Police say they were trying to stop the man because he wasnt wearing a helmet, now the mans family is going to police for his death. Protesters outside a Police Statement demanding answers, we will take you to the streets. Renewed tensions on the streets of americas major cities happening as the nation braces for the unexpected next tuesday. The National Guard and Police Department already preparing, and stores are boarding up yet again. Tonight, early voting topping 70 million. New indicators tonight of a possible surprise showing by President Trump as he crisscrosses several battleground states. Democratic nominee joe Biden Campaigning in georgia, looking to cut into red state strongholds, and former president obama taking shots at his successor on the campaign trail. Hello and welcome to fox news night. Im Shannon Bream in washington. Weve got Team Coverage on this night, one week out from the big general election. Alex hogan tracking the preparations for possible Election Night violence coasttocoast. White house correspondent kevin corke following the early vote in ohio. Rich edson looking at the hunter biden controversy as it pertains to the campaign. Senior correspondent Rick Leventhal following the pandemic effect on voting, and surprising findings on that front. Jacqui heinrich reporting on the progressive pressure growing on biden, but we begin tonight with jeff paul in omaha, where the president topped his third major rally of the day. Good evening, jeff. Good evening, shannon. Thousands and thousands of people braced for the very cold weather out here, near freezing temperatures for hours, just to get a glimpse of president donald trump, his third and final stop of the night tonight. Of course, this city and this state in omaha, nebraska, has seen some surges in coronavirus cases, so it was held outdoors and people were told to mayor masks, but once President Trump landed and started to talk to the crowd, ie out here forgot just how cold they were. A lot of energy from the crowd, as President Trump delivered a familiar speech where he praised himself and criticized his opponent, joe biden, for things like his tax plan and stance on crime, but trump also had a very simple message for those in attendance here in omaha, nebraska, a sort of call to action. Im standing here, freezing i ask you one little favor get the hell out and vote. Great red wave. At least you are down there with each other. Im all up here, and that wind is blowing. And that message, especially important in nebraska, specifically omaha, which is the state 2nd congressional district. A democrat hasnt won the state all outright since 1964, have walked wit with one electoral ce vote in previous elections. That is because nebraska is 1 oe other one, that gives technical its Electoral College votes to the overall winner, and many a vote for whoever wins each congressional district. Polls show biden in the lead here in nebraskas Second District, and if the race is close, could come down to one vote, so both candidates are focusing both on nebraska and maine, trump has a slight ee in maines 2nd congressional district, according to the latest bolts. Biden wasnt here in nebraska, but he did release a statement saying i wont give up on nebraska, ill finally get this virus under control and protect your health care. Ill be a president who fights for all nebraskans, not just those who vote for me. Donald trump come after wrapping up about an hour and a half speech here in a very cold and brisk omaha, nebraska, set off to a much warmer las vegas, nevada, when he will overnight, then head went even warmer in arizona for a few Campaign Stops there. Shannon . Shannon yeah, hitting all of the key states in these final dates. Jeff paul, thank you. Many in the left wing of the Democratic Party have largely been staying on message in the runup to next weeks election, dont publicly criticize biden, this is all about beating trump. Well, correspondent Jacqui Heinrich is taking a look tonight at the progressive playbook and their growing list of demands for biden should he win. Good evening, jacqui. Good evening, shannon. About 870 people attended joe bidens drivein rally in atlanta tonight, per the campaign. That, by the way, is more than the dnc, and is significant given the state has not voted for a democratic president since 1992. It has long been considered out of reach to democrats, but the Biden Campaign thinks the state, georgia, is competitive and could become part of the path to 270. Local activists laid the groundwork after a series of narrow losses in 2017 and 2018, including stacey abrams, who lost to the governors race by about 55,000 votes. Georgia is already seeing record early turnout, and with the highest percentage of black voters in any battleground state, the final push includes an ad blitz and also visits from both members of a ticket and their spouses. Also stumped for down ballot democrat candidates. There arent a lot of pundits who would have guessed four years ago that a democratic candidate for president in 2020 would be campaigning in georgia on the final week of the election. [applause] but we do because something is happening here in georgia and across america. In atlanta, biden touched on his usual points, but earlier in the day, he appealed to the other side of the aisle with a message of unity and healing from warm springs, where president Franklin Delano roosevelt recovered from the poliovirus and develop programs to pull the country out of the great depression. Biden drew parallels between that eras crises and what the country is facing today, and biden wants to be transformed of as president like roosevelt, and leaders including Bernie Sanders have said that biden stands to become the most progressive president with fdr, with their health exerts from the episode on axios, congresswoman ilhan omar said she and other members of the squad expect to have a seat at the table. We will have a cohort of progressives that are very clear about their objectives for wanting the implementation of medicare for all in the green new deal, raising the minimum wage, and not allowing for fracking. Omar also said she wouldnt be happy if biden appointed any republicans to his cabinet, and these reportedly considering this happens and progressive donors and activists are reportedly lobbying for the cabinet positions to go for pro, including Elizabeth Warren at the treasury, reportedly. Shannon . Shannon okay, Jacqui Heinrich on the road tonight. Thank you. Former president obama campaigning with for his former number two in florida today, surprisingly taking shots on how the Trump Administration handled the pandemic. As Senior CorrespondentRick Leventhal shows, the president is firing back. Hey, rick. Good evening, shannon. 2020 will likely forever be known as the year of the coronavirus, so theres a surprise it is plain usual in the president ial race, and the two campaigns taking very different approaches. Former president barack obama trying to swing votes to joe biden in florida, holding a drivein rally in orlando, criticizing President Trump handling of covid19. What is his Closing Argument . That people are too focused on covid. He said this at one of his rallies. Covid, covid, covid, he is complaining. He is jealous of covids media coverage. More than 225,000 dead americans because of covid19. 7,800 right here in georgia. Democrats often cite the death toll but rarely discuss how Nursing Homes contributed to the totals and how state governments could have helped mitigate the awful impact. Less than 1 of america lives in longterm care facilities, but this tiny fraction accounts for 41 of covid19 debts, according to kfs, the former Kaiser Family foundation, a nonpartisan source of health information. An kfs sound some states dont count nursing home debts and other states under reporting them, including new york, which didnt include residents moved to hospitals and never recovered. Meanwhile, the Trump Administration reassuring americans a vaccine will be available soon and there will be no ratchetin rationing of protep Mental Health care. I would like to just put in end to those kind of rumors, because there is no need to ration care. We are night tremendous supply situation compared to march or april. Of the house office of the cost of vaccine will be cost of medicare and medicaid, with the goal of ensuring no one will have to pay for the vaccine. The vaccines are coming right around the corner from it if i werent here come to have taken two or three or four years before you had the stuff, it is happening now. The greatest companies in the world doing it. Normal life will resume, and that is what we want, right . At the rally tonight in omaha, the president said thanks to our relentless efforts, 90 of current emergency room visits are for something other than covid. The highest e. R. Visits was nearly 7 back in april. Shannon . Shannon all right, Rick Leventhal from the west coast, thank you, rick. New allegations in the tale against hunter biden and the rest of the biden family, but does the story resonate and have an impact on the campaign trail . Correspondent rich edson takes a look at that angle for us tonight. Good evening, rich. Good evening, shannon. It has become a fixedrate President Shall events, President Trump of queues and former Vice President joe biden and his son of corruption. More republicans are publicly suggesting the president talk about something else. How about ukraine . His son sits on a board, no energy experience, no experience, where is hunter . It is called the laptop from hell. Campaign alleys to the final president ial debate. You are the big man, i said maybe you are not, but youre the big man. Your son said we have to give 10 of the big man. Joe, what is that all about . It is terrible. President trump is pitching voters on former Vice President joe bidens son, hunter, and his International Business conduct. The president even invited one of hunters former Business Partners to the final president ial debate. Before that debate started, Tony Bobulinski held a press event accusing the bidens of wrongdoing and continues doing so. Inactivate, you made a specific statement around questions around this, and ill be honest with you, almost stood up and screamed liar and walked out, because i was shocked that after four days or five days that they prepped for this, that the biden family is taking that position to the world. The president s allies reportedly pitched to the wall street journal and the story of a planned Business Venture with a chinese oil company. The journal ultimately reported that corporate records showed no role for joe biden. Now, senior Congressional Republicans want the president to stop talking about it, like texas senator ted cruz. Here exerts from the october 26 episode of axios on hbo. I dont think we lose a single voter. I think we should be unified. We should be explaining. We should be lifting people up. I think it is a turnout election. Other senior republican senators have also urged the president to instead discuss what they say is a better pitch to voters. The prepandemic economy, regulations, and foreign policy. Shannon . Shannon all right, we will see what resonates. Rich edson, thank you. Folks in ohio taking advantage of early voting in unprecedented numbers this election season. Correspondent kevin corke is live in columbus tonight looking at why so many people there, millions across the country, are casting their ballots in advance of election day. Hey, kevin. Evening, shannon. As you know, the president did fairly well in the Buckeye State back in 2016. In fact, he won hereby just a little bit more than eight points. If early voting is any indication of how things may go this year, is a figure he may build on in 2020. In ohio, the lines are what you noticed first. Serpentine, study, no longer a ripple in a political pond, but a wave of early voting. Put your ballot right over here. Every ballot, every voter, a buckeye voice heard loudly, and for many, earlier than ever before. We are going to win this great state, and we are going to win four more years. In the white house. We have a sacred obligation to vote. It matters. Ohio matters. The candidates continue to make their pitch, even though millions have already decided. In ohio, for example, more than 2 million have cast their ballots early, a figure that tops the entire run up to the 2016 election. Whats more, its a trend playing out across the country, in states like texas, North Carolina, georgia, florida, arizona, and pennsylvania. Where 1. 4 Million People have cast early or absentee ballots so far. G. O. P. Officials in ohio believe strong early voting actually bodes well for the president s reelection bid. In a state that he won by a surprisingly large margin in 2016. The democrats are cannibalizing their election day vote. We have a large outstanding number of voters who are going to show up on election day. Still, this year has been unlike any other. Massive numbers already tallied, and millions more to go. Things like voter enthusiasm. It is concerns related to the pandemic, people who do not want to come out and vote in person, so they are participating via absentee voting. In ohio from our slogan for a while now has been we want to be ready for november, and we are. Ready. A sentiment clearly shared by a millions of voters come here and across the nation. And indeed, the numbers are truly astounding, shannon, more than 70 million americans have already cast early ballots, and thats about 20 million more than did so back in 2016. And by the way, there are some experts that believe that is a figure that could climb to 90 million by november 3rd. Shannon . Shannon we are almost there. Kevin, thank you so much. Fears are percolating across the political spectrum that no matter the results of the president ial election, there could be violence and rioting. Correspondent alex hogan reporting live tonight from new york on how cities and states all across the country are bracing themselves. Good evening, alex. Good evening, shannon. Concerns over either intimidation when it comes to voting or civil unrest causing leaders around the country to take proactive steps. City leaders preparing for the possible aftermath of november 3rd, in the nations capital, some businesses boarding up storefronts on monday, and some others remain covered from protests throughout the summer. In california, the Beverly HillsPolice Department urging retailers on rodeo drive to protect their windows before Election Night, out of precaution, the luxury row will close to cars and pedestrians o. While we are hopeful for a peaceful week ahead, your Police Department is prepared to protect our city. In portland, the mayor working with businesses to plan ahead, tweeting, the city of portland is preparing to protect voting and Public Safety on and around election day. The texas guard sending troops to houston, dallas, fort worth, austin, and san antonio. New york city deploying extra security to 88 Early Voting Centers and training officers for all scenarios. We did a tabletop exercise, and we threw every kind of incident you could imagine at it. We dont have any information or suspect that we are going to have any of those things in particular. The president cast doubts on absentee ballots, urging his supporters to go to the polls and watch for voting fraud. Critics, including House Speaker nancy pelosi, calling his words voter intimidation and that his claims could embolden extremist groups like the proud boys. One antitrump group telling supporters to take to the streets. The organization shut down d. C. , writing on mine, we are making plans to be in the streets before the polls even close, ready to adapt and respond to whatever comes our way. And despite the polarization of this election, americans could find themselves united in the unknown. About a handful of states will not start counting votes until election day, meaning that there could be hours, or even days of waiting for those results. Shannon . Shannon yep, likely scenario. Alex, thank you. So, as election day nears, both campaigns gearing up for an epic battle to follow. Trump Campaign Director tim murtaugh is here live, next. Shannon well, a man set fire to a ballot box in boston over the weekend, damaging thousands of ballots, making headlines and raising concerns about the security of voting this year and all of the different ways going about that. Lets discuss their state of the race one week out with Trump CampaignCommunications Director tim murtaugh. Good to have you back, tim. Good to see you, shannon. Good to be with you. Shannon i want to get to you with some of the backandforth youve had with bloomberg, their reporting on a spending in the key state of florida, ad dollars pole, saying Donald Trumps campaign has slashed its budget in florida relying on the Republican National committee to carry the message there. By comparison, biden has booked 16. 7 million in florida for the last 15 days of the race. Are you conceding thought or feeling positive . [laughs] no, we feel very confident in florida and we know the president is ahead in florida. We had a pretty lengthy argument with bloomberg today because their initial reporting was way off. We were up on television and 40, seven figure by statewide, and we announced last week we were doing a combined coordinated buy with the Republican National committee come out on in florida, a six figure buy on local cable, spanishlanguage, also radio in florida. We are competing in florida at a heavy, heavy level, and i dont know what bloomberg was looking at, they had to go out and issue a new version of that story, and the add analytics that bloomberg said they were relying on came out and said, hey, just to be clear here, trump is on tv in florida, so thats the deal we are fighting in florida, we arer to come and the president is going to wins home state a second time. We feel very good and if joe biden wants to waste his time, that is his business, but the president is going to be solid there. Shannon he was also in georgia today, thats raising a lot of questions for folks who feel some level of confidence come his campaign taking off with what has been traditionally a red state, but lets read something from politico, they say caution and confidence keep biden close to home in the final days, saying he is stuck with a plan of running a slow but steady race premised on the idea that trump steps all over himself when he is out campaigning, and keep making the election on a referendum on the president s behavior. A real clear politics paul gives the Vice President and edge of five points in critical states, so is is Campaign Strategy working . No, i wouldnt say it is working. What you see he is doing here is he now knows, joe biden knows his path through pennsylvania has been cut off because hes been exposed as being an enemy of the fracking industry, and indeed, all of the fossil fuels industry, for all of the people in the states that her energy producing, thats really bad news. In pennsylvania, he would kill 600,000 fracking jobs, so pennsylvania is essentially cut off her joe biden. Thats what hes trying to find these emergency alternative paths, and if he wants to waste his time in georgia, we welcome that. We encourage them to spend a lot of time and money in georgia, because the president is going to win georgia again. Meanwhile, the president is visiting the battleground states, but hes also going to states that Hillary Clinton won. On sunday, he was in new hampshire. He will be in nevada tomorrow. In recent days, hes been in minnesota. The Vice President was in minnesota just yesterday. These are all states that Hillary Clinton won come and remember, the president wins the states he won in 2016, he is reelected, so it is as simple as that. The president has multiple paths. He won with electoral votes to spare in 2016. We aim to repeat that. In fact, we think we can expand that and pick off some of the States Hillary clinton won in 2016. Shannon nbc news notes that both of the campaigns are spending time in places like maine and nebraska, anticipating potentially a race that could be decided by a single Electoral College vote. Very interesting how some of these states will split their votes. How worried are you it could come down to one, and it doesnt matter if it is in your favor, you are the Biden Campaign, for them, do you think it will be that close . Well, you want to them at every single electoral vote that is on the table, and the Second District of maine and the Second District of nebraska are once the president can get, so we want to win those. It also why we campaigned in states that hillary won, as i just talked about, in nevada, in minnesota, in new hampshire, and its also why you go and take care of the states that you won the last time. And we know which states are very likely to decide this election. Its going to be florida, North Carolina, pennsylvania, ohio, michigan, wisconsin, and maybe even minnesota. We feel very good about arizona, i would add to that mix, we feel very, very good about that makes, and we know where the prg in the states, and we know the in person early voting numbers are very good for the president , all of the battleground states, the president is ahead in the in person early voting, so all of the indications are that the absentee ballot, the ballot by mail numbers, where democrats have an edge, they dont have a big enough edge, and we know the president s supporters will vote on election date in big numbers, and the democrats lead in the mailing vote is not big enough, and i think you see that they know that, that is why they sent joe biden to vote in person in delaware a few weeks back because they were worried that they had scared all their voters away from voting in person. We know the president s people are going to show up on election day, and we know that the president is in solid standing in the battleground states that matter. Shannon so much data to crunch, and just seven days to go. Tim murtaugh, thank you. Thank you, shannon. Good to see you. Shannon okay, as the New York Post has two weeks being locked out of its own twitter account, social Media Companies will face a drilling about censorship and war on capitol hill tomorrow, and senator Marsha Blackburn will be there asking questions. Priceline. Every trip is a big deal. Shannon several hundred members of the pennsylvania National Guard being mobilized and i to help Philadelphia Police deal with unrest. A Police Involved shooting on monday left an africanamerican man dead. Aishah hasnie is there now. Hi, aishah. Shannon, good evening to you. Act of looting happening right now here in philadelphia. Take a look behind me, we are in the Walmart Plaza looking at a couple of stores that have been looted and folks coming out of the five below store just now, running out of the store with bags in hand, weve been seeing that all over this neighborhood. It really continues to go on. There are police ready much everywhere. There is a lot of cops and police in helicopters, but it is not stopping the looters right now. They are creating traffic jams in certain parking lots. We also saw people stealing thousands of tvs from a walmart earlier this evening. Theres been looting at a target, a foot locker, a dollar general, and again, we are seeing that heavy Police Presence at philadelphia pd promised they would have tonight, but again, not stopping looters who are kind of working in small groups and hitting up these stores as soon as they see the cops move away. Now, this comes hours after Walter Wallace jr. s family pleaded with the public this evening not to lose or commit violence. Listen to this. I aint got time to burn up stores where i live. Its uncalled for, it really is. And the people doing it is sending a bad case they not helping me and my family, they showing disrespect. They make us look like we animals and wes not. Protest in philadelphia following the fatal shooting, hundreds of people took to the streets, some looting businesses and setting vehicles on fire. Others in the crowd were throwing rocks and bricks at police. More than 90 people were arrested, and at least 30 officers injured in all of this, including one female officer who was hit by a truck. Now, the outrage sparked by this video here of Police Shooting wallace jr. In a West Philadelphia neighborhood. Officers say they responded to the area, reports of an armed man, found wallace Walking Around with a nice. They say they ordered him to drop the weapon but he continued moving toward the officers, and then each of the two officers fired at him seven different times. Wallace was pronounced dead at a hospital. His father told the Philadelphia Inquirer at his son was on medication, been struggling with some Mental Health issues, and protesters and the family have been demanding answers as to why a nonlethal force like a taser wasnt used instead. Does two officers have now been placed on desk duty pending an investigation. The d. A. Is promising a thorough investigation that includes reviewing body cam footage that has not yet been released. Listen. Part of our task is to make sure we dont just have some of the information, we have all of it. We dont have just some of the information, we have all of it. Again, police are on the streets right now, trying to get people out of this area. We continuously hear shots being fired. Not too long ago, we heard an entire clip being fired off, so it is a very dangerous situation out here, as looting again right behind me continues here in philadelphia tonight. Shannon . Shannon yeah, and aishah, we have a number of live shots. This is happening to different portions of the city there. Just to be clear, from your reporting, we have heard hundreds of National Guardsmen would be available, that police would be out in force. You are saying they are, but these looters are still getting away with this. Is it police are spread too thin . What is your assessment of whats happening . Or are they allowing, as weve seen in some jurisdictions last several months, deciding when and where to intervene and not to intervene in some of these cases . Right, exactly. Most of the looting that happened last night happened in West Philadelphia, and now tonight, because there has been such a show of force in West Philadelphia, we have seen the looting going to other parts of the city, we are in north philadelphia right now, where much of the looting is happeni happening. The Police Presence is primarily on the road, not really seeing a lot of Police Presence next to the stores. So maybe that is part of their tactics. They are just trying to keep people off the roads and trying to keep traffic flowing and keeping people out as much as possible, but yeah, it is not preventing these people you know, some of them are holding shopping carts, pushing shopping carts in and out of the stores and trying to get away with as much as possible, but definitely more happening throughout the city than it did last night, where it was more focused on West Philadelphia. Shannon all right, we will keep tracking it and check back with you. Aishah hasnie in philly, thank you very much. Senator Marsha Blackburns live next, plus we break down messaging from the campaign. fisherman vo how do i register to vote . Hmm . Hmm . Im hearing the most awful things, people shouting at me. Its ok. When you live with schizophrenia like us, it can feel like youre living in a different world. Call 8557 fanapt shannon so we are just hours away from the heads of big tech being hauled before the senate to answer claims that they are actively censoring specific views and impacting the president ial election in the process. Lets bring in a member of the Commerce Committee thats going to be asking questions tomorrow, senator Marsha Blackburn. Good to be with you, shannon. And yes, we are looking forward to tomorrow. Shannon okay, so one of your democratic counterparts, senator brian schatz, says this, subpoena tech ceos days before an election, highly unusual timing and topic, not carrying foreign misinformation, the outrage that Companies Choosing not to run rudys plays. I assume they mean rudy giuliani. Your response . Its so interesting, the Commerce Committee, it was a unanimous, bipartisan vote to issue subpoenas, and something that we all agreed on, it was time to do it. Chairman graham, chairman whitaker have joined me in pushing forward the online freedom and Viewpoint Diversity act. We need to talk to the tech ceos about censorship. Doesnt matter if you are an offer, a writer, if youre producing movies, i if you are a songwriter, everybody seems to have a problem with what is being done with censorship online, and primarily, when you look at the political sphere, it is the republicans that get censored, not the democrats. Shannon and senator, one side of our screen, we are continuing to watch in philadelphia where there is a second night of unrest and looting there, keeping an eye on what is going there, we will keep our viewers updated. Let me continue on, politico saying despite the censorship, conservatives dominate social media come some of the biggest Success Stories of peope building a following on facebook and other platforms, its a place theyve been able to flourish. They say republicans have turned a alleged liberal bias into a main theme of the election cycle, but millions of social media posts show conservatives still rule online. Conservatives know they cannot depend on the Mainstream Press room and they know the most powerful news network right now is what i call the y ou, it is you and your circle of friends. So they are active online, but the point still remains, you take somebody like my friend diamond and silk, they are constantly censored or blocked or throttled. You look at the press know my campaign account, its been throttled, and these are things happening to conservatives. Big tech ceos should say who we want things to be fair and equitable and we want everyone to realize we are a great information service. Thats not what they are doing. Now theyve decided they are a news service. But do they have a news director . No. They are just making themselves the gods of the universe, and they are deciding what they want to censor and what they want to push forward. Shannon well, as you know, there have been bipartisan agreement that action needs to be taken. Its a rare thing, we feel these days in d. C. , so something to watch, and we will. Senator blackburn, thank you for your time. Good to be with you. Thank you. Shannon it is prediction time. Our panel will weigh in next on the Election Night winners they think will come up. Choose coricidin hbp. The brand with a heart. For powerful cold relief without raising your blood pressure. Shannon just seven days out from election day, both president ial Candidates Campaign on the road, as did their spouses, several surrogates out there, as well. Lets debate who is winning the messaging battle in the home stretch. Fox news contributors Jessica Tarlov and steve hilton, g. O. P. Pollster chris wilson. Good to have you all with us tonight. Thank you, shannon. Thanks. Shannon this, chris is a pollster, ill start with you. You and steve the if im saying that correctly. Questions in the polling that seem to suggest to them that while the president may lose the popular vote, he has a good shot at winning the Electoral College. Again, they say this, that are on the questions are this, the Social Circle question asked respondents to report social contacts they expect to vote for each candidates, the other known as a state winner question, asking participants who they think will win back the election in their state. Why do those, chris, give different data than simply asking where you voting for . Well, really, they shouldnt come as what it gets down to. I think that is a matter of trying to get around what is being defined as a shy trump affect, but i have to say, asking something other than a ballot, you are kind of doing it republicans did in 2012, when we did a thing that turned into nothing more than a walk of shame on Election Night. The National Polls are irrelevant. State polls are what matter, and in that case, you have several states where joe biden is not doing as well as Hillary Clinton was four years ago. Wisconsin is a state, pennsylvania is a state, North Carolina is a state, all were joe bidens trailing end Hillary Clinton was at the same point. It is silly to get beyond that and look at more than just state by state polls that tell us and give a pretty good picture of where the race stands right now. Shannon so president obama has been out there in recent days, on the campaign trail for his former Vice President joe biden. He said this today, he said, we cant be complacent, both got lazy and took for granted, look what happened. Jessica, it seems like people are awake this time. President trump may have snuck on them and he states last time working Hillary Clinton didnt campaign. Do you really think there is going to be any surprise or any complacency this time, as president obama seems to be a little worried about . I certainly hope not. I actually went and voted today, waited two hours and mine in new york city. No doubt its going to go blue for joe biden, but people amped up to vote and there are so many more opportunities, especially to vote early and in person. I saw a lot of people dropping off their absentee fail in nailn ballots, participate in the process. What president obama is saying in the group i believe he is targeting specifically as black men, thats going to be a big feature of the last week of campaigning for him, as well. We know black women turn out in droves and they have pushed us over the line in a lot of huge , including doug jones, all across virginia, georgia, for instance, but black men have trailed behind black women in terms of participation, but also in support with democratic candidates, so thats what i believe president obama is going to be targeting, more specifically, as his tour goes on. But i will say i dont know if the panel would agree with me he seems really like obama unleashed, like hes having a good time. Its the first time we really hurt him go in on President Trump in this level of detail, and i think that he knows as well as michelle obama, whose main message was you need a plan and you need to get out to vote during the dnc, and we cannot take any vote for granted. We lost by 77,000 last time, and its feasible it could happen again. Shannon well, that is in line with a piece in the hill today, that said dont believe the polls, trump is winning, the authors say, we predict President Trump or win the 2020 president ial election win big, while the majority of the falls suggest democratic nominee joe biden is leading, those polls suffer from at least three problems. First, the tone of the question. Second, the sample of the respondents. Third, the content of the current news cycle. Steve, do you think the pole could be so wrong two cycles in a role, especially because thest want to get burned based on what happened last time around . I agree with what we just heard a moment ago, which is actually, last time the National Polls were not wrong. They pretty accurately matched the Electoral College im sorry, the popular vote outcome. It was the state polls that were wrong because their sample sizes werent big enough, and so on. Actually, as we also just heard, state polls are much closer than we think, so i think all of those things can be true at once and i think the election generally is much closer than most of the medias given credit for, and i think that is because, in the end, those factors that drive election in the past are there right now, in particular, the economic interests that people have, and the message right now from President Trump, i think, its very clear. A lot of people in the media are saying he doesnt have a Closing Argument, hes all over the place with the things he saying. Thats actually not true. If you listen to what he is saying consistently come every single opportunity he is very clear recovery with trump, back to the greatest economy we ever had, but a shutdown with biden and another depression, thats a clear choice, and as we get nearer to election day, the more optimistic candidate is actually President Trump, and that does the candidate, in the end, that usually wins. Shannon okay, you literally have five seconds each to tell me your pick for who you think wins next week and why. We are going to get cut off. Go down on mine again, start with you, chris. Five seconds. President trump has about a one in four chance, the same as he had in 2016 based on where the polling is, i would say thats about right. Probably a little better than his chances were in 2016. Shannon jessica . I think joe biden wins because america wants to be united and they are sick of the chaos. Hes been on message, that this is a fight for the soul of the nation, and i push back on steve a little bit, the president s office message, telling suburban women, we got your husbands back to work, that is not one american americans want to hear. Trump, because of the optimism and the focus of the economy, think that is been to make the difference. Shannon all right, thank you all.
