On fox friends, will it be ed, will it be pete . Do i have to make this . All right. Watch it, pete. [cheers and applause] [laughter] winner. Abby youre good. Did you sleep at all last night . I am so excited about this victory. Its almost like the masters when youre in the lead and you wake up sunday morning, im the leader at the masters. You know, ive got to keep it. Theres so much nervous energy, but in this case i actually won, so i cant lose now. Pete you did. Hes a cinderella story. We asked the crowd on the plaza who do you think will win, and almost unanimously, it was all for pete, and after the first putt, they all went to ed. Ed i didnt want to rub it in, so i wore a green tie, you know, the whole tradition at the masters pete didnt want to rub it in. Listen, i thought it was a gimme putt, i felt good about it, and there you go. Ed you stabbed at it. Pete but you nailed, i gotta give it to you, a clutch putt the whole before ed to tie it. Abby you had some green on, but the masters are today, and the ultimate symbol of success is the green jacket. I think you need to wear this green jacket throughout the show. E ed that would be rubbing it in. Abby do we have some music . Pete youve earned this. Your whole life has led up to this point. Does it fit right . We had it measured for you. Ed actually it turn the out that it actually abby thats nice. [laughter] [applause] pete ed, you earned it, brother. [laughter] you earned it. If id known a jacket was in play, i might have lined that putt up a little more directly. Ed its masters sunday, so im going to wear it. Oh, wait, maybe it wasnt concern. [laughter] wait, there was a hankie. Pete maybe ed knew about this. And i didnt at all. Abby well, congratulations, ed. Ed we did set him up. All right, we have a lot of news. I cant bask in glory all day. Pete you will. Ed i might. [laughter] abby what sport should we do next that you think pete could win . Pete that i could actually win. Ed lets do it. Abby there is a lot of news to get to this morning, and the big news this weekend is the National Guard on the border sealing up the southern border, that is exactly what the president tweeted. He said we are sealing up our southern border. The people of our great country want safety, they want security. The dems have been a disaster on this very important issue. Ed president sees this as something to bring to the midterms. I mean, a lot of democrats sorted of rolled their eyes in 2016. Its being package rated by the president package rated by the president as a candidate, and yet he rode it to victory in part. I think there are republicans who believe with this being an uphill year for them in the midterms, that this issue of immigration may be something along with the tax cut that can help them. Pete its a defining issue. Its an issue that draws a contrast, because they feel like democrats have invested in the open borders, the sanctuary state narrative. And if not every democrat, then the National Democratic party especially those in california. Were going to have some of the architects of the sanctuary state policy on the show today to challenge them on that view. But President Trump views this as a National Security issue. I mean, this is ultimately, i mean, it almost feels like too much, but it isnt. Its an invasion of Illegal Immigrants. We have jobs that need to be filled in this country. Lets be strategic about how we fill them as opposed to who can run across the border and a chain migration process that brings their family as well. Hes saying if Congress Wont do it with a wall, then im going to send the troops down there and do something about it, and i think voters will respond to that. Abby most importantly, how to we help the Border Patrol do their job best . Theyre the ones on the front lines, and there seems to be at times a disconnect between what theyre doing and how the americans feel about whats going on, what they actually know the reality is. Pete the difference between perception and policy. Abby brandon judd, president of the National Border control council, he says this is about the safety of this country. Here he was last night on waters world. That louse us to go after what the actual problem is which are the criminal cartels. You see the left politicizing this issue all the time. We want to stop talking about this issue. We dont want this to be a 2020 debate. We want to once and for all secure the border so we dont have to continue to sit here and say, well, we need this or we need that. We know what we need, give us what we need. Lets get the republicans behind this president , give him what he needs. We will secure the border and its over. Ed i mentioned the politics abby in order to get this right for us to really make some moves on immigration, youve got to have democrats and republicans come together. I dont know if thats possible, if you can actually be effective if the democrats arent willing to come to the table, but i wish that they would. Pete you want to have it over. The point is to solve the problem. And part of that problem is dealing with the daca recipients, but you also have to seal the border, or youre going to come back to the problem again. You wonder whether democrats want to solve it because theres a political incentive to not solving it. Ed right. Because weve sent National Guard troops in the obama and bush administrations to the border, and were still where we are now. Abby the president tweeted about the border yesterday but also tweeting about whats going on with the fbi and the doj and how many republicans on the hill feel theres a lack of transparency and a lack of speed. Heres what he tweeted yesterday abby what does the department of juse and fbi have to hide . Why arent they giving the requested documents unredacted to the House Judiciary Committee . There are a few Different Things here, ed. Ed yeah, absolutely. Hes talking specifically about Bob Goodlatte, the chairman, the republican chair of the House Judiciary Committee. He issued a subpoena, i believe, on march 22nd for a lot of these documents about the clinton investigation. What did the fbi know, what did the Obama Justice department know, and i think the public is demanding this information, some transparency. Abby hes saying theres 1. 2 million documents that they should get from the fbi. Theyve only so far gotten 3,000. The deadline was thursday at noon. Ed right. And people at the Justice Department are telling us, look, they are working around the clock, and and were supposed to get maybe up to a million pages this coming week. So under pressure from the president and others, we may abby and theyre reading through them to redact what they find could be sensitive information. Pete thats right. I think there was resistance to releasing this information because politically they were worried about what it might look like. Under this administration you get a sense talking ed, as you said, political appointees and others at the Justice Department they want to release it. It takes time, you have to look through it all, you have to redact things that are proper. But i love the fact that congress is finally asserting their power as a coequal branch. They have the oversight power. So much happened that shouldnt have politically, and i hope that more is produced and more quickly. So i love the fact abby so goodlattes asking for information on the clinton investigation, also fires at the fbi. But then theres another one under devin nunes and the intelligence committee, and he wants information on fisa warrant surveillance that they got ed right and how much was antitrump dossier used to get that surveillance of carter page, a former trump adviser, being spied on basically by the Obama Administration. And so were going to have devin nunes on the program here next hour. And is hes going to tell us what he thinks about what the Justice Department has turned over, what they havent turned over, what he still wants to see. Abby i think the big question there is did they have good enough evidence to get surveillance on carter page. Pete yeah. We want to see the actual application, and now members of congress other than just the committee are going to be able to see out thanks to the Justice Department allowing a broader view which is all i mean, we can ask for more than that, but its a good start. Abby all right, some headlines i do want to bring starting with a fox news alert. One person is dead and six firefighters hurt after a fire rips through trump tower right here in new york city. You can see the flames there shooting out from an apartment on the 50th floor. Art dealer todd brasner pulled out of the home and unfortunately later died. No members of the first family were there at the time. President trump tweeting about the blaze and thank the firefighters for a great job. Also this morning the u. S. Demanding russia and its support for the syria regime after one of the worst Chemical Attacks in history. Heartbreaking pictures showing children gasping more air in the attack that killed at least 70. More than 500 others injured. A rebel group accused the assad regime of dropping barrel bombs. The government denies any involvement and this, of course, comes after last years serin are massacre which prompted airstrikes against the Syrian Air Base. Also a top lawmaker questioning our military following the fourth crash this week. Chairman of the House Armed Services committee Max Thornberry calling fridays deadly Helicopter Crash heartbreaking saying, in part the readiness of our military is at a crisis point. Two soldiers killed when their apache went down during training at Fort Campbell in kentucky and all seven Service Members died in crashes this week. And a sunday showdown taking shape at the masters not here on the plaza, but the actual plaza. Patrick reed holding onto his lead entering the final round. [cheers and applause] how about patrick reed . Abby the 27yearold american now at 14underpar and a threeshot lead over rory mcing i roy. Rory mcilroy. Ed watch for mcilroy. He can make a run. Abby i thought you were on team reed. Come out of nowhere. Ed i like him abby kind of like you, ed, no one expected. Pete they saw the putt i nailed right here. Ed youve got to do it in the game. Pete youre saying im a gamer. Ed the only guy that looked better in a green jacket was arnie. I dont think thats true. [laughter] pete ive got to put up with it all morning. Ed weve got new informationed today, tom fenton has been on this case for years, hell tell us what he wants to hear from this interview tomorrow. Pete plus, couples argue all the time about doing chores, but which one is most likely to ruin your relationship . Abby thats a great question. Dishes. Pete dishes . Taking the garbage out. Is that the one . I dont know. Well see. Come on dad higher higher parents arent perfect, but then they make us Kraft Mac Cheese and everythings good again. Im your phone, istle text alert. Stuck down here between your seat and your console, playing a little hidenseek. Cold. Warmer. Warmer. Ah boiling. Jackpot. And if youve got cutrate car insurance, you could be picking up these charges yourself. So get allstate, where agents help keep you protected from mayhem. Like me. Mayhem is everywhere. Are you in good hands . Not picking on the attorney general, Loretta Lynch who i like very much, but her meeting with president clinton on that airplane was the capper for me. I then said, you know what . The department not by itself credibly end this. Ed it was enough to raise suspicion for thenfbi director james comey, and now the former attorney general is ready to address what happened during that tarmac meeting. Judicial watch has been demanding to know since 2016, so what is it that their president is expecting lynch to say . Tom fenton is here live now. Good morning to you. Good morning. Ed what do you want to know . As we all remember, this happened in the heat of the 2016 campaign, and Loretta Lynch oversees the fbi among other key agencies, and theyre investigating Hillary Clinton. And her husband, the former president , decides to jump on the same airplane. They just happened to be on the same tarmac, and they allegedly talked about golf and grandkids. And it was just a few days before Hillary Clinton was supposedly to be interviewed, if you want to call it an interview, by the fbi and Justice Department attorneys. And Loretta Lynch admitted it cast a cloud over the information. Investigation. James comeys book is coming out, so im sure shes trying to get ahead of that. Hes great at pointing fingers at others for misconduct, and the Justice Department was a mess under Loretta Lynch. This meeting was an indication or an example of the way it bent over backwards both in appearance and in fact on behalf of hundt and the clinton regime while at the same time, remember, this is around the same time they were beginning the targeting of donald trump. Of Loretta Lynch has a lot of questions to be asked not only on the meeting, but on the fisa as well. Ed so a lot to unpack. Lets start with the clinton investigation. So in the clinton investigation, what would be you mentioned that james comeys about to come out on a book tour. He may say i felt pressure from Loretta Lynch to shut this thing down. What would be the stakes . Maybe that bill clinton, it turns out, didnt just talk about grandkids, might have raised something about the investigation and whether it could go away for Hillary Clinton . You know, the fact the meeting took place shows you, told Loretta Lynch that the clintons were in control. And secondly, were there discussions of job offers, was there an offer to make Loretta Lynch attorney general or keep her as attorney general, was there an offer for a Supreme Court slot or Something Like that . We dont know. You dont talk about grandkids for 20 minutes, even those who have grandkids know in a business situation its rare to go on more than five minutes or so. Ed sure. I just dont believe the initial explanation. And, ed, we have the talking points. The problem is theyve been redacted by this Justice Department. More of the same in terms of coverup, in terms of what went on during the Obama Administration about these corruption ed tell us about these talking points after the meeting that were prepared for Loretta Lynch . What are the talking points . Paragraph after paragraph of talking points prepared by their press people, and it looks like Loretta Lynch may have received a copy of them with talking points right after the meeting. And, of course, you know, the fbi had documents we had to force out of them. They lied about having documents. They still have documents they dont want to give us. Its still coverup mode on this meeting which is very interesting. Why hasnt Loretta Lynch been called to congress or before a grand jury in a significant way about this . Ed i bet Congress Also wants to know about fisa address. We have deafen newspaper yes, sir next hour devin nunes next hour, well can ask him about that. Thank you for your help. The founder of bet is saying it is helping africanamericans. Watch. Whats happening in the labor force and the job market. When you look at africanamerican unemployment, youve got to Say Something is going right. Ed something is going right. Well break down the economy and more with Charles Payne coming up. Plus, what will our National Garden troops be doing once they actually get to the border . The man who oversaw the bush era deployment is here with some insight next. Ed back with a green jacket edition of the headlines. President trump coming to his epa chief Scott Pruitts defense saying hes doing a, quote, great job. The president said in a tweet while security spending was somewhat more than his predecessor, scott pruitt has received Death Threats because of his bold actions while saving the usa billions of dollars. Meanwhile, Florida Governor rick scott expected to throw his hat in the political ring for u. S. Senate tomorrow. The republican would be taking on threeterm democratic senator bill nelson which will help determine whether the republicans maintain control of that chamber at the end of this year. Big deal. Pete . Pete thanks, ed. Well, the National Guard deploying to the southern border with jim mattis signing off on orders to send up to 4,000 troops. Abby and despite backlash in the media, trump isnt the first president to do this. In fact, george w. Bush and barack obama both did very similar things. Pete here with insight on what the troops will be doing once they get there, retired Lieutenant General stephen blum who saw president bushs deployment as the National Guard chief. Incredible insight you can provide for us. Were hearing about troops going to the border. You were a part of that deployment originally. Tell us what will these troops actually be doing once they get to the southern border . Thats a very good question. We really e dont have the specifics of that right now in the current plan. But my assumption would be that we would do something very similar that was highly successful in 2006. We sent troops, National Guard both air guard, air force and army, army National Guard to the border to perform the following missions. And basically, they did everything for the Border Patrol that the Border Patrol had to do without doing the actual core mission of the Border Patrol which was interdicting immigrants, Illegal Immigrants coming across our border or criminal activity coming across our border. So what these things were, were basically engineering, they built roads, they improved roads, they actually built some of the wall and fencing and barriers that are still in place down there. They repaired ones that were in disrepair. They provided the eyes and ears for the Border Patrol and expanded their capacity and their capability to be able to see the border, you know, the border down on the southwest border of the United States is almost 2,000 miles long, and its very, very different along that 2,000 miles. So being able to get additional eyes and then when i say eyes, im talking about aerial observation, aviation, unmanned aviation, those type of things. And technological dices that petes devices that petes very familiar with that we used in our missions overseas. It gives you great ability to see whats happening in your sector. In addition, we provided logistics support, maintenance support, medical support because the people that come over our border sometimes need are in desperate straits when they get there. And often need medical care. Plus we had to take care of the soldiers that were on the border in some of these remote locations. Pete absolutely. All of those things to include aviation which gives the Border Patrol much, much increased mobility, gives them ability to actually do more with the same number of Border Patrol members that they have right now. Pete yes, sir. Abby you say if this is done right, this could be a brilliant idea. Weve also heard that the troops will not be armed. Can you clear position. However, that decision will be made by the the administration. Pete are you confident the border can be sealed until the wall is built . Pete, you know well the capabilities of the National Guard. I was the chief when you were in gitmo and iraq, sent this with the army. These are superb citizensoldiers. They have all of the skills, training and discipline of our best units in the United States army and air force. The only difference is that they come with civilianacquired skills and Life Experience that even our great active duty soldiers dont have. So theyre able to deal with the interagency and the intergovernment nuances of this kind of a mission very, very well. This is a brilliant idea to use the guard. The if we didnt have a guard, this nation would have to invent the National Guard today. It is precisely the secret sauce that delivers the unity of effort between the locals, the state, the federal governments of both the United States and mexico. And mexico views the guard quite differently than it does federal troops. Federal troops sends a very different message to the, on the south side of the border than what is he maybe intended. By putting the guard down there, the mexican the six states, the northern border states of mexico and the four United States states that border our Mexican BorderWork Together routinely. They see the guard all the Time Training and exercising with them. So they dont view it as a threat. Pete yeah. The only people that view this as a threat are the coyotes and the cartels. Abby well and just the presence of the guard there is a huge, huge deterrent. Abby it was wonderful having you on, Lieutenant Colonel. Thank you for being on with us. Pete thank you, sir, appreciate it. You got it. Pete well, the media melting down over the stock market blaming it all, of course, on the president. Trump doubling down on threatened tariffs against china. Shakeup in the markets, some calling it a trump drop. Pete Charles Payne here with a reality check. There he is, next. The dow takes a drastic drop as the threat of a trade war rises. President trump doubling down on his threatened tariffs against china, helping to send the dow down nearly 600 points. Shake up in the market, some calling it a trump drop. If we do not pay close attention, were going to create a global recession, and that would be a terrible tragedy. Ed trump slump, trump drop. I dont remember them saying trump rise, did they . Pete thats true. Abby we need Charles Payne for this, host of making money on fox business network. Always good to have you. Pete is it the trump bump or the trump rise . Well, even the trump bump was disingenuous because what happened during the first year was much more than a, quoteunquote, bump. We had one of the best years for the stock market, im telling you. It was flour you flowery evey single day. Volatility has come back, but we are up significantly since january of last year and even wednesday when the market was down, some of those clips from wednesday, we closed up that session. We had a 750point reversal, 1,000point reversal in two days. Theres some other forces out there, obviously. The markets had a huge run. Theres some anxiety over the trade confrontation that were involved in right now, but theres a lot of things to that this week that were missed by all the folks you just showed there. For instance, we had auto sales in. They came in at a million run rate better than wall street anticipated. We had earnings from one of the biggest Home Builders in this country, the stock went up 10 . The spring selling seasons going to be amazing. The only Thing Holding it back is a lack of workers. We had a report on class a trucks, you know the big ones, rev up the diesel . The third best number in history. Companies dont buy those big diesel trucks if they dont anticipate the economy doing great. So we had two things working this week in the market. You had headlines, hype, fear, fear mongering, and then you had facts that really didnt abby does china concern you though . You have a lot of farmers worried about the impact that might have. Youre a markets guy, are you worried about it . Im worried about near term. Im excited about long term. Im excited about the opportunity, hey, yeah, we get farmers, they buy soybeans because they need soybeans for farmers, right . They buy planes from boeing, but guess what . We dont want them stealing from us. It is so tunnel to accept this relationship the way it stands right now so dumb to accept this relationship. Were in a trade war, weve been losing one, and anyone that says using tariffs starts a trade war, then guess what . Were in one. China has tear writerred. By the way, their tariffs are significantly higher than other ours. The barrier to get into their country to sell them goods, significantly more expensive, and they rip you off. Pete they own business withs, statesubsidized businesses. They steal your property, intellectual property. Its one of these things if you dont draw a line in the sand, its going to get worse ed i want to get your reaction to bob johnson, the bet founder, he said this about the trump economy. Watch this. You have to take encouragement from whats happening in the labor force and the job market. When you look at africanamerican unemployment, in over 50 years since the bureau of labor statistics has been keeping the numbers youve never had two things africanamerican unemployment this low and the spread between unemployment among why notes and africanamericans narrowing whites and africanamericans narrowing. That absolutely means that the job market is so liciting employees who have been out of the labor force. Some of it just based on, you know, discrimination, some of it based on, you know, changes in education and access and technology changing. And so when you look at that, youve got to Say Something is going right. Ed something is going right. You dont hear people saying that often. Right. But the numbers say it. Even i through this last month, the Second LowestUnemployment Rate for black americans in history. Also the quality of jobs. One thing thats going on, goodsproducing jobs, manufacturing, construction. I just talked about Home Builders. Those are jobs that black folks are getting, hispanic folks are getting, and they pay more than or some of the jobs that were being created during the great recession. Pete will the president get credit for that . I dont think so. But you know what . At the end of day, i think people though are going to feel better about themselves. We already see it in a whole lot of different surveys abby thats what matters. The most important thing is that the average mesh feel average american feels good about their opportunities. You got it. Abby happy sunday. I do want to bring you some other headlines. Tributes and donations pouring in for the Canadian Hockey Team involved in that deadly crash. A gofundme page raising nearly 3 million in just one day. Nhl teams wearing hell melts and observing moments of silence. Fifteen killed including 11 players, 2 coaches on the way to a game. Among the dead, the teams head coach and captain. And a powerful picture of surviving teammates locking hands in the hospital. You can see there President Trump tweeting his condolences after calling Prime Minister justin trudeau. Such a heartbreaking story, that was. And a home explodes and bursts into flames when an out of control car drives right through it. The incredible moment of impact caught on camera outside fort worth, texas. Fire fighters say the strives brakes failed sending him crashing into the homes gas line. Three people inside the home and two Police Officers rushed to the hospital. The driver does not have a license and is now under arrest. Also this, a new study revealing the one cure thats most likely to ruin one chore thats most likely to ruin a relationship. See, thats not what i want. You just said that you want me to help you do the dishes. I want you to want to do the dishes. Why would i want to do dishes . Why . See, thats my whole point. Abby well, according to the council of contemporary families, women who say they do all of the i was saying this earlier all of the dish washing are most unhappy i do love my husband though. Compared to any other household chore. Dirty dishes can be a constant problem. So what do you think . Email us, friends foxnews. Com, what is the chore that you hate doing that could impact why would i want to do the dishes . [laughter] thats the truest statement ever said. Abby why do women want to do the dishes . Ed theres a thing called the Dishwasher Pete i know, but theres so many layers. Do you rinse off your dish, throw it in the sink abby depends how much foods on there. Ed i hate the dishwasher. Why . Because you put the dishes in there, and then you have to take them out, and then you just take out that one dish you need abby is it a then youre like, wait, i have this one dirty dish, so i put it back in with the dirty dishes and just wash the whole thing again. Seriously lazy. [laughter] hey, look at that, maps just appeared. Ity ace appeared, but the maps appeared. And i dont see the maps, you guys oh, there you go. Now everybodys back except for me. Heres your current temperatures, its really cold, 0 in international falls. Its april what . Be. Abby april 8th. There you go, feels like 2 in fargo, 25 in ohm omaha. Texas, temperatures 36 in dallas, 43 in san antonio, basically you get the idea, nobody is really feeling good, at least springlike across parts of the east. Things are going to change this week though. One storm system yesterday across california, that now is diving in towards the central plains. Take a look at this, more snow down across parts of oklahoma, we had that bled yesterday morning, now another batch moving through and out across the east. Florida, youre still going to see scattered showers. Today its cold, tomorrow still cold, tuesday starts to get better, wednesday 73 in kansas city and there you go, by thursday, guys, a bit of a break for almost everybody. But weve got to get all the way til thursday. Pete im still hung up that you wash an entire set of dishes this is why i try not to use the dishwasher. Abby we should have a fox Friends Weekend party at ricks place and eat on the dishes and individually put them in the dishwasher. Or if we just take all the dishes out, then it works. Abby thank you, rick. Pete as we often do, now turn to a tough story here on fox friends. Two soldiers, two american soldiers killed in a Helicopter Training crash. The fourth accident in just the last week. Seven Service Members have died this week. Lieutenant colonel Michael Walsh says were not ready for war. Serious topic, and he joins us about it next. Ed plus, Mark Zuckerberg set to testify this week about facebooks data problems, and we may have gotten a preview courtesy of, yes, saturday night live. America, look me in my shark eyes when i say this [laughter] that on behalf of everyone on facebook, im sorry. On opposite day [laughter] the closer you get to home, the more you know the commute is worth it. You and that john deere tractor. You can keep dreaming up projects all the way home. Its a longer drive. But just like a john deere, its worth it. I neverunderwear thats this, but actually pretty. Leak always discreet boutique. Hidden inside is a super absorbent core that quickly turns liquid to gel. So i feel protected. And pretty. Always discreet boutique. Pete welcome back. Two soldiers were killed friday in a crash while training aboard an Apache Helicopter at Fort Campbell, kentucky. The incident marking the Fourth Military crash just this week alone. Bringing the total number of servicemen dead in crashes to seven in just a week. Here to weigh in, retired u. S. Army Lieutenant Colonel michael walz. Colonel, thanks for joining us. Hey, one time, two times, four times becomes a trend. Why are we seeing these types of accidents within our military . Well, just to be blunt, our military and particularly our aviation fleet is flat worn out after 17 years of continuous war and particularly after eight years of budget cuts under president obama. You know, the head of the marine corps recently testified that a third of their sal onfleet, their stallion fleet, im sorry, only a third are able to fly. So twothirds are grounded, and, you know, how is this affecting strategic operations . Well, recently when we put three aircraft carriers off the coast of north korea as a show of force to kim jong un, the navy had to essentially gut the rest of its aviation fleet just to be able to staff, fully staff with aircraft three of our twelve aircraft carriers. Pete so training is, of course as you know better than anybody else, preparation for the actual thing. But if youre not able to have the flight hours or the maintenance or the equipment thats right. Pete youre in serious trouble. How far behind are we on this and how do we, a, provide a safe environment for those training and, b, be prepared for war . Well, this is why, you know, the budget that President Trump recently signed, the omnibus budget was so critical, 700 billion for the military this year, 716 next year. A lot of folks were upset with the president for what the democrats were able to get included on the domestic front, but he knew that these monies were essential for what the military calls readiness for our military to essentially be able to buy the parts, to refit the aircraft and then to be able to modernize the fleet and be able to put research and development in for new types of equipment and aircraft so that we can handle everything from north korea to china to resurgent russia and the global war on terrorism that is, you know, i argue and others, a generational war. Pete youre right. I mean, ultimately, it tough as tough as that vote may have been, Lieutenant Colonel michael waltz, appreciate it. Thank you for your service to this great cub. Weve got to have our war fighters getting the best. The doj says it will make extraordinary accommodations for congress to view documents related to the fisa scandal. The sign posted outside the sheriffs headquarters reads, quote our citizens have concealed weapons. If you kill someone, we might kill you back. We have one jail and 356 cemeteries. Enjoy your stay. Ed joining us now with the story behind this sign is the creator himself, sheriff mike jolly from the Harris County, georgia, sheriffs office. Good morning. Good morning, guys. How yall doing . Ed do you really have 356 cemeteries, or is that hyperbole . Is. Probably just a little tongue in cheek. [laughter] ed so what was the purpose . Over the past few years weve tripled in the concealed weapons in our county, and thats the purpose. Just to let people know that the law is real specific. If you are using a Deadly Weapon to commit Bodily Injury to someone, the law says that a person can use a weapon to protect themselves. And thats exactly what it says. And the fact that we have one jail and so many cemeteries is just a tongue in cheek way of saying Law Enforcement cant be everywhere all the time. So citizens have a right to protect themselves. Pete yeah. Youre basically saying our town is not a gunfree zone, and if you want to come here and cause havoc, weve got armed citizens. You know, why dont so many people understand that basic premise, that an armed citizenry is the best way to deter crimes . You know, weve just gone crazy this day and time. I cant understand it. But it is what it is now. Ed so in 2015, this is not the first time youve had a little bit of fun. 2015 you had the most politically incorrect sign, im told, of the year. Warning Harris County is politically incorrect. We say Merry Christmas, God Bless America and in god we trust. We salute our troops and our flag. If this offends you, leave. I dont know who determines its the most politically incorrect can, but whyd you do it . Well, again, it just took me back to a time that was slower. I cant see what the problem is with saying Merry Christmas or in god we trust or we salute our flag and support our troops. When i was young, we all did it. We should go back to it. And if that truly offends a person to where you want to fight or get in a disagreement, maybe you should leave. Ed sheriff pete i want to move to your town. Its almost like you were trump before trump. You recognize these cultural trends and say, hey, we dont have to put up with it. Well, you know, its time to make America Great again. Ed all right. One person is dead and six firefighters hurt after a fire rips through trump tower right here in new york city. President trump tweeting about the blaze and thank the firefighters for a great job. President trump blasting the doj and fbi, slow walking. What is going on . Bad they gave us absolutely nothing. The president s right to be frustrated, im frustrated. But you know what . Enough with the talk. Abby here on the masters fox friends plaza, will it be ed, will it be pete . Pete do i have to make this . All right. Ed watch it, pete. [laughter] winner [cheers and applause] ed let that play out just a little bit. Abby ed feels on top of the world. Pete one putt lips out. Ed you stabbed at it. Pete i mean, it lipped out. Ed he is green with envy this morning. [laughter] it is masters sunday. Ive got the jacket. I dont have to worry about sitting on a lead. It was won yesterday. Pete you won it on saturday, youre right. Abby and pete presented you the green jacket in the 6 00 hour. Ed i had a blue jacket, abby and i were in on a joke our producers, and i said ill wear a green tie, i dont want to wear a green jacket, and abby said, wait a second, its sunday. Abby looked all over the city yesterday ed i called, i finally found it at brooks brothers, you get the credit even though i paid full price on madison avenue, and they had a green jacket. All these people were telling me you cant get the masters jacket, its trademarked abby but if you tell them you won the masters ed i won, fair and square. One guy at ralph lauren, he said, i can get it in three weeks. I said, i need it tomorrow. He said, ive got another idea, if youre good at golf abby heres the sad thing, pete has continued to lose, how many times now . Pete well. Abby it was basketball, you were dunked, the list goes on and on. So we asked you this morning, what sport should we do next that you think pete could actually win . [laughter] ed is there anything . Abby so russell said you should have ed and pete do this for the open, the british open and the pga championship and see if ed can compete complete the grand slam. Ed my buddy dana quick hi told me nobodys worn this better since armey. I think hes exaggerating. John and marching relate, jousting with golf carts. That could get dangerous. Pete im in for it. I want to do that. Holly emailed saying hockey, of course, with the stanley cup playoffs pending, hockey should be next. I am from minnesota, so youd assume ive got an advantage, but i played a lot of boose hockey, but im boot hockey, but im not a good skater. Ed you should be great at hockey. You know what . It just raises expectations. Pete my dad was a basketball coach, but ive already lost that one. I want a rematch. Abby can i put in my recommendation . Ed yeah, what . Abby synchronized swimming. Pete ive actually done that on fox friends. Abby i believe it. Ed the president talked about in the campaign about youd be tired of winning. Heres another one. He is going directly to the border trying to seal it up and basically saying if congress is not going to give him money for the wall, he is going to strengthen our defenses. Pete thats right, tweeting yesterday saying pete first doubling own on the realif securing the border but then also litigating and reminding people theres only one side of the aisle, frankly only one place because Establishment Republicans have been no good on this as well, one place where a true commitment exists. He wants the border wall, they wont give it to him yet. Hes saying im going to send the National Guard. Abby you cant really move forward on immigration in this country unless you secure that border, so that is something the president s doubling down on. You now have troops sent to the borders, arizona and texas. We talked to a Lieutenant General, stephen blum, this morning on the show because this has happened before under george w. Bush and barack obama, and he helped in that effort under the bush years pete he overi saw it. Abby heres what he told us about how to implement in the right way. These are superb citizensoldiers. They have all of the skills, training and discipline of our best units in the United States army and air force. The only difference is that they come with civilianacquired skills and Life Experience. This is a brilliant idea to use the guard. It is precisely the secret sauce that delivers the unity of effort between the locals, the state, the federal governments of both the United States and mexico. The only people that view this as a threat are the coyotes and the cartels. Ed true abby he also, he also suggested the troops should be armed. We didnt play it because we asked there have been reports they wouldnt be armed, we werent sure pete how could they not be . Abby he would say they were much better off ed someone crosses the border and provokes them, someone gets shot. Pete its true, but youve got these ms13 cartels, drug cartels, youve got to have the ability to defend yourself if youre a National Guardsman down at the border. He said they were armed then, they should be armed now. Were going to talk to the Brigadier General, tracy norse, shes the head of the texas National Guard. Theyve announced theyre deploying troops. Ive got to believe she would say they should be arm as well. Ed maybe one of our questions, id just say he the Lieutenant General knows more than i do about the border, and he went through this in 2006. But, but, but we tried it, as he said, in 2006, then tried it under barack obama in 2010, he says its the secret sauce. Weve done it twice, and here we are a decade later, and the borders still not secure. Abby and according to the memo, the troops will be there through the end of september, so what happens after that . What is the longTerm Solution to this problem . Pete thats right. Abby all right. We will keep talking about this throughout the morning, and ed will keep his green jacket on, i have no doubt. We do want to get to some serious headlines, one person is dead, six firefighters hurt after a fire rips through trump tower right here in new york city. You can see the flames shooting out from the apartment on the 50th floor. Art dealer todd brasner pulled out of the home and later died. Unclear what sparked that tour. No members of the first family were there at the time. President trump tweeting firefighters, thank them for the great job. Also the u. S. Demanding russia end its support for syria after one of the worst Chemical Attacks in history, the attack killed at least 70. More than 500 others injured. Well, it is sunday and it is the masters, and it is a showdown that is taking shape today. Patrick reed holding his lead entering the final round. [cheers and applause] how about patrick reed . Abby that was a shot. The 27yearold american now at 14underpar and a threeshot lead over rory mcing ill roy. We will see what happens today, but hes 27 years old. He kind of reminds me of you. Ed yeah, he shocks the world. Pete you know, i love masters sunday. Its a great time to take a nap. [laughter] ed anyway, thats what happened to you yesterday. Saturday night live last night gave us a taste of whats going to be a difficult week, its been a difficult couple of months for Mark Zuckerberg, of course, founder of facebook. Hes going to have two full days of testimony getting all kinds of questions, and saturday night be live had a little fun. Mark zuckerberg will testify about facebooks alleged mishandling of millions of users data. Two, three and away. [laughter] nailed it. Tonight id like to apologize to all 87 million of you, one by one. Im sorry, ethan cooperbert, of van nuys, california, for disclosing that you frequently visit your exgirlfriends photo album. Remember they made a movie about me . It was called gladiator. [laughter] thats a joke. Users will be able to delete their data . No, because its mine. You gave it to me. And if you dont like it, you can dunk us. But, america, look me in my shark eyes when i say this, that on behalf of everyone at facebook, im sorry. On opposite day. [laughter] Mark Zuckerberg, everyone. [laughter] abby thats hilarious. It just highlights the tough position that Mark Zuckerberg is in pete that hes put himself in. Ed hes not a victim. Pete not at all. Hes got this powerful platform. Theres accusations of scraping peoples data and, frankly, slanting against this is my biggest concern the algorithm and how it slants against conservatives, conservative soy voices on that platform. Which brings us to a friend of two friends of this show, diamond and silk. You know them and you love them. Now, they say that facebook is censoring their page. Heres a quote of what theyve gone through recently. They say diamond and silk have been corresponding since september 7, 2017, with facebook about their biased censorship and discrimination against diamond and silks brand page. Finally after several emails, chats, phone calls, appeals, beating around the bush, lies and giving us the run around, facebook gave us another bogus reason why millions of people who have liked or followed our page no longer receive notifications and why our page, post and video reach was reduced by a very large percentage. This is the reply from facebook. pete i say again, unsafe to the community. Ed wow. Pete and you can understand why people are outraged by what facebook is doing. Abby we have reached out to facebook, weve not yet gotten a response from them. Were going to have diamond and silk on the show this morning at 9 30. Remember, their facebook videos went viral, as you said, back in september 2017 during the campaign. They went on stage at one point during a Campaign Rally with President Trump. They are outspoken supporters of the president , and they said over time theyve seen their viewership and likes and all that go down. Ed right. Abby so they were questioning what was going on pete so facebook at 9 29 eastern time, our program is about to become unsafe to the community because were going to have diamond and silk on here. Its unbelievable the me. That is the fear. If you have that much power and that kind of platform and a secret algorithm and you can tell someone like diamond and silk two ladies with strong opinions that theyre unsafe, where does it start . Who else do they silence . Ed i thought maybe we could disinvite them, but you know what . Theres no backsies. [laughter] abby well have them on later. You dont want to miss that. Ed the president may be preparing to sit down oneonone with Robert Mueller. Our next guest helped in the president clinton. He says it could be a very dangerous move. Pete plus, house intel chair devin nunes joins us live, top of the hour. Abby and did twitters ceo just endorse a civil war with the Republican Party . Ed reports that President Trump is preparing for an interview with special counsel Robert Mueller, he has publicly said he wants to do it although no formal meeting has been announced. This just days after a report in the Washington Post said the president is not a criminal target in the russia probe. So should the president even sit down with mueller, and what goes into these important oneonone interviews. Joining us now is former deputy independent counsel who questioned president clinton, saul wiens berg. We appreciate you coming in. Good morning, ed, thanks a lot. Ed you would have worked with the independent counsel ken starr at that time, you led the questioning, as i recall, of former president clinton, and we actually had ken starr on this program yesterday, and he was saying even though it may be dangerous legally for the president , this president , President Trump, to sit down with Robert Mueller, in the court of public opinion, he likely has to do that. What ayou . Well, i dont know about that. If anybody can pull off not doing it, i think its this president , you know . The Supreme Court has said for the last 70 years very clearly that the fifth amendment privilege against selfincrimination protects the innocent as well as the guilty. And in particular protects the innocent from being, who were enshein neighbored in am ensnared in ambiguous circumstances and might be tricked by the artful questions of prosecutors. So i think the president could go on national tv and say the Supreme Court has said this, it protects the innocent as well as the guilty. Ive said from the beginning this is a witch hunt, and im not going to be part of a gotcha process where basically nothing has been found, and theyre trying to rope me in and hopefully catch me in some innocent fault ed right. So lets talk about the potential to be caught in what some of his advisers call a perjury trap which is that this special counsel, Robert Mueller, has obviously interviewed all kinds of people. Peoples accounts may be varying. Hes got emails, hes done interviews, so what would you do to prepare President Trump if he does go in on a oneonone, what warnings would you have for him . Well, i think you want his attorney in there with him, and that way, you know, theres nothing that prevents an attorney from coming in and, for example, if bob mueller or his assistant ask an ambiguous question, ty cobb could say, well, wait a minute, mr. Mueller, what exactly do you mean by that . And if the president gives an answer that, in all innocence, is not completely correct because hes forgotten something, ty cobb can come in and say, wait a second, mr. Mr. President , what about this . Theres no set ground rule, theres nothing that would prevent ty cobb from doing that. And by the way, its knotts that President Trump isnt very intelligent and wouldnt do very well in such an interview. I have seen taped depositions of President Trump, and he has performed very well. Its that its extremely dangerous. He does not know what mueller, information mueller has. When we questioned president clinton, he knew just about everything we had. Its a real mystery there, and its very dangerous. Ed real quick, what was the difference . Why did bill clinton know moresome because that investigation had gone on longer or thats right. And because we had revealed some of the stuff to him in an abundance of fairness. He knew about the dress, he knew about the dna. Ed ah. And so, and President Trump has gotten a lot less information from this special counsel. Appreciate your time today. No problem. Ed sol, great insight. Coming up, house intel chairman devin nunes live, hes got a lot to say about whether the Justice Department is turning over information quick enough. Originally discovered. In jellyfish. Also this, authorities in germany hunting for a motive after a man mows down innocent people outside of a popular bar killing two and leaving 20 others hurt. The suspect using a van to smash into whatever was in his path. The driver then shot and killed himself in front of horrified tourists. Terrible story. Pete, over to you. Pete abby, thanks. Well, putting President Trumps policy into action. The National Guard now on the ground at the u. S. Border with mexico. The Defense Department signing orders friday deploying up to 4,000 troops. Texas vowing immediately to send 250 National Guard troops by monday while arizona says theyll send 150 by next week. Here to tell us whats happening with her troops on the ground, texas army National GuardBrigadier General tracy norris who is also the Deputy Assistant general, adjutant general for the army in texas. Brigadier general, thank you for joining us this morning. First and foremost, what will texas National Guard troops be doing on the border . Currently, pete, they are on the border, our planners are in each of the sectors working with those sector commanders and their planners of identifying the requirements of what theyll need us to do in support. So once we see this as an evolving mission. So as the requirements develop with department of Homeland Security, well engage with the different surveillance equipment, light and medium aircraft however they see fit. Peter so, general, we see National Guard troops even under title 32 status with limited in what they can do as far as Law Enforcement capacity. So what youre looking at is linking up with local civilian authorities and providing value to them whether its surveillance with aircraft or people on the ground, assisting in the interdiction but not actually doing the arrests yourselves, correct . Correct, at this time. And really the requirements from the department of Homeland Security specifically. Pete okay. In support of the Border Patrol. Pete specific question, will texas army National Guard troops be armed when theyre on the border . It will be dependent on the mission set which means that those that will need to be armed for selfdefense will be. Pete so those that might be Forward Deployed closer to the border, potentially in the pathway of those who are coming illegally likely would be carrying a firearm. For selfdefense. Pete for selfdefense, exactly. So clarification here, this is a title 32 mission which means technically these troops, as i understand it, are still under command of the governor while coordinating and receiving funding from the feds. Within that can capacity within that capacity, any additional latitude given because theyre under control of the governor as far as what they can do in working with federal authorities . We will continue to stay in coordination with our governor who will be working with the administration on what that is. And we will also work with National Guard bureau and department of the army on anything else that well need as far as guidance, but we are under the command and control of Governor Abbott. Pete you are. We saw the deployment order from secretary mattis. Texas and arizona, a couple of other states volunteered immediately to send troops, others said they would not. Was this a voluntary decision by texas, or was texas sold to send troops to the border . Told to send troops to the border . So texas has had troops on the border since 2014 when Governor Abbott sent them to the border. Currently, we have about 100 soldiers on the border, so these additional soldiers will be just joining them on the border, now federal agencies. Pete was it mandated from the pentagon, or did texas say were going to be proactive and send these troops in decision . So, yes, we were already had troops there, and when we were given the go ahead to send additional troops that were going to be federally funded but still under control of the governor, we went ahead and started to make that happen. Pete and its a six month deployment from what i understand or six month engagement. I presume texas is prepared to stay there longer along with other states if necessary. This is correct. And we are already working on a contingency plan if we have to start rotating soldiers and airmen off the border because we are very sensitive to our employers and our families who support our soldiers and airmen for all the missions that they get. Peter well, Brigadier General tracy norrising, thank you for your service, for the service of the troops underneath you. Selfishly, i might have to come down there and see what you guys are doing. I just invited myself, if in case you absolutely, come on. Pete thank you, general, appreciate your service. The doj says it will make extraordinary accommodations for congress to review documents related to the fisa scandal. Devin nunes here to react next. Plus, did twitters ceo just endorse a civil war against the Republican Party . Well show you the controversial tweet, and you will be the judge. And its getting a little wild. I saw it firsthand in our green room. Were celebrating National Zoo Lovers Day. I think thats abby, and i think thats a penguin. And shes feeding the penguin something, likely a fish. Ed the Justice Department says its making extraordinary accommodation for House Intel Committee members to see those fisa documents as President Trump suggests that the Jeff Sessionsled department is slow walking various congressional requests for documents tied to these investigations in the clinton email probe. Joining us on the phone right now is the house intel chairman, congressman devin nunes. Congressman, i i know youre on a congressional delegation traveling right now, and we want to get to these important issues involving the Justice Department. Real quick, some news breaking overnight. There was a chemical attack as you probably know, i dont know if youve been briefed yet given the fact that youre traveling, at least 70 killed in this suspected chemical attack. Last time there was an incident like this, as you know, President Trump ordered airstrikes against syria. Last year. I wonder what you know about this incident and what you think about the stakes and potential for u. S. Action. Well, thank you and good morning. And, yes, i havent been briefed on this yet, but ive just read reports and, obviously, its very troubling. You know, this activity continues. You know, you just saw last week the russian president putin was meeting with both turkish president and the iranian leader. This is a troubled region, its not going to get any easier, its always been a troubled region. But with secretary mattis, i have confidence in him. We have, hopefully, secretary pompeo soon coming in as secretary of state and john bolton at the nsc, so the good thing is that President Trumps getting some good advice and, you know, my advice would be to listen to them and move forward in an appropriate manner. Abby such a sad situation going on there. Want to get your thoughts as well, the doj say they are making extraordinary accommodations for the house intel members to view the fisa docs so look over warrants that were given to surveilled carter page as part of the russia probe. You are leading that effort. The president has been tweeting out about this this past week. He says hes frustrated things arent happening quick enough, theres not enough transparent city. Where do things stand right now . Well, this is unacceptable. This is information that, first of all, leaked out a long time ago. You remember, the carter page, fisa warrant, that had leaked out back in 2016. We fought and fought and fought to get that information that culminated with finally we were able to send a couple investigators over and trey gowdy over that led to the memo we released so now that people know that clinton paid for dirt was used against the Trump Campaign to spy on the Trump Campaign. So our members have been asking to see the underlying information that our investigators had been able to review. So it was nice that they did that, but it doesnt really make a lot of sense because this is something that should have been done a long time ago. What they failed to address is we have been asking, we subpoenaed in august of last year to see a twopage document, whats called an electronic communication which is what they used to open the investigation into the trump president ial campaign in the summer of 2016. We still have not seen that, and we have not seen a fully unredacted version of that document. Pete and, mr. Chairman, they say those that would do the redacting that its too sensitive. I would ask you as the chairman of the House Intel Committee, ive got to believe you have as high a classification as anyone in our government does. Is it too classified, or are they stonewalling and hiding behind something they dont want you or the public to see . Good point. This is i keep trying to tell this to the department of justice and the fbi. Congress created the department of justice and the fbi. Theyre the ones that open an investigation into a president ial campaign using our counterintelligence capabilities. So this in and of itself was unprecedented, its crazy, the American People know its crazy, and the longer that they keep very basic information from us like show us the two pages on what led you to believe that you should open this investigation into the campaign. And the longer that they block this from us, i think the more the American People are going to become frustrated, and its going to look badly on the department of justice abby why do you think its taking so long . Look, just like we found out with the other information, every time we had to fight for months and months and months to just get a little bit more information, a little bit more information, it always turns out badly for them. I mean, look whats just coming out this past week on the additional Text Messages from mr. Peter strzok and ms. Page, the fbi agent. And remember, our committee was the first to ask for those Text Messages. We were promised that we had all the information as it related to fisa abuse. And then we find out, oh, wait, they were talking to a fisa judge. Now we find out just this week there were additional Text Messages involving a discussion that they were having about the fisa process. The department of justice and the fbi knew that we had them under investigation for fisa abuse, and they decided, they just decided not to give us that information . So my guess is that whatever is in this electronic communication which we have a pretty good idea, and you know why we have a good idea . Because they leaked it at the end of december. Someone from the fbi had to have leaked the information that was in that electronic communication to the new york times. And we need to verify that, if that was an you know, was that leaked to the new york times, was that true or not. Ed when i reached out to you yesterday, congressman, you mentioned that in your travels some of our partners, our allies in the fight against alqaeda, isis are asking you as the house intel chairman was intelligence weaponized by the Obama Administration against Trump Officials and that theyre kind of worried about whats happening in the United States. Can you talk about the stakes there . Yeah. Well, typically when were overseas, we meet with our allies and partners, with their Intelligence Services. And a lot of times we talk to them about having high levels of standards, right . Not using your intelligence agencies to spy on political opponents. Its one of the first conversations we have especially with countries that are developing in some way, because a lot of times the political leaders will try and use the intelligence agencies to spy on their opponents to get economic information, to get dirty information about their opponents. And we always start with the conversation of, look, our Intelligence Services in the United States, we dont get involved in politics. And now after years and years of us saying that, ive had to answer the question over the last week from multiple intelligence agencies of, you know, these are sometimes strong allies or close partners that are helping us track down isis and alqaeda terrorists all over globe, and i have to sit there and explain, well, heres what happened. And, you know, then i have to say, look, we have a congress, were trying to get to the bottom of it, but other countries, even second world countries are questioning what hells going on in america. Pete such an interesting and important point that you dont think about at all. Congressman, mr. Chairman, please be safe in your travels. Thank you for your work, and we look forward to checking in. Abby great to hear your perspective. Thanks for having me on. Abby turning now to some other headlines we are following closely this morning, investigators may have found the body of a child missing after a family suv plunged off of that cliff. Both mothers and three children are now confirmed dead following the crash that happened in california. But the bodies of the three other kids, they have not yet been recovered. Well keep a close eye on that one. An autopsy this week will determine if these new remains match up with any of those missing children. Authorities suspect that the crash was intentional. Also this morning twitters ceo, jack dorsey sharing a post calling for the country to overtake republicans at the ballot box. [laughter] ed rick would never do that. No, im with pete. Im thinking that doesnt look that bad. Actually, looks like a lot of fun. Lets produce that, pete. Pete okay. All right. Abby unbelievable. Thank you, rick. Pete still ahead, is harvard that vaunted institution waging war on christianity . Well, one of the universitys largest christian groups was just defunded ed what . Pete after exercising religious rights. Our next guest is calling out the intolerance on campus. Abby plus, which chore is most likely to ruin your relationship . Your emails are pouring in on this. My twitter feed is blowing up about this. Were going to read those answers coming up. Ed i dont understand this dish washing thing. Just put em in. [laughter] sfx muffled whistle text alert. Im your phone, stuck down here between your seat and your console, playing a little hidenseek. [laughter] thats how much Russell Crowe earned at his socalled divorce auction. A rare 128yearold violin crowe learned to play for his movie master and commander selling for just over 1,000. Pete . Pete harvards latest Christian Fellowship is placed on probation and defunded after simply exercising their religious right. The group, Harvard College faith and action, asked one of its student leaders to step down after revealing she was in a samesex relationship. The university was not happy about the groups move. Labeling them, quote, intolerant. Abby our next guest called out harvard for its, quote, intolerance in a new oped writing the more the liberal institutions squeeze orthodox believers, the harder it becomes to imagine liberalism returning to the days when it not only accommodated, but even encouraged traditional morality and belief. Pete so is harvard waging war on christianity . Is here to weigh in, Senior Writer for commentary and author of that oped, sorab amare. Thank you for being here. For me, this is not an issue about samesex marriage or relationships, its about religious organizations being able to adhere to their beliefs freely in a free society. But in this particular case, they chose to make a decision based on their faith, and as a result were punished by the university. Thats exactly right. Harvard is a private institution. Its not bound by the first amendment. Never theless, it puts itself forward as an institution where theres free inquiry and free speech, and a component is freedom of association which means that groups depending on their religious faith or other political views can choose who their leadership should be. Its a violation of that principle which still applies, i think, at harvard for harvard to be an institution where freedom matters. And its just part of a bigger pattern where you begin to question whether we really still live in a free society. I mean, if you hold up a checklist, you know, we still have competitive elections, thank god, we still have a free and robust press, thank god. But in many areas of life particularly in culture, entertainment, journalism and academia especially it doesnt feel that way. People feel theres this kind of pervasive, lowgrade pressure that you have to conform your opinion to the latest liberal orthodoxy. Which, by the way, is shifting everything minute. Abby right. Whether or not religious liberty still exists. So were getting a statement from the school, this is from weve seen our brothered Broader Society and shower saturday, there are and at harvard, there are protections for gays and minorities. This is about the right to uphold its faith beliefs. And i think this is very dangerous because at some point you get to a situation where people dont feel like they can uphold their faith. So look, i mean, liberalism no longer asks that you give them rights or you give them recognition. Theyve already won all the rights and recognition. We have gay marriage, we have transgender rights. But now increasingly you as the individual, you, pete, you, abby, have to in your soul believe that you have to make the cake that Caitlyn Jenner was always a woman, was never bruce. You have to as a Christian Organization allow an active bisexual to be pete well, its political correctness. It goes from acceptance to conformity to celebration, and if you dont accept it, then youre wrong. And thats where speech and freedom of association ends. Abby thank you for being with us. Pete appreciate your perspective. Well, all eyes on Mark Zuckerberg as he prepares to testify this week. And now facebook execs say if you want to keep your data private, youre going to have to pay for it. Can that actually happen . Well ask that question. Abby and it is getting wild in our studio this morning. We are celebrating national zoo loves day. Yes, that is a baby kangaroo. So cute. Pete ed, pet the sloth. Ed i hear he bites, so im not going to touch him. Omething was missing. Me. The thought of my symptoms returning was keeping me from being there for the people and things i love most. So, i talked to my doctor and learned humira can help get, and keep,uc under control when other medications havent worked well enough. And it helps people achieve control that lasts so you could experience few or no symptoms. Humira can lower your ability to fight infections, including tuberculosis. Serious, sometimes fatal infections and cancers, including lymphoma, have happened; as have blood, liver, and nervous system problems, serious allergic reactions, and new or worsening Heart Failure. Before treatment, get tested for tb. Tell your doctor if youve been to areas where certain fungal infections are common, and if youve had tb, hepatitis b, are prone to infections, or have flulike symptoms or sores. Dont start humira if you have an infection. Be there for you, and them. Ask your gastroenterologist about humira. With humira, control is possible. Ed today is national or zoo lovers day pete we had it marks marked on our calendar. Susie brought the animals to us. Good morning, its great to be here. Abby you have trout in your hands. Trout is probably one of my favorite animals at the columbus zoo. Abby can he wander . Can we let him roam . Ed why is he your favorite . Hes such a good ambassador for the blackfooted penguin. This is an endangered species, and the other kind of myth about penguins, everybody thinks they live on the north pole, and i hate to burst everybodys bubble, theres no penguins on the north pole. In fact, most of them live in the southern hemisphere. He lives in south africa. And unfortunately, theyre really in trouble because of oil spills right now. That is an endangered species. Trout raises tons of money for conservation ed rick is loving abby this is maddie. A little kangaroo in the pouch. A little red kangaroo. Ed rick is in love. When shes full grown, the red kangaroo is the largest marsupial and the largest kangaroo. Now, she wont be the largest, because the males are a lot bigger than her. This is sonny, and shes got a big piece of sweet potato in her mouth. They are slow, they probably sleep 15 hours a today and spend most of their life in, like, three different trees, but they have teeth. You can touch her, but you want to pet her back here. Abby go ahead, pete. I dont know if cameras can get up close ed look at that, looking around. Im not going to let you get bit. Notice how the hairs growing the opposite way . Thats because she lives in the rain forest of south and central america, and the rain would come up. But if she lived in the wild, shed have algae growing all over her because she does have a lot of predators. Shes got jaguars abby and they cant move quickly, so what are you going to do . No, they cant. Shes very well camouflaged. Abby more animals later, so dont miss that. Pete wheres the penguin . Abby still ahead on the show, pastor robert jeffers, Alan Dershowitz and diamond and silk all coming up. You dont want to miss it. Pete its National Zoo Lovers Day, come on. Abby where did trout go . Life in the fast lane saved money on motorcycle insurance with geico. Goin up the country. Later, gary i have a motorcycle wonderful. Im goin up the country, baby dont you wanna go . Im goin up the country, baby dont you wanna go . Geico motorcycle, great rates for great rides. You wouldnt accept from any one else. So why accept it from your allergy pills . Most pills dont finish the job because they dont relieve nasal congestion. Flonase allergy relief is different. Flonase relieves sneezing, itchy, watery eyes and a runny nose, plus nasal congestion, which pills dont. Flonase helps block 6 key inflammatory substances. Most pills only block one. And 6 is greater than 1. Start your day with flonase for more complete allergy relief. Flonase. This changes everything. Democrats in congress are doing everything in their power to undermine immigration endorsement. I will not rest until we have secured our borders and restored the rule of law. This is a brilliant idea to use the guard. And just the presence of the guard there is a huge, huge deterrent. One person is dead, and six firefighters hurt after a fire ripped through trump tower right here in new york city. President trump tweeting about the blaze and thanking the firefighters for a great job. Diamond and silk, they say that facebook is censoring their facebook page. This is the reply from facebook. The policy team has come to the conclusion that your content, diamond and silk, and your brand has been determined unsafe to the community. Aim glad to make this . Watch it, pete . [cheers] result 34589 symbol of success because you want the masters in fox friends. Whole life, dots it fit right . Yeah. [cheers] whatever it takes i do whatever it takes ed as the kids say ed henry for the win. Abby whatever you have to do. I want to be fair and square. Pete thank goodness my parents taught me how to lose gracefully. That was a big putt right there. If you didnt see the masters on the plaza yesterday. I had him. If he missed the putt i was going to win. And he stroked it. Ed nice touch there. Abby look how proud he is in that moment. Pete i missed a 6inch gimme putt and that was it. Abby ed won. Thank you for clarifying it. Ed won. We to give him his own green jacket. Pete which i didnt know about until that very moment. I have watched the green jacket applied on the masters, you have got to get it right ed last years winner puts it on this year. Sergio had a 13. Five times. He didnt make the cut. He cannot win. Is he a loser. He has to sit around saturday and sunday. Abby poor guy. Ed got to go home and stay put the jacket on. Pete i get to sit on the couch with this guy. Abby what sport can pete actually win in. Email i think pete has a good chance at thumb wrestling. Ed paint ball, pete, youve got. This. Pete paint ball i have got you on that one. Darts, nice sports. And a past time. Ed i got 9 or 10 tweets about darts. Pete i do play darts. Are you good at parlor game . I feel like my chances im going to stop putting expectations. Abby enjoy the morning and the jacket. Ed im going to wear the green the rest of the day. Remember, this started basically last weekend when the president started tweeting about we have got to do more to secure the southern border. And his critics were saying this is talk. Its rhetoric. And actually, its action. The president series of executive actions over the last couple of days to try and stop the catch and release pream, for example. And now we seat National Guard troops arriving at the southern border, beginning of 4,000, were told that will be there eventually. Abby here is what the president tweeted yesterday. We are sealing up our southern border. The people of our great country they want safety and security. The dems have been a disaster on this very important issue. Pete earlier in the program, were going to hear from someone who oversaw the bush era deployment. We also heard from a leader in the texas National Guard saying they are already Forward Deployed. Those who need weapons will be having them because we heard a question about that. If you are in the headquarters, you dont necessarily need one. You are out in the field assisting Law Enforcement. You would. We also asked Lieutenant General steven blum. He oversaw the border deployment. He had strong opinions about the worth while nature of what the president is doing here. Listen. These are suburb citizen soldiers. They have all of the skills, training, and discipline of our best units in the United States army and air force. The only difference is they come with civilian skills and Life Experience. My recommendation is that he this would be armed. They have been armed in every other event before this on the border. This is a brilliant idea to use the guard. It is precisely the secret sauce that delivers the unity of effort between the locals, the state, the federal governments of both United States and mexico. The only people that view this as a threat are the coyotes and the cartels. Abby he led the mission under the george w. Bush days in 2006, sending thousands of troops to the border. He is someone who has been through. This he can help us better understand the impact the troops will have on the border. Ed i agree with just about everything he has said as the a journalist these are the best and the brightest. These men and women are going down, they are equipped and trained. Thats all awesome. The part where he said this is the secret sauce to maybe finally secure the border, my question is he led the bush effort as said that was in 2006. I covered it then fast forward to barack obama in 2010. Did he something similar. Not as many National Guard troops, about 2,000 or. So the point is here we are going back to george w. Bush, right . Abby they had 6,000 troops at that point. Ed more than a decade later, pete. We are still trying to secure the border. Pete correct the good general. The real secret sauce is President Donald Trump you have a commanderinchief secure that border wall. A real solution. I believe 2006 and 2010, neither were proponents of that real solution on the border of a border wall. Use the National Guard to stem the tide and as a motivator to do something bigger and larger and more permanent, you can see this as a very useful step and not just to stop the measure. You want to use the guard every five years to do a little bit here and there can you use them now and build the border wall and remind congress they should have done this. Ed trying to light a fire under the Justice Department. Tweeting yesterday lawmakers of the House Judiciary Committee are angry accusing that Justice Department of missing the thursday dead line of turning over unredacted documents relating to fisa abuse, comey, Loretta Lynch, mccabe, Clinton Emails and much more. Slowwalking, what is going on . Bad. The president says what does the department of justice and the fbi have to hide . Why arent they giving the strongly requested documents unredacted to the House Judiciary Committee stalling for what reason . Not looking good. When he calls out the Justice Department, this is his Justice Department. Abby is he frustrated at the lack of transparency. Frustrated how long its taken to get these documents handed over to the committee who has been asking for them a long time. Devin nunes, we have him on few moments ago on the show, we asked him specifically about the documents pertaining to the russia probe and fisa warrant to get clearance for carter page who was an advisor to donald trump on the campaign. Here is what he said about where things are and why they are frustrated. I keep trying to tell this to the department of justice and the fbi. Congress created the department of justice and the fbi. They are the ones that opened an investigation into a president ial campaign using our Counter Intelligence capability. So this in and of itself was unprecedented. The American People know its crazy. And the longer that they keep very basic information from us, like show us the two pages, on what led you to plee you should open the investigation into the campaign. The more they block this from us, i think the more the American People are going to become frustrated and look badly on the Justice Department and the fbi. Pete provide oversight of the executive branch. At the same time the department of justice, i had a chance to meet with a couple of officials this week. They are saying we are doubling the amount of agents. We want to comply with this. We want to be transparent. It takes time to redact. There is a process. I think there definite solid a frustration with some of the political appointees at doj. Who are committed to what this president is doing who feel like the middle portion. Are able to slowwalk the process. There is a sense that. So stuff thats going to come out, not so good. No reason why Jeff Sessions has to own it. It all happened under a Previous Administration that may have politicized that process. I think they want to get it out there. If you are sitting in one of those committees and trying to get information, how frustrating is that. Abby when they say redact the documents its that black marker that they use to cover up information. Ed sometimes legitimate. Abby sometimes legitimate that the fbi and doj feels is too sensitive to see. You asked a good question to devin nunes doesnt he have the background clearance to see whatever might be in those documents . Pete chairman of the House Intel Committee he better have it i bet he does. Abby the question why it has taken so long. The doj is standing by their claims look we have to go through these documents. They are sensitive and important. We will give them everything they have been asking for. Pete great job covering all of this. He tells us the people at the justifiable department are going to be seeing some of these documents as early as tomorrow and theyre going to be producing it. We will see. Its time for them to put up or shut up i suppose. Pete thats right. Abby we do have other headlines we want to bring you. Russia ends its support for the Syrian Regime after one of the worst Chemical Attacks in the countrys history. Heartbreaking pictures come in showing children. So sad. Gasping for air in the attack that killed at least 70 people. More than 500 others have been injured. A rebel group acued could you seeing the assad regime dropping barrel bombs in the city. The government denies any involvement. The u. N. Security now calling to the end of the violence there. The latest attack coming after last years saharan massacre which prompted the trump administrations air strikes against a Syrian Air Base. Gillian turner will have more in a live report for us in just a few moments. Do you not want to miss that this is all breaking this morning. Abby 6 firefighters hurt. Can you see the flames shootings out from an apartment on the 50th floor. Art dealer tom brazner pulled out of the home. Firefighters thanking them for the great job that he this did. Top lawmaker questioning our military following the fourth crash this week chairman of the House Armed Services committee Mac Thornberry calling the crash heart breaking. The readiness of our military crisis point. Michael waltz joined us earlier on the show and here was his reaction. Our military, and particularly our aviation fleet is flat worn out after 17 years of continuous war and particularly after 8 years of budget cuts under president obama. Ache be a two soldiers were killed when their apache went down during training. Seven Service Members have died in crashe crash this week. So sad. All of the ways to lose a baseball game. This one might be the worst. Gregman pops it up. Wow. The defending world series champion Houston Astros beating san diego 10. The run scoring all the way from second base on that play. Ed they beat my yankees and still winning. No indication of the infield fly rule. There was second on second. It has to be a force. I dont want to correct you, pete. Pete no, ed. You are the baseball guy. Ed i have a little knowledge about baseball. Coming up, will we ever get to the bottom of that fisa scandal . People want accountability. He worked for president bush and says the fbi is back to its old tricks. Pete our friends diamond and silk being censored by facebook. Why the social network is calling them unsafe for the community. You heard it right. Abby do you think so they will have some thoughts today . Pete yeah, right its ladies night oh what a night yes, its ladies night with esurance photo claims, you could have money for repairs within a day. Wow that was really fast. So it doesnt have to hurt for long. Thats insurance for the modern world. Esurance, an allstate company. Click or call. Oone part ribs. Two parts incredible. New steak ribs at outback. 15. 99 for a limited time. Get a 6oz sirloin and make it your own with a choice of honey sriracha, barbecue, or dry rub ribs. So hurry in to outback now. A cockroach can survive submergede guy. Underwater for 30 minutes. Wow. Yeah, wow. Not getting in today. Not on my watch. Pests never stop trying to get in. We never stop working to keep them out. Terminix. Defenders of home. Abby welcome back. Extraordinary accommodation, that what the Justice Department says its making for house intelligence members to documents for fisa investigation. The president is slamming the doj, saying they are still slowwalking those documents. Ed the wall street journal agrees with the president saying in a recent oped that the fbi is back to its old tricks. Here to explain, mainstream columnist for the wall street journal and member of the Editorial Board former speech writer bill mcgurn. Good to see you. Ed you have written extensivelw promises have been made and transparency. This Justice Department, which reports to this president is not listening. No, its incredible that President Trump is complaining about his own Justice Department if he has a problem with it and he thinks he should fire the person who is in charge of disclosing these documents and get someone else or call the attorney general in. Look, two weeks ago, the fbi director issued a statement saying he was not satisfied with the way the fbi was handling congressional requests and subpoenas he was doubling the number of agents to respond to them. More recently we had on friday, i think the chairman was talking to folks chairman nunes, he had asked for this electronic communication, basically a memo on how the whole investigation into donald trump and russia got started. And they want access to this document. They call it electronic communication. Its really a memo. There is a paragraph they wont let them see. And its just crazy. So, what they did was, they sent a letter saying well let you see some of the carter page fisa application stuff, which is good they are letting them see it but they are claiming thats extraordinary accommodation while they are keeping this other stuff hidden off to the side. Abby its a tough position to be in as you said its his Justice Department. A lot of the material theyre waiting to get goes back to the Campaign Days and what evidence they were able to use to get those fisa warrants. How does he handle it . Should he be frustrated right now. Yes, i think he should be frustrated. But i also think he should be active. These are people who work for him. If he is not satisfied. Now, when the president tweeted that he wasnt satisfied, he was referring to the House Judiciary Committee, not the Intel Committee. I have a hard time. Pete believing is he not satisfied. How they are handling request with the Intel Committee, too. He can change it. He can tell someone be more forthcoming with congress and get someone to replace the guy who shandling the stuff now. Ed true. Isnt it true the flip side democrats will say you are pressuring and maybe even firing Jeff Sessions the way you fired comey and there will be another firestorm. I dont think they have to fire Jeff Sessions. Look, isnt it an odd argument to make that more disclosure means like obstructionism . I mean, generally we want president s and administrations to be forthcoming. And i think thats what he should do. He should issue an order or let people know he wants them to be more forthcoming to congress. And someone should, at this point its not just sending over the documents. At this point, the real key are the redactions. You know, we know that earlier redactions, kind of hid this relationship between fbi agent peter strzok and this fisa court judge who had to recuse himself from the general flynn case. There are all sorts of things. Look, if people on the Intel Committee who have security clearances, and represent we, the people, if they cant see the stuff who can . Its absurd. He had theyd suggests they are making a mockery of transparency. Or they dont want to put the stuff out there. A lot of the this stuff has been subpoenaed or requested since august. Abby the eyes will be on the doj the next couple days. They should be. Abby great to have you on the show. All eyes on mark zerk as he prepares to testify this week about facebooks data scandal. Ed executives say if you want to keep your data private, you have to pony up, pay to do it. Can that actually happen . We will explore. Each amazing on their own. But together . Magical. All, for a smoother tasting cup of coffee. Green mountain coffee roasters. Vo they share one planter. And last season, it was a flowering disaster. This year, theyre not messing around. Miraclegro guarantees results with rich potting mix that uses ingredients fresh from the forest. And plant food that adds vital nutrition so youll have three times the blooms. They bask in their success. Miraclegro. Three times the beauty. One powerful guarantee. You know whats not awesome . Gigspeed internet. When only certain people can get it. Lets fix that. Lets give this guy gig really . And these kids, and these guys, him, ah. Oh hello. That lady, these houses yes, yes and yes. And dont forget about them. Uh huh, sure. Still yes xfinity delivers gig speed to more homes than anyone. Now you can get it, too. Welcome to the party. You will. Pete welcome back. Couple quick headlines for you. President trump coming to Scott Pruitts comin defense. He has received Death Threats because of his bold actions, record clean air and water while saving u. S. A. Billions of dollars. And, Florida Governor rick scott expecting to throw his hat into the political ring for the u. S. Senate tomorrow. The republican would be taking on threeterm democratic senator bill nelson which will help determine whether the g. O. P. Maintains cros control of that chamber next year. Abby that will be a race to watch. Thank you, pete. As Mark Zuckerberg prepares to testify in front of congress this week. Sheryl sandberg spent friday on an apology tour. Lets be clear we dont sell peoples data. We dont do it for ads or any other reason. We dont give your data to advertisers. Have you an opt out button please dont use my data for advertising. We have different forms of opt out. We dont have opt out at the highest level. That would be a paid product. Ed if you want to keep your data private, did you catch that . You have to pay for it here to tell us if thats actually even possible to enforce, david kirkpatrick, he is the author of the facebook effect and the founder of the techotomy conference. What do you think of paying for it is that semantics we dont sell your data . They dont need to sell it because they sell it to themselves. In effect. Thats why theyre the most Profitable Company of their size that ever existed. Its kind of a red herring in the sense that it doesnt matter that they dont sell it to others. They still exploit it is the word i would use. Abby what is the motive . We were talking in the commercial break. Do they want to connect the world as they often say publicly . Or is this strictly about making more money for themselves . That really is the big question. Both cheryl sand beg and Mark Zuckerberg in their apology tour this week really did say that our mission is to connect the world and create community and the ads are a way to pay for it i dont buy that at all. Its disingenuous. This is the most Profitable Company that ever happened anywhere. I basically look at this whole recent scandal as and zuckerberg said its a huge mistake they didnt put enough on privacy and security. The question is why did it happen in the reason it happened sadly they were focusing too much on profit and not enough on our security. The hundreds, millions and billions of members. Abby and it happened for so long. And it happened for a very long time. Pete what can and should be done from the perspective of privacy but also to address the concerns of oftentimes its conservatives but individuals who have speech they may deem is inappropriate diamond and silk which is absurd. What can they do to answer that. Its really hard to answer exactly how they should solve these problems. Because they are in an unusual and really a unique position for a commercial company. In that they effectively are defining what is appropriate speech in the Public Square right . Because they are in effect the Public Square for literally 190 countries. Its not just the United States. What kind of a responsibility is that for a special company . Certainly new rules around disclosures with advertising are very good steps forward. They have made a number of steps in the last few days that i do applaud. The problem is they are in a structural situation thats not going to be easy to resolve. Abby do you think he will survive this week you . Are the expert. Survive . He always survives. He completely controls the company. He cant be removed. He would have to remove himself. Ed two days of big testimony this week. Thanks for breaking it down david kirkpatrick. We appreciate it. Ed speaking of facebook, why is it calling diamond and silk unsafe for the company . Pete it triggered too many people. CoulNewt Gingrich says john cox has what it takes. That candidate will join us live next. Abby we introduced you to Peanut Butter and pickle sand witches earlier. It was pretty good. How about m and ms and pizza . Banana and ketchup . You will want to stick around for these crazy combos. What do you think, rick . Anything can happen anything can happen anything can happen happen well, like most of you, i just bought a house. Oh very nice. Now im turning into my dad. I text in full sentences. I refer to every child as chief. This hat was free. What am i supposed to do, not wear it . Next thing you know, im telling strangers defense wins championships. Well, it does. Right . Why is the door open . Are we trying to air condition the whole neighborhood . At least i bundled home and auto on an internet website, progressive. Com. Progressive cant save you from becoming your parents, but we can save you money when you bundle home and auto. I mean, why would i replace this . Its not broken. Pete we are back with a fox news alert. U. S. Demanding rush end with the Syrian Regime after the worst attacks in history. Abby children gasping for air. Ed the last time this happened the president ordered u. S. Air strikes. Gillian turner with the breaking details. Good morning, gillian. Good morning. Dozens have choked to death in what medics and rescue workers believe to be another chemical attack by the assad regime against its own people. Violates every norm, law and code of decency the International Community has agreed upon over the last 70 years. So far rescuers have found 42 people dead in their homes in eastern suburb of syrias capital city damascus. The syrian and russian governments have already gone on defense. Theyre claiming these night mariucci videos, photos and medical reports being circulated online, some we are sharing with viewers are fake. Made up by political enemies of the brutal assad dictatorship. International investigators have yet to independently verify these attacks because the syrian army has the town encircled and under lock down making it completely inaccessible to the outside world. The state department seems convinced about who exactly is to blame. A statement this morning reads in part, the assad regime and its backers must be held accountable and any further attacks prevented immediately. Russia with unwavering support for the regime ultimately bears responsibility for these brutal attacks, targeting of countless civilians and suffocation of syrias most vulnerable communities with chemical weapons. All eyes now will be on President Trump to see what his response is as ed mentioned after a chemical attack last year, he ordered military strikes that disseminated a Syrian Air Base a move that garnered praise from americas allies around the world. Guys . Ed stakes are high. Thanks, gillian. Abby heart breaking photos of those children. Thank you, gizelleian. Other headlines we are following this morning. President of Judicial Watch tom fitton joined us earlier on the show with these words. The Justice Department was a mess under Loretta Lynch. This meeting was an indication or an example of the way it bent over backwards both in appearance and in fact on behalf of Hillary Clinton. Abby comey has said lynchs meeting made him go public about the investigation into Hillary Clintons email server. We will watch that interview closely. Watch this unfacebook community thats what facebook is calling fox friends duo diamond and silk. I want you to want to do the dishes. Why would i want to do dishes . Why . See, thats my whole point. Abby according to the counsel of contemporary families women who say they do all of the most dishwashing are most unhappy in their relationship compared to any other household chore. It is because dirty dishes can be a constant problem. Rick would agree with that. Earlier we asked what do you think . Well tina writes definitely doing the dishes will wreck relationships, lol. And i keep the master bedroom and dining room clean. My wife. To be in charge of the dishes. Collin has an easy solution. If everyone washes dishes immediately after usage they will rarely accumulate. Rick what about the pots and pans. Pete if you cook do you do the dishes or if you cook the other person. Abby we have a rule whoever cooks doesnt do the dishes. Ed good incentive to cook. Chef, whats the answer should you cook should you do the dishes. I agree i should not do the dishes if you cook. You have to share the love. Abby yesterday we talked about the rare combination of Peanut Butter and pickles. We tried it on the show even though it was better than we thought. Ed second and third bite was great. Actually pretty tasty. Abby is pa nut butter bad with anything . Can you think of anything bad with Peanut Butter i would think it would be pickle but its good. Ed i like Peanut Butter it is good. Abby get to the dill its has a little sweet to it mixed with the salty. Pete deep analysis right there. Today we wanted to see what other crazy combinations are actually delicious today. Ed we already teeseed them out. Foods to test our taste bud. You have got to get this book for the title alone, cooking in boxers. What does that mean . Its a breakfast in bed concept. I keep it real. Be aable what do you have. Thank you for having me with these crazy combos. I will show you they are not so crazy as we thought. Start with Peanut Butter bacon dog. Starting with a little sir Sriracha Mayo. Thithis is great. Run down to your Asian Grocery aisle in the Grocery Store and pick that up. Put the hot dog with the Peanut Butter layered there onions. Everything is better with bacon. A great smoke and cured bacon. It works well with the Peanut Butter. Cured to perfection. Smithfield is great for that tuft a Little Cheese on top as well. Abby its salty. Its good though. With the Sriracha Mayo thats actually thai. Its an asian twist this is ketchup, actually, guys, banana ketchup. I will run through a few things that are in there. Onion, garlic, tumeric, soy sauce. Ginger, honey. Tomato paste. You are good for that somebody might be a little sick later. Abby how is it, pete . Pete its a combo. M m pizza guys. Do you know who will love this . The kids,. Abby look how cute this is. Use saw isalsa for tomato sa. Abby rick, you were eating this in the commercial. How does that work you . Like that. Some people like sweet and salty, i think that works. Rick fair. Donuts. Run to your asian aisle and get some sriracha chili. People wouldnt think this, but the warm garlic and red chili works well on donuts. Pete garlic and chili on donuts . Chili sauce mixed with raspberry jam. Really great. Rick normally food segments all the food is gone. I have to be honest with you a lot of food. Pete i think this is the best combo. Its tasty. Warm garlic and red chili. Abby put straight sriracha on it im not sure. Ed what do you wash it all down with . Oh my gosh, water. Definitely, yes. Great combos. Abby thank you so much. Ed good luck with the book. Thank you. Pete as i chew and read james comey set to hit the road for book tour. Former fbi agent sells he could walk right into a, quote, perjury trap. Bumpadum, bumbumbumbum pete liberal california hasnt had a republican governor since Arnold Schwarzenegger left office in 2011. Is the sanctuary state finally ready for conservative change . Ed former speaker of the house and Fox News ContributorNewt Gingrich thinks republican john cox has what it takes. Here is weigh wrote in an oped. Californians would benefit from coxs conservative leadership. We need to every directions at every level. California governor for california governor john cox joins us now. Good morning, john. Good morning. Great to be with you guys. Ed the sense im getting from Republican Leaders like Newt Gingrich is there are a lot of g. O. P. Politicals who throw up their hand and say they cant possibly win in california and they dont even try. Thats nonsense. Jerry brown is the only democrat thats been elected in the last 50 years. Greg davis was recalled. You know, Newt Gingrich is a great conservative leader and a patriot. He knows what it takes to win. He has given, you know, he has given people the opinion that i can win and i think he is right. You know, republicans are really overjoyed at my candidacy. They know that i have a chance. Im a business leader. There is 19 states around the country now that have elected Business Leaders as governor because we get things done. We solve problems. You know, the politicians in california create a lot of problems. They made the state virtually unaffordable. They have driven business out of the state. They waste money. They mismanage the roads, the education system, the forest. People have had enough. They want a change. And i think they will get that in 2018. Pete john, running as a republican in california, what kind of change are you running on . What are the issues that you are leading with . First of all, this criminal idea of the sanctuary state movement, i mean, the people are upset about this because it looks like their leaders are valuing illegal alien criminals, instead of law abiding residents. People hire our Public Officials to protect them. Thats the first job of government. I applaud orange county. I applaud the Northern Counties and now my home county of san diego is going to vote to oppose this policy. Im a great friend of sam abet who is the immigrant mayor of escondido and he has led that city to oppose these policies. People just want to live in peace. They dont want these politicians stirring up the pot and making people angry. I mean, thats counter productive. Ed i want to ask you about the most recent poll we saw. It has gavin newsom. Lieutenant governor, mayor of San Francisco at 28 . John cox you are at 14 . Antonio, the former travis allen 10. You can look at that 14 points behind gavin newsom. I mentioned he was a mayor and now Lieutenant Governor and now 28 . He is nowhere near a majority. If i were him, i would be worried. He hasnt cracked 30 yet. He has been running for governor for 15 years. Relatively few people still dont know me. 30 of republicans dont know who i am yet. Thats going to change. Obviously, this is an open seat. People are going to be energized. And i will tell you what, ed. People are ready for something different. The price of gasoline now is reaching 4 a gallon. Im the leader of the gas tax repeal thats going to get rid of the taxes on that. People are being pounded into the floor. Ed i mentioned a moment ago, pardon me, you are only at 1 . He has been running for governor forever under a are a newcomer but you are at 14 . Another businessman named donald trump as you know was an outsider and was able to put it all together. Can you really get it done . Well, he was on tv for a lot of years and i havent been. You know, again, i think people are paying attention or starting to. I think that will happen even more as we get into the november elections. Im number two. As you might know california has this top 2 system. I think republicans are really really starting to Pay Attention and know that i can talk about the issues and im going to talk about improving the quality of life. I mean, thats what Political Leadership ought to be about. Right now the politicians are there and they are making people angry or scared. Im going to talk about solutions that make peoples lives better. I really believe thats what people elect political leaders to do. And i think thats what california needs tremendously. Pete people deserve a choice. California is unique. There is no party primary. So everyone runs in the primary on june 5th. The top two vote gertz ar are you at 14 as of now would be the next pick. Appreciate your time. Certainly sanctuary cities is a huge issue. Not popular among a lot of people. Huge issue. Ed thank you. Remember this powerful photo of pastors paying with the president in the oval office. There is speculation of another high profile meeting in the works. Night through its entirety. Come on, all. The time from sunset to sunrise. Right. But you can trade. From, from. From darkness to light. Youre not gonna say it are you . Abby welcome back to fox friends and happy sunday to you. There is talk of a high profile meeting between President Trump and eevangelical leaders this summer. Some leaders are concerned that are evangelical leaders may be losing enthusiasm ahead of the 2018 mid terms. The head of the conservative group reportedly calling for the meeting saying this we are in this environment of unease, definitely among evangelicals as people of faith we should cheer him on when he does right. But when he goes outside the boundaries we also need to be a voice of accountability. Here to weigh in is Senior Pastor of First Baptist dallas, a trump supporter and Fox News Contributor pastor Robert Jeffress. Pastor, great to have you on this morning. Thanks, abby. Abby all right. So help clear this up because there are also reports from npr, the Washington Post saying that some evangelical leaders want this meeting to use it to approach him about things theyre concerned about, stormy daniels, they say divisive language, daca among other issues. Whats going on here . Look, there is talk of a meeting but its not to confront the president. Its certainly not because of any unease among evangelicals. You know, abby, the latest Pew Research Poll shows that the president has a 78 Approval Rating among evangelicals. That is amazingment especially when you consider that he was elected with 81 of evangelical voters. Thats the largest margin in history. That means in 16 months there has been no slippage virtually in his support. And, look, the reason evangelicals overwhelmingly support this president is not because he has a perfect past. None of us has that. Its because of his strong leadership and also because hes fulfilling the policy commitments that he has made. If this meeting happens, im not sure its going to. But, if it does it, will be to celebrate President Trumps accomplishments, not to relitigate his past. Nobody wants to do that. Abby voters knew about his past before they went to the ballot box. Do you think this meeting with the trump and evangelical leaders, do you think that should happen . Do you think that would be a good thing . Oh, the major purpose of this meeting and it is being talked about, i have talked with some folks this week about it, would be to turn out voters in the midterm election. Thats the major motivation here. We need a congress that enact the policies that President Trump ran on and won on. So thats going to be the focus. Im sure the president will be invited, but it will be a very cordial meeting if he chooses to accept that invitation. Abby all right, pastor Robert Jeffress, good to have you on the show. Thank you, abby. Abby still coming up on the show, elected leaders and parents of children killed by Illegal Immigrants taking a stand against californias sanctuary laws. Releasing criminals back into the community, and then these people telling us that thats going to make cities safer is outrageous and ridiculous. Abby Democratic State senator kevin deleon behind the policies here to defend them next hour. Plus Alan Dershowitz and diamond and silk and our own Maria Bartiromo; stay with us. Saving you time, so you can keep saving the world. I will not rest until we have secured our borders and restored the rule of law. Abby the doj are making extraordinary accommodations for the house intel members to view the fisa docs. This is something that should have been done a long time ago and the longer they keep very basic information from us its going to look badly on the department of justice and the fbi. Pete diamond silk they say that facebook is censoring their facebook page. This is a reply from facebook. The policy team has come to the conclusion that your content, diamond silk, and your brand, has been determined unsafe to the community. Am i glad to make this . Ed watch it, pete. [applause] abby the ultimate symbol of success because you won our masters at fox friends. Pete your whole life has led up to this point. Ed oh, yeah, actually yes. [applause] pete [laughter] abby this is getting out of hand. This is out of hand. Ed got to do a green jacket. Pete it was a great fasters. Pete it was, you missed one put ed ive got somebody on twitter saying im pretty sure Musical Chairs is a sport, give pete a chance. Abby people care about you pete pete ive heard a lot about an eating contest, a hot dog eating contest. Abby how does that jacket feel . We are in the fourth hour now of the show. Ed i might wear it on another weekend just for the heck of it even if the masters isnt on. Pete hes going to want to walk in every shot of every weekend. Ed this is just so exciting. But there is a lot of news happening. Pete and the masters it is true the final day of the masters. Abby but there is a lot of news and the president is doubling down on border security. Here he was tweeting out yesterday saying we are ceiling up our southern border the people of our great country, they want safety and security. The dems have been a disaster on this very important issue youve got National Guard troops on the border of arizona now texas theyre asking for 4,000. Ed thats what it looks like its going to be. Remember that you had george w. Bush sending about 6,000 to 6,500 back in 2006 and president obama in 2,010 sending 1,200 to 2,000 National Guard troops to the border earlier on the show we had lt. General steven blum retired oversaw the bush era border deployment here is why he thinks this is so important. These are superb citizen soldiers. They have all of the skills, training and discipline of our best units in the United States army and air force. The only difference is that they come with civilianacquired skills and Life Experience. My recommendation is that they would be armed theyve been armed in every other event before this on the border. This is a brilliant idea to use the guard. It is precisely the secret sauce that delivers the unity of effort between the locals, the state, the federal government of both the United States and mexico. The only people that view this as a threat are the coyotes and cartells. Pete its true ed youve reverenced previous president s who have done this, neither of which were dedicated to truly ceiling the southern border both of which propose some level of amnesty but this president is saying ive got to seal it, i want to seal it, im committed to ceiling it congress has only given me a billion and a half dollars to Start Building that border wall and if thats not going t move if this deal isnt going to happen then ill take what lawful executive action i can to include as commanderinchief mobilizing the National Guard and weve got states voluntarily sending troops down there up to 4,000 and from what ive heard not just from that general but from the texas National Guard theyre excited about the ability to come along side local Law Enforcement and actually do what the people demand which is bring sovereignty to this country which has out of control immigration right now. Its not meritbased, its not skillbased its can you get your foot inside and then you get caught and released at which point you can bring in through chain migration family. Thats whats being debated. Ed previous times the National Guard troops by the way its largely been intelligence gathering. Abby a lot of it for drugs coming into this country. Ed so this might be different because it might be more aggressive. Abby i think you make a good point theres still a question about the long Term Solution because general mattis signed a memo on friday for the troops to go to the border, 4,000 of them and it would last until the end of septa cording to this memo so the question is what happens after that . What happens between now and september how much better will the situation get having the National Troops there to help support and then what do we do . What is the answer . Pete ive seen deployments extended a few times, this could also be, i dont want to say part of a negotiation. I think its a policy proposal from this president but also how does washington treat this do you want troops deployed at the border or do you finally pass legislation that brings a wall to our southern border. Theyve been more interested in resisting than in building a wall. They hate the wall more than they love daca. Abby weve had Border Patrol agents on the show even last weekend we did. Was it judd . Pete brandon judd. Abby hes such an interesting perspective on what he sees every day on the border and how the National Troops could help but he made the point of this shouldnt be political. He said this is about the safety and the security of the American People. Everyone should want to improve that. Ed major National Security issues securing the border dealing with illegal immigration , breaking overnight we have another big National Security issue thats why its a fox news alert dozens dead in this chemical attack in syria a little earlier on the show we exclusively had the house intel chairman devon nunes on hes trying to get a briefing on this to get a handle on this because remember the last time we had an attack like this a chemical attack in syria in 2,017, President Trump ordered u. S. Strikes decimated an air base in syria and breaking right now the president has just tweet ed about this attack saying many dead, including women and children, in mindless chemical attack in syria, area is in lockdown and en circled by the syrian army making it completely in accessible to the outside world. President putin, russia and iran are responsible for backing animal asad. Big price to pay open area, immediately for medical help and varification. Another humanitarian disaster for no reason whatsoever. Abby 70 people have been killed so far in this attack many of them children and weve been getting photos in from our news room they are absolutely heartbreaking when you see whats going on there at least 500 have been injured so this is a very serious situation and putting a lot of pressure it sounds like in that warning from the president on russia. Pete he called out president putin by name, russia in iran by name which we both know have heavily backed the butcher assad in syria whose clung to power there, used Chemical Attacks before on his own people and basically solidified his power because of the backing of de facto Russian Troops because of the backing of iranian troops so to call them out showcases that we still have a great deal of interest in that area. Hes talked about should we keep troops in syria or not. A lot will definitely abby the timing is very interesting and as you said ed the last time there was an attack like this there was a response from the u. S. There were those air strikes. Ed we have something on that perhaps which was just on abcs this week the sunday morning news program, he is the president to Homeland Security advisor inside the white house and he said to George Stephanopolos that there is nothing off the table in terms of dealing with this chemical attack in syria so that gives you an idea that certainly u. S. Military action is at least on the table. Abby its interesting reading that tweet just now from the president that he is engaged and clearly, upset as he should be of what were seeing come out of that. Ed i think as pete noted the calling out of putin he wont take on putin or challenge putin and he called assad an animal. Pete well assad is a prop of moscow and tehran. He has been and he owes his life to them and to see him now using chemical weapons if not with the assistance of but at least with the knowledge of russia in iran at this point they know what hes doing and at some point theyve having to approve it or be aware of it to call them out broadens this despite the problem is what do you do next because he controls so much of the ground you still have the isis equation, islamist turck chi is not an allie at all. Abby very complicated. Pete without eyes and boots on the ground at some level hard for change so well be following it very very closely and as ed said no options off the table for the trump adminitration. Abby which is so sad seeing whats going on. Well follow that closely of course but i do want to bring you other serious headlines coming into our news room starting with the fox news alert one person is dead, six firefighters hurt after a fire rips through trump tower here in new york city. You can see there the flames shooting out from an apartment on the 50th floor. Art dealer todd bradner pulled out from the the home and unfortunately later passed away. Its unclear what sparked that fire. No members of the first family were there at the time. President trump tweeting firefighters thanking them for the great job they did. Well, john bolton is tweeting moments ago about starting his new role thomas National Security advisor and a lot on his place. The former u. S. Ambassador saying tomorrow i look forward as starting as National Security advisor to keep america safe and secure in these challenging times. Bolton also recently tweeting this picture with h. R. Mcmaster who of course resigned from that position last month. Well, the first tee times of todays final round of the masters now less than an hour away and a sunday show down is taking shape. How about patrick reed . Abby that is 27 year old american patrick reed, the leader in the clubhouse at 14 under par and a three shot lead over rory mcill roy, boy it will be a good day of golf today who will get the real green jacket . Ed ive got it already. Pete are you going to wear it all day . Ed i probably will. Taking it back to washington, wearing it monday and tuesday. Pete you earned it buddy. Its true. Well moving on diamond silk being censored by facebook, the social network calling them unsafe for the community. Diamond silk here to respond coming up. Ed and james comey ready to hit the road for his book tour but a former fbi agent says he could be walking right into a perjury trap. Is that true . Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz would know and hes going to iowa in next. Pete hes here. Abby come on in professor. Not skype. Hes live here. Ed were used to seeing you on skype from miami. Whoooo. Going somewhere . Heres some advice. Tripadvisor now searches more. Than 200 booking sites to find the hotel you want and save you up to 30 . Trust this birds words. Tripadvisor. Nothing runs like a deere. Save 250 dollars when you test drive and buy a john deere residential z540r ztrak mower. Ed this is a fox news alert we mentioned just a couple moments ago President Trump tweeting about the syria attack this chemical attack writing that many are dead including women and children in mindless chemical attack in syria, area is in lockdown and encircled by the syrian army making it in accessible to the outside world and president putin, russia and iran are responsible for backing animal assad big price to pay open immediately for medical help and another humanitarian disaster for no reason whatsoever absolutely sick. Abby here to weigh in Alan Dershowitz, harvard law professor, professor great to have you on the show today. Thank you. Abby important timing to get your perspective first on this breaking news coming out of syria and the president s initial response in his tweet sounding very direct at russia, but in particular, Vladimir Putin what is your response and how should we move forward from here . Well i think the president has no choice. He must respond and i think he will respond, he wont make the tragic mistake that president obama for whom i voted made and that is creating a red line then violating it essentially invit ing the russians to come in by creating a vaccuum and these deaths are horrible and tragic, dont expect the u. N. To do anything about it theyre busy worrying about people trying to cross the fence from gaza and condemning israel for just defending itself, but they wont do anything to stop this horrible killing of children and women. Deliberate willful targeting of women and children. The United States has to do something about it. Were the only game in town. Ed pardon me, alan, but the president tweeted again in the last moment and mentions that red line. President saying if president obama had crossed his stated red line in the sand, the syrian disaster would have ended long ago, animal assad, second time hes called him would have been history. Hes making the point you made a moment ago i was in the Briefing Room at the white house when president obama said theres the red line for me would be assad using chemical weapons and then he used those chemical weapons and barack obama didnt do nothing. Well he arranged for a deal where assad promised on his word of honor he would give up all the chemical weapons and we believed him and we have to learn a lesson from that and learn a lesson about iran promises from dictators are worthless. We have to see action. We have an obligation in the name of humanity to prevent these killings. Abby and we have already right . The last chemical attack in syria President Trump did respond with air strikes. Do you think he should do something similar this time when you talk about action what does that mean . Well what he did last time is bomb the airports from which the barrel bomb planes had come. Thats at least the minimum of what he has to do, but there has to be red lines that clearly indicate that if this continues to happen, if he continues to kill civilians, there has to be an international response. He has to be held responsible. The International Criminal court has to gear up. This is something that we just cant let happen. Weve seen too many mass killings in our century and we just cant let it continue. I think this president will stand strong against that and i hope he can stop this guy. Nobody else has stopped him. Abby were seeing horrific photos of these children, many of them have been killed 70 killed so far at least 500 have been and deliberate. Theyre not collateral deaths theyre deliberate willful killings of civilians in order to recapture that area in rebel control. Thats not the way you fight wars today. Ed another big story we want to get to weve been talking about whether President Trump will do a one on one interview with Robert Mueller is that a perjury trap now james comey is going out with his book tour and actual low pressure an exfbi agent is saying he could be walking into a perjury trap. Watch this. Half of the country believes that when he comes out with this book there is going to be evidence there, that is going to lead to the president s either indictment or potentially an impeachment hearings. James comey has put himself into a perjury trap position and hes going to be talking about things meaning interactions with the president and set himself up to purposely or Say Something thats not consistent with what hes going to have told the special prosecutor. Ed well counselor what say you . Well he has to learn a little bit more law. If you Say Something unwittingly that turns out to be inconsistent what you said before, thats not perjury. Lets not go down the road of criminalizing political differences, even with people you disagree with. If you dont like what comey wrote dont read his book. Write a bad review. Look i wonder if he even mentions why he felt he had to lander leaked information through a columbia professor instead of having the courage to stand up in front of the tv cameras and say this is me speaking. I wonder if he addresses that issue in the book because the head of the fbi whose in charge of stopping leaks shouldnt be conducting leaks and laundering them through professors. Abby well whether its in the book he will likely be asked about it when he does his book tour next week. I hope so. Abby do you think he could be in trouble or does he have to be thoughtful about everything . Hes going to be thoughtful and not commit perjury. This idea of throwing around perjury and criminal charges against anybody you dont like, i dont like it when its done against democrats, republicans, we have to reserve the criminal law only for the most extreme willful deliberate violations of existing statutes. Theyre not doing that with trump now talking about collusion, find me collusion in the statute books you cant find it. You cant just make up crimes and hope that they exist if you dont like somebody, and people are doing that on both sides of the aisle. Ed we will not be launching perjury charges against us, theres a great book out there. Abby always good to get your perspective. Thank you. Ed coming up the antisanctuary movement is sweeping across california. Elected leaders are taking a stand to define these policies but this morning we have the democrat who wrote the law in california making it a sanctuary state. Pete Interviews Senate leader kevin deleon next. New venus pla. A premium metal handle boosts control. To reveal up to 100 smooth skin. Venus pete welcome back well elected officials and city leaders in california taking a stand fighting against the states sanctuary laws. This comes down to public safety, so we really have to fight for against this bad law. Sacramentos engaging in the use of local control. This is the right thing to do. You know, i was elected mayor to keep the constitution to uphold the constitution and to keep our community safe. Pete so why does the man behind california sanctuary bill think the law is a good idea . California state senator Senate Leader kevin deleon joins me now kevin thanks for joining us. I believe you passed this bill because you thought it would better your state. Whats your motivation for a sanctuary state bill . Well, pete a couple things. One i want to say good morning and greetings from the great state of california. A couple things. One is that what we want to do in california is make sure that those who enforce federal immigration laws will do their job. Those who will protect and serve our local communities throughout the state of california will do their job, so in other words this should be a separation between the duties of the federal government and the duties of or local Police Officers. Our Police Officers are here to protect and serve our local communities. One point i want to make is very important, pete, is that we dont want crime to increase. Therefore we dont want immigrant families who perhaps are a witness to a crime or worse, a victim to a crime, afraid of calling Police Officer s because they may be turned in over to ice agents so thats why its really important that we protect our communities and also at the same time, those who have committed violent felonies they should be gone. Pete so i hear that line a lot but what youre effectively saying is we want local Law Enforcement to deal with this and if an illegal commits a crime were not going to notify the feds to retain that person even if theyve committed a crime, so how does that make your Community Safer by ignoring federal law and frankly, applying it inequally to illegal s and to citizens . Well let me say this, pete im glad you brought up this point. Theres some misconceptions, really gross misconceptions about this measure that has unfortunately been perpetuated from the white house and specifically from the department of justice, Jeff Sessions and his team. The reality is this. There is a list of more than 800 crimes on my bill, in my bill, senate bill 54, that if you are a criminal violent felon, and youve committed 800 crimes or any of the crimes on the list, ice, local Police Officers i should say, can collaborate, can cooperate, with ice agents. Pete so states are opting not to though thats the point. The problem is the law official has latitude to choose not to and is entering this country without lawful means and illegal act in and of itself. Entering this country is a civil offense. Pete is it illegal . Entering this country is a civil offense let me be very clear. Its not a criminal offense. Let me be very clear about one thing, pete. I think you and i will agree that we have a disfunctional and we have a broken immigration system. No question about it whether youre on the right or the left, whether youre pointing in between to the politics altogether. The congress, both democrats as well as republicans, and this President Donald Trump has to do something about it. The fact is that setting military men and women who are highly trained to protect americans not just on american soil but throughout the world sending them to the border makes utterly no sense given the fact the border crossings are at a 50 year low. Pete San Diego County is about to vote to opt out of your bill or want to opt out of your bill. Theyve benefited from a border wall. When you make these arguments do you think about the Family Living on the other side of the fence, 50100meters away who have people whether theyre trafficking in drugs or humans or coming here peacefully literally in full traiting their neighborhoods and backyards what about that local california citizen whose here and wants to live peacefully and feels like theyre b invaded is not a wall a proper way to address that problem . Pet i grew up in san diego and i can tell you this let me give you a statistical fact that perhaps folks on fox friends may not convey to the rest of america. Border crossings to the United States is at a 50 year low. If its at a 50 year low youd explain to me why wouldnt it make sense for the taxpayers pete but 200 more people were apprehended in march. Whether it be from arizona. Pete from illegal crossings than were apprehended in march of 2,017 so we still have a border with crimes being committed by illegals. This remains a problem and well play sound from don rosenberg, he obviously disagrees with you and his son drew was killed by an illegal. Theyve got a different point of view. Listen. The misnomer about this sanctuary state law is it doesnt protect illegal aliens at all. It only protects illegal aliens who have committed crimes and it clearly, it is a blight on public sat. Releasing criminals back into the community and then these people telling us that thats going to make cities safer is outrageous and ridiculous. Pete kevin many parents its not the first time they cross the border but the second or third or fourth time after being deported multiple times, wouldnt you say its illegal to cross two, three, four times and what do you say to those families . Well i would say to those families who have lost their loved ones my heart goes out to them. These are tragedies that should have never taken place. If in fact you are an immigrant it doesnt make a difference where you are from ireland, canada, china or south of the border if you are a violent criminal felon, you should be in prison. Ive always taken a position that if you commit a crime in california or for that matter any part of the country, you shouldnt be deported that quickly. You should do your time in our prison system. Why should we reward you by sending you back to your country of origin but let me get back to the point that its very pete briefly. Wasting taxpayer dollars on the border, when immigration is at a alltime low pete kevin i had a viewer ask me what does it cost her legal resident in california to support one illegal resident who do receive Welfare Benefits so you can play the cost card. Kevin i want to finish this where i started though. I will disagree pete. Pete we will of course in the way we spend taxpayer dollars. Well put up a full screen. I talked about not wanting to impute motives of a couple of things youve said about illegal immigration in the past and i want to go to the second statement that you made basically saying that anyone who wants the wall, can we put the screen up i dont know if we have it, the middle one there, sessions and the trump adminitration are raising, basing their Law Enforcement policies on principles of White Supremacy so if i believe in rule of law if i believe in the wall, why does that make me a white supremities . Im not saying that you yourself are pete no or President Trump or Jeff Sessions. But give me an opportunity to finish my point and im not saying those who perhaps believe that we should build a physical structure on the southern border believe in White Supremacy. What i said very specifically and clearly is this president , donald j. Trump and this attorney general Jeff Sessions their policies are driven by White Supremacy. Pete how do you have a debate when youre calling him racist so therefore theres no way to have a debate about this. I think you can have a policy debate about taxpayer dollars. Kevin we unfortunately have to leave it right there. I appreciate you coming on our program. Lets do it again. Pete id like to do it again. Youve got it its a date more fox friends on the other side. In the modern world, it pays to switch things up. You can switch and save time. [cars honking] [car accelerating] you can switch and save worry. You can switch and save hassle. [vacuuming sound] and when you switch to esurance, you can save time, worry, hassle and yup, money. In fact, drivers who switched from geico to esurance saved hundreds. So you might want to think about pulling the ol switcheroo. Thats auto and Home Insurance for the modern world. Esurance. An allstate company. Click or call. And butch. Aura. And tank. And tiny. And this is lauras mobile dog grooming palace. Laura can clean up a retriever that rolled in foxtails, but shes not much on articles of organization. Articles of what . So, she turned to legalzoom. They helped me out. She means we helped with her llc, trademark, and a lot of other legal stuff thats a part of running a business. So laura can get back to the dogs. Would you sit still . This is lauras mobile dog grooming palace and this is where life meets legal. Abby welcome back. Well, unsafe for the community is what facebook is reportedly calling diamond silk, the response coming after the pair contacted facebook nearly seven months ago after noticing their fans werent receiving notifications about their new online content. Ed well diamond silk say facebook responded with this comment. The policy team has come to the conclusion that your content and brand has been determined unsafe to the community. Pete diamond silk join us live to respond. I just started feeling a little unsafe. Thank you both for being here. Did they give you, i mean, i just want to let you comment on it but what rationale could they or would they give you for saying that your content is unsafe . They gave us no rationale. The only thing they told us was that it was unsafe for the community, and my theory is we are two women, two women of color, so how are we and our content our brand unsafe for the community. We dont sell drugs, were not laying out in the streets, were not thugs, we dont belong to a gang so how are we unsafe to the community . Thats right. It bothers me, it taints our brand, it taints us, as women, and facebook is supposed to be an entity where they want equality for women. Thats right. Well why are you censoring two women of color, two black women . Why are you not allowing our viewers or our followers in life to view our content because you deem it unsafe and you cant even give us an explanation as to why. Abby well facebook as you know is under the microscope at the moment. Weve reached out to facebook weve not yet heard back from them about this particular situation, but as we said a moment ago this started about seven months ago where you both started noticing the activity levels were going down. Walk us through what happened. Well it was in september we noticed that there was a pause on our page where one day we were doing good and the very next day all of our numbers just dropped and we kept viewing it and viewing it and everything was dropping. People was not receiving notifications. We got emails, we got tweet s, we got messages that they couldnt even get notifications that our post was not show up on their feed, that they couldnt even like our page or couldnt even go to the mechanism to see our page first. We kept getting that information from the people. They hadnt seen us in a long time. We have email after email of this information and we have been corresponding with facebook for exactly six months 29 days five hours 40 minutes and 43 seconds for them to get a response back to us and they have given us several bogus responses on this and that and so they came to this here conclusion that we are deemed, or content and brand is deemed unsafe to the community. Ed well its interesting because as we tease this segment of viewer that i dont know just sent me an email and said that dana parino, here at fox recently posted on facebook a thing about homelessness in Silicon Valley and how could all these great tech minds some of the smartest people in the world not help figure this out and he posted on there, its because they dont care. That was his opinion. He says facebook censored that and took it down. He said it wasnt any more offensive than that so my question is what is going on . I thought this was a community as long as youre not threatening someones life or using vulgar language and all kinds of other things i think we would all agree should be within the norm why in the world are they censoring this stuff . Because theyre trying to become a dictator. Here is the deal. Were all just saying that facebook is a private entity but theyre open to the public so when you open to the public the rules have to be the same for everybody. I cant go in the Grocery Store and sell silk white milk and i can only buy chocolate milk. I should be able to buy white milk if i want to buy white milk too so he cant say because i dont like your conservative views, im going to make sure everybody can be seen. Listen, we built this from ground up. One person at a time and at least let our followers and our life see and view our content so whats unfair about it is that youre not allowing our people to like and follow our page to view us because you think, you said, who makes a determination on whats unsafe because ive seen a lot of things on facebook , shooters and killers and people being beat and they let that get millions of views and thats unsafe to me. When we signed up with facebook, they didnt say that this platform was only for liberal views. Thats right. Abby so what happens next . Do you guys go somewhere else put your videos elsewhere or youtube or somewhere . No, no, facebook going to get this together because were not afraid of no facebook. They are going to get their act together or they are going to be a face without the book. Well be reading about the history of how facebook used to be and how they were brought down because im not scared of facebook. Thats right. Especiallily if a privately owned bakery has to go against their christian values to bake a cake then Mark Zuckerberg is going to have to suck it up buttercup, and diamond silk will speak our truth. Ed suck it up buttercup, well leave it right there. Pete amen, you speak for a lot of people that worry that someone behind the scenes is playing with an algorithm or determining what is acceptable diamond silk keep us posted on what you hear if anything from facebook. Ed interesting stuff. Thank you. Ed we have had a lot of breaking news all morning, part of it was our exclusive with the house intel chair devon nunes, he called on the Justice Department to stop obstructing the fisa investigation. Show us the two pages on what led you to believe that you should open this investigation and the longer that they block this from us, its going to look badly on the department of justice and the fbi. Tresiba® ready pete House Intelligence Committee chairman devon nunes has a message to the doj, stop obstructing the fisa investigation. Congress created the department of justice and the fbi. Theyre the ones that open the investigation into a president ial campaign using our counterintelligence capability so this was unprecedented. Show us the two pages on what led you to believe that you should open this investigation and the longer that they block this from us, its going to look badly on the department of justice and the fbi. Ed in their defense, Justice Department claims its making extraordinary accommodation for lawmakers so what happens next . Abby here to weigh in of course Maria Bartiromo host of sunday morning futures, which airs this morning right after our show in just a few minutes and you have trey gowdy on your show today this is what a lot of people are talking about as you just heard there from devon nunes the evidence is what theyre wanting to get the evidence to get that fisa warrant to look into carter page. Theres still a lot of question marks there. Maria there really are abbey and i think we need to be clear there are two requests coming from congress right now. The first request is about the Bob Goodlatte subpoena, Bob Goodlatte broke the news on sunday morning futures three weeks ago saying if we dont get the 1. 2 million documents we have requested i will subpoena them because theyve only been given 3,000 so then the fbi comes back and then they respond thats one request. The other request is your interview this morning with devon nunes where he wants to see the Electronic Communications that led to the investigation into socalled collusion between donald trump and the russians, so on the investigation of the Hillary Clinton documents where the fbi has responded and said okay, were going to double the number of people working on this, a lot of people are questioning this and saying look, if you had 26 people working on this for a year, and they produce 3,000 documents what are we supposed to believe . Youll have 54 people produce 6,000 documents . No no no its not about that. Its about making this a priority. Its got a million documents, youve got electronic communication that the lawmakers want to see to better understand how this whole narrative got created and what they actually had in terms of that. Abby what has to be redacted because you think about security clearance, goodlatte and nunes youd think they both have the clearance to see whatever is in those reports. Maria the redactions are so important and you make such an important point because what did we learn when we actually went back and unredacted certain redactions . We learned that peter strzok was having a conservation with his lover lisa page and they were basically saying oh, i want to catch up with judge contreras at a party at a Cocktail Party and i dont know, do you think hes going to think its conflict of interest and recuse himself and she says no you cant possibly get into a big conservation at a Cocktail Party go to the party so he is over there schmoozing a fisa judge, to actually further that into get that wire tap. Ed wow and let me just reiterate with the markets being truecar is great for finding new cars. Youre smart, you already knew that. But its also great for finding the perfect used car. With expedia you could book a flight, hotel, car and activity all in one place. Ed nba star steph curry finally opening up about why he and the Golden State Warriors turned down an invite to the white house after winning the nba title. We wanted to control the conservation and the narrative around what was being celebrated on the back end of our championship so to have an opportunity to go to d. C. To reach out to the community there , to the youth there, bridge the gap and give them an experience and a history on at the National AfricanAmerican History and culture museum. Ed remember the president withdrew the invite after curry said he didnt want to go anyway. He went on to say he hopes the president respects all walks of life and some rather insane video showing a man taking a death defying leap off a moving train that rick says he wants to tryout. The daredevil jumping into the water barely missing a concrete pillar in the water. Australian police are looking for the man so they can charge him. Pete is wondering whether he might win. Abby he was like inches away from that. Pete if he misstimed his jump. Well today is national zoo lover s day. Abby here to help us celebrate is suzi with the columbus zoo. Hes actually small, not quite sure where they got the small tooth because his teeth are pretty big but they live in africa and asia this particular species is in asia. He loves bananas. You can feed him bananas. Hes not going to hang from that tail but he is going to use it to guide through the trees. Pete definitely not small. Ed what do you call him in summer . Abby it looks like pete eating. Hes a sweetheart. Weve had him at the columbus zoo for 19 years. This one is too. But he is a trained professional abby can you pet him . You can pet him on the back. And timmy is a bobcat, and of course they get their name by the bob tail. I dont know if the camera can get close enough. Abby its a shorter tail. And bobcats are found throughout north america. Abby is he afraid . Just pet him back here. Ed almost bit my hand off. Abby come on youre a champion. He would have just taken the bananas. A lot of people dont realize those of you that have house cat s at home relate to the same family as the bobcat. So its the same family. But i dont, thats not a house cat. Thats not a cat youd have at your house, only at a zoo. Go see bobcats in the zoo. Abby whats up next . This is a fox for fox friends. Abby that is so great. Usually youd think of a fox as being pretty dangerous. Well theyre very shy. I wouldnt say a fox is dangerous. They are very shy. They are normally found throughout the great plains of north america. Believe it or not in the early 1,900s, this animal was almost extinct but weve done a great job of getting animals back into the wild, this is the fastest of all of the foxes but one of the reasons they got in trouble is theyre kind of friendly so theyre very curious, and so they would come up to people. Pete in minnesota, foxes will probe and almost make it look like theyre comfortable. Ed you told me there are about 300 Million People that go to zoos. 300 Million People go to zoo s in north america. Abby can you be our mascot . And a lot of people dont realize that the same zoos, ed got 30 seconds. Bring him in. The money goes to conservation. Abby it looks a little bit like a sloth. Theyre also known as a bear cat. Its between a bear and a cat. This is the animal known for smelling like popcorn. Abby it smells like popcorn . I think they smell like frit os. Pete they do smell like popcorn a little bit.
