I think his support is 35 . Its a little bit celebrity, its a little bit pizazz. Im surprised. I think he has a ceiling of 35 to 40 . Its why i think super tuesday is so important. Five of the 15, were the only one that has beaten him over and over again. And the way, you know, folks at home dont want to see donald trump as nominee, that is about 65 of republicans. Were seeing more of them joining our campaign. People supporting jeb bush and Chris Christie joining our campaign. The polls dont reflect that, yet, senator. But super tuesday polls did. Trump, ive got to say, i have to say i have been doing this a long time. All right . Ive been in journalism a long time and never, ever seen anything like this. Very hard to cover this race in a way that is fair and gives you the right perspective, right, from where i sit. Because i understand why these guys are doing what theyre doing. I understand it. Lets bring in dana perinoni whi believe understands it as well to wrap things up for us. The tail for me tonight is john kasich who is far and away the best person not only in the republican sweep stakes, but in the country now. He is. If you look at his experience level, and in congress, what hes done, okay. But hes just not tapping in to what the voters want. They dont care as i told bernie goldberg, if you make a crude comment or if you call someone names. They want an avenger in there. I dont think that is going to change, do you . I dont think that is true. There are people that care about the crude comments. And i do think there is a way to cover this fairly. I happened to love the debate. I love being an observer and reminded how much easier it is to be an observer than participant. I think we can say good things about the moderators and the way fox conducted this debate. Even people like nicholas kristoff, a liberal guy, said this was a tough debate and was very fair so moderators should get credit for that. I do think it was more substantive and john kasich had a chance to shine for the first time in one of these debates because you only had four people. One, we expect wallace, kelly, and baer because theyre always good. I dont need brownie points from anyone in this stage of my career. I have never seen them when theyre not good. But youre right, they were good. And kasich made his points. Hes a little repetitive but a little cliche ridden at the end of the day. I tell you, dana, i dont think were going to see in the polls, i think 15 Million People watched tonight. Yes, i think he will win the state of ohio. I dont think people were saying that last week. Maybe not. But the point im trying to get across to you and everybody is that this year is different than any other year in our republic. All right . No doubt. Its different. There is an uprising in this country. Now, the point of the matter is how big is the uprising . Trump needs, as i told them, 25 million to convince he doesnt have yet. You he has to get 60 million to win. Hes got maybe 30 on his team. But you know, youve got a flawed candidate up against him, its not going to be sanders. Its hillary, who is very whip smart by the way. Very whip smart and the republican establishment thinks hillary is going to kick trumps butt. Shes going to have the democrats consolidate behind her. Easier than the republicans. By the way. Absolutely. And you mentioned something to bernie goldberg, trump is not running as a republican, hes running as a populist. Okay. So people have to understand, bill, that that is one of the things that trump is going to have a hard time doing. He has to, of course, he might be able to get the popular vote and get the nomination, can he get those people to consolidate behind him . Because hes going to have to get the republicans to overperform numbers from 2012 and going to have to hope the democrats under perform. Here is a guy that came in at 3 and now up to 35 . So, this guy, as an unlimited ceiling is going to scorch earth Hillary Clinton. I mean hes going to go down in flames if he loses. Its going to be bloody and a spectacle we have never seen in our lifetime. I think all of those projections are probably premature. And vice versa. I think attacks from democrats against donald trump if he becomes nominee are going to be unlike anything youve seen, either. All right, dana, thank you for staying up late.
