Reporter a plane drops humanitarian relief to a man besieged by isis for two months 100 miles north of baghdad. This video shows iraqi forces helping to evacuate some of the nearly 15,000 residents amidst fears the isis fighters would kill them. Water and electricity have been cut off by isis since june. Iraqi air forces were air lifted into the area by saturday and backed by u. S. Air strikes. The mission was authorized by the president late last week and took place at 8 30 p. M. Eastern last night. According to a statement released, the u. S. Forces dropped 109 bundles of humanitarian relief by a parachute. Two usc13s dropped more than 500 gallons of fresh Drinking Water and approximately 7,000 meals ready to eat. British, french and australian aircraft also took part in the mission. The u. S. War planes also conducted three air strikes against isis targets near amirli, a mere twohour drive from baghdad. The town has been held by isis since june. We have an anesthesiologist with us this morning. Do we have hope . We do have hope. She is possibly on life support to protect a brain injury. We believe she had cardiac arrest. This could be to reduce swelling or protect the brain to get it to relax. What was the original procedure done in a Doctors Office or was not a hospital . There are conflicting reports, but i am heard it is just a clinic where they do colonoscopies to pass through the throat or stomach. But shes 81. At that age, wouldnt you do this in a hospital . No, absolutely not. If possible, an 81yearold can be perfectly hospital. I have seen a 90yearold do this with no problems versus someone with multiple problems. It depends on the age appropriation of where they do this and how they do it. What happens when there is a problem like this when someone stops breathing, are they taking by ambulance to the hospital . Yes, they will provide care. They resuscitated her i am hearing, but no confirmed reports. Is it just a coincidence maybe she went into cardiac arrest or this procedure, could that have caused it . But when they enter, isis takes their passports from them. Isis will hold all these things, do photo substitution, create their own alias documentation center. So when they come back to us, they may not come back at uspt with their own pass porlts. They may come back into Central America or into mexico and try to walk across the border.
