Reporter gretchen, investigators are really putting a sharp focus on the days before this shooting incident when at least on one occasion there were scouting efforts made not only at the pulse nightclub but at some of Walt Disneyworld properties as well. In those the killer may have been accompanied by his wife on at least one occasion to the pulse nightclub. She is reportedly cooperating with authorities. But as fox news has won firmed, she knew about the killings beforehand and did nothing to try and stop them. Investigators are also pouring through the killers electronics. They have his phone, they have his computer, they have his camera and they are searching those now in addition to his finances to see if perhaps he had any accomplices, anyone else was helping to support him financially. Finally, behind me, the forensics investigation continues. More than 30 federal experts really pouring over that crime scene to try and get an accurate timeline of what exactly happened where more than 200 rounds were fired, gretchen. As we continue to look at those developments, what else are we learning about the actual shooter . Reporter it really seems like a torn figure, perhaps a split type of personality. On the one hand were hearing from his father and from some coworkers that he was a really viscerally antigay, someone who hated gays with a rage, with an anger, and became physically upset in their presence. On the other hand, were hearing from some people who went to school with him at the police academy, people who studied with him in france, that he was a regular at several gay night clubs, including the pulse nightclub. Also, his presence play be on several gay dating apps, including jacked and grinder. Some phones of acquaintances have been turned in to police which they say show his presence on these sites. One thing thats really not in any doubt is how he acted as a killer in the nightclub on sunday morning where some of the survivors describe him as methodical, even going back to shoot some of those who he initially wounded. She may have been with him on scouting visits to the pulse and even to disney world. Whats to her . She should be arrested. If she knew that he was going to do this and aided and abetted him in it, and that is the key. If she promoted his actions, for example there are reports that we are receiving that she went in on the scouting reports. That is someone whos aiding and abetting. She went with him to buy ammo. Thats aiding and abetting. And if she planned this and knew about it and knew exactly what he was going to do, even a slight idea of what he was going to do, she should be charged with conspiracy. Conspiracy. What would she face . She would face charges a rank of charges because she could face a count for each person who was shot. And, also, in addition to just conspiracy, she could be charged with murder because if you aid and abet someone in planning a mau murder, you are just as guilty as doing it yourself. But she never picked up the phone to apparently tell the police. Trying to stop someone Means Nothing in a case like this. She knew, she should have called 911 saying this man, i know his name, obviously i know his location, i know what type of car he is in. I need to tell you what he is going to do. That is stopping something. That is the one thing that can saving people from a conspiracy charge. Because if they know that someones going to do something and they make an effort to stop it, thats the one thing that will keep them from being charged. The fbi is interested in who else helped him, are there other plots, is there an imminent threat somewhere else and can they stop it. Oftentimes in these cases the fbi makes a deal saying, look, we dont necessarily want you, but we want anyone else who may be involved. Gunman shot and apparently killed by police just happening moments ago at a walmart in amarillo, texas. Sheriffs department say the man entered the store, took hostages before being shot and killed by officers. Trace gallagher is following this breaking news. Gretchen, the information is coming from the Randall CountySheriffs Office who did confirm a man with a gaughan was inside an Amarillo Walmart holding at least one hostage. It is unclear exactly how the s. W. A. T. Team located the suspect and was able to shoot him but Authorities Say he has been killed and the hostage is safe. All other employees and customers were also safely evacuated. Even while this was going on, authorities were very quick to say this was a case of workplace violence.
