Then we can actually do this. See three, that would be a good thing. Jason but funding will be a whole different question. Harris in other words, nothing has changed since you left. Jason no. Sandra lets begin. Republicans agreeing on a plan to overhaul the tax code. They shared it in a conference committee. The deal currently called for cutting the Corporate Tax rate at 221 from 35 . Beginning early next year. Cutting the top individual rated 2 30 7 for the highest earner down from 39. 6 . Repealing the obamacare individual mandates, and limiting combined deductions for state and local income, and property taxes to 10,000. President trump eager for lawmakers to vote on the final bill for him to sign. We want to give you, the American People, a giant a tax cut. For christmas. And when i say giant, i mean a giant. As we speak it, congress has reached an agreement on tax legislation. That will deliver more jobs, higher wages, and massive tax relief for american families, and for american companies. Sandra but there are growing questions about whether that bill is actually going to pass. There are so republican wild cards, including senators flake, collins, and even marco rubio. Senator john mccain is in the hospital. It is not clear when he will be able to return it to vote. Right now, no democrat is on board, so republicans and the sums can only afford to lose two votes. Yesterday, senator Bernie Sanders blasted the tax bill into the process for getting it done. Watch. Mr. Chairman, as i think you well know and everybody at this table understands, at this conference, the socalled conference, committee is a farc farce. The media reports the final legislation has already been completed. This legislation in fact not only had no public hearings, but it did have some 6,000 washington, d. C. , lobbyists working on it behind closed doors. Sandra nikki haley making comments right now, she said she has evidence, irrefutable evidence, that i ran it directly violated international obligations. Listen. This has their fingerprint all over it. Iranian Foreign Ministers wrote an oped assuring the world that iran has been misunderstood. He wrote irans military capabilities comply with international law, and are entirely defenses. He promised that iran and its partners labor to put out fires, while the arson is in our region grow more unhinged. But the United Nations just released a new report that it tells the opposite story. It it tells the story of iran as the arsonist. The report shows the regime not putting out fires budget fanning the flames of conflict in the region. This was at secretary generals fourth report, detailing iranian compliance, or noncompliance. With u. N. Resolution 2231. The resolution places specific prohibitions on iranian conduct. In its strongest language yet, the secretary generals report describes violation after violation of weapons transfers and Ballistic Missile activity. The United States welcomes this report, as it should every nation concerned about iranian expansion. We are grateful for the u. N. s inspection and analysis. Most are telling, the report makes a convincing case that iran is illegally providing the dangerous weapons. The report provides a devastating evidence of muscles, conventional arms, and explosives of iranian origin used in yemen, all of which violates u. N. Resolutions. The United States and our partners went to Great Lengths to support the u. N. Investigations into iranian violations, by d classifying evidence, so that the world could better be informed of the extent of irans online activities. As you know, we do not often a declassify this type of military equipment recovered from these attacks. But today, we are taking an extraordinary step of presenting it here in an open setting. We did this for a single urgent purpose. Because the Iranian Regime cannot be allowed to engage in its lawless behavior any longer. International peace and security depend on us working together again that the Iranian Regimes hostile actions. It is the worlds fight. The United States is acting today, in the spirit of transparency and international cooperation, that is necessary to defeat the threat. In this warehouse, is concrete evidence of illegal iranian weapons proliferation, gathered from direct military attacks on our partners in the region. Behind me, is an example of one of these attacks. These are the recovered pieces of a missile, fired by militants from a yemen, into saudi arabia. The missiles intended target civilian airports, through which tens of thousands of passengers travel each day. I repeat, the missile was used to attack an international civilian airports in a g20 country. Just imagine if this missile had been launched at a Dallas Airport or jfk. Or the airports in paris, london, or berlin. That is what we are talking about here. That is whats iran is actively supporting. What is most revealing about this muscle is what is not here. This is a short range Ballistic Missile. It is missing the large stabilizer defends, that are typically present on these kinds of muscles. The Iranian Missile is the only known a short range Ballistic Missile in the world that lacks such a stabilizer offends, and includes nine valves, that you will see running along the length of the muscle. Those valves are essentially Iranian Missile fingerprints. On your walkthrough, you will also see muscle debris, stamped with the logo, of an iranian manufacture. Those are just two of the many pieces of evidence that tell us of this muscles iranian origins. It was made in iran, then send it to militants in yemen, from there, it was fired at a civilian airports, with the potential to kill hundreds of innocent civilians in saudi arabia. You will see more than that in this warehouse. There is also material from a guided missile, with a range of over 2 miles, and can destroy tanks and even buildings. You will see material from an unmanned aerial view, also known as a kamikaze drone. It can take out radar sites. You will see material from the explosive boat, it has a warhead inside of it, with explodes on impact. They can blow 6 feet wide holes in it the holds of ships. All of these weapons include parts made in iran. All are proof that iran has defined the International Community, and not just one tims a pattern of behavior in which iran sows conflict and extremism in a direct violation of u. N. Security council resolutions. In just a minute, laura seale from our Defense Department will walk you through the items gathered here and explain their connection to the regime. We welcome a thorough examination of this material. Not just by the members of the press here today, but by the International Community. Several countries will be sending delegates down here to view this material in the next couple of days. Some have already been here. We are inviting the entire u. N. Security council to see it for themselves. And we are inviting all members of congress to view it. This evidence is part of what has led the u. S. Intelligence community to conclude unequivocally that these weapons were supplied by the Iranian Regime. The evidence is undeniable. The weapons might as well have had made in iran stickers all over them. The United States stands ready to further the cause of peace. We ask our friends and our allies to do the same. Iran has determined to undermine the International Consensus against his conduct. We must speak with one voice in exposing the regime for what it is, a threat to the peace and security of the entire world. We call on all nations to join us. In a united front, resisting this global threat. I will be happy to take your questions. I first or do you want to think the department of defense. Their Intelligence Experts all but went into this when you look at this missile, this is terrifying. It is absolutely terrifying. We have said multiple times that this is not just about the nuclear program. This is about Everything Else they are doing because iran believes that they have been given a pass. It is incumbent on the International Community to show not only are they not being given a pass, but all of these actions have to stop and stop immediately, and will continue to do that as we go forward. So, laura will be giving you a tour. I am now going to open up for questions. Im going to respectfully ask that we keep the questions all on foreign policy. If you have any other questions to follow, we will be happy to answer those, but we will go ahead and get started. Sandra that is u. N. Ambassador Nikki Haley Nikki haley, and feeling some previously classified information. We were told this was coming. Iranians provided the rebels in yemen with arms, showing that they deliberately violated international violations. She does a detailed violation after violations, a trend of this, Ballistic Missile activity. Congressman jason is on the couch with us right now. You know a lot about what you make of what you just heard from the ambassador. Jason there is evidence sitting behind the ambassador there. Not this last things given, but the one before, i was actually on the uss the destroyer. It to west, you have saudi arabia, but to the south, you have yemen, and the concern as such they are moving these weapons to help the houthi rebels, ants that they are firing these weapons into saudi arabia, who is then an ally of us. We have been supportive of them. You actually have u. S. Troops helping in saudi arabia, trying to see whats these rebels are doing. And so it moves just beyond this. It is something that has to be dealt with. It is in clear violation of thi this. Harris you know, she has just given us a great deal of information, and of course, we have access now to this information. It is public, unclassified. You heard Ambassador Haley inviting other countries some have already done this, to examine the evidence. That is important because the u. N. , as we know, it is interesting how they pick their battles, and how sometimes they dont. Which which you are talking about scope of those weapons being fired, the evidence that she gave it thats a warehouse of weapons where these things are being used, to go from yemen to a civilian airports. Where thousands of people gather every day, as they do in airports here, and any other country. I mean, that is the equivalency of hitting a major airport in the United States. Sandra we have yet to know whether or not the president , with this information, will punish her. Katie it is very interesting because this came from the u. N. , and as harris has mentioned, they havent always been so keen on it going after iran in terms of their violations of any kind of international agreement, but President Trump his new objectives when i came to iran, and they are willing to go after irans behavior. And in his declaration, the biggest speech that he gave, he specifically called out iran and said it we will not allow them to use these kinds of weapons, the very weapon sitting behind nikki haley, to go after the United States, or our allies in the region. So they really focus on that as an issue, and so this is going to give them even more backup now, in terms of the nuclear agreement, and its matters in terms of the stabilization of the region. It is exactly why saudi arabia now is working with the israelis, and why the egyptians are working with the israelis, and creating new alliances in that region. Melissa this is physical evidence. She went on the list of how we know that this particular Ballistic Missile came from iran. All of the marks on its that make it unique. I have been there to the airport myself. This is a major thoroughfare. These are innocent people. This is not a military installation. And they are lobbying missiles as a passenger airport. That is totally unacceptable, and heres the evidence right here. It violates that agreement because iran is a transferring Ballistic Missiles to another country. They are not allowed to do that under the agreement, and so here is the evidence. Katie and the timing, january 14th is the next deadline about whether or not they are compliant. Harris a month from now. Jason they dont have the resources to do this themselves. At the big question is what President Trump and our allies will do. Sandra we are going to talk taxes. Harris i love that idea. Hold on, can we add one more thing . Have you heard of the Industrial Group that is making these weapons . You know what else they make it . They make a missile and other weapons for north korea. They make solid Field Artillery rockets for north korea. Sandra absolutely. Harris i wanted to get that in there. Sandra we are going to be talking taxes after the break. Patrick woke up with a sore back. But hes got work to do. So he took aleve this morning. If hed taken tylenol, hed be stopping for more pills right now. Only aleve has the strength to stop tough pain for up to 12 hours with just one pill. Tylenol cant do that. Aleve. All day strong. All day long. You or joints. Something for your heart. But do you take something for your brain. With an ingredient originally found in jellyfish, prevagen is the number one selling brainhealth supplement in drug stores nationwide. Prevagen. The name to remember. It is about making jobs, growing this economy. It is about to middle middleclass incomes going higher. This is about giving people the ability to make plans for the future. I am so excited that we are on the cusp of this great accomplishment. And if Congress Acts by christmas, people are going to see gains very soon. Sandra if it is so great, how come they are having a hard time selling it . Ahead of reagans tax form, only 18 of americans thought that it was going to benefits them up. We know how that turned out. So does he have a point there . Jason i think it will have a much broader impact if you have already seen it in the stock market. It has been reacting and planning it into its numbers, but you dont have rank and file members who can actually regurgitated. And people want to know what is going to happen to me. Sandra get in here. Melissa i would say this, there is no one that cutting Corporate Tax rates doesnt touch. Whether you are a consumer, products get cheaper appeared and people on the other side will say that companies are just going to you know, the stock price goes up, that they are going to hand the money up to their shareholders. Then, their competition will lower prices and raise wages for their workers. That is the beauty of competition. They wont be in business much longer. There is no one that this wont touch. Especially now that there is decrease in every record, i think this is going to lead to huge growth, and i would bet my bottom dollar. Harris what happens when those when they decide that those morsels are too tasty, and they are not going to lower prices . There is nothing hungrier willing to have a thinner margin. Melissa dont we think that accountability in the market that is what our entire system is based on. Detailing to them that their taxes are going to be lower, is that not more effective . Katie i think talking convinces anyone of anything. People have to see their paycheck growth. For whatever reason, and some they feel better, otherwise they are like im too busy making dinner, talk to me later. Sandra obviously, cutting the Corporate Tax rate is extremely important, which is why the president wanted to make sure that that was a priority. But when people hear about corporations, they automatically think that they are going to benefits, so i dont think that the republicans have done a great job of talking specifically to individual families. Katie the final push on tax reform, we heard it yesterday, to talk about how it would affect them individually. They sounded very optimistic. The g. O. P. Found it very optimistic that this is going to get done. What does that mean politically . The first legislative win for the president . Katie politically, it will just be an organic Movement Towards the people who voted for it. Jason into democrats will be on the record, saying we dont want to do this. That is a terrible position to be running on. We voted against giving you more money. Harris was there ever a thought or they would have done corporate separately from the year rates, and waving it away. Jason two bytes of reconciliation by not getting it done by september. So they could have taken those passes, but they didnt. Sandra we will see what happens with funding the government. Justice Department Number two defending the integrity of robert mueller. The grilling that he got. This guy thought that he was super agent james bond up to the fbi. Sandra the public trust is gone. That is the message to the adjuster done my justice department. Soon claims of political injustice. It lawmakers are incensed over the antitrump Text Messages exchanged between two fbi members, who once worked on the russian investigation. One of those members, a top intelligence official also played a key role in the Hillary Clinton email scandal. And then lo and behold, those who were supposed to make sure that there are no conflicts of interest, seem to have a few of their own. High ranking officials involved in the clinton investigation were personally invested and that the outcome of the election. This guy thought that he was super agent james bond at the fbi. I think that the public trust in this whole thing is gone. Not a single solitary american he can imagine would vote for donald trump. This is the conflict of interest free special agent assigned. Did mr. Mueller take appropriate action . Yes he did. Have you seen appropriate actions taken by the council . No. Harris political opinion does not necessarily mean biased. But he wants to see him on the hot seat next. He needs to be in front of the Judiciary Committee asap. We need to bring him in and to depose them. And we need to ask him questions in front of god and everybody so that the American People can see what this guy was up to. This guy, who thought that he was james bond. He needs to be right there, answering our questions. That is what needs to happen. Harris meanwhile, we want clarity on the justice departments responsive to the tax busters, especially one, which appears as a conspiracy to go after President Trump. I want to believe the we assume that is the former deputy director, thats there is no way he gets elected. But i am afraid we cant take that risk. It is like an insurance policy. It is like an insurance policy. Congressman . Jason i am just stunned. There is more than 100,000 people, more than 10,000 attorneys in this elite group, that mr. Mueller put around him, it was supposed to be conflict free. In the special counsel is supposed to be there to shut all of the conflict of interest, and yet, i think you are not only seen political biases, but it has moved beyond that. There is evidence to believe that there is possible collusion here, that they wanted a different outcome, that they had set their mind to have a specific outcome, rather than doing their job and following the facts. Soon can i ask you a question, just in terms of what we are looking for and all of this . You hear them calling him a super agent manner. Really, could he have done something to keep the president out of office . Katie i think so. Lets look at what the insurance policy could have been. It could have been not inviting Hillary Clinton. Then it going with that the dossier that was paid for by the clinton campaign, developed by fusion gps, which by the way, was worked on by the wife of the associated Deputy Attorney general, who worked right next to Rod Rosenstein down the hall, up until last week. Working in the justice department, under Loretta Lynch at the time appeared happens to meet with fusion gps. His wife is working to dig up the dirt, to unmask a spy on american citizens, a. K. A. , people working on the trump transition team. They can use that to indict them, and make sure that the presidency is inch jeopardy. Harris and so you are enumerating the ways. A, b, c, did he feel like there were so many other people who thought like him within the department that there would be a more coordinated effort . We dont know. Melissa we dont know, but the moment when we were all sitting here, when jim jordan said i wanted to know was that fake dossier that was paid for by the dnc, and by the clinton campaign, was it used it to gets them to wiretap their political opponents . And the answer was i can say that here. So they know. Basically, he knows the answer. The bus they got to that the money question. We didnt hear the answer. Harris so they went at it a different way and came out this way. He said to the fbi helped pay for that . Where did the money come from . And what did he say . He says well, rosenstein, i know the answer to that, but i cant tell you. Why . Jason he can. Harris i am just saying what he said. Jason they wont provide the personal comedy documents, and they wont show the money trail. This is a republican administration. Harris all right, we will move on. A new round in the war between donald trump and kiersten gillibrand. She again called on the present it to resign. So what is the political effect of all this . And a democratic lawmaker is facing backlash for suggesting that some women may actually be inviting Sexual Harassment. What she said, and whether she has a point. A stay close. Sandra this is breaking right now. We are learning that House Speaker paul ryan is considering retirement after the 2018 midterms. This is being reported by politico at this moment. Thank paul ryan has made it known to some of his closest confidant that he plans to retire after the 2018 elections, amid swirling speculation that he could step down even sooner. His most likely successors have been meeting, should a leadership shakeup occur. If so, House Speaker paul ryan considering retirement after the 2018 midterms, after potentially a major legislative victory, his baby, tax reform. Jason i have no firsthand knowledge as to whether or not he would do that. It will not surprise me. He cares deeply about his family and his kids. It is an incredibly difficult job, being speaker of the house. And the crescendo of his career, and his time and capitol hill, and if he can get a tax reform done in a major way, i think he will say that he accomplished the biggest thing that he possibly could. Sandra he was just talking about what his days are like. It is grueling hours and dates. He said i dont live here. I live in janesville wisconsin. I spend time with my family when i am not here. He is an avid hunter, he likes to be out in the woods. Melissa it struck me. He was talking about sleeping in his office. That is what we do. Jason hey, i have done that. Hey, i do that. There are a lot of people who do that. Melissa it sounds really tough, and i have a lot of admiration for people who are willing to serve and do what they can. Especially, if they get tax reform done, but i cant imagine keeping that schedule up. Katie lets not forget that he was dragged into this position. Republicans didnt have anybody who wanted to take the job appeared paul ryan didnt wanted. He gave him an ultimatum. He said i will do the job, but im not going to take time away from my families on the weekend to fund raise. I dont want to have the same obligations that he did when he was in this position, so he took the job is because people were asking him to. He graciously stepped into the position of leadership, and im not surprised that he is saying i have done enough, time to go. Harris and i am reading further down now into that litter go article. It says that Paul Paul Ryan its tiring of d. C. Long before this. But reportedly, he told his predecessor, that it would be his last job in politics. Katie politico highlights, he was a hill staffer, and since 1999, as a member of congress, never wavered in which he viewed as the nations to two fundamental weaknesses. He was a Vice President ial nominee, lets not forget about that. That was a grueling thing to do as well. Jason and it probably sounds like a cliche, but in this case, it is really, really true about paul ryan and his family. He wears that hot of husband and father, its means more to him than anything. I know he likes to hunt, get out there, but it does take a toll on the family. He still has a young family at home. And i went through that. I was only their age and a half years. You miss your family. There finally comes a point. Harris you talk about entitlements, and from what i am reading, that will be the next thing that he goes after. He wants to stay in office to do that. But even without that, if they get a tax reform at this point, after repealing obamacare, there is a redemption there. He goes out on top, and is not what they all tell us . As before he gotten a lot of heat for taking down the tea party movement, or being with the establishment. The criticism is fair, but the criticism that i didnt like is when he talked about wanting to spend more time with his family, even people on the right ridiculed him for that. If youre going to do the job, just do it. But in the environment that we are in now with all of the Sexual Harassment, all of the gritty, and growth of slime that is going on in that city, i think he should be applauded for making the decisions and keeping his priorities about his family won many people are not. Sandra who do you think are the people vying for the job . Jason i think Kevin Mccarthy would be the leader of the pack. He is the majority leader. He is widely liked. He has had great success, and i think he will be widely viewed as the most likely to do that. There are a host of other people. Harris she found more cuts in her recent version. Jason isnt she running for governor . Harris she is, but we dont know. This atmosphere that is so fired up about other topics on capitol hill, if a woman might not step forward and do this. Jason i would not be surprised. I have no firsthand knowledge. I dont want to put anything out there. Other than a guess. It would not surprise me if when he comes back from christmas that he says all right, time to make a change. Katie whats with the president say . He veered away from him against the end of the 2016 election, and then here we are a year later. And they have been a very unique pairing. How would you describe his relationship with the president . Jason i dont know that we have enough time to try to wrap our arms around that. To sandra good or bad . Jason i think in some parts, it is good. They have less paul ran really run with the policy that he wants, but there is always a degree of volatility that is associated with the trump white house. Sandra i think it is a business relationship. He has tried to work with him on the agenda, but there are certainly issues that have come up that he does not want to address. He gets very irritated with what the president has tweeted and when he has to come out with issues coming out of the white house, rather than the house. Sandra who do you think the other person is . Katie i am not sure, but i think that Kevin Mccarthy may try to line up and get the job appeared more conservative members will be pushing back a little bit on that. Sandra we are covering a lot today. Now, the president s son is a slamming the democrats after she called on a trumpet to resign. The impact of all of that. Sandra first, we touch base with harris on what is coming up on outnumbered overtime in just a few moments. Harris while, our first hour has been hot today. Kellyanne conway will join me next hour on the g. O. P. Tax reform plan, and the republican lawmakers who may not be on board with it. How is the white house feeling about that . And also what the Alabama Senate vote means to the g. O. P. Plus, dumb trump jr. Testified before congress, and his brother eric retrieved a message calling for Hillary Clinton to testify. Does he have a point . Sandra sounds like a great show, harris. Thank you. All right, new fallout in the feud between president of trump and kirsten gillibrand. She calls for the president to resign over allegations of Sexual Misconduct. I remember Kristen Gillibrand when she came into this Office Asking for Major Campaign contributions. There is no one who wanted to get into his office more than Kristen Gillibrand. She follows the playbook. Again, it is a shame, but it is a distraction. I think we have gotten pretty good about turning out distractions. Melissa lightweight senator Kristen Gillibrand, a total flunky, and someone who would come to my office, begging for Campaign Contributions not so long ago, would do anything for them very disloyal to bill. She then called the tweet a sexist smear. Here are some of the tweets backing up that quote. Senator bob corker. It begged me to endorse him, i said no, and he dropped out, said he could not win without my endorsement. She doubled down on her criticism. He is a bully, and he has been attacking different people across his country. He says whatever he wants when he wants. I dont think that the level of discourse is what this country wants. Melissa he doesnt say whatever he wants whenever he wants. Jason but i did not hurt dominic hear her deny this. It did she go to trump tower . Was she asking repeatedly to have a donations and support me . Endorsement . She did not deny it. As before and trump gave her money, then it should she give it back . Of course this is about politics. Hillary clinton is now out of the way. The Democratic Party has now found their moral compass on the clintons, so they have been pushed aside in terms of defending bill clinton for two or three decades over his bad Sexual Misconduct behavior, and now, she called for senator al franken to step aside not because she actually cares so much about his behavior but because if she does that, then there is the question that goes on. It means that the president to then has to step aside, which is why she is asking for the resignation. It did the president have to respond to a tweet like that . No good was it a little bit crass . Yes. Feminists have to make a choice. They either want to be treated like men as they claim, and then not complain, or say that they want to be treated differently. You cant have it both ways. Melissa okay. Acknowledge that republicans are not having problems of their own. It is across all files. Jason you do have blakes parents blake. Melissa when he said he was not going to run for reelection, i said that is giving you a lot of time still to said. Jason i think the filing. It just ended in texas, Something Like seven, if not more people who file to run against him, but he had some very tough challenges. It is going to be tough to justify why he continues to stay there. Melissa s center, what do you think it . Sandra i think that is a really important conversation to be had right now, and i think a lot of women are having that conversation, but the Kristen Gillibrand moment was an interesting one. It just comes to the times that we are in now, with the president to tweeting what he did. If he was stating facts, that is what he is addressing there. Katie feminist have this idea that they want to be in the Playing Field equal to men, which is totally fine. I agree. I want to be treated equally too. However, when they are treated with the same language or the same aspects of a situation, they then come back and cry sexism. You cant have it both ways because they are going to treat you differently. If you want to be treated equally, then you have to be treated equally on all levels, and if youre going to call for the president to resign, hes probably going to respond with some kind of a message like he has responded to everyone else. Melissa you i do want to point out that there was a man who was one of the confuses against and congressman farenthold. So there are men and all of this as well. I dont know, what is the role of men in all of this . Jason dont touch people who dont want to be touched. Everything we learned in kindergarten. Melissa dont put your hands on other people. Jason be nice to people. Look at, there are members of congress that you just look around, you think you shouldnt even get a job at chuck e. Cheeses. Come on. You cant act like that around people. They need to be called out. Katie this is something we have been talking about for weeks now. They know what the Sexual Harassment laws are in this country. They voted for many of them. They know what the rules are. It just a start behaving. Jason i love chuck e. Cheeses. Great pizza. Sandra on that note, we will go to chuck e. Cheeses cheese it soon. More outnumbered in just a moment. Many thanks to Jason Chaffet chaffetz. Talking about chuck e. Cheeses, thanks for letting me come to the couch. Katie, melissa. Good to be here. We are back on tv tomorrow at noon eastern, here is harris. Harris lets do the news, republicans talking with confidence that they can see the finish line on changing the nations tax code. Lets go outnumbered overtime, im harris faulkner. House and Senate Republicans appear to have reached a sweeping agreement on tax cuts and they are sounding off as the details are coming out about it, President Trump touting the plan in his Closing Argument as great for middleclass an end working americans. Watch. The cynical voices that opposed tax cuts are smaller and weaker and weaker and the American People grow stronger. I heard one of our opponents stand up the other day, they didnt even see the final bill, i didnt see the final bill
