Such severe disappointment that the case was handled the way that it was and he did such a short amount of time in florida. The situation in the Virgin Islands was after he was released from that 18 month state in prison . That is correct. This is really the first, solid allegation that mr. Epstein was still engaging in these activities after he got them out of jail in palm beach. Now, we need to see the evidence because we have is an allegation. No, this may be partially based on a revelation a few months ago that air Traffic Controllers in the Virgin Islands were seeing very young girls disembarked from mr. Epsteins plane just in recent months. However, again, the activity has been going on for years and years and years. He also quoted Gordon Sondland the Eu Ambassador says everybody was in the loop on this from the president on down. I think the biggest take away on this is the democrats star witness, everything they are hanging their hat on is a guy who is currently under federal indictment and, get this, martha, on charges of making false statements and falsifying documents. I mean, the fact that that is what they are hanging their hat on, i think, is embarrassing and sad. If this is all they have, i think it shows how desperate they are to come after this president. Every single day its a new bombshell that theyre looking for to take the president down. This whole thing started because they didnt like the 2016 election. And every single day since the president has been in office, they have been trying to knock him out of there and take him down. They havent been successful. The country is better off because they havent been. Because donald trump has done a tremendous job over the last three years and our country is doing much better under him than the previous 8 under the obama administration. What was it . What was discussed with regard to that . You know, i wasnt part of the decisionmaking process on the Vice President going. But what i do know is the Vice President is one of the most upstanding people i have ever encountered in my life not just in the white house or in politics, but he is one of the most decent, wonderful people you could possibly meet. And im certainly going to take his word over a guy who is under federal indictment for lying. Martha so you dont remember any specifics of the discussions surrounding it . You werent involved in that at all. I dont, martha. A lot of this took place, the calls and things like that, happened just after i left the white house. Martha you left in june of 2019. I wasnt there for some of that discussion. Martha i just want to get your impression. When you look at this stuff, these notes between this parnas guy, what he is scribbling on paper, all of these discussions about Maria Yovanovitch and there is Text Messages from Victoria Toensing to lev parnas and all of that. It seems like they all had some interest in what was going on here with regard to whether or not there would be a meeting at the white house and the kind of leverage that they would have on getting some information on the bidens and this person and all of that. What do you think when you read all of this and when you hear that these individuals were sort of evoking the president in order to get what they wanted out of these ukrainian individuals . Well, it sounds like a group of selfserving people. And i think parnas has been clear in several of the statements. One he was no friend of the president and he never actually had a direct conversation with the president. Two key things that i dont think anybody is talking about. Unless he heard it directly from the president , i dont think he can consider that some sort of order that he is making it out to be or some sort of firsthand knowledge. He didnt have any. And, again, i dont think that this is the person that the democrats want to hang their hat on. I think it is sad that the media will give attention to anybody that is willing to attack this president no matter how low their credibility is. And i find it astonishing. I think one of the other big pieces to look at is ukraine did get aid. In fact, they got more lethal aid under President Trump than they ever got under obama. So the idea that all of the aid was withheld and they didnt get it, i mean, it just didnt happen. Martha certainly true. At the end of the day, i think this is a whole big to do about nothing.
