I was s. And here i am now. Thank you very much. Im glad i got to stop by here before i went back down to washington. And you make our tallest one lucky guy is there chalk on the wall on the way out . [laughter] for the record, how tall are you . 65 barefoot. Wow. Maybe our tallest one lucky guy yet. We begin with a controversy so hot, republicans are considering Holding Hearings on it, and it begins with the guy who just couldnt seem to help himself, the obamacare architect caught on video last year admitting the white house preyed on the, quote, stupidity of the American Voter to get the law passed. He said it was slip of the tongue, but he wasnt caught just once or twice, for that matter, a third video has surfaced. This one from 2012. Listen. Just ask insurance companies, they pass on higher prices that offset the tax break we get, it ends up being the same thing. Its a very clever, you know, basic exploitation of the lack of economic understanding of the American Voter. While the white house appears to disavow grubers choice of words, House Press Secretary josh earnest firing back. To suggest that voters are stupid, and thats how you packed it, you dont agree with that at all . I disagree with that assessment. The fact of the matter is this was a very difficult undertaking, but this is a law that has had significant benefits for millions of people, that is republicans, who have been less than forthright about what their proposed changes to the Affordable Care act would do in terms of the choices that are available to middle class spamlies. Peter, what do you make of the response from the white house there . Can you ask me that a little bit slower . [laughter] because i am a voter, and i think some people think that means that i am stupid. [laughter] yeah. No, whats the white house supposed to say, you know . They dont have any elections coming up anytime soon, the guy who lives there isnt on the ballot, but they cant make it seem like they duped the whole world. Which is, andrea, isnt that what happened here . Didnt they deliberately deceive the American People as Gruber States in those three videos that he calls slip of the tongue . They did, and they revealed what most liberals think about americans, that they are stupid. But i have to ask, republicans need their heads examined on this one. Theyre Holding Hearings on gruber saying that the American People are stupid. That is exactly what they should not be Holding Hearings on, things that we already know. Sandra, as you know, the Supreme Court decided to hear the case of whether or not the subsidy law was written so that if states didnt take up an exchange, they wouldnt get the subsidies. Right. If republicans were really savvy, they would haul gruber up, they would ask him under oath, was that you in the video and kid you intentionally write the law which he says in the video that way . If he admits that under oath, Justice Kennedy would have a very hard time arguing different. And if the Supreme Court overturns that provision, the entire law cou down. Thats what republicans need to be thinking about. Can i just say that if that happens, you know, we actually paid this guy nearly half a Million Dollars to perpetrate a fraud. I want my money back. I mean, seriously, i want my money back. If thats him on tape and we know it is and if we took him before the court, as you said, i want my money back. And by the way, mr. Mit genius couldnt help the administration to figure out how to run a web site. Right. Whats the point of hauling him up to ask him about that . Ask him something that that testimony under oath could actually be applicable in a court of law, and i would also ask ask would those lawyers have to withdraw their brief . That would be huge. Kirsten . He was one consultant, right . Hes not the person who made all the ultimate decisions, he was somebody who just, you know, this is his perspective, not the perspective of over people. So i dont know if it would work unless you find other people who worked on it, actually work in the administration, you know, who are willing to admit this. I think he clearly was central, and its probably reflective of what people think, but how can you prove that . Right . I mean, you have to be able to prove that other people do you think anybody should be held accountable based on yeah, absolutely, of course. Yeah. I mean, its just another one this gets so old talking about the media, but this has not been covered by anybody other than if you just accidentally stumbled on to fox news, if you usually watch msnbc or cnn, this is big news to you because, truly, its not getting covered by anybody, and this is huge news. Not even in the new york times. Its on youtube though. Its really stunning. You know, this is really big news, and sometimes these are gray areas where you can say, well, maybe you can see why this wouldnt get covered. Yeah, no. Theres no excuse for this. It was uncovered by one of our stupid private citizen taxpayers who was upset that he was dumped off of his insurance plan, and he decided himself to go and look at tapes right. And uncovered this. Incredible. Its an an incredible story. He lives with his parents, and hes viewing all these videos. I think he should run the new york times. It would be one thing if he said it one time, but his tongue slips a lot. [laughter] the administrations probably very nervous, lets not make him upset. Handle with care. [laughter] an epic showdown could be shaping up in congress over immigration. A source tells fox news as early as next week, president obama is planning to announce a tenpart plan to overhaul immigration policy through executive action. The most controversial part calls for expanding deferred action for Illegal Immigrants who came to the u. S. As children but also for the parents of american citizens and legal permanent residents. Now, that could allow upwards of 4. 5 million illegal adults with children born in the u. S. To stay right here. But some republicans want to block that action by tying the president s hands financially with a mustpass spending bill. Among them, alabama senator jeff sessions. Well, lets be clear, immigration officers have told us if this goes through, it will be almost impossible to enforce the law in the future. Let me just say this sure, go ahead. The president has no authority to do this. Its against the law. All right, kirsten, i want to go to you on strategy here because i actually think as much as i hate this, tive order and i dont think its executive order and i dont think its constitutional, i think republicans trying to do this defund strategy is going to be akin to them walking face first into a buzz saw because the president likely will win this. Right. Thats my take on it. And then republicans will get painted as not liking latinos and latino children. Yeah, i think thats right. If you look at even the wall street journal editorial page which is very proImmigration Reform, so it would really support what obamas doing plus a lot more, theyre arguing you shouldnt do this by executive order because its going to poison the well with republicans, and theyre not going to want to do anything on Immigration Reform. I feel like with that, okay, go ahead with that. If thats what you guys want to do, if you want to say were mad at obama and were not going to do anything, have fun never winning an election again. Well this is not an option for them. I work for hispanic im latino, i work for an organization on the forefront of calling for Immigration Reform. And i have to tell you what he is doing is not in the best interests of the latino community. In fact, i think hes willing to do almost anything to not work with the congress, including screwing over hispanics in the long term. This is a temporary measure. It only lasts as long as the president right. And in the end, what they want is a permanent answer to Immigration Reform. Thats a what hispanics which president obama wants to do and the republicans have not wanted to do. But remember, when the republicans with marco rubio were working on legislation that had very good hope for the dreamers, what did he do . He pulled out from under the rug, enacted daca which had unintended consequences which is the surge. This is going to happen again with this legislation. If we dont do an Immigration Reform that addresses all of the concerns, were going to have a surge. And also we may actually be doing something very dangerous for la tee poes which is hes going to cox them out of the shadows, theyre going coax them out of the shadows, theyre going to get exposed to the laws a republican would overturn it. [inaudible conversations] goes back to the point that the republicans are the problem here. The rubio plan did not have what needed to be in it to work with democrats. There wasnt the kind of he didnt give it a chance. Well, look, there have been multiple immigration bills that are very reasonable that george bush supported, that republicans on the hill would not support that have passed powerful members in the house, boehner, paul ryan, all of them, and about 150 my husbands a congressman, 150170 congressman want this to pass. Let me get peter and sandra in here. Peter, doesnt this also wedge republicans, as kirsten brought up . Doesnt the president know that . Hes not really allowing congress to work this out i dont think that the question is do republicans want to reform the immigration system. Everybody in washington talks about how republicans want to do that. They just dont like amnesty. But the white house is acting surprised that republicans would balk at basically letting four and a half Million People potentially stay here. Four and a half Million People is the size of louisiana. So if were going to just let a whole state, a big statesized group of people stay, its not a surprise the that congress is going to want to maybe just think about this for more than like a week. On the economy, a lot of people worried about jobs. The timing is very poor when youre still talking about very high real unemployment level in this country. The underemployment level, we keep talking about this, if you see this happen, youre talking about a lot of jobs that go to, you know, American People that really need them right now. A lot of Union Workers which could be a wedge issue for democrats. Some on capitol hill are calling it a hail mary, democrats are so desperate to save Mary Landrieus seat in louisiana, theyll agree to a vote on the Keystone Pipeline that theyve opposed and delayed all these years. The potential showdown with the white house and why this has republicans grinning ear to ear. Plus, a modern day throwdown between two elder statesmen, the friendly ribbing on social media between president s bill clinton and george w. Bush that has a lot of folks talking. And right after the show catch more from the couch on the web by logging on to foxnews. Com outnumbered. Click the overtime tab and tweet us your questions, comments, what you want to hear us talk more about with peter doocy. Heartburn. Did someone say burn . Try alka seltzer reliefchews. They work just as fast and are proven to taste better than tums smoothies assorted fruit. Mmm. Amazing. Yeah, i get that a lot. Alka seltzer heartburn reliefchews. Enjoy the relief. So i can reach ally bank 24 7, but there are24 7branches . Its just im a little reluctant to try new things. Whats wrong with trying new things . Feel that in your muscles . Yeah. I do. Try a new way to bank, where no branches equals great rates. Welcome back to outnumbered. Well, maybe hell has frozen over. The Keystone Pipeline and its promise of thousands of jobs suddenly on the congressional fast track. Its the first order of business the lame duck congress. The longdelayed project gaining new life as Senate Democrats try to help louisianas Mary Landrieu hold onto her seat. The senate expected to vote on the bill next week. Not to be outdone, House Republicans countering the move with a similar keystone bill, this one sponsored by landrieus opponent in next months runoff, congressman bill cassidy. The republicans not buying landrieus claim this is about jobs, not politics. Here he is with greta. Have to smile when senator landrieu says politics are not involved. Clearly, reid did not care about the 40,000 jobs that would be created for families which are struggling, but he does care about senator landrieus job. So finally hes going to take the bill up. I dont think the president cares about those 40,000 people. Congressman cassidy says the president will probably veto the bill which the white house is hinting is whats going to happen. Um, what do you think . Is this some interesting timing here, andrea . Not only does the president not care about the 40,000 jobs, he doesnt really care about Mary Landrieus job because when i heard josh earnest say the president would see veto it, why didnt they just invite landrieu into the east room and shove a pie in her face . [laughter] they must really think we are stupid, the American People, because they could have taken this up a long time ago. If the white house is going to veto it, they really must assume were all fools. Its so interesting, though, because democrats have controlled the senate the last few years, no vote on keystone. Theyre going to be in the minority no matter what, whether theres a Keystone Pipeline in january or not. But here we are just for this one seat, so she must have some really good stuff on [laughter] exactly. Sandra, one thing im wondering about is the i saw an article about how because of how crude oil prices have dropped that now this may not, even if they were able to get started on keystone, its not going to have the same kind of economic thats ridiculous, because the future of america should not be decided based on whats happening today with the price of oil, because we need to look out decades from now, you know, 10, 20, 30, 40 years from now. We need to look at what our dependence on foreign oil has done to us in this country and how geopolitics has played such a key role in anything that we do or say here. And the ability that Keystone Pipeline would have to bring that oil down from canada, down to the gulf coast region, refine that into gasoline for the american consumer, it would do so much. Let alone the tens of thousands of jobs that its expected to create here. Theres no reason why this should even be a political matter at this point in tomb, so lets just get it done. The reason its a political matter is because of the environmental impact. Sure. So do you think thats that we should consider the environment . Im going to put it right back at you. I wonder how the democrats are feeling because something historic is happening, trade unions are starting to turn towards the republicans because theyre seeing theyre the ones that are really for jobs, the kind of jobs they can fill. So im asking you, they feel like when its between the rich green people with all the money and them, they always thats not really new though. I mean, thats always been the case. But there is a new yeah. I think its shifting more and more, and keystone, even the immigration bill yeah. I think is that a concern . The unions are always typically going to, obviously, go for jobs in the same way they have broken with the Democratic Party even on imgalatian issues because immigration issues a lot of people happy were talking about i. Exactly. Its been on the back burner so long, were talking about it. Obamas own epa said they could go forward with it. Isnt that a predicament for the president . The environmentalists have stepped aside. I digress. The best part of the story Going Forward will be the hale mary headlines hail mary headlines for the next week. Wave . What wave, you ask . Some Top Democrats refusing to concede they lost big on election day, the new comments two of them are are making and whether theyre in total denial about their pummeling about the polls next tuesday. Our hashtag one lucky guy with a gripping interview, peter will tell us all about his exclusive with the former navy seal who says he pulled the trigger. His name is robert oneill, and he is the man who killed Osama Bin Laden. The face we are looking at is the last face that Osama Bin Laden saw on earth. Yeah, i mean, if it was light enough, i was definitely the last person he saw. Welcome back to outnumbered. It looks like democrats may be in a bit of denial, despite the fact that they now have fewer seats in congress than theyve had in nearly 80 years. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is saying that her party is doing just fine, and when asked about how well republicans did in the midterms, she tells politico, quote [laughter] meanwhile an ebb tide. [laughter] senator Kristin Gillibrand of new york is defending the strategy of focusing on womens issues saying anyone who calls it a failure is wrong. Listen. One thing ive heard over the last few days that bothers me is that democrats focused too much on talking to women voters. I resent the notion that we shouldnt be talked to directly and be talking directly to women about issues that we care about. The answer is not to stop talking about these issues. All right. So shes very defensive, sandra, because the war on women failed, we saw it fail in a number of states like colorado. Whatd you think of her remarks . I mean, she must not have been looking at the polls leading up to the election and then the exit polls that clearly showed that womens issues were very far down the list of the major concern of voters when they showed up at the polls. It was the economy that was at the top of everyones list, and they didnt approve of this administrations handling of the u. S. Economy. Kirsten, i have no other way to look at this other than shes in just pure denial. On Election Night i remember tuning in when the results were coming in, and i think you were sitting next to juan williams. Didnt say this is a wave yet, and you stepped forward and said, no, this is a wave. Yeah. Oh, its definitely a wave, no question about it. You mean ebb tide . [laughter] undertow. I mean, Everybody Knows it was a wave. And i think what Kirsten Gillibrand is doing there is appealing to her base. Shes a new york state senator, this is the, you know, ground zero for the war on women right here. This is where its staged, this is where they send the people out from. And so i think thats what shes talking about. Look, i dont think anybodys saying you shouldnt talk about womens issues, thats not what people said. People said you cant obsess about it the way they did, for example, in colorado where it got to a point where it becamety becamety can ridiculous. Womens issues are the economy. What sandra was talking about before, the Keystone Pipeline and energy independence, these are things women really care about because its their kids on the line when we have to take care of Foreign Policy abroad and our sons and daughters go out. We care about these things. What is a womans issue . Is it always ability reproductive rights . About reproductive rights . I think pelosi, she does make one point which is i dont think voters turned out in droves saying we love republicans so much. Right. However, how can she not concede even one shred of honesty . We lost. Against democrats . She might be not be being dishonest. Whats she shows supposed to saysome hes been doing shes billion doing things the same way for decades, and everybody keeps telling her overwhelmingly, we like you. Keep doing exactly that. So she would have to really change the way that shes been doing business for the last 30 years . You mean shed have to operate in reality . [laughter] well, you can say that. [laughter] all right. Well, i did just say that. Commercial break, we look at our twitter accounts, and all of you want us to get to this conversation with peter doocy whos sitting right here, the interview aired the past couple of nights, that remarkable twopart special, the man who killed Osama Bin Laden, and our one lucky guy was right in the center of all of it. Peter doocy getting exclusive details from the former Navy Seal Robert oneill. Heres oneill on firing the shots that killed the worlds most wanted man. And standing on two feet in front of me with his hands on his wifes shoulders behind her was the face that id seen a thousand times, ubl. Very quickly when i recognized him and justin pop, pop, pop. [gunfire] did you shoot Osama Bin Laden . In the face, three times. Did he stagger at all . He just fell by the left side of the bed. How long from the second you saw him until he was laying dead at your feet . It was less than a second. Probably half a second. Just walked in, saw him, shot him. He was a threat. He had to be wearing a suicide vest as a threat. Im within my rules of engagement, hes not surrendering. And how much time was there between shots . I would guess, again, you know, the two shots are going to be just quick, and then the third shot is however long it takes a person to fall on the floor. So i was standing above him when he took his last breath, and i heard it audibly. Did osama bin lad p say anything no. Did you say anything nothing, no. No, we met for a second. Thats it. Compelling interview, to say the least, peter. This man is a warrior, patriot, hero. You got to sit down with him. What was it like . He is all of those things, and, i mean, i was there for the suite at the Holiday Inn Express this summer, and just still listening to that, it gives me chills. Weve never had somebody come up and say, hi, my name is rob, i met Osama Bin Laden in his bedroom i was not invited and then i killed him. And, you know, he said that he did this for now, after years, after keeping this big secret for years, because he found after he told 9 11 families this summer what he did and the story which happened to be the first time hed ever told a stranger what he did at this private ceremony when he was donating a piece of equipment from the raid he thinks that it is his responsibility to give closure to those families where he can. Listen to this. You killed the devil. Thats reason that we went, accepting death the way we did, because it wasnt for ourselves to get the big mission and have bragging rights. The reason that we left on the mission knowing were probably going to die, more than likely not come home was for the single mom that went to work on Tuesday Morning and later that morning she made a conscious decision to jump to her death because its better than burning alive. I thought that it would be irresponsible of me not to give everyone else closure that its over. And, yes, theres personal risks in doing this, but ive accepted personal risk before because this is bigger than me. This is not about me. And you know what . In texts and tweets, and i saw someone this morning on fox friends, the closure part of this the closure component to this story is real. And it seems like his coming forward and saying once and for all what really happened in the bedroom of the man who killed so many innocent americans and innocent people around the world is really, its real. What do you make of the backlash that hes seeing today as a result of this for revealing the details of the raid that some people believe he shouldnt have . You know, in terms of the details of the raid, the only thick thing that he put out there, in a very big way, is that he was there. There have been movies that the administration cooperated with, there have been books, there have been magazine articles of some intimate details that were leaked too. Rob is not going out there saying, oh, you know, we didnt take helicopters or we didnt it wasnt on the third floor or anything like that. Hes just saying i was there, this is what it looked like, this is what it sounded like because on 9 11 the most gripping thing every year is to hear the last phone calls or to watch that terrifying video of people burning up on the upper floors. But nobody knew what happened in bin lad reasons bedroom until now. A team effort. Absolutely. In were a number of seals killed last night. He is from beauty, montana. They thought it was a oneway mission. They didnt think that they were coming out alive. Some navy seals say you are not supposed to reveal your identity . Is this a violation of some code . I think people who watched the special including some seals that i have spoken to that know rob, say ive known rob for 10 years and i want to go shake his hand. Rob said, last night i asked him about . What are you concerned about . He said you cant do anything without upsetting some people. So maybe some people are upset but were very proud of the two hours and what they say about the navy seals. About this amazing feat, you know. We got him after by the way, you getting him is an amazing story so congratulationses. Thank you very much. He will be on with bill oreilly this evening on the oreilly factor. He is very excited about that. Were excited too. Great job, peteer . Thank you. The white house threatening to bypass congress again in effort to achieve a nuclear deal with iran as some lawmakers warn reducing sanctions could make the country an even greater threat. The word feminist is on the times chopping block. Why the magazine says it should be banned for good. Because i make the best chicken noodle soup. Because i make the best chicken noodle soup. Because i make the best chicken noodle soup. For every way you make chicken noodle soup, make it delicious with swanson®. Critics are lashing out at Time Magazine for including the word feminist its Fourth Annual word banishment poll. The poll is open another week but feminist earned more than half the total amount of votes. The magazine argues that label is thrown around by celebrities, you have nothing against feminism by itself but when when did it, but when did it become a thing that every celebrity had to state their position whether this word applies to them like some sort after politician declaring a party. Lets stick to the issues and quit throwing label around like tickertape at a susan b. Anthony parade. Do we have the image of beyonce with the word feminist behind her at mtv awards. I have five little girls. This number here, she danced with a, stripper pole. I agree. I think it is very conflicting. Always goes back to beyonce. She is held up by this administration as an idol or a role model for girls. What do you think about this word feminist . I think t premise behind the word banishment like the list by Time Magazine is odd but that being said, i dont know, it is overused i guess is their point and not used in the true sense of the word. I think stirskirsten we had a conversation on this couch, feminism is used and interchanged in so many different ways. It doesnt mean anything. What does it even mean anymore . You have one group of feminist who is basically say you cant be a feminist unless you support abortion rights. And then feminists go after each other. No, im a prolife feminist or im a republican feminist. Are you a feminist. Yeah i consider myself a feminist. Im sure there are plenty of feminist who is would say im not a feminist and offer reasons why. In that sense it becomes kind of ridiculous. There is this, you think that you would want more people saying that theyre feminists and yet it seems like there is these constant fights to say, youre not a feminist. Youre not a feminist. I dont believe you. All the time im not a feminist. Ban feminist though, what is the penalty if you use it . That is a food question. I need to know what the repercussions are going to be but also how did feminists end up lumped in with bae, time make magazine claims is term of endearment. That is like boo. I didnt know what that was. Other stuff on this list, i cant even. No one ever, sorry, not sorry. I would vote for literally. Why is turnt on the same list as feminist . I dont know. It doesnt have a very good nomination anymore. When katy perry was asked if she was a feminist in this original interview, no, no, no im not a feminist because she thought it implied angry, manhating. She walked her words back. The true classic definition of feminist is someone who believes in equal rights for women and men. That is what the feminist movement originally started to accomplish and became something else. It is completely different. It has been attached to the word empowerment. Empowerment comes to look like what beyonce is putting up which moms like me have something, were not happy about that. This would be time conceding to ignorance. That would not be a first. On this liz and i missed it, theyre trying to ban kale as well and im offended by that. I got to go to commercial. It all started when president bill clinton tweeted about the book that president george w. Bush wrote about his dad. He tweet ad picture of himself reading the book, calling it a touching tribute. Then how are you still not on twitter . President bush responded and screen shot, thanks, 42, hope you like the book about your pal, number 41. How are you still not on instagram. Nice. Those are more hashtags that my college age sisters use. They only use one five people on earth can use, president ial grammar. It is funny and seems nice. I dont think most other countries that have not so smooth transfer of power have leaders tweeting to each other, i dont see this trend sticking around next year when there is a clinton and a bush running potentially against each other for the same job. What do you guys think. I like a friendly conversation on social media. I dont know, do you think bush will end up on twitter and clinton will join instagram . If he joins twitter, it will look like bill clinton forced him to do it. Clinton on instagram gives me the same nervous palpitations that like anthony weiner. There is army of handlers im sure. What i think is interesting about this relationship is if hillary ends up running against jeb bush. I just keep, im so fascinated by the fact that there is a real affection between these two people, between the clintons and bushes. That might not be so nice. I think it is good. I think it proves in families and in politics relationships matter. That is something that, you know, president obama can learn from. He probably need to spend a little less time with Valerie Jarrett and little more time maybe on social media with some of the or talking to them directly. To be a president , it must be pretty lonely because how many u. S. President s are still alive you can talk to. Why i love seeing this. Youre right, rachel. It would be tremendously beneficial for president obama to be close to these two. I love to see them get along. I dont think we see enough of it. But looks like now clinton is helping bush promote this book. Are they both going to be asked is barack obama going to in two years tweet to both of them . Guys, how about a shot. Go outside and hold up the book . Well see. And now this, goodbye snow days. Kids favorite part of the winter is now a thing of the past for one private school in minnesota. The principal boo. Who wants that . First of all, what kid, when there is a foot of snow outside, says you know what . This is terrible because in june im going to have to sit for eight more hours in a class . I cant think of anyone. This is travesty. It is terrible. Why . What are you talking about . You would rather be sitting in front of a compute irthan outside im a child, which im not anymore i would think this is awful. I think of all the stayathome moms, like, woo. Class is in session. I think it is a travesty. God forgive me for saying this, i think we used to pray for snow to actually happen. I think there is a plus side to this. You mentioned snow days run into your summer. Growing up in the chicago area we had a lot of snow days. All of sudden our summer break got shorter and shorter so i see that point of view but i still, somebody from alaska, how do they handle snow days. We didnt have a lot of snow days because first of all, a foot of snow, that would never, it would have to be such a blizzard, would have to be six or seven feet of snow. Then you go to louisiana, you see a snowflake, shut down everything. When you have them they were fun or rare. We never had thing of that many days. What would occasionally happen they were so fun. You rode on a dogsled to school. Exactly. It can be dangerous to make kids go to school. I think it is a good idea to let them stay home. That was not my parents. If they never showed up, if i had a snow day i got hauled into the restaurant. Snow days are best part distance with your pajamas.
