Ungulfed in a scandal over racially charged images and in the case of Lieutenant Governor, alleged sexual assault. Its not just democrats now. Republican senator issuing this statement. The issue of black face is abhorrent in our society. Of one of seven working on a 359page year book. I cannot associate myself with every photo entry or word on each page. He said the richmond dismatch that he didnt appear in the photos and didnt take the racially offensive photos but on and on we go. The photos in question in this case cover the 1968 Virginia Military Institute Year book. It follows on the heels of other allegations of other controversial issues that trans invented the parties and have people asking what is it with virginia . This is a crucial state politically. Its 13 electoral votes are highly prized. Recent years, its gone very democratic. Howard franklin is here, ned ryan is here with us. Steph, ill begin with you. Your take on this widening scandal or controversy. The pecking order of those that would replace Governor Northam if he were to resign is getting few and far between. Where do we stand . Thats it. Were seeing calls from not even just republicans, but some democrats. We saw the Washington Post Editorial Board came out today with a piece saying that Governor Northam should resign not only because of the photo but his shifting explanation. The Bigger Picture is what its doing to the party and to virginia as a state. Were seeing these two after him now falling under fire as well. Its creating a lot of controversy. I think the next few days, its going to be hard for someone like the governor to govern the state in a position like this. Neil this governor could say given the controversies of the backup and backup to him who would take over and the fact that right now theyre hardly in a position to take over, he has a little wiggle room. Doesnt he, howard . He probably does have a bit more wiggle room than he had two or three days before. Lets remember, he did not or has not signalled any willingness to step aside in the first place. All thats going on, the admission by the attorney general and the allegations around Lieutenant Governor certainly, you know, have thrown everything into chaos. Neil that i was thinking through on this that even if the governor were to resign, theres no guarantee that the Lieutenant Governor could just step in or even following him, you know, whether you would have the attorney general in a position to step in as well because hes controversial on his own. So the fourth guy, most likely, like a pez dispenser here, kirk cox, the speaker, hes republican. You know, in control of the Virginia House of delegates. But i doubt democrats would be interested in letting that happen. So where are we here . Well, i think at this point, the entire parade of pitch forks and torches, everybody calling for northam to resign hit pause. If northam were to go and fairfax were to go and herring were to go, of course its a republican. Right now democrats are trying to figure out how do they keep political power. Ive heard of them talking about herring resigning, the deputy a. G. Replacing him and everybody else resigning. She is a democrat. She would become governor. Id remind people of a couple things. First of all, if the virginia voters had known of these facts in october of 2017, do we really think these guys would have won . Im convinced that ed gillespie would have won. If the virginia voters had been fully educated on these facts, i dont think they would have won. The second thing to keep in mind, neil, theres fall elections here in virginia. Every last state senator, 40 of them, are up for reelection. The important part, theyll all be in place when redistricting happens. So democrats neil which is next year. Democrats shot themselves in the foot. Neil one of the things that i wanted and maybe you can help with, this notion that it could hurt democrats. Of course, now that you have tommy norment, the Senate Majority leader, not in the Succession Plan for governor, is that a way for the democrats to say its on both parties. Certainly not but the numbers. But this will ease the friction on them. What do you honestly, theyre in such a precarious situation. Right now what really needs to happen is theyre being shown people taking responsibility for this. Theyre trying to punt the message off to the other party wont be effective. They might try. Im not really sure what their strategy is. Theyre still trying to figure out, a lot of people are calling for resignations, others saying hey, can we judge them by something that theyve done in the past. Not everyone can live in glass houses. At the same time, weve seen not even look what happened with megyn kelly. She wasnt you dont have to wear it, her comments about questioning why it was offensive got her show cancelled. I think here it does seems like there will have to be some sort of reckoning to save the party. Neil howard, are democratic strategists here, is it your sense that, you know, virginia is where three seats flipped and helped gain democrats the house of representatives. As the dynamics changed enough to put the state in play more than what we once thought for 2020 . What do you think . I think we got to keep in mind the state has always been in play. Yes, democrats have had recent success. We should push back on this idea that democrats have scrambled on power. Weve had elected officials, namely women, harris and gillibrand who are also president ial candidates neil the issue right now is this state. Are they in trouble in this state . I think were a little ways from the election to say theyre in trouble. Folks might say the same thing about donald trump. Its a question of issue. The leaders in the state house will rally. Neil well see what happens. Every politician worth any salt is scrambling, looking at their high school and college year books as we speak. Thanks very much. Thanks, neil. Neil democrats are launching their first hearing to the president s tax returns. Top republican on that committee is saying really . Not so fast. After this. Great news, Liberty Mutual customizes uh uh i deliver the news around here. Sources say Liberty Mutual customizes your car insurance, so you only pay for what you need. Over to you, logo. Liberty. They want to know the facts. He has nothing to hide. Neil overwhelming . I havent talked to anybody that mentioned the president s tax returns. Nancy pelosi is convinced that the public will is on her side and democrats side as they try to get these tax returns once and for all. This time to go back in business connections in some cases that could go back decades, this is what is happening right now on capitol hill where the hearing is going on as we speak to try to address this issue to get to the bottom of it. Democrats say to get their little hands on those tax returns. Thats the goal. Mike emanuel, capitol hill with the latest. Hi, mike. Good afternoon. President trump is calling it president ial harassment. You have adam schiff of california saying he intends to launch multiple investigations into the president. Mr. Schiff saying he will not be intimidated or threatened by attacks. This hour, the house ways and means subcommittee is looking into President Trumps tax returns. The subcommittee chair said basically every president going back to Richard Nixon has released their returns. I hope that we will continue the good and thoughtful work on behalf of the american taxpayers. We have been called. We have been chosen to lead at this time in our history. The republican concern were hearing is lawmakers may go to far. Congress is prohibited by law of making private tax returns for political purposes. Such an abuse of power would open a pandoras box and set a dangerous precedent. The question is where does it end . This tax hearing has been mild so far. You can expect fireworks to fly in upcoming hearings going forward, neil. Neil mike emanuel on the capitol here. A selloff today that might have started with this little exchange. Take a look. The president has indicated hes optimistic with respect to a potential china trade deal. But, but, weve got a pretty sizable distance to go here. To quote a colleague of mine. We have miles to go before we sleep. Neil that but, but, in other words, theyre not having anything immediate or the signs of a deal are immediate. Once larry kudlow told that to stuart varney, they were selling and they kept selling. We were down to begin with. We paired some of the losses because we were off over 300 points. The bottom line, how likely a trade deal will be and if were to get the knee jerk reaction today, not likely. Deidra bolton is here. What happened . Well, that but but, as you said, even quoting poetry . Makes us anxious. The implication is that the chinese president xi and President Trump wont be meeting. As blake burman points out, just because theyre not meeting in person doesnt mean they cant have a phone call, right . We did see that at one of the last rounds or one of the neil turned things around. Exactly. They spoke on the phone and they seemed to at least come to some sort of common understanding. Of course, the way the market reacted, its like you could have dropped a stone. If you looked at deer or caterpillar, these economically sensitive stocks reacted. Neil trade sensitive. Yes. Neil another thing that interested me there in the comments, the meeting isnt immediate. They cant put a final stamp on this until the two leaders write off on it. So the meeting is delayed on the phone or otherwise. That means the china trade deal is delayed. It seems if the two president s dont speak or just status quo, in theory, new tariffs on chinese goods kick in. Neil march 1. March 1. Up 10 . Neil is there any chance youre hearing that the administration, if it was sensing progress would push that back . I think theres so much room for maneuvering here. Our sources for the moment are saying that this is todays conversation, but as we have seen between the u. S. And china, theres a lot at stake for both countries. These the worlds two largest economies. As we pointed out, as much as it makes our investors nervous as we saw from the markets today, theyre really being encouraged. Theyre slowing. Neil slowing town a lot. We got confirmation that europe is slowing. The European Commission put out a survey said they expect growth to be cut in half. They cited trade tensions. Might have been an excuse. Theres a concern about a global slow down. I think so. We have to keep the recent gains in context as well. We got zapped from europe, a similar statement from the u. K. Saying the economy is not as strong as we hoped at this particular moment and this follows, you know, good five or sixweek run that we had, which follows 9. 5 years that weve had of good runs. So i mean, at some point, yes, theres days where people sell. Listen, this is the same team as we followed throughout 2018, which was anything that happened that seems like it would set us and china apart on these trade issues, intellectual property, forced intellectual property transfer, that made our markets sell off. Neil and the thing that helps us, theyre hurting. Were not. Money might find its way here when they calm down, they say. Fingers yeah. Neil all right. Jolten deidra bolton. Dont think she minds that. Sounds good. The dow down as we said about 220 points here. Had been worse. Elizabeth warren in the news. Okay. I think it has very little to do with our live show every saturday at 10 00 to 12 00 on this fine channel. Shes going to make it official. Shes ready to run for president. Along the way, weve had this native american dustup. How many places did she use that either in a texas bar or get into an elite school. Its the issue that wont go away from her. Nan hayward, Scott Levinson and our fox news contributor, kat timpf. This is a constant with her. Neil yeah. It should be. Its super messed up and super weird. Im a white person. I lived my life living like a white person. I dont pretend to be anything but white. I cant imagine being liz bet warren saying, you know what . I can run for president. I have the confidence to run. I cant imagine it. People need to keep hitter her on this. When we talk about cultural appropriation. Some kids are busted for wearing sombreros for thats not accurate. Every day you see commercials on tv where people grew up thinking their lineage was one thing or another. They take a test and find out something shes lied about it to get ahead. The fact is, she had the history was brought down from her family. She had an understanding of what her lineage was. She tested it and found out it was not the case. Millions are testing for their lineage every day. Neil my issue isnt with the lineage. My issue is shes misrepresented it. If she was under the belief that she had a certain lineage neil i know. Did she say she used that before on the texas bar and you know, once you confuse people i know. She probably had the most attended inauguration in mystery. Probably colluded with the russians and its probably her hair. Theres enough neil i knew it. I knew it. Were told that this was not used in any other venue or to get any other sort of favor. This texas bar thing raises an issue she avoided it. What other venues did you use it. There may be shes uniquely to this date distinctly caught up in the identity politics of the democratic party. She wants to claim her piece of the identity pie. Right now she checks one box. Shes a woman. The democrats like to see you check as many boxes as possible. Heres the problem. Scott, although its true, i dont fault her for family lore that she believed in 1986 when she applied to the texas bar. When she made fanfare about she had to hire a genealogist from stanford because the usual commercial test didnt demonstrate enough for her. She had this big fanfare. Look, i am related to the first nation. Its not even american indian. Neil isnt that she, you know, applied for anything using the native american label is that she said she right. Why . Why would you say you didnt . She could have easily said what you said. Sorry i thought i was but i wasnt. Thats write i wrote it down. She said i never used it. Thats not true. No, no. She said she has used it in tons of ways of identifying herself neil i dont remember hearing that. She said she had not. She originally said no, i didnt use it to advance myself. Doesnt say how she was advantaged neil i use the Italian American thing to get where i am. Im only here because im polish. Neil, we believe you. Neil you know politics well. Youve saturday in congress. Is this the kind of stuff in a crowded field that will, you know, kick her to the side . I dont know if thats right. It just is what it is. Neil, i think it will. Even though Elizabeth Warren and i know from having been on finance services, she has a formidable reputation for the kins of constitutionalized arrogance on policy that the democrats are favoring this year. She has a big identity problem. This primary season will be a season of ideas. The fact that Elizabeth Warren that can bring ideas like universal healthcare to the table and allow to us debate that neil you worry that is lost because of this . Feel look at a crowded field and they almost want to cancel someone i do worry this is a distraction to her message. She has a message neil like the Russian Investigation with trump. Its a terrible distraction. Than they have plenty of candidates with the same policy. And they know what race that are, which is helpful. Neil real quick. We have to break here. We live in a time where things weve said and did that go back decades come back to bite us. Whether its year books or is that what this is going to be . Id like to think its not, neil, but i think were still going through this massive Political National convulsion about these things that has yet to be resolved. The democrats, because theyre the party of identity, are really in the center of this malstrom. We have people in Good Behavior and bad behavior. And warren has been dishonest. We judge people according to the strength of their character. Neil i have your year book here, scott. Doesnt look good. I think were all right on that. A couple of things i can guarantee without looking at photos. Neil thanks very much, guys. Seriously. Very interesting discussion. Well have more of these discussions here. Democrats were going after the president s tax returns today. They want to go back decades, too. A lot of decades from the very, very beginning of the trump empire. The read from the ranking member, kevin brady on that after this. Oh oh oh ozempic® announcer people with type 2 diabetes are excited about the potential of onceweekly ozempic®. Neil hide your travel plans. Here comes a Green New Deal. The flip side is, its going to cost you a lot of green. Were back in 60 seconds. Neil all right. This Committee Hearing looking into donald trump and whether they can get their hot hands on his taxes. Part of what is happening right now. Its going to be a busy year for this group. Very different from when this fellow headed it where there was a different direction. Now hes the ranking member, kevin brady. He joins us. Congressman, good to have you. Neil, thanks for having me. Neil first off on the tax thing that theyre looking for, democrats are looking for, they want to go back quite some time. Theyre they think they have a rationale for getting taxes that they have not been able to get up till now. What is it . They dont, this is not about the president releasing tax returns. This is about an abuse of power by congress. The law today protects individual taxpayers from congress examining them and making them public for purely partisan reasons. If democrats twist off and weaponize the tax code for purely partisan reasons, they set a very dangerous precedent. If congress, any congress, can rummage around in the tax returns of the president , what stops them from doing that for anyone they think neil so what rationale are they using for getting their hands on them now . They believe, seeing the tax returns, will help them identify any potential conflict of interests perhaps within tax code. Thats an easy answer. You can protect private taxpayers and still look at that. For instance, few people know that the president and Vice President are annually audited by the irs. Theyre subject to ethics reviews and investigation by the fbi. Thats already in place. Neil the irs has to look into any sort of business dealings and relationships as if the Vice President and the president are conducting official business, right . Absolutely. Its already there. If democrats want this president or future president s to disclose more types of information, then fine. We have an annual Financial Disclosure. We can by law say to any president or candidate, we want to know more about this. Thats a way to do it the right way. Not by weaponizing the tax code. Neil theyre going back wondering about whether he had business relationships that were nefarious or what have you. Do you think whatever justification that have that someone running for the highest office in the land and a grueling process and your life is an open book and examining your kids i dont know how you put up with it that you should provide your tax records . You should get it all out there . I dont think tax records are very inciteful revealing. Most of what that triggers is by expert as very thorough review trying to sort of glean what those relationships are. Its a really bad way of doing it. Neil theres a difference between your tax returns and someone like even the president of the United States who is a huge muckedy muck, you think theres value in a guy that wealthy im not saying anything untoward is going on but to get it out there . If there is, theres a better way of doing it than the tax returns. Change the Financial Disclosure neil you think Anyone Running for president , it should be required that they release their tax returns . You know, i dont know. Ill tell you in the past ive seen it as a gotyou game frankly. I dont think its been very revealing. The Financial Disclosures i keep coming back to that. Thats where you learn about the relationships, how much stakes you have in businesses, what are the relationships. If thats a goal, a legitimate goal, lets tackle that. Thats a fair way to do it. Neil the same time, theyre looking at raising taxes the ones you cut. How do you feel about that . Do we really want to go back to the old days where our economy was sub2 , jobs moving overseas, wages are stagnant . We think the economy can grow more and the wages can grow more. Washington doesnt have a revenue problem as you know. Its a spending problem. We ought to keep taxes low. Neil and you led this parade and i want to tip my hat to you on that. Thank you. Neil four out of ten minutes think the tax cuts were a good idea. I dont think thats correct. I ask what do you think of trumps tax cuts. It mirrors his approval rating. You talk about lowing the rates for everyone, doubling the child credits, the numbers turn around quickly. Thats what we find back home. Americans dont want washington to take more of what they worked so hard to earn. Neil all right. Kevin brady, an honor. Thanks very much. Thanks, neil. Neil we did reach out to the chairman of that fine committee as well. He declined for the time being. Hope springs eternal. Sears will live to sell another day. A bankruptcy judge approving the retailer to Eddie Lampert invested in it for 5. 2 billion. Sold for now. 425 Stores Remain open, 425,000 jobs are viable. Thats that. More after this. Neil i guess it sounded good on paper. Delta airlines is regretting the move. It tried to change this idea of, you know, you flying solo and maybe you can take off with somebody else. Its complicated here. All i know is its now a mess. Trace gallagher on how the company is trying to bounce back. And i dont think match. Com has to worry about cocacola cutting into their market share. They were diet coke napkins handed out on delta flights and encouraging passengers to flirt a little. They said on the napkin write down something and give to it your plane crush. The other side said because youre on a plane full of interesting people and you never know. Coke is in the process of rebounding itself. Looks like they bombed this one. A person tweeted, hey, delta and coke, the napkins are creepy as blank. They sure as heck dont want the number of someone gawking for hours on a plane today. Other people like the napkins. Delta has apologized and acknowledge this one missed the mark. Coke issued a statement saying i dont know. I think the new design should Say Something like have a coke and a smile or id like to buy the world a coke. Im thinking out loud here, neil. Jump in any time. Neil no. Im not going to volunteer anything. Not in this day and age. Trace, thank you. Incredible. I do think per traces report, the airlines have bigger thing to worry about. A Green New Deal is one to worry about. What would that mean to emissions from planes . Freshman Congress Woman ocasiocortez was asked about that today. What do you think about air travel . The Green New Deal. Do you have anything to say on the cost of that . So the resolution itself does not have a price tag on it, which is why we address each individual project on its own. Neil all right. Making money with Charles Payne is here. Fox Business Network star, Charles Payne. Part of her green deal we should explain is to pay for it will come from the airlines essentially, right . Im not sure, neil. Eventually there wont be any airlines. She wants to face out airlines. Talk about a high speed rail network, which is interesting. Another major progressive star, a senator from hawaii said that aint going to do good for my state. Neil we all to make everything more green and environmentally friendly. A big component is phasing out fossil fuels. Well eliminate 99 of cars. Well have to rebuild every building in the country, get rid of air travel, have a nice high speed rail and guaranteed wages and guaranteed housing and, you know, essentially free money. Really. Theres a component of this that is also the dont want to work, dont worry about it. We have a pot of cash for you as well. Its an amazing program. Neil she was there with the senator markey of massachusetts hand would put the Green Initiative up front, this is the identity of the democratic party. What do you think . I think it is. Elizabeth war rep has jumped on it. Ed markey has been around a long time. People need to know, this is not some guy, a freshman. You know, it cuts to where they have its where they obviously have been going a long time. Neil this wouldnt have gotten the attention without senator markey. Hes galvanized it. Its a utopia. We get it. Its a utopian dream. Fdr said he was going to take everything, the freedom of want is one i never could understand, how government could get rid of freedom of want and would want to get rid of freedom of want. Want is why we get up and do things. Its why we get up and innovate. Its why we invent things and help other people. So the idea that government would want to get rid of want and provide this utopian society. Neil they get creative raising money. In new jersey, they want taxes. How toes that work . They say salt, fertilizer. When it rains, it goes into the water system. They dont have anything to capture here. They have the ninth highest gas tax in the country. The sixth highest income tax in the country. The number 1 property tax in the country and theyre racked 50th worst state for business tax climate. Neil its not a rain tax per se. Every time it rains, the tax comes in. Its a way to find a word around taxes and to deal with this infrastructure they say theyll build into the utility system to capture the storm run off so it doesnt go to the lakes neil i thought that was taken care of with the hike in state gas taxes. What happened to that money . Yeah. If you think they were to build this facility, takes the taxes away. Everything is done. Neil we dont have to worry. Yeah. This whole thing, if we do with the Green New Deal, think ant flintstones. Thats all i say. Everybody was happy in the flintstones. Yeah. I like that. No cows. Neil no cows. Thanks very much, Charles Payne. Meantime, a deadline to avoid another shut down is closing in here. It looks, again i stress, it looks like they could have a deal after this. Everyones got to listen to mom. When it comes to reducing the sugar in your familys diet, coke, dr pepper and pepsi hear you. Were working together to do just that. Bringing you more great tasting beverages with less sugar or no sugar at all. Smaller portion sizes, clear calorie labels and reminders to think balance. Because we know mom wants whats best. More beverage choices, smaller portions, less sugar. Balanceus. Org neil all right. You dont want to get too excited here. The Senate Appropriations committee chairman, richard shelby, was saying that he experted a border deal could be done by monday. Thats after meeting with the president. So you have to think he bounced the ideas off the president. Chad pergram has more. What do you think . I talked to richard shelby. He said its the most positive meeting ive ever had with the president. The question was, will the president still declare a National Emergency if they got a deal . He said i would think he wouldnt. When you talk to members of the conference committee, theyre positive right now. Heres new information that ive just gotten. They believe that the sweet spot for border wall barrier fencing is a little more than 1. 3 billion. Thats restricted to this fiscal year. The other part of the deal, why would democrats go for that . Because theyre starting to put restrictions on how the money can be used. Well go for fencing but well put restrictions on there. The Appropriations Committee have to get texts by monday. The house of representatives has this 72hour rule. They have to bill text and post it for 72 hours and then they have to move it through the senate. I talked with mitch mcconnell. I said what happens if they cant get this worked out by a week from friday . Thats the deadline. He says i dont want to see any more short term crs. Thats the interim spending bill. He said hes hopeful. So things are ramping up right now. I talked with one of the appropriators from california, also a member of the conference committee. She said an old adage, nothing is decided until everything is decided, neil. Neil so monday would be the latest they could push it to go through this stuff to get it done by friday, right . Thats right. Mitch mcconnell indicated when i asked him tuesday, this is going back a couple days, that he thought if there was an agreement, if there was a universal global things, things could move through the senate fast. And then the question is nancy pelosi. What will the left of her caucus be wilding to do what will she to . Ive been told theres a sweet spot in the middle, just not with democrats and republicans where you have maybe not the most liberal voices and maybe not the most republican conservative members on the other side vote for this, but its the sweet spot somewhere in the middle. Keep in mind, neil, these freshmen, all of these House Democratic freshmen want a deal. It behooves to do so and nancy pelosi is mindful of that. Neil thanks, chad. Thank you. Neil a moving moment in the president s state of the Union Address. The dad of one of the sailors that was killed on the u. S. S. Cole in 2000 honored. The commander of that ship next. With all that usaa offers why go with anybody else . We know their rates are good, we know that theyre always going to take care of us. It was an instant savings and i should have changed a long time ago. Were the tenneys and were usaa members for life. Call usaa to start saving on insurance today. To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best to make you everybody else. Means to fight the hardest battle, which any human being can fight and never stop. Does this sound dismal . It isnt. Its the most wonderful life on earth. clapping every day, visionaries are creating the future. so, every day, we put our latest technology and vast expertise to work. the United States Postal Service makes more ecommerce deliveries to homes than anyone else in the country, affordably and ontime. ringing the future only happens with people who really know how to deliver it. We are honored to be joined tonight by Tom Wibberley, whose son, navy seaman craig wibberley, was one of the 17 sailors we tragically lost. Tom, we vowed to always remember the heroes of the uss cole. Neil what a beautiful moment that was. So many of us remember 9 11 but very few forget really what happened and set the stage for it, the bombing of the uss cole roughly the year before. The commander of that vessel, kirk lippold, with us now. Great to be on again. Neil what a touching moment. Phenomenal. The fact that the president took time to honor not only Tom Wibberley by his wife was also there, the fact that tom stood there and honored all the families who paid an unimaginable price and the loss of their loved ones in that dastardly attack by al qaeda. Taking that time at the state of the Union Address truly does show the nation that we as americans will never forget their sacrifice. Neil somehow, no disrespect, commander, certainly. We have known each other for many years. We forget what you and your men and women went through and how that set in motion what would be a horrific series of events and terror. Yet we are most likely assume well, its over. Its gone. No need to worry. When you hear that kind of talk, what do you think . I think its a tragedy, neil. In many ways, uss cole was rapidly pushed to the side. There was no response by either the client clinton or bush administration. They looked at it as the price that we pay for being on the international stage. The navy wants did downplayed in many ways and look forward and move on. The attack on uss call was lost in the shadow of 9 11. Its nice to know, neil, that there are americans out there serving our nation today who still take the time to make sure we are investing the intelligence assets, the time and the ordinance to make sure we hold these terrorists accountable even over 18 years later. Neil this occurs in an environment where the president , you know, wants to pull our troops out of syria. Reprioritizing i guess is the way the administration has put it. Maybe even using iraq as a people to keep an eye on iran. How do you feel about it . Americans, including me, want to make sure we are going through a deliberate process so that we understand not only action as we start to withdraw in an area like syria but also that we understand what the second and Third Order Effects are going to be. What are people in the region thinking . Do they understand the context of why we are doing it . Do they understand that they are going to pick up the burden for that fight to make sure isis is not only destroyed but stays destroyed. We cannot let them regain any capability. I think we are going to have that. I think we are going to stay invested in iraq, stay invested in afghanistan. We have National Security interest throughout the middle east in that part of the world that we need to make sure we stay there and keep supporting those people, as we try to make them understand and appreciate freedom and democracy and hopefully work toward that end. Neil commander, thank you very, very much. I always appreciate it. Commander kirk lippold. You think about the attacks in the death of those 17 soldiers and how little more than a year later we would have 9 11, albeit accents, it started then. The president didnt forget it this past week. All right, quick look at the dow. Due down 220 points. Couldve been worse. I want to emphasize everything hinges on whether the chinese trade talks come off well. This is one of the issues that was weighing on the markets, that they bumping and they might not be immediate. It is hot and cold with these guys. Today it was cold selling. Tomorrow could be a different story. That will do it here. The five is now. Speaks jesse hello, im Jesse Watters with dagen mcdowell, Juan Williams Juan Williams, dana perino and. Its 5 00 in new york city and this is the five. Its a fullblown political catastrophe for democrats in virginia. The states top three leaders are all facing mounting pressure to resign. A fourth democrat, u. S. Congressman bobby scott, being dragged into the firestorm. Lieutenant governor Justin Fairfax is accuser told scott about her
