Clearly there was no collusion, and secondarily, there are problems with the mueller teams interpretation of what obstruction of justice is. I think you know what youre seeing is really a trial run, whether the country can withstand an impeachment hearing. I think thats what theyre trying to do. Julie obstruction of justice is something they swear would be in there. Thats why judiciary chair jerry nadler is basically saying hes going to issue a subpoena today for the unredacted Mueller Report, because theyre desperate to prove what is the been trying to prove all this time even though right now it hasnt been proven. I want to just show you what he said regarding the question of obstruction to congress. Lets put that on the screen. The special prosecutor made very clear that he could not reach a determination on obstruction of justice. The question is and nancy pelosi hasnt pushed very hard on this, i think the reason being that she knows it would be bad for the democrats if they were to do this heading into the 2020 election. I think any politician should see the writing on the ball. The question is will democrats open impeachment proceedings . If they do, how will it play out with voters . I think they are intending to do that. I think they are looking at the mueller, barr, those testimonies. They are looking at this subpoena that nadler just issued to see how the American People are going to respond. If there is a negative response, that might deter them. Do they want to go down the road impeachment or do they want to go down the road of, lets investigate, but lets not go on that direction. How will they do that and what they do i think will say a lot about how this turns out as a particle matter. Julie do you think the president was exonerated . In many ways, yes. He is vindicated and that will be heard in the past two years, that there was evidence of collusion. Those who question those claims for the past two years i think are vindicated. But i also think those individuals who said there was evidence of collusion, they are still quite a point to this report because there is something for everyone in it. They will point to the attempt to obstruct. They will say thats a reason to move forward with impeachment. Potential use that against him in 2020. But i think it works in his favor. So i think they will have to be careful. You want what you think of during out there . He wants to issue a subpoena and have the full unredacted report. To the democrats deserve the full report . Theres disturbing enough evidence in there that could potentially prove obstruction of justice because if philip for inclusion thats all theyve got a question work its like theyre hanging on a string. We went at this point that we shouldnt make assumptions both in there. Lets see it and see what we think we should be able to see. I agree you have to be careful about some of the information thats already before the grand jury. We should be careful about the redactions in age. But i think when it comes to the average person we are getting into the technicalities of this issue now. I dont think it always is going to communicate to the average person. If we look at this as far as the election goes, and what this means moving forward in 2020, i think people are just pretty much going to dig into their own camp. Im not sure it convinces the average person who is an independent and unsure about how to vote for. It may not. You might be right about that. But theres no question, if you have extremes reading indictments i do the way the special counsel he went at the story backwards. He started by his conclusion saying, i cannot charge the president. And then he goes on, and the way he lays out the ten different areas where the president could have been guilty, you absolutely expect to get to the end.
