Trump doesnt want a war, his democratic opponents dont want a war, the republicans dont want a war, europe doesnt want a war, iran doesnt want a war, we came close to one a while ago and the president pulled back from the retaliation at the last minute. Sanctions are a way of showing i pulled back there, im not giving you guys a free pass. It helps to reset this whole situation because the long term play for this administration if its going to work at all is to keep squeezing iran on the oil exports and try to ground their economy down.
