Overwhelmed by the radical chic in their own party. They seem to have an antisemitism problem. R. Kelly speaks out an expletive new interview claiming hes not hes not the victim. But first, the democrats big border lie. Thats the focus of ten nights angle. Homeland security secretary Kirstjen Nielsen went to capitol hill to share a dose of something called reality with congress. We face a crisis, a real, serious, sustained crisis of our borders. We have tens of thousands of illegal aliens arriving at our doorstep every month. We have drugs, criminals, and violence spilling into our country every week. Illegal immigration is simply spiraling out of control. Laura lets break it down to the cold, hard facts. In the month of february, 76,000 illegal aliens were apprehended at the border. Thats just the ones apprehended. A 30 increase from the previous month apprehensions. From the year before, its even worse. This is an 80 increase over the same time last year. And i report today they are forecasting the problem will get even worse this spring as the weather warms up. Laura could be getting worse . We could be looking, yes, at nearly 1 million illegals crossing our border if the trends continue. If these numbers hold, every four months, we will import the equivalent of the population of richmond, virginia, or baton rouge, louisiana, into the United States. And this isnt a National Emergency . Lets face it. Most democrats know that this is a crisis. The sheer volume of crossers is overwhelming our facilities. Liberals blame trump . When a migrant doesnt see a doctor immediately. As with their embrace of infanticide and reparations, medicare for all, democrats have gone far far left on immigration. Then now, they are in effect for open borders. There are other options. Ankle bracelets. Other options to incarcerating and holding everybody by the thousands. There are programs that will enable people to go into our communities and to be able to be tracked in our communities. Laura what is that . They already put ankle break bracelets on a lot of the Illegal Immigrants and they team off. Terrifying. I bet she doesnt understand the basic facts of immigration. While we are creating these brandnew plans to hold little immigrants accountable and track them, lets not forget who is footing the bill here. Guess what the cost is . 82,000 per year per illegal immigrant in the United States. And then of course the children they have and the children are citizens. Democrats prefer to focus on noncitizens. Their treatment, their medical care, and their race. You wanted to separate children and their families and you want to do it with compassion . You have no feeling, no compassion, no empathy. White babies would not be treated the way these babies of color are being treated, madam secretary. This is about color. We have opened our doors, your tired, your poor, huddled masses yearning to breathe free. We have our photo of people of color. Laura very dramatic when he whispers. The democrats stick to one, may be two notes and they are always off key. For the record, madam secretary, are we still using cages for children . Sir, we dont use cages for children. In the border facilities event two, they were not made to detain children. To my knowledge, they never purposely put a child in the cage. Purposely or whatever, are we putting children in cages of today . Children are processed at the border facility stations that youve been at. I have seen the cages. I want you to admit that the cages exist. Sir, they are not cages. Laura well, you know what that is . On the screen right there. Thats a socalled cage that the congressman was referring to but its kind of a fencing thing, and enclosure for sure. It was used by the Obama Administration to detain illegal miners during their processing until they could be placed with sponsors. Where was the democrat outrage when obama was using the same fencing facilities that liberal dogooders now deplore and make a big deal about it in a hearing to get on shows like this. Well, instead of focusing on the surge at the border and the lack of facilities to house the people, democrats are throwing sand and throwing down the race card. Its all they know these days. When the cdp commissioner testified to the Senate Judiciary committee that walls and barriers in key hot spots along the border had an Immediate Impact in reducing the crossings, senator senator blumenthal didnt want to hear any of it. Border crossings are still at a historic low compared to other times in our nations history. No, senator, they are not. We are on pace for over 700,000 crossings this year. That is closer to historic highs and lows. Laura the commissioner is 100 right. Over 60 of the total apprehensions along the border are now illegal family units and unaccompanied alien minors. Those under the age of 18. New dhs figures find those apprehensions of illegal family units have surged by 338 but no emergency here, no crisis. The apprehensions of unaccompanied children are 54 . Thats not dangerous for them, right . No emergency, no crisis. How about this . Because of the increasing violence, at i. C. E. , when we have families with children, we have to give every girl a pregnancy test over 10. This is not a safe journey. Laura girls are being abused, raped, and in some cases traffic as part of these caravans and its despicable whats happening to these young people. Congress needs to get its head out of the sand and stop this madness once and for all. If someone crosses the border illegally with rare exception, they should be turned back immediately. Family units or people posing as family units would not make this dangerous trek once word spread in their home country. Congress should pass this law. If you want to apply for asylum, thats fine. But you should do so in the safety of your home country or, as is beginning to happen now, once youre in the United States and you declare, you should be sent to mexico until your case comes up for hearing. We have a backlog right now of 800,000 immigration cases. The Current System today is obvious. Everybody knows this. Democrats knows this. It incentivizes human trafficking, the abusive kids, and more legal crossings. Any democrat or any republican who refuses to act now are the ones who are truly lacking in the feeling and the compassion and the empathy not only for the illegal immigrant but for the American People we are supposed to be representing. Thats the angle. House democrats arent doing anything about the crash at the border. They are too busy grappling with the growing radicalism within their own ranks. Now House Democrats are focused on watering down a resolution condemning antisemitism and not even mentioning congresswoman ilhan omar by name when she is no one this all should be really all about. Two wausau, wisconsin,s a month coming into america. The clips you played, i find it fascinating democrats are trying to say we dont want to put kids in cages and this is a race but the bottom line is i thought what nielsen said it was really important. They are giving pregnancy tests to girls as young as 10 years old because they know that women who come, young girls become other dangerous journey, they are raped, sexually assaulted. If you care about kids, set up a policy that doesnt incentivize the cartels and the parents to bring kids on a dangerous journey where they are sexually assaulted. The other thing that i see celebrities do all the time, the name they use out in the world, r. Kelly versus robert, its not just compartmentalization. The thing you know of as the celebrity, they distance themselves from it as though its a cartoon character, so when people criticize that celebrity r. Kelly, the it doet get to me, robert. Laura i want to get your thoughts, you mentioned the issue with Michael Jackson and hbo is out with a new documentary about mj called leaving neverland. It details years for superstar allegedly abused two young boys. Lets watch. Theres no thoughts on this is wrong or anything like that. He told me if they ever found out what we were doing, he and i would go to jail. For the rest of our lives. Laura dr. Drew, why is this coming out now . I mean, it was he was on trial. He won, there were settlements. Hes dead. Whats going on here . We dont know what the allegations, we dont know if they are true or not but the documentary shows the grooming process, precisely how it happens. If you saw oprahs interview after the leaving neverland i can park, she about it. How this is really important for people to understand. It is something people are drawn into. Its not painful and its not an attack. Its a grooming process. By the same token, because they loved Michael Jackson, they wanted to protect them, they had all these ambivalent feelings that when they really woke up to what he had been doing to them, there was a flood of emotions and then there was a desire to talk about it. The theory here, if these allegations are true, they finally got enough distance. In both mens case, it was the fact that they are children that they started to look at the child and go oh, my god, something did somebody did something to me when i was young and it was unbelievable and the emotional flood broke through. Someone chose to tell the story, whether its true or not. Laura hes not around to defend himself. None of us knows if its true or false. The difficulty. I think we are waking up from a slumber. I really do. I believe we are waking up from a slumber from the 70s. All the years i was on love line, i was saying there were horrible things going on and we were accepting it. If you look at the pictures of Michael Jackson running around of the kids, you go oh, my god. We were all groomed into excepting that. W. Mack of history where a lot of things were acceptable that were not acceptable. Laura i think a lot of things are still acceptable i disagree. Why is hillary saying that . I think she knows its not true. So why . Because she thinks it will get her some votes. Thats the reason politicians say a lot of things and are not true. Laura Hillary Clinton, so many others are are now talking about reparations. Trump is a racist. Its race, race, race, immigration policy is racist. The race word is a constant. Its like abortion and race in todays Democrat Party. It is, and i have a feeling that Many Americans would just as soon not hear any more about race. There are people for whom this is their ticket to whatever racket they are running, including the political racket. Its tragic. Whats tragic is there so many people out there who simply respond to words rather than ask themselves, is what this person says true . How can i check it and so on. Laura do you think that with the Jussie Smollett case in chicago and now we have this r. Kelly guy who was accused of r. Kelly is not focusing on race but the smollett case became one about race. It was novels like there were certain people out there who were disappointed when it seems like this thing with a big hoax. They wanted this to be a racial incident, racial hate crime reinforcing the stereotypes that this is whats wrong with Society Today. The overriding problem in Society Today is one of race. Tom. Well, you know, its like in football. They are to run that play until someone finds a way to stop it. As long as it pays off, theyre going to keep doing it. Whats painful to me is how few people there are today who bother to check out the facts. In many cases, just the smallest effort of checking out the facts would cost so many of these things to fall apart. We have a whole history of this, going back to a woman in the 19something and then another case. Any number of these things. As long as they keep succeeding politically, they will continue to run that play. Laura do you think President Trump would do well to make, like monthly trips to underserved, more underprivileged areas or to traditionally black colleges, communities of color, where he can just talk about wise policies are working on why the economy is growing opportunities, jobs, greater employment et cetera. Would you recommend that he do that . I dont think the venue matters that much. There has to be some thoughtful notions about how free markets and other kinds of activities that are different from one are normally heard, how those things impact. I dont see any sign of that of any significance unfortunately from the republicans. I never cease to be amazed at how many opportunities they let go by. Right now for example, democrats around the country are lighting up to stop Charter Schools from expanding, trying to cut back on them. Many of them are the very schools that are most successful, they are the ones they are zeroing in on, places like Success Academy or chip schools. The democrats, and understand they have to do that because they are beholden to the teachers unions. But why the republicans dont say anything about it, thats what baffles me. Laura truly prochoice initiatives that actually help individuals and so im just focusing on blocks of individuals. Dr. Sowell, aoc, alexandria ocasiocortez, she has spoken a lot about socialism and being a democrat socialist. She is a young person, 28 years old. She is representing a decent chunk of the Democrat Party today. I want to play something for you and have you react. Lets watch. When millennials talk about concepts like democratic socialism, we are not talking about these kind of red scare bogeyman. We are talking about singlepayer health care. We are talking about tuition free public colleges and universities. We are talking about a living wage. We are talking about guaranteed basic levels of dignity. Laura it sounds good to a lot of young people, and the focus group from cnn we just alluded to, they seem very excited about these concepts. What are republicans not doing . The republicans are not saying anything that ive heard. Of course all these things sound wonderful. Its just that we now have more than half a century of knowledg knowledge, a track record of these kinds of ideas being put into practice in countries around the world and failing time and time again. Not merely failing but making things worse than they were before. Venezuela is the classic case, and yet during the whole period when people are starving in venezuela under socialism, the young people are, right out of our colleges, are flocking to Bernie Sanders because they are judging by his words and how wonderful it sounds and not by what happens when you try to put those notions into practice.
