Killed by members of the joint Terrorism Task force yesterday in the roselyn dale neighborhood of boston. He had his initial appearance in the u. S. District court. It was had a lawyer there and some relatives who declined to speak with members of the media. And an affidavit was unsealed that gave details about this alleged plot to attack Police Officers here in the united states. What was the plot . Any details in terms of like, you he know, and even whether the group was bigger than just the nephew and the uncle . Was it a bigger group . Did they have any plans on who they were targeting . Well, what we know from the affidavit that was released in court today is that the initial plan was to attack an officer outside of the state of massachusetts. At some point on tuesday those plans changed and there is an allegation that usama rahim sent a message to his nephew, david wright, saying that he wanted to act now, act with urgency and commit this act in massachusetts. Now, as for whether there were other people involved, there is some discussion of a third individual who was apparently in rhode island. There was some sort of meeting between all these parties some time in the recent past. But this person is not named in the affidavit. All right rahim as i understand it had been under surveillance for quite some time. You know, what first brought him to the attention of the authorities and is he in any way connected to like an overseas terrorist group . Well, we dont really know yet what exactly brought them to his attention. We know from police that he was being watched 24 hours a day for what they described as some time. We have also heard several weeks. We have seen his Facebook Page and he does list as one of his likes as the Islamic State of iraq. Now, whether he has some sort of formal relationship with that group we dont know. Why did he want to do this . Whats the motive . I dont think anyone has disclosed a motive for the federal authorities Boston Police department. That is something thats just unknown right now. And so tonight one is dead from yesterday one is in custody. One may be in rhode island of some great interest and we have no idea whether to expand beyond that. No, we dont right now. It seems like those are the three locations. Roselyndale where usama rahim lived everett where his nephew lived and some sort of search of a property in warwick, rhode island. It does not seem that anyone has been taken into custody or charged with a crime. Laura, thank you. Thank you. And a former jihadist speaking out. He is not surprised by the alleged boston plot. If isis calls for attack on police then it will happen. That sheikh joins us. You are not surprised by this why . No, im not surprised. Isis has put out this call some time ago. We have already seen a number of incidents where they have answered that call in that message. It says basically attack police. It says specifically attack police. Military personnel. Canada has had an attack where you two military personnels were attacked with their car, which is exactly what the message suggested. Do whatever you can. Use a knife use your car. So we had two attacked. One soldier killed. In australia there have been two instance. One incident where an 18yearold was brought in for questioning by the police also under surveillance and then attacked them with a knife. Another plot that was interdicted which prevented that in belgium you had isis supporters. The plan was to attack Police Wearing their uniforms. This is just another one in that line. All right. You are a former jihadist. What in the world is the attraction . Can you imagine for this uncle and nephew to want to get hooked up . I mean assuming that the the hooked up. All we know there is a like on a Facebook Page. What in the world is the attraction to this one . Well, i wanted to make a quick point on that. We should not be looking for formal alliances. Those days are over. They dont want formal alliances. You just have to support them. You just have to will it, declare your allegiance to it you dont even have to say it outloud and you are on their side. If you do something is, they will take credit for it just like the garland attacks were the two individuals. They had no formal link to isis but isis congratulated them and congratulated the attack. That like in itself does tell quite a bit. Im certain that more of the social networking will bring up more on that. As to what they want from this look, this ties in very well with the current narrative of police on black shootings. The first report came out that or the first allegation was he was shot three times in the back. He wasnt shot three times in the back. He was shot twice in the torso. One in the back. And, in fact, a Police Officer himself was also shot by friendly fire. So a lot of information will come out. Im certain that i mean, the video of the shooting is being viewed by clergy people. Activists in the community. I think has he already done and at some point it will be released in the public. I do suspect you will see this individual lunging at the police with his combat knife. Well, im encouraging the police to release it to it everybody now. They are releasing to a select few already and to sort of, you know, stop all the mystery and wild imaginations involving the shooting yesterday, you know, it would be wise for them to release it widespread i think. But, anyway, thank you very much for joining us. Thank you. This is a fox news alert. A new plea just moments ago to save baltimore from deadly violence. On the record on the ground is commissioner anthony bats made this plea. This is is all hands on deck. All hands every single resource. Every single body, every Single Personnel on the streets of baltimore. On the record Griff Jenkins was at that news conference. Griff do they have a handle on this . Greta if anyone is under seej commissioner batts behind me saying all hands on deck. What he described turf war going on because of the onslaught of drugs on the streets in baltimore. Announced that at least 27 permanencies were hit in permanencies leading to farmer is is pharmacies. Leading to. They are trialing to get a handle. Commissioner standing with the head of the fbi and dea trying to get things under control. He addressed also the challenges in morale in the officers out there trying to do the best they can under the situation. We also spoke earlier today to the president of the fraternal order of police. Lt. Gene rine and he spoke about an after action report thats going to be issued his folks, undertaking this to find out what happened and what all the communications were between the command here and the officers out in the field. He spoke about he says, 160 or more officers and firefighters were hurt in those riots. So, things are very hot here. We spoke with gene ryan, fraternal order of polices head earlier and here is what he had to say. Morale is very low and for good reason. The officer more afraid of going to jail for door their job properly than they are of being shot and killed right now. So thats whats going on and as we started with commissioner batts greta there was a plea he that every Single Person out there, officers, the agents, the federal agents, that there is an effort to make sure that we continue this fight. He was very passionate. Greta . Griff, thank you. And around the country crime rates are spiking. Police departments feeling under siege. Joink us our joining us our panel. Katie first to you the situation in baltimore at least tonight having to do with Gang Violence and drugs. Up in boston its a different situation. Its where the police may be targeted by terrorists wanting to behead them. Whats going on in this country . Its a crisis of confidence. It would be unfair to say its only boston or baltimore or missouri. He we are seeing a crime surge across the united states. North being tampered by anything. And the reaction that has to come from not only within the police force it has to come from the community at large there has to be a reassurance that Law Enforcement can do its job without fear of any type of retribution for going out and policing the streets. You know, ted my heart bleeds for these Police Officers. I have been on the street talking to them and i have been to the memorial just recently. They are feeling so frustrated because they are getting hit from the gangs and from the people who are trying to kill them and the political leaders arent standing behind them and the political leaders are the ones who got the money or promised to fix the community and they didnt. The police getting squeezed in the middle and getting blamed. You are absolutely right. All you have to do really is look at baltimore as an example of what you have just represented. You have got the states attorney there who is at odds with the police department. My suggestion to her, in order to lift the Police Officers morale so they can feel confident and go about going out on the street and doing their job would be be that she should meet with each and every Police Officer. Actually, she should step down from this prosecution. Thats what she should do. If she wants to send a real message. Greta, i was going to lead to that i think a change of venue. If she does not fight a change of venue then these Police Officers may believe that she is being fair. If she fights a change of venue, its unfortunate the scenario he is going to continue there and you are going to continue to have violence in baltimore. Katie people have forgotten every time there is a car accident or there is a robbery or there is an amtrak train that goes off othe track with a twisted car, the police are the very first ones to arrive to take care of people. And for some reason, i dont know what it is, whats going on in this country, i dont blame the police. I dont blame them whatsoever for feeling under siege and having a bad morale. The way they are getting treated, at least by the press isnt even very favorable. You are absolutely right. The first thing that happens when anything bad happens is you call 911. You dont sit there and make a judgment call as to whether or not you are going to get a good cop or a bad cop. You want help. The First Responders that put their lives on the line all the time. Ultimate sacrifice for perfect strangers are Law Enforcement. Everybody needs to remember that were not painting a picture thats so rosy that everything is great everywhere you go. But you cannot allow an individual to do their job in the the way that theyre supposed to be doing it, then how are you ever going to feel confident to walk down the street and think you can do so safely . Panel, stay with us. And ouch. That must be what former secretary of state Hillary Clinton is muttering tonight to herself ouch. Her Favorability Ratings hit the skids seven years since they have been this low. A new abc, the Washington Post poll. Only 41 of americans think the democratic frontrunner is honest and trust worthy. Former New Hampshire governor john shah new new joins us. Thats a horrible number. 41 . Its going to continue. She is these numbers are a reflection of at least two problems she has. Number one the steady drip, drip drip of attacks that she is seeing not only from trucks but frankly from Mainstream Media like the New York Times and the the Washington Post. And, number two she seems to have made a decision in her campaign that she is not going to respond. She is not going to show up. She is not going to answer questions from the press. They seem to be counting on the energy of their base and gender politics to take care of it in the long run. I think they are making a mistake. Whats interesting though is that i dont think she has to talk to the press to win. You know, thats the decision she has made. I think she is wrong. I think the American Public at some point are going to say we have to hear directly from the candidate through the press to discuss whats going on. Now, if she can run a campaign where it looks like she is in huge crowds answering questions. She might be able to take a little edge off that negativity. This is a fox news poll. 2016 nominee preference among democratic primary voters. Clinton now 57 . But in may it was at 63 . That number is coming down. It is and if it keeps dripping down like that through the end of the summer, she may find that some of the potentially more serious candidates than the challenges she is looking at now, perhaps folks like john kerry or folks like joe biden will be signaling to the democratic leadership that if she is continuing to have these problems, they might be available. I think she has got to deal with that. You think the secretary and the Vice President would jump into this race . I think if she gets down under 50 and 49, 48, 47 and it keeps dripping they may signal to the leadership they are available. They may not signal overtly to begin with. If the leadership gets nervous in the Democratic Party this thing could turn out different than she is planning. How does she rescue herself from declining numbers. She has got to go out and be a real candidate. The American Public does a real god job looking at candidates. They sometimes make mistakes. They are looking for somebody who is talking to them. She is not talking to them. She is on listening tour but she isnt talking to the public. Its amazing number of people in the republican field. I have never seen some people. You have . Its so stunning. Its going to stunt the polls. When you put hillary head to head against republicans. When they call odds are 90 of them are not supporting the one candidate they have paired with hillary in that question. There is is a tendency to suggest you might vote for hillary just so that your candidate looks a little better. So she is going to get false comfort from her head to heads for a long time. Do you think donald trump is going to get in . I think donald is going to do whatever is best for donald. He is one of the great showman in the world. If he does get in is he going to make it interesting. If he is on that panel of 10 when they do the debate, all the eyes will be watching donald. And governor jeb bush, when is he going to get in . He has waited a long time which enables him to do certain things raise funds that he might not otherwise. When does he get in. I dont know for sure but im guessing before the end of the month but thats a pure guess. Governor jindal is in too. I think they are all in. Look if you have any semblance at all of an interest in Higher Office and you are a governor, the only place to go is up and that up is the presidency. You are going to see a lot of those. I would be tonight in iowa, tomorrow night last night, every night, i would have rented a how house in iowa and knocked on doors. You should have rented in New Hampshire. Thats because you live there that was a trick question. Look forward to your book coming out soon. Next tuesday. Whats the date . Next tuesday on your show. Governor, thank you. Thank you. Possible big break in the d. C. Mansion murder mystery. Also Katelyn Jenner controversy. Big award for the olympic star. Why are critics calling foul in the story this is a fox news alert. A possible break in the investigation into the murder of a washington, d. C. Family and their housekeeper. Fox washington reporter marina morocco has covered the story since the beginning. She joins us live. Marina . Greta, there have been slew of documents that were unveiled today in d. C. Superior court. Amongst the most striking of the evidence is what is dispelling what cathy that near had said all along. She said there was no forced entry here to the home, she reaffirmed that on several occasions. Detectives in the new documents saying there was in fact, forced entry into the home. They say there was a broken window pane in one of the french doors that leads to the exterior of the house there were also signs of forced entry near the lock of that door that also happened to be next to the alarm system of the home. More striking in all of this is a shoe print that was found just outside that door. Now, detectives say that they looked to match that shoe print with the firefighters boots that came out oand responded to the fire out here. Well that shoe print didnt match the firefighters boots. They also say firefighters told detectives they never used that door to gain entry to the home when they came to battle the flames. So whose shoe is it . Thats the big question in all of this. And according to these documents, we have also learned the three victims amy some savopoulos. Their cell phones were taken. Not only do detectives want to find those phones they want to subpoena phone records to see if they can pinpoint g. P. S. Locations after the fire that would potentially lead them to additional suspect is. Also missing the digital report corder has gone missing. Greta, i will tell you tomorrow will be three weeks since the murder. Tomorrow will also be two weeks since the arrest of the only suspect in connection with this murder darron wint. According to the documents according to the documents the crime requires the assistance and presence of more than one assistant. Still no additional arrests in this case. Marinena, thank you. A search warrant brings spotlight on the must savopoulos. Mr. Wallace and the fact that he gave inconsistent testimony it. We already know that they have darron wint locked up. He is the guy that delivered the cash. I dont get this part of the story. If he delivered the cash, he didnt have to make a stop at the home. He could have just taken the cash and gone. You are absolutely right. He is saying in the affidavit there that savvy savopoulos asked him to bring it to the home and put it in an automobile. The thing is, if he was part of this plot, i would have just taken the cash and not gone to the home. I dont think he was a part of this plot. I think he was somewhat involved but collaterally. I think that this cell phone holds a key. A cell phone will tell us everything we need to know about this. Katie if is he delivering cash and he is part of just delivering cash, he is part of this, he is in deep. If he is delivering it if he was part of the criminal enterprise he is in to the murders, too. Its the principle theory. Its the same idea, the get away driver who waits outside of the bank during a bank robbery is just as guilty as the person going into the bank. If jordan wallace had some involvement, he either tipped off darron wint that the 40,000 was going to be there. I wholly believe that the affidavit is accurate. There is more than one person involved. It may be jordan wallace. I do want to recognize that the d. N. A. Hit that came back for darron wint is courtesy of code does. A Law Enforcement data base. The Law Enforcement arresting darron wint and other people that are involved they are the ones that are making sure that the arrests are made and prosecution are as air tight as can be with the evidence thats found. I would expect at this point and even though its early on that the prosecution would have gone to darron wints lawyer and say you are facing four life sentences. And cut a deal. To see if there were other people. You know, i would agree with you. Whats the deal . Whats mysterious about this is when darron wint was arrested. There was a box truck with his brother in the box truck with some of the money from savopoulos in the box truck. Darron wints brother has gone free. Hasnt been arrested. You have got to show some sort of guilty knowledge. You can show that he was an accessory after the fact. The mere fact that he was there with his brother who there was a warrant for. I dont think the mere presence of the cash is enough at this point. You never know, i mean, ted you know, you can eventually arrest him. There may be more thats to come. Im happy to see that these search warrants are showing that they are tracking down this information. In this day of technology, lets be honest, everybody texts each other. I bet there is incriminating texts that exist between these other people in these sides. I wouldnt want to make a bad arrest to a case that got thrown out. I would look for more evidence. Lock them up. Ted would lock them up. Maybe i would later maybe. Ted and katie, thank you both. This is so evil. Wait until you see what isis is doing now. On the record takes to you iraq. Thats next. Plus iraq war veteran adam one day a rider made a decision. The decision to ride on and save money. He decided to save money by switching his motorcycle insurance to geico. Theres no shame in saving money. Ride on, ride proud. Geico motorcycle great rates for great rides. New report tonight that isis terrorists are doing the unthinkable. They are closing the date at the ramadi dam. That means a vital water source is cut off for cities controlled by government forces. Grn reporter Campbell Mcdermott joins us live. Campbell, tell us what they are doing to this dam. They closed the gates to this dam which is located near the river. The strategy appears to have downstream water level on the euphrates has drop. And this is allows isis to move more freely. The isis strategy against isis in anbar is to seal off access to ramadi. But now isis is going to be able to travel across the river at any point meaning more iraqi troops will be needed to halt it. Drinking Water Supplies are threatened some of the last area held by progovernment forces in anbar. I was going to ask you about the humanitarian aspect. Any idea the number of people who are going to have their water supply cut off . Yeah, well, u. N. Was already supplying Emergency Water to township to tens of thousands i believe. The fear is the situation now could get a whole lot worse with the euphrates water supply in jeopardy iraqi forces are releasing some water from the lake downstream so the Southern Province will have some flow still coming through, this is a temporary solution only. It will only last for a few days. They are saying they need to either retake the dam, which is going to be difficult because its in ramadi or maybe destroy it with ire strikes. Air strikes. What is the plan . Wait it out in if they cant go in and throw isis out and reopen the dam whats inevitable . Just that these people are going to be without water and strategic advantage for isis. Is that the end of this . This is something that ices is has done before. Last summer when they were across iraq they took control of the mosul dam briefly and they also tried he to take the dam euphrates. The fear was the same then that they would either stop the water supply or kept those ones inundate southern iraqi. Retake these dams and u. S. Irstrikes enabling the kurds to recapture the mosul dam and to prevent isis from taking the hadith i cant dam, campbell, thank you Coalition Forces have already killed 10,000 isis militants. Adam kinzinger joins us. I would say 10,000. Thats a huge number. About i read general stanley crystals book where he said they just replace them. 10,000 is a good number. I think that the dod needs to be releasing these numbers more. We dont want to get in the trap of judging success like we did in vietnam by body counts because we saw there that doesnt work. I have always held that people, you know, getting radicalized in their parents basement that are looking at the propaganda of isis need to see what actually happens. Show the Living Conditions of isis soldiers. Not just a bunch of guys running around with ak 47s having a good time pillaging towns. Its a very devastating way to live. We have to show that more. This to me does not say we fight. This says we are killing some people. All this is look at the story talking about. Look at the land isis is chewing up in iraq. 10,000, how do we know that . Well, my guess is, after you do a strike you get somewhat of a Battle Damage sea. Nobody is on the ground . See when i was in iraq, if we destroyed a target or a target was destroyed people would land and actually do counts. They are not doing that now. My guess is its probably somewhat of an estimate. We havent killed. An estimate is the word nice word for guess. Its a guess. I think its got to be somewhat close to that do i commend the dod for saying the body count number because, again, we have to send the message to those that are thinking about going to turkey and going into syria and radicalizing and fighting for isis that is this is not just a good time at summer camp. This is going to lead to you being killed potentially. No doubt step up the strikes and coordination with ground forces. That would make a lot of sense if i thought that they had some sort of survival instinct. Give up lives in suicide bombers. Im not so sure how much announcing the 10,000 is, an act would discourage in how much it would encourage. Well, i dont know if its necessarily the thing thats going to win the war for us and i want to be very clear on that. I think again, i dont think everybody joins to go blow themselves up in a market. Thats why they still have the survival inticket when they fight on the battlefield. If they didnt they would run out to fight iraqi soldiers. They get into these groups in many cases and they get radicalized and brain washed and say the best you can do is drive this explosive laden humvee into that building over there and go with be allah. The dam thats terrible. Its a huge deal. Its a strategic advantage for isis. Im sure if it cant be taken back, probably there will be an air strikes on it just to defend the area. But. What does that do . It will re it will flow the water back into the river so it creates that National Barrier again. That may be the only option its that or lose the ground. That has consequences. There is a purpose for having the dam in the first place. You want to stop some the water flow. Thats right. If the only solution is to bomb the dam now there is going to be a lot of water flow thats uncontrolled. We are engaged in a situation where there is only bad options now. Every day that questions by where isis gains more territory and put more territory ieds out. Solidify the area they are. In the choices get worse and worse. This is why its essential for the president to do Oval Office Address to the american people. Talk about whats happening and talking about how we are going to win this war against isis. To this point he has not done that and people dont feel he has a grasp on this. Thank you sir. Thanks. State Department Firing back at a report that Irans Nuclear stockpile is growing. John kirby is here next. Controversy over Caitlin Jenner, a big award havin you know our new rope has actually passed all the tests. Were ready to start with production. Ok, are you doing test markets like last time . Uh, no were going to roll out globally. Ok. Well start working on some Financing Options right away. Thanks, joe. Oh, yeah. Its a gamechanger for the rockclimbing industry. This is one strong rope huh joe . Oh, yeah its incredible how you doing team . Jeff you good . [jeff] i think i dropped my keys. [announcer] you work hard to build your company. Wells fargo will work right alongside you, bringing the expertise your Company Needs to move forward. Wells fargo. Together well go far. The today the state Department Firing back after claims that the stockpile has grown by 25 in the last year and a half. What does that mean for the deal in negotiations . John kirby joins us. Good evening. First i should ask you is it true you in the last 18 months has the stockpile grown by this amount . Well, its true that the number of low enriched uranium that they have kilograms is above the level that theyre supposed to meet by the end of of the this month of june 30th. But they are not in violation of the joint plan of action. As long as they reach that level at the end of this month. So they are above it right now, a little bit. But its not at a level where they couldnt get down to where they need to be by the end of this month. Thats number one. Number two, i think its important to remember this is low enriched uranium greta. You cant use it for in a weapons program. It could be used for peaceful purposes and then the third thing i would say is we expect them to meet the level that they agreed to meet. They have done this in the past twice in the past. They have gone a little bit above and met the level at the appropriate time. We have every expectation thats what they will do this time too. Am i correct that even the New York Times admitted that this was not a material that could make a bomb. Am i correct in saying that the administration thought that it had been frozen and this is a little bit of a surprise that they had been growing their stockpile. I would not characterize this as a surprise. Again, we have seen them work through this process in the past and produce material and when you produce this material, you know to have a peaceful program you need to have a technical process of enriching uranium at this low level. And so you have to exercise that process which means you are producing material. So we have seen them do this in the past. But they can get down to the appropriate level that 5 enriched uranium by doing other things with that excess either converting it to a gas or transporting it out of the country. So i wouldnt describe this as a surprise that we have seen it before. And, again our expectation is that they will continue to meet their agreement under the joint plan of action. All right. Is president assad forces, are his forces of syria assisting isis right now and sort of moving toward aleppo. Im not i dont have the ability right now to confirm exactly what assad is doing with his forces. We have seen them certainly go against opposition members and we have seen them battle isil as well. In the process sometimes and separately sometimes. What i can tell you is we are committed to what were trying to do in syria which is to limit the movement, freedom, the sustainment of isil and to get some modern opposition members trained up so they can take the fight to isil inside syria. There are complaints coming outs of capitol hill that the state department is not moving fast enough, providing documents Benghazi Committee up there. They are now threatening to cut your budget. Your thoughts about that . Well, secretary kerry has made it very clear that he wants to improve the process by which we handle and manage the freedom of information act program and to be as transparent as possible. He has made that very very clear and state department are working on that very very hard. Cutting that part of our budget that is used to fund that office, and their efforts, we believe is counter productive. Again, we take our obligations to transparency seriously. Secretary kerry has laid that marker out to the staff. I would also add in the last several years we have seen triple the member now the freedom of information act requests that we have been dealing with. There is a bit of backlog that we have been trying to work through but we are committed to doing that. We miss you at the pentagon but we are so glad that you have moved across the river and you are at the state department. Nice to see you. Hope you will come back again. I will, greta. Thank you so much. See more of my interview with john kirby just go to gretawire. Com. A student at American University killed trying to save lives in isislinked suicide bombing. And see whats possible. Botox® cosmetic. Its time to take a closer look. A student at American University dead. Killed at attack at a mosque in saudi arabia. That student died heroically trying to stop that attack. His best friend and one of his teachers join us. Good evening to both of you. Good evening. Rajatta first to you. Why was he in saudi arabia . I believe just to finish his final two weeks ago and he went back to saudi arabia to get married. He was engaged two days before it happened. Professor, you knew him as a student. What kind of young man was he . Oh, he was really sweet. He would also sit in the front bench in class. He was always smiling. And then he would come to see me during office hours. And during these conversations i got to know him really well. Very, very sweet. Very kind. Had a deep faith and he always believe in doing good for others. He believed i had made god happy. So a really nice person. What happened . Do you know the details of this horrible tragedy . About three weeks ago there was another bombing at another mosque, so they wanted to prevent it from happening again. So they volunteered to protect the mosque. And he was one of them. He was guarding the mosque. And there was there was the bomber showed up dressed as a woman. And they told the woman to stay home that day to prevent it from happening. So he was suspicious. And he was trying to keep him away from entering the mosque. And thats when it happened. You know, professor, this is just not supposed to happen to students. This is a young man who is here in the united states. Building a big future. And now this. I mean, how do you reconcile this . You know, i know its really sad but some part of me is also happy just knowing the kind of perch person he was. There is a Bigger Picture to this whole thing and he always believed in doing the right thing. If you would have met him you would know he would have done anything for anyone without putting himself first. There is a lot of good in it also because it jus us its like a role model for us in how we are supposed to be when someone needs help you go all in. It doesnt matter who it is. I think he is showing us how people are supposed to be in general. You know, im in favor of that but what a price to pay. Heres your friend who, you know had a huge future ahead of him and, you know, now because of this vicious you know, suicide attack, trying to help somebody, he is dead. I wasnt surprised. I was shocked when i heard the news. I wasnt surprised that he had done that he always put people ahead of his needs. So i wasnt surprised. Like he would always help others and he knew when he was volunteering what he was getting into but he still wanted to do it to help others. What were his plans .
