On saturday morning, Authorities Say 46yearold Robert Bowers killed 11 people here. He entered the building with three handguns and ar15 style semiautomatic rifle. They say he used all four weapons in his rampage. An fbi affidavit quotes him as saying during of the rampage they are committing genocide to my people. I just want to kill jews. The u. S. Attorney has now indicated that he has started the process to seek the Death Penalty. Meanwhile, for the first time now, survivors are speaking out. Barry werber was only feet away from the gunman inside the synagogue but he miraculously went unnoticed. He didnt see us, thank god. The only thing i had in my hand was a cell phone and its a dumb phone so it doesnt light up when im talking on it. We were standing here at immigration check point between those two towns. You can see they are not checking anything. Letting them pass and go about their business. Whats interesting is the little town where they are going has a population of 4,000. And so the caravan by conservative estimates is still 4 or 5,000 strong. So its literally the size of the town. And we have talked a little bit with some of the officials. The National Mexican sort of Health Officials saying with these small town they wont have the resources they need. You see them going by. [speaking spanish] they say mexican president. [speaking foreign language] so thats just a very quick thing. They dont want the offer of mexico to get some asylum in these Southern States where we are. They were going to mexico city where some may decide to stay. Although there is no offer from the government there. But most say they are going to go to the United States, despite the constant admonitions from secretary nielsen, President Trump, and the administration. A pair of brothers. Their family calling them inseparable. There they are right there. Ainsley also, David Lee Miller is in pittsburgh. Is he live. The communities trying to pull together during this horrific ordeal. Good morning, david lee. Good morning. The u. S. Attorney here says he is now starting the process to seek the Death Penalty for 46yearold Robert Bowers. Authorities say Early Saturday Morning bowers shot and killed 11 people at the tree of life synagogue. And when committing mass murder, he shouted, quote i want to kill jews. Bowers faces dozens of charges and will have his first appointment with a court later today. And for the first time as you mentioned, some of the survivors are now speaking out. Survivors like barry werber, who witness dollars the deathwitnessed the death ofhis. The door opened and we could see a shaft of light. A swath officer came down and got us out. And i had checked mels pulse after most of the shooting was done and he was gone. I could tell he was dead. Outside the tree of life synagogue, there is now a makeshift memorial, 11 jewish stars. They were put in place yesterday afternoon. A rabbi from the synagogue says this community will recover. We will continue to thrive and sing and worship and learn together. But we will not be broken. We will not be ruined by this event. In this tightknit community it seems almost everyone knew someone who was killed in this mass shooting. The Authorities Say that later today mr. Bawshz is going to be in court before a federal magistrate. Meanwhile, the names of those who died were published on the front page of the local newspaper. As it has been said, death is a process, not a state. Back to you. Brian all right, David Lee Miller, appreciate it worth being said. I know we understand it for Law Enforcement, one minute you might be asked to give directions. The next minute you might be helping someone on the side of the road. Next minute get a call running into the hail of gunfire in a synagogue. Whatever have you with you, thats your defense. Its just amazing what Law Enforcement is asked to do on a regular basis. Steve and a number of them ran toward the gunfire and a number of them were injured as well. When you look at what happened, there in pittsburgh, it is just so disturbing because murder in a holy place. It was there for, i believe, a brisk. Brian a naming ceremony. Ainsley the president ordered the flags to fly at halfstaff. The president was speaking in indiana. Before i speak i would like to have a pastor and rabbi on stage with me giving a prayer to the people who were listening. And the rabbi, both of them did a phenomenal job. The rabbi was on with us earlier. This was his message that americans should still we should unite against evil but also rally around our god. Listen. Were divided in many ways. Its true. But there are other ways in which we are united and one of those ways is in our contempt for this sort of hatred, for this sort of senseless violence. The best way for us to counter this sort of thing is by making that clear. Joining arms, whether its literally or figuratively and standing up against these acts of hatred. Did you nothing to forward your cause. What democrat is happy with those scenes. That doesnt show courage it shows you are absolutely oblivious. In keep in mind in terms of these midterms i get it, 8 million have already voted. Its the largest early voter turnout that we have ever had. Looks as though greatest turnout since 1914. Great news for the country taking part in the process. This is not taking part in the process. Steve of those protests we saw only one during the moment of silence. Afterwards Marsha Blackburn said how despicable you cant even have a moment of silence. In all that person right there, seven protesters were forcibly removed from this particular rally for Marsha Blackburn. Lindsey graham was in attendance. There you can see one the protesters as you can see tangling with a cop. Ainsley i dont think the majority of americans would agree with these protests, im glad her sony against it shouted at me during my rallies. Not during a moment of silence for the 11 People Killed in synagogue. Jewish people had been through so much they deserve the respect of the country during a moment of silence. This protester should not have stood up and calling her a white supremacist. Steve dan bongino had this observation. We are supposed to take civility lessons from radical far left . Fringe group of people that do really dumb things. But i expect today the Democrat Party and especially the democrats in tennessee, excuse me, where that race is happening, to loudly denounce this kind of absurd, outrageous behavior in the name of civility. We did see a poll that has howlehawley up by 4. 3 point bump from last week. That moved him ahead in real clear politics 2 points. Clair mccaskill is always tough to beat in missouri for republicans. They havent been able to do it. It looks like she is really up against it this year in a way she hasnt been in the past. Steve up on the big board in arizona the senate race you have sinema just satellitely behind Martha Mcsally. This has been n neck. This has been neck and neck for a long, long time. We have had a recent poll there put cinema up by three points and mcsally suspect on our average but not by much. Less than a point. This is a coin toss. Interesting. The governors race is not much of a competition, doug ducey is rubbing away with it. Not lifting mcsally the way you might have expected this race is really really close. Steve House Republicans need to win all the districts that donald trump won in 2016, right . If they do that, they will pick up a couple of democratic seats and be able to hold. We 30 tossup races in real clear politics rankings right now. If republicans can hold on to 18 of those, they will hold the house. There is about five tossup seats in california. They there are a handful in minnesota. Indiana im sorry, iowa and illinois. And we have a couple races in upstate new york. Some of those are districts that trump won in 2016 and some of them are districts that clinton won in 2016. If republicans win 18 of those 30 tossup seats they will keep control of the house. People want smaller families. People had, eight, nine kids, it was more common. A lot of families want more kid but afraid to because theyre saddled with financial debt. Most of it is Student Loan Debt that couples have. It makes them nervous about taking the plunge. Stephen mowser, the president of Population Research center, why dont we offer student loan forgiveness if you will, people having three or more kids . Because we need the workers. We need these kids to become the future workers to pay for entitlement programs, baby boomers retiring. Theyre living so much longer, the baby boomers. We need these workers. We have to replace them this is one of the suggestions. I think its a great one. I think more could be done in the tax code to, you know, promote families formation which is really necessary. Ainsley, you know in europe, they have even lower, much more, many more problemses because their birth rate is even lower than ours. What they have done, theyre importing workers through immigration programs which is fine but it comes with its own costs. There i the cost of a simulation. People were very hungry. A fight broke out the night before over hunger. You can see these folks trying to feed them. They have tamales and crackers, rice and beans. The folks are absolutely grateful for that, as they come. You look back over this way, you can see up there the federal police, and local police kind of making sure everything goes okay. As you see people getting out in the distance, they will come over here and get something to eat. Now this isnt where theyre trying to end up for the day. Theyre trying to get to another town, miltipec, that is another very small town. Actually small as caravan. 4,000 population in the town. 4,000 plus in the caravan. Theyre stopping every chance they get to get something to eat. This is instance of mayor, a little bit, in spanish, trying to help migrants, mostly from central america, get their way to the u. S. , even though u. S. Officials said mexican officials like the mayor should not help them get to the u. S. Because they wont be let in. Guys .
