Obama put in charge,hhs secretary Kathleen Sebelius obviously way in over her head, yet, she has not been replaced even as the situation deteriorates. A new survey by u stamp says that 20 of americans trying to log on to the Health Exchanges can do so without difficulty. A number of Health InsuranceCompanies Say their profits will decline as the confusion grows. And Many Americans who really need good healthcare are being denied because of the increasing cost to the premiums and doctors who want no part of the program. The whole thing is unacceptable because, remember, the Obama Administration is spending billions of dollars just to put the program together. And the computers they are relying on simply are not working properly. The administration has had more than 3 years to get up and running. Yet today we have chaos. And, again, no accountability. Even ardent supporters of obama care see whats happening. This really is a disastrous launch for a program that i supported. I think its a huge advance. Me too. In healthcare. But, come on. Its a web site. And, you know, i cant imagine that, okay, its broken. It doesnt work right. Why is it taking so long to fix . Why . Again, this is not an ideological play on the part of talking points. From the jump i was willing to give obama care a chance. Even though i believe a fair Healthcare System could have been accomplished by reforming the private sector. But now its apparent that not only is the software not working, but the promises, the promises about the cost and accessibility of abomb that care are now coming true. Here is the bigger picture. When we elect a president we expect efficiency we also expect clarity. When something goes wrong tell us, everybody makes mistakes. When there is no accountability and no explanation, thats scandalous. Another example as you may know the Obama Administration has never explained why security was so poor in libya and why the American Ambassador there and three others were murdered by terrorists despite warnings. Now we learn that there was a white house meeting the day before the murders on september 10th, 2012 . The meeting was about protecting americans. But we dont know much about it. The president attended as did his top security guy john brennan. There was a press release after the meeting that said the u. S. Was taking steps to protect our people and interests overseas. The very next day the benghazi attack happened. Fox news correspondent james rosen wanted to know more about the meeting. So we asked jay carney. I wonder if you could tell us more about what those meetings entailed, hot participants were. How closely vetted or thoroughly vetted that press release was and whether the white house might be willing to make congressional investigators or to the public the email, memos and other sort of paperwork that is assoated with the development of that press release. It is clear because four americans died on that day, that there was not adequate security. And that was revealed in the accountability review board. And i would simply say when it comes to and i know that were creating an exchange here for fox and im mindful of that. What were engaged in here is not for fox. Its for the record. If the government is going to hurt you, you need to know about it. But we dont know everything thats going on. We know very little because accountability is in short supply. Now, you remember the president said healthcare costs for most americans would drop. That does not seem to be the case. How come . The administration had three years to roll this out. Why the screw up . In a responsible country the leadership would say yeah, we made mistakes. So well delay the mandatory portions of obama care until we smooth things out. That would be fair. I think everybody would accept that yet, once again, the Obama Administration will not even acknowledge there with s. A problem or hold anyone responsible. Much less try to mitigate the damage. Add to that the fog around benghazi and a number of other explained unexplained foulups like fast and furious and a vivid picture begins to emerge. And we dont have it. You believe because the National Media in general supported Barack Obamas election and reelection. Correct. And reelection, they have emotion invested in him and they are just not going to because, remember the you were around for nixon, right . Absolutely. Im not going to do it. Thank you for that. And, of course, it reinforces and validates what we already know. Right. Abc, cbs, nbc are all in the tank for this president. But what is interesting to me and it is, that the idea the very idea of creating some form of accountability as we were discussing about the role of the media here, its impossible against that back drop. Accountability is simply an abstraction for this administration. Well, they know they can get away with just ignoring the story. Here is some more information here. On the big three network, nightly news, they interviewed 23 federal workers over the period of time and they ran out and got 23. All right. Out of those 23. 17 of them blame the republicans. All right . Three blamed the democrats. 17 to 13. Right. This is no dent because i am a former correspondent. Hard news correspondent for both cbs and abc. And when you are sent out to do an assignment, the assignment editor says we want you to interview these people. And you have some freedom when you go out there. But when you put your piece together, you are supposed to try to get some balance on the piece or, if you cant. Then you explain why, all right. We couldnt find anybody in the federal agency, so on they didnt do that they just stack it and all three of them do it. I would have loved to have seen those assignment editor meetings with you when you were being dispatched. Believe me, i didnt do a lot of politics. Mostly breaking news, they didnt like me because they said we want you to do this and of course i never did it and i came back with a fair story. Look at that room where james rosen was sitting. They home schooled her. Because once you get on that internet, it doesnt matter what school you go to, everybody can access everybody sees. So it never goes away. Well, the parents deny out not every parent. But most parents would deny that their children are the devil. That the state or someone else. Not in the face of evidence i didnt believe that. Come on. You have the denial extends to the point where you say the account was hacked. They use the Anthony Weiner defense. Yeah. It wasnt my child who was doing it. It was someone elses who got in. You know, the point of parental responsibility is a very good one. There are very different laws in different states as to whether or not the parents should be looking over the childs shoulder as the child is now engaged in this vivid and in many ways obscene life on the internet. In california, it is a crime to be negligent about what your child is doing on the internet. To not pay attention. To fail to supervise the 12yearold. In florida, let me just say this. Most parents try, i believe, most American Parents are trying to raise their children the right way. With all the portable machines now you cant look over othe shoulder its impossible. Because they have the little machines and they can do what they want on the machines when they are not in your charge. There is no way on earth that any american parent can supervise unless you ban the machines and their friends will have them, okay . You cant. But, if you are warned, as these parents were, if you are warned that your children your child is a cyber bully, your child is hurting another child and then you dont do anything about it, which is the case here in florida, then you should be charged as, geraldo, and geraldo is a lawyer. As an accessory to it. I agree that it is offensive in a moral context. Now are accessory. New law. Still on the books accessory to the crime. You know about the crime. The failure to act is not acting. Acting, you have to be an actor to be an accessory. If you are negligent. I would love your argument, counselor. Its already on the books. In the criminal law. If you allow a crime to be committed, you you know its being committed, and you can stop it and you dont, it you can be charged, ignoring what your child is doing, that, in terms of the internet, is not criminal. I can make this case all day long. Isnt it better to advocate . Lets advocate communally make it a crime negligent are what your child is doing. It has to be defined though. My three youngest children are all girls. Im shy about looking at their facebook. I feel awkward about probing and snooping into their lives.
