Michael cohen pleaded guilty to lying to congress saying he made false statements. Very simply Michael Cohen is lying and trying to get a reduced sentence for things that have nothing to do with me. One tree. You have so many trees here and hallways to decorate. Its the theme of american treasures. Brian here we go with a fox news alert. Moments ago the president of the United States kicked off the g20 summit just like he promised to land in ar argentina, he has done just that he has actually met with the argentinian leader who by the way he says he had a relationship with by the way we built the west side yards together in new york city. Ed he knew his father and said he was a good looking man. Ainsley good morning to everyone at home. Steve is down in nashville he will be live at kid rocks steak house down there. But you are looking at video of argentina. The g20 summit is kicking off this morning. We saw video probably about an hour ago the president of argentina. Ed this is a live look now this is where the president is going to signed new nafta with canada and mexico. We will be going there live of course. Ainsley thats right. When he was there with the president of argentinena, he said we have been friends for a longer time. I knew his dad. We helped build the hudson yards together. We have been long time friends. Is he a handsome man. Little did i know i would be doing business with his son. Brian the usmca is going to be signed in a short while. This happened about a hour ago. Ed ahead of their breakfast. Brian is he going to be doing business and major meeting of the day will be not of the day but of the g20 summit the chinese leader. I dont think there is any doubt about that. Putin meeting has been cancelled. Thats going to be kiran over the weekend with the chinese president xi. Obviously wall street looking at and it the world looking at it to see whether there will be a deal on tariffs. Ainsley its 7 00 a. M. , our president the Prime Minister of canada Justin Trudeau and the president of mexico his last day in office those three leaders will be on stage participating in the signing ceremony of the new nafta deal. Brian here is what i find a little bit disturbing. Usmca seems to have widespread agreement much better deal than the nafta deal which even if you loved nafta in the 80s its got to be updated in 2018. Ed all the critics said he would never be able to do it. Brian pass it at least bring it up. Already senator Elizabeth Warren says i dont like it. Maybe she doesnt know why she doesnt like it other democrats are behind it other democrats will say i dont think so. I want some nuances to Worker Rights in different nations. Ainsley after they sign the deal, then each government, each three governments have to ratify that deal. It would be much easier to ratify it if it goes through now during lame duck session because republican have the house and senate. Ed trying to attack these issues. Can you Rudy Giuliani was furious once again second time before a major foreign trip there was a development in the mueller case. A new deal with Michael Cohen the president s former attorney. The president tweeting about this a short time ago because cohen had admitted he lied to congress about a russian real estate deal that never really came together. The president treating a short time ago. I get it. I have a very good developer, happily living my wife when i see our country going the wrong direction to future mildly, against all odds. I decide to run for president and continue to my my business, very legal and very cool. Talked about it on the campaign trail. Talked about doing a building in russia. Put up zero money, zero guarantees and didnt do the project. Witchhunt. You can see where the president stands this morning. Ainsley he said he was protecting the president when he lied to the senate intel committee. He said that the project was supposed to he said it ended in january of 2016. The talks did. Now he is saying it ended in june of 2016. The president said yesterday even if we were continuing the talks it wasnt illegal because i was still running. It was during the campaign. We will talk to the experts today to find out if thats the case. Brian brian question, moscow project. If you look at what the president has done. If you read the books. Russia roulette, michael one of the authors. Depressive look the president was always interested in developing things internationally especially in moscow. In the 1980s he says this thing has tremendous potential i would love to building is here. Goes back in the 1990s i would love to building is here. 96 starts moving forward and never gets off the ground like many russian projects. 2015 he said i would like to building is here the socalled moscow project and even outlined what it would be like. Have condos offices. Luxury building. Types of location he is. There is nothing wrong with that when you look at the trump organizations 24 Domestic Properties in nine different states. Nine International Properties in six different countries. Places like cutter, a building in turkey thats what he was doing for a living. The thing that is different about it is the president just came out and said yeah, the moscow project i have been talking about it, i have been signing leases while i have been run for president. Doing fire codes while im running for president. I stopped talking about it in june of 2016. Instead he said i stopped talking about it in january of 2016. The project never got off the ground. But the Michael Cohen situation is Michael Cohen was having contacts in moscow. Michael cohen doesnt get paid many people said unless he pulls off deals like this. So was moving forward. There is no smoking gun here. But if the president had been more transparent and said i stopped talking about that in june. I told everyone to put that aside. Thats the truth. In january they actually told us it stopped but it didnt stop until june. Ed special Counsel Robert Mueller the mandate is to investigate russian interference in the 2016 campaign. Everything you just laid out. Business deals the president has been working on for years. You have to wonder whether this is how big of a deal this is. What else Michael Cohen told the special counsel he talked to him Something Like 70 hours behind closed doors. There could be more coming. The Mainstream Media is turning this into yet again we heard this before. The walls are closing in. Its all over. Watch. Today is the first day i thought donald trump might not finish his term in office. This thing is enormous. This is the tip of the iceberg. Once is he out of office this will not stop either. Every ambitious attorney in new york is not going to stop until they take this empire apart. Today is a good day for donald trump to resign. Feels like much more ominous moment for the white house. If mueller is proceeding without being throttled and stymied and proceeding at this kind of a pace rolling out this kind of stuff right now, everything is aiming right at the president personally and thats got to be very unsettling for them. Its shakespearian because somebody who said he would take a bullet for donald trump is now pointing the gun at him. Ed that sound bite from msnbc was probably the most honest one saying every prosecutor that wants to get donald trump is going to continue for years trying to take this empire down. Thats what theyre trying to do. They are saying it right out that they want to take the business down not just the president. Brian here is Alan Dershowitz on the big picture. The problem is mueller is straying away from his mandate to find crime. He is now looking for political sin. Building buildings in moscow, using stolen material from assange. These are not crimes. He has no authority to be a roving commissioner to find political sins. So far i dont see any evidence of crimes except for ones he helped to facilitate by getting people to lie in front of his own investigators. Brian basically what he is saying is what they are trying to do and Andy Mccarter was able to decipher this a little bit on the radio with us. What mueller is trying to do is trying to say hey, there was some surrogates of the president , talking to Julian Assange about the document dump there were business dealings with russia. And hes going to try to tie that together, believe it or not, with the trump tower meeting. Now, Michael Cohen never went to issue are a. The president never went to russia. In these sevenpage documents they talk about possibly doing that im sure the president could say yeah i possibly was going to do a business deal in germany and another in saudi arabia and another one in turkey. Thats what i was doing all along. This is, they say, mueller is going to paint the scenario where the trump tower meeting, the contacts and the moscow deal was all somehow simmering behind the hacking of John Podestas email. Ainsley he liked your show so much yesterday he is coming on the show today. If Vladimir Putin had some information on our president , wouldnt our president have continued that meeting down at the g20 summit . Would he have cancelled that . Thats a question that came to mind for me. And also the timing of all of this. Because the president just turned in his written responses and then Michael Cohen does this right after those written responds. Ed they were sitting on it he talked to mueller over the summer in august. They didnt want to reveal what they had from Michael Cohen. They wanted to get the answers from the president. Then they revealed. This we will see what other cards they have. The president s legal team there is nothing that Michael Cohen said yesterday that conflicts with the president s answers. Thats key. Brian yep. Meanwhile a fox news alert. Tijuanas mayor taking aim at the organizers of the caravan. Sitting down for interview with fox news as thousands of migrants in this city are trying to gain entry into the United States. Ed Griff Jenkins sem bedded with the caravan down in mexico. He joining us from tijuana with more from that oneonone interview. Good morning, griff. Griff good morning, guys. The mayor calls a humanitarian crisis. Look around. We have been looking around. You see a baby stroller, standing water, soaked, clothes. Its unbelievable as we walk along here. We even found in some of this trash there is medicine, toothbrush. All sorts of important things. But want you to quickly see this shot. That is the actual encampment. Costing the mayor 30,000 a day. The mayor says he has run out of funds he cant go beyond this weekend without federal funds. And he says that he blames the organizers for this mess. They are really criminals because they are dealing with lives. They are dealing with people. Its a federal crime. If you they asked me do you know who they are . No, i dont know. But just look at the films. Look at them and you will find who are they . Griff when he says films. Part of what is he talking about that situation on sunday when they rushed the border. He worries and hopes that doesnt happen again as these people become more desperate. He said that six hour shut down on sunday cost the tijuana people over 6 million. Meanwhile there is a Hunger Strike of sorts for a small handful of folks. That seems to be relatively shut down at this point, guys. Brian griff, you have more of that interview a little bit later, right . Griff yeah. We talked about a whole lot and who he blames and what he says is the real challenge and that is the fact that when he looks for the bad actors in it, the criminals, its the humanitarian folks here that will not allow them to ask them who they are. Ed whole story down there. Remember the veteran whose trump 2020 flag destroyed by vandals guess who just sent him a new one . Ainsley wondering where steve is thi this morning . He is live in nashville at kid rocks new trawnt. Hey, steve. Good morning, ainsley and brian and ed. You know, we put out the word, please people, show up in downtown. Brian President Trump slamming his former attorney Michael Cohen who is now pleading guilty to lying about proposed trump project in moscow the extent and length to which the negotiations were going on. Does this lead Robert Mueller any closer to collusion . Here to weigh in Fox News Contributor Andy Mccarter. Andy, what changed after the revelations about cohen saying i lied to congress . The only thing that changes, brian, really is political. Its not legal. During the campaign the Trump Campaign conveyed the message that the president , the now president had nothing to do with russia no. Deals no, negotiations and it turns out that they had a major deal and big negotiations. But none of that is a lie to anything in the sense of anything thats legally actionable. And none of it shows involvement in russias interference in the 2016 election. Brian cohen talks about higher contacts we think its fee his satter is number two. Number one is donald trump. We think its felix satter. It looks like they had higher up and more talks. It doesnt show anything. You have a businessman looking to do an International Business deal with a country that might have been ameanable to that. That country we were having a fallout with and the president is speaking kindly about which had a lot of people scratching their head. That plays into it, correct . Yeah. Thats exactly right. I mean, if they had been forth right about what the nature of the business was, what probably would have happened in the campaign is that would have head more attention on, you know, the russian contacts with the Clinton Foundation and the payments that went to clinton people from russia and it probably would have been a big hall la boo lieu for a week and we would have moved on to something else. The way stands now. What you have is the campaign is saying we have nothing to do with russia. Turns out they had more to do with russia than they said. But it doesnt mean that what they h to go with russia was a crime thats the bait and switch game thats gone on from the beginning. This investigation was supposed to be about trumps complicity no putins hacking of the democratic email accounts since they had not been able to approve that. They shifted to any kind of collusive activity. Any kind of concerted arrangements between russia and trump. So, then, the media tells everybody mueller is investigating trump collusion with russia. And in connection with that investigation, a number of Trump Associates have pled guilty and a number of russians have been indicted. And what they dont tell you is the trump people who pled guilty, that doesnt have anything to do with russias interference nut election. And the indictments against the russians dont have anything to do with the Trump Campaign. Brian and there is no proof. And there is no saying here President Trump said to Michael Cohen lie. He didnt because it would have appeared in these documents already. Not much has changed despite what cohen did yesterday except for cohen is trying to get some leniency. Andy, this is just scratching the surface. We will look forward to talking to you again. Yep. You have got it thanks, brian. Brian you got it appreciate you getting up early for us. Griff good morning, guys. The mayor of tijuana called this humanitarian crisis. Im going to show you why. Just a second breaking here there is a helicopter, in fact, just pan for two seconds. This is the lowest we have seen the Border Patrol helicopters flying. The reason why is talking with our mexican fixer now is one of the 40 or 50 people that tried to jump the fence. Were not able to do. So were told from this group that theyre looking for at least 20 that got across that wall right now. Let me show you the crisis thats going on in this because of the rain. Because of the the number of people in here 6,000, many of them sick with the flu, with hi respiratory infections, h. I. V. , aids, chicken pox. Infested with lies. The mayor gastelum says is he furious with organizers and one the people he holds responsible is helping them along the way. He thinks the leader should be arrested. Listen. This person who says he is from [inaudible] he is saying is he one of the leaders of the caravan, hey, you are charged with putting people in risk take care of him in a legally way. Griff literally above us now. We will get out and see if we can find the ones that tried to cross this wall. At the end of the day, mayor gagastelum he blames the president of honduras for letting them come in the first place. He has a message for the incoming president of mexico. Listen. The message for president , the honduran president. Get yourself back to work. Do things right. If you were elected or by someone. Do what they expect to do from you. Griff what would your message be for the incoming mexican president lopez obodor. A problem he must solve when he gets into office. Griff mayor gastelum says he cannot afford to foot this bill over this weekend as things get more desperate and attempts to go over the wall. Ed we will be getting back to you throughout the show. Ainsley yes we will. Ed google ceo about to get grilled on the hill over growing scandals. How you can protect your privacy. Thats next. That was a lot of talking. Back to building ainsley google ceo set to testify on capitol hill amid criticism from biased search results to major privacy concerns. Ed consumer organizations accuse go ahead google this week of tricking people into letting them track your location. This is a big deal. Ainsley how can you make your privacy is secure. Ask kurt neutz is on the cyber deal. Its a big deal. Netherlands where this complaint is coming out. Google denies it saying no we didnt change anything. They beg to differ. It just reminds me. You know what . Sometimes we click things that we dont know we click that do change our Privacy Union line when it comes to the behemoth google i want to know what they know about me. Right now can you see what web apps have access to your data go through and see what devices have access to your data. Always have a quick look at this and see how much of your life are you giving away to the world. Ainsley did you find anything that shocked you. I check mine allot because quite frankly i dont trust these people. I really dont. I think they mean well, there is no doubt about it that they are selling our souls and privacy down the river so they can make a buck. And all that money filters into Silicon Valley into stockholders they dont know my name and dont care less unless they can make some money. Ed they had empty chair for google to try tomorrow bare was them and shame them to coming into. What kind of pressure do they need to do now they have to do some. R work. They have got. To say behemoth running virtually all of the internet. They have our lives wrapped up into them. Hey, they have done a lot of great things for us. But, could we, could the three of us start any sort of tech thing and expect any fairness on google . Pull up any search. Search for any restaurant in any town, and what you will find is the majority of the information that is presented to you is owned by google. We would never have a chance of competing against that so watch for congress to start asking about antitrust issues which the president has already indicated he is interested in looking at that and when it comes to gool. Also, lets look at transparency. How do search results happen . What rights do you have with your privacy in this giant behemoth that now control our lives. Ed reached out to google. We havent heard back from them. They will get a chance to speak before congress and well hear it then. Its going to be interesting. Brian President Trump slamming former attorney Michael Cohen pleading guilty to lying about proposed project in moscow. Very simply Michael Cohen is lying and trying to get a reduced sentence for things that dont have anything to do with me. What they dont tell you trump people pleading guilty has nothing to do with russian interference in the election. Steve who is here for fox friends . Cheers] who is here for kid rock. [. [cheers and applause] steve what a show. Ed never ask a question you dont know the answer. To say sounds like they are more excited about kid rock. Ainsley very excited about both. Ed live with pictures in argentina. Ainsley we are awaiting our president to sign the usmca trade agreement with canada and mexico. Three podiums there the leaders of all three countries will be there to sign it. Brian even including the outgoing president of mexico. Term limited out only get one six year term. The more liberal they say leader will be taking over. But they have been clued and negotiating together in tandem in cooperation. They will announce this new deal which has got to have farmers, especially, very happy that they work this out because there is a lot of nervousness because of way we basically have taken down the borders when it comes to trade between the three countries. Ainsley you can see the media trying to get their places. Of the president was supposed to do this at 7 00 running a few minutes behind. Looks like the desk on the left is where they will be signing it. Ed they may take questions from reporters there our reporter kevin corke is live on the scene from buenas are a reiss at the g20 summit. Good morning, kevin. Packed day, indeed. If you watched our g20 coverage before standard fare including the upcoming family photo. We are looking forward to what promised to be a day at the g20. Saw the president for the first time. He the opportunity to meet with the president of argentina. The two men exchanged warm wishes and that set the stage for what they hope will be an incredibly productive summit. We have known each other a long while. We will be talking about lots of good things for argentina, for the United States, including trade. Including military purchase. But this is a great honor to be with you. You are my friend, long time. Great family, and you are doing a fantastic job and i want to con yat late you. Thank you. As we take a look at the schedule, you see the usmca signing coming up. The leaders of the u. S. , canada and mexico. This effectively replaces nafta. Doesnt really do very much different but does address according to u. S. Officials some of the shortcomings of the previous agreement. Later the president will have a meeting with the Vice President of japan and meetings with india and austria. What will come of the u. S. Tariffs on steel and aluminum with respect to canada is of great interest here at the g 20. We will look ahead to the mornings signing and see what if anything comes from that the canadians have fought very hard to end those tariffs. Ed thanks kevin corke live in argentina. Brian i still was wondering why. I thought it was to push us to a deal. No one wanted to get a deal. Okay, until we get a deal, this is going to be your tax. And now that we have a deal, do we still need that . Ainsley well, maybe not. Maybe we will see this end now that they have signed this deal or sign it in a few minutes. Once they sign it, it has to go to each country and has to be ratified. Ed remember, this is a big achievement with President Trump and even bigger deal would be a deal with china. Thats on the sidelines of the g20. What everyone will be looking at that dinner President Trump is having with examin president xi. Brian in the senate you need two thirds to wrath it. Thats going to be the challenge. If you want to know the paris accord turned over and iranian deal scrapped because president obama never went through congress. He didnt even get the majority in the senate let alone two thirds needed which makes it vulnerable if you are President Trump you dont want to be in that situation again. Ed yeah. Ainsley President Trump did cancel that meeting. He tweeted about canceling that meeting with Vladimir Putin. He is also weighing in on twitter about what happened yesterday with Michael Cohen. He was the president s former attorney. And he said that he once said he was going to take a bullet for President Trump and now he is turning on the president and pleading guilty for lying to congress. Ed over a real estate deal that never really happened. Ainsley right, right. Ed potential trump tower in moscow. Ainsley moscow project is what they called it president was talking with folks over in moscow. They were trying to form or build trump tower. And the president is saying even if that were the case, even because because Michael Cohen said he lied about the dates. The president said even if he was correct, even we were doing this deal, i didnt do anything illegal. Michael cohen keeps changing his story. Which Michael Cohen do you believe the president tweeted this. Ed this is what the president s allies said from the beginning this is what happens with special counsels. The mandate was to focus on alleged russian interference in the election. Instead looking at business dealings and gone far afield. Brian what theyre saying is the moscow project was not a secret. What they are saying is and Michael Cohen said it and all the paperwork inside the trumtrump organization has already been turned over. He doesnt use email. Its all in paper and email. Thats been turned over. The Mueller Probe theoretically already had this stuff to begin with. Michael cohen is confirming what they knew is he was lying. Ed some big secret. They put it on the table. Brian who do you talk to and wants to set up this deal. Not even a political deal a business deal and when did it stop . It stopped, Michael Cohen says i stopped talking about it in january. Turns out there was communications until the spring of 2016. Ed thats right. Brian before the president locked up the nomination. Ed president tweeted it this morning oh i get it im a very good developer, happily living my life back in 2016 when i see our country going the wrong direction, to put it mildly, against all odds, i decided to run for president , and continued to run my business, very legal and very cool, talked about it on the trail. Lightly looked at doing a building somewhere in russia. Put up zero money, zero guarantees and didnt do the project. Witchhunt. He has made this case before. Now he believes that while many in the Mainstream Media are saying he is finally on the run. Now they are going after the president. Wait a second, guys, this was a business deal that never actually happened. Ainsley you would ask why would Michael Cohen do this . It is a plea deal. He is going to get sentenced and could get up to five years in prison by saying this and changing his story. By cutting a plea deal he could be getting lesser time by saying. This. Brian i dont know if you have ever bought a building in another country. Ed no. Ainsley nope. Brian or developed one top to bottom. Ainsley not even one in my country. Brian i dont think i have one in my portfolio i think it would have stood out because of paperwork i should have done and didnt. If you look back at what the president was interested. In soviet union, even thought there was potential in soviet union to talk about building is. They talk about in the 80 he and ivana, his first wife and went over to moscow and said we didnt get done. In the 90s lets get something done here. I dont know if you heard but didnt get done. In 2015 Michael Cohen went out and starts looking at moscow project with this guy named felix satter partner with the president in trump tower soho. Never got done just like that the bahamas and Cayman Islands didnt get done. Big picture what does this mean a constitutional law professor folly weighed in. Telling us how desperate mueller and his team has become. You know, after almost two years of investigating, spending millions of taxpayer dollars with the team of about 15 really aggressive exerptioned experiend lawyers there is no there there of trumprussia collusion. After going hard at highlevel trump confidantes and campaign officials, mike flynn, George Papadopoulos, carter page, Paul Manafort, rick gates and now Michael Cohen, the best they can manage to do is get single counts of perjury out of some of them. So, it shows you that these process crimes are all theyve got. They dont actually have any evidence of trumprussia collusion which was their mandate. Ed important point. I have been talking to people very senior in the trump world who have been telling me essentially Paul Manafort is in solitary confinement in virginia. He is there all day and take him out almost every day the mueller team for half hour, hour, and keep pressing him, pressing him. Can you say this . Can you say that . No, i dont have any evidence to that meaning collusion to that law professors point. Thats the same deal with Michael Cohen by the way. At least so far. We should caution that we dont know what else Michael Cohen told mueller. He talked to muellers team for dozens of hours. Based on what we saw yesterday, there is still no evidence of collusion. Brian right. Ed where this all started. Brian if the president came from the world of coaching or advertising they would be looking at connections to madison avenue or be looking at contacts with nfl owners. He has his International Business connections. Which prove a very big challenge for those who are trying to look at peoples background because, when you have investments in cutter. When you have investments in scotland and in ireland, as well as new york city and chicago, and florida, and his 18 golf courses, if people want to go through and find something that doesnt add up, you might be able to find something. I will say this. Clearly it shows, lets find out what course he knows. Lets find out what roger stone knows and Michael Cohen and Paul Manafort knows. See if we can create one story. The problem with the cohen story and trump tower meeting cohen was not involved with that at all. If you want to draw that circle, how do you do that when the person youve already shown as in the centercenter of this is not involved in that. Ed ainsley, what do you think . Ainsley im wondering about timing of all of this because he just turned in his written responses and all of this has come out. Michael cohen waited until after that to go down to the courthouse in new york. And lanny davis wasnt with him by the way. He had two other attorneys with him. Also, with the g20 summit, is there a connection there . I think we have mollie hemingway. We can ask her about this u mollie, is there anything to the timing of all of this. I dont know if there is a connection. I do remember that just before President Trump met with putin at the hell sink summit there was a round of indictments that happened at that time. They should come when they come and i think it is worth remembering that the reason this was set up to investigate treasonous collusion with russia to steal an election. So were getting all these process crimes, which is fine. You actually should if you lie to congress, you absolutely should be held accountable. We are not finding treasonous collusion with russia to steal an election. We are also having a problem where only one person who has lied to congress is being held accountable even though we have a lot of people who have done it even on the russia story. Christopher steele was given a criminal referral. Two senators did a criminal referral of Christopher Steele who wrote that whole russia conspiracy document. They know he lied to federal investigators and they referred him. I havent heard anything about it you have Glenn Simpson who was Christopher Steeles boss. He gave testimony that was in conflict what w. What bruce ohr a doj official gave. One of them at least is lying to congress. We havent heard anything about that. You have it should not just be that one person gets in trouble for lying to congress. Everybody should who does it. Ed what about kid gloves Hillary Clinton and cheryl mills and her team got in terms of whether her team was consistent. Hillary clinton, we know from the naacp Inspector General report that came out she lied to the fbi whether she knew how classified systems worked. They declined to charge her with a crime. Something they have the right to do. If you are going to go easy on one political party. You should probably go ease i dont know 00 other one or conversely have the same standard whether its one party or another. Particularly since in this case we have so much evidence of the fbi being engaged in a very political counterintelligence. Ed are you saying there should be equal justice under the law . Good way for people to have confidence in the fbi if they play it straight no matter who is in front of them. Brian so, mollie, here is what adam schiff, the protagonist against the president says if the president and his associates were being untruthful in realtime as they were pursuing this deal, what does it mean now about how much we can rely on what the president is saying about any continuing russian financial interest . What do you say to that . Well, i mean, if someone has evidence of something wrong, then they should bring that forward. But, in this country, we dont decide that someone is guilty and then go on a fishing expedition until they find something that they did. Again, its not that donald trump is a businessman that we need to find out. We already knew that we know is he a global businessman. What was alleged was treasonous collusion and not just this guy is someone we dont like so we are going to punish him and anyone who worked with him. Thats a very stalinist type approach to criminal justice. Its not how were supposed to do things in this country. And also, adam schiff did something that i thought was inappropriate that people didnt point out. Evidence said something about how the special counsel should handle the investigation u every time anyone on the right says anything about what the special counsel should do, were told this is obstruction of justice. Adam schiff came out and said that the special counsel needed to sit down and do an inperson interview with trump. Nobody said anything about that even though he is the incoming head of the House Permanent Select Committee on intelligence. So he should be careful when he is talking. Ainsley on that note, Michael Cohen pleads guilty and he thinks its going to help him because it will make the president look bad. To your point the left media goes wild and says the president needs to step down today. But if there was nothing illegal here, if the president , no matter if they were still talking about it in the summer in 2016, and the date did change, if there is nothing illegal, how why would Michael Cohen do this . I dont actually understand why he thought he needed to lie. I understand this really is a very political investigation and that makes people nervous, rightly so. But, you know, you should always make sure that when you are under oath you are telling the truth. But, all of these things that we have seen, almost everything related to the Mueller Probe. Process crime which is not the standard that we should be demanding for Something Like this. Or deals with stuff that was well before the campaign, you know, tax evasion from many, many years ago. And thats something you just want to be so careful about because it gives out impression that whats happening with this probe is that political enemies are upset that donald trump won and they are going to use the power of the state to go after people. Brian we saw that overstepping with the Clinton Probe all those years ago. Ends up with 60 plus percent sage approval rating. Mollie looking at argentina where the president is running a little late. They will make a formal announcement talking about the new nafta between these three countries. We understand secretary of state mike pompeo is there. He might be coming out real shortly. Real quick, this is pretty significant. What are the chances of ratification though . One of the things thats tricky about trade agreements you dont always know whats in them when they are debated and agreed upon by the country. Then you have to get it ratified at least in the United States. It seems like this is a very healthy updating of nafta. People forget how many decades ago that was signed there are a lot of industries that were not really well developed when the original nafta was signed. And also you had some real uneven disparities where, you know, labor laws in the United States are much more stringent than in mexico which gave mexico an advantage when competing for factories but sometimes their labor standards were so low as to be an unfair advantage. So evening out some of these problems is something that was high time to do. And it sounds like all three countries have done a good job making it in each of their best interest. And thats exactly what you want to make this a powerful negotiating block versus the rest of the country. Ed mollie, as we await the president s arrival there that live picture in argentina stay on it back to your point about the media and Michael Cohen, i seem to remember about a year ago when George Papadopoulos pled guilty to lying and as you say people should tell the truth on either side of the aisle when they are confronted by the fbi or congress. But, at that time, it was roughly october 2017, you people in the media saying papadopoulos is flipping on the president. Even though he was a low level advisor, the walls are closing in. And then he gets two weeks in jail. Its every single time there is anything like this were told well, this is it, this is the end of the presidency and almost comical even earlier this week we were told that there was we had a smoking gun bombshell which was that Paul Manafort had secretly met with Julian Assange three times in three years and nobody had detected it and somehow the Guardian Newspaper had figured it out. Well it turned out it wasnt true. As so many of these updates about russia are not true. And when you finally get down to it, again, its just these tiny Little Things versus what we were promised which was that putin had bought donald trump and he was in his debt. I mean, you dont have to be that smart to figure out thats not true just by looking at u. S. Policy over the last couple of years. We have been very tough on russia and even just in recent weeks were not happy with them and we are paving that way. Ed mollie, on that point do you acknowledge the president could have been toughery in helsinki. The president has helped with aid to ukraine which rush didnt want. Brian expelled multiple diplomats in this country. Ed he could have been tougher. He could have handled that situation much better. Its true we have had intelligence agencies playing games with this story since the very beginning. You might remember that they took seriously this, you know, frankly silly dossier. They briefed the president on it almost to threaten him it sounded like just before he took office. I think there is a reason why he doesnt have the most trust in these intelligence agencies just because they havent taken their role very seriously. They havent behaved in a way that suggests that they are worthy of some of the powers that they hold. And it has not rebounded to their benefit i fear. Ainsley mollie, tell us about what is about to happen . They are about to sign the usmca we are with mexico and canada. How significant is that . I think it is, you know, we have had a lot of trade agreements that we have developed over the years. In general they have been beneficial. That doesnt mean they are going to be beneficial in perpetuity. Sometimes you need to update things. This was something that absolutely needed updating. We were seeing that we had some we had lost some strategic advantages. We will need to go over all the details and make sure that its working well. But, its important, you know, for our position relative to the rest of the world that we have a good, strongs, north american block and we do. Its good. Its not just important for economic reasons. Its also important for foreign policy. We have a rising china that has so much strength and has been able to frankly take advantage of the we sort of treated them like they were a free trade country even though they are not and they have benefited from that we need to be strong against that and this is part of being strong. Brian what i also think is going to be significant, it turns out there has been high level talks leading up to this dinner meeting with president xi of china. So a lot of people say if there is no preamble talks and prerequisite talks, dont look for much to get done. It turns out there have been high level talks. And the president is pushing and pulling. One minute he is in. One minute he is out. Thats clearly a strategy. The World Markets are looking at this. The president has got to go, i think, at this point for complete vick tri in that he has got to reconfigure the relationship we have across the board with china. This is the moment or else we might never have this moment again. I dont know. We are in a good position now. We might be in a good position in the weeks or months to come as well. Everything that we kind of talked about i dont mean today i mean overall. This is the term, this is the era. We have talked a lot about trade war and whether its a good idea to get into a trade war or not. But the 25 tariffs that were initiated by this administration, it turned out to be, according to a recent study that came out of the eu, china is ending up having to pay for most of those tariffs. American consumers and producers are only paying for 4. 5 of those tariffs. Because they chose products that were really smart to choose, that worked better in our interest than it was in chinas interest. Those tariffs are hurting china quite a bit. I think they are probably ready to start talking. They might be ready to talk in a few more months he had and chinas economy is a perilous place right now. They are on defense. Thats what he has been saying is he on offense on this. We should note ivanka trump has sat down there in the front row awaiting for the president s arrival. John bolton the National Security advisor has arrived as well. Can you see ivanka trump thats a live picture right now greeting other dignitaries, a sign that the high level white house people are in the room now that we should be seeing the president and the other leaders. Ainsley Jared Kushner just got the highest award you can get from the president of mexico. Steve he ha ed he has been a lead negotiator for the u. S. Brian i think we all agree that we expected ivanka to have a good seat. She does seem to have a good seat up front in all of these things. Up front they will do the formal signing. Im wondering Justin Trudeau and president had famous riff g 8 or g. He left and he didnt like the communique at the end that Justin Trudeau said. The president rescinded it. They left without one. I am wondering if these things overall because i know the president doesnt take it personally. He gets over the rand paul rift. Marco rubio rift. Obviously the Lindsey Graham 1 . Here is your phone number. Do you sense, mollie among these leaders that its not they are understanding that its not personal for the president . There is the personality and then there is the deal. I dont know, actually, in this case. And Justin Trudeau seems kind of an emotional type world leader. But it is important that all countries work in their own national interest. Thats a thing that makes sense for negotiation. Its something that is very different about this current era than we saw in previous decades. What is happening in the United States is something that you are seeing happening all over the world where people are demanding that economic trade deals around just in the interest of the elite power structure but that they work for the workers in the country as well. And that people are thinking through how trade agreements arent, you know, they are part of a larger, national policy. And so i think youre seeing that change in some of the Global Leaders are from the old era and some of them are from a new era that reflects this understanding. Brian what you are saying so focused on the g. D. P. And other people focused on us. Dont tell me us what g. D. P. Is. We no longer making furniture and cars in this country. Textiles. Why are we dont tell me about this great deal. Middle class is paying the price. And they are feeling that all around the world. This is no question that free trade is great for we have known this for hundreds of years that tariffs hurt the economy. What i found interesting about Donald Trumps approach to this and his administrations approach is they are not seeking high tariffs in perpetuity. Seeking high tariffs to get to lower tariffs. Seeking high tariffs to come up with better trade agreements or deal with. So problems. For instance china steals intellectual property. Ed pardon me, mollie. Sounds like the president is being announced along with the leaders of canada and mexico. Ladies and gentlemen, the president of the United States. The president of the united mexican states and Prime Minister of canada. [applause] thank you very much. Were fathered together this afternoon for a very historic occasion. The signing ceremony for a brand new trade deal, the United States, mexico, Canada Agreement. So important. Im honored to be here with president enrake ka nieto. And canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. This has been a battle and battles sometimes make great friendships so its really terrific. With our signatures today we will formally declare the intension of our free countries to replace nafta with the usmca, a truly groundbreakinbreaking achievem. Modern day agreement. I want to thank yourepresentatib lighthizer and his entire team for their tremendous effort and the efforts they have made all throughout the last almost twoyear period thank you as well to Jared Kushner secretary of state mike pompeo. Secretary of the treasury Steve Mnuchin and director larry kudlow for their hard work and untiring devotion throughout the negotiation process. Peter navarro. Usmca is the most modern trade agreement in history. All of our countries will benefit greatly. It is probably the largest trade deal ever made, also. In the United States the new trade pac will support high paying manufacturing jobs and promote greater access for american exports across the range of sectors, including our farming, manufacturing, and service industries. As part of our agreement, the United States will be able to lock in our Market Access to canada and mexico and greatly expand our agricultural exports, something we have been wanting to do for many years. This is an amazing deal for our farmers and also allows them to use cutting edge biotechnology and eliminates nonscientific barriers. Our nations have also agreed to innovate. New measures to ensure fair competition and promote high wages and higher wages for u. S. And north American Auto workers. The auto workers are tremendous beneficiary. Under the usmca at least 75 of our automobiles, content must be manufactured in north america. And 40 to 45 of automobile content must be manufactured by north american high waged labor in order to gain preferential access to our markets. This will help stop auto jobs from going oversees. And it will bring back auto jobs that have already left. Many, many jobs are already planning to come back. Many companies are coming back. And were very excited about that. This landmark agreement includes intellectual Property Protection that will be the envy of nations all around the world. The usmca also contains robust new provisions on digital trade and Financial Services and the most ambitious environmental and Labor Protections ever placed into a major trade agreement anywhere at any time. We have dramatically raised standards for combating unfair trade practices, confronting massive subsidies for state owned enterprises and currently if you look at it, currency manipulation that hurt workers in all three of our countries. The currency manipulation from some countries is so intense, so bad and it would hurt mexico, canada, and the United States badly. We have covered it very well in this agreement. These new provisions will benefit labor, technology and development in each of our nations. Leading to much greater growth and opportunity throughout our countries and across north america. In short, this is a model agreement that changes the trade landscape forever. And this is an agreement that first and foremost benefits working people, something of great importance to all three of us here today. President , i must say pena nieto and Prime Minister trudeau we worked hard on this agreement. Its been long and hard. We have taken a lot of barbs and a little abuse and we got there. Its great for all of our did you know tries. Thank you for your Close Partnership throughout this process . Knew agreement will ensure a future of prosperity and innovation for mexico, canada and the United States. I look forward to working with members of congress and the usmca partners. And i have to say its been so well reviewed i dont expect to have very much of a problem to ensure the complete implementation of our agreement. Enrique, i want to thank you on a personal note, and i want to wish you the very best. This will be your last day in office, so thats very auspicious day when you can sign something so important. But we really do appreciate it i think i can speak for justin when i say that. [applause] [cheers] [applause] we both agree he is a special man and he has really done a good john. We appreciate it very much. Thank you. Thank you. So i just want to congratulate you on ending your term in office with this incredible milestone. It is really an incredible way to end a presidency. You dont see that happen very often. I look forward to working with president elect lopez we have had great conversations i think we are going to have a great, great relationship. I would now like to invite the president and Prime Minister to say a few words and perhaps we can start with justin and we appreciate it very much. Justin, please u. Goonk, thanks for being here and thank you to President Trump and nieto. Thank you for your words and pulling this event together. Enrique, this as donald said on your last day in office its a wonderful pleasure to see you and to be here on this historic moment. [speaking foreign language] [speaking foreign language] brian we saw the president of the United States make his opening remarks walk out and salute president nieto as his last day is today after a sixyear term he is term 4reu89e limited out. He has english and french speaking canadians. Repeating himself. Thats why we are jumping. In canada feels as though there are more things to work out at the usmca there are still some details here. Im wondering if he alludes to that. Ed the president made clear he got a good deal. Kelly craft the u. S. Ambassador to canada. She has been working on this all along. Bob lighthizer. Lets go back to him. Uncertain at this that would have only gotten worse and more damaging had we not reached a new nafta. But, when faced with this challenge, canadians came together and rolled up their sleeves. Canadians from every order of government and walks of life put their countrys interest first and worked hard to achieve a new modernized agreement that will protect jobs, strengthen of middle class and correct new opportunities for businesses. [speaking foreign language] ed so you can see Justin Trudeau the Prime Minister of canada going back and forth going from french to english. We will have the translation for you. We have Stuart Varney like to dial in. His critics said all along you cant renegotiate nafta its never going to happen it happened. Another example of him saying he would do what he said he would do. Right from the moment he declared his candidacy for the presidency, nativity tax we are going to renegotiate that and he has. Now we have usmca and i think it is a trump win. America gets a lot out of this. Especially access for our farm products. Dairy products in particular in canada pushing for it for a long time we got it in new deal. Ainsley explain what that means. Canada has protected farmers, especially Dairy Farmers. We wanted to break down that protectionism. We did. America got through. What we got was more access for our Dairy Farmers and other farmers into the product in canada. Ainsley i think he is speaking english again. Lets watch. Resilient, strong of canada wants total exports is secure. And thats essential for businesses, families, jobs, entrepreneurs, and hardworking people in every corner of our country. As i said, the task isnt done. There is more hard work ahead to build resilient strong economies that support families everywhere in canada. As i discussed with president a few days ago, the recent plant closures by general motors, which effects thousands of canadian and American Workers and their families are a heavy blow. Make no mistake we will stand up for our workers and fight for their families and their communities. And, donald, its all the more reason why we need to keep working to remove the tariffs on steel and aluminum between our countries. [speaking foreign language] brian so the president just president trudeau just brought up hey, donald, why dont we get rid of the steel and loom tariffs that alus you put on. Those tariffs on steel and aluminum are still there this agreement does not cover steel and aluminum tariffs. Brian why not take them off. As you heard from Prime Minister trudy he want trudeau s them off. That is going to be negotiated. Its not yet been ratified by our congress. Its not going to be ratified by the current congress. We have to wait until the new Congress Takes effect in january. Thats when the ratification vote will be taken. Ed Democratic House but more republican seats in the senate. Ainsley it cant be ratified now in lame duck. Its not going to be the agenda is so crowded. Ed were going to listen back in. [applause] the president of the United States donald trump Prime Minister of canada Justin Trudeau distinguished members of the delegates is joining us today to you both i would like to thank you for your generous remarks. The last day of my administration, ladies and gentlemen, members of the media. During the last day of my administration as president , i am honored to be here standing next to the leaders countries who are friends and partners in this signing ceremony of the new trade agreement between mexico, the u. S. And canada. The agreement that he would will sign today expresses the shared will by our three nations to Work Together towards the wellbeing and prosperity of each one of our societies. This day is the culmination of a long process based on dialogue and negotiations that allow us to overcome differences to con sill United States our vision. Once signed, the agreement will be cents to congress for ratification. It will be then when this innovative bears fruit by offering a more Inclusive Firm on modern foundation for our future exchanges the negotiation the usmca allowed to reaffirm the importance of economic integration in north america. For more than a quarter of a century ago. Our three countries have maintaining very tight trade relationships trade has transformed mexico. Today our representations abroad represent more than 70 of our gross domestic product. This has contributed to the fact that today the benefits of trade with the world are broadly valued by the mexican society. Rebalancing the trade agreement was aimed to preserve the view of an integrated north america with a firm belief that stronger and more competitive. And take advantage of each countrys potential. The United States, mexico and Canada Agreement gives us a renew you had face to the process of integration thats process achieved on the first place to modernize our trade framework. They cannot be static. Trade agreements need to move along with the economy and should be according to the needs of our society. The inclusion of new trifingprovisions on ecommerce, Information Technologies and trade enabling practices are now part of the agreement. In fact, 1 3 of the agreement includes topics not included in the current agreement. The renegation of the agreement allowed our region to move into a more inclusive integration, a type of integration that listens to the demands of our society. 24 years ago nafta set a new benchmark for trade agreements back then. Today, usmca is the ed listening to the president of the United States along with outgoing president of mexico and canada hagel this new trade deal. Brian choosing to be the guy. Is he out. Why not let the new guy. Ainsley if you are going to go out, go out on a good note. Brian he wants to get the credit. Technically still his gig. Have other guy there. Ainsley is observobama ains what side is going to come down on steel and aluminum tariffs for example. I dont know where he stands on that. Brian it was to get them to the table. He brought them to the table, why are they still in place . I dont know the president s school of thought with that . This has been the negotiating process thats gone on for months. They have got some things settled like auto tariffs, for example, like Dairy Farmers. They wanted me to get this signed before pena nieto. Ainsley when they do sit down and discuss they are talking trade right now. This relationship can also talk when they talk about caravan and granting asylum in mexico versus them coming to our country. The incoming mexican president security crisis at the border on the mexican side of the border, with all the caravan people arriving by the thousand in tent cities. Thats a problem that obrador has to deal with. Brian you can start bolstering up southern border. Help our borders on the northern side. Sure, thats long term. Brian that could be tomorrow. You can put some troops down there. You can throw up fences. Ainsley on the mexico southern border you are talking about . Who is going to do what with those caravan people who are now living in squaller conditions on the other side of the border . Is america going to ante up more money . Is mexico going to do that . Who is going to take care of this problem . I dont know at this point. Ed sometimes these g20 summits can be a snoozer. We are seeing a kickoff with a big wins a you said a moment ago for President Trump. I will let you this is the most important g20 meeting in a decade at least. Ainsley why . Ed sets the table for the meeting with china. He is the trump show. He is the man of the hour. He has a changed relationship with every single world leader whether its china or russia or europe or mexico and canada, there is a changed relationship. Here it all comes together. They are all in one place. Brian now we understand after nieto has just wrapped up his comments. They will open it up to the press and maybe take some questions. Ainsley looks like they are going to go over and sign. Get the pens out. Ainsley is there a reason they would put our president in the middle number one economy . I would guess so, yes. I would think. So. Ed listen in to see if they have anything to say when they sign. Listen in. Which is the one i have passed . Each 6 us get of us get a c. Sounds very good. Excellent. Thank you very much, everybody. [applause] thank you. Thank you very much. Brian about to see they are not going to take any questions. All going to leave. As we are watching this. The usmca gets signed new nafta. I will wonder how many more times we want to se are going te this. Reconfigure with japan, eu. South korea. Really big trade deal obviously comes on saturday night when President Trump and xi jinping of china sit down and they break bread together and then on sunday morning we are expecting some kind of announcement. What happened at the dinner, whats our future trading relationship. May i go out on a limb . Ainsley yes. Ed please. Brian save something for your show. Okay, i will. I think there is going to be a truce. I think there is going to be a ceasefire. I think they will order up a ton of our product to even out the trade imbalance. Maybe we wont go forward with the 25 tariffs that were going to levy on january the 1st. We are going to keep talking. We have an architecture of framework. This is how we are going to go forward. That would be a positive development. Ainsley is this our last opportunity to do that because 25 goes into effect on january 1st. Most important opportunity. I mean, if they dont get some kind of deal here, maybe those tariffs go on january 3rd and thats a problem. Brian here is what i dont want to see happen. China brought into the point feel the strain economically. Actually feeling pressure and our economy outlines of our debt is going extremely strong and counter to the rest of the world. I would hate to see the president sign something prematurely because this cohen thing and some bad news at home. There is not going to be a signing ceremony. Its goings to be an announcement and continue talking. The pressure on china is economic. Their economy has stalled and thats very bad news for an autocrat like xi jinping. He doesnt want to go into the 2020 election with a real serious trade war on his hands with china. He wants to get some solution going here on his terms but the pressure is on to do a deal of some sort. Ed the markets on monday are going to be rocking if there is a truce. We would have a very good gain on market if there was a truce. If they shout at each other and walk off. Ainsley why is that a bigger deal than signing this trade agreement. Because america and china are the number one and two economies in the world. They are the largest trading partners in the world bar none. When they have a trade dispute, the whole world suffers and feels it so its very important to get something done. Brian whats also interesting on this whole trip would be come up with the economic deal that china would be the big things. The markets would be affected. Even though Vladimir Putin meeting has been called off, as i see the secretary of state and National Security advisor walk through, and john kelly as well, they have to. Ainsley Jared Kushner and ivanka. Brian send a message to russia. You cannot stand and international waters. Aggression against ukraine. He has to do what president obama and president bush were not able to do push back on russia and make them respond. I suspect that the rest of the world would approve of push back on russia. Ainsley smart of him to cancel that meeting with putin. I guess so, yes. Thats the way diplomacy works. Do you that and we are not going to meet. There thats whats going on there. Brian as the price of oil goes down. Russia feels the weakness they are a gas station. Im sorry this is my favorite story. The price of gas oil is tumbling and gas is absolutely falling out of bed. Down 51 days in a row. Your average in america is now at 2. 49. As i keep saying, there are 21 states in america where you can buy in at least one gas station 1. 99 gasoline. Can you believe . 1. 99 in 2018 . Its here. Ed remarkable. Brian this is quality time we usually dont get with you. We like you. I was hoping there was breakfast. Brian certainly earned it. We will join you 9 to noon on fbn. Thank you, brian. Brian President Trump just signed a new trade deal with the leaders of mexico and canada. Pete hegseth standing by on what this means for the president s America First agenda. Thats pete with gel. [laughter] delicious 100 real chocolate embracing the lightness of crispy rice. Crunch. Brian moments ago President Trump signing the president of the United States mexico Canada Agreement in g20 in argentina. Symbolic ceremony with counterparts from those nations. Ainsley the deals replacement of nafta now faces final approval from congress. Ed bring in fox Friends Weekend cohost pete hegseth with his reaction in simi valley in california. You see replica of air force one. What say you about the fact. Pete good morning. Ed you heard for months and months we heard going back to the campaign of 2016. The president cant renegotiate nafta. This is a foolser rand he is not going to get his way. Here we are with a deal that looks pretty good for america. Pete thats right. Did he it doing his way. Art of the deal style threats, pushes in, pulling back. We will be in the deal. Out of the deal. Its the same approach with china. I know we are going to talk a little bit about putin and not having a meeting there. But this g20 is all about china, all about our economic relationship there. Brian, im with you. I dont think we can tinker around the margins of this relationship and come home with some sort of a papered over deal that makes us feel good temporarily. I think this is about a strategic realignment with a geopolitical foe. We are in a economic cold war with them. How we do in the next couple of months and whether we win that cold war will determine whether or not we have a real change in relationship that is advantageous to the American Worker and putting America First which has been the load star for this president. Brian i way i understand it inside chinas policy we want to see what happens in the midterm with the president and how weakened he is coming out of this. See what the American People think about this approach to world economics. And the more powerful senate by losing the house they say he is here to stay. They reconfigure you had this deal. They have unprecedented weakness but still have great strength. Thats why you could maybe call a truce on the next set of tariffs but you have got to go for complete victory on reassignment now. They will never be as slurenel. Vulnerable. Pete no he wont. He is making a calculation about the 2020 election. At this point would be a miscaucus bmiscalculation by the president. Medal to pedal on a stair down with them. On the tariffs you could hold back at some point if you need to on leverage. Now is the time for strength. Im reminded here in the Reagan Library the guy who coined the face peace through strength. It was barack obama who allowed artificial islands to be built in the South China Sea and naft gable waters by the crimea to be seized with no ramifications that weakness is where we get bad outcomes. Thats why its probably the right deal not to meet with putin. Although he could have met with him and stared him down as well. Staring down china on trade will be the legacy of this g20 and potentially the next couple years. Ed good stuff, pete. Ainsley you will be out in california tomorrow doing the show from there . Pete yes. We have the Reagan National Defense Forum this weekend. Hosting fox friends from here. I will be on a panel as well. A lot of you can catch on fox nation. Ed get some sleep. I am on east coast time have you got to get some sleep, buddy. Pete its early. Im going back to bed. Ed geraldo here to react new trade deal and Michael Cohen as well. Thats next. Ainsley steve is live in nashville at kid rocks new restaurant and man of the hour kid rock himself. He is going to join him live. Looking good, steve. Wow. Brian steve is the man of the hour. Ainsley President Trump signing a new trade deal with canada and mexico. With our signatures today we will formally declare our intention forethe three countries to replace nafta, a truly groundbreaking achievement. Brian tijuanas mayor is aiming at the caravan. Theyre dealing with lies. Brian President Trump slamming former attorney Michael Cohen pleading guilty to lying about a proposed trump project in moscow. Very simply Michael Cohen is lying and he is trying to get a reduced sentence for things that have nothing to do with me. So much evidence the fbi being engaged in a very political countier intelligence investigation. You have so many trees here, so many hallways to decorate. This is theme of american treasures. Brian probably cant hear us but there is big sign saying we came all the way from South Carolina to hear ainsley. Ainsley here she is. Im coming down to see them. Im getting ready in hair and makeup. One of our awesome security guards. I was here 11 00. A ladies were on a girls trip. Is ainsley here. No come back. She will be here tomorrow. I think theyre from aiken. Ed you heard rid cob music on the way in. Steve in down in his new restaurant. Brian we asked him to go there and he never looked cooler. Ainsley great look, steve. Steve thank you very much, answerly, brian, ed. Im in nashville because my wife and i do book signing at walmart in the town of franklin, 6 00 p. M. Tomorrow were in alabama. Guard dendale at 3 00. There is my ride. Theyre here. Because i am in nashville. It is a beautiful suit. It is manuel. I wear it very well, right . [cheering] but you know who wears it better. Ladies and gentlemen, give it up. Its kid rock [cheers and applause] how are you . Is a big dale. Talking about you coming on fox friends for years. Today is the day. You have a beautiful heart on in heart of nashville. Im all hopped up on coffee and baileys. Steve you have baileys here . A little bit. Tomorrow is a big day. You are being the grand marshal. Were expecting some weather but hope we get through it. Steve who will be riding with you . My beautiful granddaughter sky here. [cheers and applause] is that not the most precious thing you ever seen . Steve so many people, bobby come today to be with us. Well talk to you extensively about your plans. You had a busy crazy year. Well talk to folks and you in about 20 minutes. But in the meantime, so many people have come here today. They have driven for hours overnight et cetera, because they dream of one day being on stage, am i right, with kid rock . [cheers and applause] ladies and gentlemen, this is your dream come true. Everybody, it is sipping along with kid rock. Hit it back there. I was born free, i was born free brian if this is nashville in the morning, imagine what nashville is at night. Ed at midnight. Ainsley i thought this was city that never sleeps. That is such a fun city. Ed rock the jacket, without the shirt. That is how kid rock does it. Ainsley i know, right. Ed maybe a little tshirt under there. That is it. Brian that that is a great pla. I saw it before it opened. Geraldo rivera knows what it is like to be born free. Ainsley geraldo, you didnt drink coffee and baileys, right . Ed we have another rock star, geraldo. If that is breakfast imagine what dinner is like. Ainsley we are love you to death, we want to talk to you about trade, and that trade deal was signed. How important is that for this president and this administration . The significance of it, ainsley, here we have our businessman president , renegotiating a deal and Getting Better terms for the United States. It is the art of the deal. This is what his expertise has always been. To see it come to fruition with. It also heartens the whole idea of these bilat ral deals. Now lets deal with japan and independent United Kingdom and with the eu and with our partners here in the western hemisphere. This is the president at his business. This is the president as a businessman. Ed while he deals with this, geraldo, he back home has to deal with new developments in the mueller investigation. Wall street journal had a story, roger stone being zeroed in on Robert Mueller. Yesterday we saw a new plea deal with Michael Cohen. Where do we stand with all of that . Michael cohen is really in a lot of trouble. Lets focus on what Michael Cohen is really facing right now. He pled guilty to lying to congress. What was the essence of the lie . The essence of the lie is Trump Associates were in fact dealing, trying to get a tower built in moscow. At what point did those negotiations end as the president s meteoric candidacy for the presidency ascended . Michael cohen up to now dealing that the dealings with russia ended in 2016, 2016, before the president s momentum began gathering. Turns out Michael Cohen lied, that the business dealings about the moscow tower lasted until june of 2016, well into the campaign, after the president had already gotten momentum and was the clear favorite to obtain the nomination. Makes it a little queasy in terms of when the president dropped the negotiations. Nothing illegal that you can build a building, can have a tower, but it is clear the president s business interests with russia continued well into the campaign, not to january 2016,. Ainsley if that is not illegal, geraldo, why is Michael Cohen doing this. Why is Michael Cohen lying . Ainsley, therein lies the peril. Don, jr. And others in the family also testified before congress. It seems though, as if the others, don, jr. And others given truthful answers to congress. Why Michael Cohen tried to lie, whether to curry favor or put the best possible spin on president s dealings with moscow we dont know. But Michael Cohen pled guilty to lying before congress, led to other guilty pleas. I know the guy he is kind of a schmooze sy kind of guy. Im sorry he is in a jam and facing a grim future and trying desperately to get a deal to get the most mitigated deal possible. Brian trump handed over millions of documents. Showed three people, president , Michael Cohen, two others involved with this, never came off. Geraldo you know better than most, your success in business, maybe not as well as donald trump you think . He was looking speculation in the bahamas, Cayman Islands. He has 18 golf courses. He has two in ireland. Has a hotel in qatar and one in turkey. All the time they make you deals. Would president be better off saying moscow project im working on, i might go back to there if i lose. The truth is always the best alternative, brian, no doubt about that but we have to stress the fact that the president is legally entitled to do business up until he is assumes office with anyone he wants to. There is nothing illegal. Once again there is amana for the guilty plea that has nothing to do with the president of the United States. This is about Michael Cohens problems, my calico hen lied. He got caught in perjury trap, just like general flynn lied, like some others lied. Not that they did something illegal, it is never the crime, it is the coverup. That is what you had in this case, Michael Cohen trying to spin the story. Ed it might pop up in cleveland in the days ahead. Im sitting in it. Ainsley have a good weekend . Thank you. Ainsley jillian has headlines. Jillian a Massive Group of people inside the studio all waving. This is fox news alert. Ainsley the United States canada mexico agreement or usmca as brian said will replace the nafta. Ed kevin corke live on the seen in buenos aires with what happens next. Good morning, kevin. Reporter the president said sometimes battles make for great friendships. That is certainly the case as it relates to the battle over the usmca. Finally signed by the leaders of the u. S. , mexico and canada. The president hailing the signing in beautiful buenos aires as a win for the American People. He said it is also a victory for our neighbors to the north and to the south. We worked hard on this agreement. Its been long and hard. We have taken a lot of barbs and a little abuse. We got there. It is great for all our countries. I look forward to working with members of congress and the usmca partners. I have to say it has been so wellreviewed i dont expect to have very much of a problem. Reporter president talking about the idea of getting this over the finish line through congressional lawmakers. Earlier today mexicos president pena nieto awarded the country highest honor to a foreigner. Order of the aztecs eagle, to Jared Kushner, the president s soninlaw for his hard work to get the negotiation over the finish line. One other thing we took note of today canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeaus comments a need to keep working. Obviously reference to heavy tariffs placed on canadian steel and aluminum. We talked a great deal about that. They would clearly like that to change. But at this point everyone seems happy the usmca is signed and in the books at least without congressional approval. The president seems very confident that will happen. One other thing before i let you go, a full slate of action for the president. In addition to a bilat ral with president abe he has meetings with the leaders of india, austria and cultural event tonight that should make for interesting day in buenos aires. For now, back to you. Brian kevin, thanks so much. One of headlines emerging, using content from Justin Trudeau. I want the aluminum tariffs lifted. He wants that done. The mayor tijuana, mexico sitting down with an exclusive for fox news. Ed he said he has never seen anything like this. Thousands of migrants camping out in the city, trash on the ground trying to gain eptry into the u. S. Brian Griff Jenkins has been there the entire time with the caravan. He joins us in tijuana. Hey griff. Reporter you can see the trash everywhere behind me. The rain made it much worse. We want to give you a quick look inside what the mayor calls a humanitarian crisis that is costing him some 30,000 a day. The people that youre looking at in here are suffering from 60 of them have a respiratory flulike symptoms. There is lice infestation. There is tuberculosis. There is all sorts of issues in here. At the end of the day the mayor blames the organizers of this caravan for it, listen. Those are really criminals because theyre dealing with lives. Dealing with people. It is a federal crime. If you ask me, do you know who they are . No, i dont know, just look at the films. Look at them, and who are they . Reporter aside from the actual situation that he has with the organizers, look at the situation now. I want to bring you back on camera, the water has a baby stroller, all of the problems here. The mayor says that he has seen migrants for years but nothing like this. Listen. Were a migrant town, griff, yes, but we have never, never, never, had this problem. No migrants trying to cause trouble. All migrants came in peacefully. Some of these people came, coming in violently, unrespectfully. Not as a good, law abide citizen. That is what hurts us. Reporter he worries we might see migrants getting desperate, rushing the wall. Sundays mayhem cost 6 million of trade with the shutdown. I asked the mayor, with President Trump signing the new trade agreement, what would the mayor say to President Trump if he had a chance to Say Something . Here is what he told me. What would i say to him . Lets build bridges, bridges of understanding. We dont care about the wall. The wall has been there for years. Reporter mexico inaugurates a brand new president , president obrador tomorrow. Mayor gastelum hopes the new mayor in mexico help him out. Ed griff, appreciate it. We moved into a neighborhood where you lived, do you remember what the welcome gift you gave me was . Oh, absolutely. It was a total toilet. Steve he gave me a toilet. And it changed your life. Steve craziest thing. I was thinking what else would kid rock give somebody. Not like you give them a keurig. You hit a button and steve wait, wait. It is genius. Steve it is quite an operation. You are such a patriot. You have got on your garage door, the american flag. Yes i do. Steve where does that come from . My love of america . Steve thats right. Pretty simple. I guess the way i was raised. I still believe in living in the greatest country in the world. Im very fortunate to be able to, you know, work hard and enjoy all the fruits of my success, help others out along the way. Just generally, the people that love me, got bless them, the people hate me, understand, no matter what is going on im somewhere having way more fun than you are. [cheers and applause] steve you mentioned how you were raised. Your mom and dad are here today. They are. Mom, dad, sister, my son. Steve you are the grand marshal of the Big Christmas parade in downtown nashville. No. My daughter is the grand marshal. I get to ride with her. Steve that seems about fair. You know, you were involved in a little talk about politics, maybe running for senate. All part of a publicity thing in the last year. What about, when youre done with the rock and roll thing . Would you think about getting into politics . Oh, if i have enough to drink one night i will think about it again. I think im best served on the sideline being a cheerleader for our troops and our veterans and performing for them. You know, just maybe try to pay my taxes. Just be a good american. [cheers and applause] steve now you dont know this, back in the studio, but bob showed up about an hour ago. He took a picture with each and every person, more than one person i heard say, you entertained me when i was overseas, fighting in iraq. Yeah. Young lady back here. Saw you in iraq. I said god bless you. Thank you for your service. Thats always special, always special. Steve why do you do that . You could just live out in your fancy houses you have all across the country. My fancy trailers. Steve you do have a trailer home here in the nashville area. We live in doublewide trailer in nashville. It is very, very nice doublewide trailer. Steve i have seen the pictures online. It looks great. When you talk about going and entertaining the troops, you do weigh in on politics from time to time. How is the president doing . I think the president is doing a great job. With his policies. I wish, you know, i heard you earlier in a bumper asking people what was their biggest concern and mine would be just, the division in the country right now, it is so hard for people to get past we can disagree and still be cordial with one another. You know, just talk about things without going for each others throats and protesting everything and god forbid you Say Something a little bit wrong, youre racist, homophobic, islam phone big, this, that other. People need to calm down, less politically correct. Love everybody. I say screw that joy behar bitch. Love everybody. Steve you cannot say that. I mean lady. Steve we have apologize for that. I mean lady. She has a different point of view than you do. Exactly. Maybe well go on i hash it out with her, talk about. Aside from joking which i was, hash it out with people, have your thoughts and ideas but, be able to still go have a beer with somebody, hey, we all love this country. You know, lets have different ideas but try to move forward, be more together, realize at the end of the day were allamericans. Steve were all americans. Nothing wrong with that. [applause] thank you very much for inviting us here. You apologize for that language, right . I did apologize for the language. Not the sentiment. Steve we apologize for both. Bob ritchie, kid rock, thanks for everybody coming out today. [cheers and applause] back in the studio. Ed bob, steve. Brian i know where im going in nashville. Right there. That looks fantastic. Ed a party at 6 36 local time 7 36. Ainsley we do need to apologize. We dont feel that way about joy behar. We dont condone that language. Ed jill wan with other headlines. Ed ed former attorney for President Trump Michael Cohen pleaded guilty in ha deal he cut with Robert Mueller. President trump claims that cohen is lying to get a weaker sentence and calls him a weak man. Ainsley does this get it closer to collusion. Brian cant wait to talk to judge jeanine pirro. This is the name of her book, liars, leakers and liberals. 9 34 Michael Cohen walk out of the courtroom. All cable channels are hyperventilating what it means for donald trump. What does it mean legally . Nothing. Brian nothing . Nothing at all. It means absolutely nothing. So why did he do it . Because they forced this is what happens. People dont remember everything. People say things that they cant exactly remember. And then the prosecutors come in say you willfully lied. You said this before. Then you say, gee, maybe i forgot. Im not sure. Well you have to come up with a reason. Why did you lie . I was trying to align with his messaging. Here is the bottom line, donald trump is the one who provided this information voluntarily to mueller regarding the russia attempt at the Tower Development in moscow. Donald trump was not involved in the negotiation. His team goes in as they always do, whenever they go into a country to try to develop a building or a hotel or whatever it is that theyre building t didnt work out. He didnt do it. Let me ask you this. If the russians were really intending to own donald trump so that they could get access to whatever they want in the United States, they would have made such a sweetheart deal for donald trump, that donald trump wouldnt have had a point or choice other than to make sure that deal went through. It didnt go through. They ended it kaput. Its over. Now Michael Cohen is a liar. An admitted liar in financial court, Campaign Finance and debt, all that nonsense. Nobody is talking about tax at this medallions which is the issue they could have sunk him big time. What do they do . Make it out there is russia collusion. There is no russia collusion in the dossier. There is no russia collusion in the donald trump meeting at tower. There is no russia collusion here. You show me how the fact that Michael Cohen said it ended, honestly ended in june of 2017. Brian not january. Not january 2016 i was off by six months. It doesnt matter when it ended okay, because nothing came of it. And, it doesnt influence anything. It doesnt show that the election was affected, that votes were affected, that emails were affected. Brian judge, ask you something, knowing that it is ridiculous. Brian i talk to nine different people they agree with you. They do . Brian legally i see what youre saying if the president is asked multiple times about russia, one of the projects im working on moscow project. Talking about it since the 80s. Never got off the ground, would that have a better answer than i dont have any business interests in russia . No. Ill tell you why. Because he doesnt have a business interest in russia. That is the bottom line. He does not. In truth i can say, you know what . Ive always wanted to have a pair of shoes from that store over there. That doesnt mean that im anything with them. That i get them or i bought them. It doesnt mean anything. He wants to build all over the world. He is donald trump. All right . Need i say more . But the reality is, when you put that shovel in the ground or the pen to the contract, thats when you got a deal. Ainsley it wasnt, even if he had done a deal or been talking to them, his argument is, that was in 2016. I wasnt president then. That was legal. Im a businessman. This is what i do. Until you elect me president im not going to change what i do. I am doing it legally. And if there is something wrong, then you tell me but there isnt. Brian lastly jerome corsi, roger stone talking to Julian Assange, talking i deny it. Emails back and forth. Some want to draw a circle, Julian Assange, emails to make hillary look bad, donald trump look good, he has a moscow project. They are trying to make that circle clearly. What is your response . My response do whatever you want to corsi and stone. Corsi dont want to plead guilty intentionally deceitfully lying. This is what prosecutors do. I was a prosecutor for 30 years. This is what they do. They get someone by the short hairs and they pull. They say you lied. You lied about a material fact. That is willful deceit. The guy starts shaking in their boots because they dont want to go to jail, lose their family. Their family will not have any income. Okay, yeah i lied. I didnt mean to lie like michael flynn. I didnt mean to lie. I made a mistake. This is what they do. When adam schiff says now we have to look into this, what are you looking into little adam . Ed little adam.
