless with that noise behind you that could either be a mower or airplane, but nice job. In the middle of that big debate tonight. Meanwhile former texas graham says if she gets her way, the nations economy will get the shaft. Joining us right now, senator, are you worried about this . Well, im worried about the impact that its going to have on retirees and old folks and old folks, i am affected. But here is the point. If you listen to warren, you get the idea she is talking about rich people. You know, payment, sportsmen, but do need to understand they are bit players in american capitalism. 72 of the stocks in American Companies are owned by Pension Funds, 401 k s, iras, or held by insuranc Fund Annuities and to find insurance benefits. So when she is mandating companies provide all of these benefits to people who dont invest in the company, she is taking money away from 100 million retirees in america. And if they understood this, it would be outraged at what she is proposing. And so the problem is, there is a confusion here. People think when she is talking about forcing Corporate America to pay for all of these benefits, for all of these groups, societal concerns, the environment, et cetera, they think that she is talking about taking the money away fromich people. About 72 of ownership of those companies is held basically by Pension Funds, and that is americans between 55 and the end of their lifetime. Neil senator, she is going to come around and say, im asking that the really rich can contribute a lot. Now, the Social Security fund, she said 250,000 or more to help pay for the increased benefits for those who are below that. Now, im wondering if this spreads, that is clearly not the billionaire or even the multimillionaire crowd, what do you think . Well, look, let me go back to the point that when shes mandating that companies provide benefits to seven different groups besides the people who invest in the money in the company, that they provide money for the community, for the environment, for the workers. The problem is, the owners of the companies are Pension Funds. And so that money is coming right out of the pockets of 100 million americans who are either retired or they are very close to being retired. Neil i know shes been faulted for reckless spending plans, but the problem for republicans is, overseeing the republican president from a 3 trillion deficit the fiscal year so another month for the fiscal year. And so im not you, specifically but republicans find ones to talk about going on a spending fed by the rich or whatever. Well, look, notice what shes doing, neil. She is not raising taxes in her program to make Companies Pay for benefits the government once provided, but they dont want to pay for them. She is making retirees by driving down the value of equities in america and paying for those programs. So we are not talking about rich people. Rich people dont own Corporate America. 72 of the stock value of america. Neil senator, just to be clear, we have a little bit left my apologize, but just to be clear, you are saying they are forced to pay more taxes, they sell and that hits the markets. The markets with the Pension Funds and moms and pups who have invested in the market. When you include those investments 7 out of 10 americans are the ones that will get gouged, right . Exactly. 72 the pain she will impose on Corporate America is going to come to people that are retired, or are very close to retiring. Rich people will move to france. Neil france. We cant let that happen. Senator, thank you very much. By the way, the senator was not among those expenses but he was behind spending caps and try to control the budget. By the biden party. Meanwhile, the stocks were jumping today. They had been up a lot further, seventh straight day it advances on optimism on the trade front even though at the white house, may be some confusion there as well. What do you think is going on blake . A lot of movement on the front, neil. One word that has been constant when you talk about the United States and china has been good will. That is the word both sides are using today. After President Trump announced that he would delay an increase on terrorists scheduled to go into effect on october 1st. Two weeks later, october 152 celebratory anniversary that will be happening in china at that time. The treasury secretary, steve midocean said earlier this morning that the u. S. Agreed to chinas request. We are asked to delay it and the president agreed to that. I hope china reciprocates this was not done. This was done as a goodwill gesture to the chinese. The word goodwill there and also a spokesperson for Congress Ministry says we welcome goodwill by the u. S. The the president s advisors considering interim trade deal with china. The direction that we are headed. While minutia and talked up the use of tariffs. There is no question the only reason why china is seriously negotiating with us is because of the tariffs, so tariffs do work. Its what brought them to the table. A lot of headlines today, china also gave the impression, neil there could be a large scale ad buy of u. S. Products. The president took note of that, took to twitter and said the following, it is expected that china will be buying large amounts of our agricultural products. The key word, they were deal is expected because as you know, sometimes the expectations and what exactly has happened between the u. S. And china has not necessarily gone handinhand. Neil no, it has not. I remember we didnt promise that. Blake, good, thank you, buddy. The white house. But checking the markets, if response, and the trade deal, the worse it looks come all of a sudden we have to take back something said that didnt look so promising. The worst they do, following a pattern here. Whether that pattern continues, what do you think . I think it is lucy and the football at some point. Neil that is a great analogy. Look my think the heart of it, it is important to get a trade deal done. It is important to get rid of this uncertainty. Out today with an analysis saying it was costing the United States economy 300,000 jobs. Im not sure i agree with that, but there is no question this trade confrontation which is really what it is, has caused a lot of uncertainty d and driven down investment investment. That is my biggest concern because if we didnt have much business invested under obama years thanks to a lot of regulations and uncertainty created by those regulations. Then it turned around and we did finally in 2018. And now, that has slitted him because i think people dont know quite what to do. They dont know how that will turn out. Neil i do understand, if you are a ceo and not quite sure something that could affect your business is going to affect the business, you hold off on hiring. I get that. But i do get with the president said is well talking about the Companies Using this as an excuse. Blaming the weather when sales are bad and never credited the sun. So is there Something Like that going into this . I think more with secretary mnuchin, china would not even be having these conversations without the tariffs. We consider around and talk about whether this was the best use of firepower and the best way of doing it, but what is true chinas ip fast of u. S. Goods or ideas was never actually neil that is at the crux of all of this. Exactly soaked to the publics knowledge we never had these kinds of brass tax conversations without tariffs being on the table. So i do understand what secretary mnuchin said this morning, okay, there is a point to that. And i also love the football and how it analysis. That is great. What is the number one thing you have to feel . Confidence. If you are in that hot seat making decisions about hiring people, of course you were worried. Confidence, i mean, there ise always changing parts but these are really, really big changes. Neil here is the response to the world when they cut interest rates, europe did that today. Europe will be priming the pump by the kind of the thing that trump wants to see here and really provide expenditures. And then china is doing that too, infusing liquidity into their system and boost economy. Look, we so far have the upper hand. I really believe this. I think the economy thanks to the consumer and thanks to the good job market, there was no sign that is crumpled. Neil but what if we have no deal . It depends on how we react to that. If we continue to put tariffs on or ratchet them up in frustration about that, then i think eventually. Neil what about a twin deal on that . We dont deal with the old property stuff. That is what they were talking about. This carve out. Neil the president rejected that. Yes, he has and he also rejected not having any other topic right, no hong kong, no human rights to be presented, again, obviously a big think ong john bolton analogy is to maybe not rely so much on peter navarro. Both of these really tough guys . You know, may be trump is sort of looking at this, hey, ive got to be more flexible. Neil an interesting angle. That and the lucy thing. [laughter] talking to charlie brown. All right, the economic recovery, unimpeachable, try impeachment. Why would some democrats do it and of the house more democrats fearing, you know what, we are going to lose that. We are going to lose the white house. Listen to this. There is no legal difference between these terms, and i know longer care to argue about it. Speak with the Judiciary Committee is a giant instagram builder to make you appear that something is happening thats not. The difference between full impeachment proceedings and what we are doing today is a world apart no matter what the chairman just said. Neil impeachment, jerry nadler are now closer to kicking off of the impeachment hearings than he ever has. Its long overdue so house leaders fear for democrats, may be so long before a lot of them its long over. Fox news chad on the latest helga dimmick took of basically they set the parameters but this radioactive on capitol hill. This is why democrats both moderates and liberals struggling with the somatic spirit House Speaker nancy pelosi shut down questions during her press conference when pressed about impeachment. Im not answering any more questions on this subject. Why is it that you are hung up on a word over here when lives are at stake over there . Pelosi trying to pivot the conversation to guns and Senate Majority leader mitch mcconnell. Now freshman democrats who represent swing districts are worried about this. They are worried about democrats going too far with impeachment. Case study anthony a freshman in upstate new york and he wonders if democrats are overplaying their hands on impeachment, listen. Im a selfish year, but im not afraid to speak out and say, look, i think we need to be moving forward towards putting a package on the floor. Doing something on infrastructure. Neal, impeachment is a black hole. Its allconsuming and you can see if they start to get too close with impeachment committed consumes everything. Everything they are trying to accomplish on health care in the environment, jobs, that goes out the window, neil. Neil check thank you very much on capitol hill. Jim comey, and Andrew Mccabe got bad news from the doj. What that means. Biopharmaceutical researchers. Driven each day to pursue lifechanging cures. In a country built on fostering innovation. Here, they find breakthroughs. Like a way to fight cancer by arming a patients own tcells. And a new therapy that gives the blind a working gene so they can see again. Because its not just about the next breakthrough. Its all the ones after that. Family is all togetherect. And we switched to geico; saved money on our boat insurance. How could it get any better than this . Dad, i just caught a goldfish theres no goldfish in this lake. Whoa its pure gold. Were gonna be rich. Were gonna be rich it only gets better when you switch and save with geico. Its true, the big Wireless Companies have great coverage. Great coverage. Thats because of all these cell towers. Glorious, isnt it . but guess what . Straight talk wireless runs on the same 4g lte networks. For up to half the cost. The unlimited plan is just 45 bucks a month. No contract. Why havent we switched . You really should, its a really good deal. Plus 200 off the Samsung Galaxy s9. Straight talk wireless. Everything for less. N so news, andy mccaig, the former fbi to avoid federal charges and the just apartment mixing that so what now . Whitewater special prosecutor can store, what do you think happens now . Well, it looks as though the indictment presented to the grand jury will likely be returned. There has been an elaborate process. And i want to pay credit to the Justice Department here. The Justice Department should listen before they filed charges, and apparently, there was a meeting with jeff rosson who is a good man, a good man, honest, bright integrity and so forth. I practice law with him and hes a terrific person, good and basically nonpolitical. By the law person so the Justice Department looks as though the boom is about to be lowered on mr. Mccabe. What does that mean and what can we be looking at here . Well the charges are apparently going to be for misleading the fbi. Neil for lying. For lying. But we keep talking about misleading, but we will see what the indictment says. Not only will we see the indictment, but we could be looking at the prison time here notwithstanding his record and his record to come i know theres been a lot of controversy but he had 20 plus years in the fbi until hillary investigation and so forth. And so i think all of that will be taking into account. I would imagine there will be a plea deal. Neil all right, there was that time when trying to make sure he got a government pension in there. Many years. Do they play around with that sort of thing in a settlement of this sort . It is possible, but i think that die is cast on that because he was fired. Now it could be reopened and obviously no responsibility and so we will look at all of this. They can put everything on the table. They apparently have clever lawyers and that is a complement, great lawyers. So lets have a global resolution of this. All of these years, just hours short of his pension investing and so forth. So there is that equity that i think his lawyers will be advancing. And i think the Justice Department u. S. Attorney has a good reputation in the district of columbia. I think there will be a reasonable resolution. But it is bad news for mr. Mccabe and frankly, the former leadership of the fbi. They should not be misleading their own agents and in an official investigation, to put it mildly. Neil that is kind of the road of this Inspector General report, looking at the origins of how this was handled. Where do you think that goes . A lot of people wondering why it is taking so long. What do you think . Well, i think it is going to be very serious for the former leadership of the fbi and possibly the Justice Department officials. Obviously, we are truly in speculation territory. But the fact that it is taking so long. We were expecting this, as you recall, neil, back in may. Attorney general barr, during his confirmation hearings in the spring saying, soon. Washingtons definition of soon, obviously, not a common sense definition. But i think things have been happening. Probably new evidence. Probably witnesses coming forward. The interview of mr. Steele, the now infamous mr. Steele may have shed some light on the interviews in london. And that interview can lead to other thoughts that need to be collective. And so i think we should have as a country, politics aside, great confidence in the rule of law in the Justice Department and in particular, right now, the office of Inspector General. When that report is issued, we need to study it. I think it is going to be a serious, serious dark mark on the leadership of the fbi and the director of call me. I hate to say that because i love the bureau. Neil and i wonder, what happens if they do report and it comes out Inspector Generals office . How do you take it to the next level . Inspector general can make recommendations, right, but play that out for me. Absolutely. What the Inspector General does, and the Inspector General does not have grand jury authority. And that is serious stuff. So lets just say here, here is the report for Michael Horowitz the Inspector General. And then goes to the Criminal Division of the main justice, possibly to the United StatesAttorneys Office and one or more districts. Then depending on what the report says, the grand jury investigation opens. And i guarantee you when witnesses get in front of a grand jury, 23 of their fellow citizens and they are under oath and they know this is super serious business, it is a great mechanism for all the criticisms of grand jury procedures. Ive seen it with my own eyes. Its a great procedure to get the truth. Of course we are talking about depending on what those facts al indictments. Neil wow, ken starr thank you. Thank you for explaining a lot of the stuff to me. It is mindnumbing to me. Good seeing you here thank you. My pleasure. Neil it was not too long ago the president said this. Baltimore has been very badly mishandled for years. Baltimore is an example of what corrupt government leads to. I feel so sorry for the people of baltimore. Neil guess where hes going . It rains with baltimore. It rhymes with baltimore. Go to hilton instead of a travel site and youll experience a whole new range of emotions like. The relaxing feeling of knowing youre getting the best price. And the magic power of unlocking your room with your phone. I can read minds too. Really . Book at hilton. Com and get the hilton price match guarantee. Neil well, they are still cleaning up from dorian from the bahamas. Now, there could be in another bit of nasty weather coming their way. It might be quite serious too. Just when they dont need it most. What might seem like a small cause can be a big problem for the grandchildren. S you drive s. But allstate actually helps you drive safely. With drivewise. It lets you know when you go too fast. And brake too hard. With feedback to help you drive safer. Giving you the power to actually lower your cost. Unfortunately, it cant do anything about that. Now that you know the truth. Are you in good hands . gasp singsong budget meeting sweet. If you compare last quarter to this quarter. Various mmm. Its no wonder everything seems a little better with the creamy taste of philly, made with fresh milk and real cream. Neil all right, you are looking on the city of baltimore and you might recall the president is heading there for the First Time Since a rat and rodent infested mess. He will be speaking at a republican retreat but much like california, he is going into the belly of the beast. He doesnt seem to care the rep against him, only wanting to go to friendly venues. Not necessarily friendly then youll neither california. With us in that assessment. What do you make of this trip to baltimore . We will get to some of the others elsewhere. I think it is good President Trump is willing to go to places hes not necessarily popular to risk these kinds of protest that will take place. And i think it is especially good that even though this started as a typically trump tweet that caused a lot of controversy, i definitely think it is good for republicans actually to get into the city policy game and actually pull out the fact that democrats 9 out of 10 biggest cities. A lot of them have a lot of serious problems. I think it is time for republicans to get into the policy game. Neil what do you think . The fact is this whole thing is a charade. Why is he going there . To hobnob with political insiders to be railed against israeli. Neil this was prayer arranged before the conference. The house retreat, hes going to a long standing fundraiser with hundreds of thousands of dollars. Hes going there to suck up to the coastal elites, and they railed against in every single day, he still to divide between the very partisan working how space and the people that he is now sucking up to to get support. Neil he is going to the elite gathering and many are from baltimore. Hes saying you are living in a rat infested place. Hes getting them annoyed. The fact is, he doesnt really care. Neil you cant have it both ways, but he. Trump loves to have it both ways. Neil you are criticizing him to going after what he said about the city, and the people addressing and sucking up to our from the city. Yes, but the policies some of the idea that hes going into a democratic stronghold to get support from Traditional Democratic communities is absurd. He has shown no interest in the debate, no interest to be the president of the United States. Only interested in holding on limited Electoral Coalition that got him elected last time. Neil im beginning to think she will not vote for the president. Hes not trying to reach out to independents. Neil and the other turn on this committee think of this, he is seeking out other places that he might not win but maybe he could drive up his popular vote. And that he hopes to win the electoral and popular vote. The studies have shown, wait a minute, he might do the same thing all over again. The electoral commit matters and he wants to make a statement. What do you think . I think that is probably not the greatest strategy for the president on that. I think it is a good idea for other reasons. But i think for example, california to drive the popular vote the other way and run up the vote totals in california and from the bay area. We are not the most republican state or even republican open state. Neil but dont you admire anybody that will do that whether democrat or republican strong, democratic stronghold and roll the dice . How continua meyer someone to suck up for money . I dont get it. Neil wait a minute, he wouldnt be the first praise president to raise funds, right . No but most try to build coalition look at the homeless problem. He can do a lot to solve homelessness to begin. Neil i know you dont flip over the guy, but look at the unemployment level and booming economy. I know you dont care about the stock market, but whether you like him or not, that if something is done for those people in those areas, right . The economy looks like it might be on the edge of it. So when i dont know about that. You argue it is a good economy right now . It is a decent economy. Neil but if it were awful, you would be blaming him. The stock market is crazy. Neil that is the stock market. He threatens these crazy tariffs with china. If you would get off his high horse and a trade deal, maybe the stock market would be higher. Neil so rising during barack obama would you say the same . If it were rising during barack obama i would praise hes actually reaching out to build health care for all americans. Neil we are looking at record low employment for every key demographic in this country. Lets hope that continues. Neil he cant do anything right in your eyes, can he . This homelessness that you brought up is an important issue for republicans and democrats to Work Together on. Theres not a lot of actual evidence that democratic mayors, i think would be a great thing if the president tweeted about baltimore and these protest. Neil but you have to admit his languages course. No, but the conversation that was started, he trashed mid conversation so its got to watch that. I think calling out the reality of some of the problems in the city as a way to start a conversation. It is the way trump likes to start conversation. Neil but hes saying that not about the whole city and baltimore is a great city. He could reverse his plan to cut 300 billion in medicaid which hundreds of thousands of people on the street. He can reverse this plant neil what you mean it will turn hundreds of thousands . If people rely on medicaid for medication, and neil so it would matter. And also, neil. Neil he overstates that. Why does california have the highest homeless rates . Why do they have the highest unsheltered, and sheltered homeless rates in the nation . It should be the whole country. I think that is a fair point. But also hes recommending to cut the budget by 20 , cut funding for a program that builds lowincome housing. Regulated recommended to jeopardize 250,000 people. Neil animals and children im sure hate him. And dogs and cats. Neil all right, guys, thank you very much but in the meantime, mike pompeo is in the running to be the National Security advisor on top of being the secretary of state. You will never guess who it is. John roberts at the white house with more, hey, john roberts. I thought you were going to say john roberts at the white house. Neil that would be interesting. That would be interesting no question about that. Something has bubbled up and this has come from advisors who called the white house to say this is something that should happen. Also people that should work at the white house who say they should happen. And that is, like Henry Kissinger between 1973 and 1975, mike pompeo should not would be the secretary of state but also take on the role of National Security advisor as well. That was something that Richard Nixon did with kissinger, but when gerald ford took over from nixon, he removed the title of National Security advisor from kissinger and just headed to the secretary of state. Could mike pompeo do the job . Absolutely no question about it because he runs a lot of the National SecurityCouncil Meetings anyways. In some ways, im told, john bolton more of a liaison between the council and the president. And then a strong National Security of advisor. In fact, bolton had been kept out of left a lot of those meetings. Its not too much of a stretch to think pompeo could do both of those jobs. Reasons why it would not happen and im being way documented by white house officials that ive spoken to, is, first of all, pompeo was toying with the idea were instead of saying toying with the idea, given consideration to possibly run for the senate from kansas next year. So if he were to take on both roles and then depart to run for the senate, the president would not only lose secretary of state but National Security advisor as well. I have also heard concerns raised to give him both titles would put an awful lot of power and mike pompeos orbit. Because you would have him as the secretary of state, you would have a former classmate west point mark running the pentagon, and you would have gina haspel who was his deputy at the cia, and that would put him in charge of the cia. That would be mike pompeos associates curing a lot of power at the white house. But even if pompeo does not take the job, there is a real good chance that somebody who is very close to pompeo or at least pompeo really gets along well with will get the job. Because it is widely believed that if not signing off on it because if you tell President Trump someone else has to sign off of it, it will never happen. But pompeo will have a big influence on National Security advisor if its not him. It was amazing. The connections and people who are around his orbit. A channeled web. Neil all right as you know the white house is looking at banning e flavored cigarette sales entirely. Can the administration legally do this . No matter how you feel about the addictive nature of these problems especially for kids, go slow here. Im talking about judge. To ban mcdonalds cheeseburgers because they have too much fat in it. All the tim . Neil yodels . They say this is a harmful 200,000 people die a year from smoking tobacco products. Will the fda texas by state, federal and local governments. So they decided to be when they have put restrictions on tobacco advertisement. I know what you are saying, but Something Like that would be at least more palpable then banning. To your original question, they cannot ban overnight. First of all, they have to give themselves, this is interesting, give themselves a four authority to regulate it which of course they will do. Then promulgate a regulation which gives congress 30 days to nullify the regulation. And the public 30 days, including big tobacco to weigh in on the regulation. And if it survives the daytime. Mack, then they can enforce it. But the idea that the federal government will tell adults what to put in their bodies, havent we been through this before . Didnt we have something prohibition . Neil one of the ideas, they are targeting the use of this for kids. And the flavors that all the kids liked, but a lot of adults like those flavors. Adults have the right to smoke whatever they want. Neil right. Who should take care of the kids . The parents . Neil its up to parents. Of course, the president was talking about millennials. Millennials are adults and they have the right to make the choice that they want. Who belongs to your body . You are the federal government . Neil the way you market something, if the parents dont even know what its like. I have two teenagers and you see this stuff, and you wouldnt even know. So you stop bullying people. If the fda gives the power to regulate these ecigarettes, it can regulate the advertising as well. Here is the downside as well. If the manufacturers follow the fda regulation in the manner in which they put it together. They follow the regulation and somebody gets hurt, they get sued because the fda had cleared them. Neil but you worry about the slippery slope aspect, right . Like you said, you mentioned im not taking on that neil but arguments are made and i know a lot of people are warning about the dangers, you know, processed meats and cheeses, god knows, it is a slippery slope. You can argue and looking after the peoples best interest, it is the way to go. It gets a little crazy. Where in the constitution is the federal government authorized to regulate peoples personal Health Choices . The answer, nowhere. Neil but if you really like these things, i have the view that the government when things are getting so popular, people like them and dangerous as anything you have, it becomes a target for taking it off of the market. Or a target for putting higher taxes on it. The government will lose interest in Public Health because they see cash coming in. Neil but the texas get so high, it indicates the number of smokers going down. So it would have the opposite effect. But out of sight, the soap socalled sinful texas pay a lot of bills. They do and they do not deter the sun. Neil and the sin for us to understand, this is the lesser of the evils. I began with adults taking the addiction of cigarettes which are far more dangerous, right . Kid started taking it for other reasons. Some of them have never smoked at all. So what do you do about dangers that have emerged where kids lungs are compromised . It is not the governments job to alleviate and protect from all dangers. Neil do you put warnings on the favors the warnings . Im not in favor of warnings but the commercials feet forces people to put warnings on their own products by this, by the way it will kill you. Which is basically what a pack of cigarettes says. Neil so that you are kind of okay with . Im not okay with it but the law is. The Supreme Court has authorized the interference and free speech with respect to commercial speech as long as the state has forced upon the manufacturer is basically truthful. It is truthful that tobacco can kill you. But the fda will never outlaw because they dont have the resources to enforce the outlawing because they want the 65 billion in texas coming in all three levels of government. Neil interesting, judge, very good to see you again my friend. In the meantime Hurricane Dorian is out, but now the bahamas is bracing for something that could be pretty bad as well. Watch this. Dorian is barely out the door and the bahamas are already looking at another possible storm on the way. Hey, rick. Yeah, maybe we are going to get something, certainly some rain. We are at the peak of Hurricane Season right now so any disturbance we see develop across the waters, we have a good chance or definitely have a chance to develop. The next storm, by the way. Will be named humberto. The southeastern bahamas, why this is difficult for us, the center of the storm, we dont really know where it is. At the level of the atmosphere,n the Tropical Storm here maybe a little bit of action across cuba. All this action is higher up in the atmosphere. Basically if you dont have a good starting point it is hard to get kind of an end point of where that will go. Because of that, all of our models are doing a lot of different things. When you see this kind of activity right here, we always monitor this and if the conditions are right for strengthening. Because of that, 70 chance that we will see formation of that into a tropical main storm, which again would be humberto. Heres the problem, take a look at these models all over the place. That is because of what i said, where we dont know exactly where the center of that storm is. The big hurricane we had two weeks ago from the bahamas. We knew exactly where the center of that storm was. You could initialize all of your model productions projections e point. We cant do that right now and because of that we end up with the thing that doesnt really give you much indication. I can tell you, if it gets its act together, if it gets the center of the storm a little farther towards the north, if it strengthens a little bit, that would favor something here across the Eastern Shore of florida. Maybe just staying right off shore somewhere in there. If that doesnt happen, all of that energy will likely drift farther off towards the west, kind of across florida and may be somewhere here across parts of the gulf. Lots of variables, but we dont have a really defined center of the storm. This is one model we have. Take a look at this. Certainly, i dont see anywhere where we dont have a lot of moisture in the northern bahamas and in any case, that is good news. Speak of the last thing they need no matter what happens. Thank you my friend very, very much for following all of that. Hard to make sense of this early Hurricane Season. We have a lot to go. The dow up about 45 points. This is seven days in a row gains as we close in on a recor record. We achieved less in july. We are back in that territory already.
