Well, rob, jillian, its a hard question because what we have to see is what the ig says, he spent a lot of time looking into this question and the debate is what does it mean, we know that there will be some errors or problems or maybe intentional failures by the fbi when it comes to this investigation and the question was it motivated by politics or was it simply errors along the way or mistakes made by individuals who should be punished, we will see what the ig says today and that will tell us what the next steps are. Jillian not really on facts but what to make of them, how can facts be disputed . Well, thats a great question, as you know we had a lot of discussion in the recent weeks and months about whose facts are which but here in this case, the ig will lay out exactly what happened, you know, who did what, theres claims that theresen theres an email that was modified, thats a huge issue in the investigation and caused the judges to grant surveillance orders, at the same time we have seen a lot of the evidence that they presented to the court about carter page and whether he was involved with the russians and, of course, nothing has come of that, he hasnt been indicted or anything but surely theres a lot about carter page suggesting that he was close to russian Intelligence Officers and surveillance was legitimate even if there was errors that took place in the process. Rob you have papadopoulos wrapped up in this as well, do you hear any of the familiar names that we heard in the past, people like that when they talk about the lower levels of the fbi doing things wrong, doing things that might have been bad . We will see strzok and page and maybe other fbi officials who the Inspector General looked into to see if they did something inappropriate or did the right thing and provided the right evidence to the court and so we will see, a lot of this turns on the dossier and what role the dossier played in the ongoing surveillance also, so we will see what the ig says about this also. Jillian seems like, i dont know, call me crazy, seems like each time we have something like, this everybody is expecting a bombshell, nobody is really expecting that today because we have been a time or two, we are spiraling in the circle that seems out of control that is never coming to an end, do you expect the same outcome . You know, jillian, youre exactly right, we have seen a lot in the impeachment process where youve had the secret hearings and a lot leaked out and public hearings an theres nothing new to tell because its all been leaked out, similarly here with the ig report we heard some things leaking out about the ig report, the ig report will find out that the end of the investigation it was all all right but failures by the fbi and perhaps intentional misrepresentations and if something new comes out, they will come out and as you say everybody see what is they want to see and we will keep rolling down this road. Rob we have this big thing today where the democrats will lay out the case, not expected as we just said to learn anything new, do you think this was designed, you put this right on monday when this report is going to come out and gives, i guess, people somewhere else to look besides that the ig report . Well, whats interesting about the hearings unlike the Intelligence Committee hearings that we saw over the last couple of weeks they will not hear from any fact witnesses, they will hear from the lawyers on the impeachment side talking about what the Intelligence Community found and why it thinks these are impeachable crimes or high crimes or misdemeanors as the constitution says and ultimately the Judiciary Committee will have to make a decision, recommend stuff to the house familiar and theyll go forward. We sort of know whats going to happen. Judiciary committee is likely to recommend articles of impeachment and we know likely the house floor will vote and go to senate and we also know the president likely to be exonerated. In some way the American People seems like a set piece, not a lot new going on here and the American People are saying what are we doing here. Well, i think when we look at what voters will care about next november they are going to be asking what they always ask, theyll be asking what have you done for me lately, of course, they are going to care more about economy than impeachment because the economy affects them deeply and President Trumps economy would reduce regulations and tax credits across the board have created higherpaying jobs, betterpaying jobs than higher wages and more takehome pay, thats what they are going to care more about. Jillian its fair to say that voters will care more about different issues but mustaffa with the circle thats going on, we talked about at the top of the show, seems to be spirling continuously and without the evidence as i mentioned its kind of hard to make the argument that a lot of democrats are making right now. Well, the evidence is fairly clear and most americans believe it because you look at poll numbers, over 60 of americans believe impeachment should happen and you will start see evidence come out in coherent way starting today and when the trial is in the senate you will see more of it. The facts are indisputable, the president of the United States tried to use foreign aid to help him with the next election, thats just jillian facts arent disputable. I think the facts are pretty clear. Jillian you said its an opinion. Thats part of the battle that we are fighting, jenny, thats what i wonder what voters will carry into 2020, theres a lot of opinion going around here. Well, facts that are not disputable are the summary of the call, no conditionality on the call, both president zelensky and President Trump said that there was no pressure on the call. The aid was released without any promise of any investigation and President Trump did not do anything wrong, so the indisputable facts are those. Theres no evidence to impeach President Trump, voters are going to care about the economy and i think that just like what we saw with president reagan back in 1980 when he crystallizing are you better are today than 4 years ago, the vast majority of American Voters will say yes, thats what democrats are afraid of, thats why they are trying to impeach President Trump and, again, thats what voters are going to care about more.
