One didnt. If you havent watched it, its a will kane recommendation. Its great to be here in studio f. Right, dave . Studio f. Out of studio h, into studio f. Good to see you. Good to see you. I get the studios mixed up in the fox building. Theres so many of them. Were so lucky. We get to come in when its dark out and we bring the light. [ laughter ] so great to see you both. I was liking studio h. I like that one as well. So big show today and great to see you guys bright and early. Theres a lot to get to today. Several big stories, starting with President Trump. He says hes me medicationfreed a feeling great in the first on camera interview since being diagnosed with covid19. With the next debate now canceled, the president is preparing for a white house event today. Rich edson is live in washington with more on the president s schedule. Reporter this will be his first inperson event since he tested positive for covid19. The president in his first on camera interview says hes feeling up to it. I feel really, really strong and a lot of people dont feel that way sometimes for a while afterwards. Theyve done tremendous testing and right now im medicationfree. Im not taking any medications as of of probably eight hours ago or so. Im medicationfree which frankly makes me feel goods. Reporter its unclear when the president last tested negative for covid. Doctors at Walter Reed Medical Center say they treated him with oxygen and antiviral medication and a steroid thats typically used in severe cases. The president returns to inperson events, as a major one for the upcoming week is off. Ththursdays president ial debate is canceled between the president and former Vice President joe biden. The commission tried to hold a virtual debate. The president rejected that idea. After he refused the virtual debate, bidens campaign scheduled a townhall for that night. The final debate is scheduled for october 22nd. The president S White House event today will be his first public event in a week andahalf. The white house event is also two weeks after the rose garden ceremony for Supreme Court nomination of judge Amy Coney Barrett where dozens in attendance including white house officials and many senators and others announced later they tested positive for the virus. Back to you guys. Rich, thank you very much. Consider where we were, guys. Last weekend it was all about wall a tear reed, all about walter reed, all about wheres the president , whats his status. The president was on with tucker last night with dr. Mark siegel, saying im raring and ready to go. The event at the white house is billed as a peaceful protest in true trumpian fashion. I mentioned dr. Mark siegel. He will be on the show this morning, along with a great slate of guests, including senator Marsha Blackburn, Lawrence Jones, and steve and kathy doocy will be here this morning as well. And even more names than that. You cant beat steve doocy. You can tell in listening to the president , he was on tucker last night, he was on hand at this the night before, he hannity the night before. He was on mark levins program. Hes itching to get out. Molly hemingway talked about how important the rallies that are coming are in the last few weeks. Listen. Particularly given the other constraints involved with this year, i think rallies are very important for President Trump in the final few weeks of this campaign. It seems like he is enthusiastic, his fans areen enthusiastic. Theres a lot of big issues where i think President Trump might have learned from how Vice President pence handled himself in the last debate, talking about all those successes that the Trump Administration has had is something that should be helpful in the closing weeks of the campaign. Yeah, i think one of the things in watching thats been really fascinating to watch is the coverage of the antibody cocktail too. Thats not ready available to people right now. It looks like it made a big difference in the president s treatment. Thats fantastic news not only of for him but for other people hoping that that becomes available. I think the issues of the rallies will come up. We debated that here. Im appreciative of the perspective from both of you. I would urge some caution with the rallies once again. Weve seen some cases pop out of the white house, more than id like to see with respect to the rose garden ceremony. Weve seen some concerns about the rallies, now in minnesota apparently several cases have been linked to a september 18th event. I always follow the doctors on these things, not the politicians. The politician versus a job to do. Their job is to get reelected or to get elected in joe bidens case. No matter what the politician tells you, always check with your doctor, figure out whats safe to you. Everyone has to find their comfort zone in this. I think there will be some different strategy. Im curious to see if the event today at the white house or the rally thats supposed to happen monday in florida, if it will look any different. We have guests we can ask questions about that with. But on that issue of the debate, that has come up, thats been highly debated. We were all excited and waiting to see the next debate, at least i was, im sure you were as well and many members of the audience as well. When we saw that was canceled, i think that was a little bit of a downer. People really need to hear more on the issues. There was disappoint hadnt disappointment last time around. President trump said i have an alternative, i have no problem with an outside debate. He mentioned that on tucker carlson. Listen to what he had to say on that. And youve said you wanted to be in person. How would you feel about a debate outside on miami beach . Id have no trouble with it at all. In fact, when we have rallies outside weve had no problem whatsoever. Outside is better than inside, as you know, with this crazy thing and its gover gone on. I have no problem with this many we have had a problem with this commission. This commissions been ridiculous, actually. Who wants to do a debate on a computer . You cant do it on a computer. Joe has a tendency to get the answers and read them off a computer when hes asked questions. I would love to do it outside would be fine, as far as im concerned. Pete, jedediah, i am incredibly disappointed with the cancellation of the second debate. Rallies are an important part of President Trumps Campaign Strategy and they inject the campaign with energy with those that already believe in President Trump. But i think debates are integral to winning an election. Look, pete, you know this. I believe this is a critical moment in American History where very big decision versus to be made, not just about issues like packing the court but issues as to whether or not individualism is going to be a big part of the american you future, were going to move toward an ideology of group identity. I want to see somebody, because it will not be a moderator, i want to see somebody it has to be President Trump, press the Biden Campaign on where they stand on critical issues. It can only happen in a debate format. Im incredibly disappointed the second debate has been canceled. The third one is crucial. The moderators havent done it. Steve scully wasnt going to do it, the resident democrat moderator. So we do want these forums. To the point about science and rallies and all of that, at this point the campaigns have made their decisions. People can choose. Do i want to go or not go. Do i believe we should be masked in wide circles or do i think we can congregate because we can make choice force ourselves. Thats not something for a scientist to dictate. Thats something for a president and campaign to decide. This commission which has made unilateral decisions without conferring with the campaigns is putting the finger on the scale and effectively said, by saying were going virtual, they knew they would create an environment where President Trump would say im not going to do that, ear pieces and teleprompters and mute buttons, im out for that. I want to ask joe biden the questions the moderators wont ask. There was an interesting tweet that came out overnight. A statesman for our country, bob dole, listen to what bob dole tweeted about this commission on president ial debates. He tweeted the commission on president ial debates is supposedly bipartisan with an equal number of rs and ds. I know all of the republicans and most are friends of mine. Im concerned that none of them supports donald trump, a biased Debate Commission is unfair. Its one thing for for a membf the Trump Campaign to say that. Its another thing for someone like bob dole, who knows the Bipartisan Commission folks who say just because youre a republican doesnt mean you support donald trump and what he stands for. Turns out, people on the commission they dont really like President Trump that much so maybe they dont want to help him out, help him facilitate two additional debates. Ideally when you look at that commission you would want to see some balance there as well. Lets take a look at it, pete. Who makes up the commission on president ial debates. We have names for you, Kenneth Wallace, donated to obamas campaigns. He led a li liberal think tank, dorothy ridings, doug donated to democratic campaigns. Richard parsons, one of the commissions republican board members, he said in 2018 that President Trump is ill equipped to be president of the United States and isnt good for america. Olympia snow, former republican maine senator known for you opposing trump in 2016. You look at the list and you say to yourself how can these people make an unbiased decision about the debate and thats why people have problems because you can argue that maybe that debate could have been held virtually, people across the country have been working virtually in many parts. When you look at the commission and you look at the makeup, what they said in the past, this is what happens with the debate moderators. When they they have a history of making comments that are biased, you cant help but see what you see. The pretense of objectivity has been pierced. Hes was hacked, will, three times. He was hacked three times. He didnt tweet at scaramucci, he was hacked three times. If you bu that, i if you buy that, i have a bridge to sell you next to my house. We have another big story were following, hurricane delta turning into a Tropical Storm overnight before hits louisiana as a category 2 hurricane. Casey siegel is live in lake charles with a look at the damage. Reporter once we have daylight, were going to get a better sense of just how much damage hurricane delta did. Its hard to tell whats old and whats new because as you know, hurricane laura just decimated this area six weeks ago. This bridal shop is part of the damage of that storm. However, we think that the debris, a lot of it in the parking lot like this sheet metal has blown when delta made landfall. Right now, 574,000, more than 574,000 people without power in louisiana, more than 100,000 without power over in neighboring texas. Hurricane delta did make landfall about 6 00 p. M. Central time as a category 2 hurricane, about 4 40 miles south of us alg the coast in creole, louisiana. Its been downgraded to a Tropical Storm and deltas impacts are farreaching. This is video from jenings, louisiana. You can see the wind and the rain just coming down in sheets. Some areas got up to 16 inches of rain, higher than originally projected. Now, more than 70 miles to our east, the city of lafayette, louisiana also impacted. So again, just a whole lot going on with this storm. At this point, no casualties that were hearing of at this point. But again, people are still evacuated from these zones and as the sun comes up, we expect people to start returning and see whats left. Back to you. Casey, great to hear no casualty, but man, louisiana, thank you so much. Appreciate it, casey. Two members of the socalled isis beatles have been indicted in the United States on eight charges linked to those deaths. Theyre pleading not guilty. James foley was among those four americans, he was murdered in 2014 and his mother, dianne foley joins me now. Dianne, good morning. Thank you for being here. Grateful to have you. Did you ever believe that this day would come, when your sons killer would be on american soil about to face justice. Well, im hugely grateful. It feels miraculous. Its been a long journey, pete. It really has. Im so grateful. I can only imagine. And what do you credit it to . What efforts made this happen . The efforts of the fbi, kieran ramsey, head of fusion, department of justice, attorney general barr and the good attorneys of the department of justice as well as our ambassadors, robert obrien, Roger Karsten but also nongovernmental people like the ali suffan group out of new york, David Bradley out of washington, all good people have been incredibly supportive, have actually listened to us as victims, if you will, and have been so good to us. Persevering in achieving this huge step towards a bit of justice. Pete whats it been like . This is 2012 that your son was kidnapped. Hits been eight years. Youve watched the fight against isis develop over that time. How has that changed your attitude or of your sentiment and certainly with the president saying were going to crush the caliphate . How has it changed my sentiment . Pete how has your mood changed over the years . Do you feel like us crushing isis has helped part of this process as well in addition to bringing your sons killer to the United States. Well, you know, none of this brings jim back. What i am most grateful for is the fact that the Trump Administration has prioritized the return of innocent americans who are taken hostage abroad. Im hugely grateful for that. And i also think by bringing the beatles here to the United States that accountability is essential to stop terrorists, if you will, and others who seek to take advantage of hostagetaking and other methods of, you know, having power over our government, if you will. So i think its a huge step forward. I am hugely grateful for this administration continuing this to be a priority. There are truly hundreds of innocent americans unjustly detained or taken each year. So i think its an important issue for our own National Security that we can confront these individuals and get information from them about pete dianne foley, god bless your son. God bless your fight. Were with you. Congratulations on this one step, justice being served. We appreciate it. All right. More fox friends on the other side. The white house and pelosi resuming relief talks. Mitch mcconnell says he does not expect to reach an agreement before the election next month. Over to, jedediah. Jedediah the confirmation hearings for judge Amy Coney Barrett are set to begin on monday as Congress Gears up for an intense showdown. Our next guest has known judge barrett for 15 years and says liberals have nothing to fear over the prospect of a justice Amy Coney Barrett. Here to explain, is author of what it means to be human, the case for the body and public bioethics, professor carter snead. Welcome to the show. Its wonderful to have you here on an issue like this, someone who knows Amy Coney Barrett for a long time. What can you tell us about here, her character and what we could likely expect in a justice barrett. Sure. Thanks for having me on. Justice hopefully justice judge barrett is an extraordinary person. She is absolutely brilliant. In addition to her brilliance, shes one of the most extraordinarily good people ive ever met. She has the highest integrity, disciplined, fair, all the virtues you want in a Supreme Court justice are embodied in judge barrett. Jedediah what do you say to people who have already begun labeling her as an extremist . I dont understand what that could possibly mean. Judge barrett is one of the most normal, lovely people you could ever meet. One of the things folks say about judge barrett is if you dont want to like her, you better never meet her. I think seeing her in the rose garden, seeing her on capitol hill, people will see immediately that this is something you would admire in public life but also someone that you would like having as a friend. She is a family person, she likes to go to tailgates, likes to have dinner parties. She does a fantastic job. She would have folks over during the all of the new orleans festivals, mardi gras, three kings. She and her husband would make Shrimp Creole and jambalaya. The efforts to label people extremists or conservatives, this is out of the playbook politicians use every time theres a Supreme Court appointment. I think people will see for themselves that its just not plausible when this amazing woman comes before the United States and her hearings on monday. Jedediah yeah. And finally, just quickly, but the goal for many of us is to get a constitutionalist. We dont want anyones personal beliefs to be front and center when theyre a Supreme Court justice. Do you trust she would be able to put personal views aside and just rule based on the constitution . I do. This is a big point of confusion. What you want in a judge a judge is not a politician. What you want is someone who will put their views aside and focus on the constitution or focus on the statute thats at issue. She testified under oath in 2017 and her record as a judge since then has borne it out that she will use discipline and focused on the legal questions and her personal views are completely irrelevant to her work as a judge. We can all be confident. Thats what i meant in the article, liberals have nothing to fear in that judge barretts personal views are irrelevant. She has open mindedness to focus only on the you law when she does work her in the courtroom. Jedediah professor, thank you for being here today. We look forward to checking out the hearing on monday as well. Thanks so much. Thanks. Appreciate it. Jedediah nancy pelosi is rolling out her plan to potential remove a sitting president. This is not about President Trump. He shows a need for us to create a process for future president s. Jedediah so is this actually about President Trump or is this really part of a larger plan to remove a potential President Biden . Were going to ask Marsha Blackburn coming up next. He will face the judgment of the voters. But he shows the need for us to create a process for future president s. Give some comfort to people that there is a way to do this, very respectful, again, with the full involvement of the Vice President of the United States. Whoever he or she may be at the time. Has the president not met the thrush threshold for invoking te 25th amendment. I dont understand. The ground work or the rhetoric being laid for a transition of power from president to Vice President , is it about President Trump or is it about a potential President Biden and senator harris . Lets bring in senator Marsha Blackburn. Senator blackburn, thank you for being with us. Im going to put that question to you. Forgive me if i give you a double barreled question. Does a 25th amendment proposition as laid out by nancy pelosi have a prayer of passing and if so, or not, whats the real motivation here . Is it about President Trump or about joe biden . Well, first of all, it is not going to pass and youre exactly right on that, will. Secondly, what we have to remember is that nancy pelosi and the democrats never accepted the outcome of the 2016 election. They tried the russia collusion, the ukraine collusion, impeachment, the post Office Scandal and now shes onto the 25th amendment. Its all about creating doubt about the president and then if biden does win, they want to have Kamala Harris in that spot as president or maybe pelosis trying to make way for herself to be the first female president. But pushing forward this leftist agenda, moving us towards socialism, they have been focused on it, the left is now running the Democratic Party. You can look at their first 100 day aje agenda with socialized medicine, green new deal, the Court Packing and statehood for d. C. , abolishing the electoral college. They are focused on it. And this is another thing. She said she had arrows in her quiver and this is one of them. I guess. You mentioned, senator, Court Packing, not putting judges you like in the court but expanding the number of justices on the court so you can put your own agenda onto the court. Its an insane idea. Its a radical idea. Joe biden refuses today joe biden, i dont know where he is right now, 6. 0, refuses to answer whether he would do it or not but joe biden 2. 0 from 1983 had this to say about the idea of Court Packing. Listen. President roosevelt clearly had the right to send to the United States senate and congress the proposal to pack the court. It was within his right to do that. He violated no law. He was lega legally correct butt was a bonehead idea. It was a terrible, terrible mistake to make and it put in question for an entire decade the independence of the most significant body including the congress in my view, the most significant body in this country, the Supreme Court of the United States of america. Senator, how does a bonehead idea become one what youre not only flirting with but you wont answer questions about because youre scared of your left wing base and might even do it . Well, when you are desperate to win this race because you have been running for president for 30 years and youve been in d. C. For 47 years, without any significant accomplishment, youre going to keep throwing things against the wall and see what sticks. And if the left wants Court Packing you know, pete, it is so significant that neither biden nor harris will answer this question and they will tell you were not going to tell you what were going to say about that because then it becomes the headline. Which means they answered the question with their nonanswer. They intend to pack the court and its going to be one of the very first things they do, because if they dont, then theyre not going to get through the rest of this 100day agenda. Jedediah yeah, senator, its absolutely insane that they havent answered that he question or been pressured adequately on it in my opinion, frankly. This week we have confirmation hearings for judge Amy Coney Barrett. They begin monday. You sit on the Senate Judiciary committee. What do you think were likely to see here as monday opens up . Yes, jed, and we have been working all week making preparations for judge barretts hearing. We will begin with our Opening Statements on monday. Then on tuesday and wednesday youre going to have rounds of questioning, where each member is going to have the opportunity to question. We understand that senator harris is going to return for the questioning and bare in mind, were going to use the hybrid method of hearings so people can come virtually or in person and youre going to have different members appear in different ways. Thursday, the last day, well hear from outside groups. We will hold the first vote on moving her from committee. We will vote her out of committee on october 22nd. And then probably the 26th or 27th we will have her on the floor for confirmation as our next Supreme Court justice. 25th amendment, Court Packing, Supreme Court nominations, not to mention shutdowns, elections have to be about more than personality. Senator, thank you so much for your time this morning. Turning to your headlines, a judge rules former Minneapolis Police officer Derek Chauvin can live outside minnesota during to safety concerns as he awaits trial. Jedediah we are back with extreme weather. Delta turning into a Tropical Storm overnight after making landfall as a category 2 hurricane. The storm slamming the louisiana coast with heavy rains and winds, adding to the destruction left by hurricane laura just weeks ago. Nearly 600,000 Power Outages have been reported statewide. Meteorologist Rick Reichmuth joins us with the latest. Rick . Good morning, people had just gotten their power back from hurricane laura and now this happens, a lot of homes with tarps over it for roofs and now getting the second storm. It really did weaken before making landfall. 100mileanhour storm when it made landfall, just around 15 miles from where hurricane laura made landfall six weeks ago. Its moving pretty quick. Its disintegrating as it moves over land which is good news. Take a look at this, this season has been so active, 10 Tropical Storms have made landfall on the continental u. S. , five of those as hurricanes. There is no storm behind this that were watching right now and thats the good news. Hopefully we have a break and hopefully were going to ride out the rest of the season with things becoming much calmer. This is what the satellite looks like right now. It doesnt look like anything significant at this point. There is rain from this, some spots are going to see pretty significant rain today as this pulls off towards the north and towards the east and the southeast is going to remain soggy today. Where you see the red, thats the bullseye, nashville, probably a little west towards memphis. Get ready for the threat for some flooding today from the storm. Guys, back to you. Thanks, rick. One group is gearing up to help those in need. Our friends at team rubicon turn their attention to the Tropical Storm and have started clearing debris in the lake charles area. Jedediah here with an update is senior Vice President of programs, david burke. Welcome to the show. You guys do amazing work. Give us insight as to what is happening on the ground from your team right now. Thank you. Good morning, everybody. The team here in louisiana right now, heading into jeff davis parish as soon as we wrap up here, and we have a team that runs chainsaws and heavy equipment and will coordinate with officials to clear the roads in communities like lake arthur and jennings, louisiana and ensure those communities can get access for emergency vehicles. As soon as we can work with parish officials to get that type of work done, we will shift back to continue to work for homeowners that weve been doing for six weeks and one day since hurricane laura made impact in this area. I know its early and still dark. Give us a sense of what youve seen on the ground this morning, flooding, downed trees, whats the status where you are locally. Where we are, this is a pocket that somehow yo escaped e Power Outages. Its pretty calm this morning. The waters have receded from the area here in eunice. We were staged in orange, texas, to the west of the state line, just at the state line. They saw Power Outages and flooding. They are moving right now into louisiana, through lake charles and reporting clear roads on their path and well see if they see anything on the way. Were going to head south as soon as this wraps up and see if we see what we see along the route but eunice it appears in the immediate area has been spared significant damage. David, youre going back of to the same place youve been for six weeks because it was just hit recently. How does it change your approach that youre going into communities that have already been affected . Where do you start . Whats different . One of the major differences well see, we have nearly 15 150 gray shirts, our volunteers that are standing by and ready to get back into areas that we already had established and the immediate days after a storm that was not followed by another storm, like this terrible incident, we take a little bit more time to phase in, coordinate with local officials and ensure we have safe places for volunteers to stay and go to work. Right now what we know is many of the homeowners that we already helped lost tarps, many homeowners we already helped experienced more damage. Well get back into the exact same locations where we had volunteers staying and doing work and get back to work as early as this afternoon and well definitely be back in the swing tomorrow. Good to hear. Jedediah david, thank you so much for being here today and for all you do. So many across the country, ourselves included, are so deeply prior ya testify. Thank you appreciative. Thank you. Jedediah millions with working from home and microsoft has a plan to make it permanent. Kurt the cyber guy says this could be good for workers and companies. Now some tech giants are moving to make working remotely permanent. An internal memo reveals microsoft is laying the ground work for allowing most of its employees to work from home part of the week or even indefinitely. Kurt the cyber guy says this offers positives for workers and companies. He joins me now. Good morning, kurt. Lets start with the positives. You think this is a good thing . Tell me about it. Hey, will. You know, that you apeered on the blog appeared on the blog post from the hr director of microsoft to its 15 150,000 employees, saying you have two choices. One, you can come into the office as you have in the past once we reopen and do a half and half thing, so 5 50 home, 50 n the office. Or like i think a lot of people are going to do, you can permanently move wherever you want, call it bermuda, the bahamas, india, on the riviera or in a dude ranch in the middle of the country, youll still be employed at microsoft if your manager approves it. However, there is a downside to it, will, which is that theyre going to do a geo pay scale. If the cost of living is lower where youre going, you may see a downward spiral in your salary at that point and a little bit of erosion of your benefits. Theyre not going to pay for the move but they are going to pay for the digs of your new offices at a home. Will you can move wherever you want, even internationally. They will geo pay, cost of living scale what youre making. Let me press you for a moment on a couple of ideas. Do you think this is about health, this is about covid, is this about saving on real estate costs for these companies . Whats it about . Yeah, i think every one of the fo fortune 500 companies, youve seen it with facebook and twitter, i think theyre recognizing cost savings that at the same time theyre getting the productivity out of the worker but theyre saying, hey, why are we paying all this real estate rent in big cities. Why do we have this massive campus that we can cut back on and allow these workers to just be wherever they want to and set their own hours. Will is productivity staying up . Are we managing to stay as productive remotely as we would be in offices . You know, the water cooler value i think has still some extraordinary value that you just dont get working remotely. But at the same time, what were finding is that workers are putting in more hours even though theyre working from home. So its a tossup with it. Productivity is up, if you look at Financial Results of many of the fortune 500 companies, theyre doing quite okay. Will one more question for you, kurt. I know a lot of people will hear this and think great, i can move to the dude ranch that you pointed out and i can keep working. Doesnt this have downstream economic effects. Google is in new york city. Nobody is showing up. That means the delis and businesses that surround environments where theres a bunch of workers are disappearing as well. In other words, the ecosystem of everyone working together isnt supported so other businesses begin to fail. I think youll see tanking of real estate prices in urban markets if this takes off on a grand scale, to say nothing of the mom and pop businesses along the way. Lets say you take a train from long island to manhattan. All the businesses along the way such arrest where we may have stopped to get coffee or a quick breakfast, those wont be supported if workers arent coming into the cities. Will its got pluses and clearly has minus as well. Fascinating. Kurt knutsson, the cyber guy, thanks for your time this morning. All right. Coming up, hogan gidley, Morgan Ortagus and steve and kathy doocy on their new book, thats coming up on fox friends. fisherman vo how do i register to vote . Hmm . Hmm . Hour of fox friends weekend, here with will kane, with pete hegseth. We are 24 days until the president ial election. I dont know where the time goes. I have breaking news for you both. I managed to find a matching Halloween Costume for my 4pound dog and 11monthold child and i promise the pictures will not disappoint. I hope everybody in new york city, meaning those in charge, allow us to go trick or treating. Weve discussed it with my children. If they say we cant trick or treat, well put on masks and go out and loot peoples front porches for candy. I think thats allowed. Im not sure about trick or treating. Its just a peaceful protest, when youre looking for candy. I dont know about dog costumes, they seem a little out of bounds. Jedediah its a good one. A lot of people do that. Jedediah its a good one. Youre not going to trust me, it will put a smile on your face. Plus, you already met daisy and you know her cuteness has no competitor. Daisy and i made out on camera. Thats a thing. Theres videotape. We did. You said 24 days until the election. As we said in the military, 23 and a wakeup. We are getting closer, almost three weeks to election day and every week feels like more than a week, so we still have a lot coming in front of us. Consider where we were last weekend, guys, covering the president and his recovery at walter reed. Now the president is raring to go. Hes going to have what hes calling a peaceful protest today at the white house with supporters followed by hitting the campaign trail again on monday, in florida. But he was on Tucker Carlsons show last night with dr. Marc siegel, answering questions about his symptoms and his recovery. Heres the president last night. I feel really good. I feel very strong. I know a lot of people that have had the covid or the china virus as i call it, because it came from china, but i feel really, really strong. I didnt have a problem with breathing which a lot of people seem to have. I had none of that. But i didnt feel very strong. I didnt feel very vital. I didnt feel like the president of the u. S. Should feel. You know, as soon as i felt something and, you know, and im thinking about it because i see whats going on and i have a lot of people that are around me even though theres tremendous testing. Theres a lot of people around me so i think about it. I know theres a danger. I cant be someone that hides in a basement for the rest of my life. Im running a country. He doesnt strike me as a basement guy. Cant hold him down very long, going to get out on the trail and, you know, jed, it looks like hes effectively saying its time to move on. Its time to turn the page. Lets, from what happened last week, we can recognize it, we recover from it. Now lets campaign. And hes going to continually challenge joe biden to answer some questions he doesnt seem to want to answer. Jedediah yeah. Hes also paid great tribute to not only the team at walter reed but to the treatments he received. Some of those treatments arent yet available to the public. The hope is they will be. If they are successful in treating the president , it seems they have in large part been, thats fantastic news for the population at large. I think, t pete, you alluded to an earlier point that i think is true. I think that people have made up their minds already about how they feel about the administrations handling of covid19, how they feel about the rallies, and i think theyre either comfortable with the way the president handled it or theyre not. I think those decisions have been made. So i think know that this is the way the administration feels about it, the biden camp feels differently and you already picked your side on that so lets move on and lets dig into other issues and we can see where people feel about those things. I dont think theres a lot of undecideds left on the issue of covid19 and the handling of it. I dont think theres much undecideds left at all at this point. Still feeling theres a need for a president ial debate. I think in large part people have made up their minds on many of these things already. This still very important issues that were not getting straight answers on. Jedediah you used the phrase decisions have been made. What decisions have been made by joe biden and Kamala Harris on whether or not they would choose to pack the courts. I have noticed, people dont seem to understand or many people what it means to pack the courts. Not simply putting in justices. You made the point yesterday, a great point. A lot of people think it means putting in judges that agree with your point of view. No, its increasing the number of justices from nine to some undetermined number. We had nine for 150 years and nobody since fdr has you attempted to pack the court. If bu biden and harris would che to do so it would be fundamentally radical to the american Justice System. So will they choose to pack the court. Heres what goa scre joe biden y about this. Youll know my opinion on Court Packing when the election is over. Its a great question and i dont blame you for asking. You know, the moment i answer that question, the headline in every one of your papers will be about that. Other than other than focusing on whats happening now. Heres whats important to note. The answer to whether or not they would pack the court has to be yes. Theyve been given numerous occasions to deny they would pack the court and they have declined to do so. More importantly, pete, in that clip we just played, what did he say . If i answer your question, that will be your headline. Well, not if you say youre not going to pack the court. That would not be a headline. Thats a nothing story. But if you say yes, youre right, the newspapers and websites and Television Shows will scream for the first time in 150 years, biden and harris will try to grow the number of justices. And rightfully so. Sometimes in a campaign you see an issue you develop that you didnt anticipate. How do you articulate, how do you demonstrate the radicalism of the harris biden ticket, is it the green new deal, open borders, raising taxes, not supporting the police. You wonder how do you reveal that Bernie Sanders socialism has taken over the Democrat Party and then you stumble on an issue like packing the court. Adding justices. Where they know their raab bid base wants it because they hate trump and hate the fact theres a 63 majority. They realize they block on their power. Look at how he answers the question. Thats a great question and i dont blame you for asking. Because this is a president ial campaign and im supposed to answer questions. And they wont. Because their answer as you said, will, is radical and they know it. And some things change over time. This is joe biden from 1983. This kind of view doesnt change if you believe in the institutions of america. Listen to joe biden from 83. President roosevelt clearly had the right to send to the United States senate and United States congress a proposal to pack the court. It was totally within his right to do that. He violated no law. He was legally absolutely correct. But it was a bonehead idea. It was a terrible, terrible mistake to make and it put in question for an entire decade a the independence of the most significant body including the congress, in my view, the most significant body in this country, the Supreme Court of the United States of america. Where is that joe biden . Jedediah yeah. So i mean, this is an old clip from 1983. He should answer this question. Its absurd. The answer is obviously yes because if it were no, he would have said it already. But you have to wonder. Is it strategically smart that hes not answering . That campaign feels they dont need to answer that question, that by answering that question theyre going to marginalize some segment of the left. Some folks will say its not too hard left enough, the decision to not pack the court or people will say its too far left to pack the court. He feels theres no advantage. He feels that his supporters wont hold him accountable for not providing them with transparency or information about what a Biden Administration would actually look like. So thats quite telling as well. We had marsha another big topic were actually talking about with respect to the court is obviously the hearing thats going to happen on monday with Amy Coney Barrett. And we had senator Marsha Blackburn on earlier. She talked about the Amy Coney Barrett hearing that starts monday. She also talked about Kamala Harris and the notion of expanding the Supreme Court. Listen to what she had to say on that issue. Its so significant that neither biden nor harris will answer this question and they will tell you were not going to tell you what were going to say about that because then it becomes the headline. Which means they answered the question with their nonanswer. They intend to pack the court. And its going to be one of the very first things they do because if they dont, then theyre not going to get through the rest of this 100day agenda. Jedediah yeah, and you know, this is a media story too. How many times do you see that question asked of joe biden . Do you intend to pack the court . Oh, im not going to answer a. Okay. Anyway, next. That is not you have to press on that issue. Its inexcusable that someone would be running for president and not answer a question like that and not be held to account. I understand he feels his base doesnt care or he feels he can get away with that but thats absolutely inexcusable that a debate should carry on or any public forum where you have reporters asking question and that should not be pressed until you get an answer. And the issue of him saying if i say yes, its going to run. Of course its going to run because that would be you telling the public transparently what you would do in your administration. Thats how it should go. You should be honest. Reporters should report what you said. The idea that he would have an issue with that or hes strategically managing it, the whole thing is absurd. Just keep asking the question and President Trump and Vice President pence and fair reporters should keep asking the question time and time and time again until maybe this becomes the definitive question of the campaign. You dont know who youre electing with joe biden. You dont know if he can finish a first term. You dont know if hell pack the court and fundamentally change america. Add to the question mark, supporters of biden he can also alienate likely voters who are hard core leftists who wont go out to the polls for him. I would say it should be an important issue. It should be something we have an answer to because joe biden once told barack obama its a big blanking deal. Yeah. And we know how that turned out. Well, nancy pelosi said weve got to pass the bill to find out whats in it. All right. Turning to your headlines, a couple additional ones. I really dont believe its just in the head either. I really believe it worked. President trump revealing details of his fight against coronavirus in his first on dashcam ray interview since he on camera interview since he tested positive last week. He spoke with dr. Marc siegel who joins us live. Thank you for being here. You talked to the president last night, you talked to him in the past. How did you think he sounded . How was his energy level . How was he now compared to when youve known him from full health in the past . I thought he was getting a lot stronger. I also thought he was very forthcoming not just about the details of his illness but some of the stuff you would think of as any patient. I said look, as a physician, my patients dont listen to me. I said did you listen to your doctors. He said i negotiated with them. He talked about when he went to the hospital he felt primarily fatigued and a sore throat and not short of breathen when he got into the hospital, the cat scan showed some congestion. He gave a lot of credit to regeneron which is the antibody cocktail that seems to be working early on. You brought up negotiating with the doctors and the president s role in his relief. Im just curious, we always hear this, dr. Siegel, 14 days, 14 days, quarantine. The president s out. Hes doing an event today. On monday hell be at a rally. A lot of his activities are within that 14 days, not just for other people but for himself and his own health, is this wise for him to get out so quickly in this timeframe . Its a really good question, will. Again, i thought the way he was putting things together and his coherence and Energy Levels seemed way up. He was standing there for like a half hour for that interview and hes a very strong individual. In terms of of the quarantine period, the centers for Disease Control has said 10 days after the onset of symptoms in moderate cases. The way he described the details of this i would say its a moderate case. He said his viral load in the hospital was very low and hes testing pretty close to negative or negative. I think some tests are pending. Another point that he made thats really important here, he said he gets tested every day or two and thats something that has come up repeatedly and that he doesnt know what event to tie this to, where he got infected in the first place, that there were multiple events that could have caused this. Thats another point of controversy that i think he put away yesterday. Right, where did he get it, how quickly has he recovered, theres a lot of great information in the interview you had last night with tucker carlson. Thanks, you did a great job. It really helps to understand what hes been through over the last two weeks. Appreciate your time. Thanks, will. Up next, President Trump and joe biden will not take the stage next week for the second president ial debated. With one more showdown left before election day, how necessary is that third debate . Very. Pollster lee carter is here next. I want you to want me. I need you to need me. I love you to love me. Im begging you im making pizza on kings hawaiian mini subs. Yum kings hawaiian. Jedediah the second president ial debate canceled after President Trump refuses to participate virtually. That leaves just one more debate on october 22nd. Now the final showdown between both candidates before the election day. But should a third debate be add ad the week before the election . Lets ask pollster and president and partner at maslansky and partners, lee carter. Welcome to the show as always. This is big news that the next debate is canceled. Talk about the impact of that and whether or not you think an additional debate should be added in. Theres a lot of questions about whether debates even matter ultimately. Do people really have they already made up their mind when they watched them . A good debate can help a candidate around 3 to 4 Percentage Points in the polls. It sounds small but its significant when you look at the numbers the way they are today especially in critical swing states. Florida, theyre one point away from each other in the polls. Arizona, theyre two points away from each other in the polls. A lot of states are within 5 Percentage Points. The debates could make a big difference to voters. I think theres a lot of voters out there who with still confused. Only a third of biden supporters say they know what joe biden is going to do should he become president. Most biden supporters with actually voting against donald trump. I think its important that he makes the case to the American People and i think the American People deserve to hear big answers. When you were talking about the Supreme Court answer, he hasntehasntanswered that. 70 of voters in 2016, it came down to the Supreme Court for them on what made them decide to vote. Its an important issue you that they need answered to. Both of them need a chance to address their vision for america. This is one of the moments where i think the American People lose with the politics of it. Jedediah you know, lee, i have gone out to the community and talked to a lot of of voters. Im in search of undecideds. I have not found one person right now who has been undecided. Youre a pollster. You do this every day. Have you heard a lot of voices saying im not sure who im going to vote for at this point in the game . Yes. And this has been really surprising to me. Ive seen polls between 5 and 11 of American People are undecided right now. Earlier this week, we had responses, about one in 10 of people said they werent sure who they were going to vote for and they react very differently than others. When you look at the dials, when you look at how people are reacting, theyre looking actually for a reason, one way or the other. The thing that theyre saying over and a over again is im just not sure what either of the candidates is going to do for me. I hear about how they hate the other side, how bad its going to be if the other one is elected. I havent heard a clear vision from either side. They know donald trump, they feel he hasnt made his case on some issues that are most important for them. They want to understand the future of covid, they want to understand the future of safety. With joe biden theyre unclear. They say i hear hes a decent guy. Whats he going to do . I think its about 10 of of americans who are saying give me a reason to vote for you. Jedediah thats fascinating and obviously changes the perspective on how important the next two potentially one at minimum debate would be. I want to ask you, there was controversy about the next debate that emerged this week, the debate moderator steve scully coming out and saying he was hacked. He sent a bizarre tweet out to anthony scaramucci, maybe some are saying it was supposed to be a direct message. Scaramucci responded to skullly saying ignore, hes having a hard enough time, more bad stuff to about to go on. This particular gentleman, skullly, has made accusations of hacking twice before of his account. Whats your the take . I have a hard time with this one. I like to give the benefit of the doubt in these kinds of cases. He has a great record. Hes known to be pretty fair. If this turns out to be a hack, i think it should be pretty easy for twitter to verify that. A direct message, why would you communicate in that way about something so sensitive . It seems absolutely reckless. Frankly, its not smart. So if its true, it should be very easy to prove and the social Media Company should be able to answer the question for us very, very quickly. I had my account hacked earlier this year, it took them a while to deal with it but they were able to see what happened and so this should be something thats very, very easy to clear up and if it turns out that its not a hack, its a really big issue. I would like to get the benefit of the doubt and i would like to get some answers. Jedediah lee, thank you for joining us today on this. This was quite a week to say the least. 24 days to go. Well see what emerges in the next couple weeks. Thanks so much. Anything can happen. Jedediah you never know. All right. Coming up, President Trump is getting back on the trail after his physician gives him the green light to resume Public Events following his covid19 diagnosis. National press secretary for the Trump Campaign hogan gidley outlines the campaigns plan for the final stretch. Thats next. Knowing who we are is hard. Its hard. Eliminate who you are not first, and youre going to find yourself where you need to be. The race is never over. The journey has no port. The adventure never ends, because we are always on the way. Live shot of the white house on this beautiful saturday morning, october 10th. 24 days from election day. Were doing our best to cover every single angle. Lets go to hogan gidley, National Press secretary for the trump 2020 campaign. We showed a shot of the white house where there will be a peaceful protest at the white house today as well as a rally on monday in florida. What does a peaceful protest look like . The president does such a great job when hes talking to the American People regardless of the venue. His message is uplifting. It resonates with the people of the country. Its important that he be out there. Thankful that he recovered so quickly, so well from this coronavirus. Hes as tough as nails. He has the best medical team around him. They are world class, the most renowned and hes going to be back out there. We announced an event today and an event in florida next week. Well have more events upcoming. The president wants to be out there, wants to do it in a safe way, wants to make sure the American People are protected, that he is also safe but its going to be a really good day today and of course moving into a very Robust Campaign schedule moving forward once the doctors clear everything. He did more in a week, going to more towns and cities than joe biden does in years. So hes got the best work ethic, hes got the best record, youre going to see that today. Jedediah hogan, theres been genuine curiosity if there would be any change of strategy. Looks like not so. Since the president was diagnosed with covid19 and many surrounding him were diagnosed with covid19. Do you anticipate that at these gatherings or at these rallies there will be any change in protocol from what we saw prior to the diagnosis or do you expect it to continue as was seen before . Look, every time we gather with people around the president we hand out masks, we give them encouragement to wear those masks, we hand out hand sanitizer, more than you can use in a year, much less a two our rally, also Temperature Check everybody that comes through the door. Thats significant and important. We want to follow guidelines. Those wh it applies to thoseo love the president. You can peacefully assemble to support the president. People do that. They want to hear from the commander in chief, not just about the success in the past but what hes going to do for them in the future. Make sure that all the guidelines are followed, again. We he have consulted the campaign to make sure that the proper protocols and proper measures are put in place and thats going to continue regardless of the venue, regardless of the state. Very disappointed to hear the second debate is being canceled. Its very important for the president to speak to the American People. Its important for him to press his opponent. Everyone at this point i think knows what the campaign is up against when it comes to moderators and rules and debates. Bob dole, he said the following when it comes to the president ial commission on debates. He said its supposedly bipartisan with an equal number of rs and ds, i know a lot of the republicans and most of them are friends of mine. Im concerned that none of them support donald trump. A biased Debate Commission is unfair. Thats undoubtedly true, hogan. Still, you have to press your opponent on the issues. I have to ask you, if you get back up on the debate stage one more time, whats the issue, whats the main one, whats the one youre going to bang your drum about, that people go home that the president can press joe biden on. I worked for bob doles wife for a while. Theyre a tough bunch. For him to say i know this committee is biased, thats pretty telling. They did this to us without any consultation whatsoever, trying to tip the scale in favor of joe biden. Ill tell you what were not talking about. What Vice President mike pence was able to do on that debate stage to the ticket. He systematically put them into a box, both biden and Kamala Harris. They couldnt point backwards to anything vie presiden vice presn has ever done because he has 50 year career of failure in elected office. They couldnt point forward to anything the ticket would do because its so radical, packing the Supreme Court, open borders, green new deals that would kill ten andahalf Million Energy jobs, being for banning fracking that would crush pennsylvania, that would suffer greatly with the radical ideology, free healthcare to illegal aliens, thats the kind of stuff they couldnt point to. Vice president pence did a good job of pointing out the absolute fact that President Trump has done more to improve the lives of all americans in 46 months than joe biden did in 47 years. It took a Vice President to do it. No member of the media have asked them any other questions other than joe, whats your favorite color, joe, what kind of tree would you be. Vice president pence began to lay the ground work. We think the next debate will be better. We know the moderators will not press the candidates. That puts the importance back on the president. We hope to see that in that third debate. Hogan. Thank you for your time. Thanks so much. Turning to your headlines, and this just in. Before we get to your book and your story which a lot of our viewers are familiar with, but you go deeper in the book, your reaction to the plan to try to get all american troops home by chriss mass from afghanistan christmas from afghanistan. Its about time we have a commander in chief that understands how the military works. Weve been like you just said, weve been over there for two decades. The world we built is starting to take the training wheels off and i think we should be proud of that and i think we should embrace that and we should fight a much smarter war. Its time we fight a smarter fight. We have the capability. We have the technology. Weve got the infrastructure and weve got the worlds greatest military. Its time we fight that fight. When you say a smarter fight, what do you mean by that . Well, you know, we dont necessarily need tens of thousands of troops on the ground, boots on the ground, to do this fight. We have capabilities to do surgical strikes from just like the president did with regard to syria in the very beginning of the administration, we have so many great capabilities that we can still use. We dont necessarily need to put americans lives on the line in afghanistan and in iraq. The president loves the troops and thats why he wants to do this. Absolutely. Clint, lets get to speaking of loving the troops, lets get to your book, supe stolen honor, falsely accused and my long road to freedom. Why did you write the book . As an army officer yourself, yoyoure familiar with the after action review process in the army and after going through this whole process i set off over a period of several years i wrote this, came up with some key things we need to fix in the military Justice System and you know, two key things im in law school right now. One of the things were learning is all americans should have access to the Constitutional Rights that protect us all and in the military you give those up. I dont think that should be the case. Absolutely. Whats one part of the story people may not know, clint, if theyve seen your segments on fox. One part of the story is i get into a very i sort of bring it home in terms of how having the wrong guy in the white house in president obama will really directly affect somebodys life and my whole family has been affected. Trickles all the way down to the First Lieutenant making the call on the ground. We have to leave it right there. The book is stolen honor. Congratulations. More fox friends on the other side. President trump is saying he is medicationfree now, feeling great in his first oncamera interview since being diagnosed with covid19, and with the next debate canceled, hes preparing for a white house event today. Rich edison is live in washington, whats the latest . Reporter good morning. The president is gearing up for his first inperson event since testing positive for covid19 and announcing he had done so. This afternoon the white house, 2 00, the president will be holding an event on the south lawn of the white house. The theme of this will surround law and order, one of his campaign themes. The president did his first oncamera interview since testing positive and says he feels up to it. I feel really, really strong, and a lot of people dont feel that way sometimes for a while afterwards. Theyve done tremendous testing. Right now im medicationfree. Im not taking any medications as of, you know, probably eight hours ago. So im medicationfree. Which, frankly, makes me feel good. Reporter and still unclear when the president last tested negative for covid. Doctors at Walter Reed Medical Center say they earlier treated him with oxygen, antiviral medication and a steroid. The president returns to inperson events, a major one for the upcoming week is off. The commission on president ial debates said last night its canceling thursdays president ial debate between the president and former Vice President joe biden. The commission had tried to hold a virtual debate, but the president rejected that idea saying he wanted an inperson session. After the president refused a virtual debate, bidens campaign quickly scheduled a town hall event for the same night. The final debate is scheduled for october 22nd. The president S White House event today will be his first public one in a week and a half since a rally in duluth, minnesota, shortly before he announced he a had covid19. The white house is also hosting an event for the first time like this since two weeks ago when the one in the rose garden with the ceremony for Supreme Court nominee judge Amy Coney Barrett, thats where there were dozens of attendants who announced later on they had tested positive, senators and a number of white house officials. Back to you. Will thanks, rich. With three weeks to go until the election, every event, every debate becomes that much more important. Hogan gidley was on fox friends earlier to talk about the president Feeling Healthy enough to get back out there and have these rallies and events. This is what he said about the importance of the campaign. Is as tough as nails. He has the best medical team around him. They are world class, world renowned, and hes going to be back out there. We announced not just an event today, but an event in florida next week. Well be having more i events upcoming because the president wants to be out there. Wants to do it in a safe way, of course, wants to make sure the American People are protected, that he is also safe, but its going to be a really good day today and, of course, moving into a very Robust Campaign schedule moving forward once the doctors clear everything because he, in a week, goes to more towns and cities than joe biden does. Hes got the best work ethic, the best record, youre going to see that today. Will thats great for the Trump Campaign, but what america also needs, i believe they need these debates to happen. Very disappointing the second debate has been canceled. I believe were at a critical point in two campaigns so different at their core. Those ideas have to be litigated. Its one of the things i was disappointed in the first debate. President trump has the put joe biden on the record and press him on where he is on this critical moment in history. Pete he has to because the uncritical media will not. They are on joe bidens side. The questions the moderators give are framed to make the president look bad and to toss up a softball to joe biden. It has to be mano a mano. Thats why the president said im not going to do a virtual debate. Pence has a great debate and the next morning the commission comes occupant and says we have got to go virtual. The president respond last night. You dont want to do it in a studio . How about we do it outside. You test negative and youve said you want it to be in person. How would you feel about a debate outside on miami beach . Well, id have no trouble with it at all. In fact, when we have rallies outside, weve had no problem whatsoever. Outside is better than inside, i should know with this crazy thing thats gone on. But i would have no problem with it. But, you know, weve always had a problem with this commission. This commissions been ridiculous, frankly. Who wants to do a debate on a computer . I dont. You have to see the person. You cant do it on a computer. Besides that, joe that has the tendency to get the answers and read them off a computer. I would lo to do it outside would be fine, as far as im concerned. Jedediah yeah. There are a lot of people that feel comfortable in outdoor settings that dont necessarily feel comfortable in indoor settings, so thats something they may or may not consider. An interesting question came up, guys. Weve been talking about undecided voters and how many there are out there. I havent really spoken to any, truth ifully, at this point. But i spoke to lee carter last hour who said, you know what . There are quite a few of them. So if that is the case, id be curious to know which issues theyre still undecided about. If there is a segment of the population thats significant enough that is undecided, these debates become even more pivotal. Lots of questions have aprisonning, though Aprison Aprison arisen though. We have a tweet from bob dole who weighed in on this, and he said the commission on president ial debates, supposedly bipartisan. I know all of the republicans, and most are friends of mine. I am concerned that none of them support president donald trump, a biased Debate Commission is unfair. So theres senator bob dole, all too familiar with president ial debates, raising a red flag about potential bias there. You want this commission to not be biased for obvious reasons. So that will weigh on peoples minds in terms of the Decision Making they do, the motivation behind their Decision Making and what not. As is happening with debate moderators. We saw a lot of scandal unfold with respect to scully and his role in monitoring the debates. These are important conversations because these are the people making key decisions about these debates and what they look like. Important to know if there is a bias there, thats relevant information for the public to have. Will the people that bob dole is talking about . Here are some examples. The commissioner cochair, he doe donate donates to obamas 2008 and 2012 campaigns. Dorothy riding donated to Democratic Candidates. Jane harman, she called President Trump, quote, disgraceful. Richard parson, republican member, he said 2018 trump is ill equipped to be president of the United States, isnt good for america. Olympia snowe, also one of the republican members, shes known for opposing President Trump in 2016 of, pete. Pete so the two republicans that we just listed, one says trump isnt good for america, the other one opposed him. You dont have a Bipartisan Commission in todays america with a Republican Party that 90 of which supports the president. I love that bob dole did this. Havent seen bob dole piping in on a bunch of topics. He knows these people. These are sleepy, d. C. Perch assignment you can get after a career in politics or think tanks, and every four years for a couple of days theyre very powerful. You think theyre not wielding that power, putting their fingers on the scale to try to help the establishment joe biden that theyre all buddies with at the cocktail parties . Of course. Good for you, bob dole, for pointing out the fact that never trumpers want to tank the president. Hopefully we get more straightup debates like the American People deserve. Another big story, delta turning into a Tropical Storm overnight after hitting parts of louisiana as a category two hurricane. Casey stegall is live in lake charles with a look. Good morning. Reporter yeah. Now that the sun is starting to come up and were getting first daylight, people are going to start to see just how much damage hurricane delta left behind. Frankly, hard to tell whats old damage and whats new damage here in lake charles. This bridal shop right here, it was destroyed six weeks ago during hurricane laura. But a lot of the debris in the parking lot is new from delta. Can tell you that right now more than 588,000 people are without power across the state of louisiana, more than 100,000 over in neighboring texas. Hurricane delta made landfall yesterday as a category two hurricane, 40 miles or so south of us along the coast in creole, louisiana. Deltas impacts were far reaching. Look at this video from jennings, louisiana. Thats about 39 miles to the east of us, well inland are. You can see how heavy those winds and the rain just coming down in sheets. Some areas, in fact, getting up to 17 inches of rain. That is higher than originally forecasted and projected. Were also getting reports this morning all over the region of roadways including a major interstate the, i10, parts of it shut down because there are some overturned vehicles and 18 wheelers on those roadways that have to be cleared out. Delta also creating huge problems for the oil and gas industry. About 92 of the gulfs oil output, 92 , halted ahead of this storm because they had to evacuate more than 250 offshore rigs and other facilities. So its going to take some time for all of that to get back online. Thats e the latest, back to you guys. Will thank you. Thank you, casey. Jedediah thanks so much for that, casety. Were going to get some headlines for you now, because overnight several protesters are i arrested in wisconsin. Police fired tear gas after demonstrators threw bolts at officers and refused to follow the citys curfew. Oh, my god. [bleep] are you serious . [bleep] jedediah the city seeing a third night of unrest after a Police Officer is not charged in the deadly shooting of a teenager. And President Trump calls the Florida PoliceChiefs Association to thank them for endorsing him. Theyre the bravest and the best, and i just want to thank you all. A as you probably know, i think ive got every cop and every Law Enforcement blessing in the country. But, you know, especially in florida means so much to me, i really appreciate it. You do a great job. Jedediah the Association SaysPresident Trump has shown unwavering support for Law Enforcement. Its the groups first president ial endorsement ever. And from guarding the galaxy to mastering a rubiks cube, actor pratt showing off his latest victory. Check this out. Pretty close, its going to be close. Oh, im so close. Yes jedediah wow. Pratt solves a rubiks cube is just 55 seconds. The actor says hes been trying to do it in under a minute for a year while under quarantine. [laughter] those are your headlines. I have always been terrible, guys, at rubiks cube. You think you can do it in under 55 seconds . Will no, im a moron. Ing im not brag, but my kids can. Theres an algorithm. You can watch a youtube video, and it will teach you exactly the movement you do until its solved. You can do it. Even you, pete. [laughter] pete lets try it on fox friends. Ill study for a week and give it a shot. Will still a head, over a Million People ditching blue states. White house economic representative steve moore breaking down the offenders next. Jedediah over the last decade, one Million People have fled blue states like new york, illinois and california as red states like texas, tennessee and florida have welcomed nearly a million more. In his latest video titled where do you want to live, our next guest i says the tough question isnt red or blue, but rather, which red state to choose. Here to explain, senior economic contributor at freedomworks, steve moore. Steve, these are fascinating statistics if you really look at them, the number of people that have fled blue states and are heading to red states. Talk a little bit about the reasons why this is happening. Well, good morning, jed. This is the biggest story in america that the media has not been covering, so thanks to fox news for covering this. And, by the way, i did this video for prager u. People should go and look at the video. Weve got millions of people watching this video and what we show is that blue state america, the states that are run by liberals and democrats, are in a complete meltdown across the country. When its california, connecticut, new jersey, my home state of illinois, rhode island, these states are melting down. People are leaving in droves. And these are and then they ask the question, why are people leaving states like new york, new jersey and connecticut for states like texas, tennessee and florida, and theres a lot of answer, but its just better governance in these red states. Think about this, jenna. Florida and tennessee and texas have no income taxes, zero income tax, and the high tax states like illinois and new jersey and california, people are just leaving. By the way, thats a Million People per state, not million overall. A Million People have left illinois, a Million People have left new york. And california, by the way, jenna, californias the best weather in the country. The most beautiful state in the country, and people for the first time in American History are leaving that state, and i think it shows pretty clearly that liberal policies dont work. Jedediah uhhuh. You know, you brought up taxes, and that likely is the chief reason. We have an interesting stat9 to show that shows purchasing power by state. 100 in the u. S. Is worth 111 in tennessee versus just 83 in new jersey. 86 in new jersey. I always say this to my friends around the Country Living in new york city, my whole life i said i feel like i have to make more money to make ends meet because of the fact your dollar just doesnt go as far. Are people just now realizing this fact and saying, you know what . Let me go somewhere where my money gets me more, more land, more property, a bigger house and what not . No question about it. Youre seeing, by the way, the most interesting statistic we look at is the moving vans. Where are they moving to and from, and you just see all of the moving vans are packing people up out of connecticut and new jersey and new york and california, and theyre going to these states like tennessee. So if you wanted to rent a uhaul truck to go from tennessee to new york, it would cost you about four times less than if you want to go in the other direction, or else all the moving vans actually end up in the southern states. Its not just the taxes. It clearly is a big factor, but the other change thats going on in america right now is that the blue states like illinois im in chicago right now new york, new jersey, california, these states have locked down their economies. Theyve locked down their economies whereas youve got the red states are open now. Floridas open for business, texas is open for business, tennessee. Jedediah yeah. One last statistic. Of the ten states with the highest Unemployment Rate today, nine of them are run by democrats. Jedediah yeah. I mean, its just wild what were seeing in addition to the crime thats erupted in a lot of these cities and now, of course, in the midst of a pandemic, People Living in close quarters and choosing other options. Steve, thank you so much for being here. We appreciate. Got more fox friends coming up on the other side. On kings hawaiian bread yum kings hawaiian. Will time now for your news by the numbers. First, 900 million, thats how much an arbitrator orders new york city to pay teachers in back pay. Mayor bill de blasio says the city cant afford payment because of the budget crisis caused by the pandemic. Next if, 2,385, thats how many nypd officers filed for retirement this year. The departments ranks shrinking to their thinnest in nearly a decade amid a rise in antipolice rhetoric. It also comes as the city sees a spike in shootings, burglaries and murders. And finally, nearly 50,000, thats how many incorrect absentee ballots were sent to homes in ohio, in a county in ohio. Officials are blaming malfunctioning scanners that either printed the wrong precinct or congressional race. New ballots are supposedly being sent out this week. Pete what could go wrong . All right. New concerns as the u. S. State department is warning that the communist nation is targeting local government officials in the u. S. To determine if theyre susceptible to chinese influence. Here to discuss, state Department Spokesperson morgan ortega. Morgan, good morning. Explain this. This is something that your boss, the secretary of state the, sort of briefed some governors on previously, but effectively chinas monitoring officials saying are they tough against us or are they soft, and might that be an opening. Thats right, pete. So back in february, actually, secretary mike pompeo spoke to the Bipartisan National Governors Association about a government, a chinese governmentbacked think tank that produced a report of all 50 governors and said whether they were friendly, hardline or ambiguous as it relates to being susceptible to influence from Chinese Communist party officials. So mike pompeo has been warning about this for quite some time for governors and local officials to be diligent. Just yesterday mike pompeo and secretary devos from the Education Department sent a letter to universities and k12 schools around the nation, and in this letter we warned of confucius institutes. You think that your child is going to learn mandarin, going to learn chinese language and culture at these confucius institutes, but these are essentially propaganda arms of the Chinese Communist party. Pete so important. And its not even just are they going to be compromised as governors to the chinese, its are they susceptible to the type of soft power that china uses like these confucius institutes and so forth if. Thank you for bringing that to us this morning. I want to get your take the on another demonstration of who the communist chinese really are. The Vice President had a debate this last week, and when it was broadcast in china, the portion that included Kamala Harris was freely shown. The portion of the Vice President was blocked into those rainbow bars on the screen. Why . Well, thats what the Chinese Communist party does. They censor what their people see, and theyre especially sensitive to criticism of the communist party. Im certainly not one of their favorite people at the moment. Pete youre scoring very low. Even on twitter, its amazing. Chinese citizens are band, are not allowed to use. This happens very regularly. You know, there is a fear from the communist party that any sort of criticism, any sort of eyeopening news of what actually happens in china if their citizens see it, thats sort of bad news for the party. So we see this happen often, and we often get a chuckle whenever the communist party leaders, when my counterparts, you know, between at us. We think, well, its interesting, the American People can see your criticism, they can criticize me, mike pompeo, but they cant see their own governments tweets. Pete man, the president s charged that, that a peaceful rise lead to more freedom in china. Thats totally debunked. Real quick, and i dont know how much you can share, your boss, the secretary of state, mentioned questioned that more of Hillary Clintons emails could be released before the election. Any updates on that . Well, nothing since yesterday except to say that mike pompeos made it very clear that he and the president are going to do everything they can to protect some of the classified information that may risk an asset or a program that are in those emails. And so thats the unfortunate part when you have private systems that contain top secret or secret pete thats the real unfortunate part, is that theres stuff in there that is not okay. Morgan, thank you so much. Stay strong, maybe lower your score even further. [laughter] have a good saturday. Still ahead, even democrats are shocked by the Washington Posts Jennifer Rubens calls to defund walter reed after President Trump is treated there. Plus, Lawrence Jones joins us live after a break. He actually has a plan that does the things that we should have been doing many months ago. And joe biden is not going to let his ego get in the way of fighting the disease. Ff pac is responsible for the content of this ad. I totally disavow the ku klux klan, i totally disavow david duke. You have some very bad people in that group, but you also had people that were very fine people on both sides. And im not talking about the neonazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally. I reject david duke, rejected david duke, ive rejected the kkk, the ku klux klan from the time im 5 years old, i rejected them. Will President Trump condemning White Supremacists repeatedly throughout the years, but many on the left continue to claim that the president is using race to divide america. Pete here to react is fox nation host and our friend Lawrence Jones. Lawrence are, good morning. Good morning. Pete good morning. So if you say it a 20th time, do you really mean it . Is that how it works . Well, the producers did a good job, they told all the story, they showed when the president responded. So what is the real issue here . Look, we can go back and forth at what the president has said, but the reality of it is, is that its not getting to the voters. And so, for me, or you know, they did the latino voters as well. They went after them, they used to call them racists, but something changed. Latinos and hispanics are for the president as you can see from the polling. He can pack rooms of them. But thats not the same with black support. And the reason is how do you get out there and talk with the people, go on the ground and dispel some of the myths . Because thats the only way you can do it. The president cannot with his platinum plan, talking about safe neighborhoods, he talked about economic growth, jobs, but we dont hear from the surrogates talking about this plan. Honestly, i would fire them all. It is their job to do outreach for the president. It is their job to craft the message and a strategy for local communities that are going to be able to get the president to gain their support. Right now they havent been able to do that. And its not just because of this whole racism talk, but its because they are not connecting with voters. Im on the ground every single day talking with black, hispanic, white, and there is a void there. And it can only be directed to the people that are responsible for crafting that strategy. You know, pete, as you know, the president had a lot of. [inaudible] conflict National Conflict when it comes to criminal justice reform, but that doesnt impact people really on a local level. So what is the Campaign Going to do on the local level to dispel those myths and go directly to the people. They have to do that. Jedediah yeah. You know, lawrence, what youre talking about is a key issue that can and should be addressed by the campaign, and weve been talking all morning about what issues are central in this election, whats on peoples minds. And one of the issues is that there is this exodus from these blue states to red states, and one of the people that had been willing to come out front and center and acknowledge that is someone on the left, bill maher. On fridays show he confronted representative adam is schiff on the exodus from california. Listen to what he had to say. California businesses are reeving the statement leaving the state in droves. There in 1983, i found paradise. I love california. I do [applause] i dont want to leave. I dont know what im getting for my super high taxes. People are leaving. Like, in my industry joe rogan left, ben shapiro, elon musk talks about a leaving. What do you say a about that since youre a california representative . Well, i think we have to make every effort to make this in a more businessfriendly state. I dont think theres anything incompatible being progressive and also wants to make sure this is a place where businesses can survive of and thrive. Jedediah you know, this is a real issue, lawrence, and its not just about taxes, but its also about crime. Theres so many facets going into peoples minds that theyre just picking up and leaving. This needs to be talked about more. Its a terrible thing thats happening across the country. I travel to these states and cities every day, and i see the decay. I saw it happening two years ago. I dont understand why this is not a central part of the campaign. You know, i want to retire one day. Im only in new york because the bosses make me. I want to retire back in texas on a ranch pete ill go with me. Everybodys welcome. Everybody can come back to the lone star state. But im afraid that there wont be any texas because of all these people who are moving to texas and bringing their policies there. And every time i talk to new yorkers, they always talk about austin. Well, guys, austin is not really texas, okay . S that is not what we like. These are people that are transplants from other states that come and move there. Thats not how we roll. And so, again, i would fire the people in the campaign that hasnt made taxes a central focus. That should be you know, guys, im really in a mood today, because i feel like all these strategists in these campaigns, they just collect dough, and theyre not focusing on the issues that matter to the voters. I mean, theres a lot of things that we agree on in this country and that they can message directly to the people. But its things like they want to focus on personality and all that. Which the president , i understand, hes his own man. Hes going to do a what hes going to do. But how do you get those small independent if voters, this is how you do it, the pocketbook. Will let me add one more name to the exodus from california to texas, actor james vander beak has a following. At the park in Beverly Hills near the house we just moved away from, youre not allowed to fly a kite. Youre not also allowed to at any park in Beverly Hills, riding a bicycle, throwing a ball against a cinderblock wall, using weights, cones or any type of pads, cleats, on and on. Cant go to a batting cage. Not saying i need to fly a parachute with a fan strapped to my back, but when people ask why were moving our kids out of l. A. , these are some of the reasons. I agree, i think its empowerment to take ownership of your message. Why isnt the Trump Campaign hammering more of these messages when it comes to joe biden . I believe the debate stage is part of the way you do that. But let me say to this, lawrence, and this a takes us back to the White Supremacy that you said earlier. The megaphone of the Mainstream Media refuses to listen to the platinum plan, to black unemployment, to those advances in criminal justice, it refuses to listen to any of those things, lawrence. Instead, it leans into the microphone, once again, and repeats the terms of White Supremacy. How do you overcome the megaphone . If you notice, the media didnt just start doing it with trump, okay . If you know thats their strategy, cut straight through it and go straight to the people. That is the failure right there, is we can talk and complain about the media. Its not going to change. Youve got fox news, and then youve got everybody else, okay . That is not going to change. The only way you change it is going directly to your american citizens. And the president can do it. Any candidate can do it. He proved that with the his tannic vote hispanic vote. The reason why democrats are very concerned with the latino vote is the president s been able to cut through it, go down on the ground, focus on the states where theres latino support and connect with those voters. Thats why you dont see ads about hes racist toward them. Youll see a shift in strategy. What have we seen from joe biden . Hes investing more into his latino strategy, investing more into ads targeting latino communities. You will know if your message is cutting through based on where the democrats go with their messages. Theyve afraid about this. It hasnt been the same thing with black voters, and thats because theres a failure of strategy. And i will repeat it again, anybody that is responsible for outreach, black outreach specifically, in the Trump Administration and on the campaign should not have a job. Because at the end of the day, your job is to do one thing, get more support for the president , for your cause, and they havent been able to do that. Pete and they have a good thing to sell. Jedediah Lawrence Jones, bringing the wisdom on saturday morning, as always. Great to see you, lawrence. [laughter] well talk again soon. Nice seeing yall. Jedediah all right. Still ahead, the commission of president ial debates can semiing the second showdown canceling the second showdown between President Trump and Vice President biden. Were going to take a deep dive into accusations of bias. Thats next. Dont forget your lunch im making pizza on kings hawaiian mini subs. Yum kings hawaiian. Can it help keep me asleep . Will the commission on president ial debates canceling the next faceoff between President Trump and joe biden, and now concerns over potential bias among its members. Here with a look at that commission, political analyst ron meyer. Ron, thanks for being here. Lets talk about the commission that makes up the president ial Debate Commission. What do we know about who is on the commission, what their leanings are. Yeah. Its basically a lot of former politicians, mostly who have become lobbyists. It has academics, media executives and, frankly, some activists who have been very vocally opposed to trump. So when you look at the makeup, its not exactly folks you would see aligning themselves with the president. In fact, senator bob dole served with three of the quoteunquote republicans on there and says they arent supportive of the president. If you really look into what theyve said and done, imagine this is kind of the way to look at it. The republicans on there havent really been republicans for years. Imagine, will, and i know youre a sports guy, imagine if you had the world series between the Houston Astros and Atlanta Braves and you were having umpires who were fans of the game. And the people that were supposed to be braves fans and moved to houston and havent will right. The president is right to wonder if theres really anybody on his commission. Will i like the analogy, and i think it works really well. When it comes to the commission on president ial debaits, you have got yvonne howe. She gave 500 to Hillary ClintonsSenate Campaign in 2000 and directly contributed to Democratic Candidates as recently as 2018. To dorothy ridings, 8,000 to Democratic Candidates, Kenneth Wallace worked as National Staff for the mcoregon campaign bay mcgovern campaign. I see what you mean. Heres the thing, what do you do . I mean, you play on a tilted field . Do you opt out of the field, . What do you do if youre donald trump . Yeah, i mean, if im him, you need every opportunity to speak. Unfortunately, i think he kind of got the rug pulled out from under him. It doesnt seem like they were willing to negotiate. For example, last night he was willing to do an outside debate. I think that would have been a fine alternative. The president needs to take every opportunity he can to get on the debate stage, but frankly, i think hes right to question the refs. Will i agree. Unfortunately, i have to run. Even if its a tilted field, youve got to yet on and play the game. Ron, appreciate the time. The cookbook is now number one on the New York Times bestseller, and hash brown crust is a specialty of steve dos i steve doocy. Next. Will the happy in a hurry cookbook is now out, and its number one on the New York Times bestseller. Pete this is no lie, weve been eating the hash brown quiche all morning long, and we still are. Jedediah the one, the only, steve doocy joins us now. Steve, welcome. I am so excited about this book. Everything in this book looks delicious, steve. How do you manage to make everything look so good . Well, listen, you know, the whole idea behind our first cookbook was everybodys got a food that makes them happy, reminds them of a happy time. This particular grandma hash brown quiche, hash brown crust quiche, itsing if my grandma used to make in minnesota when i was a little kid. She would make it in a cast iron skillet. She had a great big old wood burning stove that was burning 24 hours a day for the part throughout the year. And when we make this now, it just reminds me of happy times as a kid, and weve put together a hundred different recipes that have happy stories. And theyre all in the cookbook. Because, think about it, weve been in a pandemic, were looking for something happy. So its nice the look forward to something happy at the end of the day in the form of a great meal or today a great piece of quiche to start your morning. Will steve, its very, very good, as always. Pete every time im out at a diner are serving me food, but theyre asking me about your book and your food, okay . Im looking at Sean Hannitys mac and cheese rolls, which i played a small part in. I believe maybe the plan was hatched at some significant event of mine. You know, it was at your wedding. I was sitting with sean hannity, and he put a recipe in our first cookbook. And it was the corned beef and cabbage. But it was in the holiday section. It was back on page 189 or Something Like that. So he said, look, every other fox host is ahead of me. I want to be in your next cookbook, but ive got to be ahead of everybody. So we were at your wedding, pete, and i said to sean, okay, you want to be ahead of everybody else, you need an appetizer. I said, what is it . He said this thing that im eating right now. [laughter] and he was eating a mac and cheese on a stick. Kathy and i tried to come up with mac and cheese on a stick, and its really hard for the home chef to make. Instead, we put it into an egg roll and, in fact, the video on how to make it is at foxnews. Com. This is so good because it is crispy and crunchy on the outside, and its just cheesy and creamy on the inside. And its just one of a hundred happy in a hurry recipes. Will i was going to say, pete, who did sean jump in line to get further up in the book . Ive watched you on various shows talking about the recipes, who else you have in there . Whos given recipes . Well, you know, ainsley and brian, obviously. We have got judge jeanine, bret baiers wife amy has a great recipe on a chicken artichoke casserole. Marcus luttrell, the lone survivor, has one of the best recipes. Its in the holiday section. Its his mothers prime rib. You know, whenever he would be deployed wherever he was around the world, when he was thinking about going home, he was thinking about that happy food for him was his moms prime rib. And so its in the happy in a hur i cookbook hurry cookbook too. Jedediah steve the, have you always had a passion for cooking . Well, jed, heres the secret. When i was about 8 years old, i was in 4h out in kansas, and i one year i entered the kansas state fair with a batch of chocolate chip cookies, and i won a blue ribbon. At the kansas state fair, which is amazing. You know, thats as high as it gets for a 7yearold kid. But heres the thing, the recipe actually came from thed side of the nestles morsels. Pete gotta start somewhere. Steve the, congratulations. Number one book in the world, cooking book in the world, and the food is fantastic. You can get a limited copy of and kathys book when you sign up for fox nation. Steve doocy and this book, thank you. And depressions, wars that split a nation, and fractured the world. Americans have always found a way to vote and make their voices heard. So stand with the National Council on Election Integrity. Just the good old boys never meaning no harm are you ever saw in trouble with the law welcome to fox and friends, let me take you behind the curtain for just a moment, some music playing in our use, i asked pete what tv show is this song from. He failed. I told you she wouldnt know. I took note too. Are executive producers that you wouldnt know what show this is from. Know, i do not know. Drama. This is the theme song to the dukes of hazard. I would not know that. You are right. Pete is very familiar with my zone of popculture knowledge. If Britney Spears new the popculture. It is a complemented. It is, i will take it as a compliment. We got to get to know me a little better but the latest team members but we will catch you up. We will catch everyone out there up on some news, we have been following the latest in the president s diagnosis. Weve been covering that daytoday watching and tracking his recovery and yesterday he did his on camera interview for the First Time Since being diagnosed, details his symptoms, talked about his recovery and did it all with doctor siegel who works right here, on tucker last night. I know a lot of people that had the china virus as i call it because it came from china. I feel really strong. I didnt have a problem with breathing which a lot of people seem to have. I had none of that. But i didnt feel very strong, i didnt feel very vital, didnt feel like the president of the us should feel. As soon as i felt something, i am thinking about it because i see what is going on. I have a lot of people are around me even though there is tremendous testing, i think about it and i know theres a danger but i cant go into a basement and hide in a basement the rest of my life. Im running a country. One of the things paid tribute to buy the president , this antibody cocktail the president received that he says made him feel a lot better, it is not available yet but it will be one day to minimize the impact of this virus on peoples bodies. He paid tribute to the amazing staff at walter reed which hasnt gone unnoticed taking care of the president and he has access to a lot of care the average person does not as he should, hes president of the United States but it is fascinating to watch this unfold, happy to see him doing better, better than some anticipated as of right now. Back on the trail as is joe biden who continues to dodge questions whether he and Kamala Harris would like to pack the Supreme Court. We should stop calling it packing the court because people dont understand what that means, they think it means putting ideological compatriots on the Supreme Court. It means adding more than 9 justices to the court. We should Start Talking about exploding the court. Biden the matter what you call it wont tell us what he will do. When the election is over i know it is a great question and i dont blame you for asking but the moment i answer that question the headline in every one of your papers will be about that other than focusing on what is happening now. It would only be a headline if it is joe biden promises to pack the court. If he says he will not pack the court it is not a screaming headline. In my mind that is an admission they will seek to pack the court. That is a radical proposition to reconfigure the american Justice System, 9, 12, 15, something that hasnt been tried in 80 years because we had 9 justices for 150 years, joe biden knows how radical the idea is because in 1983 he called a bonehead idea. President roosevelt clearly had the right to send a proposal to pack the court. It was totally within his right to do that. He violated no law, he was legalistic we absolutely correct but it was a bonehead idea. It was a terrible terrible mistake to make and it put in question for an entire decade the independence of the most significant body including the congress in my view, the most significant body in this country, the Supreme Court of the United States of america. Joe biden in 1983 when he was still running for president , the sixth or seventh iteration of joe biden. I like the suggestion, is it exploding the court, expanding the court, politicizing the court, shredding the constitution, whatever you want to call it the inside baseball speak of pack record is understood by the bc types, voters love their country can understand how precious and fragile our republican democracy is to say this guy wont even answer a basic question, the absurdity of his answer, that is a great question. I dont blame you for asking. That is what reporters do, ask questions, softball questions every single day. If he thinks he can go to election day without answering it he has another think coming. He may have canceled the second debate, the president will get one more bite of this apple. They would be smart to spend every day and every moment they can, we discussed this this morning on and off camera to do two things, will you expand the court, will you expand the court, will you expand the court and what does that mean and make you pick, real voters in pennsylvania or the radical leftwing base and the other one, will you open the economy or will you close the economy, that is the stakes of this moment, talk what you want about masks and who gets tested. At the end of the day people understand what we are facing right now, i am with the president on the bold, reopening, trusting people i want national and ask mandates and more shutdowns, that is the clear contrast that touches everyones lives, their health and their wallets and could be what this comes down to but an issue like this can become animated in a way we did not anticipate and his refusal to answer it will only crystallize, even more, make voters start to think why what is so scary about it, he cant win either way. Does even now . Jedediah he knows what he is open to doing, he doesnt know how it will play out but he knows what hes open to doing and it is not advantageous to answer that question because he doesnt think the voters will hold him accountable the media will hold him accountable and he fears he will marginalize a segment of his base by providing an answer. He decided not to do it. On a lot of the other issues people do now where donald trump and joe biden stand on covid19, the social distancing, you mentioned mask mandates, law and order, they know the answer, that is important, you need to know, on the issue of packing the court they dont know, they deserve an answer, people deserve to know if i liked joe biden president what he will do, donald trump, all that needs to be on the table and this issue should not be spared in the main. Extreme weather, delta is turning into a Tropical Storm after hitting parts of louisiana as a category 2 hurricane. Steve harrigan live in lafayette. Reporter this is the scene in southwest louisiana, trees down, branches down, homeowners coming outside to deal with some of the damage. Much of the state is in the dark, 600,000 homes losing electric power, the storm was a category 2 when it made landfall at 7 00 pm last night in the small town of creel at 100 mileperhour windss, 7 foot surge. There were a lot of rescues overnight, people in their cars, a lot of trucks, some real tough issues for traffic and the number of water rescues performed, the biggest danger is from flooding, some areas getting 17 inches of rain, 10,000 people in shelters because of social distancing. A lot of people had to get on buses, they didnt have the capacity, this area suffering from a major storm 6 weeks ago, landfall last night, 14 miles away from major category for the 6 weeks ago, louisiana hit twice in two months. Thank you very much. Two questions, do you think he can go to the election without answering that question . I do. Wont answer. Only highlights why debates are so important. It is amazing. Amazing if that happens. We will see. Turning to your headlines. Militia members plotting to kidnap Gretchen Witmer arraigned on terrorism charges. A judge setting a 10 million bond is another suspect awaits extradition, the alleged plot to storm the state capital, then to that the governor and put her on trial for treason. Investigators believe they charge her for strict covid19 guidelines, 6 others has to be arranged next week. Donald trumps disappointment after reports claim will embark said the rooms probe findings wont be released before the election. If that is the case i am very disappointed. I think it is a terrible thing and i will say to his face. The Durham Report will not be ready by election. It came out today. That is a disgrace. I think it is a disgrace. It is an embarrassment. John durham is investigating the handling of the investigation into russian socalled russian conspiracy in the 2016 election. Caught on camera a bear climbing into a pickup truck, behind the wheel. Watch. Change oh my god, the bear is in the truck is that a bear or a man in a bear suit . That is going viral, the user said she was in lake tahoe with her dad when she spotted the man bear, the homeowner opened the door to let the bear out. The homeowner quickly opened the door to let the bear out . Poodles look like a human and a dog costume. The reason bears standing on their back feet is so funny is because it looks like there is a man inside. I read what was in the teleprompter. You think someone moved over to open the door for the bear . Or was that not it . Like a dog costume. That is the best thing ever because i can see is they do look like that and i would adopt that there. That lit up my morning. Nancy pelosi rolling out her plan to potentially remove a sitting president. This is not about donald trump but it shows the need for us to create a process for future president s. If it is not about trump, is it a larger plan to remove the potential President Biden . Former president obama advisor ways in next. Dont blame it on me dont blame it on me the 25 amendment creates a path if a president suffers a crippling physical or mental problems this legislation applies to future president s but we are reminded of the necessity of action by the health of the current president. Jedediah nancy pelosi and feeling legislation to create a commission to help out a sitting president , donald trump firing back saying it should really be a plan to ask joe biden. The 25 amendment crazy nancy is playing around, she is a nut job but this 25 amendment they put it into get kamala in. That is exactly what it is, a trial run to see if they can kick biden out, that is exactly right. Jedediah we will ask former biden member, the timing of this is a little wild. What is the real story with what nancy pelosi is doing in the 25 amendment . It is certainly election time and crazy things happen and this is one of those crazy things, the Supreme Court justice confirmation hearings that will take place this coming week and to distract, they are proposing this kind of legislation. It is beyond me when you have at the top of the ticket in our country and your octogenarian, nancy pelosi is an octogenarian. Why mental capacity is an issue they think they can win on. The reality is americans look at this especially moderate democrats like me and independents and wonder why we are talking about Something Like this when there are so many serious issues confronting this nation and how come our government cant put politics aside and work together, it makes you wonder whether these other attacks are legitimate . It seems there are other issues people would like to hear on, not only including packing the court but others as well. Look at this, the peoples charter has been released, progressive blueprint for where the Democratic Party may lead joe biden if he were elected president , employing 16 Million People shifting money away from Police Department and to our communities, Police Department are part of the community and an integral part of the community but these are positions you see scrolling on the screen, that help democrats to come out with Something Like that in plying of joe biden had an intermediate run to shift him left . It doesnt. This is not a left policy, this is an anarchy type policy. These type of policies, defunding the police or eliminating the police who serve our nation, it is ludicrous and the people who hear this become frightened and concerned what direction we are doing. Thats not reflective of the vast majority of the Democratic Party and not reflective of where the country is. If biden needs to make it Crystal Clear he rejects those types of policies he runs the risk of raising certain concerns to independent and moderate democrats. To think about how many people there are on the democratic side, those who sound like you versus the bernie bros, that remains to be seen to see the results of the election, thanks for joining us. Still ahead, democrats shocked by Jennifer Rubins call to defend walter reed after donald trump was treated there. Joey johnson coming up next. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie released from the hospital just months ago after receiving treatment for covid19, writing on twitter im happy to it you know this morning i was released from moorestown medical center, i think the extra ordinary doctors and nurses who cared for me, thanks to my family and friends for their prayers. I will have more to say about all of this next week. Jennifer rubin sparking backlash after she slammed the Walter Reed Medical Center for allowing donald trump to return to the white house. Never trump or ruben tweeting commerce might want to the fund walter reed. It is a Public Health hazard. Tell that to our next guest, marine corps bomb technician joey jones, the men and women at walter reed saved his life. He joined us with more. Help me out. What is funny is in nearly 2000s when we had a walter reed scandal, i didnt hear many people asking to the funded. A few years ago when it was such a bad place where veterans were dying with had sores, not a big deal but god for bid they treat the president of the United States and let him return to his home. She wants to defend the most important military facility in the world. What would she think if she heard terrorists get injured on the battlefield those same corpsmen at walter reed, i wonder if she thinks we should put them in jail for that. This is shock jock political commentary. Ray mavis, the secretary of the navy 20092017, look at what is happening in the navy during that time, pass legislation, it was so bad, ray mavis agreed the reputation asked walter reed was worst it has ever been. If he wants to take credit lets hold a congressional hearing because he has some explaining to do. Jedediah anything donald trump touches has to be evil . This woman works for the Washington Post. This is getting their 15 seconds of fame. And safe enough. And they have no confidence in life. I dont know. These are ways to attack donald trump because they think it will be lucrative in their lives, they are responsible for my life, idea you to come at me with anything other than stupidity. That is always tweets are, it is ridiculous. It is not a part of a conversation. Now places preface, no people or purpose, walter reed isnt perfect but people there keeping us alive. It saved your life. When you hear that comment does it just show is our politics so far gone, given to a president cant be sacrosanct . 100 . Any stone you can turn to find a worm. That is all these people are doing and if youre doing it on the right side with the left side stop it. We can receive joe biden on ideas and policy position, and nancy pelosi is establishing a commission to put Kamala Harris in charge and we can talk about those things, we want security, we want freedom. Dont become a Jennifer Rubin. We are better than that. Dont become a Jennifer Rubin might be the last statement of the morning. Talking about the care he got with siegel. Didnt feel strong. And i had none of that. There is something a little bit off and the doctors at walter reed were incredible, it is good to be president , they were really great people. What else can you say . The president of the United States just experienced an illness, that is a good thing because he will take every opportunity to save american lives and treat americans more seriously from this day forward. For anyone not to focus on that, from a debate or horrible tweet to a column in the New York Times or Washington Post that is malpractice. This is an opportunity to pounce on the fact that our president knows what this feels like and will work harder to help the entire country. That is something to take away from this. Joey jones, not Jennifer Rubin, featured in the new fox news polls modern warriors, real stories from real heroes. It is an amazing one, thank you. Still ahead the commission of president ial debates canceling the second showdown between donald trump and joe biden is questions arise of who makes up the socalled bipartisan group. Alyssa a a is here to address accusations of bias. Ive been pretty stable with my schizophrenia for a while, and then my kids asked me why my body was rocking back and forth. My doctor said i have tardive dyskinesia. Td can affect different parts of the body, and it may also affect people who take medications for depression and bipolar disorder. [narrator] in todays trying times, were here to help you manage td. Visit talkabouttd. Com for a doctor discussion guide to prep for your next appointment in person, over the phone, or online. I was glad to learn there are treatments for td. Reporter they had some big events at the white house and perhaps there, i dont know, nobody really knows, numerous people have contracted it but this is a contagious disease and generally you get better from it but we also have medicines that will help a lot and if you look at mortality rate it is up 95 or 85 . What we are doing with the medicines and all the things is incredible but especially younger people, i wish they would open schools, i hope they open schools, some of the states are close, but your is worse than the problem. It is a terrible thing. Donald trump on his first on camera interviews and being diagnosed sitting down with doctor mark siegel and tucker carlson. Lets bring in the white house comedic asians director joining us, the president has a busy schedule picking up, they have a rally in florida on monday. One of the things he talked about with doctor siegel was energy level last weekend, how he knew he wasnt feeling well because he wasnt his usual energetic self. Where is he today . At walter reed, it is eager on the road talking to the American People. Supporters who support Law Enforcement will comply with cdc guidelines to make sure it is done safely. He is looking forward to it. I said before this man has done more while having covid19 and battling a his opponent had when healthy, you cant keep donald trump down. The question people are asking is when will the showdown happen with the commission deciding to cancel the second debate after the president not going to do it over the computer. It raised a lot of questions about this commission and the socalled bipartisan nature of it. Bob dole who doesnt china and often, tweeted something the results and a lot of people lies. Supposedly bipartisan, and all of the republicans and most are friends of mine. Im concerned none of them support donald trump. A biased Debate Commission is unfair. We go through the names of people in the commission, democrats who are democrats and republicans who are never trumpers. You feel like getting a fair shake from the commission and what is your next move . As you know negotiations for these debates go on for months prior and to blindside the campaign by announcing they were going to move to virtual without consulting surprising, the president is eager to get in front of the American People side to side and make the case, how it stacks up better for the American People. We will look for another opportunity to do that, something the public deserves, this has been a truly remarkable election season. There are basic policy questions we dont have the answers to, whether it is the Debate Commission, the American People will hear from donald trump. Jedediah something nancy pelosi has been talking about, the 20 fifth amendment and the bill to remove the president for incapacity, she is saying its not about donald trump. What is your take . What is this about . It seems like an act of desperation. First they had the Mueller Report and then impeachment which failed in the senate and now they are looking for another revenue to remove the president who was elected by the American People comes off as sheer desperation into the American People they see that, they see that no matter what you have a democrat speaker of the house, continues at every turn to stonewall the president s agenda and keep him from leading our country. Pete asked what is your next move when it comes to the debate . You said rest assured the American People will hear from donald trump. It is important these candidates face off against each other, and press each other on those issues. Are you telling us you will find a third debate, you have a way to get the Biden Campaign to agree to . What is next . I dont speak the campaign but i know it is the president s position he wants to get on stage with joe biden again and he wants to answer tough questions for the American People. I am sure we will push to do that whether it is the Biden Campaign i would note that earlier this week mike pence gave a remarkable debate performance, handily defeating senator, harris and not just around the front pages of News Coverage quicker than anything i have ever seen before, the media is trying at every turn, some folks on the Debate Commission to not give us a fair shake to this president but he will find a way to get his message out as he always has. How much can the president do to get joe biden to answer a question, like exploding it, he goes in for the reporters and says if i answered it would be there by which is an answer in and of itself. Can a candidate get away with affect, thats work of not asking a question central to our republic . I dont think so and i think donald trump has an innate ability to force people and force them to answer tough questions so whether it is on his twitter feed and interviews reminding the public that joe biden is not answered these fundamental policy questions and i have seen it starting to work even in more liberal leaning reports criticizing that the Vice President , former Vice President wont answer these basic questions on Court Packing. Jedediah thanks for joining us. A lot will be unfolding in the next 24 days, we will talk to you again real soon. Now some weather updates. What is the latest . Reporter hopefully the next 24 days will be caller in the hurricane area. That will be the case, delta was our 20 fifth named storm of the season, ten storms hit the us, 5 as hurricanes, delta was the latest you see, now a Tropical Storm. It will weaken throughout the day but there is a line of storms that gets pulled up, coming across parts of alabama, that is where we see a chance of severe weather, a few tornadoes this morning or tornado warnings, we will see that pulled to the east and atlanta later today and tonight, looking at that threat for a tornado or two but that is the moisture continuing to pull to the northeast, by monday making its way across parts of the northeast but this is the heaviest precipitation across arkansas, mississippi towards tennessee and kentucky, four inches. We will explain right here on first, green beret and prolonged horn and a friend of mine nate boyer will be here for the preview of the match up next. Im voting for proposition 19 because it strengthens prop 13 for seniors, disabled veterans, wildfire victims, and family farmers. Prop 19 also protects the right of parents to pass on the family home to their children at the current property tax rate. You worked hard for your house and you should be able to give it to your children without a tax penalty. Thats why taxpayer advocates, firefighters, veterans, and Small Business owners are voting yes on prop 19. It is crazy to imagine playing the cotton ball classic, playing in that standing, none of that actually happened, the lack of fans, i cant fathom that but it is a good thing it is happening, go back to playing football. It used to be called the river shootout and the rivalry or whatever it is but i think it will be issued out. I want to have your optimism. Oklahoma has a strong quarterback. On fox. And, give us some talks on. An interesting week. Things are changing quite a bit. The niners in the super bowl, the dolphins are only one in 3, they are decimated with injuries. They almost hung on last week. I appreciate every issue you jump into, appreciate your service. More fox and friends next. I got my smooth on straining, and bloating, again and again. No way. More exercise. More water. And more fiber is the only way to manage it. Is it . Maybe you think. Its occasional constipation. Maybe its not. It could be a chronic medical condition called ibsc, and time to say yesss to linzess. Linzess works differently than laxatives. It helps relieve belly pain and lets you have more frequent and complete bowel movements. Do not give linzess to children less than six and it should not be given to children six to less than 18, it may harm them. Do not take linzess if you have a bowel blockage. Get immediate help if you develop unusual or severe stomach pain, especially with bloody or black stools. The most common side effect is diarrhea, sometimes severe. If its severe, stop taking linzess and call your doctor right away. Other side effects include gas, stomach area pain, and swelling. Change your thinking to ibsc. If your constipation and belly pain keeps coming back, tell your doctor and say yesss to linzess. We want to thank you for joining us on this beautiful saturday morning.
