Being they might not get it done at all. Welcome. Im neil cavuto. This is your world. Tom holman on how he sees all of this going down in just a moment. First, mike emanuel on capitol hill. Theyre trying to scramble and get this done. Easier said than done. President trump made the case several times this afternoon, the need for humanitarian relief money is huge. If we can get this bill signed, we can do it. The democrats dont want to sign anything. Now i think theyre going to probably sign this from what i understand. I call it humanitarian aid. This is not even about border. The senate has a bipartisan bill which passed out of the committee 301. Mitch mcconnell says democrats are using stall tactics. Im rather surprised that the democratic leader seems to be willing to do that but not until friday. Its obvious that he feels the need to shut the senate down in effect for a couple days in order to accommodate all of the members of his conference that are reasoning for president. The house has a different bill which needed a tweak after hearing complaints from the liberal base. Nancy pelosi gave her members the hard sell this morning after her lieutenants are noting the need for action. There is a humanitarian crisis at the border. Theres children that are being held in unspeakable conditions. These are gods children. President trump has threatened to veto the house measure. So the senate bill is likely the only one that can get passed before lawmakers leave for the Independence Day recess. Neil . Neil thanks very much that Senate Measure is not a boon to many democrats. Doesnt address the children of illegals in this country whose there no fault of their own are stuck in a Twilight Zone in this country. Demands here that it would call for 500 judges to be put to the border to adjudicate some of these cases. Democrats are saying that isnt the problem, just recognizing some of the other immigration issues is. To the former acting ice direct or the, tom holman trying to make sense of this. You know, im looking at this, to make the president s deadline of a couple weeks to delay deportations, that could prove problematic. What do you think brings them together . I dont think that democrats are going to bring a solution to the table that is acceptable. I heard the Democratic Congress spoke about the deplorable conditions in the facility but he should have finished that saying the democrats are responsible for this surge of unaccompanied children coming to the country because we have refused to close the loop holes weve been asking for 1 1 2 years that entices them to come. In fy19 appropriations bill that stopped the government shut down, the democrats added language where ice couldnt take action against a parent or sponsor that had their child smuggled into the country and i said when that bill got signed, the unaccompanied children would sky rocket. Nobody is accountable. They have a big piece of this problem by taking ice out of the game and having no consequence for the children to keep coming. Neil one of the ideas that is in senator grahams bill that would provide 500 new immigration justices that would be placed at the border to adjudicate, to deal with these cases and quickly move on. Theres no guarantee that they would all be a signed to the border. Criticism in the past has been those assigned to the border go somewhere else. How much would that relieve some or the administrative pressure . Huge. Ive been saying on fox net wok for six months, if i was in the administration, forget about the 800,000 backlogged. Forget about it. Put it back on the shelf. Send every judge to the border and deal with those coming in right now. Last in, first out. Deal with these people right now. If you dont have a quick hearing, 90 based on the current data will be put on an airplane and sent home and that will cause the numbers to drop. I think its a great idea. Let the backlog sit there. Its going to be there anyway. Send the judges to the border. Neil this got weirder with just the number of kids coming to the border. In many cases being used as pawns. Showing up by themselves or with adults that werent their parents. The graham measure from what i understand would allow the kids to stay with their parents through this process up to 100 days, but im wondering if that could be a good or bad thing, whether it would encourage more to either bring their kids, use kids. What do you think . No, i think its another great idea. In fy15 when this first started happening, i built the first family detention center. We had 100 beds. We held these families long enough to see a judge. Took 40, 45 days and their ordered removed. We filled a couple planes and sent them back. The numbers went down. It wasnt until judge gia of the ninth circuit said you cant hold them that long. The numbers skyrocketed again. Most will lose their case becaused on the data because theyre not applicable to the terms of asylum. They would be removed that would have a big impact. Neil the mexicans have indicated their willingness to have a lot of this done in mexico. So the process, the paperwork, whatever you want to call it, that is being done in mexico. Not in the United States. The advantage there were told is that it will dramatically reduce the numbers and with these added judges adjudicate them much more quickly. What do you think . I think theres a possibility there. Its good that mexico is offering this up. It will help. Ill wait to see how it happens. Nothing to stop them from saying, you know what . No thank you. Im going to go across illegally and they have to deal with me. Its worth following up on. It could help, yes. Neil the treatment of these children back and forth a lot of debate about it. One story that caught my eye about it. 21, 22yearold, knew anything about changing diapers. He had to get familiar with that. Thats not what a lot of these guys signed up for. Its drastically changed their job responsibility. Im wondering if that means that they have to be trained in this sort of stuff. Just seems unusual but theyre unusual times. First off, id like to see them hire licensed day care people that know children. I talk to these Border Patrol agents. I wasnt married. I didnt have children. I had my own agents say sir, im 23. I dont have children. This 3yearold, the diapers need to be changed. So i think the Border Patrol is doing a great job. They truly care about these children. Ive seen Border Patrol agents bring toys from their home to give them to these children. These men and women of the Border Patrol are american patriots doing the best they can. If congress will get off their butt and fund this supplemental so these children can be moved to a proper facility, that will sow a lot of issues. They offer the money to do this and at the same time theres language that ice can get data. Its extortion. Well give you money to help the families but were going to shut down immigration enforcement. No deal. The president needs to stand by his guns. The Border Patroller security chief sanders stepping down maybe in light of this. Tom, i know ive peppered you with this question. You were entertained as being a border czar. I dont know where that stands. Again, your name came up today in light of this. Anyone talking to you . Nobody has talked to me today. Look neil today. I will never say never. I came back from retirement for this president once. Ill go back for the third time. Im honored this president is the right time right circumstances. Nobody has talked to me today. I want to say sanders, american patriot, stepped up to take this difficult role on. We should thank him for his service. He served this country many years. Thank him for his service. Well have to wait and see. We have to recognize these men and women that get beat up by Congress Every day, called out in the media. I had 80 protesters at my house on a sunday morning. These people are not getting rid but a lot of hate for trying to defend this nation. Thank you for serving this nation, mr. Sanders. Neil thanks, time. I appreciate it very much. Thank you. Neil to the other crisis right now. Iran. Youve heard about the nasty back and forth between iranian officials and the president of the United States. Lets just say if there was any bloom on the rose, its gone. Now the question is what is next . The president making it clear given the responses that hes been given from iran, the allowances are over. The question is what does he intend to do about the iranians. Kristin fisher with more. Hi, kristin. Hi, neil. About an hour ago, President Trump was asked what message do you have for an iran after a series of blistering statements from iranian officials overnight. Heres what he said. Theres no message. The message is, when theyre ready to act, let us know. When theyre ready, theyll let us know. Irans Foreign Ministry session they will never be ready to negotiate now that the president has imposed new sanctions on the Supreme Leader and foreign minister calling the moves a permanent closure to the path of diplomacy. The iranians said the president was afflicted by mental retardation. The president called that insulting and ignorant. Now, the new face of the right house for this crisis and many others has just been announced. Stephanie grisham will replace press secretary sarah sanders. In addition to that title, she will take on the job of White House Communications director, a job that has been vacant for quite some time. Grisham started with the first ladys communication director and now working for the east and the west wing. The first lady loves her. Thinks shes been just incredible. Very talented. I ask so many people who do you like . A lot of people wanted the job. A lot of people wanted to do it. Id ask, who do you like . So many people said stephanie. Shes here. She knows everybody. She gets along with the media very well, as you know. A lot of folks in the media like her very much. I think shes going to do a great job. I offered it and she accepted. So grisham is in, sanders is out. Sanders last day is in friday. Kneel . Neil thanks, Kristin Fisher at the white house. Back to iran. The president making clear in these exchange of nasty tweets whatever the iranian version is, i dont need congressional approval to strike iran going on to say the threats of force would be overwhelmingly fierce. Jerry boykin joins me right now. I dont know the procedure. If he didnt use force in response to the drone downing, would he have to wait for another provocative act to act on that or could he have a delayed response to the drone thing . Yeah, i think that the law and precedent is in his favor here in terms of being able to respond to this. That was a u. S. Drone that was shot down. I think there could be a delayed reaction. I think the president will do everything he can short of capitulation to avoid having to go in to an Armed Conflict with iran. Neil he was planning a strike. It was cancelled with minutes to spare. Were told it was because he was made aware of how many iranians would likely tie, i think 150. Would he weigh that as much now or given the iranians bellicose resuppose pretty much all day today, would he be recalibrating . What we dont know is what the Intelligence Community is telling the president. So the answer is i dont know. I think he did a very good thing when he cancelled that strike. Because i think that he realized from what he was told by the Intelligence Community that the situation internally in iran is very delicate. The people are not happy with their government. The people are very upset about being having sharia imposed on them and were it not for the Iranian Revolutionary guard corps, which is very powerful, they probably would have risen up for a regime change. What he should not do is unite them by attacking and killing iranians if it is avoidable. Neil general, im curious why iran would behaving the way it is . They still have a lot of money from the iranian deal and they got the pallets of cash. Maybe they have a lot of that left over. Maybe theyre impervious to sanctions, new or otherwise. Maybe they have someone helping them behind the scenes, china, russia, what have you. It is not the normal response youd think in this environment with half of our fleet in the neighborhood and the president who is ready to take to it the next level, its not what you would think they would be doing or acting. Well, yeah, keep in mind though, theres a lot of bluster here. The iranians have been down this road before as has america. Remember back in the 80s, the late 80s, we went in there and reflagged ships coming through the straits of hormuz with american registry. That is if they attacked that ship, they attacked america. We escorted ships. Youll see that unfolding here in the next few weeks unless the iranians come back to the table. The alternative for the iranians, if they dont want to talk to the trump administration, what is the alternative . They list with sanctions. The sanctions get worse. Right now they have sanctions that are crippling them. Ive talked to people inside tehran. Theyre hurting them a lot and the people are growing more and more uneasy with their environment and their situation. Neil they must have a Suicide Mission theyre on. But well see. General, thanks very much. By the way, this was weighing on the corner of wall and broad. Among other things. The dow down about 179 points here. Theres talk that the Federal Reserve is worried about the economy, the effects of trade and all that and that it will cut interest rates. This time it sunk in to the point that we raised. If theyre cutting, theres a reason for that. Maybe wall street was focused on the reason. Well have more after this. If you live with diabetes, why fingerstick when you can scan . The president signing an executive order kind of designed to do just that. To pressure Healthcare Providers to be more transparent about the costs down to the aspirin youre taking. I dont know if youve been to the hospital, the aspirin is about 400. Exaggerating. But you never know. Indiana republican and a member of the Senate Health committee, mike braun. Good to have you here. Good to be on. Neil very good to have transparency. I think its all in the right direction. So why the reaction for many in the Health Community . This is long overdue. In my own company, i took the Insurance Companies on ten years ago. Its amazing what light and trans and getting your employees engaged as active consumers will do. I made a promise to my employees that if you work with me, ill hold your premiums flat. Theyve not had an increase in ten years. When you emphasize wellness, not remediation and get people involved to the same degree as buying a big screen tv or even shopping for groceries. Its so transparent, the information is so available in other industries. Health Insurance Industry has led, the other big players have gone with it to make it opaque and arcane and clumsy. Im the president said with full force thats going to end. Neil im wondering, senator, lets say this is very transparent. You know what youre getting into. Do you think its going to change the behavior of people who are covered by insurance, they usually dont ask about the costs of an mri or ask about the cost of a cat scan because their insurance covers it and breeds this indifference to rocketing medical costs. So to be fair, the costs are not rocketing as much as they were. But youre paying for it with your insurance. This wont change. That behavior doesnt change. A good point there. Back when i made that change, i created the real incentive to where you had skin in the game from dollar one. There was some complaining about it when people were used to that paternalistic system. There was no incentive to shop around and look for bargains. I made an agreement with my employees to help cut costs when they became heavylifting consumers. It can work. The Health Patient risk is everybody says they love it but its because they have very little skin in the game. Neil youre right. They dont pay much in premiums. Unless you have the willingness to create that, all the transparency in the world wont make any difference if you use it as a consumer. That goes with it. Neil youre right. I dont think its a republican or democratic issue. I tell people, if youre a consum consumer, you want this. Everybody was all for putting calorie counts on the menus so people knew what they were taking in. I would think Something Like this a lot more important would be crucial, too. What do you think of ultimately this becoming a permanent thing, wherever they go for basic medical procedures, drugs. You cant cover everything. I understand that. This a permanent standard in american health. I advise the healthcare industry, pharma, doctors, the Insurance Companies have to change. It will take another session to go over that. But if it doesnt happen, the industry will have one business partner. His name is Bernie Sanders and medicare for all and everybody will regret it when it happens. I tell the industry, are you that thickheaded . The president is now out doing executive orders. Ive been doing it since i took him on ten years ago as a state legislature, tried to do transparency bills. Post the medicare pricing to your charges so theres a comparison. Bust open the third party agreements. Couldnt get a hearing. Three, four years down the road, that has changed. Employers are getting fed up mostly because that sounds good, but were paying the bill and the consumer will have to start participating with some skin in the game. Use of transparency, start knocking costs down and we must have the best of both worlds and yes, it may stick. Neil people will be shocked to find out the costs of this stuff. Thank will. Neil thank you, senator. Thank you. Neil free market and free stuff. The president already making an issue for the 2020 campaign. Now, will it be one for the democrats for a different reason . Yes, its a big race to who can give away the most and raise taxes the most. Rates wont go up just because of an accident. Smart kid. Indeed. Are you in good hands . Neil had it with the robo calls . Our government has a plan to stop it. Well see if it works in 60 seconds. With all that usaa offers why go with anybody else . We know their rates are good, we know that theyre always going to take care of us. It was an instant savings and i should have changed a long time ago. Were the tenneys and were usaa members for life. Call usaa to start saving on insurance today. Neil they say tax us more. What do you think of that . Well, they trust the government more than i do. I cant tell you how much money we are giving away. My foundation has given away over 2 billion. I would rather give it away than have some congressman give it away. I have no trouble paying taxes provided its used to redeem the futures of the young people today. What the hell am i doing . What is bernie doing getting Social Security . We shouldnt get a check. Fix it. Make that happen. Neil all right. Combine there about 700 years old. Kidding. But bernie marcus, ken langone, the founders of home depot were with me. They were very popular. A lot of people watched that. A lot of young people intrigued by the rich for paying more taxes. They would be open to that but they want to see how the government will spend that. Lets get the read from market watcher, tim anderson and art hogan and kelly jane torrence. One of the things they said is a lot of the democrats lining up are targeting rich guys, the billionaires and millionaires saying they have to pay their fair share. These guys are saying maybe they should be as creative when it comes to spending. What did you think of that . A great point. We focus in these president ial elections on the revenue. What about where is it going . Democrats have grand ideas for what theyre going to do with taxpayer money president. Heres some guys saying i know what better to do with any money than you do. I have programs. I have given money to young people. A great point. The government gives money to people that dont need it. Bernie sanders does not need a Social Security check. So its a great point that these guys, theyre not saying hey, we want our money for ourselves. We want to go swim in a. Theyre saying they want to help the young people. We have ideas how to do it. Neil some of them do. Tim, the president has said this is what you want, an approach from a lot of democrats, not all of them, but theyre recommending hiking taxes on at least the wealthy and some go further with a tax on trade, wealth tax. The president says this is what you get if im defeated. He talked about a market crash. Do you buy that . The marks would take a significant hit to the down side what he means by a crash is probably up for debate. Clearly the market would have a violent reaction to the down side. Neil what do you think, art . I go back to what ken langone was talking about. A great interview. Shouldnt we have means testing for the entitlements . Thats something out there for a while. A great deal of sense. Show that we can spend the money in a very much more efficient fashion and youll its easier for people like warren buffet and ken langone that said yeah, tax me more but lets make sure were efficient in the way we spend our money. Neil i assume you dont think we are. Some of the creativitity. Bernie sanders with a tax on trade and all that. You think that that would change Investment Strategy . People might not be inclined to not be involved in the market . Interesting. A lot of studies that have been done on taxing Financial Transactions. As a matter of fact, hong kong has had one for a while. They have. Volumes have been down 10 since i started. Im sure theres better places to find revenues than necessarily saying hey, lets go after the Financial Services. What you forget is, were still going to need the capital formation. Anybody that impairs that at this point in time is not going to help us as we go forward. Some combination of having a realistic budgets that we can stick to and making sure that were efficient in the way we spend our money and come up with other creative ways to raise money. I dont think a broad sweeping Financial Services tax will work. Weve seen that. Its had some failures across the globe. Neil if i could switch gears quickly, guys. Kelly jane, a bullet response from you. The idea that the Federal Reserve is likely to cut rates and people are digesting that on wall street and thinking if they cut rates, theyre worried about something. What did you think of this very big 180 on the part of wall street to reconsider the impact of that . Kind of a nowin situation. If they werent going to, things looks great. If they are, things look bad. The market hates uncertainty. A lot of uncertainty going on right now. The fed knows that and probably going to wait as well. Wait to see what happens in the g20, iran and oil. A lot of unknowns. Neil tim, if you think if we dont get a chinese deal, this could be months away. Is wall street ready for that . You think the economy is ready for that . I think the market has very realistic expectations out of the g20. The market will react positively if we come out of there and the feeling is that we had a very productive conversation, were going to keep talking. Were going to go back on the track of reaching some type of an agreement. Hopefully by the end of the year. I really dont think the market expects a deal to be made just between trump and xi at the g20. Neil art, the iran wild cart. What do you think of that . I think thats one of the hardest things to predict but the least economic. As we look at this and say what is the greatest concern that will raise Spike Oil Prices . Were much more concerned about the g20 and getting back to the negotiating table and getting something done with trade war. Neil thank you, tim, kelly jane. Up 180 this year. Obviously facebook considering something in this field as well. Something is jiving here. What is it . Youre so right about that. Something big is jiving here. This wasnt my idea. A bunch of young entrepreneurs by the way, theyre in their 20s. They make me feel so old. They came up with this idea of a competing currency. You have facebook out there with their new product that will be unveiled sometime very soon with billions of dollars behind it. What i love about it, im a limited government guy. I dont like the government having the power. The past several years, governments have controls of currencies. With the new technologies, you have competing currencies that are private. Government doesnt like this. The sec and the Federal Reserve board and the commodities futures and other International Bodies want to regulate neil its the unknown effect on the markets. If you have a rival currency and i dont know. You cant decipher where the money is coming or whatever. They say its an open opportunity to hurt existing currencies, namely the dollar. Opens up the way for nefarious groups like terrorists and the mob to secretly do Financial Transactions and the like. Let me take on the first one. I think that having a competing currency is great. Precisely because it was keep the government currencies honest. Lets look at the venezuelan peso. Nobody wants to hold pesos right now. Youll have wheelbarrows full of them to buy anything. This is an action to make sure the currencies whether the dollar or the peso is not zigzagging up and down. This could be the new internet. You could see all sorts of Financial Transactions neil why is the Federal Reserve so worried about it . They dont want the competition. Neil if you run the Federal Reserve and this came up, theyre assembling these teams to look into this. They are. Neil theyre worried. Why . They dont like competition. Why one Grocery Store doesnt want another store down the street. Thats precisely what i love about it. Look, theres concerns about things like money laundering. Thats the argument that keeps being made. You know, look, this is not for illegal transactions. This is basically to have the ability to make transactions without the government knowing what youre doing all the time. Part of it is financial privacy. Because you or i might want financial privacy doesnt me have between criminals. Neil there is that. Well see what happens its the next big thing, neil. Neil they attached your name to it. Something is going on here. Steve moore from the heritage foundation, economist and who kn knows. The government is launching a crackdown on robo calls. I want to draw your attention to a development on capitol hill concerning the First Responders that just wrapped up. These are the 911 First Responders that had a meeting with Mitch Mcconnell. Theyre talking about that right now. Police officer mat mccully, nypd, the fdny. Theres ben from the 911 health watch. Listen, we had a great meeting with Mitch Mcconnell. It was productive. Mitch mcconnell made a commitment to the 911 community and my team leaders that will be passing the house in july and avote in november. We want it as soon as possible to get the Senate Majority leaders commitment means a lot. Means that well work now together, republicans and democrats and the advocates to ensure that those affected at all three terror sites, all of those affected by the toxins and respiratory illnesses will get the help they deserve. These men and women, the children of Lower Manhattan are sick and dying and the families being left in financial ruins. This bill will offer that relief to thousands of men and women across our country because they came together on september 11th in the days and weeks after. Now congress has a chance to take our worst days, our worst weeks and worst months and 18 years of pain and suffering and make it their finest hour. We dont care how they do it. We want it done. To get his commitment today and all of them in this meeting heard it, were satisfied. Are we happy . No. Were were were going to leave here and luis alvarez will die. In that meeting we gave Senate Majority leader Mitch Mcconnell luis alvarezs badge. We wanted the Senate Majority leader to be reminded of people like detective luis alvarez. So hes got his badge now. If he strays from his commitment, then well go back into attack mode. For now, were going to put down our swords and pick up our rakes and were going to farm and be with our friends that are sick and dying. If you want to ask questions, well take them. [question inaudible] that was discussed. I think in august it wouldnt be attached to anything that question. We expect a stand alone. [question inaudible] no but were going to make sure it is. We want to be left alone. We want to leave this time not like 2010 and 2015. We want to go out with a little dignity. We want this bill on the floor by itself for a straight up and down vote without any amendments or being tied down by some crazy in the middle of the country that doesnt get it. We want to be left alone after that. If they try to weigh it down, these men, these guys are pitbulls. These guys right here are the reason why were here today. They were the team leaders for 10, 30, 40, 50 per team that were walking the halls of congress. Over 1,700 meetings the last decade and a half. Thats why were here today. Lindsey graham and the Senate Majority leader and everybody open both sides of the aisle, nobody wants to deal with these guys. Look at them. Theyre not pretty. What did the majority leader tell you . Are you frustrated . Yeah, im frustrated. Im angry. Im a ball of emotions right now. When i get angry, i cry. Ive been to 181 funerals. Im about to go to 182. Yeah, its frustrating when you see a dysfunctional body of work that promises to fix the problems and they dont work it out with speed. Most people in america have something that they believe in. They have a cause. Everybody should have a cause. A lot of them dont want to go to their State Capitol because they dont think theyll get anywhere. I have a mindset different of others. They work for us. The chairs that they put their asses in, the pens that they use, the pens that they write on, we put for that stuff. Thats us. They work for us. Mitch mcconnell works for us. He work for you guys. Today Mitch Mcconnell promised to work for us. Im going to take him for his word. Was there anything that he brought up of any concern . No. Today we challenged his humanity and he passed. What would the passage of this bill mean and the First Responders that have passed . They didnt well, they didnt die in vain. Those that walked the halls like ray pfifer, they efforts didnt die in vain. This took a village, this is a small percentage. These are the people that i brought down, 30, 40, 60 people per trip. And then those that signed petitions and those that made phone calls to elected officials. The leaders of the union. This literally took a village to get 535 people to get their stuff together. Its that simple. Im sorry if im cursing. If i dont curse, ill cry. I dont want to cry. All i think about is luis. Im sorry. Was it confrontational . No. Our meetings in 2011 were heated and emotional. This was more laid back. Relaxed. Relaxed. We came in substantive. We covered every issue that we thought we could cover. He actually sat for this one. The other ones he was quick to get up and leave his staff with us. He asked the right questions. We answered the right questions. We are happy with the outcome. Did you ask why he changed . Did he indicate what it was . Because were pain in the asses. We dont go away. You have to ask the Senate Majority leader. I was it jon stewart or luis alvarezs testimony . I dont think Mitch Mcconnell changed overnight. I think the issue is bigger than Mitch Mcconnell, bigger than me, bigger than all of us, this is a generationlong battle. Even if they passed the ball at 5 00 p. M. Today, people will still get sick and die from the aftermath of 911. The object, the whole time, was to offer relief. The federal government lied on september 16 and said yeah, the air is safe to breathe. The water is safe to drink. They lied to us. We have to fight to the people that passed the legislation. So if youre common sense thinking people, wrap your arms around that by the way, you lied to me but can you help me now . We played the game. Weve done this a long time. Its not a game. Its our lives were talking about. What about the funding for current plans . Did he address that . Thats in the statute of the special master put it out on the cards. If youre cut 50 or 60 now and the bill gets cut, you would get a second check and made whole again. Those experiencing the cuts, im imploring them to fight, keep a roof over your head and help is on its way. Were going to get this done. You sound confident you wont have to come back. No, we have more trips ahead of us. We have to make sure listen, in 2015, we had 70 co sponsors in the senate. We had 290 in the house. We have 60 in the senate and 327 in the house. What is wrong with that . Because last time i checked, theres 435 members in the house and 100 in the senate. Did they want to impress us . There would be 535 cosponsors and would put away their affiliation and got off of their white milky asses [question inaudible] theyre idiots. Theyre not anybody that calls them a fiscal hawk or conservative, we spent trillions with this administration. Im not going to get into the politics of that. Were sick and dying. Were all going to die. Were not stupid. Weve been doing this long enough. We came down here, the seven of us, hopeful that Senate Majority leader would work with us, support us. We came out of that meeting, all seven of us thankful that he did. He showed us that hes not only going to have our back but have the american publics back and most importantly for us the 911 communitys back. So were happy. If i can say for the first time, he said he sensed the urgency and he used that term himself. He understands that this is a Successful Fund and doing great work. Unfortunately theres more people sick than the money that exists in the fund currently. He understands that. Like jon said earlier, his promise to us that he would bump this up to august is earlier than even we had expected. Now, he said not to get involved he said not to get involved in the nuances. He said leave it to them. Thats what were going to do. Were going to leave the politics up to them. He promised us its going to happen. Like john said, somebody asked earlier, are we going to keep dumbing coming down coming down here. The work comes from the people who have to come here and tell their stories. If Mitch Mcconnell says i need your help, i need you to talk to this person, then were going to talk to this person. Like john said, it should be 100 participation in the house and senate. He sat down with us and we had a nice discussion and we went through the issues and he understood this was important to folks and he said there are people out there who are dying. That was the point where john gave him luis alvarezs shield and he appreciated it. Reporter what about did he make a commitment . With that being said, our conversation was republicans and democrats worked it out, agree on something and then bring it to us and well let you know if we agree with it. We have a number in our head. Were not going to share it with everybody. The average age of the 9 11 responder was 38 years old. You had 12 schools in the geographic zone. Neil you are witnessing something historic when it comes to civic power and responsibility. The 9 11 First Responders bill now looks like a reality about to happen, after these brave men and women who represent and they themselves are part of the 9 11 rescue people who volunteered to help on that tragic day in the days and weeks and months that followed. Moore had died of exposure to toxins that werent killed in the attacks themselves. Wrapping up meeting with Mitch Mcconnell. One of the best meetings we never had, determined. Apologize for some of the salty language you mightve heard. It represents a huge victory for these men spurred on by jon stewart and others saying do not ignore their plight, do not ignore their health, do not ignore their pain. Appears republicans and democrats agree that they cant and they wont and this could be put up for a vote in august. Here comes the the five. Jesse hello, im Jesse Watters with kennedy, juan williams, tom shillue. Dana perino. The five. Greg is out today but he wrote this monologue which was so good we just had to salvage it. Heres my best attempt at being greg gutfeld. By my math, each candidate in tomorrows debate gets 11 seconds of talk time which may be 11 seconds too much. Heres proof. I will be bold without the bold. Jesse that was
