Common. Most of the missiles, according to reports, landed at an Iraqi Military base in western iraq, that houses u. S. Troops. Some missiles, also targeting a base where there are American Forces station. Tonight, these were missiles fired from iranian territory into iraq. The ayatollah himself was actually the one ordering the strikes. Moving forward, the big question is how will the administration respond . According to the white house, we are hearing that he is meeting with his National Security team. There are still Damage Assessments going on in western iraq to determine whether or not there any american casualties. Reports indicate that there are iraqi casualties. They are more than 5,000 american troops here. Just a little bit on how we got to where we are at today, we saw just last month the death of an American Contractor and four u. S. Service members who were injured. In response, President Trump struck the group has th hezboll. In response, we saw the militia just off to my left ordering the storming of the u. S. Embassy. Early friday, President Trump ordering that drone strike two takeouts before. Everyone has been speculating about what the iranians will do. They had called for the blood of americans. We heard that confirmation today from the iranian president ial we are not sure whether or not this attack is over or whether it has just begun. Tucker all of us are praying. He is a former marine captain. We are happy to have him on set. Thanks so much. Where does this put us would you say . This is the outcome of what happened last week, right. We killed the second most powerful person in iran, the most powerful person in the country. How did we think they were going to react . Tucker do you think what happened tonight, we are only repeating what we are hearing right now because its unfolding in real time. Apparently no americans have been injured in this attack. Is it plausible that this could be enough, that the iranian government could say to itself and the world, we responded to the killing and thats it . Gil yeah, look, i really hope so. Ive got friends in uniform and a lot are headed on the way they are things getting worse. So, god willing, there are no casualties tonight. But its possible. There is so little trust on both sides between us and the iranians. There are ways to otherwise, where do we go . You know . Tucker is it in the interest of the United States, do you think, do not respond to this . Will respond to this attack . What should we do . What are we likely to do . We can go to court different directions, right . We can continue to go up the ladder. We can respond disproportionately and throw ourselves unequivocally into a fullblown war with iran. Are we going to fight a regime change war with iran . That country has mountains on three sides and ocean on the other. Are we really going to invade a country and close that regime . I dont think we are going to do that. Where does that leave us . I think its extremely difficult with how far down this road with come, unfortunately. Tucker its difficult to pull away at this point, your sane . Because theres so many voices on both sides and so little trust. We look at who seems to have the presence and which way were going. Not of this had to happen. You can go as far back, back to december. You can go back to 1979 if you want. But we dont have to be in this position. The people who are benefiting are the real threats to america. Tucker what about uniformed military leadership . Where are they if you can generalize . Speak at the risk of generalizing, the Iranian Regime, as unpopular as it is, is not going to just collapse with a little bit of a push. We are not going to excite a revolution in the streets overnight. We are kidding ourselves. Tucker i think most americans would welcome that, but not a fullblown war. Thanks so much for doing this tonight. I appreciate it. We are joan dumb i joined now by hey, tucker. Good evening to you. Theres a possibility that the president may go on camera at some point this evening to address the nation about what is taking place in iraq and what is taking place are for the couple hours. Just trying to figure out what the situation is on the ground there in iraq and whether it warrants a full address to the nation or some statement for the president. Im getting an early indication from people in government that there does not appear to be any american casualties here, that this missile attack did possibly not do as much damage. One would think that this missile attack would. No other bases that are actually american bases in the region were under attack. But the president did promise this afternoon when he was in the oval office with the Prime Minister of greece, and we were there in the oval office, that the United States is prepared to respond to any act of aggression by irans milita military. He can choose which way to go or no way to go, depending on what the situation on the ground is there. It will take some time for the pentagon to have an accurate assessment, Damage Assessment, as they call it. That may not come until first light. Obviously, the forces will want to stay hunkered down. We heard earlier today that there were a lot of discussion meetings in the situation room and that the Administration Fully expected that something of some magnitude was going to happen tonight, whether it come from iranian backed militias in iraq. The idea that it would come from iran was certainly something that was considered, but i think a lot of people didnt think that that was within the realm of possibility that iran would actually launch an attack on its own soil. That will factor into any kind of response from the United States as well. Tucker, well stay on a close watch here. If the president decides he wants to make an address, we have to know about it and we will let you know just as soon as we hear it. Tucker. Tucker john roberts from the white house. Its hard to know what exactly has happened. I just got a text from someone i consider trustworthy. Who knows, because this is developing. This is from baghdad. This will definitely be on the airwaves soon. Its hard to know. Bret baier joins us on the set tonight. Where are we in this question much like oh, yeah, im talking to sources inside iraq, inside the u. S. Government. Heres what we know. Many people thought that the attacks would be coming from proxies inside iraq. The choice of those two bases is interesting. One was alasad, the other was the kurdish capital. Is this a signal . Is this the message . The kurds were supporting the u. S. Tucker if you are iran and you want to inflict maximum damage, you have to hit a different base . And it would have been easier. Its closer to iran. Im reading through the tea leaves. We will see what the Damage Assessment is, but if as reported that no u. S. Casualties, we dont know if the iraqis took casualties at either one of these bases. I think what you are seeing here from the sources on the ground in baghdad could be more about the iranian shia militias that support iran, that may be active inside bi baghdad. Tucker how is this, and again, this is moving even as we speak, but to the extent that we can tell now, how is that breaking down . I think we have yet to see. I think that this is the biggest test for President Trump as a leader. It is by far his biggest test. As you know, he campaigned on getting out of the middle east, of bringing troops home. This is his moment to decide how far to push this, what the response is, and what that response will be will dictate how the rest of the world reacts. As far as the politics, it will change the democratic race significantly. Youve seen Bernie Sanders go far hard on this issue. Joe biden is trying to ride the rails. But he has his own issues about the don mike what the administration did with iran and the pain of money to iranian officials. Its not cut and dry. Tucker its not. Its not. As hard as someone watching this who is not covering politics full time as you are, it doesnt seem like the democrats are all the way on one side or republicans one side of the other. Its more confusing than that. Oh, 100 . The fact that we are in an Election Year and we are three and a half weeks away from the iowa caucuses, most importantly, the next steps in iraq on the ground, and whether those targets inside iran, may be, that shot those missiles, will be on the side of u. S. Tucker is it clear, i hate to use the term talking points, but if you were to sit down with the president or one of his advisors and say, whats our plan going forward, is it clear what the answer would be . Because thats the purpose. If and when he does it, it will be a clear, heres where we are, this is what im thinking. Notice we didnt hear anything from the gang of eight or anyone on capitol hill as they were briefed by officials. Its expected to be briefed tomorrow on the intelligence that led to taking out soleima soleimani. I think there is heavy skepticism up on capitol hill and in different corners. Maybe thats what the president is going to address. Tucker he is going to address why he did it. Yeah, and next steps. This is the moment where the country is going to want to know where are we going from here. The Damage Assessment, by now, they have a decent sense of what it looks like on the ground. Tucker so, i know you are not in the editorializing business, but tell me if you can confirm this instinct. My sense is that the president is not interested in some sort of war with iran, certainly not a ground war. His instincts are restraint. Is that what you are sensing or hearing . Policy wise. What he campaigned on, thats what he suggests. What he says verbally about being tough against iran, what he tweets out sends a different message. Whether his rhetoric matches up with what the policy decision is going to be tonight, i think it is the key moment for this president to be commander in chief. Tucker do you think we are going to hear from the president tonight . I would guess that we would, because its that big of a moment. Listen, having covered the pentagon for a long time, theres a lot of stuff happening behind the scenes. Theres all kinds of targets that have already been chosen. The question is whether we are going to step to that next level and what our responsibility is. Tucker this being washington and washington been fundamentally bureaucratic, a lot of employees were sent home today. Once again, this is the federal government. Its unbelievable. At 1 00, it was a ghost town. There was no one there. The Public Relations office apparently was closed down. Tucker its not shocking for the folks who live here, but for the rest of the country, they must be watching with jaws open. He is in amman, jordan for us. What is the response over there right now . Well, tucker, i can tell you that everyone suddenly has been waiting for something for the last few days. People have been expecting some kind of an iranian retaliation. Iranians have talked about every possible different kind of scenario. They talked about attacking the u. S. Mainland, attacking ships in the gulf. They did talk about attacking u. S. Bases in iraq and syria. Weve no announcing it is an escalation. Previously iran has only ever used by proxy. It would be placed on the shoulders of iran. Firing Ballistic Missiles out of iran at these two u. S. Bases. One, alassad. Thats about 100 miles west of baghdad. The other one, tehran. Everyone is waiting for that Damage Assessment, whether or not any u. S. He had not acted when a u. S. Drone was shut down. It was the loss of life of an american. We have to wait to see that Damage Assessment. You heard from bret. There is a sense that he has some idea of how serious this is, but certainly, iran is wellpositioned to continue attacking these bases. They have 2,000 such missiles. We will have to wait and see what the consequences are. Of course, we have seen u. S. Troops coming into the region ever since that strike, 3,000 u. S. Troops came to kuwait. 100 more to the u. S. Embassy. B52 bombers have come out. The u. S. Is wellpositioned to retaliate if it has to. Weve also seen over the last few days, secretary pompeo speaking. Just so they, the iranians say that any country that allows u. S. Troops to use their country as a base would also be targeted. They said that any attack would be considered an attack by israel. Israel coulde brought into this as well. Its a really tricky situation. We do know that they wanted to attack u. S. Military sites. They actually made that clear. We dont know if thats been the case, but certainly, it has happened. Again, that something that people expected. That timing. Three days of mourning in iran. We are trying to get as much detail as possible. We did get that report, that message that i will read back to you again. At approximately 5 30 p. M. On january 7th, iran launched more than 12 missiles. It is clear these missiles were launched from iran and targeted at least two military bases. This is a major escalation. Its a major game changer. There was talk of the u. S. Leaving iraq. That certainly doesnt seem to be having any time in the near future. Tucker certainly one of our bravest reporters. Thank you. Thanks so much for coming on. Since this is unfolding right before us, is it possible that iran lobs these missiles into the base, which i think is infuriating to any american watching, no matter what your views are on Foreign Policy. Does this and inevitably lead to a wider conflict . Well, if you just look at the last several days, it looks like a titfortat. The attacks on the 27th by hezbollah, on the iraqi base where a contractor perished, we responded by attacking five different targets in syria and iraq. The response was the protests and the embassy. Our response to the protest in the embassy was attacking their second most popular leader in iran. Im looking at the strikes tonight and what im thinking is, how are we going to retaliate and how big is it going to be . Im sure its going to be much bigger than these ballistic tucker you see how it could go there. People who dont live in washington may see this as a clean debate between conservative republicans and liberal democrats, but those of us who live here know that, i dont know, pick someone. Nancy pelosi or Chuck Schumer. I mean, these are people who have basically been advocating for a kind of war against iran for an awfully long time. The establishment of washington is for this. I just think our viewers out there should know that. Would you agree . I would agree, because i heard Chuck Schumer today and what he was talking about, i have two questions and my question is, what is our response going to be and how are we prepared for iran iranian retaliation . Im not just talking about the attack. I am talking about the attack on the 29th in which we bombed syria and iraq without any explanation or justification, but it seems like theyve moved on from that. They just want to know what our preparations are. Tucker its infuriating. Its because of Chuck Schumer and nancy pelosi that we got into iraq in the first place and turned libya into an even worse country, and that this is happening. Speak or write. There has been real no backstop for all these years, including getting out of iran in 2018. I mean, they opposed it because they opposed trump. But really, what they were saying to us, you know, was that they were preparing for war anyway with iran because they were bad guys. We cant seem to delineate where their hate for trump starts and the real interest in keeping dominic keeping us out of endless war begins. The one they are completely in favor of war. By definition, their power derives from conflict. It seems like we may have missed the opportunity to do something really good for america, which would be to bring our troops home from iran. Have we missed it . Yeah, if you look at it we have more troops in the region and possibly more than americans then we had even last week. We have 5,000 troops still in iraq today and 3,000 that are being deployed out there, so we are creating a situation where the endless war, pulling back the endless wars that trump had promised seem to be dissipating before our very eyes moment by moment. Tucker how can we, i guess this is a rhetorical question. I guess no one cares, but the whole point of spending more than a trillion dollars building this democracy was to prove that democracy works, that the iraqis can carry it out, and that we respect it. Like, we are for democracy. Thats why we did this, right we are like, no, we are not going to leave. What does that tell us . I think you got the answer from President Trump. He said, until they pay us back from the investment we made in that country, we are not leaving. To me, that doesnt sound like democracy. I mean, if that is the end result of all the blood and all the treasure of our investment or our occupation or whatever you want to call it, democratization of iraq, i think thats pretty pitiful. Tucker we are going to continue to send welfare payments to people who hate us. Its good to see you. He joins us today. Thanks so much for coming on. Thanks so much. Tucker so, where does this go from here, i mean, to the extent that we know, where do you believe we are going to wind up . I believe our leadership is assessing and exactly whats happening and they are not going to decide before knowing if the iranians are going to launch more or not. Then, they are going to decide what the response is going to be. Tucker i thought it was a smart point. It would have been easier for them to hit the base that had a lot more american personnel. Its closer to iran. They didnt. Does it suggest to you that they meant it as a symbolic attack . Inside, from what we know, there was a huge debate. They wanted retaliation. Other more seasoned circle side, are we going to lose all our interest in the middle east in engaging in this war with the United States especially after the president s statement . Tucker you mean lebanon and syria. Lebanon and syria. Im not sure they are going to continue to win. They have offered what they can offer, but we will see if they can escalate or not. Tucker g think if the United States can stop at this and say they love these missiles in we are in the middle of the event. We still have two or three hou hours. Its really the call of the president and his National Security team. Its a political decision, strategic decision. Tucker what do you think they are thinking . What you say to our viewers just turnintuning in . At some point, if that happens, well know, but as of now, what do you believe the white house is thinking . I think they want to know really what are the intentions of the iranians . In these type of conflicts where its not really a terror act, are they going to continue for a 20 dominic 24 hours, 48 hours. The iranians had three scenarios from the easiest to the most difficult. Our response is going to be most likely in iraq and maybe on the fire centers that started in iran. The second one is across the gulf, attacking our navy. They know that the price would be huge. They know that this would be a major, major blow to them if they would do it. If so, i think they have decid decided. Tucker so, anyone over 40 remembers a time when terrorism was a problem throughout the world. We havent seen that in an awfully long time. The terror that weve been faced with. G think its possible that we return to that kind of scenario that we had in the 80s where iran responds to acts of terror against civilians in western countries . It depends on our response to them. They have terrorism and they also have their militia. My point of view is that we saw less terrorism coming from the iranian side, because they were winning on the ground. There were winning in iraq. They were winning and syria. Now that they may lose part of those, then the possibility of them resorting to terrorism is quite there. Tucker so, the weaker they get, the more dangerous they become. Exactly. Tucker this is a principle that is true throughout the human experience. Why is that . Look, what i think the Iranian Regime is afraid of most is not us. They know they can stop it with us. Its the revolution brewing inside their tucker of course. Those moment movements are r, but you cannot control the iranian response. Tucker our state department ran the country. Are you surprised . Is the way we exited dominic exite. Tucker we were naive o believe that was possible . That could have been possible, but iraq is divided at this point in time between the various sects. That is not the issue. The issue is what the iranians have in mind. You are absolutely right and we dont know. So great to see you. Thank you for that. Thank you. A fox news alert for you. As the clock terms 8 30 eastern time 4 30 in iraq. What sort of military capabilities does iran have . Will they use them . What is next for those and other questions, we turn to senior advisor, christian, who joins us. Thanks so much for coming on. Its impossible to know at this stage where it goes. What you think is the most likely . Most likely, you are seeing the leading edge of iranian offensive capabilities. They have a fairly weak military of half a million men. They have a parallel force of a regular military, and then the revolutionary guard, which is a little bit like the thertheir ability to strike reay is limited. I think the response is going to be retaliating against the site that originated this attack. Plus, an extra step above that. Its unclear exactly what the president will do but very likely that there will be some form of retaliation. Tucker from the United States. Yes. Tucker lets back up just one step to something that i think has been too little considered. Soleimani, who has been described as the most popular person in the world, was killed right outside the baghdad airport. What the was he doing there . That does seem like an indication that iraq has basically become a province of iran. How did that happen . Give us the short version. Why werent people more upset about it before this week . No one has really drawn a hard line against them. Theyve been getting away with attacks on americans since they came to power in 1979, taking the americans hostage. When a really know. They are on the heels of an attack on the u. S. Embassy and the killings of other americans around. So, its not so much incidental that they control or have great influence over part of iraq. Its that no one has drawn a firm line against the aggression over the decade. Tucker right. Now, i think thats true. But i guess what im saying is for almost 17 years now, irans influence and control over iraq have been growing and we under three different administrations havent done anything about it. So why is that . If we are that worried about iran, why havent we done anything about it . Its somewhat bewildering. The initial invasion was brilliant. The political occupation run by paul bremmer originally, state Department Foreign service was grotesquely incompetent because we didnt find weapons of maste mass destruction. Also, the refusal of the Obama Administration to name islam as a threat. Thats why you had the apology tour. Thats why you had state departments g say that we really just need a jobs program to take care of isis. Also, on the other side of the equation. They will sort out their own problems later on. Tucker we were told that the three groups, the three ethnic groups, sunni. Thats insane. Wthat was never going to work. Why did no one know that that was never going to work . Why did the rest of us gnawed along like [laughs] iraq called that into question. It was reinforced in the arab spring. Thats a pretty isolated elements. It was necessary for the military government to step back and to put the islamic government out of power. I think the moral of the story is that democracy is great, but not every country is ready for it for it. Tucker i think thats great. By the way, i didnt mean to attack people for hoping for things. I really hoped that it would come true too. I hope for all kinds of things. Its just that we need to be honest about what people are actually light, i think. Christian, thanks so much for coming on tonight. So, consistently over the past few years, one of the voices we have turned to is retired army colonel, douglas mcgregor. He couldnt make it to the studio tonight, but he is joining us now by phone. We wanted to get his assessment. These attacks, doug, by iran, a tech to what, do you think . What does this mean . I think it means that we are about to find out if weve got the president we voted for. The question is, will he deescalate and withdraw our forces from iraq as the Iraqi Government has requested and the American People demand, or is he now going to respond in a way that guarantees a larger war with uncertain possibilities and outcomes . A war that undoubtably will destroy his presidency. So, i think those are the three critical questions and i also think what we are seeing is what happens when you surround yourself with people who never really supported you and have always been dedicated to intensifying conflict in the middle east. Tucker right. In this conflict, specifically conflict with iran, has been a decadelong focused of a very small group in washington. John bolton would be a leader in that group. So, youre saying that the president has in effect been used by people who despise him in order to get to where we are tonight. Yeah, obviously. I mean, after all, our principal enemy from 2001 and forward, some would say much earlier, are the sunni islamist. There has been a desperate attempt by a series of leaders in this country, more important, powerful influential voices inside the trump administration, pushing the president into conflict with iran. At this point, certainly, we could go to war with iran. Iran would suffer. The russians would undoubtably join the fray at some point. The chinese would finance the russians and ultimately go to work to help the iranians. Europeans will look at this as if we have lost our minds and they are probably right. The japanese, the koreans will stay out of it. Refuse to have anything to do with us. When the rest of the middle east starts to be destroyed under hales of missiles i would imagine they will back away. Remember, when you are destroying iran, you are essentially opening the floodgates to turkey and the Sunni Islamists that we have been fighting. Destroy iran and you will get isis times 100. Tucker yes. I have to say, if we are being honest, to hear you describe correctly russia as an effective ally of china, really is heartbreaking. It didnt have to be that way. The american left did that. They drove russia into the arms of china when this country could have struck an alliance of convenience with russia against our actual enemy, china, no, we werent allowed to do that. Thats one of the reasons we wound up where we are. I think its vital that the president , remember, that 64 of veterans who actually fought in iraq, all concluded a long time ago that it was not worth fighting for. Fighting for. Tucker yet. We understood because 59 of the American Public agrees with that. You cannot fight effectively against anyone when the public support at home is not existent or weak. Tucker we approve that. Sadly a number of times in a number of different conflicts. Thank you so much for your clarity tonight. Sure. Thank you. Tucker we are hearing that there will be contrary to what we suggested before, no address from the president of the United States to the nation tonight. Its 840 eastern and we are hearing that the president will not address the country tonight. There will be n presumably it wl happen tomorrow, but as of tonight, no. We are going to go back to trey who is in baghdad for an update on what is happening in iraq. Trey. Tucker, good evening. There have been casualties among their forces at the alassad base in iraq. No americans were killed in the strikes. Missiles fired from iranian territory into western iraq. Often the distance behind me, you can hear a number of helicopters that have been circling in the green zone. Interestingly enough, we have not seen any militia activity. They were fired into the green zone. That has been a common occurrence here in baghdad. It appeared that the iranians wanted to take clear credit for this. He was actually the one calling the strikes tonight. But again, the reports indicating no american casualties. Some iraqi casualties. There is still a Damage Assessment as to how Many American equipment was hit. There were two chromosomes at least that struck targets near the conflict. That is still being assessed as well along with what sort of damage those missiles did. And very different scenario than what weve seen in the past. Both american troops helping the Security Forces in the fight against isis on previous attacks including the one just about a week and a half ago that killed an American Contractor and injured for u. S. Service membe members. President trump did respond to those struck in the iranian back militia group, the hezbollah, which then led to the embassy being seized. The iranians, today, striking that base in western iraq. Firing from their own territory in iran. The next step and what happens next, all up to the administration. The tit for tat does continue here in the region. Tucker thanks so much. I want to read, id normally dont read texts on the air, but id just got something from a very wellinformed person in washington. I understand the argument that this isnt really going to lead to war. All of us want to believe that. Shift the burden. How is this not going to lead to war . How are we going to respond to a missile attack on a base ordered personally by the ayatollah . The chance of war with iran is dramatically underrated by people in washington. We are joined now by ned. He is the founder of american majority. What is your assessment of this . Well, ive got to tell you, tucker, im of the opinion that im not even sure why we are still in iraq. Im not sure why are we are still in afghanistan. I think the American People are sick of all this. Weve been there for decades. Im sick of us spending trillions of dollars and costing thousands of american lives to do other peoples business. This is israel and saudi arabia. They should be taking the lead on this and dealing with the iranian situation. If we are that concerned, israel and saudi should be taking the lead. Our role should be keeping russia and china at arms length and letting them deal with it. Im sick of us doing other peoples business, tucker. Its cost us a lot of money and a lot of lives. Enough is enough. We are going to stop doing other peoples work and let them take the lead. Tucker this is speculation, but i think they be happy to. [laughs] but think about israel, the saudis. Let them take the lead. Enough. This is one of the reasons why donald trump was elected. I dont think we can actually make a compelling argument for it. Stop with the nationbuilding. Enough of this trying to build democracy in afghanistan. Ask the russians and the british how well that worked to try to win a war in afghanistan. Enough. We are done. Tucker you. I think one guy limped in and took a shower. One guy. Good point. Great to see you. Thank you. Thank you, tucker. The one we are joined now by fox news contributor, jones, who we spoke to at the beginning of all of this just a few days ago. So, since we last spoke, this has happened. How has it changed your view . Well, its funny to hear everyone say if we go to war. Tucker, we are at war. Weve struck them, theyve struck us. I dont know what else you could call war. I spent almost nine months there. It was brutal. Its an important place in iraq for the war that we spent there, because its the largest most fortified base there. Its something that iran would have a lot of intelligence on. They would know exactly where to hit if they could get to it. It is so big. Tucker interesting. Do you think, you said that we are at war. Thats literally true, of course. But from here, i continue to believe the president wasnt done might doesnt want a fullblown war with iran. I refuse to believe it. I think most people dont want that. Are we going to get it, do you think . I think that the question. [laughs] yeah. Its hard to speculate. It depends on really what we planned for. Were they ready for this type of attack and do they have a plan for whats next . It should be an all or nothing response. We either pump the brakes and go through some sort of talks or some sort of deescalation or we go to war. This back and forth like this isnt good for our troops. It turns it into a 20 year war. We could wipe iran off the map. I dont think thats what we should do, but i would prefer that over a 20 year war where we lose tens of thousands of troops. Tucker i think youve framed it correctly. Whats best for america . Thank you for that. Thank you, tucker. Tucker well, in washington, iran is the focus of every conversation. We hear more about it on the show and this channel. But heres a thought. What if we spend as much time on issues here in america as we spend on the middle east. We might want to, because our cities are crumbling. Part two of our series, american dystopia, is right here after the break. Or how bout this dinosaur right here . Nope then why are you still using a laser printer . Its got expensive toner cartridges. But this. Is the Epson Ecotank color printer. No more expensive cartridges big ink tanks. Lots of ink. If you dont think this printers right for you, just pick up your phone. chuckling . And give me a call. The Epson Ecotank. Just fill and chill. Available at. Reports continuing to stream in from iraq where iranian missiles hit several bases used by american troops. No matter what happens tonight, there will be plenty of problems here in america as well. In the city of San Francisco, one of the prettiest places in the United States, law and order has been effectively suspended thanks to leftwing prosecutors. People camp on the sidewalks, in public, use drugs in broad daylight, all without penalty. Thats bad enough. For part two of our week long customers can steal with impunity. Heres the conversation. [bleep] [bleep] this is a day in the life of ive been here 42 years. He runs a grocery store. How often do people come in and create problems in the store customer every day. Every single day. Its not an exaggeration. Customers were picking up pockets with merchandise and walking out of the store. It happens every few minutes. Literally in our store, probably 1520 times a day. 20 times a day . Oh, yeah. Tucker the decriminalization of crime has been a disaster. One was the last time you came into work and had a day where nothing went wrong . Its been many years. Tucker he is been attacked by the homeless twice in his own store. One woman bit him when he asked her to leave. She bit into my arm. I freaked out. Tucker those who call on the law are helpless while criminals reigned supreme. This footage shows a man raking into the store. He rang up 30,000 worth of how often do you see people doing drugs . Oh, my tucker someone had attempted to steal some of the counterfeit money that he tapes to the wall behind the cash register. This is lowincome housing and some of them have issues. Sometimes they pass out. Water penetrates the ceiling. It happens every month pretty much. Tucker how much you pay in taxes every year . Thousands. Hundreds of thousand dollars. Tucker why are you still in San Francisco . Well, because you make investments in businesses. You cant just pick up and lea leave. I live a block away. [bleep] you he was on the phone with the police department. You have angry people across the street who cant afford it because they are leavin living n poverty. Im scared for my safety. That was his second 911 call of the day. Tucker San Francisco. It was a beautiful place once. Large america dystopia series continuing all week. Its depressing, but you ought to see it. What theyve done there, they want to do to your neighborhood. We will talk to a private police officer, who is being paid by Property Owners to keep order in their neighborhoods. Fascinating. In washington, the top concern is picking a war with iran on the other side of the planet. One thing is certain. What would an America FirstForeign Policy look like if we actually decided to have one . Chris has a lot. He is editor and publisher of american greatness. Thanks so much for coming on. What would an american first Foreign Policy look like . You know, tucker, thats the question i wish people in washington would ask. When you do ask people, they always give you a ethereal answer like one of these theoretical answers. I think its so much easier than that. Ask specific questions. This is what policymakers need to be doing. How does this policy benefit real americans . When you start to look at it through that frame and you stop trying to sort of implement an agenda or an ideology, then, the policy decisions that means doing things that have really concrete answers. Like for instance securing our southern border, worrying about whats going on between the border of the United States and mexico more than worrying about the border between syria and iraq or the border between iraq and iran. Remember, right now, one of the reasons that was given for the assassination of soleimani, i think justified, was that he had been responsible for the killing of five or 600 americans. But what about all the deaths from the opioids . Doesnt that warrant to some type of a response too . What i think about an american first Foreign Policy looks like, its borders in the future. The peace of its people. Tucker so, do you think that if people in washington were hiring cheap persian labor or entering into lucrative deals with iran, right, or if iran was funneling think tanks and academic departments at prestigious universities, do you think we would have a different iran policy . This is where iran has missed the boat. All they really needed to do was spend 30 or 40 million a year funding policies in washington and things would change for them very quickly. Its the exactly right. I think there would be in good shape, one of . So, in a sentence, tell me why something as obvious as what you just said is considered a ridiculous come off the grid crazy in washington . A Foreign Policy that puts americans first. Why is that so controversial . This is a super cynical reason, but careerism. How do people get their bread and butter so to speak . How to defense contractors make money . How do politicians get powder . Power . It shows bad ideology. There are some people who just frankly believe these things that america exists as a neoliberal pop for the rest of the world. Tucker thank you. We appreciate it. We want to do that on top of live pictures. You can see it from iran. These are the first pictures we are getting from inside the country. They have just lobbed missiles. There you go. Looking at life pictures. Thats it for us. Sean hannity takes over. Sean all right, we start with a fox news alert. We have a very serious situation in the middle east. They have launched a wide ranging missile. Iran launched an attack against our brave men and women in the region. We start tonight with the facts. According to the department of defense, more than a dozen missiles targeting u. S. Military personnel. At least two of the bases inside iraq were targeted. So far, the u. S. Military is still assessing the damage. Think fully, as of this hour, no re
