Theres some republicans frankly that should be ashamed of themselves. But most of them i know the republican senators. In many cases, plans that dont always cover the illnesses with which people are inflicted. Critics say those moves will raise costs for millions and millions of americans. Democrats have accused the president of sabotaging healthcare. Back to john roberts at the white house. They dont have the votes, do they . They dont have them at the moment even though the president says that they do. They think theres a few things that they can accomplish the next three four months that can bring on board senator john mccain and rand paul and lisa murkowski. The president was talking about that earlier today. Part of the problem with people like mccain and murkowski, is the process. They feel like theres hearings on capitol hill and this needs a bigger error. They plan on doing something along those lines. If the president plants to get rand paul on board, he has to drop talk about block grants to states. Rand paul doesnt like that. I dont know how they can adjust the formula to get paul on board. Theres a lot of details that have yet to be finalized in congress about what that tax bill will look like. The first thing they wanted to do, which you saw today, they wanted to get the president and Republican Congress on the same page. Were hearing a lot of stories about bannon going after Senate Republicans, a lot of gop infighting. We saw conservatives write a letter to Mitch Mcconnell saying they want him to step down. Theres a lot of infighting going on. If youre fighting, its more ill possible. Right now my republican sources say they want to make sure theyre on the same page as the president. They want optics.
