Rachel to promote his agenda and celebrate Brett Kavanaughs pete got a new Supreme Court justice, in case you missed it and im sure you didnt he was confirmed yesterday. The president gets on air force one, literally signs his confirmation on the plane of air force one, lands as rachel said in kansas. Just saying the word kavanaugh brought the crowd to their feet. Listen to president yesterday. I stand before you today on the heels of a tremendous victory for our nation, our people and our beloved constitution. [cheers and applause] the biggest thing is a president can do, theyve always said, is Supreme Court justice, the biggest. [cheers and applause] weve had two in less than two years. I guess, you know [cheers and applause] radical democrats launched a Disgraceful Campaign to resist, obstruct, delay, demolish and destroy right from the beginning. In their quest for power, the radical democrats have turned into an angry mob. You dont hand matches to an arsonist, and you dont give power to an angry, leftwing mob. Republicans believe in the rule of law, not the rule of the mob. And he also laid out, listen, if you want rule of law, remember, thats what he ran on in the 2016 campaign, rule of law versus rule of mob. And this week the left really did a good job of showing what the mob looks like and what theyre willing to do in terms of dirty tricks in politics and also shouting down Death Threats to our members of congress and really kind of tearing down our institutions. The president laid that out, and i think thats a decision people are going to have to make in november. Griff he did. I mean, the history, you cannot overstate the history of Brett Kavanaugh being appointed to Supreme Court. But it was rooted in the president s willing to face that mob, take em head on, head first, and in doing so, inspired Mitch Mcconnell to do so and then, ultimately as i mentioned yesterday, even Susan Collins finally said, you know what . The democrats have crossed the line. Theyve gone too far, and thats why she had that great quote which is when you become too hysterical, fairness goes right out the door. Pete you made this point last hour, so i like to steal your best points [laughter] and use them as my own. Conservatives and elsewhere you have wanted a cowt faithful to constitution, this truly is that moment. And no one thought it would be that businessman, donald trump, but it took someone who was willing to fight, didnt back away from a nominee who had been totally smeared. And ultimately are, as a result today, its five wrong camera side 54 on the Supreme Court, in favor of conservatives. And that means your Second Amendment rights are safe, your freedom of speech, the religious liberty, the rights of unborn children. This president delivered on. Griff we should take a sunday morning before you go to church pete think about that fact. That is a huge victory for this country. Griff thats right. If you look at really what the conservative think tanks, the Heritage Foundation, have talked about, they all heark back to president Ronald Reagan and building a shining city on the hill. A conservative court, a strong military, a booming economy, fair trade deals, hes delivered all of them. Rachel when i think about some of the never trumpers, and we all have them in our lives, what more do you want . Pete never drum possessor seem to be what trumpers, never happy. Rachel eric holder, heres what he had to say about Brett Kavanaughs confirmation. He put a tweet out. It said with the confirmation of kavanaugh and the process which led to it and the treatment of Merrick Garland, the legitimacy of the Supreme Court can justifiably be questioned. The court must now prove through its work that it is or worthy of the nations trust. Very interesting. Already setting up the delegitimacy of the Supreme Court unless, you know, roberts or somebody else on the court votes the way the liberals want. Okay, then well say its legitimate. Pete look out for that. Theyre going to start pressuring roberts to become the new kennedy and the swing vote. Well see what happens there. All you can do is nominate someone you think is good. Griff its not isolated to eric holder who, by the way, the former attorney general youd think would not go so strident on matters of legal fairness. But youve also got Dianne Feinstein who was the Ranking Member on the Judiciary Committee challenging the legitimacies of the court that she just went through the process. Pete we have one institution that americans generally trust to be fair rachel but thats sort of a socialist thing, tear down these institutions. I think its important, why Brett Kavanaughs seat is so important to them, why this fight was so important to them that they were willing to do just about anything to take him down, and that is because the left doesnt like to win or cant win on their ideas, on the power of their ideas and arguments, so i they use the deep state and the courts to get what they cant do in the elections. And so with this vote being so crucial, thats why pete its pivotal. And earlier on the program, this is what Andy Mccarthy had to say. The fact that they hold high ranking positions doesnt mean theyre not part of the hard left, and the argument doesnt make any sense. For example, i think the Justice Department is a legitimate institution. The fact that when eric holder was Deputy Attorney general, he used it to carry out the corrupt pardon of mark rich doesnt mean to he theres something wrong with the Justice Department, theres something wrong with eric holder. Thats kind of the way politics works. Pete and elections have consequences. Griff maybe eric holder is going to rub to run for president. Rachel the president s got a whole list of people hes dreaming about running against. Im dreaming of those candidates. I see those candidates before my eyes. Every night before i go to sleep. David, im going to ask you three questions out front so you dont get ahead of yourself, who won, who lost, and will the never trumpers admit this president has delivered on that agenda . First start, who won in this confirmation battle . Clearly, President Trump won and the American People won. President trump promised during the campaign of 2016 to deliver a great constitutional conservatives to Supreme Court and to federal judiciary, and he has delivered on that. It is an enormous victory and an enormous week for the president. Unemployment at 3. 7, a 49year low, wages increasing by almost 3 , this week you have the renegotiation of the bad nafta deal. And bringing canada into that mexico agreement, another great victory for this president. So, yep, his win just continues. I dont think hes getting tired of winning, but he might be close. But, look, we also have lindsey graham, and we also have Chuck Grassley as huge winners this week. Pete yeah. Pivotal moments during the hearing, pivotal moments for the chairman to lead this process, Mitch Mcconnell, another enormous winner. The never trump movement, the establishment has come together over one issue, and that was Brett Kavanaugh. One issue has galvanized this movement, if you will, and brought everyone together, and i think 30 days before the election this Midterm Election its so vital that that we keep this up. Because if you look at the chaos, lets go to losers. You look at the chaos, the mob mentality of the left, thats all they have, the anger and the hatred. They have nothing else. They have no agenda for the American People. So if you look at what theyre about, if you and you transform that, you look forward to november election, that is what you get. You get more chaos if you elect democrats to control the house. That is all youre going to get is your investigations and undoing what the president has attempted to do. You would see them just putting him on a pedestal. But they cannot get themselves, they cannot get to do that because they dislike him personally. It is really a disservice to conservative movement because theres a lot of these folks that are just disingenuous now. And you look at this Jennifer Reuben whos a socalled conservative at the Washington Post, thats the fake news right there. Shes not a conservative and hasnt been in a long time. And i have to say in the more than quarter century that i have been covering grassroots conservative politics can and the larger political scene in the america, i cannot remember a more consequential moment than this weekends confirmation of judge kavanaugh, and my hat is off to President Trump because i cannot think of any other politician this modern history in modern history, whatever letter they have by their name, who could have withstood the onslaught that President Trump did in standing by this nominee. The tactics that we have seen of the left by any means necessary ideology perfected over the last three decades has never been pushed back at the way the president did. And it is because of his own unique biography and independence from the beltway establishment that allow this moment to happen. Rachel michelle, youve had your pulse on the base for so long. This is something thats always frustrated you about republicans, that they always crumble, they always get weakkneed when they hear sexist, homophobic, misogynyst, racist. And this is youre right, this is a big moment. Do you think republicans are learning from donald trump on how to fight . They better be, and i think that we saw some of the beltway Senate Republicans more emboldened than weve ever seen them before. And the contrast between the rule of law and rule of mob really is the ultimate theme of the midterms leading up until 2020. And it is probably the most unifying theme that we have been able to define over these years. Because whether youre an economic conservative, more of a libertarian or a social conservative, this is the bedrock unifying principle that is going to drive people to polls. Its not just about the rule of law and the rule of the mob, its about reason versus rage. And in large part, seeing how the democrats have not only overreached, but also overscreeched, its really about whether you choose to live in an america that embraces peace and prosperity or these pink hats and profound profanity and, yes, insanity. And we want to look forward because the court is now a 54 constitutionally conservative majority. Yes. Pete however, you say theres some things we need to look into as well about this process. Yes. I called this week for a Serious Investigation of the Senate Democrat wrecking machine. Even in the wake of this victory, there are still a lot of Unanswered Questions about who on the Judiciary Senate committee among those democrats were handing out the Senate Gallery passes like pez canty to likes candy to likes of piper perabo and the hundreds of people that were interrupting the Senate Judiciary hearings from minute one, day one, second one of the hearings. And i think that there should be an investigation of the protest orchestration as well as those leaky leaks. And, ultimately, the accuser procurement machine that i believe existed between the Senate Judiciary committee, i believe senator Dianne Feinsteins office is and all of these soros satellite groups that obviously were doing this for months and months in advance of the late hits that failed. Griff well, its not even a guess, michelle, because we saw cory booker openerly encouraging them openly encouraging them to behave that way. Let me get to one other thing, and that is you have a message for all the mama bears concerned about their sons. Whats that about . I do. I do. You know, i have joked that for my sons upcoming 15th birthday that i should buy him a body cam. And theres a very serious message here about protecting our boys. And i have a boy and a girl. And i believe that my girl is pretty well off because, you know, youve got all of these radical feminists on these college campuses. Griff, you mentioned youre doing the College Visit tour. I just sent my daughter off to college earlier this summer. And theres plenty of resources for them. But what about our boys . And, you know, short of having them wear body cam, they have to be or very, very cognizant of the fact that these kinds of false allegations of rape or sexual asaw salt ruin assault ruin lives every day. You have to be careful about who you associate with, and you have to know that you cannot simply trust that your good name and good character is not going to be p ruined in a second by people who have a lot of incentives to lie whether its political or financial, revenge. And that is something that the radical feminists will not acknowledge, that these kinds of false allegations are common. They are not rare. And that kind of propaganda ruins everybodys lives. He was never interviewed by the fbi. The fbi investigation was absolutely a complete sham. It was, ultimately, something where the fbi was told they could only interview nine people. Do you think that the politics of today, the divisiveness of it, the so much of the men versus women and the way its being set up by the left, is it infecting peoples dating lives . Im happily married, so i just dont know whats going on out there. Im happily married too, but i have friends in the dating scene, and they would probably say yes because politics hases become this moral be issue, particularly on the left. If you are on the left, you believe that a conservative is not just politically wrong, but that a theyre a bad person, that theyre a bigot, a xenophobe, all of these things that that theyre not. And i think that that really makes dating difficult when you feel like as a conservative you have to defend your morality for believing in, i dont know, low taxes and smaller government.
