Behind bars. We know one of the guards who missed prison frank has been fired and it appears under the Law Enforcement officers are working the case and they may be narrowing focus around local botanical garden. Our fox affiliate joins us with the latest from Chester County. I know you are having weather issues out there but you are on the ground, what can you tell us about the investigation . Good evening. It is a ten and the search continues. Escaped killer conflict. We are here right now at the command center, state Police Command center at a fire station in union pennsylvania, thats about miles away from Longwood Gardens and is a major Tourist Attraction in the area with one of the last locations where he was spotted. Here they are mapping out to catch the fugitive who has alluded police so far. The back story everyone goes by now, a 34yearold Brazilian National and he was convicted of the brutal stabbing death of his girlfriend. His trial concluded in late august when the jury returned a verdict of guilty in about 15 minutes, killed his girlfriend, stabbed her 38 times in front of her two children from fear she would rat him out about 2017 murder in brazil. He crabwalk up a wall of the prison and estate over a fence august 31. He has been waiting transfer to a state prison. Here we are ten days after his escape. 400 Law Enforcement officials are active on the ground search for him which includes 1000acre Tourist Attraction the square. The garden has been closed most of the week. Residents in the area are scared, frustrated and dangerous criminal is still out there somewhere. There is speculation Danelo Cavalcante may have a cell phone perhaps he got in the prison and perhaps hes communicating with people on the outside are telling him where the surgery center. Theres a 20000 reward for information for Danelo Cavalcantes capture and arrest. Thank you, we appreciate it. The spring and ryan, Chester County resident who spotted him inside his own home. Thank you for joining the program this guy is killed two people, one in brazil one in america and comes to your house, what does he do . Last friday i was looking at by a noise in the kitchen and i went over to my wifes side of the bed and i said i dont want to freak you out but i think there might be somebody inside. At that time my way looking down i could see our french door was slightly ajar and i grabbed the Picture Frame which was the only thing i had to defend myself which did not feel like a good tool to use in the moment and instead, i flicked the light switch three or four times and waited a second and he flicked it back at me. That was the acute moment of terror. I turned to my wife and set it him, call 911, hes in the house. At that moment i braced myself, would there be confrontation . Instead, i saw him walk out of the kitchen, not running, just methodically walking toward the french door through my living room and out. The cops were here at our house very quickly, about two minutes. We noticed he took an apple, a peach and snap peas we got from the Farmers Market on the counter so we are safe, i am alive, my wife is alive and my kids are alive, we are not victims but whats important to remember is there are two victims, those two kids saw their mother get stabbed early eight times and i think the real tragedy is there is a Gofundme Campaign and not much has been funded so i appreciate you giving the platform to let your audience know there is a gofundme for the victims of Danelo Cavalcante and hopefully your audience can support them. They deserve more. Rick quickly, did he say anything to you when you looked at him facetoface . When i flicked the light switch, i was saying to him, i know you are in the kitchen and when he flicked it back, he was say im down here, dont come down. I think for that reason nobody got hurt but thats how it went down. You are so fortunate we are glad youre with us you and your family. This is a dangerous man as you know and you lived to tell the story. Hopefully Law Enforcement were able to get information at your residence. Thank you for joining us. Thanks for having me. Former nypd Inspector Call with us, one of the former dea agents who took down pablo escobar. This guy was here illegally, a fugitive from brazil. How does he pull this off . Do you know if he has experience evading Law Enforcement . Obviously he was able to leave the country while being a fugitive but how did he get away from was this an inside job . What are folks telling you . What im hearing is two things, first of all you may have Survival Skills from brazil which may be upping him now that hes located inside the arboretum which supplies them not only with forest cover but water. Remember the rule of three, you can live three minutes without air, three days without water, three weeks without food. His concern is water. He got there by definition, they have a lot of water. If you look at this deal, look at his waist, this doesnt look spontaneous, he must have plans this. Hes got something around his waist from what i can see on his lower back. I surmise hes got a towel or something so he can get over the razor wire. He got to the roof and had to get past the razor wire, thats no joke. Every person in america has not stopped for a reason so i think he planned it. I dont think it was opportunistic, i think he saw an opening obviously but planned it and hes obviously got resources because honestly by now, i would that the dogs would have him. Im looking at the perimeter, he breaks the perimeter, or Law Enforcement officials combing the area. I have more faith in them but this tells me special agent, you talk with the state today, the investigation, what are they telling you on the ground . Thank you for having us on the show. Really nothing new. The Research Prior to this Lieutenant Colonel reiterated that. He did stress the fact that they are dead on his trail and think its a matter of hours, maybe days but i think more realistically hours because of the conditions there. He also pointed out an important part with the Pennsylvania State police, i have some friends in the area, state police are full Service Police agency, not i would patrol so they have extensive experience especially with this. Resources out there, your reporter as mentioned as many as 400 officers, state locals are out there, you got all the feds and they have brought in border patrol, their Tactical Unit especially trained for different things, not sure the bureau has their Hostage Rescue Team somewhere in the vicinity so no reason to believe this is going to go on longer than necessary. He did explain i dont want to say typical can recover from the trees but its an area that there are wealthy farms and ranches in the areas and undergrowth is not out so the heat and humidity, one of the canines was sent from heat exhaustion. She the Heat Sensing Equipment they are using when its hot out there and cause false positives especially when rocks and things heat up but what i heard or didnt hear, i didnt hear a complaint, police are out there in full gear with their vests on and carrying long guns and not a Single Person has complained about being out there so folks in the area, i know its scarier but youve got professionals other. Hes got Nothing To Lose. We are fortunate he didnt kill that family in the house because this is a guy that has Nothing To Lose thank you for joining the program, i wish i had more time. Joining us now former San Francisco president and ceo of micro works foundation, the man himself. Whats going on . You decided leave and it looks like they want nancy to day in office. Is she serving the people of San Francisco . I dont know what to tell y you, i grew up in baltimore. Another Change Ray City but another big with a similar list of problems. I came out here 20 years ago and i have a modest office, i closed it before the lockdowns and i still live in the bay area but i dont live in the city anymore and it breaks my heart because the guy you were talking to made terrific. He said a terrific town. Now they are giving god tours of skid row. People are paying money to tours are being shown that. People dont believe it. You see it, its one thing to see it on television, its another to leapfrog and stepped over humanity on your way to the store, on your way to an over. You can read about it and get it on the tv but until you walk through the middle of it and drink it in and smell, the chickens dont really come home to roost until you do that. We have the Business Owner talking about what he would do if things didnt change and spoke to that guy a couple of months ago he closed his business, his business was doing well but couldnt keep paying for the repairs and it seems like none of the leaders care. We shouldnt but theres always more to the story than you think the story right now is there is massive opportunity available to anybody who wants to learn a skill and demand. My father didnt know his dad. She knew that i always want to know more about my Family History. With ancestry i dug and dug until i found some information. I was able to find out more than just a name. And then you add it to the tree. I found ship manifests. Birth certificate. Wow. Look at your dad. I love it so much to know where my father work, where he grew up. Its like you discover a new family member. Discover even more at ancestry. Com welcome back. My family has always been important to me. I come from a long line of how texans but ive always wanted to know more. What came before texas . Groomsmen family before they would not here to the u. S. . Everything in between. Had of this years grandparents day i was able to find answers to those questions for the first time with the help from as well as results of my Ancestry Dna Test i was able to learn about generations that came before me. Three now, mika. I am excited to get the reveal. Part of why i am excited, when you have legacy that is hard to track because of slavery or they are abandoned, African Ancestry, you dont get your story and i think there is power within the story so i am wasteful for Ancestry Digging into the weeds to figure out how you got lawrence jones. What can you tell me, everything has been a surprise thus far. I thought i could convince you to give me tips. No. We had to wait for the climactic review. What you have . The name of your show is crosscountry but you are texas through and through. [laughter] ive tried to escape the bounds of texas but you are so texas so the first thing i will share with you is your dna results will have a conversation about this. I will share your highest percentages are lazy real, congo and mollie, and togo, you have trace other regions, are there any surprises for you . The england western, 5 and 6 irish. That caught me by surprise. You maybe need to change the name to cross world. I like that. Well have to go on tour for this. Ive got a bit of everything in me. You do. You do. Although the percentages you go back to africa, its pretty large compared to what we normally see. For me, im like 75 . You are higher than the. I guess in total, what percentage of african am i . Over 80. Well. Thats a lot. In relative time, its hard for people to conceptualize because we are removed and far as time so we tend to think maybe not as high or there may be other stuff but not you because you never left texas. [laughter] we do love texas. [laughter] was the second bit of information . Theres more than two, your accounting . No, no. One of the other things i wanted to show you was dna communities and these are incredible. They are more recent so you are talking the last 150 to 200 years of your Family History and they are not presented just like your ethnicity, these drilled onto geographic locations in the world and in particular for you within the United States so you will see east texas and oklahoma, African Americans identified. As well you will see waco and thats where my family is. Really . Yes. [laughter] that drills down specifically to where your specific ancestors are. How does it feel that you basically fit in the tube and we gave you this information . Its interesting because you dont think you would gather the information just from dna. Its interesting you have been able to take the technology and if you go on site, you see your relatives there and people you know and people who had no idea about. Another thing i was able to uncover because you gave me a few requests last time we talked, he wanted to know specifically clear in africa the family came from and i know you know quite a bit about your fathers side but i dug deeply into your mothers side and i was able to find the exact location in nigeria. No way. Yes. Ive got to know. On your maternal side. Where is that exactly . Along the river so one of the state that is there, you think about states like we have, thats the equivalent. In that area they have bronzes, most people know about nigerian bronzes, they have some that predate the other areas by centuries. So i could go back there and meet my relatives essentially. Correct. Thats my mother side. Everything we are talking about is about your mom. [laughter] im sure she would be proud. Absolutely so i have more to share, one of the things i want to say is in addition to the names of all eight of your greatgrandparents, we were able to uncover 14 of your greatgreatgrandparents. Twentytwo of your great greatgreatgrandparents, 20 of your four times Great Grandparents and six of your five times Great Grandparents. And these are all of their names. Thats going up to greatgreatgrandparents the. Thats incredible. So we know who they are. I guess which generation were the slaves . Anyone you see with the birthdate prior to 1865 typically was in slaved. Im glad you asked about the biggest there is definitely a story i want to share with you about the. In one of the areas your family is from in texas, there was a Huge Population of African Americans are, they were brought in after the importation ban. 1808, Congress Said no more African People but within the area of texas family is from, either part of mexico or the United States so kind of this weird leeway space and people were importing people from africa into the area so that means you have more recent African Ancestry than a lot of people do their stateside. One of those ancestors i want to show you is a woman who in 1910 was 105 years old. Are you serious . Im serious. She was born in africa. So that would have been my great how many great . Five times great. She lived to be 105 . At least. Well. Its a little hard to see but we are going to zoom in, shes in a household with her daughter, amanda and her soninlaw, was named marshall. Within the area you have a lot of people who have an african first place. Marshall at one time, his parents were listed as born in africa as well. Thats incredible. 105. Okay. Its a lot to take in. We can set it back for the second. Im ready but 105 . You have to contextualize it, shes 105, she lives to seek freedom and not only that but survived the transatlantic slave trade. Not a lot of people survived. No. In a boat stacked on top of each other where others were ill at the time as well and the abuse and all that and she lived to be 105. Incredible. Thats where you come from. [laughter] thats right. What else . Have got more for you. [laughter] you talked about wanting to know people involved in like Social Justice and social causes and one i was able to identify was another five times grandparent of yours, holton williams, a ubiquitous name in your family and was married to a woman named camelia, he is a land owner, taxpayer. His son, your four Times Great Grandfather Named Williams is who you descend from. In 1867, two years after slavery ended, he was a registered voter in the state of texas. Well. Where we find him down here towards the bottom. There is. Even when we got the right to vote, not a lot of people were bold enough to register because they had to endure to get it and he did it anyway. Im keeping all of this. [laughter] its not like im going to confiscated. Okay, a lighter story, your third great grandfather was named Emanuel Lang And One of the documents i love the most are world war ii draft cards because not only do we find out things like when they were born, he was born between 1894 and 1898 in falls county, texas. We get to see their signature and where they worked. Can you tell me what that says . Logistic hotel. He looked worked at the Majestic Hotel and out of tub. Think of hot springs and people going to get healed from different ailments. Is known for their hot springs. Right. So he worked clear they were helping people in that way. Draft cards have two sides so we get to see his height, weight and complexion, hair color and you never saw a picture. Thats so cool. Your definitely taller. [laughter] yes. 6foot five. I would put you over 6foot three so you are like a whole foot taller. Lastly, an advertisement for the Majestic Hotel so you can see what they were advertising for people to get them to come for emanuel to basically suit whatever elements they were. This is so cool. So how were you able to do this . Its magic. [laughter] so i learned a bunch of things about my family i never knew before and theres even some of it that didnt make air like for example, on my dads side, native american, im going to try to get my card and all the so i can register with the reservation. If you want to find out more Family History, visit ancestry. Com to learn more. Interesting journey. It takes a bit of time, obviously tv purposes we have multiple people working on this for months to get me as much information but it was truly great to figure out where my family comes from and where i come from so you for watching and thank you for being here with us. He will be live next saturday 9 00 p. M. Until then, find the on social media. Good night, america. Hello america im tom and yes this is fox news saturday night. Our country today always seems like it is at a stand still talk to anybody. They all seem to sate same thing it is hard to get anything done. I wonder why that is. Maybe its the example our president is setting for us hes spent most of the summer away the hours on the beach in delaware and this past week after labor da
