>> exactly, what is the point? well, the economy is in deep trouble, that hasn't changed, but the president has a new plan, talk some more. he's preparing for the state of the union address, the constitutionally mandated address to come tuesday. we'll cover it right here on fox, but he has a plan. gone is the phrase "income equality." the white house said they won't use the term in the speech on tuesday. >> it's been missing from the website and from speeches that have been given to reporters from the white house, but if you remember on december the 4th, the president of the united states repeated the term income inequality some 26 times. take a listen. >> who is counting? >> i want to spend some time talking about today, and that's a dangerous inequality and lack of upper mobility. increasing inequality is most pronounced in our country. our levels of inequality rank like jamaica. the combined trends of increased inequality and decreasing mobility, rising inequality -- greater inequality. reducing inequality. reducing inequality. >> i'm sure this has been focus grouped tup the wazoo. now you will hear ladder of opportunity. >> it does sound good in theory but in doubt is not the same as a hand up. >> i think they understand that when you talk about fixing income inequality, what you're really saying is you're going to reorder american society and do it by force. and that's a scary prospect. look, nobody argues inequality isn't a problem. of course it's a problem, but what do you do about it is the question? how can government fix it? and what causes it in the first place? >> they try to have government solve the issue. here's what a new fox news poll shows about how americans feel about income inequality feel in the first place, 62% say fine, that's how things work out. 21% say it stinks but is not a government problem. and 13% say sorry that's the way it worked out. the american dream is dead, we have to get this back. turns out it actually hasn't changed. >> the irony is that it's become actually difficult, much more difficult in the past five years for people to rise from the lower echelons to the upper echelons. there are a ton of reasons for this, but for the president to look in the camera and say inequality is a problem, really? can you find a single economist who says when you have high unemployment and low social econ economics, you bring in more people to the united states? >> bring in more people to suppress wages further. >> rather than admitting his programs haven't worked, instead he's just blaming congress instead saying, you know, and now i need to take action into my own hands and i've got a pin and i've got a phone and i know how to use it. >> so this is the new movement going forward, if i can't get congress to sign any legislation, it doesn't matter, i'm going to grab my pin through executive action and get things done. this is from dan phifern this year of action, the president will seek out as many opportunities as possible to work with congress in a bipartisan way, but when american jobs and livelyhoods depend on getting something done, he will not wait for congress. president obama has a pin and a phone and he will use them to take executive action. >> yes, it's this whole separation of powers thing, it's silly because it just gets in the way. it's easier for the king to make things happen. with a stroke of his pen, he's the most powerful man in the world. >> when oyou look at the president's power, congress controls the first string. congress has a lot of the power. and the fact that the president thinks he can just saturday of double-down and take executive action, we see it in the obamacare legislation. pass this, exempt that, without going to congress to get it done. >> yeah, how many exemptions have been done unilaterally. you can't even count. scary. coming up, brand new warnings from the state department. now american athletes in sochi being told to hide team usa gear in public. the next guest, former secret service agent here to answer, is the white house doing enough to keep americans safe overseas? >> everyone is concerned on the american side and we have a lot of our officials saying russia isn't sharing intelligence, but when you think that, you wonder, what's going on? are they keeping something from us that's of concern? a lot of athletes feel, you know what? i don't want anything to happen to you, please don't come, support me from overseas. it's unfortunate because it puts a big dark cloud to something we should be celebrating with the athletes. >> with the close proximity to the islamic extremist activity in that area so prevalently, we are hearing the so-called black widows could be embedded into the armed force there is? is that something to be concerned about? >> the area is very volatile and we are aware of that. you are going to have sympathizers or moles, so to speak, within the troops. so find somebody that empathizes with the terrorists and have a checkpoint post. if it's coordinated, i can let something through that shouldn't be through. when you are dealing with such large numbers, are you going to have a problem? yes, because you cannot vouch for every security personnel. or what their mental state of mind is or their belief system? >> the mental state of the widows, they think suicide bombing is okay, but they are apparently -- they have a vendetta because their spouses have died. so what do we need to be concerned about with that? they don't look like a normal terrorist, they look like sweet women from their faces. >> and that's smart. think like the opponent, if i have a target and want to execute the target, i want to cause fear, what am i going to do? i'm going to take somebody who fits in who i can hide in open sight in plain view who blends in, western clothing, the hair, whatever the case may be, and i'm going to insert you in so you don't attract attention to yourself. they are not hiding in the building somewhere waiting to detonate. they are probably out there walking around looking similar to myself or yourself. >> final point, 10,000 americans expected to go, would you go, yes or no? thank you, clayton. well, first it was the irs targeting tea party groups, now one democratic senator wants more of a crackdown on conservative critics of president obama. he's telling the irs to be more aggressive. watch this. >> obviously, the tea party elite gained extraordinary inflins by funneling millions of dollars in unclosed campaigns and to attack government. we are not going to have a broad discussion of this issue here as i mentioned. and it is clear we are not going to pass any legislative as long as the house of representatives is in republican control, but there are main things to be done by the i.r.s. and other government agencies, and we have to redouble those agencies. >> taxing the government is not allowed, and some of the biggest members called friends of abe are being targeted by the i.r.s. there's reaction to all of this including senator schumer's remarks is a tea party activist and member of friends for abe. >> thank you for having me. >> what kind message does this send when a senior senator from new york goes on camera to say it is not allowed to criticize government and those who do need further scrutiny from the i.r.s.? >> well, it sends a message loud and clear, i think, that they are not interested in our first amendment right, they are not interested in our right to assemble. you know, certainly this group, f.o.a., i'm a member of and don't speak for all of them because we are a diverse group, but its purpose is not political. it never should have been targeted by the i.r.s. essentially, a professional sort of watering hole as executive director aaron clinton south. and everyone watching this knows if this were a progressive group during the bush administration being targeted in a red state, there would be hell to pay. every single alphabet soup media would be all over this, but they are not because it's okay to do whatever you want to do to conservatives. and i think that's a complete double standard that the left is going to have to come to terms with if they are interested in free speech. >> it is frightening. you shouldn't be able to use the tools of government power to crush your political enemy, but you don't need to. you just need to suggest it and call for it as senator schumer did. doesn't that have a chilling effect on people's political speech? >> well, they have been successful doing this in churches intimidating pastors, making them believe things that aren't even true or constitutional. and there's a whole movement to change that, but this is the thing, there's so much going on here that it is so spooky and should scare the daylights out of any person who believes in our constitutional republic. one is that, why is it that the i.r.s. agents are talking to "the new york times" about this? you have to ask yourself that question. why are the people who are the loudest screaming for individual rights and rights to free speech in why are they standing down on this? where are those people? >> he's warm inside. >> for now, anyway. another cold day across the northeast. get ready across the northern plains, a really cold next couple of days. take a look at chicago, today you're at 30. the temps drop throughout the day with snow this morning. you may end up with two to three inches of snow. then take a look at what happens, your high on monday is minus 4. the low on monday night into tuesday morning is minus 20. so incredibly cold. it's also going to be very windy across a lot of the northern plains. winds possibly 40 to 50 miles an hour. so the windchills feel like minus 40 to minus 50 potentially. the cold is there and you warm up by the latter part of the week, but in general, this cold pattern continues. this is the future radar. that clipper is moving through. that storm, by the way, extends down to the southeast eventually. and by tuesday we're going to be looking at some snow again, i think, possibly across parts of southern louisiana, southern mississippi and alabama. and then we're going to watch possibly a little bit of a coastal storm tuesday night into wednesday across parts of south carolina. then we'll start to switch this pattern around a little bit, hopefully. we're hoping to break this down. clayton? rick, you got ripped off with your super bowl ticket, you paid $3,000 for your ticket? >> $4,000. >> he got ripped off because ticket prices to next week's super bowl are getting more affordable by the day. people waiting up until the last moment here. within the last 48 hours, ticketed have plunged. the average price to the event is about $2,500. down about a thousand dollars. joining us what with what he's seeing, russ is here. >> great to be here. >> the cheapest seat is $1600. the other day the nosebleeds were up to $2500, why? >> ticket prices do drop over time, so it's hard to speculate why they are dropping, but they are dropping and we tell fans to wait as low as possible. >> the lowest price is where? >> you want to spend as much as possible you can spend $800,000, but you have to get a group of 30 friends together and buy a suite. that's a per ticket basis around $25,000 a piece. >> do you have that money out there? i guess if you are a fan like that, wow. at $800,000 for 30 people to buy a suite, what about for the general public as the prices drop? is the nosebleed the most affordable right now? >> that's the most affordable area for sure. i would say that the tickets will drop probably under $1,000, so if you are gutsy, wait until sunday and purchase your ticket the day of the super bowl. >> a couple factors here, one, is it the teams playing in the super bowl? is that why prices are dropping? >> i don't think so. we noticed the ticket prices drop for every event. i think the weather has part to do with it. >> that was my next question. so the weather, east rutherford, new jersey, rick's not ruling out a snowstorm yet. you can't rule it out just yet, so it could be really cold there. who wants to sit outside in those temperatures? >> this is a first super bowl to happen outside in a warm weather environment. it sounds romantic to be out in the cold until you look at the forecast and there's a forecast of negative 4 degrees. >> and you can be inside watching the game. >> the weather gets better at the end of the week, but it could be a wintry mix. >> what is the cutoff for buying tickets? the very last moment? how long should you wait? will ticket prices come down further the day before the game? >> it is almost certain the ticket prices will continue to drop. we think ticket prices will bottom out the day of the event. buy tickets sunday morning, if you can arrange for pickup location and can walk right into the game that day. >> where is the best place to buy them? >> in early december i was e-mailed by someone, a stranger, on facebook alerting me to a fake facebook page set up in matthew's name. and at that time i i thought this person was a hero. you know, i was obviously in disbelief this could happen, but this person alerted me to that, and as we conversed, he told me that he ran the peter ties memorial fund, which peter was a special services soldier also killed in action, and we went ahead and tried to get the page removed with the help from the media. and we also were e-mailed by a woman within a day or two and she had alleged that she had also been catfished by someone using matthew's pictures. at that point in time, she said his name was brandon ashraft. and i was immediately stunned because the person who originally alerted me to the facebook page, his name was brandon ashraft. so we began to go back through our files because melissa kept a file from two years prior, a woman who also alleged she was catfished by someone using matthew's pictures and name. it was awful. we began to compile all the information, the evidence, my husband, myself and melissa, we put everything together, the evidence in a timeline form, and melissa was able to submit to the detectives in new york. >> melissa, i can't imagine how this made you feel. your brother has been killed, you lost your brother, and someone is using his identity to file in his memory for internet dating. how did you respond to that? >> um, i was extremely angry about it. it is very hurtful. it's tough enough to deal with the loss day in and day out without having somebody come at you with this kind of stuff. it's just so mind-blowing. i don't understand. >> it really is. and i think everyone watching this is offended on your behalf and on behalf of your brother's himry. how do you want matthew to be remembered? we'll ask our doctor from the nyu school of medicine. good morning, debbie, thank you for being with us. i imagine you have to be careful opening a store with expired food. how is that possible? >> the confusion is really that we think of all these as expiration dates but they are not. if you read them carefully, some say sell by a, and that has to with the safety of selling itself. >> he is going through and putting stuff on the store shelves that are on the sell-by date and the use-by date but not necessarily the expiration date. >> it is innovative. the best by is how it is going to taste. if you throw it away thinking it's expiration date, that's money you're throwing away. he's trying to save money. if you throw away milk, you have to buy another one. that's billions of dollars of waste per year. >> let's take a look at the milk here. >> yeah, sure. >> explain the difference. >> okay, sure. for example, with the milk, if you put that in the african-american, it can last for a week after the sell-by date. for eggs, they taste good for a week after that best-by date, but they can last for three to five weeks after that. >> and these are expensive items, or the milk is anyway. what matters more is really when you open it, right? >> when you open it or actually have you're preserving it, let's say you are refrigerating something, if you leave the fridge open a lot, it will deteriorate faster. it also depends how long you leave things outside before you put them in the fridge. >> a lot of people are eating breakfast this morning, what about having cereal past date? >> cereal is okay. with cereal, a lot of people wonder agent the fda, which is supposed to regulate our safety, you can see the nutritional label here. the nutritional label is what they are looking at, the calories and ingredients from that point of view, not necessarily in terms of it spoiling. if you look at bread, for example, the old rule of looking at the actual product, smelling it to make sure it looks okay is probably the safest way to go. a lot of the date things, if you put them in the fridge or freezer, they can last longer. meat and poultry you have to be careful about. >> this is what would scare me. >> yeah, you don't want to get sick. >> you don't want to get sick. cook it or freeze it, poultry, in one to two days of buying it. >> so the expiration date, you have to add here to the extrags date. the sell-by date, how much wiggle room? >> that's one to two days, basically. then for beef, it would be three to five days. if you freeze it, you can make it last for longer, but i would more careful with those things, like with meats. >> so you just really need to make sure it passes the smell test. >> yeah. >> when you take it out of the freeze her? >> exactly. >> these can survive like a nuclear fallout. >> it can. >> you can have these for years, right? >> they can last for up to five years if they are low acid, so things like beans, some of them with tomato or acidic, they can last 18 months but not as long if they don't have acid. and if the can is bulging or looks funky, it is better to throw it away. >> the dem industchemistry of tn change over time? >> that can happen, too. we see that the most with diet soda. with a soda that's diet, it has aspartame in it. >> aspartame is delicious, by the way. so that can break down? >> it can break down. diet sodas after sitting around for several months, they taste funky. it is not like they are unsafe, but they don't taste normal anymore. and then beer, you also have to be careful, mainly, again, not that it goes bad specifically, but from the types of bottle. so if it is clear, it can be exposed to sunlight. and that causes a bacteria to per mea ferment the beer. >> what happens if you take it in and out of the refrigerator or take out a super bowl party and put it back in the refrigerator, is that causing a problem? >> for a short time, beer can sit outside, but for other things that need to be refrigerated, be careful with things like sour cream and other things that can go bad. >> so this guy is a bit of a genius here? people know to be successful, you can't stray far from the democratic party. >> hollywood portrays itself as a community of artists. and implicit in that is the idea they are truth tellers, they say unpopular things whether people like it or not. they will tell the truth. there's a conscious of america. and here they are toadies doing the work of a politician in the white house. that's scary. you need people in your society empowered to tell the truth whether or not it is popular. >> holly swowood is on their si though. if you pick up pieces on the politico website and on the new york times' website, you will notice some inaccuracies. you will notice things left out of the different stories. and they are big pieces, 5,000-word pieces highlighting the careers of wendy davis and hillary clinton, but there are huge things missing from the reports. >> this is the one on hillary clinton. it's super thick. and it probably doesn't surprise you that the word libya and benghazi are not apparent in there, but just a few weeks ago they came out with the piece talking about benghazi and essentially pushing the same talking points that susan rice went on the five sunday shows with, that this was a spontaneous attack that had nothing to do with al qaeda, and that it was sparked by an anti-muslim film. >> that doesn't surprise me that the time is carrying water for their senator, hillary clinton. what i found more surprising is this political profile of wendy davis that makes the point, america isn't ready for a single mom in the governor's seat. >> totally missing the point. >> here's the problem i have with wendy davis, she had some complicated marriage, i have tr other people's marriages i don't know. she ran on her biography and ran on the idea, vote for me because i'm a single mom who raised these kids and went to harvard. it turns out she didn't raise the kids, she gave up cost i do the kids actually. when you are running on your biography and it turns out to be false, that's a huge problem. it is not like she's running on ideas, she's for abortion, we know that, but what are her other ideas? she's a single mom, but she wasn't! >> get your biography in order. >> she was running on it. >> if you're running on it, we have seen a number of politicians that rally around their particular biography and their record. it comes out that it's false! you did not serve in vietnam or were not stationed at this place you said you were stationed in, and your campaign crumbles as a result of it. >> you were not married and divorced at 19, it happened at 21. you didn't live in a trailer for a long time. you lived in it for a short time. you married someone able to pay your bills to get you through and divorced them after. so i have a problem with the piece because it leaves out all of the scandal that has to do with it, but at the same time when you think about is america ready for a single mom as a politician? you know, in a lot of ways, i would have to agree with the author that we are not. we didn't think about the fire that sarah palin went through. is she going to have time to take care of her kids if she's the vice president of the united states? i would submit the most judged woman in america may be sarah palin, somebody along those lines, not somebody like wendy davis. >> here's a solution, let's stop talking so much about people's biographies and personal lives and start talking about their ideas. why should i care how old you were when you got married or if you lived in a trailer? a lot of people lived in trailers. what are you going to do for america? what's your program? what's your plan? what are your ideas? what's your philosophy? there's no conversation about that. it is all "people" magazine spread. she pulled herself up by her bootstraps. spare me. >> or what is your track record as a leader in the state department? in the 5500-word piece in "the new york times," here's a little look at what it said from this article called planet hillary. unlike barack obama who will leave the white house with more or less the same handful of friends he came in with, the clintons occupy their own unique and formidable and often exhausting place in american politics over the decades they have operated like an arkansas tumbleweed collecting friends and devoteees from bill clinton kinder garden class to little rock to the white house to the senate and beyond. this may represent hillary clinton's biggest challenge for a hypothetical 2016 campaign. again, one word missing from this enormous piece is the word benghazi. not mentioned one time. >> the biggest challenge is answering the simple question, how does your family make hundreds of millions of dollars over the past 14 years? what is clinton doing? where did some of the money come from? the clintons are some of the richest people in america, how did that happen? they have not come close to answering that. it is not just speeches, it is more complicated. >> what do you think of wendy davis and hillary clinton? >> what we learn when it is time to let go and when to fight to save a life. >> here to weigh in is religion contributor father jonathan morris. good morning to you. >> it's a tough issue. >> we have one patient dead and the baby is still alive. we are hearing that the extremities are so deformed you can't tell the gender of the child. what does faith say to do? >> faith and ethics and right reasoning and the basic kind sense. one is we know there are two patients here, right? if we believe in life, there are two patients here. one is the mother and the other is the child. the mother is now dead. she's brain dead. and that not only is illegal, but also i believe ethical explanation of death. when there's no brain activity, that's one. but they have kept her alive for all this time. they kept her on life support, so to speak, and now the child is viable. 22, 23 weeks. that's right at the cutoff point. i believe we have to look at there being two patients here. we have to do what is reasonable in order to protect both patients. >> so the husband, i can't imagine what he must be going through in this situation. and saying that his wife never wanted to be kept alive this way in the first place. and then the baby, we're also hearing from experts, wouldn't be able to live on its own with water on the brain as anna mentioned. >> what baby is able to live at its own at 23 weeks? certainly the arguments i have seen put out in the press right now, that while the baby is not perfectly healthy, therefore what do you mean? somehow because a child is not in perfect health, therefore we should kill the child? >> challenge accepted. >> get your photo on the wall. >> good morning from new york city. it's 8:00 a.m. on the east coast. so the economy is still in trouble, but we have good news from washington. the president has picked some new words, words to unveil on tuesday when he gives his state of the union address mandated by the constitution. he's going to not talk about income inequality, but something he refers to as the latter of opportunity. unpack that metaphor, if you will. >> you know this is a focus group thing. income inequality was the old term. the new term is ladders of opportunity. i would love to ask you about this, because the politicians test these things and want to know how well this will work. >> here's the stimulus package for you. take all the money obama spends on focus grouping his policies and give it to the poor. that might help income inequality a bit. >> here's what the president said just last month using this phrase over and over again. listen. >> i want to spend some time talking about today, and that's a dangerous and growing inequality and lack of upward mobility. increasing inequality is most pronounced. in our country, the levels of income inequality rank to countries like jamaica. let me repeat, the combined trend of increased inequality and decreasing inability. we can't tackle inequality if the economic pie is shrinking. >> income inequality versus ladders of opportunity. the rhetoric may be changing a little bit, but does that really make a difference? you would imagine that they are probably having focus groups go on to have a big day of heart. it was not very long saying washingt these are not working. >> the government can provide upward mobility. can government create jobs? can government get people out of poverty? we look at a report from last week, actually, that shows that income and upward mobility has not changed in decades. there's no less of an opportunity now for americans to go out there to seek the american dream than it was a number of years ago. it's remained the same. >> but you'll see this on tuesday night if you dare watch the state of the union, you wil time, simultaneous, we have a real economic problem here. people are stuck on the bottom rings of the ladder. >> and we submitted more than the low-wage workers because, what that's going to help you out with a sensor. you have to utter he remake american society, not just the economy, but the way success is portioned in our society. that's a massive project. does the president really think he can do that? does he want the executive branch of government remaking american society? that's a big change. >> giving a handout, does that give somebody a hands out? there aught to be incentive to get somebody to go back to work and to find a job rather than keeping them on unemployment before. how do you feel about income inequality? is it the government's responsibility, well, 62% said that's how things work. >> 21% say it stinks. without the government proble problem -- we are angry government should be involved. but again, being angry is not a solution. the obvious is inequality does create an unstable society when you have people who feel they are stuck right now. it's a problem. i think the question is, what do you do about it? and these guys have no clue, other than to crush the rich people. that's not what to do. >> early back in the 1900s in the united states, we went through a same path. >> and we had the most popular president then deaddy -- we'll hear him speak to a lot of middle class and women. you can imagine we'll hear more about this fake war on women. that the republicans are supposedly waging. and we are probably going to hear from those disenchanted with obamacare, the young people realize they are subsidizing everyone else. >> i want to make this one problem at fox and friends, if someone declares war on you, anna, i will jump in. >> you declare war, anna kooiman. a man believed to have killed two people with a shotgun in a maryland mall before shooting himself also had improvised explosives made from fireworks. the victims are 21-year-old brianna benlolo and tyler johnson, both mall employees. witnesses describe hearing gunshots and screens and shoppers ducking into nearby stores. >> it was horrifying. once we heard about fatalities, then there's another wave of emotion, like, what's going on? what happened? and saturday morning he was going about his business. it shakes you up. >> friends say it was a domestic dispute involving benlolo's ex-boyfriend. police scheduled a press conference at 9:30 this morning. a teenager was busted for building a weapon of mass destruction. cops raided his pennsylvania home on a tip he was dealing drugs. they quickly learned the 19-year-old was hiding something more dangerous, a bomb. and bomb-making materials hidden inside a circus. >> he was always doing abstract things. i hope i never see him again because he is a dangerous kid. >> the teenager told investigators he bought the bomb-making materials online. and a brand new bombshell for edward snowden in a rare television interview in germany. er in vous says this does not limit five national security but targets four other businesses as well. there's no question that the united states is engaged in the economic spying. if there's information at siemens that they think would be beneficial for the national defense not the national security, of the united states, they will go after that information and will take it. he now says he dumped his documents off to a german camp. and more than 300 people are stick aboard a royal caribbean ship. health officials are going to board to figure out what's going on. right now symptoms are like the stomach flu. that's what happens in close quarters. one person is sick, the others do, too. rick, are we trapped in this weather cycle? here's your temps waking up this morning. cold all across the northern plains. this is the next system moving in across the western great lakes to die down through the ohio valley, eventually pennsylvania and new york. some areas seeing a few inches of snow or a dusting, but eventually we see so many clippers move through. the cold air and dip in the jet stream off to the west, and this big ridge there. if we were in this pattern, we would have a good idea that sunday's super bowl in new jersey is looking cold, but i think we'll see some changes into this week and we'll start to see this shift a little bit in this dip in the jet stream move farther off to the west. the graphics suck right there, but what we'll see is this gets stuck and that makes us look at the threat, potentially for rain and snow. we are looking at temperatures hofring in that upper 30-range. very hard to say the exact forecast, but likely some precipitation right around that time. nice. i want to go to the storm room during the super bowl. >> i'll be eating chicken wings. thank you. we have unrest in the ukraine with a live look at kiev earlier this morning where protests were turning violent. we have trouble in egypt this morning. we've got trouble in iran, of course. >> a civil war in syria. congo. >> but the united nations are debating the name of the washington redskins. they are meeting with the united nation ahead of the super bowl this friday to tackle this difficult issue. >> yeah, the civil rights exper experts, mostly koreans, and by the way, they are meeting with and debating the washington redskins name. i love they are doing this right before the super bowl where the washington redskins are not playing in the super bowl, by the way. because the seahawks are also outraged, the sea birds are outraged their name is being used as well. >> don't you think this is the u.n.'s way of criticizing america? how about when she backpacks through asia all by herself? or when she lands her dream job? or something like that. why don't we throw them a party as well? >> i don't know that's not happening, celebrating somebody getting a job in the family. >> well, you certainly don't bring in the crowds from out of town like the others. >> especially the raising of our concern in this society, there are terrible parents out there and terrible kids in general staying at home or go off to prison. the direct result is poor parenting in society. >> this is a boring, rich girl frustrated with the emptiness of her life. but what's interesting to me is this is a manifesto on behalf of selfishness. what she's saying is totally pointless to serve and help and live for other people. live only for yourself. you have to celebrate that. i get a lot of people feel that way, but in the end it's completely a death end. you're going to realize you have to point with life. >> some say you are less of a man for being a stay-at-home dad. there are progressive thoughts where some say that's okay, but sometimes they are shunned. >> i don't think there's any wrong with supporting your family. leave the kid, there's nothing wrong with that. i think we look down on that. we spend an awful lot of time celebrating alternative family setups, but what about the poor guy who goes to work at u.p.s. every day. he's looked as a loser -- there's anything anity in supporting your family. >> when raising your kids, we effect thousands of human bei s beings. do you agree or disagree with the blogger? apparently it's hollywood. hollywood elites are meeting to discuss how obamacare can be more positively portrayed? joining me is jason mattera, author of "hollywood hypocrites." many are portraying obamacare in false light. this is propaganda, is it not? >> hollywood is acting as ministers of obamacare for the obama administration, but this partnership was to be expected because hollywood marketed obama like an ipad mini, and now they are coming to his rescue to promote and glamorize what has been a dreadful start to the president's health care law. in fact, the department at the university of southern california got a $500,000 grant in late 2013 to help assist and guide writers and producers to incorporate positive obamacare stories into their scripts. we are seeing the fruits of that come into existence with the white house collaborating with the writers guild and the norman weir center to tell us how awesome obamacare is. the white house and hollywood thinks it is not the law itself that we have problems with, it's the message surrounding the law. so hollywood is setting us straight. >> so we get an episode of "how i met your mother" with when you know of the characters going off to get obamacare written into the script. if that happens and we flip on our tv in primetime and watch that happen, will we buy into that hook, line and sinker? >> let's not forget, especially with younger voters, celebrities have huge sway. we have seen that in two election cycles now, so i wouldn't dismiss these positive obamacare storylines outright. in fact, i think it's almost unfortunate because you have all these fans, millions of them, who are looking to celebrities for guidance. we think it's stupid and it is in many respects, but rather than caution their fans to say, listen, you may not want to input your data into a government database that has been described by security experts as a hacker's paradise, instead they are acting like government toadies and shoes for the administration. i think that should be pointed out, they won't do that to their fans who welcome and embrace obamacare and won't suffer from the ramifications of it. >> how distressing to find out this group of artists doesn't have a single free-thinker, they are all robots? 50 years into the war on poverty, have we reduced -- >> no, not at all. >> incentive based, anyway, so people are motivated to go out there and find work rather than having unemployment forever and ever and ever. there are a lot of people who actually do need it, but there a lot of people taking advantage. >> so is it the policy isn't it is it the words? how do americans feel bin equality? fox news polled the public in general. 62% said fine, they're fine with income inequality because that's how things work. 21% say it stinks, but it's not a government problem. and 13% are angry southbound say the government should be involved. i don't think anybody denies it's a huge problem when you have a massive segment of your society that can't get ahead and we have that. we don't have to be bill de blasio or barack obama to think that's a problem. you can't say i am worried about people whose wages are stuck at a certain level and we should bring in millions of additional minimum wage workers. do you think your wage goes up? i don't think so. it goes down. in fact, you're replaced by them. so i mean, this is not really an opinion. this is a fact. you can't argue those two things simultaneously. it doesn't make sense. >> it will be interesting to hear him argue in favorite of more government intervention for the stagnant economy on tuesday night. let us know what you think about that. but you've been weighing in on this issue, which is this. the american flag is being stitched on the side of a garbage truck. it's freedom waste. take a look at this. here is the picture of the garbage truck. there it is. freedom waste. you can hire them out to come and pick up your garbage and on the back of it it has another american flag there where the garbage goes into the -- denise writes us and says i totally agree that these folks emulate an unbelievable work ethic with pride. my only suggestion is to remove the flag from the rear of the truck. >> yeah. because you saw the trash stuck to all that. an e-mail from dawn says this, i see it as a company displaying our flag, not a company picking up waste. >> there's a metaphor on that garbage truck. >> a lot of people think it's disrespectful to have the flag be dirty or to be cashing in off the american flag period. but it's something you see with religious symbols a lot. being from north carolina, you see a lot of times state cleaners or rediming stirm naters or something like that. where do you draw the line? >> well, at houston baptist university, we're real committed to the liberal arts education. so i get the opportunity to teach a lot of great texts. donte's inferno is one of them. as i was watching the movie, i saw some parallels between the movie and donte's inferno which has a lot of christians themes in it. >> and we've seen this in other places. you know, you mentioned donte's inferno and there are others, as well. c.s. lewis's "lion, witch and the wardrobe." you say this could be more than that. how come? >> let me start with what the christian message is. the christian message is that the people are centers and have these broken relationships and that christ comes and takes on the punishment for that sin by the death that he didn't deserve and then is resurrected about brings reconciliation through people. and the problem -- well, the issue with the movie is that in the movie, elsa has broken relationships and she has guilt and she pushes people away. and her sister is sort of like a christ figure who pursues her. christ comes and pursues and anna comes and pursues and when she pursues her, she has to die and then she's resurrected, which proves the strength of her love and it brings reconciliation and elsa is saved because her sister dies. these are strong christian themes that we don't see often in movies. >> we haven't seen it from walt disney, either, in a lot of respects. and he tried to stay away so as not to alien ate a portion of young movie goers. is that going to be a turn off? >> i think actually, i think it's the opposite. i think this movie gives a more true understanding of what it is to be a person, something that disney hasn't showed us before. earlier disney princess movies are all the follow your heart, your heart is going to lead you where you need to go. and we all know that that's a bunch of -- that's a bunch of bunk because your heart doesn't always know what the right thing is and your heart leads you into disaster a lot of times. i think audiences think this is hole le and they think this other theme is much more satisfying and they're attracted to it and i think it's paying off financially for disney to give us something more honest. >> and the music certainly is inspirational, as well, and it's doing very well on the charts. collin, thank you so much for your thoughts on that today. >> thank you very much. i appreciate it. coming next on the rubdown on fx weekend, forget about holding anybody accountable. nearly two years since the benghazi attack that left four americans dead, the state department now handing out promotions? >> no. in fact, it's a pretty decent chance of precipitation, at least at some point that day. will it be during game time or beforehand? is it rain or is it snow? it's too early to say. take a look at weather maps. it's been so incredibly cold. we've been having clipper systems that have been pulling on through. that's been keeping this everyday pattern with the snow and the koelt cold temps. this pattern doesn't change over the next couple of days. it will begin to change a little bit by the time we get to the middle part of next week. by tuesday, you see snow to the deep south. across parts of the south texas and the carolinas potentially getting a few inches of snow. but this pattern switches by next weekend and the jet stream is going to be right over the new york city/new jersey area and that is going to do a couple of things. it will bring our temperatures up and that's great news, but i think it will bring us the chance for precipitation on sunday. exactly where that jet stream sets up further to the north and to the south tells us how cold it will be. we'll talk about that all week long, guys, obviously, but there is something to talk about there potentially, some weather going on. >> i'm pulling for 4 inches of snow. >> at least it's pretty to watch. and now on to your sunday morning headlines, we start with the fox news alert. we're taking you live to columbia, maryland, where police are giving a press conference on the latest in the mall shooting that left three people dead, including the shooter. police say the shooter had improvised explosives. the victims, 21-year-old brianna benlolo and 20-year-old tyler johnson, both mall employees. police have not released the motive. a man in new york was found dead in an emergency room eight hours after he asked to see a doctor. 30-year-old john barrier came into the er asking to be treated for a rash. a hospital spokesperson says he was checked in and asked to wait. the hospital says his name was called several times but he didn't answer. eight hours later, his body was found in the waiting room. the hospital has an average wait time of five hours and people who work there say they are understaffed. the super bowl and the united nations tackling the world's most pressing issue. is this washington redskins' name offensive? diplomates meeting with the united nation on the issue. the team says the u.n. should be getting back to focusing on world peace. tom says stupid. with all the world's problems and the u.n. is weighing in on football? >> president obama may not like fox news, but i think he respects bill o'reiley. many have been tuning in on sunday for the pre-super bowl programming. i think the president thinks this could help him even though he can't help bringing up fox and limbaugh, as well. >> we saw newt gingrich try a similar campaign, as well. does this, having covered the media for so many years, does this work, attacking the media?
