That meeting. Putin denied it. According to tillerson, then asked to see the u. S. Proof. There was one topic. Others, syria, north korea, and russias aggressive moves in eastern europe. The session occurring on the sidelines of the g20 summit in germany. Now, let me know and what we are seeing happen as a direct result of that meeting. Chief White House Correspondent john roberts traveling with the president and starts us off just after midnight and hamburg. With so many geopolitical issues swirling between the two countries, todays one on oneonone with president Vladimir Putin was arguably the most important meeting that President Trump has had. They had spoken special stomach several times by phone, but it is the first time they sat down facetoface. Both leaders feeling optimistic about the road ahead. President putin and i have been discussing various things. And i think its going very well. Weve had some very, very good talks. [speaking in russian] im delighted to meet you personally, mr. President , and i hope you said that our meeting will yield positive results. By g20 standards, the bilateral meeting was epic, a full two 15 as President Trump and cutin shoot over issues, including issues that russia was meddling in the election. The president opened the meeting with president putin by raising the concerns of the American People regarding russian interference in the 2016 election. The president press, president putin or more on one occasion involving russian involvement. The fact that President Trump confronted putin may quiet some of the course of criticism that was renewed after the president , just yesterday, appeared to soft federal russian culpability. Well, i think it was russia and it could have been other people and other countries. Putin denied any involvement in electric interference. Circular secretary of state Rex Tillerson appeared to contradict that claim, but did say that the president believes rebuilding the u. S. Russian relationship is the bigger issue. The president is rightly focused on how do we move forward from what may be a intractable in this to make this agreement at this point. Together with jordan, the u. S. And russia will establish a cease fire and deescalation in southwest syria. The pact, which goes into effect this sunday, is designed to cool off tensions while the battle against isis continues and the political solution to syria is put in place. Common ground, north korea proved elusive. Russia and china want to freeze north Koreas Nuclear program where it is for the United States wants to roll it way back. Russian and chinese cooperation is crucial if the world hopes to avoid a potential war with north korea. I call it the peaceful Pressure Campaign. A lot of people like to characterize it otherwise. But this to the campaign to lead us to a peaceful resolution. Because if this fails, we dont have very good options left. President trump will revisit north korea in his meeting with chinese president xi jiping. Its great to be with my friends, the president of mexico. And another meeting today, President Trump was conformist o meet a meeting that he was not are you going to make mexico pay for the law absolutely, said the president , almost under his breath. Todays bilateral meeting with president putin went so long, the president s team sent an Melania Trump to see if she could pull his husband out the meeting went on for an hour after she left. Coincidence tonight, bret, the g20 set her next to Vladimir Putin at the big g20 banquet. Bret . Big meeting. John, thanks. Protesters are clashing with police for a second day there on the streets of hamburg. Its now a normal occurrence outside these big, Global Leader conferences. Good evening, greg. Hi, bret. There is a Huge Police Presence on the ground and in the air tonight and hamburg amid word of new clashes in yet another neighborhood. Protesters staging bonfires in one street there. Police moving in to try and clear them out. That wasnt all. Take a look at what we saw when we heard earlier today. Just blocks away from where the g20 leaders are meeting here and hamburg, there was fighting on the streets. Over there, the front edge of the militants of the protesters doing battle with police as the water cannon is fired. You can see over to the left, the crowd angry at the officials as they fire back in their own way, with bottles and rocks. All around us as we watch. The numbers tell that around 160 Police Officers and several dozen protesters have been injured so far. 70 people are arrested. And even though there are Something Like 20,000 Hamburg Police out in the street on duty, the city has to call in reinforcements from elsewhere. Still, the protesters anticapitalist message seems to be drowned out by senseless violence. Earlier today, cars were torched in yet another neighborhood. Officials do know that most of the g20 activities went i a hed undisturbed, even the first lady Melania Trump was delayed due to security concerns. President angulo Angela Merkel saying it senseless. She may be thinking tonight in this very important world summit in the heart of one of germanys biggest cities. Bret . Greg palkot live in hamburg. In the United Nations meeting, boycotted by the countries, that have those weapons. That the president of the u. N. Conference that negotiated the treaty says it is legally binding and the first Multilateral Nuclear disarmament treaty in more than 20 years. As we mentioned earlier, the u. S. And russia have agreed on a ceasefire in parts of syria. Now, sees players in syria have not had the best of track records. Chief washington correspondent james rosen looked at the latest effort to end the deadly civil war. Of all that hangs on the handshake that hangs between president s trump and putin, nothing is more consequential than the Syrian Civil War. In its seventh year with more than 400,000 lives lost. Short up by russian air strikes and uranium backing which is, the regime of syrian dictator Bashar Alassad has driven u. S. Back rebels from much of the territory they control, while a u. S. Led Coalition Force has gutted the selfproclaimed caliphate of the timber group isis, the al qaeda option known as alnursa is a forest. It is imperative to put everything aside to fight against us. Virtually entire cities have been obliterated. 5 million syrians have fled to neighboring countries bring in more than 6 million still in the country have been forced from their homes. In europe this week, President Trump called on the kremlin to jettison assad. We urge russia to disease its destabilizing activities and its support for hostile regimes, including syria and iran. And to instead join the community of responsible nations. The state Department Said the u. S. Is open with russian assistance to creating nofly zones in syria, part of a preview of the trumpputin dialog offered thursday by spokesperson heather nauert. We believe russia has unique leverage over the syrian regime. We are going to continue to put pressure on them and ask them to do more. Secretary of state tillern hailed the two president s agreements on the ceasefire zone in southwest syria has a first indication that washington and the kremlin can Work Together in theater. But experts said they had seen this movie before. The previous deescalation zones that russia claims to have negotiated four different parts of syria, including one for southern syria, but after russia had the deescalation zone, we saw the largest escalation and assad regime bombing in nearly three years. Russia does not have the necessary leverage in the syria over assad or over iran to actually bring forward these agreements and make them genuinely durable. The ceasefire deal that emerged from the trumpputin many summit improves dealings under this administration, which had them ask how many babies must die in syria until the kremlin should shift course. Bret . Bret james rosen in washington. James, thank you. The man who runs the suez canal says that egyptian ports cannot ban qatari ships. They accuse the nation of continuing to support terrorism and extremism, which qatar denies. The head of the suez canal says International Treaties do not allow qatari ships being barred from using the package. Iran and turkey have been assisting qatar as the standoff continues. China is among a group of nations calling for a more open Global Economy at the g20 summit, but the u. S. Relationship with china appears to be deteriorating tonight. Mainly, over north korea. Correspondent rich edson reports from the state department that President Trump will try to do something about that in a few hours. President trump and chinese president since then, the relationship has yielded disappointment. China is a centerpiece of what they call its Pressure Campaign, to force it to abandon its Nuclear Missile programs. The result . North korea has continued developing its weapons programs. Successfully testing for the first time and on the fourth of july and intercontinental diskless dismissal. I think we view a lot of work is left to be done. We are still somewhat early on in the overall Pressure Campaign against north korea. We continue to believe that china can do a whole lot more to try to bring additional pressure to north korea. China accounts for about 90 of north koreas train, and Chinese Government data shows the relationship grew nearly 40 in this years first three months. Compared to the same period period of last year. President trump tweeted, trade grew nearly 40 in the first quarter. So much for china working with us, but we had to give it a try. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson said china put significant action on north korea. Then paused. Last week, the treasury departments ancient Chinese Companies conducting business in north korea. The sanctions taken here in the last week, ten days, certainly it got their attention in terms of understanding our resolve. The state department refuses to comment on additional penalties the u. S. May initiate against chinese businesses, despite the u. S. Disappointment with china. President trump sends his administration will continue to try to convince president xi to confront north korea. Never give up. China continues floating its own solution. The u. S. And south korea suspend their joint military exercises and north korea surrenders its weapons programs. So the u. S. Has rejected the proposal, claiming its military exercises with south korea are defensive, and north koreas weapons programs are illegal. Bret . Bret rich, thank you. The u. S. Will conduct a flight test of the terminal High Altitude area system, also known as than a d in coming days, its a key element of the Missile Defense plan, located in kodiak, alaska. The system will engage a target with a thaad it does not defend against icbms, like one north korea tested earlier this week. Jim matus says that a war with paris would be catastrophic. Its time to confront the communist nation following yesterdays icbm test. Talking with allies and pressure, its the preferred option right now. This is a diplomatically Led International effort to stop a worldwide threat that they are bringing to bear. And we also see economic aspects to the deaf medic effort to divert them from this wrong path this is a diplomatically led he says he is confident the u. S. Will win make an allout conflict with north korea. As lame a change in the environment promises to be a big issue at the g20, make summit for germany chancellor Angela Merkel, President Trump is making a big chunk out of his predecessors environment legacy. Kevin corke tonight tells us about more regulations, biting the political dentist well my stomach just. This vast energy well does not belong to the government. When you roll back regulation, this means you are saving on your electricity bills, this means the price of gasoline is coming down in a few sense of a gallon. It can really rebel into a tremendous economic benefits when the money is being put back into your wallet. Interior secretary ryan zinke called the effort to reduce time on leases of federal land a result of Good Government and will further support the president s goal of American Energy dominance. This, as the epa, amends the waters of the United States ruled that critics called unfair to agribusiness. Said epa administered scott pruitt, we are taking significant action to take power to the states and require sovereignty to our businesses and farmers. Some wonder if the administration is putting a price tag on the health and safety of americans. Its shocking that President Trump is rolling back common safeguards to protect our air, land, water. Roll back Real Progress we are making bread not only finding climate training, chains, but creating energy jobs for the future. President trump is actually benefiting something his predecessor did. Bret there are indications tonight Senate Republicans may be working on a plan b in case they cannot pass and Obamacare Repeal and replace bill. Good evening, mike. Whats the reaction that some of these republican senators are getting from constituents back at home this week works week . Bret, this was a concern heading home before and voting them at the folding. Senator faced protester, and in ruby red, kansas, senator jerry moran has been on the defensive. This cant be a democrat and public and stuff. This is so important to get it right. And i will make a decision not based upon my party, but based upon what i think is good for me. If hes getting an ear full in kansas, that suggest a heavy lift head, bret . Whats the latest on this amendment . Its got a lot of movement on conservatives. To allow them to sell strippeddown plans, ted cruz and fellow conservatives mike lee are pushing for it. The Congressional Budget Office is doing an analysis in terms of cost and coverage. Obamacare repeal, thats obviously a big topic right now, one that im very, very active in helping lead the effort for republicans to honor our promise, to repeal obamacare, and for us to pass patient reforms that drive down the cost of premiums, make Health Insurance more affordable. Worrying about the impact it would have in people with preexisting conditions. Speed 25 . Bret mike, you know this, but wednesday 21ed, its unpopular , its really unpopular. That cannot help its chances for passage in the coming days and weeks. You are absolutely right. One analysis compiled by the roper center that this is the least popular major lease of the legislation in the past 30 years. The Clinton Health care plan of 1994 had on average 48 supported. The bush tax cuts of 22001. The lawncare had 43. 8 . Doddfrank, back regulation bae American Health care has 28. 2 support. Majority leader Mitch Mcconnell warning if he cannot pass it, he will need to work with democrats to stabilize the insurance markets. We have the prices already. Its just going to have to be dealt with. Floating premiums are going up, deductibles are going up, so we have to solve the current crisis. And a lot of republicans on a blood publican held some pretty pessimistic at this point a lot of republicans on capitol hill are pretty pessimistic at this point. Bret you already know that the nations highways and bridges are said to be in bad shape. President trump infrastructure plan also includes fixing a problem you may not even be aware of. Correspondent Douglas Kennedy reports tonight from winfield, missouri. The man has always and the sham has been overseeing locks on the Mississippi River. For 30 years. Recently, the mechanical system unlocked 25 in winfield, missouri, malfunction. Shutting down river traffic for 100 miles. So this wasnt built in the 1930s and really hasnt been updated since. Thats correct. We have a number of problems out here. Under seepage Foundation Type structural issues. He fears a collapse like this of a lock in illinois in 2011. Exactly why the Trump Administration is seriously considering a 4. 2 billion upgrade. With seven locks on the mississippi and illinois rivers as part of its promise a trillion infrastructure bill. Paul wrote he is from the waterway council, the main advocate for lock investment. The American Consumer saves from lower transportation costs, and this is the lowest. Less than half of the cost of rail, 90 cheaper than moving by trucks. And working locks are vital to keeping costs down. They essentially act as escalators, lifting and lowering boats, and connecting parts of a river that would otherwise be unnavigable. According to the army corps of engineers, 80 of our river locks are about to exceed their design limits. We need a reliable lock and dam infrastructure to have reliable river transportation. More than 60 of our agricultural exports move on this river. Quarter of the call that we use, quarter of the petroleum that we use in this country. They not only make us less conservative competitive, they separate us from our past and our future. Many people dont even realize the connection they have and the reliability that they have on the river and the river system. And reliability, he says, will be in jeopardy unless the locks are repaired and updated. On the Mississippi River in winfield, missouri, Douglas Kennedy, fox news. Bret hundreds of people are still being kept from their homes tonight as firefighters monitor a wildfire near colorados bracket ridge ski resort in the nearby historic town. Correspondent alecia colonia is in breckenridge tonight. At 88 acres, the fire is more of a danger of proximity than by size. The colorado resort town and its 25,000 visitors are in preevacuation orders if this fire should take a dramatic leap. 450 homes, from one subdivision, or on mandatory evacuation. They sent us a text first to be ready to go. An hour later, they sent us a text to leave. This fire being fed by rough terrain transitioned to a type one incident, meaning its the most complex. And therefore, some of the best resources from around the country are here to fight it. There are currently 39 large fires burning in 11 western states. Super hot summer tams often pushed by erratic winds are making conditions even worse. In northern california, 1,000 acres have burned, forced evacuations of at least 50 homes. In arizona, crews are containing a massive bonfire in the Santa Catalina mountains. Shifting winds in northern nevada pushed and wildfire they are to a team of firefighters. No one was injured, but more than 500 people have been evacuated. Here in breckenridge, the Incident Commander says this time of year, equipment and manpower are pulled in several directions at once. There is the competition for resources, increases in the upperlevel decisionmakers weigh their values, the risk, the priorities of all the fires. With so much summer left and the needs of grade, many crewmembers and of traveling from one incident to another. Fatigue as the season wears on is always one of our greatest concerns. One example of maneuvering resources happen right here within the last couple of hours. Another wildflower wildfire st. There are so many fire crews here, some were able to break off from one fire and hit the other. Bret . Live in breckenridge, colorado. Alecia, thank you. The dow caned 94, the s p 500 finished ahead of 15, the nasdaq surged 54. The dow was up three tenths of a percentage point. The s p 500 gained seven hundredths, the nasdaq finished ahead two things. He was employers added 2200 jobs in june. That is more than expected. And the most in four months, the Unemployment Rate actually ticked up from 4. 3 to 4. 5 because more people began looking for work. Lets get some analysis on todays economic news. Joining us from our sister network, fox business, when you break it down, what will they find that they like and dont like . Okay. Well, i will tell you what. Theyve got the headline number, bret, in the eight years since the financial crisis, any time we can get a 2 at the front of a sixfigure job number . That can be categorized as a very hot number. Thats exactly what we got for june. As you pointed out, it was betterthanexpected. 220,000 soundly beat the expectation than the 179,000 people would be hired. So youve got to ask, what drove such a robust number. Government hiring was unusually strong. You saw a gain there of 35,000. Education and health care, 45,000. Leisure and hospitality saw a build of about 36,000. And even with the backdrop of what we been called a fox business retail ice age, mall traffic down, store closures, there was actually a gain of 8,000 retail jobs. Manufacturing is a little bit tepid at 1,000, but financial, mining, all look solid. President trump and all his team should absolutely be thrilled with all of this. He has not yet tweeted about the strong numbers since it came up this morning. But bret, he and his administration should be very happy about it. It will be interesting to see his reaction, because during the Election Campaign he called the Labor Department jobs number na pony and one of the biggest hoaxes in american modern politics. Everybody else is interested to see how much, i suppose, legitimacy he puts into that. Bret that will be fascinating to see. Liz clayman, as always, thank you and have a great weekend. You too. I am delighted to be able to meet you personally, mr. President , and i hope as you sent our meeting will yield positive results. The president opened the meeting with president putin by raising the concerns of the American People regarding russian interference in the 2016 election. They had a very robust and lengthy exchange on the subject. The president pressed president putin on more than one occasion regarding russian involvement. President putin denied such involvement. As i think he has in the past. Bret that meeting at the sidelines of the g20 between President Trump and president putin lasting almost two and a half hours for the first lady trying to break it up, wrap it up, and didnt have any success. Talking about a lot of things, but you hear about the pricing along the election interference by russia, syria, north korea, other issues as well. Democrats pounced on this whole pricing on this issue of the election interference, adam schiff, the Ranking Member of the House Intelligence Committee saying the American People can be forgiven for a healthy skepticism about just how hard mr. Trump couldve pressed the russian autocrat, given the president publicly cast doubt on russian responsibility and the probity of our intelligence committees only the day before. That said, we have a ceasefire that is developing in this area and other things moving forward, importing to be the administration. Lets bring in the panel from washington. Jonah goldberg, Senior Editor at national review. Julie pace, and michael needham. Lets start with you. Your sense of this meeting, the readout from Taylor Tillerson e secretary of treasury, what you are gaining from the white house about this . I think the white house feels good about this meeting. I think the president absolutely had to push putin, or press putin on the involvement in the 2016 election. If he hadnt done that, i think that wouldve been the headline. Thats all we wouldve been talking about. The russians, of course, say the president accepted putins denial that russia was involved, the white house has pushed back against that and says thats not exactly what happened. Basically putin the night he did it, they let the matter stay unresolved. If the ceasefire actually holds and, just to be clear, no other ceasefire negotiated with russians have held in syria yet, but if this one does, President Trump can accomplish something today. Bret we dont know the extent of the composition behind closed doors. We know what the russians have been saying about it. Your reaction to what weve been hearing so far. One, i thought it was interesting, these statements, these readouts are scripted fairly well. Secretary tillerson said the president prepped the concerns of the American People. He didnt use any language that suggested donald trump had any concerns about this, rather that these were the concern of the American People, which i thought was an interesting phrasing. The other thing again, i think in ways this is a sideshow. I think you are absolutely right for putin, domestic reasons. Whats interesting to me of the climate created by all of these legal weeks has created a situation in which they have no one taking notes in the room, which is somewhat unprecedented as far as i understand it. They also didnt have a National Security advisor which was also somewhat unprecedented. When you hear from people that they were afraid of all of the stuff leaking out, and i understand the concern. But at the same time, these kind of highlevel diplomatic meetings, you want people taking notes for precisely these kinds of reasons, particularly this free range two and a half hour long conversation. This is a sign of about the mess thats been created from all of the leaks that they couldnt do that or wouldnt do that. Bret michael . I think jonah raises a good point. I think at the same time, part of this whole summit was a little bit of a nothing burger between putin and trump. It was important, they got a lot of coverage. At the end of the day, these are typical nations with a very different interests. At the end of the day, and that it states and russia has very different interest in syria. When you look at the president s policies in russia, take the theatrics of the relationship between trump and putin aside, they have an Energy Policy thats been very targeted at the russians, expanding our experts of coal, his speech in warsaw was externally tough on the russians. Theres been a lot of buildup in the summit. Its the first time they met. The summit was a nothing burger. Part of the reason there wasnt a National Security presence is that people knew and was largely about theatrics and a nothing burger of the conference. The difference between these two countries is there a difference, interest versus ours more than the personal relationship between trump and putin. Bret mara, the ceasefire that was developed outside of this meeting is shared by the British Defense minister who was on special report last night. He talked about it at csi as today after the announcement of the ceasefire. Take a listen. Of the recent of the Syrian Civil War is littered with ceasefires. It would be nice to have a ceasefire. None of these have turned out to be ceasefires. Theyve been brokered, persistently, broken by the regime, and indeed broken by russian activity itself. So we welcome any ceasefire, but lets see the results on the ground. Bret the white house, mara, does believe the solution is through russia and syria . There is no doubt about it. Its really interesting. A lot of trumps Foreign Policy has to do with working with countries he feels have more leverage than the United States. Russia and syria. China with north korea. And so far, i dont think those bets have panned out yet, but this one might. And we are just going to have to wait and see. This would be the one deliverable that trump got out of this meeting, if, in fact, there was a ceasefire and it sticks. Bret jonah . Picking on something more that michael said. Secretarys Peter Navarro came out and said that secretary bret came out and said that they have the same interest. We have a different agenda in syria. We have a different agenda in the middle east. One of the things that concerns me about all of this is that it feels like the third round, now, this russian reset mentality. George w. Bush came in, said he conceded to Vladimir Putins goals. The Obama White House had a disastrous attempt to reset things because they didnt believe that russia had interest that were different from their agenda. And donald trump, perhaps because he thinks he has his personal relationship with putin, they think they can, again, use personal diplomacy and personal relationships to get over the fact these are proclamations that are at loggerheads on a lot of fundamental issues. Bret jonah, lets push back a little bit on that. Lets say, broadly, the u. S. And russia want isis to fail. Broadly, the u. S. And russia want some kind of stability, whether its different stability in russia or the u. S. And perceived in syria. Isnt that some kind of joint goal that they have . If you want to set the bar low enough that they wants stability and for a lot of babies to stop dieting, they have those interests, but those are the only interest. They say as a matter of fact they did not want Bashar Alassad to stay in powe power. Russia has a military base in syria that is incredibly important to them which way they where they can project power. Iran, hezbollah, generally democracy in the middle east is jaundiced to stay the least. The idea that somehow, tillerson went as far to say that even on some issues, the russians might have the better policy and we might have the wrong policy. Id really like to hear more about what those policies are. Bret michael, what was the deliverable, do you think, that Vladimir Putin came out of that meeting with . We probably arent going to know all the details for that for some time. But if syria might have been the u. S. Deliverable, what, potentially, is Vladimir Putins . I think Vladimir Putin, as jonah was talking about, is probably very happy with the statements coming from secretary of state tillerson. To see to make say that there are some issues that the russians were right on and were wrong is a big coup. Look at the way the russians are treating the north korea situation, using as a direct attempt to put a wedge between the United States and our close ally in south korea. They have different interest in syria, there is no evidence that that has changed in any way, the way secretaries peter muir seemed to imply next up, the friday lightning round . Oca. Racquetball. This is so important to get right and i will make a decision not based on my party but based on my what i think is good for us. Bret republicans getting an ear full at home as they continue the head counting on the Obamacare Repeal and replace. We will start their back to our panel in washington. Mara, what does the landscape look like here and will be ted cruz amendment gained steam or will they move fast off of this . Well, and a lot of moderates are staying that the ted cruz amendment makes their concerns worse, in other words it would be easier to draw people with preexisting conditions if you are able to offer these skinny plans. I think that the recess hasnt produced any kind of magic deal thats going to get 50 votes in the senate. Yes, that doesnt mean Mitch Mcconnell cannot pull a rabbit out of a hat at some point between now and the end of the summer, but the deal doesnt look like its in any better shape now before they went home. Michael . I think thats right, the bill is in trouble. I think mcconnell will find a way to put it back together. And look, ted cruzs ask is extraordinary reasonable. Conservatives have taken all sorts of compromises and the ask has been in the regular tory architecture. The reason you are in this mess, for seven years, the Republican Party has told itself and the American People to lie. Every single republican is united on the goal of repealing obamacare. And if there is some hardcore conservative like ted cruz, mike lee, the goal on the outside to have some technical differences but we are all united by repeal. What weve learned this year actually the Republican Party is not united for repeal. Thats fine. I think people who are against repeal are wrong. But that time shouldve been spent actually talking about goals an ends rather than pretending like heartfelt differences on and were actually disagreements over means. Bret john . Morrow says he might be able to pull a rabbit out of the hat. I think the way he does that is by pulling medusas head as a sack. Medusas petrifying perseus enemies. Being forced to work with Chuck Schumer on an alternative Health Care Bill and the idea of republicans failing, its so disastrous for the Republican Party that just because the alternative is so terrifying, they might actually come together. Bret take a listen to another topic out of the state department for the standoff between qatar and the other gulf nations that are boycotting their based on qatars support of extremism and terrorism. Here is the state department spokesperson. Weve become increasingly concerned that the dispute is at an impasse at this point. We believe this could potentially drag on for weeks. We think overall the fight against terrorism is something that was bret mara, what about this . This is a difficult standoff. The president of United States has placed himself firmly in the saudi camp on this. And qatar has not responded well to the list of demands that has been given. Meanwhile, you have said the secretary of state says he wants to be some kind of broker and negotiate this and its not moving forward. This is only a couple of weeks after the president came back from that trip where he said he united the muslim world. End. And all of a sudden, you know, they dont look so united. I think they are just stuck. Bret michael, there is concern about qatars activities and funding. The concern is valid. Qatar needs to cut off and support for the Muslim Brotherhood and otherwise. At the same time, saudi arabia is not exactly pure when it comes to that type of activity, either. They key is we need to have a peaceful settlement of this. The key to pushing back on iran, pushing back on russia, pushing back to what we talked about on the first panel is having united arab states and making sure that we figure out a way to make it through this impasse as a goal of american Foreign Policy. Bret okay. Jonah, you start on the next block when we come back. Winners and losers. This is a story about mail and packages. And its also a story about people and while we make more ecommerce deliveries to homes than anyone else in the country, we never forget. That your business is our business the United States postal service. Priority you swhen it comes to molding young minds, nobody does it better. She also builds her own fighting robots. Destroy. But when it comes to mortgages, shes less confident. Fortunately for sarah, theres Rocket Mortgage by quicken loans. Its simple, so she can understand the details and be sure shes getting the right mortgage. Apply simply. Understand fully. Mortgage confidently. Bret getting ready for a gorgeous sunset here naples, florida. Now time for winners and losers. With the panel. Jonah, winter then was a. My winner of the week, north korean dictator kim jong un. He has revealed that he crossed the finish line to get Ballistic Missiles and we have no idea how to stop him from getting a nuclear weapon. My loser for the week is cnn for all the obvious reasons. Its just been walking into one garden rake after another, smacking itself in the face. Hopefully they can sort of get out of Donald Trumps crosshairs next week. Bret mara. National public radio, which continued its 29 year old tradition of reading the entire declaration of independence on july 4th. This year we actually decided to tweak it, and the people didnt quite understand what it was and called for a revolution against donald trump, even when we said when it was got tweets like glad you are being defunded. [laughs] that is my sleeper civics curriculum. Bret michael, winter and theres a. My winner is donald trump. His speech in morse i was spectacular. He recognized that america is not just a nation that competes with other nations. We are actually nation that is built upon great ideas. The ideas of western civilization, which are true ideas, worth believing in and worth fighting for. He was great to see donald trump embrace that and reflect that payment was a truly spectacular speech. My loser is Angela Merkel. If you read the press, she was going to lecture the west and america about Climate Change and trade, and this was to be her big attack on donald trump pulling out of the accord. Nobody stuck mother, she has been out of the news and rightfully so. Bret thank you. Here is my winner. Our youngest son daniel turned seven today, and the only thing he want to do for his birthday was to go fishing. So we went out early this morning, about an hour off shore, caught all kinds of grouper and snapper, and daniel had a blast. We even cooked the fish and ate them for lunch. Dad was able to do it, and his job. So, captain daniel, salutes the miami crew, the fox executives who made this remote show happen, and they are my winner for allowing a dad to be with his 7yearold fisherman today. Thank you for inviting us into her home. That is it for this special report from naples, florida. Fair, balanced, and still unafraid. I will be back in washington on monday. Make it a great weekend.
