Tap dance. There it is, the door. Thanks for tining us in tonight. Thats it for special report. Here comes greta and special report online begins in three seconds. Tonight, on the record, all your news right here. Ivanka trump talking about her father and women. You will hear directly from ivanka straight ahead. Also, danger, the new threat every president ial can at that time is facing tonight. The freddie grayord in trial and new information about when that verdict will come down. Right now facebook trying to clean up the mess over news that the social media empire manipulated your news feed to be more liberal. A meeting wrapping up moments ago. Fox news Claudia Cowan is outside facebook headquarters for us. Claudia . And, greta, we are already hearing from one of the attendees that this meeting was a success and that Facebook Ceo Mark Zuckerberg was sincere in organizing this gathering to quiet the storm of controversy currently surrounding his social media company. Zuckerberg really doing some serious damage control here following reports that his company deliberately expresses news and issues that are important to conservatives. Its an allegation he denies but there are lots of questions about facebooks controversial trending topic section and how it works. Facebook claims a special algorithm blindly combs the site for what people are reading and comes up with a list of whats trending, regardless of politics. But according to one former facebook staff, conservative stories get down played because the news curators who designed and worked the algorithm push a liberal agenda. Zuckerberg needs to show that stories, for instance, irs scandal or benghazi get as much play as stories about, say, transgender bathrooms and same sex marriage. Dana perino, fox news cohost of the five says facebook was smart to act fast and call this meeting. The perception problem big headache. And they cant afford to lose the trust of about half of American Voters and participants in the process because facebook as a brand really needs to keep that trust. It takes years to build trust and only a moment to lose it. Critics point out that facebooks chief news curator is a big supporter of Hillary Clinton and that zuckerberg himself has been active in immigration reform. Cofounding a nonprofit called forward u. S. Thats driving policy change in an area thats important to many liberals. So, a lot of todays meeting high tech in nature, talking about that al gore recidivism algorithm and thousand stories trend. A lot of todays meeting rebuilding trust and reassuring group of conservative commentators that personal viewpoints are not spilling over on to this website that reports to be unbiased. Back to you. Claudia, thank you. Rob louie, the editor and chief for the daily signal was inside that meeting and chairman of the conservative union matt slapp turned down invitation to go. Claudia characterized it as, quote, a success. Do you agree with that characterizationization and what makes it a success . Well, i think it was a first step. Lets put it that way. It was a conversation that i think facebook should have had a while ago. It certainly opened the door. And i think it will be a success if facebook follows through and continues the conversation with conservatives. Not just conservatives but i think they should be ebb continuing the conversations with everybody in the political spectrum to make sure they are treating all the content fairly and not discriminating or suppressing any political points of view. Do they deny it . He did not they talked a little bit about the al for rhythm. There is actually a continuation of more meetings taking place right now on the campus. In which they will go into greater detail. One thing that came out that was clear, certainly they need to do a better job of educating both the publishers, conservative news sights and conservatives in general about how the website operates. I took away a Greater Transparency and conversation Going Forward. Rob, if you will hold on for a second. Matt, you didnt go. Why didnt you go . I didnt go because i think this is a p. R. Stunt. I think they needed conservatives to sit around the table so that after the meeting they can say we have met with all these conservatives and we had this great conversation going. And Everything Everything is going to be smoothed over with conservatives. What i just heard from rob and i love rob, rob is a good guy. What i just heard from rob is they didnt apologize. They didnt admit it . They didnt acknowledge they have a problem. They are doing their own investigation on this internal. I thats why i said the fox out of the chicken coop. This is an old clinton ploy. We checked it out and everything is fine. They are not promising transparency. I want to see exactly how they treat conservatives and treat everyone. Rob, what did they say about doing the investigation . Why not give it to somebody outside the organization . Doctor zuckerberg say anything about that . Well, two points. I do want to acknowledge that, matt, they did acknowledge that they do have a problem and i think that was one of the reasons that they had all the conservatives come out for this meeting. Is it a problem with a pr or do they have a problem in that they are sorting through and deliberately massaging what goes in that trending section . Which is the problem . So the throning section was one peels of it conversation about the news feed and certain conservative pages maybe getting blocked or taken off of facebook conversation extended beyond trending topics which is a relatively minor piece. What i dont understand is the problem is they think they have a pr problem or the problem that they are doing it . Well,. They certainly acknowledge that there was a problem with getting the message out to conservatives in terms of having correspondence and communication with them on a regular basis. And they need to do a better job of that there was clear, clear distinction of that. On the investigation piece, greta, they are going to respond to senator john thune who is with the Commerce Committee and has promised an inquiry on this. We would expect to hear more on that soon. Nobody outside the organization of facebook is planning to investigating. As far as i know. They will be conducting that interriblely. I was more sympathetic to facebook until now it looks like to me i realize rob and dana went there and very good that they went there and talked. They havent said they have a problem beyond a p. R. Problem. Look. When youre gonna really solve a problem you dont start communicating. Communicating is not the problem with facebook. Everyone has a Good Relationship with facebook in and out of there. What they havent done is acknowledged they have done something wrong. Whistle blowers be. Is it wrong . Cant facebook put whatever they want. Im a conservative. I dont think the government needs to intervene and tell facebook how to run its business. You cant fraudulently explain that your business operates one way when it operates another way. If they are the New York Times and the Washington Post and want to run their company like the lefty that they they have the right. We have a right to know thats how the algorithm works. Go ahead. No. I was going to say, to matts point they acknowledge that and they made that message loud and clear from the conservatives in the room. If facebook is going to be a neutral arbiter and be fair across the board they have to live up to the standards. Thats a high barred for them to meet. If they want to present themselves as a liberal entity like the New York Times and the Washington Post admit it conserving also know where they stand on the platform. As it stands facebook reaches over a billion people. A lot of conservatives use it the Heritage Foundation daily signal will continue to be active on facebook because we know thats a community where conservatives certainly value and some back away and probably step off of facebook as a result of the recent p. R. Controversy. Let me give matt. This is positive step. Let me give matt the last word on. This well before facebook called they only called me when we had a problem. We met with facebook and said hey, help us understand how to use your platform. Help cpac how we get our message out better. They werent interested in helping us. They got caught with their pants down. Hands in the cookie jar. Thats probably a nicer description. Thank you both. We will see what facebook does do. Trump sat down for a meeting with former secretary of state Henry Kissinger. Former speaker of the house and coauthor of the brand new book we discovering god in America Newt Gingrich goes on the record. Good evening great to be with you. Good evening. They all went to kiss the ring on Donald Trumps hand. Today we saw donald trump go down and see Henry Kissinger. Whats up . Yes. First of all, henry is 92. I think its a legitimate legit visiting him to kiss his ring. Henry depose all the way to president john f. Kennedy. Its amazing how long henry has been involved in National Security issues. I think its a good thing. They know each other. They have talked by phone. But this was a good hour long meeting. And i recently visited with henry for a couple of hours. Is he still remarkably current and has a lot of very useful insights. He has been a guest here on the record many times. He has always been fascinating to interview. Whole getting into the car and almost like the broncho case o. J. Simpson the cameras followed donald trump crossing fifth avenue headed down to see kissinger. Part of the phenomenon of donald trump and why he won the nomination so decisively. Also, sort of caught in this problem now. Okay. He is going to be the nominee. Should he go listen to really smart people or is that a sign he doesnt know enough . I think its a pretty smart thing to recognize that in Foreign Policy and National Security there is some people really worth visiting and Henry Kissinger would be on that list. All right, mr. Speaker, moments ago, donald trump using the word rape when talking about president bill clinton. That was in an interview with sean hannity that will air tonight at 10 00 p. M. Eastern. Your thoughts . The reference as i understand it and i havent seen the whole interview is he was accusing the New York Times not doing much of an investigation when they spent six weeks and two reporters on him. Since i havent seen the interview, i have no idea what trump was referring to, i mean, there have been all sorts of allegations. There have been people come out of the woodwork. I always thought it was bizarre that the New York Times decides they are going to take on donald trump when his relationship with women and do such a bad job that the centerpiece of their story goes on tv to say that the New York Times whole story was a lie, exactly the opposite of what she said. Meanwhile, have you, for example, clinton took a whole series of trips with a convicted pedophile, including five trips where he left behind the secret service. And, if i were the New York Times, i wouldnt want to get involved pill is such a targetrich environment. Why would you even look at trump . He is not the candidate. Does that make a difference . At what point how much is Hillary Clinton going to get attacked because of the whatever her husband does or doesnt do. Is he on the campaign trail. One of the issues that trump is going to clearly come in on is what hillarys relationship was both with bill and with the women. All sorts of allegations about that in addition he gets into this issue about treating women. I point out recently the Clinton Foundation pays men 38 more than women. You have a whole series of these things where they say one thing over here and do a totally different thing over here. All right. Let me ask you a quick question. Are you being vetted in any short of way for this Vice President job in the fbi called you . Has trump called you. No. No one has called you. No one has called me. Anyone who works for trump called you . Not about that. I talk to the Trump Campaign all the time. We have not a Single Person has talked to me about being vetted in any way. All right. Mr. Speaker. Nice to talk to you. No one has talked to me. Thank you. This is a fox news alert. Donald trump releasing a list of 11 potential trump nominees to the United States Supreme Court. Fox news correspondent Shannon Bream is outside the high court. Shannon . All right, greta. This is a list that we think the trump camp released in an effort to beef up his conservative credentials with those who doubt him. You look at this list, and it is, you know, kind of for some conservatives a wish list of the kind of people or persons, actual individuals they would like to see on the court. A mix of federal and state judges. These arent academics or lawmakers, people who dont have a judicial paper trail. Its established. People can check them out. Lets talk through a few of the contenders so we know who talking about here. Stevencologyton federal judge. Princeton and yale grad. He is considered a conservative. He clerked for chief Justice William rehnquist, you know, one of the conservative icons here at the court. Also on this list diane sycks, she has long been on the conservatives wish list. Female. Conservative, served on the seventh circuit. Also appointed by george w. Bush, notable opinions pushing back really tough gun restriction notice chicago area. Another federal judge on this list also appointed by president bush 43 William Pryor who served on the 11th circuit. He has been involved in controversial things in alabama. Also known because of his initial nomination to the bench by bush 43 was held up in a democratic filibuster. He was in a recess appointment to the bench. Eventually part of a bipartisan bill gang of 14 in the senate. He did make it to that seat where he now serves on the federal bench. Interesting there are state judges involved here from the colorado Supreme Court, from the utah Supreme Court. We have Justice Thomas lee. He is the brother of senator mike lee, somebody who has also been suggesting as a potential nominee to the court here. He clerked for Justice Clarence thomas, also a conservative hero here at the high court. You have got a very interesting wild card pick, i think, from the Texas Supreme Court. Justice don willet from down there. We have talked about his twitter feed. I have followed him. Cheeky guy on twitter. He takes shots. Mostly good natured shots at public figures and he has tweeted about donald trump, basically saying i cant imagine the kind of person that he would nominate to the high court. Now Justice Willet finds himself on this list. Number of people come from key states colorado, iowa, missouri, minnesota. Pennsylvania. Places that we know. It would be good for the Trump Campaign to have favorable chatner those states. One of the folks we reached on this list said he had never heard anything about it. Nobody reached out to him. He had no idea that he was being considered or vetted in any way. Another justice or judge has come out publicly and said the same thing as well, greta. Interesting to note as well today that trump said, listen, im not married to this list, essentially im not going to tell you its going to be exactly one of these 11 but it will be these kinds of people. Definitely speaking to the conservatives who have doubts about what he might do. Shannon, thank you. Umhuh. Why did donald trump make these picks and why release the names now . Senior policy advisor to the donald Trump Campaign Steven Miller goes on the record. Good evening, sir. Hey, great to be here. Okay. So who actually put this list together . Did donald trump sit down in a room and put this list together with anybody. This list started getting put together actually right after the very unfortunate and untimely passing of justice ask a lee a you may remember in that debate donald trump named the first two names or two of the names that you cichon that list judge pryor and judge sycks. He began directing at that moment in time a process for a nationwide search to find the best proconstitution judges in the country as a guide for what kind of judge he would pick so we dont repeat some the mistakes of the past we have seen with republican president s who have chosen judges with thin records, not well known, not a lot of case history and then we have gotten some pretty terrible surprises. All right. Now, obviously everyone is consumed with the Texas Supreme Court Justice Willet, he is quite active on twitter. Not as active as donald trump. Is that problems with the vet . Have you thought about that . I think what makes this list so special is the rigorousness with which the decisions were made solely and exclusively based upon what these records show about fidelity to the constitution of the United States. Judicial philosophy and avoids law making from the bench. Okay. The list is actually quite extensive. Has he met with any of these people . Well, the way you too Something Like this is you want to look at the public record. This is not about interrogating individuals personally about what they believe. This is a list where you wouldnt have to have a veto conversation with somebody and say hey, between me and you, what do you believe . These people have long public reviewable records. We are not going to get a surprise like we got with Justice Roberts or surprise like we got with Justice Kennedy or like justice suiter. The whole point of this list is we are saying look at these records, American People. Give us your feedback. Lets have a conversation about what kind of judge we want and lets not do the surprise selection that has hurt us so much in the past. You know, its sort of interesting. Sort of a populist figure and is he going very conventional. I mean, all these people have gone to the fancy law schools and been on the u. S. Court of appeals. Why are they reaching down to find the regular lawyer or professor or somebody who somebody actually represented people in landlord tenant court or done hands on representation . I would say, again, not to be repetitive but i think the point of this list was to choose people with long, available, reviewable records on the court, standing up for the rule of law, standing up for rights of citizens who have been violated and not trying to do what we have done in the past to try to find some kind of very well known person and be surprised later. As far as populism is concerned, there is nothing more populist than the rule of law. The rule of law always protects the rights of people against the elites. Sometime you and i need to have a discussion if thats so why the Fourth Amendment has iten some exceptions written by so many conservative justices in the Supreme Court. If thats not activism or rewriting the constitution i dont know what is. We are going to stand up for the rule of law and bring crime down and protect american families. Anyway, its very nice to see you, sir. Thank you. And just a short time ago, donald trump sat down with sean hannity when talking about trade, trump had a few words for president obama. We want you all to do well, america first. When china is ripping us, you look at trade deficits 500 billion a year. Who is negotiating this deal. You want fair trade. You are not a protectionist. You want better deals. I want fair trade. The problem with fair trade, the people we have now are incompetent. The president is you know, he used the word the other day not a nice word but is he an ignorant president. He is an ignorant president. He doesnt know whats going on in my opinion, knock and the opinion of plenty of other people. Do not miss the rest of seans interview. We are hearing a lot about it from our reading online about it anyway, donald trump tonight. 10 00 p. M. Eastern on hannity. And campaigns on alert. Everyone running for president better be careful. The news could potentially destroy a candidate. That story is next. Also, ivanka trump is speaking about her fathers alleged women problem. That story is coming up. Ruining your perfect record. Yeah. Now you would think your Insurance Company would cut you some slack, right . No. Your insurance rates go through the roof. Your perfect record doesnt get you anything. Anything. Perfect. For drivers with accident forgiveness, Liberty Mutual wont raise your rates due to your first accident. See Car Insurance in a whole new light. Liberty mutual insurance. Now the president ial campaigns are targets. Director of national intelligence, James Clapper telling the boy partisan policy center that hackers are trying to infiltrate president ial campaigns and brace yourself about this. Some of those hackers may be from foreign governments. Tech expert rust goes on the record. Nice to see you. Good to see you, greta. How are you doing . Good. How serious is this . This is very serious. Not only serious for the campaigns but serious for americans as well. In what way though . Tell me how this is serious. Its like i assume that first of all, hack something bad. I got that im not in favor of hacking. What kind of information could possibly be contained . There is donors lists. Money. What what dont people know already . Sure. So you read the headlines that there are Cyber Threats to a website. Thats not news. Whats news is obviously there are government officials where government being targeted. News maybe these are other countries. Thats not really new. Whats new here is that there are a bunch of employees that are part of these campaigns and hopefully they get the message that its really not about the website. Its about their personal information. Its about their personal computer. Its about their phones. So they are the real ones being targeted hopefully employees and friends of employees. If you know someone thats working in any of the campaigns. You potentially could be targeted. So thats really the news here, greta. Its that its not just the website. These websites, yes, they have the fbi and cia going in from the Cyber Security and making sure that they are secure. So just like you said, so they get the logins. But first they get the logins and then, potentially, the same login you use for the website you use for facebook, you use for your email. So these countries, professional teams of computer hackers will track down your friends and then track down you, obviously one of these camps are going to be in the white house by the end of the you know, very soon. And we will know by the end of the year here. And so the threat is that these people that are new to government are new to being a potential risk now are being hacked. And the hackers will go in their computers and sit there and wait until they go to the white house. Thats a real threat. How easy is it to hack into these computers . It depends. If you are someone that clicks on everything you can, everything that everyone sends you, its very easy. There is fishing phishing attacks, attacks that you can open. Everyone sees these emails. People see emails with a lot of misspellings from people you dont know and you dont click on them. You delete them. The real issue here is that these professional hackers from around the world our enemies and maybe even some other hackers are tracking down who is in the campaign, then they are going to their social network, and seeing who their friends are and even targeting friends of people in their campaigns and then you will get an email. If you are in the campaign, you will get an email from a friend whose computer has been hacked. So there is thousands of ways to hack these computers. Anyway, russ, thank you very much. I hope that the campaigns are paying attention. Thank you, russ. Yeah, so do i. Thanks, greta. Take care. And making College Great again. The College Professor behind the college course, trump 101 is here next. And you know him from joan loves chachi, now actress scott bay owe loves trump. Scott baio ahead. They help reduce wear and tear on my legs, becuase they have triple zone protection. And reduce shock by 40 . So i feel like im ready to take on anything. Its trump 101. A georgia College Professor begun teaching a course about g. O. P. Prurem donald prurm donald presumptive nominee donald trump. Three credit hour courses so a standard course and today actually was the first day of class. We had 15 students. Im actually expecting 18 next week. And we have room for a couple more because we try to cap summer classes at about 20. Thats a good enrollment. When i first heard about, this i thought you mean to tell me these students dont know about donald trump . They havent been following whats going on . They need to actually go to school about this . I was a little bit i was sort of shocked. Tell me what will they learn in your course that i dont think they shouldnt already know from paying attention to Current Events . Sure. I think that the premium in this particular class is going to be on how we can connect some Political Science concepts to trying to understand the donald trump phenomena, whether thats in terms of his ability to have navigated the mechanics, complicated mechanics of the primary process, whether how he has been seemingly successful in terms of his ability to work with the media. And, also, just looking at his the phenomena of donald trump as the sort of, frankly, businessman turned entertainer. Now turned politician. Those will be some nexts that i think will get at some different aspects that were all going to try to tie back to Political Science. How about the fact of timing . We have a timing in history that the American People want an outsider and for whatever reason, although i think Bernie Sanders is an insider, he is perceived on the democratic side as an outsider. What about the time in history . Will that be part of your course . Oh, it certainly needs to be. Because once again, whether this is defined as sort of a populist sort of a theme that seems to be resonating both on the republican side with donald trump, but also that populist sort of a theme that seems to be resonating with democrats in terms of a Bernie Sanders campaign. Those will certainly be sort of historic and, again, bringing that historic sort of a context of populism into current day with both of those candidates, i think, is going to make for an interesting angle and certainly discussions that well have. All right. I only have 10 seconds left. Do you intend to call donald trump and ask him to come into your class or skype into it . Well, please. He is certainly welcome to. But, greta, can i certainly extend an invitation right now to you because we are going to be looking at the role of media as well. So whether donald trump or perhaps yourself, you are more than welcome to come and guest lecture in the class. Well, im always tempt to do do that. Anyway, nice to talk to you. Thanks for the invitation. Please. Thank you for having me. Donald trump has come under fire for his alleged behavior with women, but trumps daughter ivanka has this to say. I want to ask you about the New York Times. They ran a front page article this sunday about your father and the treatment of women. Did you read it . I did. And i found it to be pretty disturbing based on the facts as i know them and obviously i very much know them both in the capacity as a daughter and in the capacity as an executive who has worked alongside of him at this company for over a decade. So, i was bothered by it. But its largely been discredit since. Most of the times when stories are inaccurate they are not discredited and i will be frustrated by that. But in this case they went so far, they had such a strong thesis and created facts to reinforce it and, you know, i think that narrative has been playing out now and there is backlash in that regard. I do want to read you from parted of the article. It says many of the women interviewed, quote, reveal unwelcome romantic advances, unending commentary on the female form, a shrewd reliance on ambitious women and unsettling work place conduct. Is there unending commentary on the female form . No. This, again, is an article that is widely being discredited. The lead person who was interviewed for the story and that the story opened up with is all over the news yesterday saying that they manipulated what she was saying. I dont find is it that meaningful to comment on this particular story because i think the facts are starting to speak for themselves. You have worked so closely with your dad. There is another woman quoted in the article that says donald trump gropsd her at, you know, at a meeting, a business meeting. Yeah. Well, look, im not in every interaction my father has but is he not a groper. Thats not who he is. I have known my father, obviously, my whole life, and he has total respect for women. He was promoting women in development and construction at a time when it was unheard of. There was no trends towards equality and real estate and Construction Industry back in the 1980s, and he was doing it because he believes ultimately in merit. Well, as trump works to mend fences with women, what about the hollywood vote Actor Scott Baio goes on the record. Nice to see you. Its nice to see you, greta. Thank you. Okay. So in 2012 you endorsed governor mitt romney, the then republican nominee. You have now endorsed donald trump. Governor mitt romney is at odds with donald trump. Even trying to get rid of donald trump as the potential nominee. How do you reconcile those . I just think the whole situation is a disgraceful. I dont know what mitt romney is thinking. I actually think he might be a little bit jealous because donald trump is maybe a bigger businessman, and he is probably going to win the white house. And mitt romney want to do win the white house. He couldnt close the i think its absurd and im incredibly disappointed in the way hes acting. Is it at all possible i mean, donald trump has got a lot if he is going to be president he has to win the womens vote. Thats a big issue. Thats not what we brought you here to talk about. But what about the hollywood vote . Hollywood is traditionally a democratic vote and in fact there is hostile things, Jennifer Lawrence said she want to do scream obscenities in Donald Trumps face. Does donald trump have any chance of winning any of that hollywood vote . Jennifer lawrence needs to read a book or two and maybe watch the news once in a while instead of watching propaganda. I dont think donald trump needs to change anything. Hollywood is going to vote the way hollywood votes. They are predominantly liberals and i cant understand why because Hillary Clinton is basically a socialist and if they want all their toys taken away from them, eventually, you vote for her and thats fine. I think Donald Trumps message, he doesnt have to change anything because the guy doesnt pander, greta. His message, to me, is just a proamerican message. Its about strong economy, strong military, building a wall. Getting rid of obamacare. All the things that this country needs to get right again. And so to go to the hispanic community, the black community, its the same message. Im going to try to get you jobs. Im going to try to get you jobs. Work hard to change the economy, fix the economy so everybody can move up and work their way up the ladder. Whats your theory on why Bernie Sanders is still in the race against secretary clinton . I think there is something kind of interesting about him and i think she is a horrible candidate. I think she is a bad human being. I think she is crooked and corrupt. And i think a lot of people are finding that out. And i dont think they want to be involved with her. She is going to get the demonstration though, greta, there is no doubt about it the head of the dnc pretty much said she is going to. At the end of the day, i just dont think she is a likeable person, you know. I met donald trump when i was in new york last week, and it was just fantastic. The guy could not have been nicer. He was a gentleman. He was good to my daughter. He spoke with her. He spoke with my wife. And so, when you compare the two, and i know you didnt ask me that, but when you compare the two, the guy has presence and charisma forget about. I mean, it was unbelievable. So to get back to your question, i think she is just a bad candidate and young people need to know what socialism really is. I dont think they do. And once they do, they might change their mind about hillary and Bernie Sanders. And to quote my colleague neil cavuto on at 4 00 put you in the maybe category for voting for Hillary Clinton in november after what you said. [ laughter ] anyway, thank you very much for joining us. Thank you. And baltimore is on high alert, a verdict in the second freddie gray trial is coming soon. On the record Griff Jenkins is straight ahead. On the record griff Griff Jenkins is outside the baltimore courtroom. He has been inside the courtroom all week, griff . Hi, greta. The big news coming from judge Barry Williams himself. We can expect a verdict from him monday morning. Closing arguments tomorrow as you mentioned, each side will have 45 minutes. In court today, the defense closed with two final witnesses. First a fellow father of neros present at the scene on the morning of april 12th who testified he observed the van carrying gray shaking back and forth and heard yelling coming from inside. Another witness a veteran of 17 years on the police force who testified about police procedures, namely that of seat belts and prisoner transport. Ultimately he concluded that nero acted in a reasonable manner. Nero himself, by the way, did not at any point take the stand. Now, all eyes are on the closing arguments. We expect two central questions to be addressed of the. First did nero exceed authority in arresting gray in the first place and second was he criminally reckless in helping to place gray in the transport van and not seat belting him. That is going to be a lot of talking about and worth noting that we wont see these attorneys in this bench trial making impassioned pleas to the jury. There is no jury. Rather, its going to be legal applications of the law with regards to those two central questions. Greta, and we have all of this here and its worth noting, finally, im hearing here in the court a lot of people talking about are their National Implications with regards to Law Enforcement Going Forward . That certainly depends on the outcome of this trial. Greta . Griff, thank you. And we still have not heard who donald trump might select as his Vice President ial nominee. Is senator rob portman on the list . Is he here next. war drums beating fight heartburn fast. With tums chewy delights. Today donald trump unveiling a list of possible Supreme Court nominees and what about the other list that nearly everyone is waiting for, trumps Vice President ial pick. Ohio senator rob portman has had his name thrown around. Is he on the list . Good evening, how are you . Big parlor game who is on the list and who is not. Are you on any list or anybody from the fbi called you to see if you would willing to be vetted. No. Nothing. Do you know anything about any list . Nothing at all . Nada. You are not just taking the fifth, you know nothing. Im not interested. I got my own race in ohio. I love the job i have got. Im not interested to be on the list. Okay. Good. All right. Let me move on. Unifying the Republican Party is a task that donald trump has in front of him. I mean, every republican to the extent that he can peal off any bartender voters. Almost every day i read about romney is mad about something about trump is he at war. The party is coming together because donald trump is talking about the stuff people care about. Talking about a stronger economy, helping our national defense, assuring that we have the ability to restore americas place in the world. People like that. And thats whats going to make the difference is what he is talking about in terms of policy issues. He did submit another list today, which was some of the Supreme Court judges that he might pick. You know, representative list as he said, i think. I think that helps, too. So people knows he is surrounding himself with god people. Really lacy of possible choices or telling party. People i would choose interpret laws rather than legislate from the bench that might give people some comfort. What do you think about him going to see dr. Kissinger today. I think its good. He should talk to all the experts out there and Henry Kissinger calls me now and again. He is unbelievable. He must be 92 years old. He gives me advice and counsel. I will listen to it he has a lot of experience. We all expected there would still be a food fight in the Republican Party it seems like a food fight still in the democratic party. Hillary clinton has it locked up. Bernie sanders still biting at her heels. Whats going on there. First of all, you are right. We have our nominee. And it may not be official yet but it certainly is the presumptive nominee and so were going to go in our convention in a much better position. I dont know what happens on their side. I saw the numbers last night. Kentucky was so close and he won oregon. So i think they will have a lot more dissension on their side than we are going to have on our side. Your state is hosting the convention. Can you give us any inside scoop what to expect . I think its going to be great. Cleveland is amazing city. People will be amazed by the lake. Its beautiful. Its right time to be there on the lake. Great restaurants. Great neighborhoods. Rock and roll museum. Rock and roll hall of fame is there. Its a great city. Lots of things to do. Are you coming . Im coming. Going to both of them. Anyway, senator, nice to see you. Greta, always nice to be on with you. Take care. Lets all go go offtherecord. Grim news today. My Fox Business Network colleague gerri willis announcing she has breast cancer. Yeah that is really lousy. Many of you probably nodding your head thinking been there, done that comes on the heels of john stossel returning to tv last week after receiving treatment for lung cancer. Stossel looks good. I hear him say he feels good. Its been rough. As for gerry, not sitting back. She is going to fight this cancer head on. With all the wonders of american medicine and her determination, im confident she will win. In the meantime, there is no doubt about it, it is rotten because cancer treatment, while effective, is often tough to endure, even scary. While i hate the news about gerri, i really hate to hear it i hate to see anyone get that news, im confident she will beat this. She is tough. As always though, news like this stops me in my tracks. Maybe you, too. Remind me to put things in perspective. Remind myself what really matters in life.
