Youre not going to solve the problem with an election system that has problems between now and the election. Go out and be there to report on it. Be out there to correct things when they happen. And ive been an acquaintance of donald for 30 years. The discussion that were having in this campaign is completely and totally off point. If we have, in fact, become a 140 character society, then our situation is grim. Im sure you were watching a couple of weeks ago where everybody made a big deal out of the fact that donald trump lost close to a billion dollars in a real estate deal and now theyre saying he didnt pay taxes. Is that fair . Weve now extended the fact that someone had a tax loss Carry Forward to the fact that theyre personally responsible for not taking care of a troop in the field. Now, that kind of extension is propaganda. When you look at both parties, i know theyre polarized, but you look at whats been happening behind the scenes at the democrat side, Debbie Wasserman schultz had to lose her job because of the wikileaks stuff that came out that revealed they were pulling for hillary and bernie didnt have a chance. When you get into a process characterized as we have just been mentioning, normal civility goes away and all of a sudden the folks that are part of that process, when the process has been degraded, begin to think that certain things are okay. Yep. That are not okay. Well, while youre a little cagey about who youre going to vote for, your neighbor, Sheldon Adelson, hes all in on trump. I respect Sheldon Adelson a lot. But he is black and white a republican. He is. And im more of a guy that plays the face. Ive been a registered democrat, ive supported probably as many republicans as democrats. Im a proponent of a more efficient government. I know you supported barack obama. I voted for him once. Once, not twice. President obama seems in his populous rhetoric to have not acknowledged the fundamental truth of this history of civilization. The only thing thats ever created a better life for any human has been the demand for human labor. The more demand for our labor, the better life we have and conversely, when there is none, we starve. I know, steve wynn, you would like to back a winner. So who is it going to be, trump or hillary . At the moment, i would tend to vote based upon the Supreme Court possibilities. In order to bring the United States and all of its various parts, latin, skin color, religion, back together again, we have to come up with common ideas we can agree on and there are a hell of a lot of them and theyre just not being discussed. Hes got a huge deficit he has to make up. Now then, in terms of what donald trump is going to be talking about tonight, hes going to be talking about Ethics Reform, draining the swamp, trying to get back on policy. If he chooses to, you know, continue to embrace his strategy of a scorched Earth Campaign and bring that to the debate stage, shell be prepared to handle that as she has the last two times. What we have seen is when he does do that, the character of Hillary Clinton revealed to voters is someone whos quite capable of standing up to him and defending american values. As weve seen at these debates, these candidates have an opportunity to bring special guests. Tonight mark cuban, the billionaire businessman, will be there for Hillary Clinton. He has, of course, been a thorn in the side of donald trump. And meg whitman from california. Perhaps a signal to republicans around the country you can vote clinton if you want. And have somebody with business support. All right. Mike and john, thank you very much. As john just mentioned, theres a bright spot for donald trump when you take a look at the latest fox news poll thats just come out with independents. Shes gone down a couple numbers. I believe shes gone down four in the last week. And he has gone up three. Where did that come from . Well, each other, a little bit. But gary johnson has lost two, and dr. Jill stein has lost five. So people have been shopping around for maybe a third party, didnt like the people at the top of the ticket. Looks like theyre starting to perhaps focus in on one of the top two. So far this week, trump. Independents are going to choose this election. Hes doing better with independents than the others. The others have gone down. Hes gone up. The only issue that donald trump grades out higher with the polls. When people are asked on the fox news poll most important issue facing the country, the economy has 24 . Terrorism, 18. Health care, 8, which im sure donald trump wants to focus on because of the implosion of obamacare. Climate change is 7. Thats a favorite topic amongst democrats but not amongst americans. And at the very end, foreign policy, 4 . Keep in mind she was former secretary of state. So does that help . Dont know. The current secretary of state, and this is kind of a headline, apparently john kerry has been leaning on the country of ecuador. Hey, you got that wikileaks guy holed up in your ecuador in london. Pull the plug. Hes got all this embarrassing stuff out. You know what ecuador did . They pulled the plug on wikileaks. That did not stop them. Obviously theyve got thumb drive, stuff like that. Still granted asylum to julian assange. So basically that has not stopped the 11th or 12th raft of information thats come out, which seem to be authentic emails from people like john podesta especially, some of which are really insulting to Bernie Sanders. Heres some things you can look at in todays dump. Podesta listed vp candidates but characterized them in a very interesting way. He put them into essentially gender food groups. And racial groups. This is something that would bug the people who are supporting hillary and did like bernie. Podesta called Bernie Sanders a doofus in one passage. Also, the campaign found gender pay gap at the Clinton Foundation. Really . Men make more. And the advisers said dont mention israel. The democrats get the americanjewish vote for reasons that mystify me. When they become president , theyre not treating israel well. Then you have Hillary Clinton who doesnt have that great of a track record. And behind the scenes theyre not showing respect. Proisrael. Thats usually the Republican Party. I wondered that too. Keep in mind, this wikileaks stuff would be the biggest story in the world had the democrats not brought out these accusations against donald trump. He said it was politically motivated and time for maximum damage. When you look at the volume of the wikileaks stuff and how ferocious some of it is, say, well, there could be something to that. Trump says its rigged. What do you think . So the question is, does donald trump understand this is the bottom of the ninth and hes got to hes trailing by six, seven points. Does he understand hes going to come out here and hes going to be asking specifically about his economic plan, about the deficit. You know the way Chris Wallace operates. Theyre more about bashing each other versus really getting down to the actual situation and what were concerned about. Id just like to hear about the issues. Im really sick of of them arguing. Just really ready for the election to be over with. Just basically be done with it. You know what, we have discovered theres a lot of frustration among the millennials. Here to talk about that is the Washington Examiner contributor, lisa boothe. Joining lisa here in vegas, Fox News Contributor and democratic strategist joe trippi. It sounds so much better when you say it. I know. All right. So what do the young folk, the millennials really what are they interested in . The number one thing for donald trump is jobs. They need jobs. Is that it . They do need jobs. If you look at the youth unemployment rate, its so high for Young Americans graduating college. Not only that, the average College Student is facing 35,000 in student loan debt. So there are big problems facing millennials and facing recent graduates. So i think they want to hear about the issues. I think they want to hear about how theyre going to turn this economy around and create opportunities. I was at the airport yesterday talking to a fox news fan. He was talking about how hes going to vote for trump but his son is going to vote for hillary because hes going to graduate with a Great University this year with 14,000 in college debt. The kid believes that Hillary Clinton is promising to erase the college debt, so thats how shes going to wind up with his vote. Well, shes been able to at least get some part of her message out with that with the college education. But its not true. Well, shes got a plan. Trump doesnt. Okay. But i do think, look, a lot of the frustration here is this is a generation with their whole future ahead of them. Theyre not feeling very good about that. Theyre not seeing a lot of information from either candidate. Thats what i was trying to say. Hillary clinton at least broke through with some of her policies, but trump hasnt been able to. Neither one really had because of just how negative the campaign has been. Thats why i think in the debate, if youre going to talk to millennials, its got to be positive. Its got to be about jobs. Ill tell you what, lets take a look. We have more sound from millennials over at the college campus. Here they are on the candidates. With hillary, the big thing with her is i was in the military. I dont know if theres a lot of trust issues there. With trump, theres a lot of temperament issues. I think that donald trump has only shown himself to be a bigot of sorts. Im hoping a little bit more substance out of trump and less bs out of hillary, i suppose. Okay. So it sounds like a tie. I think a lot of these College Students are seeing an election that has been very much in the mud and there hasnt been enough of talking about the issues. Hopefully the candidates will get to that tonight. To joes point earlier, i think thats why part of the reason neither candidate is doing exceptionally well with millennials. Nobody is meeting the margins that president obama did. He did exceptionally well with Young Americans in 2008 and 2012. Neither candidates are. To joes point quick on the free college that Hillary Clinton is offering, the Federal Reserve bank of new york has done studies and found that every dollar the federal government puts into the system, colleges raise tuition by 3 because they know it will be subsidized. All right. Joey . Look, i think whats really interesting is you have Hillary Clinton, 68, trump 70, trying to reach millennials. One of the advantages hillary does have is shes got ambassadors that can talk to them, barack obama, michelle obama. Trump, part of his problem is not only that hes always on the attack hes got ivanka trump and his kids. Hes got his family. Thats about it. I mean, you dont have rand paul or paul ryan or who out there thats an ambassador. Plus, hillary has the entire Mainstream Media. Its a little lopsided. Somehow Bernie Sanders resonates with Young Americans. It doesnt make any sense. Im just saying, shes got they both are kind of not likely people who can appeal to this generation, but she does she has some people out there that can. I dont see i agree ivanka, but not many beyond that. One of the things about being out in the desert is its very dry. They have this phenomenon called vegas throat. People care about the economy by a wide margin. Second is terrorism. When hes asked about your plan, how you change the trade deals, how important is it to have two or three things he would specifically do as opposed to make them better or make them great . I think youve got to set out the direction you want to go. I dont think that look at Hillary Clinton, for example. Every answer, she says, look at my website, ive got a plan. And look at Miss Universe and what she said about donald trump. Exactly. She wants to talk about everything except the issues and everything except the change the country needs because she doesnt stand for change. She stands for more of the same. If trump makes that contrast really clear between his change and more of the same failed economy thats not working for you, then i think you got a chance. In terms of specifics, i think its not about having endless plans for every issue under the sun. Its having a few big things that will really make a difference to peoples lives.
