Numbers are going on this, what im really thinking about is all those people who are going to have a chance to say goodbye. Dana more than 31,000 people have died from covid19 in the United States. The governor of new york, the epicenter of the outbreak in the u. S. Announced he is today extending the state stay at home order to may 15th. Lets bring in chief White House Correspondent john roberts fly from the north lawn. Good afternoon, this hour the president has got a van on the south want to thank the nations truckers who have kept the wheels rolling through this entire crisis earning food and medical supplies and other goods to where they need to be and then at 5 00 this afternoon, the president will unveil those longawaited guidelines to begin the process of reopening the country. Fox news is told that these guidelines will be a safe, data driven approach. They will be later t layered, by not a cookiecutter mold. Will be led by the governors and experts we are told are in agreement with what will be announced this afternoon. The president is going to have a Conference Call with all 50 of the nations governors. He will lay out the guidelines to them. Last night, the president saying that some governors will be able to move more quickly than others. Listen here. You already know will be opening up states, some states much sooner than others whom we think some of the states can actually open up before the deadline of may 1st and i think that will be a very exciting time indeed. Governors are looking for it, chomping at the bit to get going. Again, not all states are the same. They were some 20 states out there that might be able to have it before the current guidelines that are in place expiring on april the 30th. I am told tonewise, the president is going to salute all of those brave people who got us to where we are today. The doctors and nurses and First Responders who were on the front lines, all the support people behind them in the state and local officials who worked so hard to try to find their way through this but the president will also say it is time now to start to look ahead to reopening the country because there are experts, and youve had them on your program and weve had them here on fox news who are warning of a second wave of casualties if we keep this economy closed much longer. Ben carson was talking about that this morning saying that there was a cost to opening the country back up because the virus is still there, but theres also a great cost to keeping the country closed so a lot of big pressure on both sides of the equation here is the president tries to navigate a path down the middle. Dana . Dana so many decisions to make. Thank you, john roberts. Lets bring in chief political inker bret baier. Is the president prepares to talk to governors this afternoon in the reopening just today at noon Governor Cuomo says actually, we are not going to be seeing this reopening of relief of the shutdown order until ma may 15th and people are starting to push back and other places and yet they seem to also be understanding that the officials are trying their best to figure this out. Good afternoon. I think its going to be a balancing act and the president despite starting out saying when we say its open, its open. I think he is more in the mindset of providing the guidelines, the blueprint for governors to follow as they see the evidence on the ground and what theyre dealing with. I think thats what youre going to see from the white house, but very specific around the country and that would be a rolling kind of operation were some places are obviously going to go before other places created the Economic Statistics are staggering, 22 Million People filing for unemployment already. You have the spa Program Running out of money, 1. 6 million loans sent out, but they dont have any more money so if you havent had an application approved, there is not money there and thats a really big moment here in washington for the administration and capitol hill. Dana speaking of that, is there an update on replenishing the fund . There was an effort to have unanimous consent that it could increase by 250 billion, that was shot down by democrats. Nancy pelosi wrote most recently over the past 24 hours saying she heard information that the funds were running low but hadnt seen confirmation that it was. They put out a Statement Today saying thats it, the funds are out. Unless they replenish them. Thats all. Dana and they have to do it by unanimous consent because theyre not there altogether. Also wanted to ask you about some reporting that you had last night, so describe for us more of what youre hearing from the intelligence officials about the origin of this virus. When asked about this on the record publicly, the chairman joint chief said that the intelligence is inconclusive, that the virus came from that lab in wuhan, but that it does look like it is natural. You have heard that now from the defense secretary and also from secretary pompeo. Dana shall we play that sound actually . If you dont mind, i do have that sound from secretary esper, the defense secretary, lets listen to that and how we react. The results are inconclusive if you will. A majority of the view is right now is that its natural and it was organic but i think we need to continue to work this and once we get beyond the pandemic, will have a chance to look back and figure out what happened and then to take the proper precautions to make sure we prevent this in the future. Dana what else are we hearing from china in reaction to this . They are it was not created in a lab, but there is an important distinction here that multiple sources are saying that the body of evidence, the open source and classified as leading them to connect dots, increasingly confident that it was a botched effort to study these viruses and that lab, not that it was created as a bio weapon i in the lab were create, it was not genetically altered and there is evidence that the virus was not genetically altered. They say it was natural is what youre going to see you, but they were more and more dots here and thats where the sourcing is coming from. In addition to that, we have confirmation that that wuhan lab was the focus of real concern by u. S. Officials who send back warnings through the beijing embassy to the state department suggesting that it was not up to what it was billed as a level four bio facilities. In fact, they said it was very sloppy and they were real concerns about that a couple of years ago. Dana and look at the consequences. Thats a fascinating report on that and we will be in touch with you know doubt, thank you. Protesters define staying orders to send a message to governors on the reopening of the economy, so were going to show you where this is happening, plus President Trump is about to speak on the south lawn in honor honor americas truckers. We will bring that to you as soon as it happens. An nfl hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw will be on the show. His thoughts on bringing back sports and what hes been up to during the quarantine. Dana stayathome orders now creating protest in more than half a dozen states with people saying they want to get back to work. Mike tobin has more from chicago. Got underway yesterday and now it seems to be spreading to other places. It really does seem to be spreading in as the people are pushing back against these governors, we have a group of four michigan sheriffs who say that they will not strictly enforce the stayathome orders from their governor gretchen whitmer. They issued a statement which reads in part, questioning some of the restrictions she has imposed is overstepping her executive authority, she is created of big framework that only confuse michigan citizens. That sentiment was echoed by protesters operated by the coalition. They drove there cars and created a traffic jam. They claim it is too restrictive and damaging him that it is arbitrary and it treats rural parts of the state the same as detroit where the outbreak is severe. Governor whitmer pushed back saying the behavior of the demonstrators put health and safety in jeopardy. The sad irony here is that the protest was they dont like being in this stay home order, and they may have just created a need to lengthen it. Which is something that we are trying to avoid at all costs. Please open the state demonstrations are spreading, people want to get back to work, they want to pay their bills and gain some control over their lives. Reopen virginia and let people decide when theyre ready to go to business. They are not wanting to, stay home and i fully support that, those of us were healthy and want to do business, we need to get this going again, its time. A group on facebook is trying to organize another demonstration in missouri. There are efforts in oregon in texas, kentucky, several states have already seen a demonstration and a lot of passion for people to reopen their states. Dana no doubt, mike tobin, thank you. Governor cuomo not letting down his guard in the fight against coronavirus. He is extending the new york state on pause mandate until may 15th and starting tomorrow, all new yorkers must cover their faces in public. David lee miller is in new york city with these developments. David lee . New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says his decision to continue the shutdown of all nonessential businesses in the state is not based on politics, not based on emotion. He says it is datadriven and it is based on science and in his words, we are talking about human lives here. The governor says the continued shut down is going to be a coordination with nearby states. Would not offer up any plans for what might happen after the next 30 days. I dont want to project beyond that. Mack thats about one month, one month is a long time. People need certainty and clarity so they can plan. I need a coordinated action plan with the other state. Directing all new yorkers to wear a Face Covering and he also said in the last day, 606 new yorkers died from the virus. 29 of those deaths were in Nursing Homes and in nearby new jersey, authorities there are still grappling with a very disturbing discovery at a nursing home in Andover Township. They say after acting on a tip earlier this week, police found 17 bodies in a small morgue, 13 were transferred to a refrigeration truck that was standing by for virus victims. We talked to the mayor a short time ago and he said he has heard reports of as many as 76 recent deaths at this 700 facility. And phil murphy called for the state attorney general to investigate. I am also outraged that bodies of the dead were allowed to piled up in a makeshift morgue at the facility. New jerseyans living in a longterm care facilities deserve to be cared for with respect, compassion, and dignity. We can and must do better. Some good news now at a hospital in bayshore new york, there was reason to celebrate. A woman had been placed on a ventilator suffering from the virus. She had an emergency csection at 34 weeks pregnant and yesterday, there were cheers as she met for the first time with walter her newborn son. Dana . Dana i loved watching that story unfold and then getting to see each other. Thank you so much, david lee. And the deaths at that new jersey nursing home, the latest and worst cases spread at a u. S. Nursing home is also affecting the sum of the the most vulnerable people. Alicia can you has more on this. Staff members at these types of facilities are saying right now across the country that they are understaffed and overwhelmed because they are caring for the people who are most vulnerable to the virus. David lee mentioned this in Andover Township new jersey facility where 17 bodies were found by police in a morgue that was meant for 4. They found out about that from an anonymous tip. The Rehabilitation Center has been overwhelmed according to the mayor and two Staff Members are among the dead. In a news conference, the mayor called out the owner. Over 700 beds, and it was bought out about two years ago by a new owner and i think that you guys should be camping out on his front lawn and asking him why this is going on. Here in colorado, the state released new data that found half of the people who have died here from covid19 were in Nursing Homes or longterm care facilities. The governor acknowledging yesterday they need to increase efforts to stop infection. That means additional steps beyond the steps for the general population for older coloradans or with preexisting conditions for facilities like Nursing Homes. The story is similar across the country. In illinois after 22 people died in a facility there including one staff member, the owner is moving healthy residents to its other facilities in arizona, the states most populous county has seen a 200 increase at its longterm care facilities in just over a week, the doctor heading the department of health there says they are focusing on keeping this vulnerable population safe and this brings to mind the Life Care Center in kirkland, washington, where we all watched the outbreak grow and the Elderly Population there, 35 people died at that facility. Nbc news has done an analysis on the people who have died in these facilities and have found that 5,670 people so far sends all of this began have died in longterm and nursing care facilities. Dana and no doubt their loved ones are very upset. Thank you. Millions more americans filing for unemployment in the last week as coronavirus shutdowns continue to slam the economy. How bad can this get before the pandemic ends . We will talk about it next. A lot has changed in the last few weeks. But one thing hasnt breakfast. And, if that feels like a little bit of comfort, its thanks to. The farmers, the line workers and truckers, the grocery stockers and cashiers, and the food bank workers, because right now breakfast as usual is more essential than ever. To everyone around the world working so hard to bring breakfast to the table, thank you. Ibut that doesnt mean ayoure in this alone. Dana the emergency loan aimed at helping Small Businesses is no longer accepting applications. Lenders approving 339 billion in just two weeks to help Small Businesses, but you should also know that big businesses including some major restaurant chains are getting these loans. In our new york city newsroom with more on this. Good afternoon to you, and there were a lot of people up in arms for certainly about this. We are looking at the Paycheck Protection Program is something thats helping people move forward. You pay your employees and pay your expenses as we are in lock down and then as things open up, these businesses can get back to normal but Small Businesses are up in arms saying we are not getting our loans when larger restaurant chains actually are. It has received 20 million and thats 10 million but the company filed for loans by having two of its subsidiaries apply. Also securing a 10 million loan just days after one of its executives received 100,000 bonus. They got the loans too, so what are the rules here . Eligibility for the loans depends on a business employing more than 500 people per physical location. Its got 20 physical locations on each employee has less than each employee is less than 500 people. Can the business submit 20 different applications . Of course the answer to that is no but it is eligible for one loan because of a number of employees that it employs. What of the business has two subsidiaries . It got to loans. A potbelly got that 10 million loan because of its locations employing less than 500 each. They didnt break the rules per se but it leaves these questions open, we are the loopholes and why are certain loans getting approved before others . Small businesses are asking that. We reached out a treasury for clarity on this and we are waiting to hear back. Dana trying to get money out the door quickly. Thank you so much, jackie. More than 5 million americans filing jobless claims last week pushing the total number of coronavirus layoffs in the past four weeks to over 22 million. The cofounder and managing partner at lex capital, kind of stumbling over my words. We are waiting for the president and we will get to him in just a moment but i want to ask you about how your expertise of looking ahead and looking around corners, what do you see as a future for some of these people that might be unemployed, worried, what kind of skills they might need in a postpandemic environment . Thank you for having me. I think its a big question obviously when most of us americans are looking around and theres likely to be one out of every four or five americans unemployed, what is the world look like and what are the jobs of the future . So collectively, we have 125 active Portfolio Companies managing about two and a half billion dollars and for us, we are trying to think about the Employment Opportunities at the next five to ten years. So if i look at the businesses within our portfolio right now, many of those are suffering from the same headwinds that other major parts of the economy are whether it is hospitality or travel or lodging, but the reality is many of the companies are actually seeing acceleration in business moves generally in areas of remote work were also in the areas of telehealth which have for many years certainly been the inevitable future. Today, that future is being pulled into the present. Dana if you could hold there, i think President Trump is ready to do a conference. President trump would switch jobs with anybody, would you . I know the truckers, they wouldnt switch with anybody. Its what they love, right . Its why theyre good at it. These are the best too. Thank you all for being here has we celebrate some of the heroes of our nations great struggle against the coronavirus. Our brave, bold, and incredible truckers and look at that equipment, the best made hen Great Company is also that have really helped us a lot. We appreciate that. At a time of widespread shutdowns, Truck Drivers formed the lifeblood of our economy and the absolute lifeblood. For days and sometimes weeks, Truck Drivers leave their homes and deliver supplies that American Families need and count on during this National Crisis and at all other times, they are always there. Their routes connect every farm, hospital, manufacturer, business and community in the country. In the war against the virus, american truckers are the foot soldiers who are really carrying us to victory. Theyve done an incredible job. Weve had no problems. Its been just great and we want to thank you very much. We have a little special award too. To every trucker listening over the radio or behind the wheel, i know i speak for the 330 million plus americans as we say thank god for truckers. That will be our theme. Thank god for truckers. On this special occasion when we honor the Truck Drivers of america, i am grateful to be joined by secretary of transportation who is doing a fantastic job and the ceo of the American Trucking association. Please say a few words, thank you. Im a little bit shorter. Mr. President , thank you so much. I am so pleased to join the president and honoring americas heroes. Our countries Truck Drivers and Trucking Industry. The whole country is cheering you on. Without you, it would be impossible to keep our economy moving and get food, medical equipment, and essential supplies to where they need to be. The u. S. Department of transportation has been hard at work to help you do this difficult job for our country. At the president s direction, we have reached out to the Trucking Industry on an unprecedented basis listening to your concerns, providing regulatory relief, and helping ensure that truck stops and rest stops are open and food was available. We are so grateful for what you do. Truckers are playing a heroic role in helping america cope during this crisis. And truckers will be a critical part in helping our economy recover once this crisis has passed us. The administration is here for you. Just let us know. So a big thank you to americas truckers, their families, and to the entire Trucking Industry for keeping our country moving. You are truly americas heroes. Thank you, mr. President. President trump thank you very much. From the moment the moment the invisible enemy landed on our shores, americas 3. 5 million truckers have never wavered at all, and theyve never, ever let us down. When we supply our country, we supply it through truckers and supply chains were stretched thin to hospitals and cities and states. They needed massive convoys of supplies and truckers kept on going day and night, didnt make any difference to them. They had to get the job done. With us today is a driver with ups from new york and a leader in the teamsters local 707. I know the teamsters well. Ive had many a concrete truck in new york delivering to my buildings as i was building th them. Charlton, i want to just thank you for the great job youve done. I have a little special award for each of you, and please come up and tell us about your experience please. Thank you very much. Thank you, mr. President. My name is charlton paul. Ive been with them for nearly 25 years. Growing up, the only thing i wanted to do was sit behind the wheel of one of these massive trucks. Its an honor having a role and part of fighting this coronavirus. On the allstar. I drive 606 miles every day from new york to brookville pennsylvania. I recently carried 180 gallons of Hand Sanitizer made by one of our customers distilleries in upstate new york. Some of my colleagues have been delivering bottles of Hand Sanitizer to the new York City Police department. I couldnt be more proud of my team. I am also honored to be here representing more than 495,000 ups Workers Worldwide to get essential supplies for a Frontline Health care Emergency Responders every day. Lastly, my hat is off to the entire Trucking Industry for keeping our country and our economy moving. Thank you and god bless you. President trump thats beautiful. Thank you so much, mr. President. Thank you, sir. President trump thank you very much, appreciate it, great job. We are also joined by dylan madigan, a driver for dhl express whos been delivering personal protective equipment to hardhit areas of new jersey. Please say a few words, thank you. First, i would like to think President Trump for inviting me here today and for his outstanding leadership of our country. Especially during this pandemic we are facing. For myself and my colleagues at dhl express who are picking up and delivering essential shipments every day, we are on the front lines, but we also know that our true heroes are the medical professionals who are battling to save thousands of precious lives each day. Is an honor to support them, especially in the northeast. Within the last month, ive personally transported hundreds of shipments of personal protective equipment and other medical supplies including several large shipments of masks to a private home in east brunswick, new jersey. Where the masks were all being donated by the thousands to our local First Responders. I am proud to be able to safely support our customers, First Responders, and health care heroes. Is truly an honor to be here, mr. President , thank you. President trump its my honor. Thank you, sir. [applause] President Trump thank you very much, thank you. Truckers move over 70 of all freight in the United States, over 10 million tons every single year, truckers keep our economy running and now in this time of national need, they are saving lives. Here is a very fine gentleman, Stephen Richardson, a member of the American Trucking association from the great state of tennessee. We love tennessee. He drives for big g express. Please come up and say a few words please. Good afternoon, everyone. Good afternoon. Thank you, mr. President for having me here. I am Stephen Richardson and ive been driving with a Company Called big g express out of tennessee for about 19 years, but my total driving experience is 30 years almost. I we are employee owned. That makes me very proud to know that i am part of this organization. Thank you, sir. But also in my time of driving in the last couple of years, ive been hauling barrels for a Company Called jack daniels. Out of lynchburg tennessee. They make some of the greatest Tennessee Whiskey if i could say, ive had a few swigs here and there. But in times when the economy is running good, jack daniels makes great whiskey but now that we are in this time of the pandemic, jack daniels has switched over to making Hand Sanitizer. And by me hauling the barrels, it allows the company on the front end to do something for agriculture in our area and also allows the company to run and make Hand Sanitizer which i think is great. I just want to say i really appreciate the three and a half million men and women Truck Drivers out here that are running up and down the roads every day supplying essentials that we need, toilet paper, et cetera to keep our essential workers out there and keep them striving. I really think this opportunity to be here and it means the world to me and i like to personally if that say i think all the truckers in the United States and i hope that if you pass a truck down the road, say thank you. Thank you for your time today. President trump beautiful. [applause] dana an amazing event there on the south lawn of the president paying tribute to americas truckers, thanking them for all they do and giving them that special key no doubt an amazing moment in their lives and we think all of the truckers, we are big fans here at the daily briefing. You stuck around and listen to that and just wanted to get your take about essential workers and if you were trying to figure out a way to keep your business running and surely every business thinks they were employees are essential. How can you advise them to survive so that they can be running even after this pandem pandemic . I think obviously most people right now especially at based in california have been considering what the reintegration and plans are going to look like. I think certainly we need to make sure we have adequate testing because i think a lot of this is going to be able to trace any flareups of the virus to make sure that we can isolate that but the reality is many of the companies that are in our portfolio today are within those essential business nomenclature and so within the health care factories that are producing in many cases whether it is nasal swabs for testing or whether it is actually face masks using 3d printing, many of those companies today have active lines running and are really trying to make sure the people on the front lines are well supplied so i think that will be the critical question in the coming months. I think a lot of it will ultimately depend upon location in a particular situation because certainly new york and california have different experiences over the past several months. Dana they have, and lots of Big Decisions ahead of everybody. Thank you for sticking around with us. We appreciate it. And we are now just 200 days out from the november elections if you can believe that an former Vice President joe biden is racking up some endorsements this week from his former opponents like senators Bernie Sanders and elizabeth warren. Plus some political analysts say the most important of all former president barack obama. Lets bring in former White House Deputy chief of staff karl rove and former interim chair of the dnc down to brazil, of course both are fox news contributors and great to have you both here. Yesterday, managed obamas Reelection Campaign said by far the obama endorsement was the most important one. How do you see it . I think thats right, but it wouldve been even more important had it come earlier. Came at the end of the contest. I dont begrudge president obama doing it so late. If the Political Team around him was any indication of their deep misgivings about whether or not biden would prove himself to be an effective candidate and he proved himself out to be the winner. So i dont begrudge president obama waiting and he was also the only one with jimmy carter and bill clinton sort of sidelined. The only person who could sort of serve as the symbol of unity for the Democratic Party is barack obama, but lets not kid ourselves. The Democratic Party has enormous problems. We saw in president obamas speech where he basically went out of his way to say the Democratic Party would be wise to run on the Bernie Sanders platform rather than the barack obama platform. He himself said if i were running today, i wouldnt be running on the same platform i ran out into eight and made all kinds of that sounded like Bernie Sanders on health care, went out of his way to diss the Affordable Care act by saying it was insufficient, we have to basically do what bernie wants to do. So there is a battle going on for the enthusiasm of the left of the Democratic Party and it involves caving on a wide variety of issues. Bernie sanders lost the nomination but it appears to be he is winning the platform battle. Dana how do you see that . I disagree a little bit with my friend karl rove for several reasons. Barack obama said early on that the nominee should be selected by the voters not by the bigwigs on the big shots of Vice President biden was able to get enough delegates and when enough states to secure the nomination. He is the presumptive nominee and i believe that even without this endorsement, he went out there and did it the oldfashioned way, but number two, i do believe the party is more unified today than ive seen it since 2004. Is important to bring along many of our progressive friends. They have a seat at the table. They have plenty of Leaders Within the Democratic Party who are not only backing joe biden but will play prominent roles in the campaign in the fall. So the party is much stronger than it was say two years ago, clearly four years ago when the nomination battle when all the way to the convention and right now, i think everyone is focused on helping Vice President get more delegates in the coming weeks as more states hold their contest in june and we are planning for the fall. Dana i wanted to play this for you because no doubt the pandemic and the issues of china are going to come up. Take a look at both of these approaches from the Trump Campaign and the biden response. After 47 years in washington, joe biden on china. Theyre not bad, bad folks but guess what . They are competition for us. China is killing our jobs, stealing technology, putting Americas Health in danger. The exact same thing we teach our kids not to do, blame somebody else. Not me, the other guy. I really believe its basic human nature and so the president instead of saying heres my plan, this is what we are going to do, this is how were going to do this, he doesnt take responsibility, and he says the most bizarre things. Dana donna, do you think that biden is being effective there . There are so many ways to spin this and to have a conversation about what went wrong and what we should do in the future. Clearly, the worlds secondleading economy china which as we all know should take a lot of responsibility for this pandemic had not giving us enough information, but the fact is this conversation is not going to be about china. His going to be about how do you restore our economy and make sure we have health care for all americans, especially those who have been hard hit by this pandemic and its going to be about the future in terms of climate change. So while its important that we have these conversations now, this is not going to be the conversation that generates enthusiasm and support the democrats on the republicans need this fall. Dana karl, the Trump Campaign could be able to say that President Trump has talked about the dangers of china for decades and is following up on that even though he has to work with president xi and have conversations with him now. I agree that the issue by the fall is going to be about performance and so forth. Its also going to be about what kind of physicians are advocating for the future which is why this move to the left is problematic for the democrats in my opinion, but i disagree that this is not going to be important. In fact, that joe biden attacked President Trump foreclosing air traffic and visits from china calling it xenophobic and racist, most americans think that was a pretty smart thing to do and most americans do understand that the chinese have misled the world about this, they lied, they didnt reveal this as early as they should have, it got out of control long before they began to raise the warning flag. Then we got this issue of joe biden attacking the president and nancy pelosi at the same time saying the coronavirus isnt going to hurt us and come to San Francisco and come to chinatown. These are still going to be issued by the fall that they will work their way through. Dana before we go, hold up that little new puppy of yours. From the great state of south carolina. I just want you to know that is much as i have given her bones, treats, and Everything Else in between that she still wanted to say hello to you. So i look forward to having a nice walk on the beach one day. I want equal time to show a little bit sometime, shes got a cute dog but ive got a cuter dog. Dana thank you so much, guys. Dana still to come, hall of fame quarterback terry bradshaw, his thoughts on bringing back sports and how different the nfl to look come september. You can lower your payments by this time next month without having to verify your income, without getting your home appraised, and theres no money out of pocket. Call newday right now. Lines wrapping around corners and uphills at an ad hoc food pantry and this morning, the Texas National guard lending a hand in dallas, heartbreaking images from south texas show thousands of cars lined up at a pantry. Feeding america distributing nearly 100 Million Pounds of food in the last month. Joining me now is it ceo, and it is really good to have you here. I want to have you listened to one person from nashville who ws looking for some help. I dont have any income coming in, so its just hard to get any help right now. Dana ive been struck by how many people who have probably never had to ask for assistance are now having to line up to do so. Im curious what kind of increases youre saying and what else you need from us to help you get the job done. I think you so much for having me on and that story is so familiar to us at this point. We are seeing and we estimate an additional 17 Million People will be food insecure as a result of this pandemic and we are seeing increases and some of our food banks of 200 in terms of demand. Overall unfortunately, its continuing to kick up as an average. In two weeks ago, about 56. 5 and now it is right at 70. So they is certainly great and the opportunity to get in front of your audience and to thank them for the things youve already done because weve had remarkable generosity is across the United States but also to ask if they can that they continue to reach out and help our network. Its a rare opportunity for us and we really appreciate that youve provided this. Dana i just have 45 seconds left, but i do wonder is hoarding of food a problem for you while trying to get foodstuffs into the pantry . It has resulted in some challenges because our number one source of donations historically has been through retail donations and if they dont have anything on the shelf, theyve got nothing to donate but before i run out of time, i just have to say thank you to the american farmer. Theyve been partners of ours for a very long time. Their pitching and right now and we need them the most so thank you so much to them and if anyone wants to reach out and help, thats probably the best place for them to go and thank you dana for having me on. Dana okay. Thank you for all you do and things were saying a shout out to the farmers, we love them too. Thank you. The nations leading Infectious Disease expert dr. Anthony fauci says he sees a way that professional sports can make a come back sooner rather than later. Just without fans in the stadium. Lets bring in terry bradshaw, fox nfl commentator. I miss seeing you around the hallways of fox. Tell me a little bit about how you see the nfl or even just sports in general, america loves sports so much and they miss it. How are you dealing with it . I miss it too. I have really gotten to be a fan of old movies because thats all we watch around here stuck in the house like we are. No sporting events other than replays from years ago which is fine. I really sense that instead of looking negative, ill look positive. I think fox in football will be on the air. Baseball im not sure about, that will be a decision made on baseball. College football is a different animal. Not too familiar with whats going to happen but i do believe we have enough time between now and the fall that we can get professional football back. Now, i say that with no understanding of scientific records or facts because everybody else is doing pretty much what im doing, all thinking down the road, but i do believe in my heart that by the fall, fox will be covering the nfl and it will be on tv. What you think about the nfl draft thats coming up . Roger caddell will be doing this from his basement. That is probably a safe place to be. Its totally different. Everythings going on right now is different. Was at the food bank and ive got friends that are going into their freezers giving out food thats been there for two or three years and thats how far down we are going. Everything you knew is so different and if you would let it, it is so scary. So being in the basement is not a surprise at all. In 1970 when i was drafted, i was going bass fishing and got a call on the telephone id been drafted number one, thank you very much, thats kind of similar to what were going to go through now with this being teleconferencing and being so much different, so many trades not going to be able to be made, it is going to be confusion i think but i think we are going to get through it and im glad the commissioner is saying the safe and hiding out in the basement. Dana i have to ask you about your virtual happy hours, what kind of fun has had . Did you miss out on my happy hour . Two years ago, we started development of bradshaw bourbon, hope i can say that. Because of the pandemic, but we will be here not very long from now and we just had a little ive been saying on facebook and i am not a social media guy, but my wife said oh, my god, you hit 5. 2 million views of the singing i did. I said you have to be kidding, so i started to promote bradshaw bourbon, we have this for animals that we started just to promote products right here from the house. Dana all right, im going to have to run. I love it that you join the program today and gave all of us a lift, thank you. And thanks for joining us, everybody. Im dana perino and dont forget story time at 3 30 p. M. Eastern today streamed live on foxnews. Com, facebook, and youtube. Bill dana, thank you. Im bill hammer. We are hearing from the white house the president about to share his ideas on how america can reopen as we hear details on that, here is where we stand. The president is talking with governors at this hour as historic job losses piled up by the millions. More than 22 million americans are now filed for unemployment in the last month alone. That has now run out of money. Republicans and democrats had a stalemate. Talking to new york city mayor bill de blasio about that in a moment but we begin with the Top Republican House Minority leader Kevin Mccarthy and sir, thank you for your time. You
