Or where you do your banking. Well get kennedys take. Lets get to it. First from the news deck on this monday morning, donald trump say hes not flipflopping on immigration. Well report, you decide. Thats what he told fox news this morning following reports he might soften his stance on plans to deport millions of granlts. Here are a few examples of what donald trump himself has said during the campaign. We are going to have a Deportation Force. If they have done well, theyre going out and they are coming back in illegally. Youre rounding them all up. Were rounding them up in a very humane way and a very nice way. And theyre going to be happy because they want to be legalized. And by the way, i know it doesnt sound nice, but not everything is nice. We need to have a country or we dont have a country. We have at least 11 Million People in this country that came in illegally. They will go out, they will come back, some will come back, the best through a process, they have to come back legally. They have to come back through a process and it may not be have a very quick process, but i think thats very fine and very clear. Very fine and very clear. Hes been extremely clear there will be a Deportation Force. He said it, the republican on saturday then sat down with his new Hispanic Advisory Council at trump tower here in manhattan, and after that meeting the sp g Spanish Language television station univision claimed he would legalize some undocumented immigrants and not deport them. A phrase he used, no ones prompted him for that. Then Donald Trumps new Campaign Manager Kellyanne Conway told cnns dana bash yesterday that what the billionaire said in the meeting differed little from what he already said publicly. Well, will that plan include the deportation face, the what you just heard about and what will be in the republican primaries. To be determined. To be determined. But donald trump said it on morning joe. Everything is not nice, he said, but it has to be done. Millions and millions will be deported. Then there will be a legalized process for some of them to come back, the good ones, as he put it. He once said that all muslims, there would be a complete and total ban on all muslims. He changed that. And said there would be Deportation Forces for those in the country illegally. He said it. This morning trump called into fox friends. And heres what trump said when steve doocy asked if he was open to leaving Illegal Immigrants in the country. We have to be very firm. We have to be very strong when people come in illegally. We have a lot of people that want to come in through the legal process. Its not fair for them. And were working with a lot of people in the Hispanic Community to try and come up with an answer. So youre not flipflopping. No, im not flipflopping. We want to come up with a really fair but firm answer. Fair but firm. Well, its not always nice, he said. Deportation force would be necessary. All illegals would have to be rounded up and left the country. We know because we heard him say it. And then he said some would come back in through a legal process. It was the foundation of the beginning of his campaign. Remember, it was donald trump who said dozens of times, dozens and dozens of times that immigration issue is an issue because he made it an issue. And it stuck with a lot of you. A lot of viewers and a lot of voters, a Deportation Force to rid the country of all the illegals. But hes not flipflopping now. We need a fair process. So what is he doing . Well, this all comes as the statistics guru nate silvers website reports that the National Polls show the race tight anything, but donald trump has been gaining in state polls. And its the individual state votes that matter in this process. Meantime, donald trump is blasting Hillary Clinton for her donations to the Clinton Foundation. Donald trump now says the foundation must be shut down immediately, and thats a quote. He released a statement that reads in part, the clintons have spent decades as insiders lining their own pockets and taking care of donors instead of the American People. It is now clear that Clinton Foundation is the most corrupt enterprise in political history. What they were doing during crooked hillarys time as secretary of state was wrong then and it is wrong now. The response from bill clinton, as there is one, in a moment. Michael is reporting from beverly hills, california. First karl cameron where donald trump will be holding a reallily tonight. Where does donald trump stand with the nonflipflop, nondeportation, fair immigration thing . Well, its still in flux. They say they are trying to find a real firm answer, but there was one moment last year where trump really made it very clear how these goals, these aspiration that is he has set, what he said would be his priorities, what he promised and pledged he would do. He also suggested when it came to building a wall and have mexico pay for it. He once said that, well, these are all negotiating positions and pointed out there are mountains of natural obstructions in the way and he didnt have to do a wall all the way from the pacific to the gulf. It could be broken up in parts which contradicted to him building a wall to have mexico pay for it coast to coast. Trump has described all his ideas, all his pronouncements as negotiating positions. Which is to say hes willing to compromise. During the republican why mares he said that. It was a time when Republican Voters felt compromise was a dirty word and yet trump did and sort of defied the logic of the rest of the republican partys process. Even though he said these were a negotiating processes, hes continuing. Not a flipflop, he says, just evolving. Theres a new poll out there in ohio, tell us about it. Reporter it shows Hillary Clinton up by four points in the buckeye state. Ohio is the one state where no republican has ever become president without winning. And this is a very, very important state for him. And it shows that Hillary Clinton is doing okay. You mentioned nate silver, the statistician who said the National Polls are tightening, to some extent that is true. But if you look at the recent averages of the National Polls, hes down 5. 5 points. Historically when a president ial candidate has been down that much in august, they havent won. Some of the polls show hes down as much as nine points. A few with double digits. They always close in the last few days of the race. As for the time, hes still dealing with polls and in the battleground states. In all of the polls, sometimes within the margin of error, hes trailing to put him in a serious, serious problem. Thats why the Republican National committee is doing the Grassroots Campaign for the Trump Campaign. The Trump Campaign didnt raise as much as Hillary Clinton did last month. So all the metrics suggest that the Trump Campaign has a big problem. And to give you an example of how republicans are fearful of it, there are a number of super pacs including pastors and faithbased groups reporting millions of dollars into ground game. And even a super pac, one to support the republicans hop is another trend member there. Team fox coverage continues with Michael Emmanuel covering the Clinton Campaign in beverly hills, california. How is the campaign of secretary clinton responding to this attack on the foundation, on the Clinton Foundation . Reporter well, shep, all close to Hillary Clinton and her Campaign Team are assuring changes in policies and procedures are coming to the foundation. If shes elected, we will, quote, immediately implement the following changes. The foundation will accept contributions only from u. S. Citizens, permanent residents and u. S. Based independent foundations. The former president adding i will step down from the board and will no longer raise funds for it. A short time ago clinton running mate tim kaine fired back at donald trump. And i have this to say to donald trump. Because these ties affect your net worth. Before you go about attacking a charity, why dont you come clean about your own businessings and tell the American People who you are in debt to. So the response from the clinton side of things is its a charity, changes are coming and then a quick counterpunch against donald trump. This fundraiser tonight, there are big dollars there is, mike. No question about it. Hillary clinton will get help from magic hall of famer magic johnson. The Clinton Campaign is planning to spend 80 million on Television Ads now through november. Fundraising is serious business. Mike emmanuel, thank you. We have the u. S. Senior writer at the wall street journal here. Hes got a dilemma on his hands. Hes got to figure out of his panic vote. Hes trying to find that little wiggle room in the middle. Because if the election is as tight as it looks as it will with the polls you were just talking about, hell need the votes on the other side. Not just the white working class. Last week he had the town hall and had the speech in which he appeared to be reaching outz to africanamericans but he was in a mostly white town. The suggestion continues to be that he may have been reaching out to white people, his own base, and saying, im not such a racist. Its okay to vote for me me. That outrage could be for the people who found the rhetoric too distasteful. Does that make sense . Theres a certain logic to that, shep. You can sort of imagine that he doesnt necessarily believe he has a strong case to make so far. So strong case to make in terms of the language he was making in terms of the appeals to the black american voters. Take a chance, why not . Thats not a really strong appeal. What do you have to lose . What do you have to lose . That doesnt sound like a real strong appeal to make his case to american voters. But i am in an american tent and i would like to soften the matters on this appeal. There are also reports on this alternative event where he may be building an audience for the empire. I wonder what your thoughts are on that and what the wall street journal is reporting on that matter. Well, reporting on the Broad Campaign it seem that is donald trump has been focused on his efforts to win the white house. All along our reporting has shown that hes never really put the distance between himself and his business that past kennedys have done. So theres a blurring of the line of what donald trump is doing at the Campaign Events in his own facility or flying with the trump ban earn all these things. So it is hard to separate the trump blend from the campaign. Glenn hall from the wall street journal, good to see you. The former secretary of state colin powell says Hillary Clinton is trying to pin the email controversy on him. Thats according to the report of the New York Post and People Magazine that both report powell made that comment over the weekend. On friday secretary powell said he once sent Hillary Clinton a memo discussing the advantage to using a personal email for a way around all the private email servers. Clinton told the fbi powell advised her to use the private system. Powells people say he didnt remember that conversation. Then secretary powell himself said reportedly clinton was using personal email for an entire year before he ever told her about his own experiences. The feds last month said there was no evidence to support criminal charges against secretary clinton. Katherine has the latest news out of washington and the thousands of clinton emails. Thats right. This morning a federal judge ordered the state department to expedite its review of 14,900 emails covered by the fbi investigation. The nearly 15,000 emails were found by the bureau when they searched clintons personal server. We also learned today there are at least six disks of data. The Judicial Group that brought the suit, the specific interests in the content of one of the disks, the u. S. District judge judge James Blackburn ordered that the state department placed order of review on the 15,000 emails and the review has to be completed by september 22nd. Mrs. Clinton swore under penalty of emergency that all the records needed to be turned over. But this Court Hearing today demonstrated that wasnt the case. And late friday a different federal judge here in washington in a different preview of information said clinton will be required to answer questions about her email practices before the election. What is the States Department response . Well, within the last hour the state departments spokesman told reporters that it may be a tall order to reach the september 22nd deadline to review the nearly she provided all of those all of those documents. The Clinton Campaign also issued a Statement Today saying once again its a rightwing organization, thats the reference to the Judicial Watch going after the clintons since the 1990s, is distorting facts to make utter will i false claims. No matter how this group tries to mischaracterize these documents, the fact that Hillary Clinton never took action as secretary of state because of donations to the Clinton Foundation. Were looking at tens of thousands of new records, some before the election and some afterwards when many of us felt that this review of the records was finally complete. Catherine, thank you. This wouldnt be the first time a terrorist turned two children into carrying out attacks. Isis called its child soldiers cubs of the caliphate. Yesterday the turkish president blamed the boy as young as 12 for carrying out a bombing at a wedding there. They cant know for sure whether the attacker was a child or an adult, though yesterday he was quite sure. Officials say 54 people died in the blast at a wedding over the weekend. A former cia military analyst and Senior Policy Adviser for the counter extremism project is here, tara, thank you for being here. Thank you for having me, shep. Hiring children for this is not new. This is not new. We have seen terrorist groups hiring children for propaganda purposes and for instrumental value. They can fly under Law Enforcement radar more easily. And for indoctrination for them for future generations to keep the ideological battle going on longer in the years to come. But our understanding is that this explosive was to be detonated remotely. In other words, you strap a bomb onto a 12yearold child, you walk the child to a place and then remotely you blow up a young child. This seems like the kind of thing that world organizations might try to get in the middle of. Its absolutely horrific. And youre correct, there have been conflicted reporting about what precisely went on in this case. But there are some things like you said, it was a remote detonator with explosives strapped to a child. We have also seen cases where children have willingly gone and done this because they are trained and brainwashed and indoctrinated to do this. This is not new, we have seen isis putting the children in their videos. One of the things to make it different for isis is isis is glorifying the children. They are advertising the horrific and brutal use of children in their videos. Lots of times you see the groups trying to hide that as one of the tactics. So it is just awful. And we saw another attack spoiled in iraq with the same thing, a child with suicide equipment and bombing materials strapped to him. Luckily, that one was thwarted before it occurred. Does this suggest to us that they are running out of fullgrown people to do this sort of thing or this is another arm of what they do or what . I dont think it is just that they are running out of people, but i think it is another tactic they use. In addition to, again, perhaps raising lower amounts of suspicion when a young child walks in to a wedding celebration, it is also part of the overall ideological strategy. Even if hostility then, even if we regain territory or win the battle on the ground, they are planting seeds in the mind of children who are going to have, and im not a doctor or psychologist, but horrific trauma from the violence they have been exposed to. And part of it is to desensitize them to violence as they carry out the violence. And it will be a long fight beyond any sort of military fight that we see on the ground over there. And the suggestion is that the one that is are not blowing up, they are indoctrinating. And that is educating them through a formal process that the woes of the world are the faults of the infidels and this ideology will live with them and spread to others to create a problem that is selfsustaining. Exactly. Youre exactly richlght. And in some cases, these are the children of fighters themselves. And in other cases they are kidnapped and brought into the fold of these organizations. Another terrorist group that does that is boko haram. These are children being fed ideas from an early age, not just the idea of being shown violence, graphic violence at a very early age, on purpose to make sure they dont have the same type of reaction that a more normal child would have to this type of violence or the use of violence. And that means exposure to beheading videos and all sorts of isisrelated tactics. And it is really heartbreaking. We see a lot of heartbreaking in iraq, but you see some of the children videos and it is horrific, heartbreaking and the ramifications of the attacks for the victims are heartbreaking as well. Tara maller, great to see you. Thank you for having me. Americas longest war will rage on longer. Today why the pentagon is ordering more american troops into afghanistan. Bottom of the hour, top of the news, 13,000 felons who have now served their time in society will have the right to vote in virginia this november. The governor there Terry Mcauliffe made the announcement this afternoon. The executive order would restore vote rights to 13,000 convicts. He said he was trying to fight over the vote to life ballot. And how easy is mcauliffe making it for the exfelons to vote . Very easy. Hes going to start sending Voter Registration forms to exfelons who completed their sentences. During his announcement, governor mcauliffe sees this as a major milestone for civil rights in the commonwealth on the same level as desegregated schools and permitting interracial marriage. And the governor insists this is not being done hatefully. We will conduct a thorough investigation with each individual with the department of corrections, the state compensation board and the departments of juvenile justice, criminal Justice Services and Behavioral Health and developmental services. Reporter todays announcement was that 13,000 felons had their rights restored. Those are the 13,000 who registered to vote before the court said he couldnt restore the Voting Rights to 200,000 at once. So for the rest of those who want to vote, its consistent with the court ruling if he just does them one at a time. Shep. Critics surprisingly say they are concerned. Republicans are worried this is being done to get a bunch of new democrats signed up to put Hillary Clinton over the top in a swing state. And this is something that donald trump went into detail about at a virginia rally on saturday night. Hillary clinton is banking on her friend, Terry Mcauliffe, on getting thousands of violent felons to the voting booths in an effort to cancel out the votes of both Law Enforcement and crime victims. Reporter its no secret mcauliffe and the clintons are close. Governor mcauliffe was the chairman of hillarys campaign in 2008. Peter, thanks. President obama is headed to louisiana tomorrow where flooding has killed 13 people and forced many thousands from their homes. And an official with the Governors Office in louisiana says that more than 100,000 people have registered for federal aid now. Thats the most in any weather event since super storm sandy hit in the northeast back in 2012. The governor of louisiana John Bell Edwards said that if the president had visitedsooner, that might have interfered with rescue operations. And local politicians, the white house points out, have praised the federal response. Even so, some locals in the local paper there, the baton rouge advocate, called for the president to come to the baton rouge area last week. Republican president ial candidate donald trump was there friday and criticized the president for vacationing in Marthas Vineyard instead of going to louisiana. In the meantime, people are returning home saying they lost everything. Some are taking it in stride. In fact, one man outside of baton rouge jokes, i guess god wanted me to declutter. That said, the situation is very serious. And it has been devastating for louisiana. Our jeff flock is there in denim springs east of baton rouge. Apparently on a ridealong. What a mess. Reporter a lot of decluttering going on, shepherd. Many of these guy s are gutting this house as we speak. If we head on down, it just goes on and on. I know you spent a lot of time nearby here in katrina. And it has that look to it. The good thing is water came up fast and went down fast. So people are back in trying to get gutted out. But its going to be a big cleanup here. I think the president is going to be very surprised when he sees this up close and personal. Because it just goes on block after block after block in these communities. This may be ground zero here, though, in denim springs. This is representative, jeff, sometimes cameras can point a spotlight and tell just one small story, but youre saying this is widespread. Reporter thats the thing. We have all been in floods before, it could be a couple blocks or whatever, but this is just block after block. And community after community. And you see what it is, every house looks like this, all their stuff pretty much out. Because they didnt have any warning or time to get anything out. Its not as if the house itself would be a complete loss, potentially you can go in and make sure there is no mold and things, but as far as the stuff goes, man, its just heartbreaking. Reporter exactly. Everything. Refrigerators, dishwashers and the rest, but there is a brick house over there, that is going to withstand it, but its going to take a lot of work before you can live in it again. Good to see you, jeff. Thank you for the lookaround there while they are dealing with water there. We have a wildfire alert for crews in Central California that say a fire has destroyed 50 homes and other buildings and shut down the famous Hearst Castle is still growing. Images from the slide show, this started thursday of last week. It started an hour before the newscast came on the road. This is a twoandahalf hour drive south and west of fresno. So there in the bread basket, thats the Hearst Castle there, the held continuer in the foreground here in this photograph, just of the fire a couple miles away. Up close, this is from the tribune there, the stake was featured in a movie. There are houses and cars along the street. This is north and east of l. A. , San Bernardino county. State Officials Say they are listing evacuation orders after a wildfire destroyed 100 homes and more than 200 other buildings there. Thats the skeleton of a burned out mobile home im told. And you can see the embers smoldering east of los angeles. Our chief correspondent jonathan hudd is in the newsroom this afternoon. First the fire threatening the Hearst Castle. Firefighters making any progress there . Reporter its a tough one for them, shep. Some 3,500 thousand firefighters are there, the fleet of helicopters and still the fire is growing, now at 50 square miles burned. And Hearst Castle remains close today. A cloud there literally and figuratively hanging over the National Historic landmark and dramatically changing the experience for tourists. Listen here. It turned from a historic attraction to sort of a news visit or war story sort of thing. So we were just watching the helicopters fly back and forth. What is amazing, Art Collection aside, we do have contingency plans in place in case we need them due to the fire. Better news further south, shep. The blue cut fire so intense, about 70 miles east northeast of l. A. , the evacuations have been lifted there now, but a lot of families going back to find their homes destroyed. 105 homes in all burned to the ground. And veteran firefighters say that that fire was so fast and so fierce, it was one of the worst they have seen in several decades. And now, shep, as we hit bake season in the fire season, exhaustion for california firefighters is going to become a real issue as we see one of the large wildfires every week for the past couple of months. And there is no end in sight. It is going to be a very, very tough couple of months for californias firefighters who put their lives on the line every day, shep. Calfire is stretched to the max, jonathan. Thank you. An olympic marathon runner says his government may kill him for what he did at the end of his race. So what did he do . It was a little boring closing ceremonies, i tried to watch but it was hard. Every year someone comes forward to make a political statement or to remind the world about a problem that is happening in the rest of the world. And they didnt disappoint this time. There was one olympic runner who says that he risked his own life to try to help his own people. To try to help his people. His name is fayisa lithesa. As it turns out, he put his arms up and was drawing attention to protests happening in ethiopia. Since november Government Forces have killed hundreds of people from the countrys Largest Ethnic Group. Killed them. They had been protesting the governments plan to take land from them. This is a major issue because many ethiopians survive by farming. The government dropped the plan but the protest continues for calling for more freedom from this ethnic group. After this race he said he wasnt sure he could go back to ethiopia because he feared officials would kill him or throw him in prison. He said when people talk about rights, they die in ethiopia. A spokesperson for the Ethiopian Government as you might imagine claims the runner wont face persecution or prosecution and will instead have a heroic welcome should he return, which he may not. Lets bring in jim gray, sportscaster and Fox News Contributor who is live for us over there. This is a very serious thing that is happening in ethiopia. And i venture to guess a lot of the viewers had never even heard about it and never would have without him. Im sure they wouldnt have. Most observers wouldnt unless youre from ethiopia. Shep, hes in a long lineage of ethiopian runners, if you go back to 1964, they have tremendous reverence for their longdistance runners. So that may be one of the reasons why he may be okay to return to the country. If he doesnt return to the country, im sure hes fearful for his family and relatives and what might go on. So now hes in a real dilemma. Many of the folks survive over there because they have little farms or are given a cow. If you have a cow, you can feed your family. Thats how it works in that part of the world. Thats why he wants to bring this to everyones attention. The government is killing off a large ethnic group, murdering them in a land grab, is that your reporting . Reporter thats that what i understand. Just based on what i have read since this incident as to what is going on, shep. So hes fighting for his people and wants to see peace and harmony coexist. The olympics could serve as a spring board allowing that to occur. The question, is what will happen to hum if he goes back there. And the american circumstance is that they help in the fight of terrorism so they are a u. S. Allie. So im sure the state department will keep their eye on all of this, but this is a really dicy circumstance. And he did roll the dice by doing this because he doesnt want to see his people extinguished. By doing this and using this platform, im sure hes homing this will get the required attention. Jim gray, thank you. Thank you, shep. The Largest Ethnic Group in ethiopia. The government is murdering them in a land grab for farming purposes. And its been going for quite some time. The protests were building and the reports out of ethiopia were that so many people were being murdered just for protesting and this runner comes forward to make what is their universal signal for this group and trying to bring worldwide attention to the plight of this ethnic majority that is being murdered by its own government. On that front he is successful on whether hell be able to go ba back, thats another matter. If youre still undecided in the up coming election, theres a good chance facebook knows who youll vote for and whether youll vote at all and thats just one of the details facebook reports it knows about your life. Have you heard these things . Well talk about it next. A lot of people use facebook to see what friends are doing these days, check out vacation photos, who has a new girlfriend, but while weve been using facebook to check on our friends facebook has been learning about us, sucking information on credit cards, how big the house is, whether youre a soccer mom or cool mom and thats just the beginning. Kennedy is a cool mom. Shes on Fox Business Network at 8 00 eastern here on fox network. Thats right. Here, there, everywhere. They know a lot. Yeah, they do, but this is the kind of thing you know they know a lot. Its facebook. They have billions of dollars. Its all stupid information. They know if you have a new job, if youre nearly married, recently moved, what kind of car you bought, what age of a car, how much money youre likely to spend, they know everything about you. So you know what i think is going on, i know people are scared about this, love my privacy, thats fine, i dont have a problem with a company doing this, but i dont want the go in and getting this stuff and using it against you.
