The left always likes us to believe that theyve cornered the market on compassion and caring, but individual people they dont like so much. Big groups of people, they are for the children. Individual, no. So its kind of a charade. Sean i have Better Things to do tomorrow and the next day or i would just really unload on him. But i dont feel like dealing with the fallout. I will have my producer send it to you. Laura great to see you and great show tonight. Im Laura Ingraham and this is the ingraham angle from washington. Raymond arroyo brings you an exclusive report, gla homeless crisis is now spreading to some of the most exclusive neighborhoods in los angeles. Now what he discovered, i didnt know anything about this, is going to shock you. Its called beachfront homelessness. He has a report later in the hour. Also tonight a conservative group decides to fight back against media that has been beyond dishonest and biased and now it seems like the media doesnt like getting a taste of its own medicine. We will explain that. But New York Times, Washington Post and cnn is booked tonight. And a left list reverend told dnc that if you reject socialism, you are rejecting the bible. Thats a neat trick. So what does ralph reed think about all that . Hes here to tell us. But first, media, not trump, fumbled the g7. Thats the focus of tonights angle. Watching the American Media coverage of g7, i cant help but think they cant go any lower or be a more uninformed or more dishonest. What if anything do you think the president accomplished at the g7 summit . Its not clear anything. The president wasnt leading at this g7 summit but he was misleading. With more of a g6 plus one. Laura brilliant analysis. The indisputable fact is that america under President Trump has an economy that is the envy of the world. But its as if on cue, the press finds a way to frame things in the worst possible light against trump. But here is what you need to know. Number one, china is coming back to the trade negotiating table all because of trumps tariff. Number two, the white house and japan are negotiating a new trade deal on agriculture and beef. It will be great for american farmers. Number three, the u. K. Want to trade deal. They will have to wait until after the brexit deal is settled to get it. Number four, the e. U. Is facing huge political and economic problems. And at number five, we have the strongest economy bar none in the g7. Yet peter baker, a pendant masquerading as a journalist was so desperate that he measured the meeting success on the number of words in the final statement that came out for the g7. With all the differences with trump, they largely had a statement that added up to 264 words. 14,263 words. International bureaucrats, they talk a lot and right a lot a lot, meaningless blather. And that was back in 2016 of course when the u. S. Economy was limping along and china was eating our lunch. Do you want that or do you want a short g7 statement especially compared to the french, the german and the british. My friends, this is an easy call. The fact that major European Countries are in the economic turmoil, its not our fault. Its theirs. They staked their futures on a European Union that was flawed from the inception. They were over regulating their businesses and overtaxing their people and they allowed in over a million refugees of very different backgrounds and very different values. And the media somehow think trump should follow their lead. I dont think so. Trump had the guts to do a serious review and revision of previous administration. Im talking both policies. China has taken a very hard hit over the last number of months. Theyve lost 3 million jobs, shouldnt be more than 3 million jobs. The chain is breaking like nobody has seen before and once that happens its very hard to put it back together, you understand. I think they very much want to make a deal and the longer they wait the harder it is to put it back. If it can be put back at all. Laura the president is being very crafty here and very pragmatic. He still willing to work a deal with the chinese, yet he is not going to agree to anything if it returns the United States to the status quo. Before he came into office, where china just cheated rampantly and they got stronger and stronger at our expense year after year after year. Hes not going to agree to that. Yet, they are essentially taking the word of this oppressive communist government over that of their own countrys president. They have even gone too far for cnbcs jim cramer. I think you have to taken seriously because he can walk back on anything you said. You could have the chinese officially denying it in the chinese havent necessarily been square and honest. Suddenly we believe the chinese are honest. So many people wouldve rather take the word of the Chinese Communist party. Im aghast that we trust the prc more than we trust the white house. Laura i love joe kern. He was making a point with a laugh there but its a serious one. Never forget what you think about trump style or tweets, whatever it is. Look at the results. We have yellow best protests in france, we have the ongoing brexit drama, we have italys government in complete chaos meltdown. Germany headed already into a recession. Europe is in chaos and yet the e. U. s attempt at managing democratic socialism, we see it has failed miserably. Now remember that obama, the darling of the media elites, he tried his best to push a european style agenda here in the United States and that worked out so well that he ended up turning over the white house to donald trump. People dont want any part of it. The democrats and they are marketing this madness to our youth. Zero growth, and it destroyed and demoralized middleclass. That somehow the media will again miss the real story. And thats the angle. Here now to help us make sense of the overwrought shrinking we have heard from the media over just the last 72 hours is michael antone. He was a Trump Administration former Deputy National security advisor for strategic communications. Now you said trumps approach was right because hes dealing with weak leaders in the g7, explain. Heres something you dont hear from the coverage. And mccrone probably wont run again but, and trudeau, who faced a bunch of scandal in canada, who knows what is next for him. And if you are brandnew its hard to find your footing. So President Trump and Prime Minister are the two strongest leaders there by far. But in fact the Trump Administration get tough stands on china and japan loves that. And there are some longstanding trade disputes with iran. And they dont tell you that the president , you dont accomplish anything there. Laura they want us to be more like europe. Im watching these people on television and thinking, have you ever read anything . Have you seen what happened in the last 15 years in europe . Its like you cant see the hand in front of their own fates. What they miss and dont tell you about as there are certain signs of life in europe. Italy could get a new Prime Minister and it could be Matteo Salvini whos a trump like populace figure that could reinvigorate that economy. And they want to paint this as dismal and possible as possible as much as possible. I try to take i dont like this tweet or what are the results . What are the results of trump . What are the result trump and what are the results of europe . Right now the biggest success is the completely new approach with china. At this point its irreversible. But even if you lost in 2020 we are not going back to our old relationship with china. Josh bolton of the Bush Administration is a nice guy but hes over there with the Business Roundtable and they are all against the trade push. If they want to go back to the old days when they made a lot of money in the regular people got shafted. We are never going back there under democrats or republicans. I want to play this, hes a former obama official who is now an anchor at cnn. He has this to say today. The primary National Security and Foreign Policy challenges facing the your u. S. And europe today, there is a very public disagreement, the Iran Nuclear Deal front and center but also russias readmission to g7, open disagreement on that. The china trade war, no agreement and very public disagreement and this is President Trumps third g7 summit. On each of those issues the president has not moved his allies in one iota. Laura so thats the sign of a failed u. S. President they say . You have to expect disagreements between countries that see things differently. Theres a real disagreement on climate change. We are closer than iran than this commentator is making out. Laura reporter, anchor. I read some commentary today that mccrone tried to spring nobody mentions that trump has said all along i will meet with the iranians if they want to talk. If there was a deal to be had, we will take it. Laura i will say this again. I think trump is a moderate on china trade. When the dalai lama comes back and stop oppressing the muslims, then we will talk. But i think trump is a pragmatist and a moderate on trade. Thats what they are talking about. This is terrible for business, thats going to kill the market. Its not happening now and they dont know what to do. The market is very strong. Thank you, that you are the perfect person to have been here tonight. Also tonight joe biden is in trouble. The former front runner, and now Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders in a new poll that just came out from monmou monmouth. His dropped 13 points in two months. Now weve been telling you now for weeks if not longer that bidens lead was only temporary. Now the news that relates to my angle is, if trump returns from europe, democrat voters are dead set on embracing those very same programs and policies that are taking europe, courtesy now of warren and sanders. Now here and now is project 21 Lawrence Cooper and luis miranda. Why are the democrats rushing to embrace the socialist model that is clearly crashing and burning before our very eyes in europe . I dont think that is the case for starters. I think you have a very important primary, to actually see regaining his support that he had lost. I think its too close to tell, and i think that will be a primary process that leaves him with the strong candidate. So socialism is in becoming more popular in your party . You know all the polls are showing socialism. We can say two plus two is five but i can actually tell you what these polls are saying. I wish it werent so, and what i want to tell you now is they are actually embracing socialism as we see it taking europe. One is socialism is on the rise with progressives and the democrats and Vice President joe biden is in the middle of a meltdown. When you stand up and you issue a statement that you havent lost your mind, its a little bit reminiscent of back in the 70s when the New York Times wrote a story on the ten dumbest u. S. Senators, and its not a sign of a successful campaign, not the sign of a winner and this is a problem because the socialist are going to rush past the old, tired joe biden that cant seem to figure out. I think donald trump takes the cake. He just went to the g7 and you bring russia back in when he is basically they threatened europe and we could talk about that for an hour. But biden didnt know where he or he this weekend. Hes done that kind of a lot. Could his guests which voters may have found endearing when he was Vice President , its kind of catching up with him. Here he is on friday. I want to play this for people after he got confused about where he was speaking. I just spoke at dartmouth on health care, at the medical school. Or i guess it wasnt actually on campus but people from the medical school. I want to be clear, im not going nuts and im not sure whether it was medical school or where i spoke but it was on campus. Im not a spokesman for him but he was clearly correcting it because he knew he would be called out for saying that. When you compare to some of the things that donald trump was saying including suggesting that he was going to buy greenland including suggesting that russia should be rewarded, he talked about he had gone back for policy. Thank you both for being here. Short segment but it was great. Still ahead are owned Raymond Arroyo hit the once glamorous streets of malibu. I cant miss report moments away. And a conservator group is targeting by a spike concerning the media with tactics. As is the right thing to do . Thats coming up next laura the New York Times is very, very angry tonight. Conservatives are daring to fight back against conservatives and their time in the cohorts in the media, theyve use these for years to target the right. Trace gallagher has all the juicy details for us tonight. The New York Times says these are white house allies calling them you can quote a Loose Network of conservative operatives that plan to discredit news organizations hostile to the president by publishing damaging information about their journalists, like embarrassing public statements and social media posts. They say that the research will also extend to journalist families but the paper cant confirm how significant these embarrassing claims might be. And she acknowledges that some of this might be exaggeration aimed at intimidating news outlets. And cnn was outraged at the findings saying the times investigation finds clear abandonment of democracy. But then network engaged in similar behavior back in 2017 when a cnn reporter tracked down the creator of this edited video showing trump beating cnn in a wrestling ring after the man apologized and promised not to do it again come cnn agreed they would not identify him but adding this quote. Cnn reserves the right to identify him. The paper itself recently published an oped encouraging immigration lawyers and journalists to publish names, photos and videos of the i. C. E. Agents involved in separation of children from their families at the border. As a former trump aide said two can play at this game. Laura once the white house say about all this . The president or the was aware of this operation. Laura thanks so much tonight. Here now is charlie kirk. President and founder, charlie, the media folks can really dish it out. I always think of my mother saying you can dish it out but you cant take it. I mean, they think they should be able to say anything or do anything, be biased, smear people, its white supremacist. And yet their motive, their own political background should never be able to be called into question. Or am i overstating this . You are spot on. They are using the word doxxing. There was no private information made public. What was done here is somebody went to twitter advanced search, typed in tweets of a New York Times editor and found he said things such as happy year. Then the New York Times releases this bizarre memo that they sent to their staff and said will not take these attacks in a free press. Just because you are a journalist doesnt mean you get a get out of bigotry jail free card. It doesnt mean that if you work with New York Times you are somehow allowed to be perfectly absolved from whatever was said and the same people that doxxed the covington kids and that it doesnt matter what Brett Kavanaugh did 35 years ago in high school, if they want to play by these rules of engagement, its a new day and holding the political economists accountable. Laura basically anyone who agrees with trumps burning crosses on trump salon. They throw around that race word pretty casually and i think its getting tedious and poisonous, people were coming up to me. I want to play for you to most absurd moments in the media over the weekend. Heres cnn Brian Stelter engaging in some rank speculation that he would no doubt condemn if we were able to suggested, about a democrat. Watch. When you watch a broadcast nightly news cast, how often do you hear about just how far off the road trump is . Not often enough. Its really a series of questions that no one is able to answer. Is there a method to the madness or is there something wrong . Is he suffering some sort of illness . Laura if that wasnt enough, cnns resident media home on this are invited this unhinged doctor on the show to offer the following. While trump is crazy for hiding the fact that we even crazier for allowing his crazy policies to persist. Trump is as destructive of a person, and he may be responsible for more than you say. He somehow allowed to be immune from any criticism of what his past tweets are. And i dont get that. First thing is first. I dont like comparisons to hitler and stalin, specifically. And we should avoid those whenever possible so i dont agree with that. However there is the issue here of Brian Stelter, i dont believe he was operating in a journalist cut capacity. So thats based on opinion and supported by facts and, there was a psychiatrist theyre making that assertion. If there is a campaign between politicians targeting journalists and journalists are not following the code of ethics, we do have to worry about the First Amendment and free speech. I defend your right, laura, and say what you say. Journalists have to be careful that when they are operating in a journalist capacity that they are following their code of ethics and if not the editors and publicists could hold them to account. Laura charlie, does that mean what they we have anchors at cnn that get away with the conduct that if any of us they would never work again. Now lets move on from the next story. Its lots of double standards and its absurd. So this is a fleet of journalists that donald trump has talked to in the last 40 years. Now theyre offended that as simple as typing in the past tweets of one of their editors . We are supposed to feel sorry for the New York Times. This is an attack on the free press. No, people were simply looking into twitter to find past racist statements that were said. The gold they were never again going to be psychiatrics or people in the Psychiatric Community that would make a judgment on someones mental judgment in the public sphere. Now all of a sudden they have thrown that out the window because thats how much they hate President Trump. Laura charlie ethan, thank you so much. Ralph reed is here to respond to that. And that is how bad its getting out there. Laura heres tonights warped did you know, courtesy of the democrat party. You know that socialism is one of the bedrock principles of the bible. Well, here is frequent msnbc and reverend William Barber at the dnc summer meeting msnbc contributor that is that is. If someone calls it socialism then we must prepare them to acknowledge that the bible must stand for socialism because offered Free Health Care to everyone and never charged a leper a copay. Its time for us to say, if you want to have that date, bring it on. Laura ralph reda, chairman of the faith and Freedom Coalition takes that challenge. And that does mean Big Government so now that Pete Buttigieg and reverend barber, they are all pushing that christian message. They are emerging and if they lost the evangelical vote by 65point some of the catholic vote by ten points. They kind of belatedly realized that if their party kicks the voters of faith in the teeth and calls them your redeemable and essentially says they are deplorable, those people might not be drawn to them. So now, they are struggling for this religious language and religious connections and what we get is this portrayal of jesus christ of the birkenstock wearing socialist, and thats a religious communist manifesto. I dont think this will sell in the heartland because the good news is christians in america know their bible. And it talks about the importance of work and the importance of being productive and it teaches the principle of subsidiarity which, yes, we are called to care for the poor and the needy and the alien and the stranger. At that call as to the faithful. It calls to those closest to the need to meet that need, not Big Government or bureaucrats in washington. Laura mayor pete like i mentioned, he is making his own concerted effort to and over the evangelicals. The catholic vote, i think that has gotten a little bit wobbly since 2016 frankly. And he told the ap this. My goal is for people of faith who believe it there is some implication of how it participates in politics to be aware that they have choices. I want people to know that when im gutted by some of these ideas, its not something i think to impose on someone else. Thats part of my formation, part of how i come at the world. It sounds like a bad homily from a liberal priest that came up through the 60s and 70s. I love my church but ive sat through some bad homily is. Ralph, your thoughts on that . Im still waiting on one of the is whether its reverend barber or mayor pete to give us the scripture that justifies lateterm abortion and infanticide. So here is what i think people are hungering for. I think they are hungering for leaders who can make a connection between their faith and their values and from public policy. They are not looking for somebody to argue that christianity is a partisan faith that represents one side or the other. But when it comes to the sanctity of life and religious freedom and support for israel and the protection of the least among us, and speaking out for the poor, its a question of what is most effective, whats most efficacious and whats closest to those in need of. And Big Government will be the last one to do that. We have seen the way its done. With the rise and socialism is also the rise in American Value is changing. They reveal that younger generations would have different priorities nearly two decades ago. Patriotism has dropped to 61 from 71 in 1998 among those under the age of 50. Religion 50 down from 62 . In the most troubling statistic is the importance of having children is down to just 43 . And someone who still ranks all three of those things very highly and is just weeks away from giving birth to her ninth child. Joining us now Rachel Campos duffy. We talked about whats happening in your family and seans decision to retire in just a moment. But what is causing this decline in our values and outlook for our moral compass . Its interesting because the wall street journal that covers this poll interviewed women in their 60s. The truth is, we pass our values onto our kids and too many kids are very passive about it. They are outsourcing it to teachers, to schools, to celebrities. And if you do that they are not going to pass on if you indeed value patriotism, faith and religion, family and children. I think what happens is a lot of parents underestimate just how much influence they have over their children and that goes for grandparents, too. They really underestimate their influence. So i say you have to use the dinner table, the car. Watch movies with your kids. You can interject your own values and he would be surprised how much influence and impact you actually do have. These are not as Ronald Reagan said pass through the bloodstream. And we are not leading by example. If you want your kids to value patriotism, if you want we want to put down the phone. Thats true. Im guilty of all that. Laura im very guilty of it. How is sean doing . We will miss him in congress. But how is he doing . We are all doing a really good. Its just you want to put your family first, and he made a decision that based on the decision we have coming up with this baby, and our band with this pretty tight as it is anyway, and take care of family stuff, and what god has in store for us next. He put out a tweet today that said, im not dead because theres been so many great responses but he feels like its like his funeral. But its not, its a wonderful thing and its exciting after we take care of this little girl thats going to come into our lives in late october. The one you and sean are an inspiration and we are praying for you and your family and its a beautiful family. Thank you for your witness, we appreciate it. Coming up, the Pacific Coast highway. Its one of the most beautiful stretches in the United States, some of the most expensive real estate. When did it become a homeless encampment . Raymond arroyo hit the road and takes us exclusively to malibu. You wont believe what he found,. Longer hours. Eyes today are stressed next. Ocuvite. Eye nutrition for today. Laura we have a new series for you thats launching this week called arroyo on the road. He will be hitting different parts of the country and will reveal them every day. This first stop tonight, a real going for arraignment. At malibu as in california. This l. A. Homeless crisis is spreading even to your exclusive enclave. What did you find . The homelessness in l. A. Is no longer confined to skid row or underpasses. Its finding its way into some of the enclaves and communities in city. Homeles i. Has become a true epidemic in the last seven years, theres been an 80 increase of homelessness on the streets. And among those 1824, 24 increase. Thats 59,000 people on the streets every night looking for shelter. Its a tragic senior residential areas and businesses in venice beach. The drug addicted, out of work, or mentally ill have created roving encampments on the sidewalk. Fills a bucket near this grocery parking lot. Human waste is splattered on a nearby wall. Though all must collect in jars kept in their tents or makeshift shelters. And here in malibu, homelessness is increased 413 . Now a lot of that is attributable to People Living in the rvs and campers and trailers. And buses along the Pacific Coast highway. In 201811 people live like this. Today, its approaching 100. Most of the long term campers didnt to speak. How long have you been here . I cant say man. I got to go guys. Im sorry, im late. Oscar, a millennial living in an rv among the Pacific Coast highway was willing to talk. How long have you lived along the coast . Ive lived here for about on and off to be honest since july of 2,018. So a couple of years. I had a business but right now im just going back to learning. So im doing some studying right now and just being i guess its selfdiscovery. Whats the biggest challenge living out here in an rv . I would say the complaints. Actually i havent had any complaints for a while so its nice. But its on and off, its been about two months since the police came by so its pretty nice. And there is no signs posted so they cant do anything about it. My business went under a little bit, and ive been using my moms money so i didnt really want to do that anymore. So im using the government helping out. This is the kitchen and i remodeled all this myself. But it is i have to say, you have the best of you. This is like is like beachfront property. How long do you think you will continue . To be honest, i just go day by day. You are kind of like an organic, granola outlaw. I guess you could say that. Los angeles homeless epidemic is not to go away anytime soon. They are now social Media Influencers teaching people how to live in their cars. In addition to which, at the century city where those from the outside are competing for lowincome housing and jobs. Im Raymond Arroyo for fox news. Laura but i dont understand about this is, how is that homeless . Hes living in an rv and he seems like its a little bit like mad max meets bill and teds excellent adventure. They are working, but they are considered homeless by l. A. County because they are not residents and they are paying taxes and they shouldnt be there. Four years ago there was laws against this in a court order slap that down and now they can roam around and stay where they want and its not enforced. The residents are really up in arms and we will talk about that later in the week. Laura maybe they pay for their own medicine. We look forward to your report tomorrow. Trump has warned us about the drug known as fence and all. Weve been hearing about this for some time and its getting worse. How Many Americans it is it killing and how many of those deaths be contributed to china . While thats a new part of the story, and a new the ingraham angle investigation, next laura President Trump has been sounding the alarm over fentanyl but are enough people listening . First some background on this incredibly hideous, awful, deadly drug, where its coming from. Fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opioid often sold as a street drug. It gets its hard to believe. At times 50 times stronger than heroin. In 2015, it surpassed prescription opioids as the most lethal overdose substance. Now its linked to nearly three times as many death, nearly 32,000 Americans Last year. That number ten years ago wasnt even 3,000. The drug has largely its produced in china where it enters the United States. Gets here directly into the country through parcels. Component parts. Second, its shipped to mexico, oftentimes Component Parts put together and then smuggled into the United States by the cartels. Here is a former special agent with the dea. Derek, today china set america could do more to stop fentanyl. Of course america could do more. They could do more. People are dying at record levels. Poor families and communities around this country are waking up to the horror of their children passed out and dead from overdoses of this poison coming from china and mexico. Yes, the u. S. Needs to do a lot more. I like to say how President Trump inherited a dysfunctional mess, not everybody wants to know wise everybody addicted to these drugs . Because big pharma was pumping out the drugs and then the mexican cartels took complete advantage. Speak to a judgment in court today i believe it was Johnson Johnson in oklahoma on the issue of opioid addiction. Well see if it gets overturned on appeal. For the chinese to say you could do more to stop fentanyl, they know exactly what theyre doing. This isnt a joke. People are dead, found with needle stuck in their arms. Abandoned cars, homeless encampments. People are dead on the streets of l. A. Just so people know, in america, the chinese are way more involved in the drug business then sending fentanyl to the u. S. They are involved with monitoring money laundering. Selling all the drug paraphernalia. The little envelopes in new york, the stamped envelopes. They are using their connections in china and their ability to make so much money and they are absolutely dominating working with the mexican cartels because they are making billions. They do know. Its a weapons of mass destruction against this country. Speak to mexico and china together killing our people. Thank you for your work on this thank you for your work on this in your your being here.
