I think there will come a point when you have a candidate like Bernie Sanders notching the democratic president ial nomination in 2020 or Something LikeElizabeth Warren or any of the other handful of democratic contenders who will probably run in 2020. They have these messages, but for now, resonate with americans, but i think theyre so far outside what the actual economic structure and messaging should be for a democratic candidate that that will be realized by americans at some point. I come on so often talking about the entitlement mentality and how weve coddled this whole huge age group of kids that have become millennials and we talk a lot of trash about millennials, but they do a lot of good things, too. Were so bombarded with it that maybe were to the point now of saying this has to end. This has to stop. We turn on the news and all we see is somebody who is offended about something. Maybe its time that parents just step up and say, its over. You have to pay your own way. You have to be responsible. I cant sacrifice my retirement, sacrifice my wellbeing and all the work that ive done to take care of myself and to just take care of you forever. Im not going to do it anymore. Charles people would be surprised how many grandparents are saddled with student debt from their grandchildren. So they cant enjoy their socalled golden years. Yeah. Charles so its i like the idea that this is happening. To your point, maybe it should have happened sooner. Do you think it can continue . There is something wrong when we expect everything to be given to them or we dont have the hurdles, clear the hurdles early in life. Were not teaching our kids how to fail. Were only teaching them how to win. Thats a mistake. Were hurting them by doing it. Its paramount to child abuse to only allow your child to experience success. Failure is where we all learn. Theres nothing wrong with teaching your kids to be responsible for their actions and understand that all actions have consequences. They need to understand, theres no such thing as free. We have to teach our kids that. Something ultimately pays. They need to contribute to their own success and their own wellbeing. Charles larry, great words.
