Insurance, you finally are in a position to get something at an affordable price. They said that these rates would come in real high and everybodys premiums would be sky high. The prices came in lower than we expected. Lower than i predicted. The growth of Health Care Costs is down and thats good for our middle class and thats good for our fiscal future. Health care prices have risen at the lowest rates in years. Obamacare premiums are set to spike at an average of 25 . If you live in arizona, they might increase by 116 . Other battleground states could see hikes of 53 and 40 . Premiums are skyrocketing, as many critics predicted. But dont blame the president , says the president. A lot of times, they just report premium increases and everybody thinks, wow, my insurance rates are going up. It must be obamas fault. Even though you dont get Health Insurance through obamacare, you get it through your job. Even though your increases have gone up a lot slower. Thanks, obama eric, can you take us through the numbers. Isnt it called obamacare . What do you mean you had nothing to do with it and isnt that what weve been warning you about for the better part of four or five years . They pointed out arizona, 116 . North carolina and how about minnesota, another battleground state. Theres only one insurer. Insurers have moved out. 59 increase there. Pennsylvania, 53 . Utah, dead tied, 20 increases there. Forget that for a minute. In that same speech that obama talked about failures in advance of what we found out yesterday, he compares obamacare to the galaxy note, the one that starts on fire and they have to pull off the market. Youre not allowed to have it on a plane anymore. He said something like, you dont go back from smartphones because one of them starts on fire. No. You do. You start over. You pull it off the market while people are getting burned or dying if one blows up on the airplane. And by the way, because theres a smartphone, the reason theres a competition called the iphone, so what donald trump should do, even Hillary Clinton at this point should do is say, heres how we should fix the Health Care System in america. And that is going to be on the minds of a lot of people because its not just the premiums that have gone up, its also that deductibles are really high and especially here in manhattan, the number of doctors who say they are not taking on the insurance. You know what the fix is going to be . More poison. Obamacare was destined to fail, according to the left, because it wasnt pure enough. And thats the philosophy behind all socialism in the last 100 some odd years. Its never the idea. Its the implementation and would only work better if you were more subservient to government. Its a lesson in socialism. As long as your heart is in the right place, your hands can go anywhere. Just ask bill clinton. And sooner or later, you run out of wealthy people and the people who get hurt in this massive program of redistribution because thats what it is. The reason the premiums are going up, more people are paying it so other people dont. Its a redistribution and socialist scream. You soon end up runs out of the rich and hurt the middle class. Kimberly, people who didnt have insurance before and then got insurance through obamacare, they kind of like it. So fewer people are able to pay but the democrat solution is subsidies which come from where . The taxpayers and youre continuing to use the same source of power and revenue stream over and over again and eventually it taps out. Yes, you may be doing good for some people but what is the overall structure of it and is it built to last . No. Because it cannot survive the way its presently designed. It will do itself in in a matter of time. Were seeing that happen very quickly. It was predicted but now youre seeing the fallout in rapid succession and obviously they didnt put enough time and thought and energy into it because they were just trying to rush it, get it out to market. A few lawsuits, a few deaths along the way after it happens, it was their whole ideology that they were more interested in putting forward than actually quality, Affordable Health care. Juan, i bet you would disagree. I do to some extent. Where i agree, i think theres a problem and youve heard that not only from donald trump but from Hillary Clinton and bill clinton, famously who said this thing is going crazy and from president obama. Everybody says there needs to be steps to fix the system. It was out of whack for six decades. People are trying to fix it. Obamacare was an effort to do that. Now youve got a situation where youve got premiums going up and i think a key thing here is what president obama just said. He said this doesnt affect most americans who get their Health Insurance through their employer and premiums are going down and 70 of the people currently enrolled in obamacare, guess what, they can still get a plan for under 100 a month, 83 of them get subsidies. So even in that marketplace, what youre seeing is, gee, most of these people will do pretty well. The problem is people who make just too much money, some of the Small Business owners that weve heard discussed. But again, to take it away, it comes back to what we were saying earlier, heres a better idea. Heres something that will work because if you take it away right now, you will start to affect a larger market of people who realize Insurance Companies cant deny coverage right now under obamacare, children are able to stay on until they are 26. You cant have a lifetime cap. To your point, you know, what do you replace it with, this is the twofold disaster of obamacare. Its not just obamacare. The real damage is what you could have had instead. Every social program has another consequence, an invisible consequence. What private alternative could there have been that we no longer pursue because we chose the government answer and its always inferior to the private answer and to kimberlys point about why it was rushed is because the media was for it. The media refused to connect the dots. Also, there were deals done in the back rooms. Remember those . Yeah. President obama came in and had the democrats he had the captive audience. He pushed it through. One of the reasons why obamacare is failing right now, its something we warned about here for years that young people would take the fine instead of buying obamacare. Its too expensive. They say, you know what, im not going to buy obamacare. Im not going to support the system for a lot of the elderly sucking the assets out of the system. Somebody has to put it in. They were expecting young people to pay up. Its going to be cheaper to take the fine. Donald trump spoke about this earlier. I think hillary issued a paper statement but we have donald trump on camera so we are television so we will show it to you. Obamacare is just blowing up and even the white house, the president announced 25, 26 . That numbers so wrong. Were talking about 70, 80 increases. Obamacare has to be repealed and replaced and it has to be replaced for something much less expensive. All of my employees are having a tremendous problem with obamacare. You folks, this is another group. You look at what they are going through, what they are going through with the health care horrible because of obamacare. Kimberly, its like a political gift two weeks before the election, obamacare, and yet trump got it wrong there. His employees get Health Coverage through him, through his company, through the benefits, not from obamacare. Still, hes going to try to make a go of it. Right. Wrong group but correct sentiment yall out there, not just here in front of me. Out there. I would take this all the way and run. Its like an interception and run it back. Right as the buzzer goes off. Its true. Its the whole thing where, listen, they knew that this wasnt going to work. The architect talked about it and in laughing about pulling it over on the american people, its such a thing thats so important which is health care, for those who really need it, the elderly people facing more medical crises in their life, you want to rely on them to not try to perpetuate a fraud on you and instead they did with gleeful delight and its caught up with them quicker than they thought. After the election, unfortunately, its coming before november 8th. Give them credit, they didnt delay it. They announced it. When i look of the politics thank you for telling me now instead of two weeks. Thank you for killing me now instead of in two weeks. They put out what is bad news for them right now. I dont think they had a choice because Insurance Companies were the Insurance Companies we knew that part. They also put out that they expect more people now to enroll because they can have a higher income and still qualify. Because of the subsidies. The politics of it, which interests me greatly, could this be a game changer two weeks going into the election, i looked at the gallup and in the house and senate races, republicans are making a deal about it. But the numbers, when people are asked, what do you care about in terms of noneconomic issues the premiums are going up and their deductibles are skyrocketing which is another after effect and Middle America right now is getting squeezed. They cant afford health care, they cant afford obamacare, they are told they cant work 40 hours a week because they will be considered full time and theyd be put on the Health Care System. Id push back aggressively on your assessment that america doesnt care about obamacare. Its not my assessment. Its the gallup poll. But when you look at what democrats, 74 of democrats support this law, 76 of republicans support the law. Independents are split. After we find out that premiums are skyrocketing . I think the other part is that we can definitely win the military battle. We can win that. Its the question of what we are willing to do to keep the peace and you still have to work out with the various actors, the kurds, the shia, they dont have any revenge tactics against the sunni. You have to figure out that diplomatic piece and figure out a way to stop the isis, whoever has not been killed, but those who are left, if they melt back into the shadows. Right. Its not just a military war but an ideological war and not one of our choosing. Its one that we have to fight. Theres one other method that i dont even know if people are employing. There are two sources of income. Number one is the oil fieldses and they are clearly using that and bringing it back into turkey and other western countries even and selling the oil. So you have to cut off their supply of money through that. If youre caught dealing with isis, youre done. The other income is revenue producing thing that they do is they charge people to live. Right. Like the mob does. If you want to stay safe, you have to pay us. Let them do that but corner them. Get them into raqqah and eventually they will fold. They dont have enough money to survive. But the problem is, theyve been preparing for this day. They knew a day of reckoning was coming. Dont underestimate them. They are prepared to take as many losses and casualties as possible. I told you briefly about this yesterday, our brave soldiers have been fighting the war on terror so how does our government thank them for their service, by demanding that they return their reenlistment bonuses. Its outrageous. The california guard was short on troops so they enticed soldiers to reenlist for 15,000 or more. Brave men and women signed on the dotted line and fulfilled their duty but now the pentagon says their bonuses were improperly paid and has been demanding the money back with interest. Many of the soldiers are now struggling to find the cash to pay it back. Defense secretary ash carter commented on the controversy today. Anybody who volunteers to serve in the armed forces of the United States deserves our gratitude and respect. Period. We are going to look into it and its a significant issue. A significant issue. You asked them to serve, you asked them to put their bodies, their blood, their families could suffer tremendous loss if they dont come home and now we say pay me back with interest. This is actually one of the rare occasions where the outrage is palpably real. Its so unbelievable that you think its not actually real. But it reveals the blind eye of bureaucracy. If your job is to shuffle papers from pile a to b, its predicated ongoing really smooth but the bumps in that transition are called humans. If you see youre over budget or it doesnt make sense, you forget that these are human beings. Thats the problem with the evil and bureaucracy with Big Government and why decentralization is important. This would be something hugely unpopular to do and you wouldnt even have to flip a coin to figure out what was the right call on this. Well, tough call. Anybody got a quarter on them . No. Bad idea. Trying to get money back from the irs, ten years and they will tell you statute of limitation has run out. Were not going to give you your money back with interest. The numbers are not small.
