White house press secretary, Sarah Sanders saying in a statement as the president confirmed on march 20th, hours after his last call with president putin, the two had discussed a bilateral meeting at a number of venues including white house. Its hope its true that the president has had the courage to invite putin despite all the push back, all the mueller stuff, the fact that he cant have russian dress on his salad now because of the collusion. How do you teal with someone like that . Russia is a bad actor. As long as the president is cleareyed and what putin is and who he represents and what he represents. With the russia thing, it depends how you want to view it. If you want to focus on the commentary. Focus on the tweets. You have one narrative on russian. If you want to focus on the actions, its a different thing. Were coming off the biggest purge of Russian Diplomats with the Trump Administration. You can look at lethal arms sales to the ukraine. A lot list of actions the Trump Administration has taken against russia. You go back to the obama administration, he was weak. He was weak in his actions. He tried to be tough in his rhetoric. Everybody knew it was a juke. President trump is different in the sense that he may be a little weak on the rhetoric but his actions are tough. Other leaders now he will be tough and followthrough on it. Id like to see more consistency with the north korean policy and the russian policy. The north korean policy is working. Hes been very unpredictable and aggressive. He needs to do the same thing with russian. Id like to see more unpredictability and less of a conciliatory tone with moscow. If you watch the documentary ickaris, you can see how as a country, as a government they want to win at all costs. You can take doping as a metaphor for what is happening with their foreign policy. Theyre doing the same thing. They bad mouth their enemies, rationalize everything. I dont want to see the president as soon as believing it. So therefore, i would like to see what is happening in north korea applied to russia. I think we would have better results. The dreamers though and the wall i think should be considered as one issue. Why . Because i know theres a deal there. I know that the democrats will go for 25 billion to build the southern border wall and i know the president of the United States was elected on that issue and that issue will still be the paramount issue in the november elections. I believe the president has promised not 800,000 but 1. 6 million dreamers in an expanded class a path to citizenship. If you combine these two things, strip away Everything Else, ill give you the 25 billion for the wall, you give me the dreamers, there is a conciliation compromise hurts both sides.
