Career prosecutors want to continue and bring a new case against him, but the Political Leadership at the department of justice overruled them. I dont remember hearing Chuck Schumer or nancy pelosi or any democrats being upset that Political Leadership overruled career prosecutors when it was one of their own. Barr must resign or face impeachment and congress should use spending power to defend the ag authority to interfere with anything regarding the lack that affects trump, his friends come over his elections i think she makes a very valid point. Politically appointed officials like mr. Barr should not be involved in the handling of political cases. This episode really demonstrates the need for an independent counsel.
