anyone else had been arrestedrr. at this hour at this hour, investigators have to locate the murder weapon. but bergers dna was reportedly found at the crime scene.here n >> here now with the very latest from moscow, idaho, dan da, springier is with us da. >> yeah, and this is a big day>o here in moscow. thviously, this case big apparey stumped investigators for a long time. e haand it appeared to almostto be going cold about a week ago. but then we just get word todayt that after more in a month and a half, in0 tips nineteen thousand tips and dozens of cops and from the local, state and federal levels working on this case, the they finally make an arrest in the killings of those four university of idaho students, as you mentioned. twenty eight year old >>ian kielburger is being held without bond for extradition to idaho on a murder warrant for first degree murder. >> he was in court todaywithout first-degree murder. briefly was denied bail. now a swat team from the pennsylvania state policepoe made the arrest at his parents house at three o'clock inouse a the morning. t 3:00it was in eastern pennsyl. twenty five hundred miles awaymi from moscow. leayidaho, kielburger faces four counts of first degree murder, t along with felony burglary. more information on the case is sealed until kielburger is physically back in idaho. s phys iand has been served witr arrest warrant here. but police are confidentt warrap they have their suspect. >> but i can>> w telhal you, ase have individual in custody who committed these horrible crimes and i do believe our community is safe, but webe still need to be vigilant right . it was right back in early morng hours of november 13th. kelly gonsalves, madison, morgan xana, canoodle nathan chapman were stabbed to deathhoe at a rental home near the university of idaho.r thf idaho campus. police believe they were atmpus police believe they were attacked in their sleep with ata large fixed blade knife. ms some victims had defensive wounds, but for weeks, law enforcement had no murder weapon, no sign of forced entry. on, no s forceand obviously no . it was only recently that they asked the public for help. and finally, a white hyundai thantra that was seen near the house around the time ofouse the murders. and now they have that car .ar. >> so we are still looking for all pieces of evidence, but welo are still looking for the weapon. and i will say that we have tha found an flautre. antra. kielburger is not a student atan the university of idaho, but he is enrolled as a phd student in criminology at nearby washington state.a ph.d. studen criminal at nearby stiversity. that's in pullman, about ten miles from the murder scene. law enforcement was seen o outside his apartment today, s apartmissuing a search warrant and going through that t apartment in pullman codebreakersthat. extradition hearing is scheduled for tuesday at three o'clock. that would be in eastern pennsylvania. he could wave that extraditionta and be back in idaho before that. jason .pringe >>r, dan , springier, thank you. very much.here here now with more details now t on the arrest live on the ground in pennsylvania, laura ingle is with us . laura , well, good evening. the suspect in this case calli will be calling this placenroe behind me home, the monroey co county correctional facility. faand we are located right outside. you can see that doo door that leads to the jail.t hold this is a jail that holds up to about 400 inmates. an it is a maximum security and minimum security facility. , and as dan mentioned, we're not sure, you know, if he's goingkn to be waiving that hearingif. but we'll get to that inthe hear a minute. let's take a look at his mug shot again. the twenty 28 year old wasn int taken into custody before the sun came up here by pennsylvania state police. penn staata home on the south en of scranton, pennsylvania. and heia was arrested on afugite fugitive from justice warrant. and despitjustice having an apan in the state of washington neart the crime scene, his registered address is right here innnsylvan pennsylvania. and when it comes to a possibl ebl motive, here's what investigators in idaho had >> say about that today wat thas that as part ofstigat the investigation? and that will come out as weio continue the investigation. but what we stilion l asbut k i, is for people to continually send us things in the tip line.n we are still looking forinform more information, are stilljust trying to build that picture, just like we have stated all along. all alonwe're putting all the ps together and that will help. and taking a look at those charges again, kielburger faces foure char counts of first degre murder in the november 13 stabbing deaths of those fours fours in young universits students. he is also charged with felony s fburglary, which police say is for entering the homemu with an intent to commitat murder. and you heard dan springer w mention that white elantra, we know the law enforcement recovered it possibly duringnow the arrest in that time frame was , county, which was the subject of thatt nationwide search. the car almost likely hold those critical clues if it is the same one that was seen driving near the crime scene in moscow, idaho, after the time th the quadruple murders. now, there are neighbors here.to they came to move here to feel. like it's a safe place.e here is what one neighbor had to say today. was surprised.s >> i did not expect thatt expect something like this can happenng in such a quiet neighborhood. i specifically moved from didn't expecthe quiet area, but i didn't expect to hear things like this happen to be safe forf my future family thatr i'm planning to havemy. >> it's kind of crazy. and today and today, investigators were 15 minutes away from the idaho crime scene, raiding w the suspect'se home in pullman, washington, where he was that graduate student pursuing ph.d. in criminal justice. he is being held on no bond. and we have heard that he has been assigned a public defender. and we'll learn more tomorroass back to you. w. laura , thank you very much. tonight, as idaho police await extradition from pennsylvania, they are releasing very few details about their investigation. lice a buret police are confident that the perpetrator is in custody. so how did they zero in on brian koeberg or. here now with analysis, fox news contributor and retired lapd detective mark furman and fox news contributor and retired d.c. polices co detective ted williams. ted , let's start with you. you've seen a big news of the day. give us your top line analysis lin of what's going on .hat' >> jason , i got to tell you, i'm jubilate that they have been able to locate a suspectee in this case.to i believe that with forensics as well as the public tips, as well as the latching on to that automobile and possiblynd dna found at that scene that led to the arrest of all thisan gentleman, cobargo, i havei have to believe that law enforcementu ,while they haven't givenh, the public much, they have a greahavet deal of evidence thg they are working with and from c and i think that all vehicle, that white vehicle that was confiscated, stanton, ohio, stand to be corrected.te pennsylvaniad in, that that whie vehicle has wealth of evidence e and i'm sure they are processed. and that white vehicle, as well as the other places that thisha guy stayed, wherever he stayed, was a crime scene. >> yeah, mark, it was december 7th that police put out a picture of the vehicle that was supposedly taken outside ofs a gas station, about5 in three forty five in the morning . that's obviously one of wha the clues here. but what else do you, as au former law enforcement officer, what what are the other o coents that have to come togetherme culminated in this arrest? e they >> well, before they released a photo, they're going to work, work the clue as far as they can take the lead and hopefully identify it so the suspecthe doesn't get an indication that they're onto him. i think at this point, they've got dna inside the residence, close to and then in contacte t with the victims that can show that that dna is passed or that dna is transferred fromm one victim to victim four. i think that's absolute. coordi to coordinate three states, a federal agency to state police agencies, a federal fbikc swat warrant, no knock at 3:00 t in the morning to coordinate th, all that.e dead ban they're dead. dead bang. sure. and i thing suk they'vre.e beeno him for about a week.ek i think this is something dnag h might not have beengh as straightforward as we'd like to think. i think that they probably usedt just hypothetically, if the father was in the military t and they went to dod, codis type of dna, his y chromosome will be consistent. so they could at least eliminate we have a guy with aet white launcher that goes iguazus mili, and now we have somebody that his father was int the military and it's consistent with the owne ther or this elantra. i think their attitude changed a week to go.pi the peio aaron snell said, said, we're getting a clearer picture of the suspect and whatd happened at the crimate scene. a and chief fry has done a few interviews in the last week,d three or four, and he's been very relaxed and he's been veryh confident and he keeps hammering on the white elantraen . i think they didn't wantn't want the suspect to have it. and i think that they've been they've had eyes on this guy in pennsylvania for probably three or four days beforethey s they served the warrant, getting everybodery together, everything signed, buttoned up and ready to go real quickly.y only got about 20 seconds eachu. what a for you. what aree wto make to make thae is no evidently the murder weapon itself, ted ? i'l >> well, i'll start first. well, i can tell youpon on t they evidence of the murder weapon on the bodies and somebody asked to bund y a murder weapon sometime, eveno. if it's three years ago. they either buy online, use a debit card, credit card, pay cash, go in person facility orbu buy it online. the absence of the knifewerful is almost more powerful than having the knife. >> so interesting. ted , your thoughts real quick. i wholeheartedly agree. i my what i want to see now is , is this guy going to waive extradition back to idaho. and also one of the thingshing i'm very much interested seeing is the affidavit that has been sealed off for this guy'sthere arrest. there's going to be a hopefullyb a great deal of informationto that we can use to try to findoi out what happened and who, in fact, was the target. >> maw enforcement has said, mark fuhrman, ted williams, thank you so much for joining us on hannity. thank you. all right. stay tuned, because at tuned 100 p.m. eastern, the one and onlyll nancy grace will take over w with special coverage of the idaho murders. with withans us now preview. nancy grace, thank you for being here. i want to start with the ide ae repo that one of the reports thatrt s got is that when they went in th capture him, that he said, am i the only one that was arrested? what do you make of that?s yo and give us your analysis of this whole case and where wee are today. >>re well, that would suggesttht that there is an accomplice. ths want to point out two things. this guy hasuy has got a mastern degree in criminology.'s he's currently working on a d in criminal justice, yet he drove the getaway car all the way in outside of mommy's house. are you kidding me? anothe house r thing we know about this guy, he has been described as obsessively vegan to the point that he made his parentsde get rid of their pots and pans. oh, no debate process. and the dishwasher wasn't t enough. they had to buy new pants that had nevew par touched meat. what does that tell me?. he is obsessive. he is fastidious. he's about six feet tall. he's socially awkward. he planned this whole thing out. did you notice, the charges? he didn't go in to steal.n' he didn't go in to anybody.al o he went into that home with the intent to kill. how long had he been watchingch these girls? k, as we speak, jason , they are tearing his pulman apartmentma apart for any notes ory note writings, anything that canmu match him up to this murder. and i predict they will find. inithe suspect here, the initial profile that cameofl out, this pretty close to thes poinon that is the suspect at this point. >> yes, it .is from the get go , he said a male between twenty five and thirty eight to forty , a white male, because people normally on kill within their own race single, which sh e is . is no as a matter of fact, there's no indication of a girlfriend and ex fiance say even a high school girlfriend hasn't been dug up yet. so is this guy in insull? his what was his motivation? let me remind everybody, t the state doesn't even have motirove motivation, but i can tell you take a look at this guy. would it surprise yo thiu to see him, that face staring in a your bathroom window because it would not surprise me. m and this is a death penalty. state for bodies equals the death penalty. bodies equal penalty. >> well, i have, i hope that the parents have some degree of closure and something in their heart and their family members to some agreement. sir, there's no such thing as closure. guy this guy will probably end up u with a life sentence unless a jury comes to their senses and gives him the deathpe penalty. thesnalty.e families and i know as being a victim of violentf vn crime, you get a life sentenceeo for the rest of your life. wondering what your lovede we one went through at the time of their death. it will never be over for them. therise is no closure for these families. do now, it's a good point. do you believe that there is or is not somebody out there? was the police chief was askeddirect a direct question. you didn't exactly give a totally 100% conclusive answer to that. you're so right, jason . he totally dodged forensically . it appears that there e was only one type of weapon used.th sowa what am i supposed to thin weap they handed the knife to each other? f to no, but could someone have been a lookout? did someone help plan it? possibly. possibly. bulookout in my mind, highly doubtful. >> no murder weapon at this point. what's your take on that?poin t.i think he got rid of the weapon. master i think he studied long. phd i'm getting his masters in as soon as ph.d. in criminology to get rid of the murder weapon. hello. but still, get rid murde i'm i d by the fact that he keptat h the car. maybe he couldn'e keptt explaint away to mommy and daddy and that car , as you heary, ad a few minutes ago, is goingeasue to be a treasure trove. look, it's. practically pract impossible to claim blood out. of a car.t ri yod u can't get rid of dnah with bleach. e something like you've got to use something like muriatic acid, such as black swan. he didn'an.n't dot do that. some i guarantee you they're going ta to find something some trace in stat b be at the front, the steering wheel, whe the ignition, the hatchback. there will be something in that car . was d >> yeah, iecember t was decembet that they put out that picture a . three forty five in the morning . that car's going by go, buint it obviously paid, played a hugetrg role in the evidence in trying to track this person down. down. >> it really did. we long said find the car r to race when a car similar to this was found in oregonmeles with a homeless person sleeping. in it. that was not the carth. this is the car .rstand now, we understand that match they have matcheedd him up to da at the crime scene.t be any it can't just be any dna because that was a real partyg house. and is there anything wrong with that? having a good timehaving a but n critical locations such as in both the bedroom as in bs, on al the bodies or more than one body possibly on the doo r? did he touch the doorknob ofr kb the downstairs girl's that lived that night? it's not just dna at the scene . it's dna at critical locationsio in that scene thatns t will nohh match up to him.? where do they get the match up? maybe like you heard earlier,na genealogical dna or maybe they got his dna from this four day stakeout. we w that the cops have done. did they see him throw the pizza or mcdonald's coffee cut? we don't know. but they wercde watchingonald' r a reason. e ap nancy grace, love your perspective, appreciate your passion on this. and than this k you. sure.rn. you're going to be back at 10:00 pm
