You, do indeed, nothing he almost won in 2016, he almost beat hillary clinton, he has the ability to create quite a movement, in iowa i would say you see bernie rising in the polls all over the place and in iowa slightly less clear, hes certainly rising but of the last 4 polls, two had biden in the lead and 2 sanders in the lead by substantial margin, going into monday, caucuses, does seem like its up in the air and anything can happen. Jon Amy Klobuchar is in fifth place, she will keep on chugging no matter what happens in iowa, listen. I think we have to do well here, theres been a lot going on having been gone the last few weeks, i didnt expect to have happened, but im going to New Hampshire no matter what. But its said, isnt it, there are only 3 tickets out of iowa and right now shes in fifth place, how many of the contenders can expect to move on after iowa . Well, i think if she outperforms, she can go to New Hampshire, one one of those thi, candidates will stay in the race no matter what and their funding runs up and they are out of the race, i expect her if she does pretty well in iowa to at least go to New Hampshire but at a certain point if you dont start seeing a path to victory, you know, those donors dry up and you just have to get out of the race, we saw that in 2016 with jeb bush at a certain point and south carolina, there are factors here that are beyond their control. She hails from the neighboring state of minnesota, Pete Buttigieg hails from neighboring indiana, they have sort of that builtin advantage being neighbors of this first to vote state but do they have the Campaign Organizations that can carry them onioned beyond iowa . Bernie sanders is leading from vermont, not very close to iowa, theres certainly perhaps the mid Western Charm has wooed some people in iowa but not enough yet and certainly in the case of klobuchar to be anywhere winning iowa, mayor pete, its a different question at least in one poll in striking distance, who knows, he could surprise on monday. Jon when you take a look at the delegate count at stake here, 41 in iowa compared with 228 available in texas, 415 in california, perhaps no surprise that Michael Bloomberg has decided hes not going to spend really any time in iowa, hes focusing on some of the bigger states. Well, the one thought that every political pundit points out is that thats kind of what Rudy Giuliani tried to do all the way back in 2008, he was the florida strategy, skip four states and tried to win florida, didnt come close there, i think mayor bloomberg might have some opportunities if you see Bernie Sanders sweep iowa, sweep New Hampshire, maybe even nevada and south carolina, all these other candidates will see their money dry up and then bernie goes on to the other states, one whose money will never dry up that would be Mike Bloomberg or Something Like oneonone with Bernie Sanders, its quite a risk to skip a bunch of states in the beginning. Interesting to hear the president even sort of rooting on Bernie Sanders because he feels like he is, i guess very beatable, right . Well, i would say that i think bernie might have gotten under his skin a little bit, bloomberg, when he was asked, you know, does the country want 2 billionaires running for president in the general election and mayor bloomberg goes who is the other billionaire joking that compared to donald trump who himself as a billionaire much, much wealthier, that might he thinks get under Donald Trumps skin and, you know, perhaps it has.
