I actually arrived on scene moments after the vehicle crashed. So as soon as i arrived on the scene, the mob pulled out the victim. The victims name is adam handwritinger. That was confirmed by his brother brian hainer confirmed by his brother who launched a go fund me to pay for his expenses. He did not fight back. Several men punched him in the face. He actually hit the ground. When he hit the ground. A female kicked him in the back of the head and then we saw a suspect with a vest that said security kick him in the head and that sent adam unconscious. According to some witnesses on the scene, they accused adam of trying to run them over from all of our sources and all of the research we have been doing, we havent found any evidence to help with that cause. It seems seems to have started off with some type of argument and started to chase adam in his car. I arrived moments after he crashed into the tree and thats when the attack happened. But, according to witnesses we just havent found any information that said that he was trying to run anyone over at this time. Brian right. The rumor is he was at a 7eleven trying to defend a transgender personal getting harassed. Then he got in his car to get away. And then he tried to avoid those protesters and instead they rip him out of the car and did what they did. There is nothing laud tor load. Seem like heroes like they had no choice. There has been crazy. I spent 12 nights reporting in portland. Violence throughout the night. See their opinion on the constant civil unrest that has been going on in their city. A lot of them tell me originally they supported the movement of black lives matter. They will wanted to see some type of Police Reform. But the constant violence in their city has drawn them away and they feel like the constant violence has tainted the message of black lives matter. Yeah. A couple of questions. Curious about the response from the police because for the most part, as you know, jorge, the police kind of back off on things like this. While it started with the black lives Matter Movement who are on the streets now every night . There are two clear groups ever protesters. There are the original lawyers protesters who are there thrrlg want some type of Police Reform voicing their opinion later in the night we see change of guard antagonizers come on the streets and cause destruction. Steve what do the police do. They have been so far pretty restrained. The nights that we have been there when the crowd attacked the federal courthouse, we have seen the federal officers and Portland Police warn the crowd not to attack the federal courthouse it. Takes a fire to be started on the federal courthouse to see a response. Thats what we have been seeing constant every night. Actually interviewed another portland locally iraqi war veteran who describe it as the scene that it reminds him when he fought in iraq. And thats the type of stuff that we have been hearing from portland locals every day when we have been reporting. Ainsley people say looks like a war zone in the chop area. For me, i stayed on the scene for about five to seven minutes. After that i felt like it wasnt safe for me to be on the scene considering that several people were starting to look for journalist. That numbers now at 180 sadly, and she also didnt mention Kamala Harris, who had been picked shortly after that, so i think they need to, everybody, on all sides of this equation and were covering the democrats all week as we always do, always covering both sides of the story and letting people at home decide when november 3 rolls around. Laying the ground work in a very emotional way, and you know, when she said hes not up to the job, it is what it is, Michelle Obama is making an effort there to speak directly to voters across the country, women in particular, moms across the country which we all know are an area that are going to be very competitive in this election come november, so they lay out the case and make the case and i would expect that by the time you get to thursday youre going to get more policy and more of an uplifting here is what we would offer, this is what a biden presidency would look like, this is the policies that you could expect to live under, because you know, theyre starting from that place that was pretty dark last night. He said the radical ideas he used as finger quotes like he likes to do, have become more mainstream in america so theres a huge choice to be made by American Voters in the coming months and i think that Bernie Sanders is speaking honestly that a lot of those ideas have become more mainstream and thats the choice that americans have to make when they walk into that voting both and they have a lot to look at and listen to and a lot of input that well be covering for them between now and then. A black lives matter protest that began peacefully sunday night quickly turning violent. The incident appear to have started with a mob surrounding a couple near fort lands Federal Court House. The man and woman clearly attempting get back into their truck before the assault began. One protester tackling the woman to the ground and beating her before the truck was finally able to speed off. Unfortunately, this is not where the violence ends. The couple crashing their truck off the side of the road after being chased by the violent mob. Despite the man yelling for help , the angry crowd pulls him from his vehicle, yells and curses at him until he sits on the ground. They then beat him until he is bloody. President trump rolled back a lot of the problems taken back the territorial caliphate, weakened iran which lessened the amount of money they have to send out to the proxies and through that action hes also brought unusual countries together around shared opportunities, and at the end of the day, regardless of what your faith is President Trump knows that all human beings want to have a better life, they want to have Economic Opportunity and they want to have security so this is in the best interest of both countries.
