Korean missile. Thanks for inviting us into your home tonight. Thats it for this special report, fair, balanced and unafraid. We got winners and losers in anyway. Greta goes on the record right now. All your news right here on the record. There is a firestorm over this gorilla. Dramatic video of a child . A gorilla cage. Now everyone is pointing fingers. So who is to blame in the zoo . The parents . Celebrity zoo keeper jack hanna will tell you if he thinks the zoo made the right call. Now there is news of a criminal investigation. Also weather alert in the state of texas. Dangerous and deadly storms sweeping throughout the lone star state. Will the cows swim out and make it to dry land . Fox is tracking this absolutely wicked weather. Donald trump on the loose and on attack. His target . Us, the media today the republican presumptive nominee came out to defend veterans. News conference convictly
turned to allout assault on the media take a lock. The press should be ashamed of themselves. And instead of being like thank you very much, mr. Trump, or trump did a good job, everyone is saying who got it . Who got it . Who got it . And you make me look very bad. I have never received such bad publicity for doing such a good job. He is calling us the Dishonest Press and. 100 percent true. I disagree with that seems as though you are resistant to scrutiny the kind of scrutiny that comes with running for president of the United States. But you know what . You raise money for veterans. Excuse me, i have watched you on television. You are a real beauty. When i raise money for the veterans, and its a massive amount of money, find out how much Hillary Clinton has given to the veterans. Nothing. You do realize that when the democrats are out there raising questions about this money, the press is also reflecting what your opposition is saying about you. Its not just us throwing questions at you, pause its
coming from some of them. I dont mind it coming from the opposition though, carl. What i do mind is when i raise all of these millions and when we started out nobody ever thought it was going to be over 5 million. What you are doing is answering the questions now that we had back then. It was just a question. The question. I think and i have been dealing with the press a long time. I think the Political Press is among the most dishonest people that i have ever met. I have to tell you that okay . Of course you are excluded, carl. Wait a few minutes. I think the Political Press i see the stories. And i see the way they are couched. Im not looking for credit. But what i dont want is when i raise millions of dollars, have people say, like this sleazy guy right over here from abc, is he a sleaze in my book. Why am i sleaze . You are a sleaze because you know the facts and you know the facts well. The bad part about the dishonesty of the media is that people like me will be inclined not to do it
anymore. Because why should you raise 5. 6 million and i think i will go over 6 million pretty easily, nobody said that we started this out as a small little project where it was less than a Million Dollars because it just kept mushrooming and building and building. Nobody talks about that. As you can see i have given a lot of money and raised a lot of money for the vets. I think when the press portrays it differently, the press is being very dishonest so i dont like that. I dont like dishonesty. I think you set a new bar being contentious to the press corps calling us losers to our faces. Enough of us. Not you david. Is this what its going to be like covering you as president . Yeah, it is. Let me tell you something. Im a. Is it going to be like this in the pressroom. Yeah, it is going to be like, this david. If the press writes false stories like they did with this. Because half of you are amazed that i raised all of this money. If the press writes false stories like they did where i wanted to keep a low profile, i didnt want the
credit for raising all this money for the vets. I wasnt looking for the credit. By the way, more money is coming. In i wasnt looking for the credit. But i had no choice but to do this because the press was saying i didnt raise any money for them. Not only did i raise it. Much of it was given a long time ago there is a vetting process and i think you understand that. But when i raise almost 6 million and probably in the end we will raise more than 6 because more is going to come in and is coming in, but when i raise 5. 6 million as of today, more is coming. In and i and this is going to phenomenal groups and many of these people investigating the people that are getting the money and working hard. Then we have to read stories probably libelous stories. People know the stories are false. Im going to continue to attack the press. Look, i find the press to be extremely dishonest. I find the Political Press to be unbelievablably dishonest. I will say that. Just a short time ago,
secretary Hillary Clinton responding to Donald TrumpsNews Conference. Its important to continue to, you know, speak to the press as im doing right now. And to understand that his attacking everybody, fellow republicans, democrats, i mean, the press, you just name it, he attacks everybody. Is a recipe for gridlock in washington. Senior advisor to donald trump Sarah Huckabee sanders goes on the record. Good evening. Good evening, greta. Great to be on tonight. Nice to have you, sarah. So, tell me, what was it that donald trump hoped to achieve in this press conference and what do you think he did achieve . Look, i think he has every right to push back. The media has been relentless in attacking him as a private citizen for going out and raising a substantial amount of money for veterans. If the media spent half as
much time focusing on the long lines that we have, that veterans are having to wait in and the terrible care theyve received, as they have attacking donald trump for raising money for them, i think that we would be in a much better place. And i think he was absolutely right to be aggressive and pushing back on the amount of scrutiny he has gotten in trying to do something good. Now, i know not many people are fans of the media, and i get that and understand why. It is like pulling teeth to get information out of donald trump. For instance, the whole business about his tax returns. He said he would release them and he hasnt. He said they are in audit. I even interviewed him i said give us years that werent the audit. The money that was given to the vets, apparently this happened from the january speech that he gave, so its a little bit like pulling teeth and just trying to get this information. So is it not fair say tell us . I would hardly say that getting information from donald trump is hard. He is probably one of the most accessible candidates that we have ever had in
terms of sitting down with the press. He is on fox news every other day it seems like and many other stations and very accessible, as are his team, his family. And certainly more so in contrast than any of the other candidates running. But, at the same time, if it hadnt been. Let me just say, he certainly is accessible. He certainly has appeared here on the record. But, you know, being accessible doesnt always mean that you are answering questions. They always do that, they dodge, stonewall and do all that stuff to us. He is running for the president. And, you know, its like we keep asking him the same questions because we are still waiting to get the information. Look, if he hadnt taken time to vet these organizations, and he had given to an organization that wasnt worthy of contribution and turned out to be some kind of sham, the media would have been all over him. So, just face based on the amount of scrutiny he is getting for trying to do something good, he absolutely had to take his time and make sure that the money was going to worthy
organizations. And it has. He has given almost 6 million as a private citizen. If Hillary Clinton and barack obama had done as much for veterans as donald trump has, we wouldnt be in this position and he wouldnt have to be personally out there raising money and personally contributing. I think the real question the media ought to be asking is where is Hillary Clintons check . Why isnt she giving giving any money . She has raised millions from wall street in and out of office. And she hasnt given anything nearly and participated at the level that donald trump has as a private citizen or in the public sector. And i will give him credit for giving money. Anyone who dont United States. I dont think we should be attacking people who are actually give and donate. I also add full disclosure, is that after on the record worked to get Sergeant Tahmooressi out of prison in mexico, i got a cold call from donald trump and he said he wanted the address of tahmooressi. And i thought i dont have any i say why do you want it . He said i want to send him some money. The next day a check made
out to Sergeant Tahmooressi arrived at my office that i forward to do him with a substantial amount of money. Thats not deductible. That wouldnt be on his tax return. Nonetheless, he should answer the questions so we dont get into food fights at press conferences. Wouldnt you agree . I will give you the last word. And i think he has. So i think thats why he got in front of the press today, their questions. At the same time, i do think that he has every right to be a little bit offended when he is trying to do something good and the press is just constantly picking it apart. If the press wants donald trump to answer more questions, they might want to focus on some of the big issues of why he is running for president. And thats to do things like help veterans secure our borders, and strengthen our national security. I think if they would focus more on that, instead of the nitpicky stuff about how long its going to take him to give personal contributions, they might get more answers from him. Sarah, thank you for joining us. Thank you, greta. And the media may be feeling the socalled berne
from trumps comments about them. Others are highlighting trump for going after the Media Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh says this is the News Conference waiting for for decades. How many years have people been begging for a republican to just once take on the media the way trump did . All the way from the premise to the details, to the motivation. Near the end of it a frustrated journalist, mr. Trump, mr. Trump, mr. Trump, is it going to be this way . Are you going to be attacking us after you become president . Oh my god. Because, folks, if the age of internet trolling, manners are out the window. Its a waste of time asking for manners here. The on the record Political Panel is here. Abc news political director rick klein and Fortune Magazine nina easton. Rick, first to you since you are a colleague or abc got one got a shout outtoday called a sleaze. Tom is a terrific reporter. He didnt deserve that from donald trump. He will be fine. He will be fine. This was a political event from the beginning. Donald trump did this because he didnt want to go to a debate on fox. He decided to create this fundraiser for veterans. This was last january. Starting with the beginning of this, even if it all has a great outcome at the end for the veterans groups. He created this as a political event. His team did not give satisfactory or even consistent answers for weeks even months. He finally started giving money when the the Washington Post called him out on this over the last week. More than 10 of these organizations just got checked. Is it not. Legitimate. Nina though, it is fair if he gave one to the wrong veterans group. We would be all over him. Is there some i mean, he does i assume they were investigating these groups or dont you buy that . Well, i think, of course, he is setting these groups. But i think rick is right that he, you know, he the press was holding him to a
standard and he was showing, once again, his reluctant to undergo strict scrutiny. I thought it was very interesting moment today because you saw this, what you thought would have been a general election candidate, right . More president ial, giving to veterans groups. Doing great work there. And instead, it turned into the primary candidate of attacking, name calling, and, look, everybody hates the news media, get, it got it, good. This follows attacks on his fellow candidates, it follows recent attacks on fellow republicans. And it also goes to this question, while people dont like the media, people in a general election, and particularly i think want candidates to undergo scrutiny. Lets talk about Hillary Clinton. There is a lot of pressure for her to release, for example, transcripts of her speeches, which she should. Youre going to be asked those kinds of questions as a president ial candidate. I think thats us in the media i think donald trump won this round today. Because, as you noted, people arent fans of the media. I got it, we know it. Number two, is donald trump trying to defend giving money to the vets and how much money has anyone in the auditorium given . Obviously they have much less money in the media turn it around on us. How much have we done for the vets while we are taking a slap at i actually think, rick, he won this round. He took a story that would have been about how he didnt give money in a timely fashion and questionable as to how much was actually raised into him punching back and hitting the media which will win him votes and support. He has said famously he can do almost anything. Or will it consolidate trump voters more. It will be a very we dont know. I mean, this will be a very interesting case study like does he expand the base by these continued tactics . Or does he need to act more president ial like everybody argues . We still dont know the to
that. I think its whoa as s. Me media stuff. That is just ridiculous. I think that the voters laugh at us when we complain about being insulted and everything else. He knows what he is doing in terms of using the media using the strategies that he has to try to bring people to his side. All right. What about secretary clintons response . Does it matter . Make a difference . I was struck by the fact that she offered one. Actually. She got asked. No, she got asked but she put herself out there for interviews today which is a little bit unusual given the pace of this campaign. Not here on fox news channel. She didnt call in yet . Let me know. They are starting to play to the pace he is setting and responding to these new today things. Pushing back on veterans things. Sign of nervousness or general election. They are here to do titfortat. Nina last word on. This i agree. Wow, cant beat that thats fan fast particular. Fantastic. Tonight 10 00 p. M. Donald trump. Hillary clinton email news. Deposition from secretary clintons former chief of staff mills. Catherine herridge has been poring through the deposition. Catherine, you have got it right in front of you. I have it right here. I did not the whole thing because i think thats disrespectful to trees. 300 pages. We can see it online. See it online. Three main take aways almost five hours in length. The second is that while mrs. Clinton has encouraged her aides to be very open and forth right, cheryl mills, who was her chief of staff at t state department came to the deposition with seven lawyers. Let me just finish, four representing the Justice Department and the state department. Those arent hers . No. And then three herself. Three is weird because who is paying for three lawyers . You only need one lawyer . Thats always been a beef for me. So and then the third thing is every time there was a question about the it
specialist brian pga who pagliano who has cut a deal criminal probe mrs. Clintons email practices there were strenuous objections from her attorney as well as government attorneys. So five hour deposition. There were really not a lot more details about how that server was set up and why. I still think the weirdest thing that pagliano has immunity because you only need immunity if theyre forcing you to testify, whether its grand jury or a trial. And not just he doesnt have to talk to the Justice Department. So why does he have immunity . I have always been suspicious that there is a grand jury some place and they are supposed to be secret. Thats just peculiar to me. Could entirely be possible based on ongoing reporting an intelligence source said to us that pagliano was really a central figure and really quite a devastating witness because he was allowing the fbi to knit together the existing emails, the emails that were recovered and who was having access to the system and who was logged on. And, more significantly, we were told that there was an allegation that mrs. Clinton and her team were sharing pass words and this may well explain how some of this classified information jumped the gap into the unsecured personal email. Unless the fbi really scared him and said we are going to indict you, pagliano, unless you do cooperate but we will give you immunity. We dont know. We dont know. Fun to talk about. Catherine, thanks. Youre welcome. And this is horrifying. The state Department Just issuing a new terror warning for americans. Americans are being warned if youre head to do europe this summer, be on alert for the risk of terror attacks. There are major events that could be targeted. In france, junes european soccer championship. In julys Tour De France will take place. This travel warning to americans come just months after the deadly brussels terror attacks and the paris terror attacks that began outside a packed soccer stadium. Joining me is alabama United States senator Jeff Sessions. Donald Trumps National security advisor. How would donald trump do with new threats and warnings we are hearing from the state department today. Im sorry, i should say good evening, too. Okay. Well, a big part of the problem is this massive flow of Illegal Immigrants in to
europe areas where we have too much terrorism. And president trump, if he is elected, will take strong steps on that to ensure that people who come to our country are properly vetted. Most of the people in europe now, well over a million are young males and no way they have been vetted they are coming in like we have people coming across the border with no real ability to evaluate their background or danger. All right. What would you do about see, a lot of these people are fleeing just incredible, horrible situations. I have been to iraq. I have seen the refugee camp there people flowing out of syria. I have seen how utterly horrible these refugee camps are. They are running for their lives. The horrible things that are happening. But now we are where we are. Many of them have been relocated in the continent of europe. Some coming here. What do you do now . In light of where we are right now in time. What would donald trump do . What the United States should do and europe should do is make clear that people will not be allowed in their country illegally. And then i think the world does have a duty to see what can be done to create better and more refugee areas. I really believe we can create safe zones in turkey, in syria. Where people can live safely there. Close to their homes, so they can be returned as soon as possible. It just cannot be the policy of the United States that when there is a war torn area everybody is entitled to come here. We can do better. We should have already done better. And the instability in syria, frankly, this is the biggest part of this with millions of refugees, big part of that was poor policy by clinton, Obama Administration that led to this. All right. And, create a safe zone wouldnt have to necessarily mean a commitment of troops. Because it would be incredible operation. Is that something you would
advise donald trump to do . Well, i have talked to the Defense Department about that. And they have not reached a decision on what to do in that regard. We could get troops from the region. I think that would be very possible. We wouldnt have to carry the whole load at all. But i do believe that creating a safe zone is critical. I mean, europe cannot receive millions and millions more refugees. Its already causing this danger zone. Crime is up dramatically. Protests are up all around. Its very destabilizing to europe. The right thing to do is create safe zones there. Make them work and try to end the war as soon as possible so stability can return and people can return. Its a terrible situation for so many millions. Anyway, senator, thank you, sir. Thank you. , greta. And two u. S. Service members injured in separate isis attacks. First attack raqqa, syria. This injury occurring near irbil, iraq, the pentagon has not yet released extent of injuries for either. Does the cincinnati zoo make the right decision to kill that gorilla . Find out what jack hanna thinks. He goes on the record next. I have asthma. One of many pieces in my life. So when my asthma symptoms kept coming back on my longterm control medicine. I talked to my doctor and found a missing piece in my asthma treatment with breo. Oncedaily breo prevents asthma symptoms. Breo is for adults with asthma not well controlled on a longterm asthma control medicine, like an inhaled corticosteroid. Breo wont replace a rescue inhaler for sudden breathing problems. Breo opens up airways to help improve breathing for a full 24 hours. Breo contains a type of medicine that increases the risk of death from asthma problems and may increase the risk of hospitalization in
children and adolescents. Breo is not for people whose asthma is well controlled on a longterm asthma control medicine, like an inhaled corticosteroid. Once your asthma is well controlled, your doctor will decide if you can stop breo and prescribe a different asthma control medicine, like an inhaled corticosteroid. Deadly shooting of a gorilla at the cincinnati zoo. The nearly 450pound gorilla shot by zoo workers when the 4yearold boy fell into the gorilla habitat. Mommy is right here. Look at this. Harambe the gorilla towering over 4yearold boy. The boy fell into the gorillas home at the cincinnati zoo. Mommy loves you. Im right here. This amateur video shows harambe carrying the 4yearold child with him. Moments later the gorilla dragging the 4yearold further into the exhibit. This child was being dragged around. His head was banging on concrete. This was not a gentle thing. The child was at risk. Were very fortunate that he is okay. Within moments the zoo making the difficult decision to kill harambe in order to save the child. Naturally, we did not take the shooting of harambe lightly. But that childs life was in danger. Now, some say the
shooting was justified because the gorilla could have easily killed that child. But others are furious over the shooting of the gorilla. Some people even calling for the parents of the child to be punished. So did the zoo make the right decision . Director and emeritus at the columbus zoo jack hanna goes on the record. Good evening, jack. Niles to see you. Nice seeing you, greta. Jack, you are my gotoo guy on all these issues involving animals. So, tell me, did the cincinnati zoo do the right thing . Greta, they did the right thing. This is a nowin situation for anybody. Having had a home in rwanda two miles from mountain goorls 20 years and having the columbus zoo i have been here 30 something years and having the first gorilla born in the world here. Twin gorillas born here only ones in the world. Obviously im familiar with gorillas in the setting of the zoo. When i saw the animal jerk right now and taking that child through the water like that, i have seen big silver backs in the wild and zoos. One thing that would have happened, greta, if they had waited for the trannizer. That dart would have popped in that gorilla. This little thing here is doing it im just trying to think gorilla style now. That child would not even be here. They can take a green coconut and smash it like a marshmallow. The power is beyond comprehension. There was no other decision to make, greta. Its a terrible thing but it had to happen. How about the design of the zoo itself . How is it that a child can get under a fence, even have this happen . Greta, that had been there 35 or 40 years whatever it is. The zoo is one of in the country. I have grand kids and kids. We all as grandmother and grandfather, whatever, or father, we have a responsibility for our children. Im not going to blame the lady. I was not there by the way. Im saying we can take this place right here. We have a fence behind me. Behind me now are giraffes, lions over here. All kinds of stuff. We all know this could happen at a play park. This could happen at a water park. It could happen baseball
whatever. The point is we have these things here to tell us to stand here. Parents with their children. Things happen. Its happened with my children. Im telling you we cant get much safer than we are. Safety is our number one goal for our employees and visitors and animals. We practice safety all over the world. This zoo here has given millions of dollars to the goorls in the wild. The zoo world, the 221 zoos in this country have given tens of millions of dollars to the gorillas over the years. Millions of it if it wasnt for the zoo logical park the gorillas wouldnt be here. 900. People keep talking about this animal going extinct tomorrow. They are not going to go extimght. I guarantee you. I have washed out things have gotten better over there. People say this is the most endangered animal. This one is gone. Terrible this one is gone. No doubt about it people have to realize this is a human being in this thing. These other two gorillas. They were females. One was a female. If at the zoo in brookfield that gorilla was hand raised at the zoo because the mother wasnt taking care of it put it up there. Ofof course she held the baby and someone got it both of these kids that were gorillas had were unconscious. This child was conscious screaming. What would you, greta, if you are in a big old silver back is there all the family goes inside the building. He is standing like this with this thing in the moat. Is he screaming, people are screaming. This big old silver back. Is he riled up. I could tell, greta. I have worked with these gorillas so long. No telling what would have happened if they popped it with a dart. That takes five to ten minutes. Is he going to go like this. Is he not going to know where he is he knows that maybe this little thing gave him the dart. What do you think would have happened, greta . What would have happened would have been something you wouldnt want to witness. Indeed. Is this a good time for us to relook at the design of zoos and see the fencing and separation between the people going to the zoos and the animals . Greta, its almost like saying well, if you stand
there in whatever city new york city, columbus, do we move the streets over . We do everything here. We cant do anything more than what we are doing. Other than building the wall around the animals. People say we love the gorillas why did this happen v. To happen . Why do they love them . They see them in zoo logical parks. They surely cant see them in the wild. We cant do much more than what we do. Jack, i will tell you, i love the columbus zoo. I have been there many times with you. Its just extraordinary. Its wonderful to go to zoos. Families love zoos. This is, obviously, very sad for everybody. But, the child is safe and thats what matters at this point. Right. Thats the good news. Right. Jack, thank you, i hope to come to the columbus zoo soon. We will see you soon. Thanks, greta. Ted williams is here to talk about possible criminal charges thats being discussed in ohio and in the gorilla case. Plus, deadly flooding is swallowing texas neighborhoods. We will take you there live coming up. And, remember exillinois cop . Sergeant Drew Peterson . The Cincinnati Police are now launching an investigation into the incident. Police are looking at everything and everybody, including the boys parents and the zoo. Now, what kinds of charges could we possibly see . Criminal homicide detective and criminal defense attorney ted williams goes on the record. Ted, first of all, you know, my first eyes would be on the zoo. I mean, what kind of fence is there to prevent the public or, you know, because children are, you know, they are unpredictable. You are absolutely right. I think jack hanna put it in place. He said that for 30 to 40 years there have been barriers. But the question is. What kind of pairier . Thats the big question. What kind of barrier . Greta, the big major question that everybody wants or is asking is should the mother be charged . I think we have to step back, take the emotions out of this and remember, kids will get away from parents in a nano second. For this kid to get through that barrier, under that barrier and get into that motor i would have to look really at the zoo. All right. I agree. I totally agree. Parents, kids get lost all the time and break away. They are totally unpredictable. The fencing does i would like to take a better look at the fence. How does a three or four year old child get over a
fence . We are not talking about adult. I think we dont want to do too much of a postmortem. I believe that the zoo acted appropriately under the circumstances. But this was a beautiful, magestic, wonderful animal. He was banging look, i love animals but he was banging that child around. It was inevitable what was going to happen. You cant keep slamming some kids skull against the side of that cement. Thats what jack hanna said and i do agree with him. You couldnt take the chance. It was a human or the animal. It had to have been to save the human life under the circumstances. One Animal Rights group called stop animal exploitation now has already filed negligence complaint against the zoo with the u. S. Department of agriculture and seeking a max pump possible penalty of 10,000. There has been one other incident im cognizant of at that zoo where two bears got out of an area that they should not have been in. And the zoo. Did they get out because the fencing was inadequate
or door open. I think in that instance a door was left open. Look, we dealing with wild animals. We are dealing with a zoo. You cannot take any chances if in fact you are an employee of that zoo. It is very questionable. Its a very tragic incident all around, greta. Its just terrible. Looking at this video, its just horrifying. This could be a completely different story tonight, really ugly story where we are not talking about a gorilla having been shot but as a child as everyone sat and watched. You are absolutely right. If that child would have been harmed, we would have been here today saying why didnt that zoo act appropriately. Like everybody else, i hate to see this beautiful animal shot and killed, but the child takes precedent. Anyway, im going to ask the viewers. Now is your chance viewers. And here you can see homes submerged in the dope water. And brace yourself, more bad news. The flooding is not expected to end any time soon. Fox news correspondent Casey Stegall is live in richmond, texas. Casey . Greta, good evening. We have talked to some neighbors out here who say they have never seen it like this before. Im going to hop out of the way and let you take a live look at whats going on behind me. Look at this. Water up to street signs and mailboxes. Garbage cans floating along. People using boats instead of cars. At least seven people have died here in texas those floodwaters keep on rising. Dozens of high water rescues have been carried out over the last several days. People plucked to sathe hardestf the region stretches between austin and houston. Some spots receiving up to 17 inches of rain so now the
trouble is downstream. Communities along the river are bracing for the worst. The river normally floods at 45 feet and just crested today at nearly 54 feet, the highest it has been since 1994, according to the National Weather service. All that water has swallowed up cars, homes, and businesses. People who live here can only wait and watch as they wait for those water levels to recede sooner rather than later. And then check this out. Even livestock running for higher ground. It is texas, after all. Hundreds of people under mandatory evacuation orders tonight in communities like rosenburg and wharton, texas, about 30 miles to the southwest of houston. Shelters have been set up across the region for everyone who has been displaced. But meteorologists say it could get worse before it gets any better. Storms are in the forecast unfortunately for most of the week. So, any additional rainfall could only exacerbate as you can see a dire situation. Greta . Boy, casey, it does look awful and dangerous. Thank you, casey. Fox news meteorologist janice dean is tracking all the storms. Janice, i guess you dont have any good for those people in texas tonight. I wish i did. This has been ongoing. This has been a big story for the last several months. In some cases they are seeing record levels of flooding over the springtime for places like austin and houston where they have gotten over 2 feet of rainfall in just a matter of weeks. And you can see right now on the map we have a lot of rainfall now from south texas all the way up to dallas. And the threat for severe weather, including large hail, damaging winds. We had a couple of reports of tornadoes south of the Corpus Christi area. Now we have severe thunderstorm warnings. Not only the flooding but the Severe Threat where we could see the potential for strong to severe storms. Look at the radar estimated precipitation. Brennan, texas received 19, over 19 inches of rainfall in just a matter of 24 hours. And you can see the flood advisories, that tells the story. Much of texas under flash flood watches or warnings for the next several days. We have an area of low pressure that is moving in to the texas region. I this know that the pictures that you see on your screen really tell the story of the incredible amounts of rainfall and we have another storm system thats going to move into this area and bring the potential for an additional four to six, even eight inches of rainfall over the next several days, greta. So this is going to be an ongoing situation. And, of course, you heard Casey Stegall say a dire situation. That is indeed what they are in to right now. Especially in the forecast here for houston, texas, all the way up to dallas where you have storms in the forecast for the foreseeable future as we have had this weather pattern. Where storms just cant move very quickly. And, therefore, it just drenches the ground and look at the threat for severe
weather, again, for parts of texas in through oklahoma and arkansas and louisiana, so an ongoing situation for this region that just really doesnt need to see any more rainfall. And i wish i had better news in the foreseeable future, greta. Looks like more rain is in the forecast for much of the lone star state. Back to you. And, of course, we know that seven have been known dead. I dont know how many people are unaccounted for. These numbers could get even more wicked. But people always saying, you know, how you can help . This might be a good time to go on red cross help people. Janice, thank you. And coming up, why are some guys in yellow shirts dancing.
