Weve seen this narrative shift when it comes to the russia investigational of a sudden a lot of people asking important questions about those Text Messages at the fbi, the dossier , who actually paid for it, and we have all these people coming up to testify monday, bruce ore, youll see him on the left, tuesday Andrew Mccabe. Mccabe the Deputy Director at the fbi. His name is invoked in some of those Text Messages about an insurance policy if donald trump is elected maybe lets start some investigations, ohr on left demoted last week at the Justice Department because he didnt disclose the fact that he and his wife are up to their neck in the fusion gps deal. The American People want these answers now because i think it goes to the legitimaticy of this whole russia investigation. Ed the key player Rod Rosenstein the Deputy Attorney general is overseeing and running the russia investigation in terms of the alleged collusion because the attorney general recused himself. Rosenstein is the man who actually appointed bob mueller as special council and last week hes testifying under oath hes asked, do you know who paid for the dossier . Did the fbi pay for it and Rod Rosenstein actually said under oath i think i know but i cant tell you. Rachel this is a really its an amazing answer and its an incredible story. The reason why theyre not telling us is because they will be embarrassed if we find out the answer or when we find out the answer i hope that congressman desantos is right that congress will get to the bottom of this because here they started this entire investigation because reportedly there was collusion between donald trump and the russians. Weve seen no evidence of that after millions of dollars and now it turns out that the doj, the fbi, they all may have fit in collusion, may have even paid for this dossier, and that dossier was the russians who were behind that. What were seeing here is potentially a plot between the doj, the fbi, working in conjunction with democrats to either prevent donald trump from electing by going soft on Hillary Clinton during her investigation of her emails and then having a backup plan and insurance policy in case donald trump is elected to do what theyre doing now which is trying to taint this administration with the fake russian collusion. The next movement on this bill comes tuesday thats when house leaders hope to pass it and send it over to the senate but in the senate it gets tricky erin fact the count there is expected to be so close that the Vice President mike pence has delayed a long planned trip to the middle east just so he can be on the hill to cast a tie breaking vote if necessary, but with all that said President Trump is very confident that this happens by the end of this week. President trump this is going to be one of the great Christmas Gifts the middle of course people, the democrats have the standard sound bite before they even know what the bill is all about. There are still seven tax brackets under the new plan but rates are lower until 2025. The new top rate for top earners dropped from 39. 6 to 37 . The Child Tax Credit doubles to 2000 per child and the standard deduction nearly doubles as well to 12,000 for single filers which means that fewer people are expected to itemize their deductions. There is a new 10,000 tax on deductions for state and local taxes. The mortgage Interest Deduction will be capped at 750,000 and the obamacare fine for people who dont want to have Health Insurance with the individual mandate disappeared, so the first half of this week lawmakers on the hill, republicans are going to try to transform the entire tax code but by the back half of this coming week theyre going to have to rush to keep the government funded because theres going to be a shutdown next weekend if they cannot agree on a longer term spending package by friday night. Ed why cant any democrats get behind a bill that some had said early on particularly moderate democrats is they might be able to support. What is there in the bill that you simply could not support since you are somebody whose been on the show before and likes to try at least to reach across the aisle. Yeah, theres no doubt i think a lot of us think we do need tax reform the tax code does need simplified, its a mess, the Corporate Tax system is a mess so a lot of us were thinking we need to do something and this is an opportunity to work together. Theres nothing worse though than being promised one thing and then relying on that promise counting on that promise and then people going back on that promise. President trump was in ohio, he was talking about were going to raise taxes on the wealthiest and were going to take some of that money and rebuild country, and were going to rebuild country with their money and create jobs here in the United States. What happened is now we have an increase or a decrease in taxes for the wealthiest and were going to borrow about 2 trillion when its all said and done primarily from china and were going to pay them interest on this money were borrowing and the president also said he was going to take on china, so getting more in depth at china and allowing them to take our money and do high speed rail. Pete excuse my disbelief but suddenly democrats care about debt and deficit, you may not have been in favor of it but its what happened. You talked about tax decreases on the wealthiest and the wealthiest believe they will pay more under the system. Theres no way. Pete absolutely because some of the other things have gone away. Lets say a little bit more or less but generally a wash certainly not a gush for the wealthiest. Hes cut taxes for folks in ohio hes giving money back to corporations so they can bring back jobs. Why would that not be a message that a moderate democrat from ohio would want to bring to his constituents . Because a lot of that is not accurate quite frankly. So the top rate goes down for the wealthiest people in the country. Pete by 2. 5 but also goes down to 600,000. Im just saying we dont have the money to do this. We have to borrow the money from china. Pete did you vote for obamacare that was all paid for. Everything in the Affordable Care act was paid for let me finish because you put a lot out there. The Corporate Tax rate is going from 35 down to 20. Thats a huge. Ed 21 . Okay so thats huge. Now the argument youre making is well were going to cut taxes for these corporations and reinvest in youngstown, ohio creating jobs. Corporations have about 4 trillion in cash. If they see an opportunity to invest money now, they have the cash to do it. They dont need this and we cant afford it so were borrowing this money from china to get to the wealthiest people in the country and if you hear what china is doing now, theyre building islands in the south china sea. Building military bases. Rachel listen, but im going to pass on the message to paul ryan that when hes ready to take on entitlement reform he will count on congressman tim ryan who care s about that and our debt but i want to talk specifically about middle income because you make the claim it doesnt help middle income families. We have a 2000 refundable tax credit for every child, a standard deduction that goes from 12 to 24,000. How is that not going to help middle income people in your district . Tell me that thats not going to lower their taxes . So any benefit to the middle class it goes away in a few years. Rachel only if you decide not to vote to continue it. Pete because of the rules of budgeting. Rachel please answer the question though. Do your constituents who are middle income are their taxes lower because of this . From the final analysis, some will some wont but here is the deal. S. Says doesnt stand for the International Community so of course the u. N. Has been anti israel and jewish in its position and the u. S. Thankfully has a veto power in the u. N. Security council so its not likely to pass but very revealing because i dont know if we have the photo i brought up in the New York Post on page 26 its a photo of an Israeli Security officer taking a photo of a palestinian protester near the fault lines. We were told there was a bunch of violence when this happened right . When the president reversed it. Ed grave predictions. Look there are a lot of really great people at the fbi by the way but the leadership the people actually in charge of investigating Hillary Clinton and the email scandal they obviously have their opinions and they hated donald trump and the fact that they hired bruce o hrs wife from fusion gps to do this russia investigation on donald trump and it was exactly what they had done and i mean, i have to say, i saw this from the first day because i was at the Democratic National convention and i watched as Debbie Wasserman schultzs emails were exposed and she was pushed out of her conference, and like in three seconds the story was changed to russia collusion and it was so strategic and from that moment i said this doesnt add up to me at all and the truth is a year later we see now that its actually the democrats who were colluding against donald trump and they used this dossier which is a fake bunch of garbage as justification to wire tap donald trump and the Trump Organization . Thats just a fact and when you look at where tax rates are coming down, its largely on the middle class. Theyre actually going to get the biggest tax cutoff all. This is really important. Look at the markets. The economy is doing well right now and there is part of that an expectation this tax reform happens. Pete he also downplayed the reduction in Corporate Taxes that that wont have an impact on hiring on small and large businesses. Maria its not true. For years ive been hearing from Business People big and Small Businesses that the big impediments to growth are over regulation and uncompetitive tax rate. Look, no one is arguing that corporations need no tax and you know, they just need a tax thats competitive with the rest of the world. I wrote this in an op ed in the journal on friday.
