I think you might want to listen. There is nothing wrong with listening. If somebody called from a country, norway, we have information on your opponent, oh, i think i would want to hear it. You want that kind of interference in the election . Thats not interference. Its information. Any thought there was something wrong i gold to the fbi. Whats interesting about this, when you look at the people to said yes, 2 were republicans. Only 2 . 62 were democrats. And the independents, the people who pick the president . 35 percent said yes. Thats not enough. Brian i believe and i know you are too busy to watch during the day these impeachment hearings that come out and rantings and ravens come in video to a 434 page book. I think the people are fed up. The people convinced the president sun worthy are there. The people that think it is a witchhunt are here. And the people in the middle have tuned it out. But when we dont get the help that we need, especially when it comes down to the funding, when you have got the when you have got the hard left and the hard right that are constantly fighting back and forth, that creates that divide where we cant get anything done. Brian so when a guy dies from the flu they want to blame Border Patrol. When people are overcrowded or they come over or hurt, they want to blame Border Patrol. They dont have the facilities to house them. Yesterday democrats could not break impasse over funding the crisis which they refused to act on. You are just talking about humanitarian aid. You are not talking about wall or daca or anything controversial. What is the problem . It comes down to politics. They want to get reelected. They dont care about whats best for the country as a whole. Brian how would they get somebody reelect. Thats not in americas interest. Its about district. Its strictly about districts. If im a congressman in a district that wants open borders that wants illegal aliens, then they are going to pander to that. They see there is a crisis and a problem. The president has tweeted he says mexico is doing more to help than congress. It should not be that way. Mexico is now doing whateye they are stepping up to the plate and becoming True Partners in border security. What we have seen is less people working their way up through mexico right now already. So its already paying dividends. Steve the reason mexico is cracking down now and this is what is understood or inferred is if they dont crack down now, in 45 days or 90 days after last friday, the United States can going to really insist on that safe third country business which mexico does not want. No, they dont. But that was the brilliance of what President Trump did is he all he did was said okay, im going to take the tariffs back right now. But they are still on the table. In 90 days from now if you dont do what you need to do im going to put the tariffs right back on. He is putting the pressure on to make them a third safe country. Ainsley how would free healthcare truly affect our doctors and you the patient . Brian stand back, im going to introduce dr. Siegel. He is our medical contributor dr. Siegel. Medicare for all. We understand where peoples heart is. They want to give medical coverage for everybody. But this is not reality, is it . Not only that its not really medicare. By the time you are done with it, you are looking at a system thats somewhere between medicare and medicaid number one. Number two, you lose all the choice that you have under the Current Employer based healthcare system, which is covering over 170 Million People. They are not going. Brian you cant have both . You cant have private and you cant have medicare for all. Not under these plans you cant. Ainsley you cant choose your doctor. You cant choose your Health Insurance plan and doctor and where you go for care. You are dealing with narrow networks. They will muscle everybody in. Ainsley the government could send you to the worst hospital, the one thats hat worst rating and have you no choice. Absolutely. Not only that doctors will be paid about 40 less. Hospitals currently make 85 cents on the dollar with medicare. All of the research that goes on in americans, all of me. All supporting it. You take that away and you end up with less research, less innovation, less new drugs. Bright eyed medical students graduating. Steve lets see the hands here in the studio audience, Bernie Sanders has suggested that people would be willing to pay more in taxes for medicare for all. Let me see the hands of the people okay nobody on that side. How about the other side . How many people would pay more for taxes for medicare for all . I dont see a single hand. Here is, why steve. Sounds great. 58 support it. Sounds great. Whats it going to cost . 30 trillion over 10 years. The hands go down. Will you be able to have access to your physician or the healthcare you need . Hands go down when you hear that in canada, which is single payer you have to wait several weeks for mri, ct scan or hip replacement or to see a specialist. Who wants to wait several weeks to see a specialist. Brian you talk to the brits they have a different opinion on Bernie Sanders. Because he thinks they have it made. You cant have obamacare and medicare for all. Do the democrats realize that while lauding obamacare they talk about medicare for all. Thats where the candidates are going to divide by the way. Thats where they cant have it both ways. I think they are going to realize. I think its a Campaign Slogan, brian. I dont think its ever going to happen. They will selfdestruct by getting behind it. The one doctor who would perform the surgery on her brain to remove the clot was at that one hospital and he happened to be on call that night. If she had went to that one i would be motherless. Let the market drive down healthcare costs by perhaps having hospitals and Healthcare Centers publish price list so we could see who not necessarily the cheaper but better prices are much like the government might have putt putt ingredients on the food supply. Guess. What the safety net. Guess what . Thats already the case in the United States. We have to take care of you. If you have an emergency. Thats a right. Its not a right to have your lay sick surgery done. Its not. Brian elective. Thats elective. I think thats a misnomer. Also we have clinics in the United States that serve 22 Million People paid for by the federal government. Thats the safety net. So, its a complete misnomer and fraudulent to go around saying you have a right to, you know get your Blood Pressure check here or to get your eye drops here. Brian ultimately, its going to be a bipartisan solution because no matter who is in power is going to keep flipping the other Persons Program out. Both sides have got to get together. Listen to him, here he is yesterday in his own words. We must recognize that in the 21st century, in the wealthiest country in the history of the world, economic rights are human rights. That is what i mean by democratic socialism. [cheers and applause] that is the difference between donald trump and me. He believes in corporate socialism for the rich and powerful. Ainsley works three jobs and he put himself through college and his goal was to put all three of us through college. That last day when my brother graduated we all celebrated we love him so much. He worked so hard. Brian right now 45 of most of our paychecks go to the government anyway and they want to take more of it. Meanwhile the good news is for people who dont think this country stray socialist nation it seems like america is sobering up. Bernie sanders is steadily dropping in all the polls. What are our values. I dont think socialism is compatible. I think of america i think of capitalism. Steve it is for whatever it is right there. Ainsley 29 . The truth is if you go to work every single day you should earn the wage you merit from that work. Just like if you are commissioned based salesman like i am myself. Im paid based on merit. If i work hard i get paid more money. Why why go to work and work hard every single day if i knew my pay was going to be the same as somebody else that wants to sit on the couch and do nothing. I think the problem we have in America Today is our schools and universities and colleges no longer teacher the true meaning to capitalism and what it actually means. Brian right. Unfortunately we are taught by a left wing agendas. [applause] when our kids get out of college they have a tremendous amount of debt. Of course these polls are taken and taken on College Campuses and have you 200,000 in college debt and Bernie Sanders is out there saying lets forgive all the college debt. People are going to stand up and say yes i want that to be forgiven because they havent yet become the people that are going to pay for that. Everything has a cost. Brian someone walks up to you in life and says i would like to pay off your car loan and mortgage you would say yes. Have you candidates saying i would like to pay off student debt. There is a college too expensive. They say here is a parent loan. Here is a student loan i have got to do it because i believe in my kid. Next thing you know your kid is 100,000 in debt and doesnt have a job yet. You were too good though. Where is charles . Back row. Brian all right. Charles. You can stand up. I will try not to get in front of you. Where do you stand up. We do have somewhat of a safety net in this country. Thats fine and understandable. If you look at history, socialism has failed everywhere its tried. Thats right. They keep talking about everything is going to be free. Nothing is free. Somebody is going to have to pay for it. Yesterday, he had something fascinating to say. He said america would be willing to pay more taxes. Listen. I suspect that a lot of people in this country would be delighted to pay more in taxes if they had if they had comprehensive healthcare as a human right. When their kids have Educational Opportunities without outofpocket expenses, when they have healthcare as a human right, when they have affordable housing. When they have decent retirement, security. He wants to get answers. He has worked for democratic administrations and been very effective. His first target is the cia. Ainsley we are learning now that the doj is going to interview two cia officers. One senior intelligence. Cia analyst. Both of them were involved in the agencys work on understanding the Russia Campaign to sabotage the election. Steve thats right. Congressman john ratcliffe, republican from texas said there are a lot of questions that the cia should answer because it all goes back to the starting of the collusion investigation. There is a lot that attorney general barr, i think, has said doesnt jive with respect to that and thats why john durham is looking at the issues that the democrats arent willing to look at. We all waited for two years for bob mueller to come out and say no collusion no, conspiracy by donald trump. But you wouldnt have known that in the hearing today. The democrats repeatedly said there was collusion. There was conspiracy. But somehow bob mueller and his of nearly 60 fbi investigators and fbi agents somehow just missed it.
