It will begin to deteriorate in the evening hours and things begin to fall apart in this area. This is forecast model taking you up and just one model, bringing landfall likely after midnight, getting right on the texas and louisiana border. It is a wide area we see in the damage. Landfall after midnight, doesnt mean you begin to see things fall apart. Everything highlighted in the yellow or orange color, tropical force winds. Hurricane force winds by midnight and things get worse in the white band, that is where winds are 130 to 140 Miles Per Hour. With all that wind, that will be bringing water with it. You talked about unsurvivable storm surge. Look in cammneinneron, lake cha, that will go 30 miles inland, a lot of water with it. That could do a lot as far as lifethreatening or lifedamaging type of storm surge. You begin to back out on this system, i want people out ahead of this to realize this is a really big storm, so once we make landfall tonight, this will lift for the next day or so, i think talking about Power Outages probably up to tennessee. It is not just right along the coast, this is going to be a storm that folks far inland need to Pay Attention to.
