That was everywhere. There were like 10 references. Theres no way that he said that. Why would he say that. He didnt sigh that. Hes talking about a reference between you dont want to monkey up the work he sees good work by Governor Scott by turning into socialist plan for the economy in florida. What kind of world are we living in where this is how quickly with jump the gun. Gillum says how said were divided. Hes using this politically right out the gate. You have to keep in mind, i dont think that gillum is to be saying hes taking advantage. He said to the contrary to shepard ship, he wants to avoid division. I think that what he said so far. They say when the words monkey this up is used to refer to electing a man of color. Theyre on same page with the pay this is supposed to be read. Someone else just going through this on twitter, pulls up merriam webster, they go to this which says monkey around. It would have never occurred to me that monkey up might be something that would be perceived as racist. Well, in general if we ran into each other in the halloway on the 17th floor, i wouldnt give it a thought. In this environment where you have the first black man running for the governor of florida for his opponent immediately begin with language articulate monkey this up. I think its more of dog whistle. I remember what joe biden said about president obama. That didnt sit right with me. I thought would you say that about young together white man who is running. I think that is a more exclusive word than this thing. This is what got seized upon. What amazes me to see their campaign jump right in, assume the worse in him, assume that this is what hes doing, connected all to donald trump. I think we live in an era you dont need to give into that debate.
