Long. Can you see now the burned out husk of the building. The people who are here. The real question is can this town make it through another night without any violence, despite some fresh aggravating factors that were thrown in the mix in the biggest of those agra vaghtd factors a videotape released by the police today, Surveillance Video of mike brown in a Convenience Store. The family doesnt dispute thats mike brown on the video. They dont dispute he roughed up that Convenience Store owner, took the cigars, the real question now is the question of the timing. The family calls it a Smear Campaign and says what really matters is the fact that he had his hands in the air and was fired upon by the police. Also complicating things is that the police chief Thomas Jackson seemed to change his story. Earlier in the day he said mike brown was originally confronted because of the robbery. Later in the day he said that officer Darren Wilson wouldnt have known anything about the robbery that he stopped mike brown and his friend Dorian Johnson in the street because they were walking in the middle of the street blocking traffic all of that goes into the mix. At the same time, ron johnson of the state troopers getting so much credit after taking over here for diffusing the situation. He still says he sees no reason for police to be in this area as the people you see here demonstrate. Greta . Mike, thank you. And after five nights of clashes between Ferguson Police and protesters, things suddenly changed during last nights protest. Missouri governor turning over the town security to Highway Patrol captain ron johnson. Last night was a great night. The great night. There was no calls for service. We did not deploy tear gas. We did not have any road blocks. We did not make any arrests. It was a good night. People were talking. People were inspiring each other. People were getting their voices out and we were communicating a lot better. They were communicating better with us why have many leaders and activists out there yesterday that were helping keep the road open, informing the crowd and thats what i expect to continue throughout this event our department along with san los county had a good night. We went down to the quick trip yesterday and walked and shooked hand and talked to people and listened and promised that we are going to communicate better and were going to give answers to their needs. And were going to continue to do that each and every night. The governor has asked us to provide security. He wants to make sure that people of are safe and they have a right to protest and speak their mind. Thats what he has asked us to do and thats why we are here. Were you here last night . You are going to see a bunch of smiles and hugs and conversations. Thats what you are going to see from me. When you see me tonight down there you will get the tone of my conversation is going to change. Hold on, but can i also tell you that in our anger, we have to make sure that we dont burn down our own house that we dont go down there and vandalize our own buildings. We can stand on the sidewalk and talk about our issues and talk about what we want and what we need in a conversation that needs to happen. And we can make that happen. What i dont want is us to go down and burn our own that does not prove a point. That does not solve issues. That hurts this community. And thats what i dont want. I agree this is not a black and white issue. Because we all have sons and daughters we do need to communicate better because you saw what happened yesterday. We do need to communicate better. The governor talked about old wounds. This is an old wound. Its time to say old wound. Niger joins us. Good to be with you, greta, as always. Is captain johnson, listening to him, is he the hero in all of this so far at least . So far. He is a hero. He brought a great deal of calm into a situation. I think the local Law Enforcement underreacted first businesses the first night or two. By the way i note, including black businesses that were black owned that were also looted in the first couple of nights and the police did very little to address it. It seems like the pendulum swung in the other extreme and they were too engaged. You have to give johnson his props. He is doing a good job so far. Where do you put someone sharpt . Oh, these racial arsonists like al sharpton and Jesse Jackson in the new black panther party, they are a disgrace, they are a villain. They are a danger to our community. They are a danger to our. You know, greta. That very week that this young man lost his life and thats a strategy that he would lose his life. Whatever the circumstances were. There were 26 blacks that were shot in chicago. I saw no Jesse Jackson. I saw no al sharpton. You know, i saw no barack obama, president obama making statements about this. Thats his own by the way. Chicago is where obama is from. He has been silent about the killing fields it is safer for young black men to be in iraq and afghanistan than downtown chicago. Thats the president s home. He and his con signature larry known as attorney general eric holder have been silent. They could have stepped up on this real clear and present danger to outcome black men, but they have been missing in action. They are a disaster. And, quite frankly, they have added to the racial arson within our country. They havent taken away from it. So what could they do . I mean, how do we put the lid on sort of the simmering tensions between the two races over this and get to the bottom and sort of sort out the facts and find out what happened, how it happened, and take all the appropriate steps . The president of the United States, the first elected president of the United States could have come out and said lets bring perspective to this situation. It is a tragedy that this young man lost his life, but we need to get the facts of this case. This case is being investigated, oh, and by the way, my black attorney general is also investigating it. And so i ask for calm. And i give perspective that america in 2014 is not mississippi in 1964. And thats a perspective that this president , of all its failures, and he has many, of all his failures, he has failed to communicate to the american people. In fact, quite the contrary. Eric holder, his con has played the race card and the president has placed the race card and two most powerful people in the world have acted like they are victims. Niger, also nice to see you and thank you for joining us. Thank you, greta. With the tea party. Net, im the executive director by the way. Thats right. Tea party. Net. Thank you, sir. Thank you. Ferguson police chief now saying the officer who shot Michael Brown did not know at the time of the shooting that Michael Brown was a robbery suspect. So the officer involved in the shooting, was he aware of the robbery call . I dont know. I dont know what came out in his interview. I know his initial contact was not related to the robbery. It was related to. Blocking roads. You are telling us that when the officer stopped Michael Brown the first time echesz not aware that Michael Brown was in a robbery. No he was coming off a sick case which is why the ambulance was there so quickly. What are you saying, chief . Did he know that he was a suspect in a case or did he he not know. No. He didnt. He was walking. That had nothing to do with the stop . It had nothing to do with the stop. Why at this point, at this point, why did he stop Michael Brown . Because they were walking down the middle of the street blocking traffic. That was it it. Did you find evidence of the stolen merchandise on the body . Yes. Earlier, the chief did release a video that was basically what we think was basically smoke and mirrors to try to divert the attention away from what really occurred. The events that took place on canfield had nothing to do with whichever Grocery Store michael may have been in or the person on the video was in because we dont know that that was michael for sure. Whatever that took place there had nothing to do with the individual getting down on his hands and knees, raising his hands in the air and saying dont shoot. This is a universal call for i surrender, and can i hear my cousins voice right now as i speak saying dont shoot. Yet, still, the officer stepped to him and shot him is what we heard from officers. And that is wrong. We want the truth to come out and we are sure that it will as the day goes on. A lot of questions tonight about the release of that Surveillance Video and what is in the Police Report. Joining us former prosecutor katie fame and defense lawyer ted williams. Before we get to the video, ted, and the documents that were released. The Police Officers name was finally released. Too late or shouldnt be released or whats the story . Well, my position is, im not so much concerned about the release or the Police Officers name irdo want transparency, you want to make sure that the officer himself is not harmed. But we knew who Michael Brown was. And we knew a lot about Michael Brown today. So i have really no problems with that release but that would not be the prominent thing in this investigation for me. There is Something Else i would like to see and thats that autopsy report. And we will get to that indicatey, i actually think the name should have been released sooner. Given the Police Officer protection so that he is not harmed. But by sort of holding it back its sort of fueled a lot of suspicion. We dont hide names like that when people get charged with shooting we dont bury that information. Thats right. Normally it will be released as a part of the report as we saw today. Normally its released in advance. Its a part of the Police Report when they go out there. Is nothing to hide it created a little bit of a suspect connection that pressured to be able to release the name of the officer. They now release an incident report with the video surveillance. That kind of creates the tension that you are seeing right now. What about the releasing the video in the the family, ted says, that its smearing him because now the police chief is saying that the officer who shot brown didnt know that there had been a robbery. Greta, the release of that video is suspect. And troublesome. Now, granted, i can tell you i on transapparently he release the officer did the shooting and explain narrative of what happened. But make very plain that the officer didnt know about the robbery. Yeah. But the chief of police didnt do that he did just the opposite. Look, this video was released in parallel to the Police Officers name coming out it was long to release the video it should have been part of the investigation. Captain johnson of the Missouri State police took over this investigation. You would have thought that if anybody was going to release anything in this investigation, it would have been through the Missouri State police. Usually these things are sort the prosecutors sort of hold on to these things if there is going to be a prosecution released at that point. So maybe ted is right that this is not sort of routine that you would release a video like this. I would be very quick to rush to judgment on this. If you think about it, if you look at the report itself, it does link the robbery at the Convenience Store to the shooting that happened of mr. Brown. Except, indicatey, let me ask you this though. The thing that bothered me about the release of documents, they dont say what happened in the car. At least the documents i have they come right up to the point where it doesnt even talk about anything that happened in the car. Doesnt talk anything about the shooting. Where is that incident report . Why didnt that get released . Greta, you are absolutely 100 right and on target. We are more concerned about what happened at that car what led to the shooting. It was it a justifiable or unjustifiable shooting. The chief of police remembers saying the officer was not aware of this robbery im suspicion, why are they holding them back, if they are going to play the transparency card, where is it . It dogs suggest that they are cherry picking everything they want. The was for the robbery of the Convenience Store. It does crossreference a fact that Michael Brown and Dorian Johnson were the primary suspects in this Convenience Store robbery and that you know, mr. Brown was the victim of a fatal shooting. Whats the relevancy . If you are going to release the videotape and surveillance story as part of the narrative of what happened, even though its apparently not linked to it, should have released the narrative about what actually did happen. Why are you holding that back . Absolutely. Because what they are waiting to do is they are waiting to do their investigation, once their investigation is complete, remember, you have got the fbi involved. Now you have the st. Louis county involved. You have got the Highway Patrol involved. Once the investigation is completed, he they will make a declaration whether or not it was a good shoot, quote, unquote, or not. But absent the investigation completed they are not going to release the report. You dont piecemeal an investigation. More than anything else, i want to seat autopsy report. That will give us a lot of information. Typically we would see that much later on. Once you start unrolling documents you should release a lot more. Absolutely. Thank you very much. Stay with Fox News Channel for the latest on the developments in ferguson. This is a fox news alert. A grand jury indicting Texas Governor rick perry for abusing the powers of his office. And threaten they were going to kill you if you dont get out of there, beheading children i understand. We saw the same thing in the sudan. We saw the same thing in kosovo. People on the ground slaughtering christians. Christians should be praying for them and the world should be denouncing these acts of terrorism and genocide. Around the world from iraq it to iran to sudan to north korea and beyond. Christians are being persecuted. And former senator Rick Santorum joins us. Thank you very much, greta. These people are being persecuted because of their thoughts and beliefs is this growing. Unfortunately it is. This is a problem lets pin it where it is. This is radical islam. Radical islam is intolerant of any dissent, including other muslims. I mean, one of the things that is also pointed out is that moderate muslims are also suffering under this sharia compliance that is driving christians out of radical areas as well as just the violence that is being perpetrated on them. Burning of churches, killing of clergy and now you are seeing masses of people. Does the koran have tolerance for other beliefs . Because you say its radical islam. Does the koran itself allow for diversity of thought and faith . The koran is a a mixed bag. There are verses that they hold on to and justify their activities there are other verses in the koran that socalled moderate i wouldnt say socalled but moderate muslims hold on to and say there is a lot of, you know, ability to live with others and tolerate and have tolerance. So the koran is sort of whatever you want to justify, there is verses in there for both. That creates the problem. How do we stop this . We see whats going on in iraq. People convert or be murdered. So what should the United States do or not do . Well, this is something thats been a problem with islam for a long, long time. And now these radicals are seasoned upon, when i say a long time, i mean thousands of years ago. Over a thousand. Not thousands. Over a thousand years ago this was the standard. And you have folks who are living in the, you know, the 8th century and 9th century and trying to resurrect that period of time. What do you do . You know, greta, i have been on your show many, many times. You have to confront it you cant ignore it it you cant say because we killed one person, usama bin laden thats that its gone. When you see a rise of it and seen a constant rise of it in countries all over the world. Even muslims in that. Egypt recognize the threat that it is to muslims generally. So what do we do . He is confronting it he is wiping it out. So what do we do . I think what we have to do is engage with those who want to partner with us and do what is necessary isis being first and foremost in iraq. We have to begin to partner with, hopefully, the new Prime Minister there to engage in a way thats constructive to eliminate this threat. Do you see us doing that . I dont see any leadership being provided by this president. I think this president is content to take a step back to let others i mean, here we are where there is a war going on in the middle east with hamas and israel. And the egyptians are setting up the peace talks. I mean, thats where he were. We have retreated from world leadership. As a result of that, we have no say in the future of those countries right now. You mentioned israel. You are headed there . I am. Why . To show solidarity to the israelis. I mean, we have seen in just reports in the last few days. That this administration is doing everything they can to try to force into a very bad deal to a ceasefire. Not to be able to defend themselves to stop these missiles from coming to stop the tunnels from being used to bring terrorists into the country. And we need to stand up American Public supports israel and we are going to be there to make that statement. Senator, nice to see you have a good trip. Greg palkot just spoke with the archbishop and greg joins us live. Greg . Catholic church is a man with with his hands, church run 25 refugees centers in urbeal alone. He sees and hears firsthand the horrors that are perpetrated on christians by isis in iraq. Here is r. A few of the observations he shared with me. A a warning, they are not too hopeful. Practically speaking, end of christianity, we stay. There will be christians staying. But we would be an article in the history books. Most of them would like to go back to prepare their papers and leave the country. No way. Some people would ask us are you going do you like to stay . I usually turn the question and ask them do you like us to stay . Its not, i mean, its not that we dont like to stay. But it depends on you, if you like me to stay. A key point that warda made to me is this its not just hundreds or thousands of isis militants causing horrors against the christians. It is the antichristian fever that is in cited in many, many more in iraq. Also capable of robbing and attacking. That is why he says many, many of these people do not want to go back home, greta. Greg, thank you. And a short time ago the United Nations acting unanimously endorsing a resolution calling for sanctions those who finance or give military source to isis. Thats the u. N. What should the Obama Administration be doing to help christians around the world. Joining us lt. Colonel oliver north and ambassador john bolton. First to you, colonel north. Humanitarian aid. Growing in number and gaining ground, and they have a ton of money, are they going to be giving humanitarian aid forever . Dont we have to get isis . That United Nations resolution that says other countries dont have to aid isis. Isis has their own. Its the Wealthiest Terrorist Organization on the planet. They generate about a Million Dollars in revenue a day from the black market. The only way to deal with isis isnt by dropping supplies and water and food to humanitarian relief efforts. We have got to start dropping bombs on isis. We have got to do that at their command and control nodes. Logistic supportplaces where th. We know where theyre. One of the good things we have got in intention services is the ability to detect that it cant just be in iraq. It also has to be in syria. Ambassador, youve told us that president obama doesnt understand religion and religious if a that theism, thats what you told us. Im curious, its not just ice is sis in iraq. We got boko haram doing the most unthinkable killed 100 people. Slit their throats while saying god is great. It is many places what are we supposed to do if we are supposed to do anything. I think the president has got to confront the reality that we see isis perpetrating in syria and iraq. Other extremists around the world. I think the president suffers from a a fundamental defect shared by many in american academia and political side that he doesnt see that these religious if a that theisms can arise from something other than poverty. Its not economically based problem. Its ideological problem where in an ideological struggle against radicalized form of islam. I think in the form of isis, the one that confronts us immediately we need a president ial decision that the United States has to lead a coalition to destroy isis. We cannot let it hold territory because its only a short matter of time before isis attacks not christians and uzidiss in iraq but in the United States. In looking at the whole persecution of christians and we have been looking at it on the record tonight. Is there any indication either one of that you it is declining or is this growing . Quite the contrary, its obviously growing. You wonder what it will take to get the president to understand this. We now have not just a resolution, we have two u. N. General special secretary issuing a Statement Today saying 1500 christians and uzidis have been sold into sexual slavery in iraq. I wonder what the the president is going to do to tell us that this is bar barism in action . You said something the other night that was chilling. The terrible things that happened in the 30s and know about it. We do now know about this. We cant deny this. Puts us in a completely different situation. Well, it does. The more responsibility that i have is to my children and my grandchildren. And i dont want to have to turn to my children and try to pretend we didnt know. This is up on the internet. Its all over othe place. They revel in their culture of death. There has not been Something Like this in your lifetime and mine. Perhaps not in our life times. And our responsibility is to hold our government accountable, not just to a single humanitarian disaster in uzadiss and christians in iraq. A Global Attack on not just christianity. A Global Attack on jews. Think about it only place in the middle east today is israel. There they are actual opportunity killers. Thats part of the problem. Its such a per vaive threat. It doesnt look like we have a responsibility, but i think own safety sake if nothing else. If the numbers were declining, it would be easier. Humanitarian thing is really tough to look at. The beheadings in the viciousness of people. I have seen people starving, eating bugs and leaves. Its very tough. This refugee crisis in particular is not over. Maybe not on mount sin jps jar. You still have hundreds of thousands of people not in their homes. The notion that we can just turn away from it violates the responsibility we have in iraq in particular, given what we have done and what we tried to do for that country. Yet, the president doesnt seem to want to address it. Reach out to the disaffected sunni seculars in on bar province. Spent an awful lot of time broadcasting with you from there. They are still our friends. They are just afraid that we are are going to bug out on them again. Gentlemen, thank you very much. Here in the United States christians arent being attacked but rights being valted. Complaint in the navy and suddenly bibles removed from hotels. Football players told not to play. Reverend joins us. Good evening, sir. Without any doubt its a lot better than it is in nigeria and sudan and syria and iran. For the time being because if we dont bring this into check, if we dont do exactly what the colonel and what the ambassador was saying, going to find this right on our doorstep. And the time to do something about it is right now. Thats the imported terrorism from other places, but in terms, coming here in the United States would you be seeing instances recently the navy were told that they had bibles in military hotels and all of a sudden they took them out and now they are back in again pressure domestically against christians. Christians are easy targets. We are easy targets because as a religious group. I mean, you know, we understand that our belief system tells us that we will be persecuted. At the same time we have to understand that this whole era of Political Correctness has grown and grown and expanded to the point where now where now its okay to ohave religious freedom for any other religion other than christianity. We are seeing that right near in the United States. I think people forget the First Amendment includes freedom of religion, freedom to your thoughts and i guess there are some people who think when you talk about some of the sort of things happening look rather tame compared to whats happening in other countries. Nonetheless, its stomping all over their rights when you do things like that. You know, greta, going back to the bible incident those people who had the bibles removed from the naval dormitories and naval lodgings, they dont know that the first two bibles published in the United States of america were published by the congress of the United States. Let me go to this topic about this school. Apparently, there is a humanist organization that wrote to a Public School system because they were upset because the Public School athletes were praying. Well, listen, i was an athlete in high school and college. I can tell you you want your athletes praying. Because it creates a moral fiber, a basis upon which they can build and upon which these young men can grow and develop. Its not force. Thats the thing that people need to understand. This is not force. This is a choice. So these young people are being given a choice, an option about following a moral frame of reference. I guess if you tell them they cant do that then you are forcing them not to, and you are stepping on their right, their constitutional right to do it. Absolutely. Where do we get off with this. I dont understand where this came from. But i do know where its going to go. I do know christianity or okay to observe that. In those areas force. Thank you. Always a pleasure, greta. American pastor in prison in iran for one reason, he is he a christian. But it gets so much worse. Now there are isis prisoners in that same prison and they want to kill him. Now his Young Children are making a heart wrenching plea for president obamas help. Thats next. As our on the record special christians under attack continues. Huh, fifteen minutes could save you fifteen percent or more on car insurance. Everybody knows that. Well, did you know words really can hurt you . What. . Jesse dont go jesse. An emotional plea to president obama from the Young Children of an american pastor in prison in iran just for being christian. Abedino and jay sekulow for the American Center for law and justice. Good evening to both of you. What is it that you know about isis in that prison . Well, able to convey to his mom when she visited on wednesday that there is isis. The iranian dissent that had joined isis, that are in the prison now. And have threatened him because he is a christian. But is he a christian convert. So he is converted from islam and also that, you know, because he is a dual american iranian citizen. Its intense in that prison. There is additional threats and we are really concerned about his wellbeing. Jay, is it true that he is in prison for his beliefs . Is that why the iranians have him . Thats absolutely correct, greta. We have seen the documents. We have talked to the iranian prison. Is he in prison because of his faith. They will say its for National Security reasons. But under the Iranian Revolutionary guard someone of a different faith. You have got it take it as have you been reporting so well tonight, this evening, the fact of the matter is a group like isis which sole intent is destruction. So concerned about isis they have arrested isis agents with iranian dissent and put them in prison. Is he in jail for one reason and one reason only. That is because is he a christian there are no other real charges. They say National Security because of his faith. They dont even deny it and that, in fact, is has been out there and proven. Is he facing the most dangerous situation imaginable. Think about what we have seen oon your broadcast and others with isis out in towns and cities. Now imagine them in the confined area of a prison. These are not people afraid of being disciplined or afraid of going to jail. They target a man in jail because of his faith. Have you been able to talk to your husband at all in the last several months and is the United States able to help new any way . Is there anything they can do for you . Well, i havent had any they havent the iranian government hasnt allowed any contact since pretty much around his sentence in early 2013. I might his parents get to see him in prison. Thats where i get my updates. I think our government as the best place we have been at with the iranian government talking about different issues. And i think there is something. Thats why my kids made the video there pleading with president obama to take action to just bring him home. And not just mention him to the iranian government, but take action in bringing him home.
