Envisioned by the founders, that sometimes are going disadvantage democrats, but the truth of the matter is that if we have a strong message, if were speaking to what the American People care about, typically the popular vote and the Electoral College vote will align, and i guess part of my overall message here, as i leave for the holidays is that if we look for one explanation or one Silver Bullet or one easy fix for our politics, then were probably going to be disappointed. There are just a lot of factors in what has happened, not just over the last few months but over the last decade, that has made both politics and governance more challenging. And i think everybody has raised legitimate questions and legitimate concerns. Do hope that we all just take some time, take a breath, that is certainly what im going to advise democrats to just reflect a little built more about how can we get too a place where people are working together, based on at least some common set of facts, how we can have a conversation about policies, that doesnt demonize each other. How can we channel what i think is the basic decency and goodness of the American People, so it reflects itself in our politics as opposed to it being so pollarrized and so nasty that in some cases you have votes and elected officials who have more confidence and faith in a foreign adversary than they have in their neighbors. Those go to bigger issuesle how is witness hey have some voters or elected official that think that Michelle Obamas Healthy Eating initiative and School Nutrition program is a greater threat to democracy than our government going after the press if theyre issuing other story they dont like. I mean, thats an issue that i think weve got to wrestle with. And we will. People have asked me how you feel after the election and so forth, and i say, well, look, this is a clarifying moment. Its a useful reminder that voting counts, politics counts, what the president elect is going to be doing is going to be very different than what i was doing, and i think people will be able to compare and contrast and make judgments about what worked for the American People, and i hope that building off the progress we have made, that what the president elect is proposing works. What i can say with confidence is that what we have done works. That i can prove. I can show you where we were in 2008 and i can show you where we are now, and you cant argue that were not better off. We are. And for that i thank me American People and more importantly not importantly, as importantly, i i was going to say josh earnest. For that i thank the American People, i thank the men and women in uniform who serve. Havent go gotten to the point where i have been sentimental. When i was doing my last Christmas Party photo line, theyre pretty long. Right at the end of the line the president of the marine corps band, comes in, those who have been performing, and i take a picture with them and the last time i would take a picture with my marine corps band after an event, and i got a little choked up. I was in front of marines so i had to tamp it down. But it was just one small example of all the people who have contributed to our success. Im responsible for where we have screwed up. The successes are widely shared with all the amazing people who have been part of this administration. Thank you everybody. Is this you last news conference. Barack obama wrapping up a very, sore long press convince, take october issues, the most telling what has been a fixation now on russias role that he says is undeniable in our last president ial election here, and that putin has his fingerprints on it as well. The has been born out by Intelligences Services that universally agree with that sentiments and says the fixation should apply to all parties and all people. Then when we talked about election itself and whether it affected the outcome he was more or less saying that one is on the media, and credited the coverage of Hillary Clinton and the leakness the media for her election defeat. Take a listen. Im finding it a little curious that suddenly everybody is acting surprised that looked like it was disadvantaging human being can because you guys wrote bit it every day. Every single leak. About every juicy tidbit of political gossip, including John Podestas emails its an obsession. Its fair to say the media was was the donald trump comments he made, language, things about women, long ago conversations caught on video tape, so, as far as the fairness of the media covering one candidate versus the other, just looking at the negative coverage verse the positive coverage i would think, even an objective analysis of this would confirm donald trump got more offer the bad stuff. Hillary clinton got more of the good stuff. What the media obsessed with stuff it shouldnt be in thats up to anyone from any tick party. The president making a comment about how we he will leave office and leave an economy in much better shape. You cannot mention the roll the Federal Reserve has made, keeping interest raise at zero percent. If nat not the potential wind at your back to get things better than they were i dont never what is i. Just wanted to step back from a nerd perspective there on a very big difference. If you cant see markets improving and an economy improving with near zero speakers Interest Rates and not acknowledge that might have a had or to do do with an improvement, well, maybe youre not being quite so despair quite so balance but this is not a political debate here. Were talking about the media and whether that was really the source of a lot of the in angstd be ing Hillary Clinton and not donald trump lets revisit history on these and more subjects. Adam, and charles payne, susan crabtree. Charles payne too you. It is fine for the president to cite maybe if diaint elect didnt turn out like he wanted and he was able to build coalitions and win when hi was on the ticket. A great pat on the back to himself. Thats fine. I am curious to this fixation on the medias role in disrupting Hillary Clinton. What do you make of that . Youre right. At one point he just said the media was unfair to Hillary Clinton and of course the quote unquote obsession. This is a media driven election, and i think it goes without saying that donald trump took the worst of it. So, lets not deny that these juicy tidbits that came out almost every morning, via wikileaks were the reflection of a Democratic Party that wasnt maybe what the people thought they were. Certainly what they advertised and from the offended a lot of people they said they were champions of. They showed an elitist air began that turn off people, particularly those who tilted the election to trump trump. So theres know doubt that the president off court here with respect to media. I think i heard three times where he kind of gave some blame to Hillary Clinton. To your paint, not putting his coalition together in part because she didnt hustle for it, didnt work for and it with the Electoral College have to have a strong message. Ow right. Called for a him put not for him. The second time he has mentioned. The first time right after the eye lex and it something down with the president elect and donald trump that there was a problem in the campaign and getting out and just retail kind of thing you do to get the word out here, but i didnt see much of an badgement on the president s part that, as good as his approval numbers look and they didnt translate for Hillary Clinton, fine, but maybe this great economy that youre touting was so great some of the big swing states like michigan and pennsylvania and hoyt that all went, including wisconsin, for the republicans. Well, you ahead the point earlier about monetary policy. The other thing the president had going for him was just how bad things were when he came into office and he has made point repeatedly. You have said before that the president gets to take credit of the blame no watered that the reasons are. No matter what the reasons,. I just think that obviously the benchmark for which donald trump comes in and has to bert 4. 6 up employment rates, and that can be high market. Lit me ask you about this. Notice that there i called it separation anxiety for the president to say this is not on me. This is on a media fictionalled on dragging her down on sums that didnt mean anything, on russia, on putin. Thats what was very telling. It was relentlessly conveyed. What do you think. Anybody that tries to blame the mening i tell them news is about conflict. The news media does not report when the plane lands on time. If theres nothing in the emails disdebbie wasserman shut was tripe to skew the election to the the primary towards clinton and not bernie sanders, we would have nothing to report. We dont report boring emails. So, not that is er boring e boring emails didnt get a fraction of the coverage or good copy, some of the salacious comments donald trump made. I remember that and if he was buffoon and speaking out of turn and didnt know his element. The comparison of that coverage versus the staffers and what they were leak ought about Hillary Clinton, just didnt think there was any compare son. That just my point of view here, but adam . I agree. I was thinking the same thing while the president was speaking today. The media, i think completely appropriately, was extremely tough on donald trump throughout the campaign so i think the media did its job and im happy to hear you leading that conversation that i think agrees with my point, neil, and i think my prepares im agreeing with you . I have to rethink my strategy here. I choose to believe that but. The president s beef was with the American People. The American People are interested in these salacious nuggets. You cant start picking and choosing issues that brought down your candidate. I think what is going to be noteworthy here is this is a president who with leave office not think it had anything to do with him or his policies. Theres there were at lot of factors involved but there as populist result here the dimensions of which neither the president nor many in the media appreciated until well after the fact. Im wondering if he does or just going to leave office and refuse to think its clear. Dont doubt the improvement that came under his leadership. Whether he gets all the credit. But, but, but, that this is still a tepid recovery. It is a tepid recovery and to your point, he sees fault with the media and with his own party and Hillary Clinton, but he refuses to acknowledge that heres the thing, you brought up defense. Yes, the economy got better on under barack obama but we were Getting Better from a total meltdown. Thats in our dna. Were supposer evidence to get better. The fed itself has hinted on more than one occasion this economy could have taken off if obama had not put in speed bumps with the avalanche of regular reagan layingses but youre strike toured too do that. Adam started it here and ill give you one last crack, susan, we were in such dire straitses, like me showing my parents my report card and im like ds and fs and the next quarter i get cs, im like mensa material. Right . Absolutely. People were worried about losing their houses, worried about losing their 401 k s, and he does deserve credit for getting us back, but the recovery has been the slowest recover since 1939. People dropping out of the work force more than any other time in the nations history. In 1953 you had 3 of prime, age men dropping out of the work place, not participate and now you have 12 . That is leading to the decline from 10 unemployment to 4. 6 percent. He deserves this is something h can brag about and leave and something years from now the democrats meet for their convention and can say, look at us, the Unemployment Rate was cut in more than half, the dow tripled. We could argue what we want to adams point about what drove a lot of that but i will say this. I find it a little surprising that a president , who knows the details of that, would not appreciate the fact that a lot of the jobs that have come back are parttime, theyre back, dead great, but much lower pay than they were. Now, parttime beats no time and some pay beats no pay but i do think that, yes, a step back and i didnt see enough oft of that. What die do i know. Thank you all very much. By the way, good deal of talk about russia today, but no one was talking much about china today because in the middle of all this fixation on how evil put putin is, this was an incredible development. Took one of our drone subs that was sort of mapping out the South China Sea, nothing spying, international waters. And then all of a sudden the chinese, in front of us, an oceanow graphic vessel doing this for the United States, seized that drone, despite the guys on this boat saying, no, no, no, the chinese never uttered a word. Walked off with and it still have this thing, unmanned drone, took it away and nothing could be done to stop them. They ignored our treaties when we kept tell can them to stop and it got me thinking it happens sometimes. This is why donald trump has been saying, russia isnt to much his worry. Long before this happened, china is. Lets go back in time and i mean six years back in time. Take a listen. China is absolutely taking advantage of this country, neil, and i feel it very strongly. Know many Chinese People and many chinese businessmen and they laugh at the stupidity of our politicians. If china were telling you, straighten up and fly right, get your debt under control, dont lecture us about our currency, what would a secretary or president President Trump say and do. Id tax the hell out of them. Tax them back to china. I had awful hair back then but enough about me. Im rye retired mayor general jack keane. For all the years we used to talk to each other, donald trump was talking bit his worries, china was the first and for most, rigging currency and rig trade and play fast and loose with the rules, a lack of trust, much more so than he was worried about russia but russia didnt come um much today china didnt come up minute today in the press conference, russia did. Think donald trump said consistently the chinese are the one wes have to deal with. Where do you dan on that . I think the real issue facing the United States beyond the fact that radical islam is more than a global jihad, what the United States is facing in terms of major Global Security challenge is simply this. Were in a Great Power Competition with russia and with china, and both of these countries, neil, want to disrupt the International Order that the United States has led in establishing from post world war 2. They no longer see that International Order in their National Interests and going about trying to disrupt it and eventually trying to eliminate and it that is what is happening in the South China Sea with he militarization of it. The chinese now unfolded a strategy which they have kept secret for a long time and many of us didnt know for sure where they were heading and that clear live is that china fully intends to dominate the pacific and dominate asia and theyre going to use their military to assist in achieving that level of control. Theyve been doing this for years. What surprised me about this latest incidents it theres upping the ante and showing no signs of stopping. I mean claiming all of the South China Sea is theirs, and militarizing islands that dont belong to them in rapid fire fashion and now promising to do still more, and more or less sort of throwing it back in the face of the president elect to see what he does. What should he do . Well, first of all, we have to make up our mind that the United States National Interests are at stake here and those are they . Do you think they are . Absolutely. The pacific we are a pacific nation. We have every right to be there every right to be in the role in commons and the water ways in that area there. China wants to influence and control that. They want to influence our allies. Every ally in the region, except for north korea, is allied with the United States as an ally, and they need to know that were going to be there and were not going to disengage as we have done in europe, as we have done in the middle east, and heres the other thing we have to understand. There will be confrontations. Its inevitable. We should not be afraid of a confrontation. Try to avoid it but what we dont want to do is have a confrontation that leads to conflict. But the fear of confrontation, which i believe the Obama Administration has done now for eight years and has led to emboldening our allies, russian to be sure also, china also as well, that is they have to clearly know that the United States has staked out its National Interests here, heres what we intend to do heres what our bow boundaries are and were not going to be pushed around. Its how you respond, and a lot of my geeky friends in the finance world say the reason why the chinese own so much of our debt and having someone finance our spending spree thats gone on for decadeses now and dent want to do anything to upset the cart but the more time you play on defers youll never get on offense. One thing i was profound that donald trump mentioned years ago i dont know whether you agree speaking more from the Economic Perspective but the chinese need us a hell of a lot more than we need them. Yes, they buy our debt but where would they go short of that . We shouldnt be cavalier but his message was, we dont appreciate how much china is in this position because of us, that we provided buying all of their goods, building a trade surplus, we are why china is this great success, and he wanted to remind me then, years ago, and im sure at president elect now, ive got your number, china. I know where you stand and im not afraid of you. The question is, then what . I tote live agree with that approach. Frankly the stability and security that the United States hays provided in the pacific rim for the last 30 years has led to the economic viability of that entire area, not just china. But many countries have benefited from this. And, yes, we have to be tougher with china in terms of them clearly understanding where we are coming from and its not just rhetoric that were speaking about. And sortly were not talking about necessarily leading to some kind of muscular intervention with he military, but nonetheless theyre mail tearizizing the South China Sea and we should be exercising our rights and our allies have to know were glowing to stand behind them. Thats not been the case in these last eight years, and when it comes comes to what china isg with cyberespionage and cyber attack on the country talking about russia as we should be but what china has done is absolutely outrageous and we have not pushed back on it and we should. And china is a far bigger economic worry to put it mildly to say nothing of what theyre doing militarily in the South China Sea. Merry christmas. Merry christmas to you. In the meantime, the president came the closest ive if heard him to say the Electoral College is at the Electoral College is a vestige, a carryover from an earlier vision of how our federal government was going to, work, that put a lot of premium on states. All right. Talking about is that maybe something that is antiquated and not really useful now. Barack obama still reminding a lot of folks that if you have a compelling message you can win the popular vote and electoral vote and something that Hillary Clinton failed to do. Having said that, all of this on the heels of demands on the part of a number of democrats, many hollywood elite sod say the electors with be gathering 538 of them have a moral duty to step back, look at the magnitude of what theyll decide and maybe vote differently. In other words if you come from a republican state that was won by donald trump, maybe rethink that and vote for someone other than donald trump. One of those electors getting pressured is this Michigan Republican elector, who will be joining us. Before we get to michael, what is at stake here. You need 270 electoral votes to win the presidency. Donald trump is comforts blue over that. It would take a swaying of 37 electors right now. To make that happen. Theres no guarantee those electors, especially in republican states, can legal live switch at all. The best scenario for them would be to vote for an alternative donald trump even in those states where they allow that to happen. Could this happen and could be see some big surprise in this already surprising Election Year Michigan Republican elector joining us on the phone. How will are you voting when you immediate on monday . Well, thank you for having me. Appreciate it. So on monday, on december 19th , myself and 15 other michigan electors wilt be very proudly casting votes for donald trump and mike pence for president and Vice President of the United States. Okay so this is a state that donald trump won by about 10,000 votes. Very close a republican never won there and now looks like he picked up the 16 electors and youre saying and the 15 others with you are not going to bolt. Yeah, absolutely. These are all people who are very intent on delivering the message that the millions of michiganders sent on november 8th. Good to see you though youth we on the phone. Lets me get a sense of the pressure youre going. I was talking to a colleague. Under enormous pressure, the likes of which we have never seen. What kind of stuff to do you hear . Its been pretty crazy. In fact, just today the mailman dropped off over 700 letters to my house. I received over a thousand in the last two days and thats just threw snail mail. Ive gotten thousands and thousands of messages on twitter, on facebook what die what do they say. Very clear, they want me and all my other elector colleagues to change our votes for Hillary Clinton and i think its kind of funny that these meeseages arent even from people from the state of michigan. Most of these letters come from california, and new york, and i just think its kind of comical that these people think that my vote is more belled beholding to their wishes than the millions of michiganders who voted for donald trump. d what did you make about what the president said about the Electoral College, its a relic from the past, im paraphrasing but that its the closest ive herd item just dismissing it outright. What did you make of that . I think its disappointing that someone who studied the constitution and is the president of the United States disappointing he doesnt understand the system. The Electoral College was nut in place to ensure that every american has a voice in this process. So that big states, densely lop paid states like california and new york, dont control every single election. So that wyoming and New Hampshire have a voice in this process, too. And states like that. So i think its require responsible for him to say its a formality or something that we dont need anymore because it very much is something that we need in this country and works great. Michael, how many elector toes might switch . We know of one in texas who night. I dont know any other than that. Any vibes you have . Yes. I think the only situation where were fining an elector who is going to switch is in texas and i cant imagine anyone else. If if may say about that particular elector, i find it absolutely shameful that person would go against the will of the voters of texas because if you look at the facts, the arguments hes making dont make any sense. Her was elected at the texas g. O. P. State convention. He signed a legal affidavit saying that he would support the nominee for president and Vice President of the United States, under the republican ticket. He then appeared on the texas ballot as an elector to for donald trump and mike pence, and he was elected as an elector for donald trump and mike pence, not to be a rogue elector. So i think its a incredibly deceptive and i think somebody who thinks theyre opinion is somehow better than millions of texans and in my case millions of michiganders who sent the message and to change that voice and not deliver that message is irresponsible and shameful. Im very disappointed in his decision and i dont think any other ewreckor will do that. Thank you very much. Its going to be contracts but well see. The Maryland Democratic senator, ben carson, who says that donald trump better divest himself of all of this business interests here because that alone those business interests, the appearance of impropriority alone could be an elm e Impeachable Offense. Think about that. Donald trump has not even taken office and theyre talking impeachment. This is your daughter. And she just got this. Ooh boy. But, youve got hum. So you can set this. And if she drives like this, you can tell her to drive more like this. Because youll get this. You can even set boundaries for so if she should be here, but instead goes here, here, or here. Youll know. So dont worry, mom. Because you put this, in here. Hum by verizon. The technology designed to make your car smarter, safer and more connected. Put some smarts in your car. Does the appearance of conflict of interest, of a vast empire so big that appears is enough to get you impeached . Meet the senator who said, yes. Theres a move afoot by some Democratic Senators now for donald trump to divest his business interests or you know what in when youre president well along at impeaching you. Theres something to big and widespread and so up to make you, well, in conflict with the law that just the appearance of impropriety, appearance of a conflict a region of the world you dont wouldnt to be in, is enough to be a high crime and misdemeanor . The very ingredients for improvement. The senator who came up with that idea and has a lot more support than you imagine. Take a listen. The constitution applies equally to all, everybody president since George Washington has taken important steps to divorce themselves from their not had a guy like this, right . He has a multibillion dollar empire, largely in real estate, but how i would how would you have them separate that, blind trust handed over to his kid wouldnt be good enough. Right . Certainly going to agree with you that mr. Trump is unique. But this Business Holdings need to be put in a blind trust or divested so that he does not have a violation over the constitution or conflict that questions whether he is acting on americas best interests or his commercial best interests. How would you know in the day days of john f. Kennedy his father had Real Estate Holding and the father was taking care of this and saying this wealth is from me, its not jack. So there was kind of an understanding that the president was apart from that because this was the wealth of his father, and again, largely in real estate. So, what is different now versus then . President kennedy took steps to divorces him of all his Business Holdings, personal reality. But all his permanent way. Was his fathers wealth. A valid hit opinion. You cant control every member of your family but if that maybe of the family has direct contact as an adviser the president that unacceptable. Where do you die the line . The obamas bucked the train dididnt use blind trust but they didnt have anything near the amount of money in the individual outside lays, particularly donald trump us but that had Bank Accounts and treasury notes and treasuries were pristine investments for a time and a period where the Federal Reserve is keeping rates very low. So you could make the argument that that look like a conflict of interest or something from which he was personally benefiting when the fed led bond prices so high and yield so low. President obama did both. He divested him of his Corporate Holdings but didnt divest him of obama thisry notes derek. [overlapping speakers] he was by no means youre quite wrong a gazillionaire, but you could make the argue. The appearance of Holding Treasuries at a time when the Federal Reserve is benefiting your Recovery Efforts would look like youre permanently permanently ben personally benefiting front they he also set up blind trust sod he didnt control is a wealth at all during his presidency and thats what president s have done since the beginning of George Washington josh. I understand, sir. You see how i dont many see how it is no, its not. I dont mind that the big difference between rooting four our country with Treasury Bonds and holding a corporate interest in russia and which youre seeking can get favors on trump enter prize. If Hillary Clinton became approximation many shutting the foundation down. You have been doing that divorce him have been doing this right now . I would have been seining whoever holds the office of president , whoever that person is, they have to comply with the constitution of the United States. They need to avoid conflicts. They need to set up arrangements where either divest. Thes of potential conflict order put it into a blind dust. You would look at Hillary Clinton if she became president and her husband still had the clinton foundation, she would divorce herself from that foundation, shut it down, dont pass it ton a child where the might be the same nepotism but shut it down. Your would hey called for that. Theres a big difference between owning a personal asset and being involved in a foundation. Having said that i dont know about that. Hundreds millions daytona also a big difference between the a member of your family and their cockpit flits and a member of your family part of the inner circle of your advisory team. Seems like grades of gray there it would be happen the couples daughter, chelsea, presumably taking over this enterprise. Now, well never know, well never know. Im just saying. I appreciate your that black and white. Youre telling a guy whose health e wealth is in real estate around the world, to diverse himself of that completely, to avoid even the appearance of impropriority. Right . One thing which is clearly black and white i the constitution of the United States, and in the constitution of the United States, you cannot accept favors from foreign governments. Youre saying just the appearance commercial holdings. Youre going further neat a constitutional provision. No, no, your relation leads just the con collect of interest alone is a high crime and misdemeanor to warrant to start impeachment proceedings. We dont want theres two issue heres. One is the clause of the constitution which alies to paul Public Officials that congress cant change. The law of the land. That deals with foreign gifts. Trump enterprises deals globally. The second its that americans want to make sure the president of the United States is going to do what is in their best interests, when he is negotiating trade deals or sends our soldiers into harms way and not his own commercial interests you dont eades even need prove two separate issues iim reading this correctly you dont even need proof. You have a quid pro quo. And relations with macao or china or what have you. The appearance of that would seem to warrant impeachment proceedings again donald trump. Dent want impeachment. We dont want a constitutional crisis. You keep mentioning impeachment. Wait donewe can want thee before january 20th. The constitution is already there. We cant change the constitution. Where is he going to take all this real estate . The just cant throw that into a blind trust. Its very different than those who come before him because of his wealth. So what he supposed to do . Thats the constitution. Hes got to comply with the constitution of the United States. This is not something we can say, well, maybe, maybe not, the constitution is there for a given reason what does it sty dive we real estate empire the world over, just sell it in mass . Sell it or put is in a blind trust. Thats been the practice of every president since George Washington the. The trust never department with a mull trillion dollar swaths of real estate. Look, the constitution has second us well. Theres a reason why weapon dont want foreign governments inappropriately influencing or elect edged, Public Officials. All right. Donald trump needs to comply with the constitution. All right. Senator is a good man. Dont get me wrong here. The constitution doesnt say anything about not having doing being a business man and running the country at the same time. The constitution warns against is someone who clearly takes advantage of that enriches himself from endeavors. You cant be a businessman or wealthy guy and still have all of that intact. But die want to raise this with ed rollins, ive read this a couple of times. Just the appearance of a conflict of interest is enough to be a high crime and a misdemeanor, the ingredient for impeachment. At a time when were seeing folks to talk electors to change their mind. If they fail that, then no sooners is donald trump in office theyre setting the stage item people the guy. No disrespect to nor but the reality i teach a course in the constitution and the american presidency. The constitution does not say you cant be a land owner, cant have property. The father of our country, George Washington, was learned landowner, had slaves and everything else. Nobody noh one told him he had to put that in a blind truster. A blind trust or something that is monitored. You have to prove he is doing something improper. You cant take gifts from foreign country elm he said said he would put his properties under the management of his and run the country and let them do that. Heres country knew what he did when they reelectricitied him. George washington was the richest president. One thing that struck me as odd here is theres a great deal of talk about the real estate and the empire that is donald trump, and not so much the last real estate titan, which was john kenneled john kennedy through his father joe but he told people it was his dad and would tell people jack has nothing to do with that. So to me just seems, though many decades apart, different standard for republicans with real estate wealth and democrats. Certainly is. Go after john kennedy. How about lyndon johnson, massive resources. And i think at the end of the day, let donald trump get into office and let him govern. If somewhere along the line someone things he has a conflict of interest, die its that point. Is it more difficult, ed should there be happy medium . A lot of people say like the kennedy analogy, father and son talk, and in this case donald trump and his kids talk. So, wouldnt that be ripe for possible abuse even if donald trump gives the company to the kids and they have a dinner at the white house and theyre talking and he is offering his ideas, by this senators measure, if it ever came to pass, that would be an Impeachable Offense right there. Its not going to pass. You see how theyre setting him up. Theres no question the constitution does not said that. Hi is going to be aroundded by very capable lawyers, lots of legal attacks over next four years or eight years, and i think he has to be prepared for those and will be appropriated for those. I think the bottom line, let him be in office and let him govern. Made it very clear im turning officer to my kids. Is shat separation enough . I think its. I think it is. Dose it say anything in the constitution, since you know this so well, about Atlantic City or las vegas property . No. Nothing about that. Las vegas was not there at that opinion in time we dont know for sure. All right. The appearance of rolling the dice. Ed rollins, thank you very much good seeing you again. Other wishes well raise with ed and was was happy to take this one on beaut is was a constitutional issue but look at the onetwo going on here. An effort to make it look like donald trump didnt win by trying to woo electorsors and failing to do that, once in office to impeach the guy. What a week this has been. My staff gave me all this and all these guests. Think to monitor my weight. Im never hungry after the interview. How involved was russia in the election. According to our katherine her her deher around, the cia director met separately with james comey and that was a strong consensus on the scope, nature and intent 0 about russian interference in our president ial erection. Election. I want to raise thrill with a big willing and from the fine state of florida. What do about the is there. Intelligence community, be guess from the agreement that russia was involved, what s. Clear is to the extent alone or with others, they leave out that whether this affected the results of the election. Happens from every single day in the country and some of the informing hat was gleaned from those attacks, such as the podesta people peoples were put out by wikileaks. But it was not an attack on our system of voting. To do at that time. Or at least leak out stuff and foster that. Dothat, do you thats different. Do you think that that could have changed outcomes in close states . You know, probably not. If you think about this podesta hack, that was not a sophisticated hack.
