Training come abuse, obviously you can see from the crowd, the people are reacting. You know, so anyway we will get to that in a second. Also we have hard, breaking news from the department of justice. That special investigative report just breaking but first mike tobin on the ground with the latest on the situation unfolding tonight in minneapolis, mike, what is going on . Let me give you a look around, sean, it barricade that the demonstrators have erected a pier it doesnt seem to have a strategic anything. It is guards from a local dome at carts from a local target dam paraphernalia they got their hands on with my chanting george floored the name of the individual who was killed here and now, we are at the third precinct and this is the precinct from which those Police Officers were dispatched. And as we go on, looking back at the Police Headquarters and you can see some of the glass is broken out at the third precinct. You have a lot of Police Officers ready right now. What they have are the rubber bullets. You see tasers at their sides. There has been a lot of pepper spray and flash bangs deployed tonight. And usually, the way it starts is a little bit of backandforth. You will see a lot of the crowd out here at the usual chanting and then you will see someone come flying over the crowd, plastic bottles, in some cases rocks. Then the police respond. Usually in that area where the flash bang hits or whatnot, you will see the demonstrators scatter appear that area will be vacant for little while until they fill it in again. And you hear some of the demonstrators thing right now, they have guns, we have signs. So that is our situation out here. I have a bunch of angry demonstrators. Use all the four Police Officers connected to the incident were fired rather swiftly by the police. You saw the president saying here is one of the guys saying they ought to be arrested. Clearly, that is not enough for the demonstrators. A lot of anger in the streets. No justice, no peace and they want swift justice. One of the people being patient about her is the mayor of minneapolis himself, sean. Sean mike, have you spoken to the protester specifically, like the guys behind you . I want to hear what they have to say. All right, let me bring them in. You are saying no justice. What are you looking for . From what i understand if you murder someone you get arrested for it. You get arrested and you heard the mayor saying he wants a county prosecutor to move up on one of them. And are you talking about all four all four. Sean you are getting a lot from the president and the doj and the fbi in this investigation but why is that not enough . Because they havent told a truth about a thing so why should i believe they are doing it now . What about your opinion . I mean, they are just shooting tear gas at us and we are just holding signs. Not everyone is holding signs. You saw the rocks coming over the crowds. I saw them. Win . I havent even seen you here today. Ive been here the whole time. Well, im not lying. The wheels of justice are moving fast enough, correct . No, they are not moving at all. They were not moving at all. This is an isolated incident. Take off the mask, no, dont take off your mask. I dont want to tell you at a time like this. You want to be heard clearly . The statue needs to change. When the law says that, the officer has reason to believe he has liable and her life is in danger he can use force and therefore it is justified. Compared to why not giving it time instead of coming out in the streets . No, no, no, listen, the evidence is there already. The evidence is there already. They should be arrested, simple as that. Listen, the lawmakers need to change the law. K, you make a good point. This gentleman says the evidence is pretty clear. And list something extenuating that we dont know about, what we all saw on that videotape was pretty evident. Very clear. And why not just let the authorities handle the case . Are they handling it . They fire the Police Officers. It has made it all the way up to the president. We will see. What would happen to me if i did that to you . Thats not the question. Watch your mouth. Im happy to interview you, but lets keep it clean. Nobody does, nobody does. Why is anybody worried about that . If i put my hand on somebody come im going straight to jail. But these cops can shoot somebody, and they will not be held accountable. That is the simple law. If you shoot somebody, you have to be held accountable for it. But there is no such thing on the book right now. So they dont trust the system and clearly they dont think it is operating fast enough. They average joe would be locked up right now, sean. Sean all right, mike tobin thank you for being there. Stay right there and we will get back to you in a second. Are the facts george forwarded 46yearold africanamerican man died. He was pinned to the ground and look at this video by the Police Officers with a knee in an incident recorded on video. And obviously decided what is the firings and now these protest calling for the rest of Police Officers. They arrested mr. Floyd took place on monday evening. Minneapolis Police Department said in a statement that officers had responded to a call about a man suspected of forgery. President trump has ordered both the fbi and the department of justice to investigate the death of george floyd appeared the minnesota africanamerican who died in Police Custody earlier this week. His death has sparked national outrage. Let me go back and redirect this video. My understanding is the total time on this is about 8 minutes where the officer, now again, we are talking about potentially, they suspected forgery in this case. Not a Violent Crime, but if you look in particular at this video, this is what i dont like. Again, ive been training in martial arts for seven chemistry years. For example, if someones career ardor artery if you had a hard enough they will stumble and fall to the ground. There is a targeted area. There is a phrase called choking somebody out. If you put them in a choke hold, the two arteries will be choked. For that length of time, it is impossible for somebody to survive that. That is the most sensitive area of somebodys neck. Now, why it went on that long of a period of time, we dont know. We have some new video we will be getting to in a minute. By the way, at my request, the president said the fbi and the department of justice are already willing to investigation to this very sad, tragic death in minnesota death of george floyd appear the president tweeted the officers involved in the aerial rest were fired on tuesday, hours after bystander video showed an officer kneeling on the handcuffed mans neck even after he pleaded that he could not breathe and stop moving. And in a moment, new video was just released that we will get to. Matter of fact, we have it. Lets go to this new video just released. Put it up full screen. There is obviously no talking here but you can see more from a different angle. What this video is showing mr. Floyd is not in any way resisting arrest. We will follow this through. Watch it, mark it, and see exactly where its going to. Now, what is happening here is, you know my my big supporter of Law Enforcement. I am. Everybody knows that. 99. 9 of officers are good people. They protect and serve their communities. The officer has his hands on his pocket with the knee on his neck. The lack of training here is breathtaking. There is no evidence right here in this part of the tape prior to the neck incident. We will go back to that video in a second. This is not a Violent Crime we are talking about. We are talking about some suspected forgery of some kind. Now some of the other officer, if you look at him next to him was standing up and just looking around, and you know, this new video has audio. If we can get that up. And played this because this has audio on it as well. We will pull it up in a second. Lets go back to the other video. I want to take a look again. Now, this went on for eight straight minutes. Again, what is the most serious, sensitive area, you know, of a person in terms of an arrest. The martial arts standpoint, it is a targeted strike where one strike on the artery could literally bring somebody and knock them right down to their knees, one shot. If you put someone in a choke hold, it will thats what they mean by choking out. Weve heard the more drastic term. We have seen in the movies cultural walking somebody out where you take the neck and literally move it in two directions and it does break their neck. It is one of the most single, sensitive areas on the human body. For this period of time, nobody saw it. According to reports, i cant breathe, i cant breathe, i cant breathe. But it is critical at this point, we have to be asking them i dont see any movement. I dont see any resistance. I dont see why the person is cuffed. Why the knee stays on the neck. Im trying to be fair and objective and i dont rush to judgment on this program. I dont think anybody should. We believe in the presumption of innocence. I can also say looking at videotape, the videotape doesnt lie. Putting somebodys knee on somebodys neck is extraordinarily hurtful and dangerous from somebodys neck point. Now, the guy has black gloves on. So not in his pocket. And you can hear some of the video in the background there, some of the bleeping out. You know, when he touches the car, you can see him without his clothes on. So once you get somebody in handcuffs come away with this go on for any extended period of time . And so these are the facts as we know them. George floyd aaron 46yearold africanamerican man. You can see this is not an edited tape. This is one, long extended video. On monday after being handcuffed to the ground, you know, this is what we have. Lets bring in band longino with us. Dan, you left Law Enforcement like i do and you served in the secret service. Youd training in martial arts as i do. Tell us your experience in terms of the neck, how sensitive the neck is and how this can go on for this period of time . It makes no sense. No resistance that i see whats a at all. This is really hard to watch. And tweeting the past couple of days in conjunction with an other people i work with on fox as well. It is a tough video to watch. A couple of things about this measures have before they were two different types of jokes. One is banned in Law Enforcement a tracheal choke. When you cut off somebodys trach, windpipe that is almost universally banned in Law Enforcement. Almost everywhere i know. But what is happening here appears to be a blood choke which cuts off as you said before the arteries which restricts blood flow to the brain. It is very dangerous. After a long period of time, obviously restricting blood flow to the brain will result in potentially permanent damage. In this case, death. The problem i have here, sean, obviously, the full story matters but the full video tells the story that you just cant run away from. When i was in the 753 precinct as a Police Officer of the golden rule was when the cops are on the subject is controlled, the fight is over. That is it. And what i dont understand about this man believe me from a lot of my Law Enforcement brothers i communicate with feel the same way. I get it. Maybe it is a stressful job and we all understand that, but after a minute, 30 seconds, one minute when the subject is contained and you have other officers on the scene engaging in crowd control, it is clear this could be potentially a deadly situation with a blood choke lasting that long and in this case, sadly it did appear this is really, really tough to watch. Sean you know, luke let me go back and get the details of this. The total time, dan, correct me if i am wrong, 8 minutes this knee is on his neck. I think it is 6 minutes but you may be right. I dont want to challenge you. But either way sean i dont want to get that fact wrong. The bottom line is, if you get on somebodys artery, you know as well as i know, we are talking for hours and hours and hours about martial arts together in your training as a secret Service Officer miming from a one shot a quick chop to someones artery and it will drop them to the knees if you have the right spot. A choke out. You know what i have actually done arm drags into choke holds and if you get both arteries i could drop you in 15 seconds and you will be passed out through her foals . You are actually 15 seconds. If you pinch off both arteries and head and arm choked, it is not even 15 seconds and i encourage you to watch a jiujitsu competition. In this case, the only reason this guy even survived as long as he did, mr. Floyd is because his body is on the ground and only one side of his neck he wouldnt have even lasted. That is what is so disturbing about watching this. If he wouldnt have made it this long and his head was not on the concrete on the other side. I mean, that is what is so insane about watching this. Sean stay right there. Dont leave, dan bongino and we will bring in nypd bernie kerry with tough situations and also ahead of prisons. Before we get to bernie, this is a houston native. He grew up in the third ward and graduated from high school, playing football. Moved to minnesota. He worked there, driving trucks. According to a friend of his the difference between you and me might have more opportunity than he did to row a good friend of his who won a championship with the antonio spurs. But again, we are dealing with bernie, in this case, a guy suspected of forgery for crying out loud. And im looking at this. You are trained in the use of martial arts. You know how sensitive a neck area is. Why he is not resisting in this new video, which we will go to now. Why would they keep their foot on his neck for 6 minutes or more . You know what, sean, i dont think anybody has the answer. It defies logic and it defies common sense. It defies training. It defies a left policy procedures. There was no resistance. Im curious as to they took him out of the car and sat him down and all of a sudden he wound up in this position with this foot on his neck, his knee on his neck. Why, how did he get there . Why did he keep his leg on his neck as long as he did appear the guy is crying out that he cant breathe. You know, i am wondering come as you are, to give the benefit of the doubt in Law Enforcement but in this case, this is atrocious. This was abuse of use and force. It was a killing of someone that should not have died to. Sean you know, you also are trained in martial arts too. You know it is my passion so why talk about it with everybody about this. You know, one of the things that we learn about the neck and the neck area, but again, once somebody i want to go to the second video now and then we will go to the audio in the first video. The second video, the new video, you can see that he is walking with the officers. I dont see any resistance in this new video that came out, bernie. None whatsoever. There is none. Sean there is none. There is no resistance. From the time they took him out of the car, there was no resistance. Then he winds up on the ground. Dan is right. Had he had not had his head the position he was, he would have been out and nine seconds, ten seconds. But the prolong it the way they did, the way he did, the cop come i dont get it. No cop that i know can understand why he did what he did to. Sean lets go to the original tape we have been showing. As you can see come i dont see any resistance. This team just came out. Listen to the audio. I cant breathe come i cant breathe. His nose is bleeding, come on now. You are not human, bro. The least you could do is put them in the car. [bleep] that is some [bleep] and you know that. Sean bernie kerik as you watch that ansi and one tape and again, this is not trilobite videotape here. That has nothing to do with it here. That guy is not resisting on any video you see that you hear him clearly, clearly saying i cant breathe. And you have to imagine and i talked to my martial arts since a transPolice Officers for free. He said it is scary to him how most officers a lot of officers their only option is what is on their sidearm. That is it were a stun gun. They are not trained in the use of martial arts, but even a rudimentary training would say you would know how sensitive this is to ones neck. Sean, this is really not about the martial arts. This guy was in handcuffs. Sean put them in the car. He was not resisting in any way. He was suffering. I dont get it. Sean i dont get it. Bernie, you have watched and ive been on the air my 25th year. I give every cop the benefit of the doubt unless it is clear cut. I dont see any other thing here except and this is something i cant even comprehend. Lets bring back dan bongino. Dan, you heard the audio as well and we will get to that. Your reaction to that. Well, sean something may emerge. And before anyone rushes to judgment, hear me out. It may emerge and it may not. We dont have the full story. We are not trying this case by video. He may have resisted. We dont know that. But the point is, that is not the point. The point is, once hes in handcuffs, what we are seeing there, it is over. Whatever videotape emerges or doesnt that shows the precursor to this event will be interesting to telling the story and will be necessary. But it has nothing to do with this. Bernie just said the golden rule of police is when they handcuffs are on and the subject is under a degree of control, the fight is over. And i want you to pay close attention to this tape. It will roll a couple of times. When the officer if he was turned over it would be called knee on belly position. Unfortunately, he hasnt been turned over and thrown on his back. It is very critical. The left leg of the officer is on mr. Floyds neck. I want you to look at his right foot. His other foot is light, it is light. I know it is light because hes moving his right foot. Now, what does that mean . That means all his weight is on his left knee. Look, that neon belly position, if you were to put all your weight on his neck, your foot is flexible to move around. That is the first person i noticed being involved in the stuff the last 20 years of my life. He has all of his weight on this guys neck. I mean, again, im sorry. Dan bongino, what could you possibly be thinking here . Sean again, this goes back to what i keep going back to here. 152nd somebody can be choked out, literally on the ground out and collapsed out passed out and the term as we tap out when we get to the point where i actually get to the point where im feeling that. Stay right there, danny and we will get back to bernie kerik in a minute. We bring in former new jersey governor chris christie. Governor come i dont see any resistance in this video at all. Officers now involved in this case have been fired. This went on from 68 minutes according to different reports. You see the foot on the neck. You are watching the video as we are. You are in charge of a lot of Police Officers. I always want to give them the benefit of the doubt. There is nothing in this video that tells me anything was done right here. No, sean, there isnt. And i also remember the United States attorney for seven years and oversaw federal Law Enforcement as well. And everything that you see in this video shows with what was done was not only wrong but done fatally wrong. And there is no excuse for it as you said. When you look at this, im waiting to see the resistance and why they had to continue to do this while he was already cuffed. There was no resistance at all. In fact, he was begging to breathe. So this is a tragic, awful situation. And the people who are involved will be held accountable for what they did. Sean you know whom i dont believe and maybe is because my mom was a prisoner and may be because my dad was a Law Enforcement officer appear in all my family and Law Enforcement and the next generation all went into medicine. I dont know, we think alike. And i have so much respect for them. I dont believe officers go to work everyday and it is a dangerous job, we all know that, with the idea that they want to kill anybody. The idea is to save lives. No. Sean what about the other officer standing by there . Did they not say hey, you got him, put them in the car. That is the obligation of the other officers. They will have to answer for that. And all the mic absolutely not, sean. I over saw the police, fbi, atf, these are great men and women everyday who put their lives on the line to keep us safe. They are doing the exact opposite in this video. They put themselves in harms way to make sure that we are not. This is not an example of that. It is not only the person who is actually involved in the physical action that we see in choking this perpetrator, but worse. It is the people standing around not saying, hey, lay off now. Weve got it. Or reach down and grab the guy off the ground themselves to be able to put them in the car. Especially when you can hear some clearly on the video and if you can hear it clearly on the video, you know how clearly you could hear him in person. Sean and it is no excuse that i can see sean. Im like you. Having been a part of Law Enforcement. I want to give the benefit of the doubt but this is not a benefit of the doubt situation from what i see. This is a clear wrong and someone lost their life because of it. Sean lets go to mike tobin on the ground with the protests breaking, breaking news in minneapolis. Mike, an update, you have been talking to the people on the ground. There is a lot of anger. Yeah, sean, im tangled up in all the gear i have going on here. Theres a little bit of the ebb in the action at the moment. That is kind of how it goes as they go back and forth with each other. You can see some of the demonstrators out on the street here. Minnehaha avenue and this is lake street. And they are going back and forth with the police. The police will show them back some with some of the nonlethal weaponry but then slowly but surely they start creeping forward. That is what is going on right now. You see the chanting, the taunting and things of that nature. You see the police. You are in the riot gear but i guess you could say relaxed posture. You can see how the building is broken up, the windows are broken up. You can see the officers who are standing on top of the third precinct, nonlethal weaponry ready. You can describe some of the different weapons. You can see the teargas launchers and the flash bang launchers and you can see some of the foam bullet launchers used tonight. I can see this gentleman over here has a pepper spray canister app ready. And generally we see the pepper spray wind generally a cameraman, if someone gets up to aggressively, that is when the pepper spray comes out. But mostly People Holding signs, taunting the Police Officers. Slowly but surely, you will see something come over the crowd. Most of it is a lot of this garbage you seek him of cans, plastic bottles but every once in a while you will see a rock come over the crowd. Obviously, the Police Officer and then you see the response, the flash bangs come out. You see the pepper spray come out. And this just goes back and forth throughout the night. You heard some of those demonstrators that we talked with earlier. No one is really disputing what was seen on the videotape. No one, including the mayor who moved rather swiftly along with the police chief. I should really say the police chief to fire four officers connected to the incident call for criminal prosecution and an investigation. But once you get from the demonstrators come it is not fast enough and they dont trust the people in the system, sean. Sean mike, stay on the ground and when we come back, we will talk to some of the people in the crowd with you in just a moment. But first the only Investigative Reporter Lawrence Jones is with us. Lawrence, you are seeing what we are seeing. It breaks my heart. The only thing i would say to the protesters is the officers have been fired. We have a justice system. The president has ordered two investigations. You know, i dont think cops go to work everyday wanting to kill people. As bad as everything we see on video here is, we dont need confrontations with the police. The police dont want the confrontations. As hard as it is sometimes, you know, we have got to for the sake of the Community Think of everybody. And everybodys safety. Beco yes, sean. It is tough to watch. Someone that majored in criminal justice and group entire life wanting to be a cop and change the dynamic and the community. But i have someone that knows what it feels like to be in the position and those dad has a gun brought to his head and have to go out to the Police Department. That is not all cops. I believe the majority of cops go every single day, trying to keep the community safe. But there is that small portion that abuse their power. And i think when you look at conservatives and republicans today, they have seen that abuse of power, during this pandemic. There are people that abuse their power. And that is what we have witnessed in the incident and whether it is people like me are the first black republican senator tim scott that experienced it even on the capital, these stories are real. They deserve due process and tried in the court of law. And should not be anarchy. Should be swift justice as well. And i understand the pain, but i would encourage people if you are going to protest, do it peacefully and dont cause more issues. Your mom and dad are at home and they want you to come home alive. You have a whole life ahead of you. Let the system do its job. Now, if the system does not do its job, then we need to have a conversation. But at least allow the investigation to take place. Sean you know, nothing that we see here, lawrence, seems justifiable, nothing. And it will not be trial by tv cameras. We have to believe in the system of justice. And i want to remind everyone to make everybody the president has ordered both the fbi and the department of justice to investigate the death of mr. Floyd. He is the person who died in custody. We didnt see any of the evidence of resisting arrest. Lawrence, stay right there. Lets go back to mike tobin. Hes on the ground, and hes been talking with the protesters. Mike, what are they putting on . What are they saying . What i have seen from the demonstrators again and again is a mistrust with the system and believe that it is not moving fast enough. They think if it doesnt move quickly on a justice is not going to move at all. And frankly, sean, what i am seeing here is a lot of palpable anger. And i have been at these demonstration where the whole thing seems like its a street party or you know, big ruckus demonstration with the kids to get out and have fun. This is different. People are angry. I think everybody who has seen that video cant come up with a reason to justify what they have seen in the video here they are out here demonstrating here the police are responding with nonlethal weaponry and in fact, let me show you an example of some of that nonlethal weaponry here. So if you turn around, this is a kind of rubber bullets. The people in the crowd say are coming from the police. There was a gentleman out here and i want to track him down again. Come on up here. Lets see. Im holding a sign. For the murder of somebody. And im getting shot at. He says that is the wound from a rubber bullet just like this one, sean. That is some of the nonlethal weaponry. This is for the death of a man. He is holding a sign and that is what the Police Responded his position to it. Let me ask you one thing, why are you out here . Because its not moving fast enough. If this is happening across the entire nation. There you go. Kind of summing up what we heard before. The belief its not moving fast enough and its not ultimately not going to arrive at justice, sean. Sean we will go back to mike tobin in just a minute. We bring in congressman who has been booked on another program tonight. We have seen all this video congressman. Your thoughts. I was criminal justice chairman ben trave on martin was shot. So familiar in florida with dynamic and people in protest certainly the calls from Lawrence Jones and the protest peaceful and important but what people are upset is about the local speed at the local level and why so important President Trump has been responsive. President trump understands the need for fairness in this case and trust us. It is why he enfold the department of justice to ensure if Civil Liberties were deprived in in this case there seems to be strong, initial evidence that was the case, that we elevate this to a National Concern and hopefully that will give us comfort. Like you said to come of the folks in Law Enforcement are in fact here to protect us but just like good and bad tv host and gd bad congressman, we have folks in Law Enforcement that sometimes fall short of the High Standard that the rest of that profession sets. When people fail to standard, we need justice and that is what precisely the president is focused on. Sean when think my matt we have followed so closely 1 that abuse power and the fbi that dont represent their premier Law Enforcement agency and the entire world and thats why i have been saying director chris wray clean up agency. Occasionally when im trying to i cant comprehend and this is the most rudimentary training. I will go back to bernie kerik on this. Bernie 101, the neck is the most sensitive area. When somebody is not resisting. When you have handcuffs on. When they are screaming they cant breathe, how do you not listen to that . You are not even supposed to not listen to it, sean. It should be over. Dan said it best when the handcuffs go on, there is no resisting. It is over. It is over. Pick the guy up, put him in the car, and get them out of there. It is over. The guys around him i want to know what they were doing. Why didnt the other guys step man . You can hear this guy 15 feet away. Those cops were standing right on top of him. And they could hear him. They had to know what was going on. They had to see it. They didnt take any action at all. It is atrocious. Sean and there is no other way to put that in any way, shape, matter or form. And you have dedicated your life as has dan longino. Dan you see the people in the reaction. You know the mindset of officers that are there. This is the last job i would imagine that they would want to at this hour. The last thing that any city needs. , especially now that the officers have been prior to. Now that the president has called for the investigations. We have the fbi civil rights investigation ongoing. We also have the Justice Department investigation. So the full force of the u. S. Government investigation possibilities are now in place here. From the federal perspective, there is not much more the president can do other than to call attention to it and demand an investigation, which is what exactly what he did. But just watching, it is interesting. I saw the split screen up there. While i think we can all agree and everyone has so far that this could not have been handled more poorly this was an obvious travesty what happened to mr. Floyd and an investigation, full throated full blown investigation must happen immediately to reestablish trust, what is happening with this writing is disgraceful as well. I dont understand how in any way this helps to solve the problem. These are two separate these Business Owners did nothing wrong either. But on one critical thing about this mr. Floyd in the arrest of mr. Ford as well. You have to understand when you spend most of your life on the ground doing Ground Fighting and that kind of thing wrestling in that kind of stuff, the ground is a serious force multiplier for obvious reasons. It restricts movement. When youre standing up on your two feet you can move around and get away. When youre stuck on the ground and ironically in this position, tragically in this case, throne on your face with your hands behind you, you dont even have the ability to take your hands, put them on the ground, and to be able to breathe and decompress your chest. Combine that with the fact that you cant breathe because you are prone in your hands or a bracing you. With the officer again, as i told you before if you look at the video, his light stomach left foot is light and left pinpoint pressure on a small area of the neck. The compression force we are talking about are incredible, even for him seems to be average wait like this officer. And if you ever felt that come with the compression forces on your neck or you have done any kind of football, martial arts or whatever it may be, that is one of the most frightening panicking inducing experiences you will ever experience in your life. That is why this man on the ground is screaming i cant breathe. That is a natural panic reaction from a human being who knows he is about to die. That is why he is saying that. Anyone would say that. Sean that is why when you and i, you know mess around and we are just friends. That is why if i put you in a choke hold and i have a solid old, you will do what we call tap out because you will not be standing ten seconds if i keep it up. He can even do that because his hands are behind his back. Sean thats why hes breathing. We have to take a break. We will continue breaking news coverage. Stay with us on Fox News Channel as we continue sean all right we continue coverage george floyd 846yearold man now has died. We have been showing the video tape all night. There are protesters of four officers in the case fired. I want to read the full tweet of President Trump and this came from i believe tuesday of this week. At my request the fbi and department of justice are already well into an investigation as to the very sad and tragic death in minnesota george floyd. I have asked for this investigation to be expedited and greatly appreciate all the work done by local Law Enforcement. My heart goes out to georges family and friends an an end justice will be served. That from the president of the United States. Speaking of the department of justice, kerri kupec joins us and we had her book for another issue. Can you tell us the status of this particular investigation and what the role of the fbi Civil Rights Department will be involved in and the department of justice . Certainly our hearts go out to the victims family here are the fbi is investigating and the attorney general and the head of the Civil Rights Division monitoring the situation closely. So we are waiting for the results of the fbis investigation, which they will present to our u. S. Attorney they are in minneapolis, and then we will take it from there. But certainly traveling and upset video to watch. Sean i want to ask you as long as i have you on because the attorney general has now appointed u. S. Attorney john bash. There is a new probe, i understand it . What is going on . Yes, so john durham is part of his investigation have been looking at the issue of unmasking. The attorney general determined that certain aspects of unmasking needed to be reviewed separately as a support to john durhams investigation. So he has john basch one of the u. S. Attorneys out of texas to do just that. Sean, obviously we know unmasking and here at tinley isnt wrong but certainly the frequency, the motivation and the reasoning behind unmasking can be problematic. When you are looking at unmasking as part of a broader investigation like john durhams investigation, looking specifically who was unmasking whom can add a lot to the understanding about motivation and big picture events. Sean i have been told by my sources, kerri, four years there have been unmasking an increase of three fold in the second term of the obama administration. I have been told that even members of Donald Trumps family have been unmasked, may be members of the media have been unmasked. There is a lot more that has taken place as will the doj look further into that issue . Why would there be a threefold increase in unmasking in the second term of the former president . That is why the attorney general said it was appropriate to look at unmasking to support of john durhams investigation and looking specifically at episodes both before and after the election. Like i said, the frequency, who was unmasking whom, all of the circumstances and events can shed light and give us a better understanding of what happened with respect to President Trump and the campaign and of course, what happened after he was elected as well. Sean let me go back on general plan. The d. C. Circuit bite of the department of justice to weigh and following judge sullivans actions which are beyond unprecedented. And sidney powell, filing the writ of mandamus but now with the doj right in . So the department of justice to weigh in and we will do so. We will reiterate their arguments and or brief and we believe this case should be dropped. Certainly the prosecutors in the case, as the department of justice, we have the prosecutorial discretion to make that decision. Sean, jeff jensen the u. S. Attorney who the ag appointed to review the plan case, 10year as a prosecutor in ten years in the fbi, when he completed his review and the plan case he told the attorney general that based on what we now know, he does not believe that any one of our 93 u. S. Attorneys in the country would have continued to prosecute this case. Sean all right, kerri with the department of justice, that is huge news and we will have another report tomorrow night. We dont have much breaking news. Mike tobin is on the ground. He is with the protesters. What is the latest on the ground, mike. Well the backandforth is going on with the demonstrators and the police out there and the fireworks on the crowd now. So it is getting a little dangerous at night full. Let me bring in the demonstrators. You want to talk about your opinions of george floyd and what happened. Share your thoughts. Basically, man at the hand of the date these people are supposed to be protecting and serving us. Yeah, that was wrong, but at the end of the day did his life deserve to be taking . You know what im saying . Who is supposed to protect us against those who are supposed to protect us . Why did you show up . These are real weapons and why did you show up armed . Are you flirting with disaster . At the end of the day, all of our lives matter and black lives definitely matter at this point in time and day and age. When i came together when i came together first of all, that is none of your concern. And the Second Amendment, that is everything. So we dont want to get to that. Im military, you know what im saying . So with that being said sean, there are fireworks going off. That is not a police around what you saw happen but that is a roadside fireworks you can buy. That is blowing up in the middle of the crowd and is a risk of burning someone. Im sorry, continue. Basically the military need to come out here and protect against those who are supposed to protect us from a man. That is the statement. At the end of the day you are angry about what happened. Angry . Angry . What is angry, i am hurt by this. A man died. What does anger have to do with somebodys life, man . Protect and serve, that is what we are here for. Did you trust the system . I have never, never trust of the system. Never. Too many lies to make lives have been taken. Sean hannity wants to ask you a question. Sean this man is very passionate, very smart, very articulate. Did he read or hear the president s whole statement that at my request, the fbi and department of justice are going to have an investigation into the sad death of george floyd and i have asked for this to be expedited. I greatly appreciate the work by local Law Enforcement. My heart goes out to George Floyds family and justice will be served. Essentially what sean is asking youre from new york did you see the president s tweet and essentially the tweet said that the president the head of the fbi and doj on the case with expedited investigation. What is your reaction to that . That is only for one case, man. You know how many cases there are in the United States of Police Brutality . They take their badge and has a license to kill. That is not what this is. You are supposed to protect and serve. I understand if the man was being a threat to anybody around him and he ended up dying. Do you think this is a systemic problem or there are a few bad cops that make them all look bad . At the end of the day, i feel the police are not doing their job as a whole, period. If they were doing their job, that man would be alive. There were four officers right there in the presence of one that literally killed the man on the ground. Sean will you please send a message to me . Send this guy a message. Tell this guy im a big supporter of the Second Amendment. When you carry a weapon, please be careful because innocent people are all over town here. And the investigation is now being called for dunn and expedited fashion by the president of the United States. And thank him for his service and please ask him to please be safe. A weapon is very dangerous. Speak with a message from the show host in new york is just b. The Second Amendment and respects your service but do your best to be safe out here. I appreciate it, man. He appreciates you, sean but there is a lot of angry people out here, sean. Sean very articulate but i understand the passion. More breaking news from minneapolis as we continue. We cant offer much during this time of crisis, but we can offer what we have. So from all of us working early mornings on the farm, long days in the plant, or late nights stocking shelves doing all we can to get you the milk you need. We hope it makes your breakfast a little brighter. Your snacks more nutritious. And reminds you when it comes to caring, there is no expiration date. Milk. Love whats real. Sean all right we are following the story out of minneapolis fulfill the breaking news tonight. Demonstrators protesting the death of george floyd who died in Police Custody. Four officers fired on tuesday and on wednesday, the mayor calling for them to be criminally charged. The mayor saying no mention of the other three officers also at the scene. As you can see from the protesting and you can see from the video, that knee stayed on mr. Floyds neck for six plus minutes. The president immediately tweeting out a request for the fbi and department of justice already well into an investigation to the sad and tragic death of minnesota george floyd. I have asked for this investigation to be expedited and greatly appreciate all the work done by local Law Enforcement. My heart goes out to georges family and friends. Justice will be served. Governor chris christie, former governor christie of new jersey is with us. Governor, you know, i understand mike tobin just interviewed a guy extremely articulate and passionate about how he feels. A guy that has served his country. And i see the crowds there. I saw this guy was armed. And i think about all the people in the city, and i think about what is happening. Can you explain the process of what the president is expediting a an investigation means in the hopes that good people wont get hurt and in these protests were any innocent people hurt. Absolutely, sean. What the president will now have done is director chris wray will put a flight of fbi agents both from the field office in minneapolis and from the headquarters in washington, d. C. To interview anyone who was in the crowd, anyone in the area attempting the officers involved themselves may or may not permit themselves to be interviewed if already retained a lawyers which i suspect they have. Look at all the forensic evidence, and then immediately go to the u. S. Attorney in minnesota who has already assigned a competent assistant u. S. Attorneys to work with the fbi on this case and to get it in front of a grand jury as quickly as possible. And that is what they will be doing right now. The only way to make that happen quickly is to throw a lot of resources at it. Im confident that attorney general barr instructed the u. S. Attorney to do that when it comes to prosecutors. To director chris wray when it applies to agents. Sean you know this is important to note too. You have worked in different forms of being in charge of Law Enforcement and i think it is important for people to understand. I locked there talked about the 1 of people that abuse their power and or corrupt and we seee damage of 1 . That has not been my experience in Law Enforcement. It is the opposite. The 99 that do their job and protect and serve here and i know at moments like this, people forget that part, but lets too also, where is the training of these guys . How do you not know the neck is that sensitive . Sean, where is the officers that are standing near this guy who are willing to stand up and stop him . You know, that is the problem too. You know, this guy is doing what he does is awfully lax, but it is just as awful to hear him say he cannot breathe while handcuffed on the ground and not intervene and stop your fellow officers from doing it. Your obligation to the law applies not just to the citizens that you are protecting every day, it applies to making sure that law is enforced against your colleagues and the Police Department. Sean all right, governor my thank you for being with us. We appreciate it. Our thoughts and prayers are with mr. Floyd and we are glad the president called for an expedited work to be done by Law Enforcement and the Fbi Department of justice Civil Rights Division, the president sends his condolences to George Family and friends. Let not your heart be troubled, laura ingraham, amine six plus minutes put on the neck. I do not i cannot comprehend this. There was no resistance that i saw. Laura it is another bad night and a beautiful city in america when there is losses of lives. A lot of questions. And there will be a thorough investigation not only done and i certainly hope so, the minneapolisst. Paul Police Authorities come about by the federal government and civil rights investigation. That is the way it should be done. We dont want mob justice. It should be justice that is known by the books and thorough and fair. And it certainly looks bad. And i think you have brought a lot of that to life
