What happens is, it adds up to you never will have physically hurt somebody, and if you add up all of these things to which you are guilty, it would get six lifetimes. We have gone too far. We need to reassess what we do. Also, the power of the prosecutor to hold life sentences over people with paperwork crimes. It is a great incentive for people to give up somebody who might not be guilty, because they are afraid of spending their life in prison. The administration has made it clear that they welcome this. Do you think that just the sheer number of hours that he has talked to mueller raise concern . I think it shows that President Trump and the Administration Want to cooperate. They could have easily said no to any of these requests. The fact that he did cooperate for 30 hours show that the Trump Administration wants to cooperate. I think the problem is this. We have a prosecutor that has such enormous power that they seem not to want to rest until they talk to President Trump. Are they going to talk to him about a business deal 25 years ago in europe and expect him to recount the details of that if you get the details wrong, all of a sudden, he is a convicted felon . This is a terrible amount of power. It is a terrible situation. I dont wish this on anyone. It is really why i become a stronger and stronger belief that we should not have these special prosecutors, period. I dont think they serve any good, because theyre too much power over ruining peoples lives and trying to get people to give up information that may or may not be true. Neil if you are right, and i note that administration went ahead and we are quite happy with them talking to mueller. But, they did not send any representative with him. It seems to me that we are a little surprised by the amount of time and hours that he spent with mueller. We would like and that to this administrations version of john dean. What he think of that . I think that is overwrought and speculation. Ive been in and around the administration and ive not heard anyone say that it was anything other than consensual, and encouraged by the Trump Administration. They wanted to make sure thats truth got out there. Heres the problem. Lets say that i know nothing about this. The fbi wants me to testify. I would probably say, no, because i am petrified that they would trick me into saying something or miss stating something or misremembering something, and all of a sudden you get five years in prison, so i think we have made it such that the penalties are so draconian that any normal person would be afraid to speak to the fbi. Would also see an fbi that is so politicized. I think james comey has so tarnished the fbi reputation, that if im a republican, they are going to hate me, too. James comey has done a great deal to tarnished the repetition of a great deal of people. I know a lot of fbi agents, they do not deserve this. That is the situation that we are in now. It is a highly political investigation that really, the only thing that is come out of it so far, is we seem to be indicting russians over something, hacking emails, okay. We seem to be indicting people like Paul Manafort for something that has no connection to russia or donald trump. Neil i believe you are governor of new jersey. Was he relay this frustration with this process . Talking about the Mueller Investigation deteriorating . What did he tell you . I did not seem to be to focus on any of that. I think he was probably more focused on wanting to know how my trip to russia was. How we can have better engagement and try to get beyond into a better place in the world with people who may very well be our adversaries and times, but may be people that we have to have conversations in order to resolve things like syria and continue to lessen the danger of nuclear weapons. I think he is very interested in the bigger pitcher of things. I dont think that he is obsessed or somehow obviously, he does not like the Mueller Investigation. I do not like the Mueller Investigation. I think he is able to handle the problems with the country. He has done some incredible things between the tax cuts, and reform, a lot of great things have happened over the country in the last two years. Neil . Some Media Outlets have become so fixated on it, on russia, but when you asked them, if you do a survey, what kind of issues are you interested in . Theyre interested in jobs, economy, border control. They dont seem to be fixed on this russia thing. There are so many details of the russia thing, that all of us have to reread the stories to catch up on exactly what the timeline of who said what, when. It is very confusing.
