I will convince these nfl owners and especially roger goodell, they dont know thee territory. They look in the stands and do they see people that came to the game because they wanted someone to preach politics . They are living vicariously through his players and they want to be entertained for a few hours of mayor shelling out some really nice money to be there. What they dont want is someone to disrupt what is a Great American experience by disrespecting the flag and trying to bring something into it that has nothing to do with football. I think it is one of those moments that a lot of teams are having to wake up and say, maybe this wasnt a good way to get this message out, whatever this message was. You could actually see both sides coming together and conservatives agreeing that something needs to be done. This is a great area where i can be done. I signed on to be a part of the group, to bring ideas for criminal Justice Reform because i saw it c in my own home state as governor. H a kid whos black, who is a terrible attorney, he has a small amounts of marijuana, he goes under seven years. An uppermiddleclass white kid, his dad gives him a good attorney, he gets off, may be probation, gets his record expunged, he goes on to college and becomes a lawyer, may be a member of congress. Dana, thats not right. Everybody knows its not right. Yeah, we need to fix these things and we cannot incarcerate ourselves out of the crime problem that we face in the cities. Dana i think President Trump and the Republican Congress could work with many members on the other side of the aisle to get it done and get it done quickly. I think if people saw movement on that, they would be less likely to want to take over and use football, for example, as a place for social justice issuesa couldnt agree more. By exacerbating the divisions, by talking about these things,se we have a new fox news poll this week, talking about how do you feel about people who dont stand for the national anthem, who dont venerate the flag, and believe it or not, it is getting more accepted than before.
