Would these help the candidate. The candidate who is. Tucker for whom the president is stumping. I think in this case. The state of tennessee is a state that the president carried easily. There is a reasonably popular candidate on the other side phil bred son who was governor and has been wellregarded in the state. He is ahead in what few polls there are. So, but Marsha Blackburn has a real chance to take the seat for the republicans and she will need the support of the trump. She will certainly need that and his being there helps with that other thing about it of course is he loves this. Tucker he does love it. No doubt about that. In washington he feels coopsd up and criticized and kind of like a man on an island and he gets out to these rallies where he packs these huge houses and all fully advanced by his team and people come and cheer wildly for him and it makes him feel good bill clinton was the same way. He got energy from it. People who covered him on his campaign, which i covered him as president but not on the campaign would say at the end of the day, everyone would be exhausted and he seemed to be some rally and people cheering like mad and he was full cry and roaring with energy and couldnt get enough of it trump seems much the same way. Tucker the debate over whose party is the Republican Party its trumps party. It is. But consider i think its also fair to say, tucker, for all the talk about how the party has been completely taken over by trump and the and it will not it will be his party in perpetuity, i think the Republican Party and its ideologies have had more influence on him than he has had on them. Tucker why do you say that . Because you look at the issues, right . Taxes. He talked about that. Thats a central republican tenet. Stronger defense, also, likewise a central repuck carepublican tenet. Deregulation, thats a been a republican red letter issue forever. Only issues which he has departed are immigration and trade. Its not at all clear when all is said and done whether what comes out of all of this the policies that emerge are objectionable to the republican mainstream. Tucker if there were a third Party Challenge. What would the third Party Challenger run on exactly. Well a third Party Challenge to trump or a candidate . Tucker candidate. It would have to be on the issue of personal character. People would say, you know, which is the issue that got george w. Bush elected but not necessarily within the republican ranks. White house, of course in the aftermath of the clinton scandals that carried weight and damaging to al gore who had to fight he had to make the decision how closely to link himself to clinton and the robust economy and was argued forever that he didnt do that enough or he did it too much. That was a burden on him for sure. And bush capitalized on it. Whether that will work in a republican primary at this stage i dont think so. I think trump has taken over most of the republican agenda. Tucker so on the issues, you dont see any kind of challenge for the nomination . Well, people. I dont think anyone can challenge him from the left on immigration or particularly on trade. Although one of the problems with trumps trade agenda is that it could go wrong. And we could end up, you know, with trade barriers up. We have sort of backed into or, you know, sort of blustered our way into. And the economy could get hurt by that. And, you know, you could have somebody running against him on the economy. But the economy would have to go pretty far south from where it is now for that to happen. How booyed do you think trump is republicans are by the potential north korean deal . Well, i think trump was pretty excited about it, about the potential of it i will say this. My concern has been and is now that he gets into the summit and the possibility of a deal that would denuclearize it and end the korean war and the rest of it that he makes a bad deal. That he gets euchred which is what has happened before repeatedly. So far though, it seems to me that despite his excited talk and his buying in at least a little bit to the nobel prize talk, his willingness to say okay, this is off suggests to me that, you know, he has his eyes wide open and the people around him do, too. If he gets over there or if they try to organize this thing and its coming to put that, that he is willing to walk away. But if he didnt do that. And he got into a bad deal, that might leave vulnerability. You pointing in the right direction for republicans, for the white house. They certainly look a lot better than they did six months ago. Tucker much better. What would happen if democrats failed to retake the house of representatives . What would the reckoning be like do you think within the Democratic Party . It would be pretty serious. I think the message that would probably come out of that would be that being, you know, just overwhelmingly antitrump is not enough. That while that awakens the sentiments in the base and responsible for a lot of the energy in the Democratic Party these days, that that in itself is not enough. Its too negative. Doesnt paint a picture of how much Better Things could be. It doesnt really arouse people most people are not passionate one way or the other. Most people willing to vote on a midterm want to hear from somebody who says, look, i can make things better for you and here is how. And if you havent got that in a way that and if you run as a democrat, some democrats seem prepared to do it. Vote for me, i will raise your taxes. Thats probably not going to work either. Tucker do you see any stirrings in the Democratic Party which is realigns ago i think the Republican Party is though it gets little coverage. Any stirrings of a positive agenda. We are against trump of course we are but here is what we are fovment do you see anything along those lines. Grow. Im not sure how we would know. The truth is when you get down to it, tucker, there are not a lot of new ideas. You are usually for reigning in government. Controlling spending although republicans have kind of given up on that. And at least in recent times. Lower taxes. Sterner defense. Tougher foreign policy. All of that right . Soft regulation. Democrats are for the opposite things. And they always will be. Thats what they are about. You know, so you can run on a platform that says look, you know, trump is destroying the environment. Is he letting the corporate moguls run amuck and big banks are cashing in as never before. We have got to put a stop to this. That will attract some support. That seems pretty tired right now. Tucker certainly does. Brit hume, thank you very much for that appreciate it we will go to the president when he begins speaking, of course. Meantime abcs revival of roseanne was the single most watched show on Network Television a month or two ago. Now the show is gone forever. Abc cancelled the program today after a series of tweets by the stars roseanne bar. Described former Obama Administration Valerie Jarrett as a product of the muslim brother and the planet of the apes. Roseanne was also fired by her talent agency. Already old episodes of that show have been yanked offline and disappeared forever. Its possible they will be burned somewhere in a public bonfire so the rest of us can gather in our uniforms and chant slogans while that happens. Valerie jarrett herself responded to this all today. Here is part of what she says. Does start at the top. We like to look up to our president and feel as though he reflects the values of our country. Each individual citizen has responsibility, too. Its up to all of to us push back. Our government is only going to be as good as we make it be. Tucker we want to bring you fox news alert. The president has just taken the stage in nashville. What a crowd. I want to thank you. I want to thank trace adkin adkins. He was incredible. You know trace won the apprentice. Trace is a winner. And i want to thank you very much, trace. That was fantastic. Im thrilled to be here in the great state of tennessee. And thats what it is. It is a great state. [cheers and applause] the heart of American Music and i mean incredible music. I love country music. And culture joined by thousands of hardworking american patriots. [cheers and applause] so joining us this evenings are many of your wonderful Tennessee Republican leaders [applause] this feels just like before our election. This is a big crowd of people. This is a lot of people. [cheers and applause] this is a lot of people. With bad weather and bad everything. And still coming. In we love you. We love you. Thank you. [applause] and were producing for you. Were really producing. You know, people are saying that we made certain promises. And im the only politician, can you imagine, the word politician. I never thought that was going to happen. I dont even like it. But im the only politician that produced more than i said i was going to produce and were only one and a half years in. [cheers and applause] but, before we begin, we have some great people. State Republican Party chairman who has done an incredible job. Scott golden. Scott, and Lieutenant Governor randy mcnally. Randy, thank you. [cheers] thank you, randy. Thank you, scott. From your house delegation, we have david custoff. David, thank you. David. Scott dijarle. The most beautiful name in politics. Thank you. Diane black. Diane. Where is diane . [cheers] she is in a big race. Good luck, diane. And jimmy duncan. Right, jimmy. First time i met jimmy duncan, i was in pennsylvania doing a speech with a good friend of his, lowe bar let toe whlou barleto. I was making a speech and jimmy duncan comes. In gin jimmy at the time. This is before the election. And tennessee has early voting. Right . Very early. And this is like three weeks before the election answered comes up and goes, you know, mr. Trump, it wasnt mr. President. It was just mr. Trump. He goes, you know, i have never seen anything like it but i love the state of tennessee and those people were coming from the hills, from the valleys, from the mountains, they were coming from everywhere. Said i have never seen anything like it. Really early voting in tennessee. He said all i can say is youre going to win tennessee in a landslide, which we did. But he said if the rest of the country is like tennessee. Right, jimmy, if its like tennessee. Youre going to win this election very easily. [cheers and applause] but we all kept hearing he cant get to 270. Remember, you need 270 electoral college. There is no way to 270. And they were right. 306. [cheers and applause] there is no way to 270. I went to maine. I love maine. But i went there four times because i needed one. I had to find one. Because i believed the fake news. They were wrong. There they are right back there. [crowd boos] fake. They are fake. Look how many of them. Oh, boy. Thats a lot of people back there. [crowd booing] thats a lot of people. Fake news. Were also very grateful to be joined by senator lamar alexander. Lamar . [applause] and senator bob corker. [crowd boos] and finally the person we are all here tonight to support the next United States senator from the great state of tennessee, a very, very early supporter of ours, and a really wonderful woman. She loves your state. She loves your country. Shes going to win. Marsha blackburn. Come on up marcia for a marsha. [cheers and applause] [cheers and applause] thank you so much, mr. President. We are absolutely thrilled that you are here. And im glad all of you are here. Thank you for everything youve done to elect so many republicans. And thank you for everything that you are doing for President Donald Trump. [cheers and applause] aye got to tell you. He has had an amazing 18 months. The Supreme Court justice, 40 federal judges. Repealing Record Number of regulations. [cheers and applause] tax cuts. [cheers] decreasing illegal immigration. [applause] standing up to china and north korea. [applause] defeating isis in syria. Let me tell you, that is what you call getting the job done. [applause] im going to tell you right now, tennessee needs a senator that is going to support President Donald Trump and i i am going to be there to stand with President Donald Trump and take your tennessee values to washington, d. C. To fight with him to get the job done. Thank you all so much. [cheers and applause] thank you, marsha. She is a great woman. So we need marsha in the senate to continue the amazing process and work that we have done over the last year and a half. There has never been an administration and even some of our enemies are begrudgingly admitting this, that has done what we have done in the first year and a half. Thank you, marsha. We have created 3. 3 million new jobs since election day. If we would have said that before the election, that im going to create 3. 3 million new jobs, we would never have survived the onslaught from the fake news. They would not have accepted it. They wouldnt have accepted it. [crowd boos] they would have said there is no way you can do that unemployment is at its lowest level since the turn of the century. [applause] now, you know the actual number is 19 years. I said lets see, 19 years, that brings us into the last century. I love the sound of the turn of the century. Right . So i said lets not use 19. Lets say the turn of the century. But thats a long time. Africanamerican unemployment and hispanic american unemployment are at their lowest levels in history in history. [cheers and applause] unemployment among women is at its lowest level in almost 20 years and wages for the first time in many, many years are finally going up, wages are going up. I used to talk about it on the campaign trail. People were taking less money working two and three jobs than they were making 20 years ago. Well, now, rates going up, folks. What can i say . Wages going up. And they are going up fast. The forgotten men and women of our country are no longer forgotten they are forgotten no more. No more. We are reasserting american strength and confidence and talent. We have tremendous talent in this country. Tremendous talent in this room. Its a big room. This stadium. This arena. We have tremendous talent and our talent and our strength is being respected again pros parroted is booming, optimism is surging and america is winning. Were winning. We truly are making America Great again. Look at all those hats. [cheers and applause] but most importantly, our country is respected again all over the world. Were not making apologies. We are not making excuses. Were respected again as the country. [cheers and applause] no more apologies. [chanting u. S. A. ] but to keep this momentum going, to continue this incredible progress, to keep on winning, you have to vote republican in november. You see whats happening with the democrat so marshas vy liberal democrat pontd Phil Bredesen, who is he . I never heard of this guy. Who is he . He is an absolute total tool of. [laughter] of Chuck Schumer hes a tool of Chuck Schumer and, of course, the ms13 lover nancy pelosi. [crowd boos] she loves ms13. Can you imagine . Remember . I said theyre animals and she said how dare you say that how dare you say that. Have you seen what theyve done . Have you seen what theyre doing to us . And were taking them out of our country by the thousands. Out. Out. By the thousands. [applause] so phil was recruited by schumer to run for the senate. He had to get pelosis approval. Can you believe this . And if bredesen were ever to get elected, he would do whatever chuck and nancy remember the term . Chuck and nancy. They dont want the wall. They want open borders. [crowd boos] they are more interested in taking care of criminals than they are in taking care of you. [crowd boos] bredesen donated a lot of money to the campaign of barack obama and hillary clinton. [crowd boos] crooked hillary. [chanting] [chanting lock her up] so how do you like the fact they had people infiltrating our campaign . Can you imagine . [crowd boos] can you imagine . People infiltrating our campaign. Is there anybody in this big, beautiful arena right now thats infiltrating our campaign . Will you please raise your hand. That would take courage, huh . No, look, you take a look whats going on. Never in the history of our country has something taken place like took place during this election. In all fairness, im no fan of crazy bernie sanders. Im no fan. [crowd boos] but i want to tell you, he got screwed. [laughter] he did. He did. Crazy bernie. He still doesnt know what happened. [laughter] he doesnt know. I saw him on television. I dont know what happened. Me too. I thought he was winning. But it helped me because we were very, very cautious and we worked hard. Many, many speeches a day. That last month of campaigning and some of the polls got it right. But i will tell you. What i would see the crowds. Crowds like this i would go to one to another to another all over the country. She would go there. The only way she filled up the arena was to get jayz. [crowd boos] and his language was so filthy that it made me like the most clean cut human being on earth. [cheers and applause] he would stand up there before those crowds. And, by the way, without any musical instruments, i had much bigger crowds than he was drawing. But he would stand up before those crowds and he would use the f word and hillary would sit back hey, oh, im in trouble. Im in trouble. Please dont have him use that kind of language anymore. And then he would finish and everybody would leave. And she would be standing up, making a speech to 400 people. [laughter] but Phil Bredesen supported her. He supported her ideas. Border wall. We have already started doing it. [chanting build that wall] so we have already started. We got 1. 6 billion in the last approval. Remember, this we had to take care of our military, folks. Okay . [cheers] we had to take care of them. I got 700 billion for our military and next year i got 700 and 16 billion. And our enemies look at us much differently now. [cheers and applause] than they looked at us two years ago. [chanting u. S. A. ] we also, by the way, very important to all of us, we got 6 billion. Thats b, billion. 700 b. Billion. We got 600 billion for opioid and getting rid of that scourge thats taking over our country. The numbers are way down. We are getting the word out. Bad. Bad stuff. You go to the hospital. You have a broken arm. You come out, you are a drug addict with this crap. Its way down. Were doing a good job with it. But we have got 6 billion to help us with opioid. So, if you want strong borders and, again, we have started that wall. We have 1. 6 bull for the wall we started the wall. And . Saand in san diego they cameto. You heard this story. I said dont give it to them. Because we lose a lot of energy. They wanted it so badly. They got tired of Illegal Immigrants walking across their front lawn. Can you understand that . Isnt that terrible . That they got tired. Why shouldnt they have people walking through their living room . Why . They wanted the wall. So i said nah. Lets wait. They said go ahead and build it we got a good price. We started to build it. Then i had second thoughts because the governor of california, who loves sanctuary cities. [crowd boos] and other things. So he didnt want a wall. But they were putting so much pressure, so i decided then in the middle of doing it, its beautiful, its big, nobody is crossing it very easily. Not one of those that you can just scoot to the top. This is a real wall. So, what happened is in the middle i sort of had second thoughts. You ever hav second thoughts about something . I said you know, lets stop building the wall because w get more pressure put on this crazy governor where the taxes are high and the crime is high. Other than that, he is doing a fantastic job. Okay . [laughter] in california, i have property in california that i dont care about anymore. You know, when you do this job, there is only one thing that matters. Thats getting it done properly. It doesnt matter getting it done. Who cares have you property . Big deal. So i said lets stop building the wall. How much would it cost because i know too much about contractors. I think half the room is contractors. Look at these people. I can tell a contractor. I can smell a contractor, believe it or not. Got a lot of contractors. I said find out how much it would cost to stop. The said it wouldnt cost anything to stop. I said really . Find out. He said its 7 million to stop. I said all right. Keep building it. Okay . Im not going to stop it for that. Right . We have got to get it done. We are doing the wall. We started of the wall. But we wanted to. We need about 700 miles of wall. Its 2,000 miles. We need about 700 miles of wall. We are getting it. We have a lot of natural barriers better than any wall you can build. We are getting it for those people, remember i used to say who is going to pay for the wall. Right . Do you remember . And these guys all think wow, we finally have them because mexico said they are not going to pay for the wall. What does that mean . What does that mean . We are renegotiating nafta, remember what i said. We are having we are having you remember i said to tennessee, i said to everyone. We have such a bad deal with mexico, we have such a bad deal with canada. We lose with mexico over 100 billion a year with this crazy nafta deal. Think of it. Its impossible. We lose 100 billion a year. And that doesnt include the billions of dollars of drugs that flow ioountry. Thats not included thats probab another 100 billion and probably more than that. Its really destroying our youth. Were going to stop it appeared we have been stopping it and immigration is down. But we need border wall. We need we got to have a change in our laws. Our laws are the worst laws of any country anywhere in the world. Catch and release. Did you ever hear . You catch, you take their name, and you release. Oh, great. Wonderful. Then they are supposed to show up to a court. There is only one problem. They never show up. So were working were having a real problem. The democrats want to use it as a campaign issue. And i keep saying i hope they do. The fact is, the democrats are lousy politicians. They are lousy on policy. I happen to think them allowing open borders, which we dont allow anyway, but they make it very difficult, but them allowing open borders, thats a good issue for us. Not for them. I really but the one thing they do, the one thing they do is they stick together. Its always like 48. 49. Nobody leaves in the senate. They stick together. They always vote like 100 percent. Okay . So we need more republicans. Were going to get them. Were going to get the wall done anyway. Mexico i dont want to cause a problem. I dont want to cause it. But, in the end, in the end, mexico is going to pay for the wall. Im just telling you that. Im just telling you that all right . I dont want to cause any problems. But, in the end, mexico is paying for the wall. They make all of this money and they do absolutely nothing to stop people from going through mexico from honduras and all these other countries, the caravan, all of this stuff, they do nothing to help us. Nothing. They are going to pay for the wall and they are going to enjoy it. Okay . They are going to enjoy it. They do nothing for us. [applause] so, if you want strong borders. And if you want not only that, we have to do something with the lottery. We have to do something with chain migration. [crowd boos] we have a guy in new york a year ago he ran over and killed 8 people. Right . 8 people. And nobody ever talks about the people that were injured. Did you ever notice . They say 8 people died. Well, about 12 are i just horribly injured. They lose an arm, they lose a leg. These are people that are running alongside of the hudson river which i know so well. And they are running and this maniac takes his car. Is he driving fast. He goes and he knocks off as many people as he can. Eight people killed. Many people badly injured. Missing a leg. Missing an arm. Can you imagine . These are people different from me in the sense that they want to run. I dont want to run. They want to run. And they go and they work hard and they want to look good. And they come home because of this maniac and others like him, look at whats going on all over the world. Look at what is going on look at what is happening to europe. So, they go and they take this man, right . And he got here and he has got 22 people that came in, his mother, his father, his grandmother, his uncle, his brother, his sister. You have 22 people come in for this one guy. Thats called chain migration. [crowd boos] 22 people. And then, of course, you have the wonderful lottery system that was started by Chuck Schumer or sometimes referred to crying Chuck Schumer, right . He is so i know him for some years. I knew him from new york so long. Crien chuck, remember he was crying. So sad. He got up. He was working those careers tears. He was trying so hard. Not tears it was sweat. Scrien chuck wanted to have a lottery system. Ink of it, a lottery. You pick people. Now, let me ask you, so these countries that are sending people. In do you think they are sending us their finest . No. Do you think they are sending us so we get the lottery. So they put names pick the names and they come in and then we wonder why we have problems. We are not going to be a stupid country anymore. We have stopped it. Were not going to be. [cheers and applause] and you can say what you want, but i think Border Security and security general is a great issue for the Republican Party. I think its a great issue. Not a bad issue. So, if you want the strong borders. If you want crime to stop and by the way, as a country, we have it way down. Then you take a look at a place like chicago, what the hell is that mayor doing . What is he doing . But we have crime is down in the country, but we need republicans and we need to get out and vote for marsha. [applause] if you want your communities to be safe, if you want your schools to be safe, if you want your country to be safe, then you must go out and get the democrats the hell out of office because theres no common sense. [cheers and applause] and were going to defend our borders and were going to fight on crime. Were not going to let whats happened over the last long period of time, been going on for a long time, we have borders down 40 . And its tough because our economy is doing so well. More people trying to get in. So it makes it even tougher. But the other thing is, we are going to protect your second amendment. You wont have a second amendment. [cheers and applause] if the democrats take over. You wont have a second amendment. [cheers and applause] you wont have a second amendment. So last week i visited a place where i essentially grew up right next door to discuss the menace of ms13. This vicious gang has transformed once peaceful, beautiful communities that i know so well. I know them all. In to blood stained killing fields savagely murdering, raping and mutilating their victims. And they dont even want to do it with a gun. They talk about gun control. They dont want to do it with a gun. They want to do it with knives. They want to cut people up in little pieces because its more painful. And then i have to listen to pelosi and these people saying we have to respect them. Theyre human beings. They are not human beings. They are not human beings. This is why we call the bloodthirsty ms13 gang members exactly the name i used last week. What was the name . [crowd shouts animals] animals. Ms13 takes advantage of glaring loopholes in our immigration laws to infiltrate our country. Thats what we do. Think of it, we are bringing them out by the thousands but they come in. We are bringing them out by the thousands. You know, in long island, we have guys, border patrol. Guys in ice women, fantastic, women brave and tough and strong, but we have the people in ice. They go around and grab ms13 and the beauty is, they are much tougher than these gang members. And they see these people and they say man, and they throw them into the patty wagons and the towns. This is long island where i grew up. You have the same kind of communities. But, for some reason, so many in long island its like they have been lib enter rated like from a war. Its like the enemy has been taken out and the people are dancing and they are waving and they are looking out their windows and waving to the ice people. Those people are incredible, brave, tough people. [cheers and applause] they have been liberated. Terrible. If you would have told me 30 years ago, 20 years ago that could happen to long island, i would have said no way. But thats what happened. Think of it, its like these towns have been liberated. Yet, in the fails of ms13 and its threat. Washington, democrats. Voted against legislation to remove these criminal aliens. They voted against kates law. And they voted in favor of sanctuary cities that protect criminals. [crowd boos] and they voted in favor of catch and release. Okay . So democrats have opposed every common sense measure necessary to stop this horrendous scourge of crime to dismantle ms13 and to stop illegal immigration. Thats why we have to go in november. You have to work with marsha. We have to get the votes we need the votes. They stick together. They will always vote. Phil, whatever the hell his name is, this guy will 100 percent vote against us every single time. I have democrats come up to me. I love you, president. I love the job. Im with you president. You know, some of these states are won by 44 points. And they are afraid that if i go there, which i will, so theyre telling me all sorts they are actually saying good things. Democrats running for office, many of them are saying great things about me. In fact i think they are republicans. Heres the problem. They are not going to vote for us. No matter what they say, it doesnt matter. The only thing that matters. They dont have to say anything. The only thing that matters is will they raise their hand . They will never raise their hand because i told you they are bad at everything but they are good at sticking together. They are good at sticking i give them respect for that. They are good at sticking together. Its the only thing they are good at. We support the rule of law. And we support the heroes of Law Enforcement thank you. [cheers and applause] and we defend our constitution. And we have confirmed. We have gotten now through confirmation a Record Number of judges who will interpret the constitution as written as written. [cheers and applause] we have pride in our history. And we have respect for our Great American flag. [cheers and applause] we put our hands on our hearts for the pledge of allegiance. Put our hands on ourearts. And we always proudly stand for our national anthem. Thank you. [cheers and applause] whats that all about . Guided by these shared values, we have already accomplished more than anyone ever dreamed possible. A year and a half. Thats all it is. We have not let you down. I will never let you down. [cheers and applause] we passed the largest tax cuts and reform in american history. [cheers and applause] larger than Ronald Reagan many years ago. When i got involved, i said you have got to help me with this because why have you never been able to pass tax cuts . You might have heard this story. And they said to me, sir, i dont know. Just cant pass them. I said can i see a few of these bills over the years, you know, i looked at one from 20 years ago, 10 years ago, 30 years ago. It doesnt say tax cut. It said the Tax Reform Act of 1994. Tax reform. It says things what does reform mean . It might mean you pay more taxes. It didnt say cuts. So i meet with the politicians and they have been doing it much longer than me. Remember that i have only been doing it a couple years, right . But we have common sense. I said, wait a minute, when you pass the Tax Reform Act of whatever year, nobody knows its tax cuts. I think they do. Oh, great. Lets give everybody an education. We are going to give 350 Million People an education. You got to call it the tax cut act. [cheers and applause] the tax cut act. [cheers] and then they said, good people, wellmeaning, they want to pass it really good people, kevin brady. A lot of great people. Knowledgeable. They said, sir, what would you like to name it . I said i will tell you, and im being serious about it. I want it to be called the tax cut cut cut cut plan. Four cuts. And we all agreed that was a little bit hokie, so we decided not to do that. But we call it the tax cut act. Okay . And, i dont see easy. I dont say easy. And then, of course, repeal and replace obamacare. [cheers and applause] we had it done, folks. It was done. And then early in the morning somebody turned their hand in the wrong direction. [crowd boos] that cost our country a lot. That was a very, very terrible thing that happened that night. That was a very terrible thing. That cost our country 1 trillion in entitlement savings that nobody would have known it would have given us a good Healthcare Plan and that cost us a lot. And nobody knew that was going to happen because we had it done. Repeal and replace. And the person that voted that way only talked repeal and replace. He campaigned on it. So i will tell you this. I will tell you this. Forget that we are coming up with great healthcare our secretary of labor is coming out with a plan in two weeks. Association plan. Its going to be great. Our secretary of health alex, we have alex acosta. Do you know that . I have my two alexs. Both of my alexs are coming out with plans that are phenomenal plans. Phenomenal plans. Alex aczar. Alex acosta and it will be out over the next four weeks. Its going to cover a tremendous amount of territory. Plus, in the tax cuts, what did we get . The individual mandate is out the window. That was the most unpopular part of obamacare. So unconstitutional. That was where you have the privilege of paying a lot of money so that you dont have to pay for healthcare because you are not going to get it, okay . So you pay not to have to pay for healthcare. In other words, you are not going to get healthcare. You pay for the privilege. Think of it, you pay every time i think of this. You pay for the privilege of not getting healthcare. Great. Thats a great one. I love that that was an obama special. Who would think of that . Who would think of it . So we got rid of the individual mandate. We also got anwr in alaska in the tax cut plan. [cheers] friend of mine called said its amazing. Anwr. In the oil business. Successful guy. He says i cant believe it. They have been trying to get anwr. Thats this massive find for years and years they havent been able to get it approved. I wasnt pushing it too hard to be honest with you. I was more focused on the tax cuts. He called up and says is it true you are trying to get anwr and maybe get it . I said who cares . Like the biggest find. Its phenomenal. I said why ask . He said every president , bush, bush 7 trillion in the middle east. Great. Great. Great investment. A lot of death. Death and blood and money. Horrible. Bush everybody tried to get. People have been trying to get that approved since Ronald Reagan. I said what about reagan . He tried, also. They failed. When i heard that, i said you got to get anwr approved. And we got it approved. I never knew it was such a big deal. Its actually a big deal. [applause] and the people of alaska, who are great, they are working on it right now. They are moving it along. Last week we passed new landmark legislation to give choice to our great veterans. Its going through. Were going to have it. Its going to be incredible going for choice. We havent finished the process yet but its happening. Choice. You know, before i knew too much about the v. A. I used to say take care. These are great people. They are in many cases in pretty rough shape. They would have to waited for a doctor for three weeks, for four weeks, for 16 days, for a week. Sometimes for months. They would go on with something that could be easily cured. Three months later they havent seen a doctor and they are terminally ill. Okay . And i said we have to help. I didnt know too much about it but i said you know what makes sense to me . They wait for the doctors, they cant get. In you know what makes sense to me. Let them go out to a private doctor looking for business and let the government pay, right . [cheers and applause] i went to the socalled experts they said we have been trying to do it for years. I see. Not an odd idea. No we are very close to getting it fully passed. Choice. Choice. We also did something else. The v. A. , our veterans, we got the v. A. Accountability act. Do you know what that is . We all love the unions. We all love civil service. But the power that they have couldnt get it. For years and decades they have tried to get accountability. So people would treat our vets badly. You had people that would be terrible to our vets and you couldnt fire them. Had you people that would steal. They would rob. You would catch them. You couldnt fire them. I had whats called the v. A. Accountability act. Nobody thought i could get it through, nobody, because of the unions, hey, i understand. And because of civil service, which is very powerful. We got it through. I signed it a couple of months ago. [cheers and applause] right . And now you will when somebody steals or when some sicko hurts our great veterans, we look them in the eye and we say, jim, youre fired. Get out of here. Get out. And theyre gone. Theyre gone. Theyre gone. [cheers and applause] v. A. Accountability act. Im proud of that. Nobody talks about it. By the way these guys dont talk about it they never talk about it. [crowd boos] they dont even talk about it. Something good happens, they dont want to its mostly good, i will tell you. Think dont want to talk about it. This month, just like i promised during the campaign, the United States officially opened the American Embassy in jerusalem. [cheers and applause] thats good. Here is just a quick story. I really understand now why it was never approved by everybody that ran for office. Every president , both parties in running they said we are going to open the embassy in jerusalem. Were going to recognize jerusalem as the capital. Were opening the okay. This was their campaign. The politicians. This is their campaign. Over and over. Many, many president s. Not one he goes you are fired. Yeah. They got fired. I guess you are right. They are not here. But, not one did it. And i thought that was terrible. Because, you see them campaigning. Its one of their many points. But were going to open the embassy in jerusalem over and over and over. Now it comes time. One of them wins, they never do it. Right . They never did it. And now i know why. Because two weeks out, when people sort of started to think that were going to open up the embassy, i was called by every leader in the world dont do it. Dont do it. We dont want it. Dont do it. And i understood. The pressure not to open it was tremendous. And we did it. And we did the right thing. We did the right thing. [cheers and applause] and i will tell a little story, a fast one. After it was approved, i told the generals and john bolton, who is here some place. Where is john bolton . [applause] great john bolton. They think he is so nasty and so tough that i have to hold him back. Okay . Pretty great. And he is doing a great job. You better get some rest because we have some pretty good negotiations coming up. He is here with his daughter who lives, by the way, in tennessee. So happy. [cheers and applause] so i say would want to prove it. We want to build it. They said yes, sir. So i get, you know, executive order, this big beautiful piece of paper. It must have cost like a fortune. I havent used it y but i put it in my speh. So beautiful. Leher. Most expensive leather money can buy. You know. Thing probably cost 2,000. Look, got the seal. Remind me to take it when i leave. Its so beautiful. [laughter] but, i have this executive and im getting ready to sign it. I sign donald i say what is this . What is this, general . Sir, i love these generals. They are much better fighters of wars, believe me than they are negotiators for money. Sir, this is the new embassy in israel. Its for your approval, sir. The cost will be 1 billion. I said wait a minute, what . What . 1 billion. I said 1 billion. How can it cost 1 billion . Its a one Story Building . Sir, we estimate the cost to be 1 billion. Were going out to buy land. Were going to do this. In the meantime, it wont open for 30 years. He know they all said. So i called my head, migrate diplomat, my representative david freidman, right . To israel from welcome to hannity. You can see the president is on a roll there. Mentally, i cant do it. Its like a one Story Building they want to overpay for land like they did in london before i got there. I said, david, i cant do it. David was a great businessman. He says let me look into it. He calls me back two days later
