No conversation taking place in this situation. I dont know why they want to be irrelevant in the conversation. But now the senate is run by the republicans so they can bring that to the floor. They need to get 60 vote to get the cloture to have the debate and its being filibustered and thats what happened again today. According to the auditor gruber investigated for overbilling. Overbilling is a nice way to say stealing from the state of vermont. While working on his healthcare research. Is gruber had a contract with the state of vermont to do this healthcare. And now being september to the attorney general for investigation why . First of all the auditor of vermont got these documents without a subpoena. He basically just asked gruber for these. There hasnt been a real investigation yet. But what we have is we have gruber submitting invoices to the state of vermont under a contract where he was supposed to detail hourly billing for himself and research assistance. He submitted summary bills without any detail at hours that the auditor found were impossible for him to accomplish when you say impossible, why impossible . What were the numbers . Well, for example, and this is simple math, even for a stupid American Voter like me, have you and i have got it written down here just so i dont forget. For one of the invoices, which is september and this is just an example, he billed out 500 hours a month for his research assistance. Well, the auditor found that he only had one Research Assistant. So if you do that math, you find out that they had to have worked 125 hours a week. That one Research Assistant. And that narrows that works out to 18 hours a day every day for a month or if you just worked a five day week, that would be 25 hours a day. That cant happen the 25. At least this dumb american can figure that one out there. Are only 24. All right, now, were these paid . I mean who is the one who is paying . I mean these bills were submitted and thed by the state of vermont . They didnt look at them and say they were supposed to be itemized dont have 25 hours in a work day . Well thats where it gets interesting. And the auditor even criticized the Democrat Administration up here for. This the people who are supposed to be year seeing this contract did not demand any details at all from professor gruber. They just said they just asked for summary bills and then they paid them without question. What did vermont get from this why the way . Griewbler was hired and this is what try to sell to us vermonters a single payer healthcare system. And obviously that didnt happen. By the way, did he get paid the full amount on the contract . There are some bills that are outstanding right now. Two invoices, and the original, the first invoices, where he was billing out for 25 hours a day for Research Assistant that bill had the 20 withhold right now. So they have held back a little bit of money. But it is really not a significant amount. And what the big thing here, greta, and this is where there is going to be a problem for gruber potentially, is federal money was involved. So this is potentially a federal crime. U. S. Attorney should be getting involved in this. I just cant believe they havent already. Maybe he thought we were dumber than they thought about adding up the hours. I dont know. We will see.
